Action Behind the Curtain [Plot - Arc 3 Prelude]

Unlike with the last incident, what had transpired in the Northern Prominence hadn't traveled too far outside the walls of Luminas - officially speaking, only those that had been hired or directly involved knew about the full details of the incident. However, that was the merely the perception across the surface. What of the mercenaries that were involved? The report of that sudden storm, the presence of an enraged Crusadermon, a rampant Machinedramon, and even the appearance of an enhanced Raguelmon perked the curiosity of those around. Between curious onlookers and more knowledgeable forces, well, the 'secrets' behind what had happened wouldn't be secrets for long.

Participants in the last leg knew it very well, each of them either sought out or pursued for their mere involvement in the last event. Someone was pulling the strings behind the curtain, but who? Who hired for the mercenaries, who thought it necessary to send an assassin to the Library, and who thought it wise to try and seek out one of those very participants? These were the questions that floated about, but there wasn't time: Luminas would eventually find the position of the last two Effigies of the Sovereign - and if that was the case, perhaps the same events would repeat again.

But could that goal continue as it was? With the knowledge of an outside force, it seemed clear to some that Luminas' moves were already being closely observed. If that was the case, then perhaps it would be better to undercut both parties from the start.

Thus brings us to our next incident in the Folder Desert, regarding the dragon, Azulongmon. Of course, to take such a matter into one's own hand brought its own risk - and, perhaps, one's own selfish motive.
