The dispute about the food went on for a few minutes, and Holmes ws already going to suggest that he was fine and had no need for food if there was not enough, when his ears perked up at the oportunity to be of service. "Exactly! Holmes! That’s me " He repeated that cheesy signature move with the glass, as a mysterious winkle appeared along with. "Worry not, human. Leave everything to me. I will get us food, Digital World style."
Having said that, turning around, he runned as fast as his short legs let him and climbed a tree, going from branch to branch like a monkey, and disappeared within the leaves.
Soon after, he jumped down, his claws full of fruit. "Here! I promise. Nothing poisonous here. Not that anyone knows, anyway. " He decided to whisper the last thing to himself, bringing the food to the both.

Adrian almost laughed when Holmes posed like that. When Adrian asked for service, he was expecting Holmes to, like, point towards a fruit tree or something, not climb up an actual tree himself! And to top it off, he came down with a load of fruit!
"Wow, there was fruit up in that tree?" Adrian gasps, looking up at the tree that Holmes had climbed up. The fruit looked... bizarre to him, however. It certainly wasn't like any fruit he'd ever seen. For one, it was rainbow colored. Not like an actual rainbow, but more like tye-dye. "Are you sure this is safe?"
Holmes had claimed it wasn't poisonous, but Shoutmon heard Holmes say that last part due to his highly good ears. "Usually I'd eat anything, but this... this looks strange. How about you try it first, see if it's safe for us, huh?"

Of course, Holmes was nothing more than delighted to help, even if he had to be the Guinea pig of the group. With a smile worth of a king, he eyes the fruit in his hands. Well, claws. They did seem a bit unusual, but Server Woods was home of a huge variety of digimon; it was only natural to deduce that most of the fruit should be edible enough. Not that he had much experience in this particular place. Specially after having been reborn not so much time ago.
He gulped forcibly, and proceded to slowly take the mystery fruit towards his mouth. No need to rush, he needed to make the possibly last seconds of his digital life as long as possible. His fangs inserted through it, as he began to chew. The taste was horribly, was the first thing he thought. His taste buds weren't annoyed at all. "It's nice! I like it!". The Gatchmon let out a cheerful cry, only to become pale the next second. His whole body petrified, letting the fruit fall to the ground. Clearly it hadn't been a good idea. The poor digimon rested knocked out in the grass, dreaming of rainbow food.

Adrian admired Holmes' spirit, even when he had to try this... really bizarre-looking fruit that he had found. Still, he didn't complain and even did what he was asked to do. He slowly took a bite of the fruit and ate it, although he didn't look like he enjoyed it at all.
"It's good?! Alright, let me try," Shoutmon says, preparing to take a bite of the weird fruit himself.
"Shoutmon, wait," Adrian stopped him, pointing towards Holmes as he went pale, dropped the fruit, and fell to the ground. Uh oh...
"That's... not good," Shoutmon muttered as he himself dropped the fruit as well. Without thinking, Adrian picked up Holmes.
"Come on, we gotta go find a doctor, fast!" Adrian says with panic in his voice. He didn't know what else the drug fruit would do, and he didn't want a Digimon dying on him!

Holmes was already seeing Starmon's by the time they had come to realize that the fruit obviously meant no good. His entire body felt like floating on the sky, touching the fluffly, cute clouds. They looked so sweet, he couldn't help but want to take a bite! He grabbed a bit of the adorable looking dish, and chewed with all his might.
Everything spinned and was tinted of different colours, and music and digimon! Was this Toy Town? It had to be. The little detective got on his feet and began spinning his arms around. "Ah-! Beautiful! So fun!" His hysterical laughter resonated in his mind. "When i was a Kapurimon, i had always wanted to come here! Is every baby digimon's dream! Ye-he!" Holmes spinned and spinned and spinned without control. Green, green, blue, green- red?
Confused, he stopped and tried to properly look at what was disturbing his entertainment. A red monster! He let out a feared screech. "You, go away. Don't take my fun! You meanie!" He complained, glaring at what was actually a distorted version of Shoutmon. "Swing Swing!" With a war cry, the petit digimon swinged his arms around and headed to hit the enemy, even though it probably wouldn't hit a rock in the state of mind he was in.

Adrian had to get this Digimon to a doctor, stat! Maybe Doctor Cross would be a good fit? Didn't he read about a Doctor Mikemon somewhere on Tamernet, or was he just-
As he was thinking, something suddenly bit Adrian's arm. Screaming in pain, he looked down and saw Holmes biting it! He furiously shook the Gatchmon until he eventually let go, hitting the grass with a THUD.
Suddenly, he began acting SERIOUSLY crazy, spinning his arms around and claiming that he was in Toy Town, which caused Adrian and Shoutmon to stare at him with both fear and confusion.
"I think that funny fruit is messing with his brain..." Shoutmon says.
"Gee, I didn't notice..." Adrian said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes and rubbed the arm that got bit. Suddenly, he began charging at Shoutmon in an attempt to attack the red Digimon, which caused the Digimon in question to react with an expression of fear
And it immediately turned to sweatdropping as Gatchmon literally didn't even reach him. In response, Shoutmon punched Holmes in the face with a completely neutral expression.

The unexpected, but well-deserved, punch that came from the dragon digimon sent Gatchmon flying ever farther in Dream Land. It was natural to think that such a hit would awake him from his ill state, but this digimon didn't seem like the lucid type in the first place.
And so, there he layed, on the ground, with his face entirely red thanks to Shoutmon. "He-he.. Clrearly i need more training. Isn't that right, Cherrymon?" He commented to the not present old digimon before fainting from the mix of the pain and the effects of the fruit he had eaten.

"Oh, this is bad... this is REALLY bad," Adrian says, picking up Holmes yet again... although a bit more cautiously this time, as his arm still hurt from being bit. "I think now's a good time to see Cas," Shoutmon suggests. Nodding, Adrian pulled out his D-Arc and opened up a Digi-Port, which Adrian and Shoutmon began to walk into. Meanwhile, right outside of Doctor Cas Cross' medical center, a Digiport would open right outside the front door. It was a pretty cloudy day, but nothing too terrible. Once the port was closed, Adrian and Shoutmon would then rush into the clinic. However, they did not find Doctor Cross like they had hoped. Instead, they saw Jegan, Cas' Medicmon assistant. "Hey Jegan, remember me? Where's Doctor Cross, we REALLY need help." "Like, BIG TIME help!" Shoutmon added. (Enter: Cross)

"Ah Adrian to what do I...oh." The glasses wearing man behind the counter began even as his eyes alighted upon the panicked Shoutmon and the clearly unconscious Gatchmon his own digital signal giving him away for who he really was despite the holosuit he wore. Rushing around the counter the man was quick to motion them further back into one of the clinics backroom. "You have to be careful we're in the human world here. You could be seen." Jegan warned gently even as he rushed them back to the operating room with a frown. The room itself a familiar one with a large steel table in the middle under the medical lights. "Here set the poor thing on the table. Doctor Cross isn't currently present, but I've already sent her a notification that she's needed." The undercover Medicmon explained even as he dropped his holosuit and moved to examine the Gatchmon more closely he scanners whirring.
-Uplink: Jegan is capable of linking with Cassandra's D-terminal to send her information whether she is in the human or digital world. Allowing her to access and examine any data his scanners have picked up. -Bio Scan: Equipped with short range incredibly powerful scanners Medicmon is capable of scanning a Digimon or human reading through their biological signs, data, and dna for anomalies or illnesses allowing him to safely identify them for treatment. May be used on one patient per turn and cannot take accurate readings beyond twenty-five feet.

Holmes was barely conscious enough to realize he was being transported. But the fuzziness never ended, and his surrounding spinned like melting clocks. He felt himself travel, although he could not tell how or to where. Was that thing also part of his delirium? He didn't know.
Suddenly he felt cold. Very old, specially on his back. He moved here and there, trying to get out of that cold place he was being placed in. In his struggle, he had opened his eyes, and saw green. With the cold in his back and the monstrous green lights moving like digimon, Holmes panicked. "Let me go! I tell you, let me go!" He just wouldn'ytstay in one place.
He had to get out there like, now!

Adrian never really saw Jegan in his holosuit, so to see a man in glasses at the counter nearly surprised him. When he was warned about being seen in public, Adrian knew where he was coming from, but had a response anyways.
"We just came from the Digital World. The Gatchmon ate one of these," he says, pulling out a sample of the weird fruit that Holmes had eaten before. "It made him act all insane, and I have no idea what other effects there are."
Jegan had put Holmes on a metal table and began to examine him, and that's when he woke up. And almost immediately, Holmes began to panic and freak out.
"Holmes! Holmes, it's me, Shoutmon," said Digimon told the Gatchmon, trying to calm him down. "You're in a doctor's office... it's going to be alright."
"Just take some deep breaths..." Adrian says.

"Gah! Why is it always the little furry ones!" Jegan yelped as the Gatchmon began to struggle and try to escape forcing the Medicmon to level his wrist at the would be patient. Taking careful aim he fired launching a tranq syringe from a slot on his arm as the dart flew towards the little rookie hopefully impacting his side, shoulder, or back depending on how the Digimon rolled. "Just place the fruit on the counter!" The Medicmon called out attempting to catch and strap down the hopefully tranquilized Gatchmon. "We'll begin analyzing it as soon as the Doctor is~" He began only for a glowing portal to open, the old non-LED lights that lit the room save for the large medical one hanging over the surgery table giving way with a pop and a crack darkening the room. Should Adrian be carrying a cellphone or other electronics he would hear the tell tale screech of static and feedback the sound a familiar one to anyone who'd ever seen a digimon rip their way between worlds where the veil was thin. "Here..." Jegan finished in a slightly strangled voice as a familiar woman stepped forth from the portal. A familiar, human looking, woman. Though the way her mere presence would likely make Shoutmons and the Gatchmon's scales and hair stand on end even with the presence of an Analog jammer to soften it would hint she was anything, but fully human. "Adrian." She greeted in a flat mechanical voice those blue eyes glancing briefly over the human as she took in the scene at large. "And I see you've brought a friend." The Doctor murmured voice softening slightly with clinical interest.

The monstrous scene that went through Holmes"s eyes in that moment looked just like any fiction film, full of moving green creatures and weirds beeping sounds. Being a digimon, he probably hadn't got the oportunity to watch a science-fiction movie, and all of this was real. Way too real. The natural instinct was, or course, escape. And he had tried. He had tried with all his might, but they were fighting back.
He was about to have a nervous breakdown when he felt a voice calling him. A spiky, sharp, familiar voice that he couldn't pinpoint to anyone, but was enough for him to lower his guard. Moment that was taken by those weirdos to give him something, as he suddenly became more relaxed. Not in his mind, but rather his body. Like coming out of a hot calming bath at a term.
In his new state, the Gatchmon, analyzed a bit better the place he was in. The pressure did not let him think, so he could only recognise things in shapes and colors. A red digimon, another digimon, that human and... A new human, who seemed to appear out of the nowhere. He grunted sightly, annoyed that humans and teletransportation didn't seem to sound well in his mind, even though he had just witnessed it.

Adrian nodded to Jegan and placed the freaky fruit on the counter, ready to be analyzed. As he was doing that, the portal began to open, which Adrian assumed was Cas coming back from the Digital World. And, for the most part, he was right. But something was... off. Very off.
For example, he saw lights begin to pop when the portal opened. Adrian's phone began making this loud, screeching static sound. And then there was Cas herself. Sure, she LOOKED normal, but her voice and her mannerisms... they scared both him and Shoutmon.
"H-Heya, Cas..." Shoutmon said, shaking and sweating from fear. "Y-You... look great! Yeah..." He tried to look cool and collected on the outside, but on the inside, he was as scared as if he was staring right at a Phantomon, or an Olegmon!
"Hey, Cas," Adrian says. "I'm sorry to bother you and Jegan like this, but we have an emergency."

The Doctors off-blue eyes slid to Shoutmon pinning the red rookie digimon beneath her stare like a predator with their teeth at ones pulse as she arches a single brow in his direction. "Shoutmon." She greeted then seeming to realize he had complimented her in almost an after thought added "Thank you." Before she strode forward taking Jegan's place over the Gatchmon and pulling her pinlight from her labcoat pocket.
"Jegan mentioned a possible case of poisoning. Jegan I need you to analyze and scan the fruit. Depending on the readings that come back we'll break down how to treat it. Till then I'll treat the symptoms." The Doctor ordered shining the light in the Gatchmon's eyes as she checked the dilation rate with a small frown and pressed her fingertips to his pulse point.
"I see you tranquilized him." She murmured causing the Medicmon to wince.
"Given the situation I was afraid he would damage himself or risk discovery." Jegan explained moving towards the fruit as the compartment on his chest opened leaving the digimon to insert it and begin breaking it down.
"Wise decision. It doesn't seem to be reacting negatively with his system thus far and I see you used the light dosage." The Doctor mused before glancing up at Adrian.
"I need you to describe his symptoms to me. How fast did this current state begin setting in after he ate the fruit?" She questioned turning to snag a saline IV and hook it up to the Gatchmon in hopes of helping flush some of the toxins out of his bloodstream.
