Right? Seems to Katsura like her acting was successful. Behind her concentrated look she actually had little to no idea about what she was doing. But she at least knew how to pull off a fake confident smile in response to Calysta's encouragements. "Right, I just set my portal thingy to "large". Umm give me a minute." And after some more tinkering, Katsura turned around in a twirl she pointed her digidevice out in the empty place and a large portal started opening. Suddenly you could hear the sounds of the beach. You could smell the seawater and in the distance there was houses revealing a large city. When you looked down there was a 5 cm deep shore of water but if you leaped you'll land on the sand. A Lillymon was making a sandcastle and looked up at Katsura, surprised over the sudden portal.
"Large portals can only take 5." "That's a very specific number. Are you sure?"
"Yup, I read the manual. Huh, why is the water blue again?" "Umm." Nyao turned to Calysta. "Little help?"

Calysta's encouragements were to make sure Katsura would try, but what can you do, I don't know many children that listen 100%? Not many anyway, even if she knew at times Katsura's emotions were hard to read, but right now she didn't have a clue. "Okay." Calysta said waiting for Katsura to do so, not really knowing what the next place would be. She had a little giggle when Katsura opened the portal finding it cute, but hearing the beach, and smelling the water was a good change.
She would blink when Nyao asked for help, wondering what with? "With what? It's only four of us here, meaning we can travel, right?" She said not understanding what Nyao wanted help with there, or was it with Katsura's random number of five? While she would have to wait and see, ready to go inside.

It confused Katsura a little that she her teleportation move was causing Calysta to giggle especially since it ruffed of on Nyao who had to fight an urge to join in.
"Huh?"
"Oh nothing." Katsura clueless as ever had become too used to the digital world to tell how such things would look like to outsiders. Almost like a common house cat Nyao scratched her ears with her large paw when asked to elaborate what she needed help for.
" Ehm you knooow, the name of the city? Katsura gets confused about the color of the sea." "Whitewater? What a stange name" Katsura stepped through the portal then she shrieked alarmed Nyao.
"Kyaa!"
"What?! Did you step on a sharp rock? Are you hurt?!"
"The water is cold!" Katsura said looking back with a pout. This time Nyao couldn't stop herself from giggling which only made Katsura's pouting worse.
"Awww Katsura, are you okay?" Nyao said jokingly while stepping through the portal herself. Katsura couldn't stand this tease and retaliated by... Splashing a wave of shallow water on Nyao with her foot, who shaked it off once again reminding Katsura of a house cat.
"See! The water is cold! Stop laughing!"
The situation quickly escalated to a small scale waterfight and if the goal was to stop Nyao from laughing this would take forever. In the heat of the "battle" they had seemly forgotten about Calysta and her digimon. Secretly, Nyao was just happy to see Katsura reverting back into a normal girl not to mention having fun.

Oh, she understood now. "Oh with the name, while it's just a name," Calysta said, stepping inside when she has seen Katsura pouted about the water being cold. Making Calysta laughed a little herself because seeing Katsura like that was good, giving it was more towards what a normal girl her age would say, and do, oddly enough same with Nyao's comment jokingly about it. Her new friend, while Calysta's Digimon spoke. "Well, it's the sea it's cold because." She would stop him. "You should teach her on day's in school not off." Wait, then it came to Calysta, having a smile, one Katsura wouldn't like.
"Katsura if you miss school, my Digimon here can teach you what you missed, and even double the workload." She said, looking right towards Katsura with that same smile, while they were playing, Calysta just watching them have fun. Looking at Nyao with water was like a house cat, she would stay quiet as they had fun, but looking at them did remind herself that her childhood wasn't so normal, not having much fun herself, so in some sense, Calysta did understand. "Katsura if you like water so much I could take you to a water park one day with a friend." She said hoping that would make her happy.

The "war" with Nyao over getting her to stop laughing came to an abrupt end, when Calysta spoke up. "Huh?"
Katsura stopped splashing water which then caused Nyao to stop. In this cease-fire, Katsura looked back at Calysta listening on what she had to say. As she did so, Katsura was confused by the smile painted on Calysta, she looked happy but different? Wait, Katsura had to study even in the digital world and to make matters worse, Nyao looked intrigued by that idea.
"Bu-ut the digital world is my happy place, it's where I go to get away from bad stuff. Help me Nyao." Nyao didn't respond right away, much to Katsura's shock.
"Ehm actually this sounds like a good idea." "What? You're my best friend for life you're supposed to be on my side." "I am on your side, knowledge is power. Knowledge will keep you safe." "But.." Katsura found herself outnumbered, with not even Nyao agreeing with her it was getting increasingly hard for Katsura to stand her ground. "You know, if someone taught us which fruits and berries were safe to eat, you could spend all your time in the forest." Katsura sighed annoyed, it felt like everyone was against her right now. But despite that Katsura had very few arguments to argue back with. Finally, Nyao decided to use what she just heard Calysta say, something about a Waterpark?
"We could always go in the water park with Calysta later on." "Sigh fine, so when do we start?"

"I understand that, but your grades need to at least stay on a level, and if school is too much or home gets to you, making it here would be a good move, it's not just a bad thing, you can relax while you're doing your homework here can't you?" Calysta hoping she would feel better about it if she thought of it within a new light. Now that she thought about it, Katsura came here a lot, but right now she looked bored... Hmm. "Katsura what is it you do here so much? It looks like a nice relaxing place, but for a human, it doesn't look like it's any different from our world, unless your fighting Digimon." She would say having a little laugh, knowing Katsura wouldn't do that would she? "Unless adults can't understand this world that much?" She said facing Katsura wondering, what she had done here for so long, because for your normal human child now they need a computer without being bored.

Once again Katsura's true age was shining through as her only response to the prospect of having to do homework in the digital world was a reluctant shrug. It did not please Katsura but at the same time she lacked the will to make an argument let alone a temper tantrum. During the question about what she and Nyao was actually doing in the digital world and whether they fought other digimon Nyao could do little more than awkwardly laughing along and nod to Katsura to encourage her to join in. The staged and delayed way they laughed couldn't help but look forced and rather suspicious. Telling Calysta about her actual adventures would probably not be a good idea, well a little teaser to distract Calysta from the bigger picture might help lessening the situation.
"A-hahahah Alexis has a partner too you know." "Oh right. Some grown ups have best friends for life too. Maybe frogs should have their own too" "Frogs?" "You can't expect snakes to use a digidevice without hands?" "Ehh I think only humans get partnered." "Oh that's convenient."
