The short semi-detective was in a nauseous state. That thing that they had applied to his body had indeed helped his body relax at first, as one of them began to examine his eyes. He was not sure of what was happening, and the closure of that human made him uneasy. It was when he tried to open his mouth one bit to complain against this laboratory treatment that it came. A strong, vomitive sensation. The place were they had injected that thing suddenly burned like the flames of a Greymon, and something wanted to come out of his throat.
However, no matter how much he wanted to twist in pain and discomfort, the drug did its job and kept him in place. Holmes was limited only to make strange displeasing gestures. He looked at the human that was analyzing him, hoping that some message went through.

At first, Shoutmon thought that he had accidentally offended Cas somehow, so he felt his spine start to tingle as Cas stared at him. He never felt so scared in his life, what was wrong with him?! So when Cas only thanked Shoutmon, he was so stressed from his fear that he merely fell backwards, and if this was an anime, a tiny ghost-Shoutmon would've been leaving the body.
Cas asked about how long the symptoms took to take effect, so Adrian just decided to tell her everything. "Gatchmon here found the fruit just growing in a tree. He feel unconscious almost immediately after swallowing it. All of a sudden he's acting absolutely insane, biting people and claiming he was in Toy Town, whatever that is. We brought him here immediately after all of that."

The Doctor's eyes flickered down recognizing the tell tale convulsions of the little Digimon's throat and the nausia that lit it's face for what it was. With a quick flick of her fingers she undid the quick release on the restraints hooking a nearby bucket with her foot before grabbing it with her hands and holding it under the little Digimon's head as she rolled him to the side so he could safely empty his stomach.
"That is a very severe reaction. Loss of consciousness is never a good sign." The Doctor mused with clinical interest as she carefully rubbed soothing circles into the Gatchmon's box to keep the muscles there relaxed with only nary a faint tremble to her own limbs.
"Analysis complete. Chemical readout is being sent to your D-terminal Doctor." Jegan called out the drawer on his chest opening once more as he pulled out a container containing the pulped remains of the fruit in case they needed it for further treatment.
"Adrian will you come here and hold this bucket for me under your friends head? It's best if he throws up most of this out of his system if it's already inducing vomiting." She explained nodding for the boy to come closer.
"I'll need my hands free to continue treatment." Cassandra explained her tone as ever cool and business.

The infected digimon was very grateful to that human who had seemed to understand his impossible message. They had layed something under him. He did not recognize what it was or how do you call it, but the moment he saw it he knew what he had to do.
And so, Holmes threw eveything that was inside of him, that his body was urgently trying to get rid of. Forget about the shame and what they would think, he just couldn't resist anymore. His body felt so fragile, like it would break at the minimum touch.
A few minutes later, after that horrifing scene, he started to feel better. His mind was more lucid and his thoughts more consistent, as the rest began to take shape and form. And names. That is right, he now could recognise the two who were helping him, Shoutmon and Adrian, who he was supposed to help first, and not viceversa.

"Like I said, he was also delusional," Adrian says, rubbing his forearm. "He bit me after I initially picked him up to take him here."
"He tried to fight me as well... poorly," Shoutmon states. "Said I was gonna 'ruin his fun' or something. What's up with that fruit, anyways, huh?"
Cas had asked Adrian to hold a bucket underneath Holmes' head, in case he needed to vomit. Nodding, Adrian did exactly as he was asked and held the bucket underneath Holmes... right as he regurgitated whatever was in his stomach. Adrian had to hold back the urge to throw up himself.
However, Holmes began to look up... it wasn't with an absolute insane look, or with a blank stare, either...
"Hey there, Holmes," Adrian says in a calming tone. "How are you feeling?"

With Adrian now taking care of the bucket the Doctor was freed up to scan over her D-terminal her brow furrowing at the sight of the various compounds contained within the fruit. "It appears to have the qualities of a low grade sedative, but not enough to keep a target unconscious for long with a high amount of hallucinogenic properties..." The Doctor mused before pausing to glance up at Adrian and Shoutmon.
"In layman's terms it's LSD nyquil. Nothing that will harm your friend longterm though certainly unpleasant. I have some things that should help break down some of the compounds faster, but I'm afraid we'll need to wait for him to flush the rest out of his system. Luckily the chemicals are not highly concentrated so I feel more extreme treatment would just do more harm then good in this case." Cassandra explained simplifying the situation as best she could as she strode over to a small fridge rummaging around in it for a moment before she pulled out two vials of slightly brownish liquid. Tapping the vials lightly she slid it into a syringe before injecting first one vial then the next into the IV line.

Holmes was just waking up, little by little. His head was still banging, as if he had received a punch from a Gaomon, several times. His body was feeling better than before, but he couldn’t move much. He was unconciously glued to the “bed” he was in. Trying with all his might, he tilted his head a bit, examinating for the first time the place he was in.
Next to him he discovered the red digimon who he had called previously, while in that colourful and horrible state. The little digimon ventured to speak. "Oi.. Where, am i?" His voice sounded rusty and weak, almost not possible to be heard.

When Cas explained what effects the weird rainbow fruit had, Shoutmon just kinda stared at her like she was some insane lady who used big words. He only understood it when she put it in layman's terms... sort of. "What's LSD? And Nyquil?"
"Nyquil is a type of medicine for colds and such that puts humans to sleep," Adrian explained. "And LSD is a super-drug that makes you see really, REALLY bizarre things. That must explain why Holmes thought he was in Toy Town..."
That's when Holmes finally began to wake up, seemingly much better than he was before. Adrian knelt down to him when he asked where he was. "You're in a doctor's office. That fruit you tried did some really bad things to you... also, welcome to the Human World."

"Right I forget not all Digimon have spent as much time in the human world as my own partners." Cassandra sighed, but nodded along as Adrian explained to Shoutmon exactly what said items were. Turning towards the fridge in the room she carefully scanned the vials pulling a few out and inserting them into a syringe before injecting them into Holme's IV.
"Hello." The Doctor greeted glancing down at the Digimon on her table. "Please remain calm. This should be out of your system in the next twenty-four hours, but hopefully you should begin showing improvement in the next hour or so." She explained measuring out the doses she injected with great care.
"My name is Doctor Cross by the way. Your friends brought you to the human world branch of my practice. However you are perfectly safe here. While I won't be able to remain long before I must return to the Digital world your condition appears to be stabilizing." Cas explained her voice flat, business-like, but somewhat reassuring in it's cold confidence.
