It seemed to Colin and his partners that Mae was somewhat conflicted with what to do here. It seemed Kappy had been haunting her for quite a long time, but, presumably through no fault of his own. Still though, even though his own memories were foggy, he remembered fond ones in regards to Kappy, and didn't believe he was a bad person.
Luke then listened as Kappy responded. His memories were even foggier than his it seemed. Well, the RedWeregarurumon could answer in one way at least. "I just have one name now, that's Luke" he said.
Then they turned to Mae to see how she responded to this. She said that she might want to go her own way now. "I think that's a good idea" Colin replied. "If you've been chased all this time... you should probably try and find a way to relax and unwind, maybe?". At least, that's what he thought he would do if he were in her (nonexistent) shoes. Just relish in the fact that she was no longer being followed, and try to move on.
Speaking of moving on, Bellamy would poke his hat up and look at Specter. "And what about you? Anythin' we can do to help you out?" he asked, remembering the Impmon ghost's problems in moving on. "I mean... any rituals we gotta do or...?"

Colorful language or not, now that he was free from that bizarre corrupting influence the digimon known as Kappy seemed...well significantly less murderous towards Mae, and that was really all that mattered for the group at this point. They had done what they could and more to help, now it was up to these two to decide how to move on. Besides it was clear Luke could probably bouch for the little guy, that was more than good enough for the duo.
Speaking of moving on, now that Mae was free from her stalker, she seemed rather keen on wanting to go out and explore the rest of the world. Colin clearly agreed with the sentiment, and as it turned out so did Dio now that he had recovered from Mae's unintentional(?) roast.
"Yes...probably a good idea." The demon nodded once, looking up at the sky for a moment, eyes gazing into the blue beyond before looking back down at the Keramon. "The world is large. No need to rush to see it all." Was he trying to impart some wisdom? Trying to be deep? Maybe Dio was simply thinking outloud. It was hard to tell, and at the end of the day it mattered little. Whatever Mae decided to do with herself now it was only a choice she could make.
Bellamy however brought up another important point that Carlos had frankly forgotten about: what about the spirit? "I was about to ask that: anything else we have to do for you to...you know, move on? Salt circles, white candles, a ouija board, that sort of thing?" The man asked as he scratched his head, clearly at a loss as well.

"Logical name." Kappy replied. It was at least a name that one could reasonably get to from shortening Euclid. The Kotemon then turned towards Mae. Now that he was actually looking at the creature with unclouded eyes, he could see...Not much. There was half of him. Then there was half of that thing.
"Just go. I don't even know who you are. But I doubt I have much of a reason to hate you." The Kotemon told the Keramon, who simply...glared. "...Boy do I have plenty of..." She murmured, before trailing off and listening to the two Impmon. "Good point. I'll just...uh. Go make some smores. Go back to the library. Go get what I need later." Mae nodded, before she started to slink off to parts unknown. But not without a final "Thank you."
Kappy and the remainder of the company then turned their attention towards Specter. "I don't think you can." The impmon noted. "It's just a matter of waiting and seeing what happens from here. But at least that's one less creepy crawling roaming around the forest."
Specter was probably not that good at reading the room, considering the subject of that sentence was right there. Speaking of, he too turned to leave. "...Don't follow me. I don't know how long I was like that. The world has changed. I need to see it. Regain my bearings. Engage in debauchery. It is nothing against you lot. But I will see you soon."
...And just like that, he ran off to parts just as unknown as Mae. Well, the latter was more known considering she said her destination. Specter looked between Carlos, Dio, Colin, Luke and Bellamy. "If you don't have anything else to do here, uh...Might wanna get going before something else shows up. This part of the woods is bad luck for some."

Well then, it seemed that that was that. Mae would leave the scene, as would Kappy. Luke wanted to follow initially, but, stopped himself, supposing he'd best just let the Kotemon be. With that, Specter also seemed to indicate that nothing more could be done about his condition.
"Well, alright. Just hope you're doin' okay" Bellamy said to him. Eventually, the Satellamon and RedWereGarurumon's energy ran out, and they de-digivolved back to their Rookie forms, Impmon and Elecmon.
"Aw nuts, was hopin' I'd still be able to fly back to Rosewood" Bellamy pouted. But still, they had a railcart nearby, one easily big enough to carry Carlos and Dio as well as themselves. "But we can still ride there. Do you guys wanna come with us? I'll shout ya a meal at the inn if you want" he offered, wanting to spend more time with friends. Colin and Luke didn't raise an objection.
"Just... keep the boombox off this time, maybe?" Colin asked, sweatdropping. Following that, if Carlos and Dio chose to go with them, or part ways, either way, the three of them would return to Rosewood, still processing the events that happened here.

Surprisingly, it would seem that there really was nothing else the group of partners and tamers could do for this odd trio, and both Mae and Kappy seemed more than content simply going their separate ways and...see what life threw their way, apparently. That, as they said, was that. At the very least Carlos had to admit it was a nice change of pace for things to solve themselves so neatly.
With a small shrug the gentle light of digivolution would cover the NeoDevimon's body one last time, leaving behind the small frame of Dio's impmon form.
"Hope those weirdos don't get into any more trouble, at the very least." He said as he made his own neck crack, still glancing at the two figures as they dissapeared into back into the greenery. That said however he'd turn to the other impmon with a grin, clearly more than happy to unwind a while with a friend after all the weirdness of that day.
"Heh, that's the best idea I've heard all day." He nodded as he followed after Bellamy, with Carlos not far behind. "Very well, I'll bite, but only if I pay for the drinks."
Carlos was happy to tag along as well, but was slightly less happy after that last comment. "Just try to restrict yourself to soft drinks this time around, please." The man would say, following after them with a joking yet deadpan tone, not wanting a repeat of last time drunk escapade. Besides the obvious reason, last thing he wanted was for them to forget the odd events that had transpired today.
