Cat M.D.: I'll clean this one up later, but the Digital World's full of stuff that can make one quite sick if they aren't careful. Some common stuff to Digimon might not exactly be known to humans, so if you have any concerns, describe your situation here and I'll get back to ya!

ArchAngelYumiel: Oh! Mr. Mikemon! I have nothing, but I would be greatly interested in any data you have on digital diseases! Perhaps we could work together on some medicine or stuff like that!

The Biggest Well: I'm asking for a friend! Thanks for your service, Doctor Cat The Biggest Well: She's kinda feeling unwell. The Biggest Well: But, as far as I'm aware, the symptoms are... The Biggest Well: Slightly warmer body temperature every time I check it, rosy-red cheeks, slight personality changes and the occasional nosebleed. Hope it's nothing too bad, but I'm kinda concerned; she constantly tells me it's nothing, but I'm concerned. Any tips, Doc?

Cat M.D.: Of course! It'll be something I'll have to work adding to the library's logs.
Cat M.D.: Um... Just going to treat it like its serious. Cat M.D.: Head cold and dry weather? Flu? She usually get nosebleeds? Cat M.D.: Or is this something we should be discussing in PM, Amy.

The Biggest Well: It is serious! I'm really concerned! The Biggest Well: Also, um, do you know about Amy? The Biggest Well: Oh, you do! I just asked her! The Biggest Well: She told me to ask you how Syre is doing. Hope she's doing well! The Biggest Well: I'm her bestie, and usually go by Ooi. I kinda use her D-Terminal for this stuff every now and then; sorry for the misunderstanding! The Biggest Well: But, yeah. I don't mind taking this to PMs if needed. Is it that serious? I'm super worried.

Cat M.D.: Shoot, my bad then! Cat M.D.: Syre's doing fine - she's enjoying the small mission-guild work. Cat M.D.: And no, not serious at all, unless the nosebleeds are going on for more than ten minutes at a time. Cat M.D.: Nosebleed makes me think its related to 'Spirit Dissonance' - minor case of a Spirit Wielders' spirit not settling in properly with a human core. If she otherwise doesn't feel sick, that should be it...
Spirit Dissonance - Any number of symptoms experienced after initial or long periods of spirit evolution. Symptoms can vary (generally dealing with cranial discomfort), but generally reduce naturally over time. Prescription medication only recommended in severe reactions.

The Biggest Well: She says she's happy for Syre! And also told me to tell you to tell her she'll get "a visit from her favorite aunt" once she feels a bit better! The Biggest Well: Phew, that's a relief. I'm glad it's really not serious, even though the whole Spirit User stuff is a bit scary. I'll tell her to rest and drink water; she probably has been overworking herself a bit, too. The Biggest Well: Hopefully this will teach her when to stop. The Biggest Well: Thank you very much, Doctor Cat!

Cat M.D.: Sounds good! Just remember - its pretty much a headache. Though if its like a day flu or something hydration's good. Cat M.D.: Syre says hi! Wants to try making sugar cookies again, last ones worked out well!

Red Sun: Hello Dr, this is not an illness but would you know of any tips for incomplete shedding for insect digimon? Red Sun: It's always been a problem but lately it's gotten worse. Red Sun: If you had any idea what could help, I'd really appreciate it.

Cat M.D.: If you mean that the molting process stops halfway, that's generally a sign that its been too long since the last molt. Cat M.D.: Its common to see in insect Digimon that have recently moved into cities. If you do know that you've been 'behind schedule', running the shell through an abrasive will help stiffen it up. Cat M.D.: But the best thing I can recommend is to simply adopt a better schedule. It varies by species and size. See attached for a reference chart...

Red Sun: Thanks! The reference chart is very helpful. Red Sun: Strange thing is, I don't think I've been behind schedule. Red Sun: I don't live in a city, either. Red Sun: It just tends to get worse around this time of year. Red Sun: Or maybe I've just been spending too much time working in the Dark Area Red Sun: I'll definitely try the abrasives though! I'll have to pick it up next time I visit the city. Red Sun: Are there any materials in particular that would be good? Or will any do?

Cat M.D.: Its unsurprising, at least. Seasonal effects can get to insect types sometimes. Cat M.D.: Especially if they are traveling around to new areas! Different humidity, different temperature? All of that can get to the shell. Cat M.D.: Its a common-enough problem that you should be able to find something via a pharmacy. Sandpaper will do in a pinch but can cause irritation problems; the pads offered over the counter are generally the best bet.

Red Sun: Maybe. The Dark Area is quite dry Red Sun: Cold, too Red Sun: I admit I've never liked the cold Red Sun: I'll have to schedule a visit to Terminus when I have a moment Red Sun: The pads sound good. Thank you, Cat M.D. Red Sun: You've saved me a lot of embarrassment!

CrystalClear: Mister, I wanted to know about Spirit Wielders. Is there anything we should be careful of? I spend most of my day as my human-hybrid or sprite-hybrid usually... Is that bad?
CrystalClear: Is it also normal for your spirits to... whisper?

Cat M.D.: All in a day's work! Let me know if anything else comes up! Cat M.D.: Well, there's certainly aspects to be aware of... Cat M.D.: Though its perfectly normal to hear your spirits to whisper. Most do, actually - they are the embodiment of digimon from ancient years past. Cat M.D.: That said, spirits have two means of manifestation - through the use of a D-Tector, or through the full control and possession of a host... Cat M.D.: ... And those aren't always mutually exclusive. In short, it depends on the personality of the spirit and your willingness to work with it. Cat M.D.: If you're friends who have reached an understanding, then great, you can probably spend ample idle time in the form. If the spirit is silent to you or something seems off, just use it for battle. Cat M.D.: In either case, take an hour break every two hours, at the very least.
