Cities full of monsters of all shapes and sizes, that can crush buildings or breath fire, all getting more or less along and running restaurants and shops? Now Tsukiko had to see this to believe it! "That sounds amazing," she says, closing her eyes for a second to visualize it. "And... the odds of meeting an 'unpleasant' individual don't sound that much different than some places in Shibuya." She chuckles, then shakes her head. "But I'm sure that everyone - human and Digimon - have bad days or things going behind the scenes, so I can't judge."
Despite how fun it was to tease Amelie, with her obvious reactions, Tsukiko does feel slightly guilty. Luckily, Amelie seems to understand. "Thank you. Humor helps get through some of the most stressful situations, not to mention the weirdest like this."
The spirit advice was sound. Tsukiko had to analyze each time it talks to figure out exactly what it wants or why it is the way it is. "Gotta keep calm and look at things in different ways? Is that what you're saying? I'm... pretty decent at that, or at least keeping an open mind."
Hopefully her 'open mind' will be able to process the looming city of Digital Monsters.

The Digital World was an amazing world, wasn't it? In a sense, Amelie was happy to form part of it, and was similarly elated to be able to share it with people she considered close to them. An enriching experience, for sure.
But... right now, that wasn't all that important. The brunette just shook her head at Tsukiko's apology, not finding it necessary. "It's fine. I kinda don't mind by now."
Sides, and if she had any say on it, she could almost tell that Ooi liked her idol quite a bit. Whether her suspicions were right or wrong, however, that was left to be seen!
A satisfied nod was the answer that followed suit; yup, that had more or less been her intent! "I guess that as long as you tackle every new situation with an open mind, there are few things that can truly go wrong. That's the spirit!" She was definitely gonna need that 'open mind' in Terminus, and that was to say the least!
Getting through the City's threshold didn't prove to be too difficult, yet that was when the amazing beings began to show up in full force; a city that was inhabited mainly by digimon managed to accomplish that quite handily, after all. Amelie looked at her companions in an attempt to gauge their reactions, and concluded that Ooi was possibility excited and surprised at the same time.
What about Tsukiko, though?

Tsukiko's tension fades slightly as Amelie accepts her apology. "Glad that's settled," she says quietly. "I'd hate to make you uncomfortable or upset in any way. If everything is fine, I'll stop apologizing now."
It was time to keep an open mind, putting her actions in line with her words - for they had arrived at the edge of the great city. However, it was easier said than done. Everything was so much different than the Real World, and yet so similar. Shops that could only be designed for Digimon alongside buildings that wouldn't look out of place in some Real World towns, inhabitants of every shape and size, a mighty stone wall surrounding the place, and just a strange feeling of 'different sameness' makes Tsukiko stunned, in awe, a bit intimidated, and just slightly confused.
Going from the peculiarly perfect plains to... this... throws Tsukiko off quite a bit. "How... how is this the same world," she asks, staring at everything. "But... then again... just the different parts of Japan... Tokyo... no, even the different parts of Shibuya vary greatly, and with all of the inhabitants humans, it would have to have such tame differences compared to that of Digimon areas..." It seems as if she's starting to accept things.

Even despite that teasing exterior, Tsukiko was a girl that really cared about how others felt, wasn't she? That's something good to have in mind going forward, honestly! A true expression of a... 'Maiden's Heart', as Ooi would so effusively call it. It made Amelie smile.
"No offense taken, really!" She insisted, hoping that there wouldn't be any residual hard feelings over the whole deal. They were all friends, right? "Good fun is nice and all, I guess."
The brunette didn't exactly mind being at the butt end of the shipping jokes, wherever they originated, but she definitely wasn't going to insist on being it. A person could only weather so much, after all.
Terminus seemed to be quite the experience for Tsukiko too. Given how she reacted at everything being so similar, yet so different managed to bring an amused expression to Amy's face, all while was too busy staring at some giant, mostly rocky digimon.
"Pretty impressive, isn't it?" She commented, gazing deep inside the city. "I'm sure you'll get used to this city in time, at least if you really want to; in a sense, it's like moving to a new country, except... more extreme, I guess?"
The brunette shrugged lazily, and after enough observation time passed... decided to speak up again. "Yet, staring at the threshold isn't going to do much about that, is it?" Her expression was suddenly replaced with a small grin. "Is there anything in particular you want to do in here, or... do you just want to wander around? We can do either."

'Moving to a new country' was an excellent metaphor, Tsukiko agrees mentally. However... is Amelie speaking from experience? "Amelie... are you not from Japan? I didn't want to assume because of your name, since anyone can be named anything, but did you move to this country from elsewhere?" This was not at all accusational. In fact, the dark, mysterious girl stares and smiles starry-eyed at Amelie. "Where are you from? Do you speak multiple languages? Are there Digimon in other countries?"
After she calms down from asking Amelie all these questions, Tsukiko turns her head towards her number one fan. "How are you holding up, Ooi? Is this place special enough for you?" She teases and gently nudges Ooi. "But seriously, you aren't freaked out or anything, are you? I would hate to see you scared or upset..."
Tsukiko takes a deep breath and plunges into the city like an Olympic diver whose turn is up. "Let's see what we got here. I don't know anything about this city, so wandering around seems to be the best option."

Weren't hose too many questions, too quickly? For a second, Amelie was a little lost when she got the second and third questions as she was thinking about an answer for the first. But... that was fine; besides, she had to admit that Tsukiko's starry-eyed expression was kinda cute.
A quick nod was the initial response. "Yup. I'm a foreigner to both Japan and the Digital World, even though I've been living in Tokyo for... maybe half a year? Maybe a little more, not totally sure about it." One thing was for certain, however. "Name betrays where I'm from, I think?" She made a small pause, as if stating something obvious. "In case you need a bit of help with that, I was born in France and... yeah, I kinda do; when your parents' native languages are French, English, and Japanese, I guess that you just learn bits of everything just by being there. I gotta admit that my Japanese had been kinda thick for a long and only in the recent months has been sounding less like gibberish, though!"
Regarding digimon in other countries, that was something the brunette had pondered on several occasions, yet... "I'm not sure about that." She shook her head, doubt being a bit obvious on her features. "I didn't know anything about them before getting to Japan, but if I were to make an educated guess, I'd wager that it's a phenomenon not exclusive to Japan. Take it with a grain of salt, though."
Thinking about it, however, it kinda brought a couple of questions to the girl's own head. "How 'bout you, Tsukiko?." A sly grin had taken Amelie's features by storm. "I'm a bit ignorant about idols overall, but... most don't use their real names, do them?"
A small wave of her hand dismissed that line of thought. "Don't worry, I won't ask your true name if you don't wanna disclose it, but it's just that I can't even guess where are you from if I don't have it! Maybe just Japanese if I had to make a wild guess, but... not much more than that."
By now, they had made a fair bit of progress through Terminus' streets. Given that Tsukiko herself wasn't very sure of where to go, it was on Amy to think about a place that'd catch her interest.
And as he did so, now it was Ooi's turn to answer. The shorter girl just shook her head, a small smile gracing her face. "Nope! This place is just... amazing. I guess it just left me breathless? I'm not sure; everything just seems so new and different. Now, I'm kinda just wondering what comes next. How about you?"
Granted, she still seemed kinda lost, but at least wasn't reacting badly at everything that was happening. And, by now, the brunette had found a path that went to one of the many of Terminus' squares; the one where all the important stores were, of course!

"Wow... France..." Tsukiko is amazed. A foreigner from France... a tri-lingual foreigner from France, no less! And she knows all about the Digital World! Amelie is amazing! And yet...
And yet, somehow, the mystery of the Digital World grows. Was the phenomenon exclusive to Tokyo, or were there other hotspots in the world that connect it to this one? Amelie never knew before coming here, but that isn't conclusive proof. Tsukiko's head spins at all the different thoughts and possibilities.
Then comes the question Tsukiko was expecting yet still caught off-guard by: her name. "Well... um.. so..." she struggles, trying to figure out how to word it. "You see... so.... I am Tsukiko, but I'm not only Tsukiko. I've... actually... well, so... I've tried out a few personae based on different parts of myself, trying to figure out who to be, and who is the best idol I can be. There's also my more bubbly side, Chocho-Chan. And my burning passion and more rebellious side, Kazane. But as for my real name... well..."
She looks around, at this marvelous magnificent mysterious place that makes her share a bond with Amelie. "This is a pretty big secret here, isn't it? I can share a much smaller secret. Outside of 'idoling', people call me Cho."
Hopefully, this doesn't spoil any illusions, especially for Ooi. Tsukiko really cares what she thinks and feels. She's never had a 'biggest fan' before, and she just seems so... sincere. It was nice. Luckily, she seems to be amazed by the gift of the Digital World, so maybe she won't mind her not really being named Tsukiko.

Was the place where she was born that amazing? In her experience, Japanese ranged from not minding foreigner to outright disdaining them. Something that made amazement a bit... flattering? Not like she had control over the place where her mother had chosen to deliver her or anything, but still.
The possibility of the Digital World being a thing all around to the world was an interesting proposition, yet one that ultimately didn't affect things as they were. Would asking every tamer around if they were foreigners in order to find that out worth it? Prooobably, not, even if it could be easily guessed that foreigners were a relative minority among the minority that were humans taking residence in the Digital World.
Tsukiko's, or rather... Cho's confession was something really heartwarming for both girl's, prompting a pair of smiles to spring on their faces as soon as it was finally revealed. Of course, Ooi was the one that reacted first, reaching out and trying to hug her new friend.
She had tears in her eyes, didn't she? "Cho-chan..." In all honesty, her idol confiding her with her true name made her feel grateful outside of what the reach of words could express. In a sense, it was like receiving a special gift.
This time, she didn't break out of it, holding the hug for what could be an awkward amount of time while Amy stared with a pretty dumb smile on her face. Those tender moments kinda made journeys worthwhile. And, in a sense, it made the brunette really question why Tsukiko Cho wasn't the target of Ooi's weird affection, rather than her.
Not like that mattered; they could take a small pause in here. Even in another word, friendship blooming like this was something exceptional and worthy of waiting, even if just a bit.

Tsukiko had let both of them know who she was. Well, at least her name, and her stage names, which was close, but even she didn't know who she was per se. Still, it was like baring an outer layer of her soul to them, sharing both secret knowledge of herself, and sharing this weird world with Ooi. And honestly, it did not feel too bad.
Especially as Ooi comes in for the hug. Tsukiko - no, Cho - accepts the hug and holds tight. "Ooi-chan... I'm glad you're happy... I was worried about sharing this... but I was worrying over nothing. You... you accept me?" There were tears in her eyes as well. Ooi was more than a fan; she was now a friend.
Tsukiko then looks over at Amelie. "Y-you..." she says happily yet emotionally. "You get over here." She lets go of Ooi, breaking the hug with one arm, but still holding her with the other. With her free arm, she beacons Amelie over to join for a group hug.

Honestly, the moment was as tender as it could be, that warming Amelie's heart as much as it could, despite her current status as a mere observer of Tsukiko Cho's and Ooi's exchange.
In which, right now, the shorter girl was supremely confused, and... just a little embarrassed, for some reason. "Wh-why I... wouldn't accept you?" She couldn't help to ask. "Y-You're my friend, Cho-chan. That's what friends do, right? A-Accept each other despite how they are."
Of course, things wouldn't end there. The brunette was surprised at the invitation she had gotten into the now group hug, yet she accepted it gladly. As strange as this was, and even if what triggered the situation had been something that probably hadn't been important for the vast majority of people... it was for them.
This would cement what seemed like a beautiful friendship between three very different people, and create the foundations of something as stalwart as it could be; right now, it seemed like not even the ravages of time or the harshest trials would break it.
And... deep inside, a certain person hoped with all her heart that would be the case.
If anything, this wasn't what neither teenager expected after meeting Tsukiko near the Train Station. It had been an interesting day, with the trio traversing Terminus and the two novices getting acquainted with a foreign world-
Regrettably, everything had to end, considering the sun was setting and it was time for both Amelie and Ooi to go back. The taller girl looked at Tsukiko, then gestured at the train station's direction.
"I'm gonna open a portal to the human world, but if you want to remain here for now, you should go there and take a Trailmon back to the human world. See ya later!"
After bidding goodbye, the described course of action would be executed. Time to go back home! [Exit]
