The street-wise Ruki would be best described as ‘tough for the sake of being tough’ – particularly as she used this toughened personality to survive whilst on the streets. Her outward appearance, especially her facial expressions, are one of calm, composure and possibly robotic stoicism which leads her to appear withdrawn and silent.
To Ruki and being on the streets, showing emotion was showing weakness which led to trouble. After all, she had to protect her sister. On occasion, she can be slightly cold, sarcastic or cynical depending on the situation. One of Ruki’s main traits is her impulsive attitude and would likely be first to charge into battle, usually without a plan of attack, nor any strategy. While Ruki processes an odd instinctive and intuitive intelligence, it wouldn’t be considered a logical intelligence, more a mind that can leap to thoughts through impulse.
While in complete contrast, in the company of her sister, her personality basically inverts. Ruki is remarkably more friendly to the younger sister than to basically anyone else. This is mainly due to she is the only family, she has left. While her sister is a clumsy and slightly airheaded individual, which can become slightly exasperating to Ruki, her love remains true and constant. Also, to those few, she considers as “friends” – Ruki will also express a greater deal of kindness and warmth unbeknownst to most others. She also shows signs of depression on occasion, although she tries to hide it from her sister or those she cares about. Although, this behavior can lead to either one of two possibilities. She will either become even more impulsive and likely to act without thought or otherwise, to become further robotically sullen and withdrawn, again dependant on the situation. Overall, Ruki can be considered to be… intense at best.
Appearance:
Ruki is best known for having a nest of downy blue hair, which sticks up wildly and no matter how many times it is brushed, will remain just as messy as ever. Most of the time, she styles it into two pigtails held by yellow bands. The bangs remain long, reaching down to just above her eyes. All except for the middle portion which is the longest, hanging over her nose in an ‘x’ shape. Her eyes are a pale red, almost rose or pink in color. Her face is most expressionless and remains very passive, robotic and still. Except for her cheeks, which often glimmer with a light cherry blush.
Her clothing choice matches her style perfectly – with a yellow turtle-neck style jacket which falls to her hips. Under this, she wears a purple-blue and a rather tatty, old hoodie jacket. The hood of which is lined with a layer of white spines of material as well as similarly on the sleeves. Although, she tends to keep one of the sleeves rolled up. Under the jacket, she wears a pair of black shorts.

Personal History:
Ruki was born in Shibuya on 2nd of February in the slums of Shibuya. The following year, Ruki’s mother gave birth to a second child, Airi. However, due to some complications in the birth, in which the mother didn’t make it. Thus, leaving the father to take care of his two daughters. He continued to work but it was a low paying job.
Due to this, Ruki had much more to worry about. She had to spend hours and hours on the streets alone, trying to busk for money with an old electric guitar to earn enough money to help feed her father, herself and younger sister.
The small family of them survived on the streets for almost two years, using her father's low wages and what Ruki earned to buy food and sleeping in alleyways or on doorsteps. From the brisk heat of summer to the chilling winters, the two kept each other going with stories of what they would do when and if they had money.
Eventually, after two years, Ruki's father had enough scraped enough money together to buy a tiny, one bedroom apartment in the slums of Shibuya.
