The bustle of terminus was something most would understand, the absolute neccesitiy of interaction among a massive populace. Because of the size of the city there was always traffic of all sorts; coming going and in buckets upon buckets of each. Some would be coming from other cities, other places, some would be going to those cities or places. Others would be stepping into the human world for the first time or coming from it to see their adventure on once more.
Many of these reasons would help this particular group of individuals find a particular Aegisdramon in a very particular location that was given out to only a few souls other than those that were on board.
No proper arrival time was ever listed for this group but that didn't matter. They could come as they pleased, go as they pleased up until all of them were here. The Aegisdramon would of course be on standby the whole time, his engines primed and massive armored body ready to take off whenever they were all in one place.
The only thing each individual approaching this Aegisdramon would get would be a steely glare as his entry plank retracted in suspicion. Massive blue eyes running over any body that decided to step foot in this particular port. They weren't taking any chances and this wasn't a normal Icy Fate flight so any individuals that bore the Icy Fate logo would find themselves turned away. Even if they had been here before, they would still get the same steely eyes and same gravely voice.
"Mission Pass."

A mousy brown haired young woman with glasses was the first to approach the Aegisdramon followed closely behind by a Biomon that hummed and hovered at her back. The large armored transport digimon's voice would seem to startle the girl who appeared briefly lost in her own thoughts before she blinked chocolate brown eyes up at the Digimon and fumbled for her mission pass. "Oh! One second! It's here somewhere~" She murmured digging through the messenger bag hanging loosely from her side for the item in question revealing the green medics cross stitched onto a white armband pinned to her arm in the process. "Ah-ha!" The Woman cried out in victory proffering the requested pass. "EMS Alexandria Tiber reporting for duty along with my partner Troy." Alex quipped jerking a thumb over her shoulder at the Biomon behind her who simply quietly inclined his head. "We're here to provide medical support for the team." She explained lifting a hand to brush a few stray hairs from her face before adjusting her glasses appearing fidgety and excited, but proud to have been chosen.

Back here again?
Back here again. Though it had been a few months, it felt like hardly any time at all had passed since their first foray into the frozen north, to challenge the Spire and the Jesmon atop the Frozen Mausoleum. The second job hadn't really caught either of their attention - inside the Mausoleum, without a natural source of light, it would have been difficult to use Iko's ability properly. This one, however, seemed far more interesting - especially with the group meeting all the way out in Terminus.
"Being very careful, aren't we?" The champion-level Ankomon moved quickly through the bustle of the crowd, towards the port that they were scheduled to depart from. There wasn't anyone from the Order to greet them - well, aside from the Aegisdramon itself, asking the pair for a mission pass. This made sense, especially out in the city, and Luke didn't take long to show his credentials:
A pass for the mission, and an identifier on his D-Arc noting his accreditation in the mission guild. "Luke Destro, and my partner, Iko." Largely following Alexandria's lead, the college student gave a nod, Iko following up: "Providing muscle. Let's see... medic's here, so that leaves the... cockroach-cat, right?"
"Iko, just try and get along, will ya..."

"W-Wait! We're here too! We're here too!" a frantic voice called out to the two tamers and Digimon, easily hearable by anyone who was even remotely paying attention. All it would take would be a simple turn of the head to catch a black-haired girl running towards the group, a Meicoomon in her arms that looked... very passive to say the least.
She hoped they weren't late or anything... She had overslept earlier today, it having been a late shift at the grocery store she worked at the night before. Good thing Tawna was there to get her up, but then again the feline was also prone to sleeping too much as well. She didn't want to miss this though... She knew this was going to be a very important job the moment they got the memo about it, and perhaps a bit controversial to... but she saw what happened down there in that mausoleum.
Every awful thing down there.
The girl was quick to approach the woman with the Biomon and the young man with the unknown lupine Digimon, taking a moment to catch here breath as she dug into her utility belt to pull out her D-Arc. "... H-Haru Toriya. My partner here is Tawna." she wheezed briefly, setting Tawna down as the Meicoomon briefly groomed herself.
"I don't think we need to discuss why we're all here... because I believe we do." the Champion level calmly as she sat on all fours, she gazing briefly at miss Alexandria... a quizzical look on the Meicoomon's face as their nose twitched... for a moment unsure if her senses were betraying her. "...? Have we met before?"

The aegisdramon was the patient sort his blue eyes flicking from the first arrival's face to the required pass. There was a small frown and the digimon leaned down to inspect the pass; it was certainly legit but he wouldn't lie. He wasn't expecting someone of this variety; didn't they look too.. chipper? He had expected a more dour individual honestly. Shrugging their massive shoulders the Aegisdramon would of started to lower the boarding plank if it was not for the arrival of the next pair.
"Good to have you.
The pass was offered along with the name; these two he had heard about if only in passing. Most individuals capable of mega or super mega were people you'd hear about in some regard or another. Among the icy fate? He was better known for fighting a jesmon atop the Mausoleum a good while ago.
"I've heard about you two, fought the Jesmon right? Cockroach-cat?"
Massive metal brows came together in confusion but it quickly jerked to look towards the frantic voice. Those massive blue eyes locking onto the two new arrivals. A Tamer and their... Meicoomon. With a dissatisfied sound the Airship type digimon shifted to look at that D-arc.
"Part of the last group of that incident eh? Well everything's matching to what I was told. Get on. We'll be taking off in five."
The airship digimon looked over the group and lowered his boarding plank for the group to get on. At the top of it was a mechanical door that would quickly open to reveal an somewhat luxurious entry room. Diamond like chandeliers hung from the ceiling, gorgeous mahogany esq wood lined the wall and gold like accents touched up everywhere. There were coat hangers as well as some sort of digital docking unit for individuals interested in housing their digivices here. A single holographic head would flicker under one of the chandeliers.
"Commander Gunther is in the briefing room, take the hall to your left and go down the elevator to B-5. Brother Wilt and Brother Elbert are with him."
There was a small pause and the digimon sighed; the holographic head vanished and the lights down the 'suggested' hall lit up to help the group along.
"My name is Anton. I'll be providing you service for up to the next two weeks."

Alex would blink and hold still for the inspection before stashing her mission pass away once more ignoring the odd look in the Aegisdramon's eyes as she glanced over at the latest newcomer. "Cockroach cat?" She asked quizzically greeting Iko and Luke with a nod of her head as she echoed Aegisdramon's own question. Only to have it quickly answered at the arrival of Haru and Tawna.
"Ohhhh cockroach cat. That makes sense." The young woman murmured softly the Biomon behind her turning to examine the Tamer and feline Digimon with interest.
"Meicoomons are known for being able to take an unusually high amount of damage for their levels." Troy intoned his words clinical, but polite as Alex nodded in agreement before blinking down at Tawna.
"No I don't think so...? Though maybe you've met a few of my mentors. I did an internship with a few of the various digital doctors around." She chirped flashing the little Digimon a smile before the lowering of the ramp caught the flighty and easily distracted medics attention once more.
"Wow didn't realize we were flying first class." Alex murmured as the entryway was revealed to them, the group being further shuffled off down the hall. Despite appearing rather impressed it was clear from the way the woman was very careful not to touch anything that she wasn't entirely comfortable with such pomp and circumstance.

Yup. Cockroach cat. Iko simply gave a nod towards Alex as it finally clicked, giving a wave over towards the rushing tamer. "No need for all that, not like we're going to take off without you two."
No, they weren't late at all, though they were definitely about to cross the line. As the Meicoomon was set down, Luke extended out his hand for a handshake. "Name's Luke. Partner over there is Iko - though I'm sure we'll have time to talk later." No matter how fast this vessel was, their objective was all the way over in the frozen north.
"Hm? Oh, yes, we were part of the first group." Giving an idle nod to the Aegisdramon, Iko stepped back as the hatch hissed open - revealing a rather grandiose entrance. It didn't take long for both the wolf and the tamer to enter, the Ankomon's ear flicking at the holographic display.
"... Gunther?" "Elbert?"
It seemed the pair was unfamiliar with these two. Still, they simply passed that off with a shrug, and called for the elevator - Luke holding the door open as Iko tapped the button for the lower floor, once it came. "Two weeks, huh?" The wolf almost seemed confused - did the mission objectives really call for such a long timeframe?

"... You could say we we have nine lives." the Meicoomon somewhat dryly commented in regards to the Biomon's comment about her kind, a hint of playful snark to their voice. That and her species were considered a pest, but she figured that was just him being polite. Hey, at least they were trying to act polite in front of her... Some people just straight up skip to the verbal jabs. They did however raise an eyebrow to Alexandria's comment... somewhat getting the feeling they were being played for a fool in some regard. Then again, it could have been just her imagination... Humans all smelled pretty similar to her. "Apologies. Was somewhat rude for me to ask." the feline softly apologized as she eyed Haru shaking hands with Luke.
Honestly, even these days Haru was still somewhat intimidated by large Digimon like the Aegisdramon here. You just sorta got acquainted to what felt like a Mega level or Super Mega... and Aegisdramon definitely had the look of one. "Y-yup, that was us." the girl was quick to speak, nodding in regards to she and her partner's involvement in the prior mission.
It didn't take long for they to be all hustled along inside, Haru actually caught off-guard by the interior. Here she was just thinking that it'd be like an airplane, but this was far more grandiose than any she has ever been on... Icy Fate really knew how to bling their stuff out it seemed! "I don't know too much about Elbert, but Gunther was frozen in the mausoleum the Icy Fate owned at the Northern Prominence. He was down there for probably centuries before we came along." Haru briefly touched on Luke's confusion, though she did seem pleasantly surprised that Gunther was a General now it seemed. It has been a while since they last saw him, but it was great to see that he mad a full recovery it seems! She stayed close to the others as her partner trailed behind her.

The Aegisdramon seemed rather amused to say the least with the reactions he garnered from the group entering inside. One way or another people never really expected it. But honestly as far as things went? He was always flying luminas dignitaries or terminus high class individuals; it was part of the reason why his interior was so well maintained and designed... well glamoured might be a better word for it realistically but it didn't stop the truth that this Aegisdramon was well off on his own. There was a somewhat amused chuckle that reverberated throughout the 'ship'.
"Thought as much, Wilt was pleased to say the least when he saw you two sign up. It's nice knowing that two out of three parties have worked with them before, it'll make this transition so much smoother."
Pleased was an understatement, knowing that if push came to shove that the two could handle themselves against a jesmon of all things made him practically flip when he saw their names pop up in the mission dossier.
"I heard about the prior mission if only briefly, Gunther wasn't exactly the chattiest about it. Can't really blame him."
Even without the holographic display it seemed as though the Aegisdramon was completely aware of what was going on inside of him. It only made sense right? There was a distinct pause and elevator started up once the entire group was in.
"Two weeks is what I'm assigned for, whether or not that is your actual mission time is whole up to you. But considering the payment alloted to me from this particular group I'd be willing to work for much longer. Secrecy has it's own price and they were willing to pay much more than those luminas twats were."
Not even a second later did the elevator open up to a marvelously technologically advanced room. Row after row of terminals, logistic counters and diagnostics lined the wall. In the center a massive map of the digital world was displayed in the center of the world. Everything from air currents to known threats to this particular group was listed. Amusingly a huge red X was over the Dark area with the label 'Red Plague'. Several other locations were marked with more trivial things like 'anti-air', 'Black-Towers' or bandits.
Standing behind the map, studying it somewhat intensely was the same anemic looking MagnaAngemon. Though in comparison to the tape and the last time that Haru would of seen him... He was looking much better than before. He had filled out somewhat; his muscles and body had for the most part filled out his armor. The only piece he wasn't wearing at the moment was his helmet which allowed the group to see his somewhat glowing golden eyes. Raw with power this MagnaAngemon's very presence demanded respect but in equal part it would be given.
However his eyes that were for the most part hard and dedicated to their inspection of the information softened considerably when the group arrived. He was quick to give them attention; speaking plainly to each member. First to be addressed of course would be Alex; who unsurprisingly would get a handshake if so allowed.
"My name is Gunther. Alex correct? A medic of all things will make this easier thank you for coming. Hopefully you won't have to do your job too much."
There was a somewhat bemused chuckle and he gave the biomon a respectful pat on the head if allowed. He had hardy respect for tamers and their digimon knowing that they were for the most part one of the most prominent forces in the digital world today. His golden eyes locked onto Luke and Iko. A handshake for each of them would of course be the first thing followed by a wry grin.
"As you heard, My name is Gunther. Luke and Iko right? Heard a lot about you two from Wilt. Capable individuals that I'm glad that are here. Anyone that can fight a Jesmon on equal terms is someone I can respect. I appreciate you two taking the time to come here."
The somewhat cheerful look blossomed into a full blown smile and haru would find herself given a hug [along with tawna if she so allowed it]. Almost a bear hug in fashions though he would quickly compose himself and cough awkwardly.
"It's good to see you two again. I never really got to say thank you for the Mausoleum. So after all of this you best expect at least one banquet. I hear you cats have quite the appetite too; any particular dish you'd prefer?"
The MagnaAngemon was very thankful for being able to get out of the Mausoleum and he was damn well sure going to make sure that everyone that helped him back then was going to get something... If only he could find that cat doctor and demon that helped him out too! The angel's smile shifted into a more serious look and he'd go back to where he was standing before, swiping the map to make it focus in on their 'arrival' objective.
Distantly engines wound up and a blaring red notification popped up on one of the terminals. Three others also read out easily recognizable text.
"WEAPONS ACTIVE"
"CLOAK ENGAGED"
"SECONDARY THRUSTERS PRIMED"
The sudden take off was enough to make Gunther dip a little bit and he'd frown slightly before gesturing at the map. The particular area that they were looking at was about twelve or so Kilometers in size. It was a large floating piece of what looked very similar to Luminas but marginally smaller than the impressively massive floating city.
"This. This is the Fortress of Icy Fate, our headquarters to the north. This will be where most if not all of our mission is going to take place. I'd like to take the next hour to go over the basics of what we're going to try to do. Any additional planning will be done at the six of your behest. First and foremost, place your digivices into the panels in front of you. Anton has information about the Fortress in both a logistical and tactical sense. It's not complete but that'll fill out on it's own. Additionally if you don't have a scanner or if you do this will enhance it in some variety. Allowing you to scan much more quickly than before along with larger areas. If you've already got an upgrade like that don't worry. It'll be additive."
The angel leaned on the counter and swiped the map again breaking it down into three very much so impressive zones.
"Civilian Sector is the largest. Mostly farm land and houses for them. Everyone there is Icy fate in some way or another. Anyone wearing a green bandana is an ally here. If you hear the term 'Icy Sun' it's code for 'friendly'. If you have doubt ask them about the sunrise and they'll tell you about it."
The offered segment would bleed red for a moment before switching to the next much smaller segment.
"This is the Trade sector, where you six will be dropped off to and infiltrate the rest of the Fortress. From here you will have rooms, they've already been paid for and people have been made mum about your 'being' there. We have some of the guards in on this too and they'll be making sure their routes are the ones covering the Inn you will be staying at."
The next swipe brought the fortress which unsurprisingly bleed out into several segments on it's own. Well over thirty levels. Fifteen above and fifteen below though the segment below looked very strange. Past that there wasn't much actual information displayed.
"This is where your targets will reside. Twelve Mega level guards, all with their own skills and personalities. Six of them are absolutely loyal to Logane and the other six are somewhat on the fence. Logane himself is somewhere in there too. From what we know they have a lab, armory, food stock and a prison cells somewhere in the fifteen sub floors."
He'd look up at the group after dumping this bout of information on them.
"Questions. Concerns, ideas. Talk, we've got time."

"It's fine. You aren't being rude at all. I'm Alex by the way and my partner is Troy. I'm sure that our paths have crossed before somewhere or another." The Medic quipped flashing Haru and Tawna a smile as they went through their personal introductions. The mere hint the only telltale lead the Doctor felt comfortable letting slip with the group heading into imminent Luminas run space. As the elevator descended Alex was content to fall asleep shyly adjusting her glasses as the group stepped out her gaze dropping to the floor as she would offer a meek greeting to the MagnaAngemon in question.
"Thank you. I hope my skills are not needed, but I will be on hand to provide whatever support I can." Alex murmured looking up for a brief moment as Troy, the Biomon, remained still for Gunther's pet with only a mild world weary sigh.
"We are at your service." Troy spoke his voice only a little grudging in it's professionalism at the MagnaAngemon treating him not unlike a pet rather then the medical assistant he was. Still the pair were happy to fade into the background as the rest of introductions were made. Alex herself feigning shyness though the Doctor was somewhat feeling the wear and tear of the forced cheer of her disguise. Still she would listen quietly examining the map with a thoughtful expression as she placed her own digivice into the area indicated and tried not to flinch at the brief separation.
"Do we know of any vents, back entrances, or service entrances to the fortress? Likewise how do the guards managed to get through security? Are there keycodes or cards?" Alex questioned softly with the slightest tilt of her head.

Oh great - this ship was a talker? Feeling the vibration both in his feet and his head, Iko gave a slight wince, his ear flicking as the Aegisdramon started to speak. The comment itself earned a nod - even if Iko wasn't exactly sure the Aegisdramon could see it.
"So two or more weeks?" Saying that more to himself at this point, the wolf just let it off with a shrug. They were there for the long haul. Heck, if anything, it meant that the wolf could design a much more solid plan than simply 'rush the statue'.
Soon enough, the group as a whole would find themselves in what could be called a war room. The sheer amount of detail around them perked both the tamer's and the Digimon's interest, Luke's eyes caught on the technical display and Iko's over the world map. He would have scoffed at that mark over the Dark Area before, but considering the D-Reaper, he wasn't about to argue the angels' point.
Speaking of, Gunther soon addressed the group, Iko and Luke returning their respective handshakes. At the compliment, though, the tamer gave a chuckle: "I mean, we had help. Even if it was Iko's plan, he was only about a third of the muscle-"
"Any time, Gunther." More directly returning the angel's compliment, a confident handshake was given with a nod. To the comment towards Haru and Tawna, he added a chuckle: "I wouldn't turn it down, they do treat well for the work."
Past that, it seemed that they would soon be on track: on their way towards the 'Fortress of the Icy Fate'. Taking a look at the projected map, Iko kept his ears open as Luke rested his Digivice on the panel. The map itself was fairly simple:
A residential sector, a market sector, and a 'Fortress', each with their own layout and complexity. Iko's eyes quickly found themselves flicking through the information, incomplete as it was. One thing did catch his ears:
"Prison Cells? So it would make sense that one of the guards is a CrystalMancer..." He sighed. "But why would Logane need personal prison cells? Luminas has entire islands dedicated to the task - and even on top of that, holding them in the Fortress itself seems risky."
"Might be why we have two weeks to try and figure this out?" Mulling it over, Luke made his own request: "Can you get everything you just showed us in a binder? I know Iko would prefer to mark up a map rather than try and piece it together in his head."
"To what extent do the civilians know? Do they know our identity or just the objective - how do we signal to them that we are who we say we are?"

If there was one thing that seemed to be clear, it was this job wasn't just going to be a simple run-and-gun that they'd be able to do quickly... Especially if they were being given this much time to dance about. Haru had to remind herself... this was an assassination. There was just no other way to look at it... but at least it was for a good cause, right? Haru tried to remind herself of that as the group went up the elevator... Arriving at what was clearly the heart of this operation.
There was something wonderful about seeing that familiar MagnaAngemon having recovered... though she didn't have too much time to think before she and Tawna were squeezed tightly by the angel in a bear hug. Fortunately, she was spared from it after a few second; the girl catching her breath as she let out a plucky laugh. "Its great to see you again, Gunther! You don't have to thank us... I hope your well! H-Have any of your comrades been reborn?" the girl awkwardly asked, hoping that perhaps their efforts back there in the Mausoleum had seen some dividends. Dozens of Digimon... All frozen to death in an untimely manner. It was unfortunate that they had to shatter them all besides Gunther, but it meant they were all freed... at least in some capacity.
Tawna while was a bit more reserved, it wasn't hard to hear the feline purr affectionately despite their mute face... a very slight curved smile forming at the mention of food. "Could really go for some steak... You can't go wrong with meat." they mused... but more important matters were to be discussed.
Their destination was a large one... An inveritable haven from which they would all have to navigate and infiltrate into. Haru did not waste time placing her D-Arc in one of the panels when prompted, her attention directed to the locales of the fortress. Where the civillians were the area discussed, though it was likely to not be the primary locale they would all focus their attention. "I'd guess we should try to visit the Civilian sector while we're there, just so we can act natural... right? Trust the green bandanas, but be careful bout anyone else?"
To Tawna, that seemed ideal... It seemed they would initially be undercover so as to not draw suspicion. The Trade sector would be where they would be dropped off, but they had to figure out their game plan in regards to how they would approach this raid. "Preferably, I would assume we need to try and sleuth out the best possible route and attempt to convince the guards whom are on the fence. If we are to make this operation a success, we'd have to do it without Logane's forces knowing our true intentions and carry out the assassinations in a very quick manner." the Meicoomon mused, trying to at least get a grasp on what they would need to do. "Information about whom all our targets are is vital than... Whom would be the easiest to convince, and how we'd do so."
Haru nodded in response to her partner. She at heart hated violence, but knew it was necessary sometimes... If they could try to get the guards whom were a bit more wishy-washy about Logane on their side, things might go a bit more smoothly? "I kinda do want to know what the Icy Fate has been like recently... From what we saw with miss Chalice's ordeal, I don't think Logane is a very... nice man. Does he know that Chalice has kinda gone awol?"

"Honestly having a medic pairing is very re-assuring you have no idea."
The magnaangemon let out a small sigh and shook his head. He didn't like the idea of having to force a medic to fight alongside with what were the more actual contenders but he wasn't going to be allowed the choice honestly. Once they were fighting there wasn't really a chance to pull back he felt.
"There is a small amount of Ventilation. Two side entrances and a service entry for servants. As for how guards get through security it's a mix of visual and time frames. Arrivals from the service and security sides are on a strict time lock. Anything outside of it well... They don't take too kindly to deviation. I'm fairly sure there aren't key-codes or cards but that's something that can be learned of once on the ground."
Gunther waved his hand and the locations of the explained areas popped up in a red on the centerpiece of the fortress while the castle itself dimmed out to a hollow teal. He'd rotate it a few times and gesture at the locations.
"Even if you were 'a third of the muscle' that still means quite a bit."
The MagnaAngemon scratched his head and stared up at the map as the lit up areas from earlier slowly weened into the same coloration as the overall fortress.
"Probably something similar to Chalice; not the same story as they'd be in the heart of the operation rather than the.. far reaches I suppose. As for why he'd need a personal prison? Likely to feed into the lab. And would be able to quietly get rid of anyone that causes trouble. So they aren't held for too long."
The Angel shifted as Luke and iko bombarded him with questions. Giving a hearty chuckle he'd flip the display around a few times and dip his head in a nod.
"I can get Anton to print it off, it'll be quite hefty I imagine. And yes that's part of the reason why you have so long; longer if needed. I don't really have a shortage of finances thanks to a few... surprising turn of events."
The angel shook his head just a little bit more.
"Anton. Start printing out the schematics and breakdown of the fortress in Luke's and Iko's room please."
"Already on it."
The speed of the reply made something incredibly obvious; that the Airship was still listening in to what was going on. After all he needed to know when to do pick ups or when to work with the group that was currently in his heart.
"They know that a coup d'etat is going to occur. They know that it's going to remove logane and his forces from power. A large amount of them are for it with only a small amount of them are against it but they're choosing to remain quiet due to the overwhelming support of it civilian side. They don't know your identities but that question from earlier should do more than enough. Asking about the sunrise will prompt any green bandanna wearing individual to know that you're part of the group."
To say the least the reaction that he got from the hug to Tawna and Haru was not terribly surprising. Though the query about his comrades ended up getting a small somewhat soft sigh from the angel.
"I'm doing better than last time I'll tell you that ahah. From what I've gathered only three have surfaced. An Devimon, a Agumon and a Gazimon. Probably will be the only ones to do so, but here's hoping. Won't be hard to get some steak trust me; especially if everything goes accordingly."
The MagnaAngemon spun the hologram around and frowned slightly. The civilian sector popping out a little bit now that it was being addressed.
"For simplicity sake yes. Visiting that locale will help with the 'acting' part. I'd say be careful about everyone even if they have a green bandanna I wouldn't trust them immediately out of the gate. I can't say if all of them are really on board or not; or if one or two of the ones that are against this whole thing got their hands on one of them."
The magnaangemon turned his head to look at Tawna and dipped his head in a nod as she spoke. She picked up on this pretty quickly didn't she?
"Exactly. And unfortunately I can't really help with most of this; past passing information to you all during the night. The faster you're able to gather information and the faster you're able to act on it the better but... Just be damn careful. This will be incredibly dicey."
The angel paused however when asked about who would be the easiest to convince along with how they'd do so. The lights flickered for a moment as there was a throaty chuckle from the Aegisdramon.
"Asking the hard questions this one..."
"From what I can gather... These six would be the ones to convince."
After a few moments the holographic display shifted to six prominent digimon. A Mastemon wearing a labcoat, An Elderly Anubismon, A Somewhat crazed looking Minervamon, A Justimon with a small right arm, A Moon=Millenniummon with a swath of books hovering around it, and a WarGreymon with a lone bandage over his eyes. The angel was going to speak but then of course Haru asked a pretty loaded question. The Angel sighed again and shook his head.
"From what I gathered it's been incredibly peaceful, most of our forces are spread out across the digital world doing missions and the like. Checking up on places we've sworn to protect. But there's a lot of things that don't add up, mons going missing people that speak out getting killed in action... so on and so forth and The thing is that the Chalice incident wasn't normal for him or anyone involved. He was a good man, but not a man you want in a leadership position. As for that? I don't know. I don't think so but that's... uncertain."
Gunther turned and gestured to the digimon still on display; his eyes locking onto the mastemon.
"From what I asked Chalice, the little bit of information she was able to give me is that there is ANOTHER Chalice at the core of the operation. If they fall into the same pattern as She does they'll be swayed by research material; protection from luminas intervention and such. A lot of promises that could be easily kept once the Coup' was done."
The next mon that he gestured to would be the Anubismon.
"This is Cleo, he's a original Icy fate member and was actually the tutor to many Icy Fate members. Knowing him he wouldn't stand for what the Icy fate has become under the table and would be fully for removing Logane from power. It'd just be getting into contact with Cleo would be the hard part. But I bet some of the civilians could help with that if he's anything like he used to be. Man always did like his liquor too."
There was an earnest sigh and the Angel leaned on the holographic display's side gesturing somewhat meekly to the Minervamon.
"This? This is Gale. She is an absolute monster by any ones standards, she fights like one, boasts like one and.. well. She's pretty one track minded; get her to agree and go with you and she'll be on board till she gets ousted. Mind you she has a nasty habit of loading mons and that is NOT something I want to happen here."
The angel scrolled to the next individual, the Justimon.
"This is Carter. He's... an Enigma. He comes and goes as he pleases as he always has done. He's been around for longer than Cleo has. He doesn't talk, he doesn't really do much other than show up when called for. The chances of seeing him are abysmal but there's a solid chance that he's somewhere on the island simply waiting. From the very little I know of him he used to be a tamer's mon and harbors a soft spot for Humans. So there's... a little bit of leeway there but I wouldn't press your luck if he doesn't... agree."
The next individual that the Angel scrolled to got an honest to god frown on his face followed with probably the most loaded sigh anyone could possibly give. For a Moon=Millenniumon this individual certainly was not liked by Gunther.
"This. Ugh... As much as I loathe him, as much as I despise him in every way shape and form. He's much like me and Logane but prefers to stay in his damn library. He doesn't really have a name, but as long as I've known him he's gone by Moon. He's very book central, loves to read and is fiercely protective of citzens. For whatever ungodly reason I think he thinks of them as a collection of sorts. He's... not very nice; he's very incredibly direct and... has been this way for as long as I remember. I doubt he's changed at all since I last saw him."
The final mon was quickly and quietly brought to the center of the group. A particular WarGreymon with that bandage over his eyes.
"Out of the Six that would stand by us rather than logane this is the only one I really don't know much about. But from what Wilt told me he's... Very trustworthy. Blinded himself so he wouldn't have to see the world as it is and simply as it could be. He's well versed in human culture and because of that chose a Human name. Or what I presume is a Human name? Lancelot I think it was."
There was a brief pause and the Angel shook his head.
"Other than that, there's swaths of regular guards, Civilians, traders and the like that would likely be helpful in some capacity to finding the aforementioned six. Anton?"
Instead of the full hearty rumble a simple holographic head popped up in the display with a chuckle.
"All right, so from before I said that this would take up to two weeks or whatever. But that timeframe is really up to you. It can take longer or shorter and because of how much gunther is paying me I can provide fire-support. All the information that we've gone over thus far has been transferred to your digivices along with paper-copies in each of your rooms. In each of your digivice I've given you a beacon; it's much like a human grenade and when thrown it'll send a signal to me for me to do a long range bombardment of the area. So make DAMN WELL SURE that you aren't ANYWHERE near it."
Gunther let out an earnest sigh and leaned back rubbing his neck after a few moments.
"Wilt and Elbert will also be partaking in this mission, they're already on the fortress themselves. Part of the reason why you all have rooms and have the green bandannas. Any more questions?"

That was definitely a thorough start.
Promises of a printed map aside (to which Iko gave a very thankful nod, addressing both Gunther and Anton), it seemed that Gunther was very well versed in the situation at hand - both hopeful and cautious towards this entire operation. "Chalice... I'm unfamiliar, but it can't be all that different than Luminas' use of crystals as a whole. Golems, imprisonment, prisms for light-based attacks... tch. But in that case its not even a 'jail', its just a 'dungeon'."
"Something like this can only come along if both entrances and exits to the island itself are highly regulated." Luke added his own point, asking Gunther to clarify: "I take it once we set foot on the island, we're there until the mission is over? In that case, we should probably use fake names?"
It was a thought, but perhaps their reputation as 'Heroes of the Icy Fate' ruined any chance of that actually being a reality. From there, there was a bit of an aside between Gunther and Haru that Iko nor Luke understood - that being about the others frozen in the depths of the Mausoleum - but they'd soon reach another interesting topic: the potential defectors. Interestingly, the crystalmancer herself was one of the potential targets - not something that Iko suspected - but he did give a word of warning:
"Someone as critical as that Mastemon might not be the best choice. If she gives signs she's defecting, she's the most likely to be observed and unintentionally give a signal that something is going wrong. Actually, that's an overall caution: even if you manage to convince any of them, do not divulge specific details about your allies, friends, or plans. We should minimize our overall risk when dealing with these six."
Past that, Iko listened to the descriptions of the six as a whole, and briefly thought it over. "... Of the six, I'd personally like to try and talk to Cleo. It sounds like Gale, Moon, and Chalice are easy enough to flip sides, though I personally wouldn't risk 'Lancelot' or 'Gale' under any circumstance. As for Carter, flippant is as flippant does - even if we convince him, a good enough bribe will probably flip him back to the other side."
Crude tone, but it was about as much as Iko could figure from Gunther's honest description. Once more, Anton would pop up, explaining the situation once more - and giving them advance knowledge of the 'grenade beacon'. Thinking it through again, Iko had one more question - and one more request.
"How well-insulated is our room on the island? I'd prefer soundproofing so we can talk more-or-less freely. And..." The request? "On the day of our attack, Anton. Would it be possible to position you directly in front of the sun, and cast the entire island in a shadow?"

"If we can we should avoid using bombardment and try to keep this as quiet and as bloodless a coup as possible. There is a chance if we manage to sway the majority of their generals that we may be able to force Logane to step down without a fight. Combat, especially with a Mega or higher risks a large amount of civilian casualties which won't win Gunther much love when he ascends to leadership." Alex pointed out her voice a little hesitant and shy, but becoming gradually more sure of herself as she spoke. Seeing all eyes on her though the girl was quick to blush and duck her head.
"Um...uh...well you see no one really considers medics much of a threat. I could...I mean if it's ok with the rest of the team...I could infiltrate the civilian population claiming to be studying up on digital medicine. If Moon is as much of a collector as Gunther claims I doubt he would pass up the chance to exchange knowledge and add to his collection. I suspect I could probably get myself invited to the Castle by one of the guards to meet him for tea. If we do have to fight we should try to keep it contained to the castle and we probably shouldn't try to sway Chalice until the coup is already underway. Like Gunther says I think a promise of protection will be enough to bring them to our side." Alex explained chewing on her lower lips slightly in anxiety.
"If...If I run into Carter while I'm out and about I will try to sway him though I think he's dependent on whoever encounters him first since we don't know where he stays. Should combat happen in the Castle I think either I or Haru should try to sway Chalice. Since Haru knew the other Chalice and well...I can at least appeal to her sense of self-preservation as a scientist." The Medic added fidgeting slightly with the hem of her shirt. "Err I don't think I'm the right temperament for Gale." She adds softly and can barely manage to look at the Minervamon without flinching.
"Affirmative. Chalice will likely seek to preserve their work. Appeals to ensure the safety of their research will likely prove effective. Bribery of knowledge may ensure Moon's aid or at least their neutrality." Jegan summarized briskly the machine doctor's servos whirring softly as he considered the information alongside his Tamer.
