Luckily this little place didn't mind pets as long as they were clean and behaved, both of which holosuited Simba and Tohru were...mostly. At the least they were behaved and smart enough they didn't beg others for food, and why would they need to since the woman ordered them whatever they wanted anyway. "I never thought you humans to eat raw fish, I'm impressed!" The rabbit at first wasn't sure how to feel about the idea of mixing rice, seaweed, and fish but found that she enjoyed the rather unique flavor palate. "It's not totally raw, they cook it a little to kill the bacteria, but most of the time it's so cured that there's a low chance of you getting food poisoning." Simba was enjoying the experience too, especially the shrimp rolls! "Can I have more fatty tuna pretty please?!" This lunch treat was her way of making up for the fact she'd been working so much, what better way to apologize to her precious twins than with their favorite thing in the world, food? "And extra wasabi!"
"Of course! Are you two enjoying? This place has a great bottomless lunch deal, and I know we haven't gotten a chance to do fun stuff lately, but-" The apologized was quickly interrupted by two impeded mouths full of seafood quick to disregard the plea. "Don't be silly, work is important." And for once Simba seemed to agree with his sister on something. "Yeah! Besides without it, we'd never be able to have this delicious food." Well, that was a relief? Not that either of the twins really were the types to hold grudges, but it seemed the longer they knew one another, the more Talia worried and doubted that she was doing everything she could (and everything she shouldn't) to be a good tamer to these two. "Well, good! Eat up, you both deserve it!" "Yeah, but don't forget to eat too Talia." It was a fuel up before they were to meet up with the blonde's friend Isla who she had not seen in a while, in fact not since these little life changes had occurred, and she was all too excited to introduce her "pets" to the woman.
"Now remember, she doesn't know digimon exist, so as far as she knows you're just my rabbit and fox, so no talking, and no weird behavior or poses, that'll look suspicious." Tch, picky picky humans were, thought Tohru as they waited in the train station for their partners friend, they're practically afraid of their own shadows at times! Such a neurotic species.

It had been a while since Isla last had the chance to go to a restaurant of any kind for a meal, being constantly on the go with her camera like a weapon all the meals she had were quick to be done and on the go. So the whole mindset of making plans to meet one of her friends at a place where she could sit down and some-what relax (well the best she could with babysitting two snowballs). As she pressed against the door opening it a bell rang signalling to the front of house that someone was here to be seated.
Her arms were full with the two little balls and her camera around her neck, as someone came to get her seated she shook her head, "I'm here to meet a friend, I think she's already here," she gazed around the room and her eyes immediately caught to where Talia was sitting, "There she is, thank you though," she bowed to the woman as she tried to casually fast walk.
"Talia," She loud talked as she slipped into the other side of the table after ordering some simple duck sushi and 2 milkshakes for her and the pipsqueaks to share. "I'm Isla," She introduced herself simply as she put everything on the chair next to her, making sure it was safe before placing the 2 baby's in her bag, trying to pull it off like they were just plushes,

"Hiya Isla! Long time no see." It took a minute before Talia sort of stoically processed the fact she was carrying two digimon with her, which the blonde assumed she was posing as stuffed animals as did most people, but man it seemed like everyone she knew was being given a digipet, it was like the return of the Furby trend or something. "How's the photography world holding up? Our Art Director loved how the product shots out by the way." The girl, who had recently done some freelance work for the company was someone Talia met in her "other job", after receiving a message through her Bad Request's inbox that someone was plagiarizing her stuff on the internet. "Also, these two rugrats are Simba and Tohru, my newly adopted family members you could say! Sorry, I would have waited till you got here to order but they were hungry."
And how might one wonder had she put a stop to the plagiarizer? By place a bug on their computer so that any pictures not originally registered with their IP address was automatically watermarked with an big old "LOL I STOLE DIS" stamp in big red letters - a simple, but effective (and deliciously humiliating) solution nonetheless, that way they could never take credit for anyone's work again - heck maybe a little embarrassment could show them the error of their ways! See, there was that whole thing about being the bigger person, but the blonde programmer was a little bit too cynical to follow that, preferring to punish those she felt deserved it, especially those who wanted to take credit for someone else’s work - that was almost worse than cleaning out someone’s bank account if you asked her - at least money could be re-earned, a reputation and or portfolio was a little harder to replenish.

"The photography world has been going a treat, this is the first week I've had where I'm not running all over the place," she smiled slightly, though she was to blame for being busy all the time, Isla was very well known for running all over the city for shoots and didn't even 'specialize' in anything. "I love it though, I'm almost always booked up these days, I never thought it would end up being my job."
Isla gasped seeing the 2 animals by Talia's side, "Aren't you both adorable! If I knew you were bringing your pets I would have brought my dog with me," she leaned over and gave them both a small pet. "No worries, knowing me I was going to be late no matter what, and it wouldn't have been fair for you to wait."
"I still owe you for helping me out, if you need anything, anything at all just hit me up," she looked serious for a moment but lightened up as her own food came, "Thank you so much," she said to the waitress.
"Eep!"
A sound came from her bag, then another squeak.

“Sounds like me, but I’m booked up sitting at a computer all day. Busy is good though!” Having too much time on your hands was worse than being too occupied in her opinion. “Especially when you like your job, I feel like most people forget that it’s important to like what you do.” Otherwise what was the point of living? Life was too short to be miserable from nine to five, then again some people didn’t really have that choice. She wondered if Isla would do some pictures for the twins and herself, nice ones she could hang up in her office and have in case, or when (she didn’t really know) the twins went back to the digital world for good; it was a weird thing to think about but the cynical female just refused to believe the two of them would be with her for good, so why not keep the memories permanent with some nice photography?
“Heh, glad you get it - you know pets, they’re not exactly patient when it comes to food.” To be honest, she’d rather look rude then have to sit and listen to the two of them whining about how they were starving like they didn’t get fed every single day, sometimes five or ten times a day even - Simba could easily eat an entire rotisserie chicken by himself bones and all and possibly still be starving, and Tohru had a strange carnivorous like (and almost gross) obsession with red meat, particularly when it was barely cooked - that rabbit was definitely part dragon true and through. “Nah don’t worry about it, stopping plagiarists is just another part of the job. Boy do I have a client story for you though - it involves a divorcee who’s bank won’t-” The squeaking stopped the woman in her tracks, as it did the fox and rabbit, who seemed to glance over curiously at the bag the noise had come from, smelling the air a bit, pausing when they picked up the trail of the botamon twins, Simba and Tohru poking at Talia. “I told you guys, pet act- uhhh I mean, stop begging for food both of you!” The jig was up though wasn’t it? “But she has a digimooooon!”

Isla nodded in agreement, she loved everything about her job she didn't know what she would do if she lost the ability to be a photographer, its what her entire life revolved around. In fact it was the entire reason she moved to Japan. "Yeah I get that, I would be a wreck if I didn't have my camera, I live and breath photography," it was true, considering how well known she had become, in fact even some local museums had even reached out to her to display her photos.
At first when the squeaking started she tried to play it off like it was someone else's phone, she hadn't been out with the digimon before so it was a full experience and a half for her to even go outside. But the moment she knew Talia was aware something was up, her gut dropped. Seconds after that the squeaking got worse and she had to dive into the bag and separate the fighting yukibotamon. That was something she had to to a lot of recently, she wasn't sure why or when but at some point they stopped being 'best friends' and started getting on each others nerves constantly.
The one she scooped out the bag had a green ribbon around one of her ears and the moment it was aware Isla was holding her it starting crying.

Seeing the girl with the crying infant reminded Talia once again of the days when the twins were infants themselves and just how frustrating yet adorable they were. “Psst, they like when you stroke them behind the ears, it’s like their achilles heel.” The naughty little Pagumon who’d been partnerd to Carlos had unintentionally taught her that trick when she’d been able to win him over with cuddling. “Also food, it’s a great appeasement tool.” And while Talia was offering the advice, the holosuited Tohru had climbed over to stroke the smaller creature behind the ears to demonstrate just what the blonde meant.
“If you can’t tell by now, Tohru and Simba aren’t just your ordinary uhhh...pets.” The foxy Simba posed on his own chair like a small meerkat requesting more of his favorite fish to which Talia obliged. “Show off.” The holosuited dragon at his core was as innocent as a puppy but he was starting to realize how his cute face could get him free stuff, so why not use it? “Nah, I’m just that cute!” He waved his bushy tail, beginning to wash his face a little bit like a cat would, it was quite adorable actually. “One day though I’m going to see how well you can catch food and test out your reflexes!” And while a game like that would have been fun, this wasn’t exactly the place to do it, what with the other patrons occasionally glancing at them assuming yukimibotamon was simply a fussy baby, people always brought babies out to eat right?
And to try and catch the fox off guard, Talia subtly tossed a piece of fatty tuna towards the foxes mouth who of course swiftly caught and snapped it down so fast he bared savored the rich flavor of the fish.
