It was unfortunate that Vemmon had no lips because goddamn those would've been really useful right now. "...Nevermind!" She turned back towards Rique. "No, but it's a start." The alien chided as Dash took the opportunity to strike at the evolved ape. Upon the monkey calling them annoying and firing a fireball that, as Vemmon found out very quickly, was not solely meant for Dash.
"No, you."
If anyone had known what this Vemmon had been capable of, they'd know that she possessed a blink just like Dash did. Though it was centered on herself. And it could serve well in dodging attacks. Like this one. The moment that fireball bounced off of Dash and headed towards Mao, she became enveloped in purple as she, for all intents and purposes, went from one place to another in a very swift manner. The place in particular being the coat that Dash wore. She grabbed the comm out of the pocket and opted to keep moving, not wanting to give Rique a chance to strike at her while she phoned for some aid...And hoped to hell that Dash could keep Rique occupied.
Hm. Who'd...probably have the most likely chance of knowing about the individuals here? Why, the Xros General and his army that went into the party, obviously! Mao swiftly tried to dial Tadayoshi, and if he managed to answer, "Hey, sorry for hijacking the comms again but I need every bit of info you have on the chief of security, Rique. Namely his weakness...It's pretty important cause he's kind of trying to kill me and Dash!"
Here's hoping...!
Mao used Vemmon's Blink ability to dodge the fireball, grab the commlink and try dialing Tadayoshi while on the move!
Blink: Every three turns, Vemmon may reposition itself instantaneously to any point WITHIN IT'S VISION. It does have the option of using an ability after this, but the ability has an increased cooldown of a turn.

Tadayoshi and Rinkmon:
"Go, go, go!" Three greens frees Moe. There wasn't time to think too hard on how well that just ended for Yoshi and co; the time was short. He and Renamon scrambled to climb that ladder up to the roof, where they took positions over the ceremony hall. "OK, we're gonna-" Right about then was when his transistor rang. "Agh, we do not have time for this! What is it, Kita?" As Kita explained the situation, Yoshi just got still more tense. "Use fire and watch for his data in other digimon! He can split himself infinitely!" Was that enough? Well, it had to be, because Tadayoshi had other, more immediate concerns. Still, since comms were compromised and used anyway, he figured he'd broadcast to everybody on the mission, "My team's on the roof over the hall. When they start the I Do's, we'll be out of time, so we'll cut the power. Important: the groom, Ura, is a friendly. Don't question me because there's no time." Yoshi felt a pang of doubt in that, but what seemed to make it certain was that Tadayoshi had the collar controls. The combination could have been fake, but wouldn't it have been easier for Ura to kill Moe himself? "Renamon, Hagurumon, standby for fusion."
"Ready."
"Do I have to?" Hagurumon groaned as he exited the Xros Loader.
"At least we've confirmed you aren't the one in control of this combo. Now, Xros!" Renamon and Hagurumon briefly became little specs of light that circled each other in a double-helix shape an merged at the top of their upward journey. That was when they became-
"-Rinkmon, standing by."
"Stay ready. Commandramon, are you close? We've gotta move!" In one hand, Yoshi held his transistor, prepared to cut the power. In the other he held the collar controls. Freeing Moe could wait since they couldn't hurt her without that remote, but too soon and he'd give everything away. That would have to happen once the power was out. Three green. Syrinx. Now, we wait for the I Do's...
Renamon and Hagurumon fused to X2 Rinkmon.
Commandramon
"We're almost out of the tunnel, but I can't say what's at its end." Commandramon was finding it increasingly hard to keep calm like he was told to to keep the technique working. He wanted to point his gun at the exitway just to be safe, but that kin of focus would no-doubt disrupt Tip's ability. "General, if we're too late, trust us to make our own exit. The mission comes first."

Well it did not take too long for this monkey party to get started, if enough Kazuya Oda was happy that he dropped the pills already. You know not every day you wake and think (Today I will drug the patriarch of a crime family, who is also monkey.) But here is Kazuya a man who actually attempted that, crazy how life gives you twist and turns. Heck this was not even the biggest plot twist of his life. . .Yet. well the two men watched as Ralph made his introduction, that bastard of a monkey really actually posed to grab attention, how much more ridiculous and pretentious can this whole family can be ? Well you know what Kazuya did not want to know that, he'd rather keep that part of his sanity with him.
"Alright, we need a game plan, the moment to save Moe is drawing near. But in order to act we need a couple of things, we need a good location to act from, visual confirmation on how to get out of here and finally we need to see Moe." Royland suggested as he began to feel a bit anxious, you see this Spadamon acknowledges his own limitation knows that he is not strong enough to save everyone with brute force, so he wanted something to help him avoid combat. Kazuya looked confident as he decided to do something that might be reckless "ok follow me Roy" Kazuya said as he headed towards Sirius with Roy following him.
"Oh hey there Sirius, it'a me Momotaro. How have you been friend, oh looks like we do not have any seats. Do you mind if we sit next to you ?" Kazuya I mean Momotaro asked, this was truly an act out of desperation.
(Wait did he say Momotaro, what the hell did Kazuya do while I was gone. You know what I won't ask those questions now.) Royland thought as he stood by Kazuya silent and doing nothing

“W-What!?’” Rique only managed to utter these words as he saw Vemmon vanishing in front of his eyes to then appear some meters away, reaching for Dash’s coat. In his right hand, he quickly charged another fireball to throw at the alien. When he was about to shoot, he felt Dash’s fangs sinking into his back. “Don’t forget about me!” The beast managed to say, still driving his teeth into the monkey. The Sangloupmon could only hope his partner had a plan, because right now he was risking more than his integrity by throwing such a reckless attack.
While the ape kept trying to shake the demonic dog off his back, he kept shooting fireballs, spinning around his own axis and aiming poorly. This meant that Vemmon could probably dodge all of them, but she had to keep moving if she didn’t want to get hit. The fireballs coming from the Gokuwmon were just going everywhere, destroying walls and furniture. Among this chaos, he hit a couple of reflectors hanging from the top right corner of the warehouse, making them fall into the ground and breaking into huge shards of reflecting glass.
“Enough!” The monkey yelled, finally managing to grab Dash and get him off his back, throwing him into the air. “Die!” He threw a massive ball of blazing heat right into the beast. Upon contact, the ball exploded. A seemingly unconscious Dash fell into the ground. His fur had acquired a dark grey color and there was some smoke coming out of his body like he had been burned. He didn’t seem like he could get up anytime soon.
By now, Vemmon had gotten a response from Tadayoshi. Rique had now turned at her, ready to attack. “It's your turn now." He said, visibly annoyed. "Time to end this."
What was the alien going to do now?
Combat Log: Dash: Demonic Crunch: Dash bites an opponent, sinking his teeth into them and inflicting massive damage as well as infecting them with poison. During the next 3 turns, the enemy will take a slight amount of poison damage every turn. 3 turns cooldown. Demonic Crunch Cooldown: 0/3 Demonic Crunch Duration: 0/3
Rique: Die!: Rique shots a ball of blazing heat to the opponent that explodes upon contact, incinerating them. Bouncing Burn Cooldown: 1/2.
Stage: Avalanche Hazard!: The battle must end before the eighth turn, or the bout will produce an avalanche on the mountain behind the warehouse that will cover up the whole building. [4/8]
DJ Steph kept mixing the tunes for the party. Now that the ceremony had begun, the music had changed into something more romantic. Ralph had unplugged the fountain from the wall and was now dragging it to the center of the stage where a huge book rested on top of a small table. Behind that table, the king would take his position, keeping the fountain right next to him, where he kept drinking from. He just couldn’t go through all of this ceremony without drinking. Behind the table, one could also see Brox, Tina, Nita, and Tyrus. The last was still fast asleep, resting over a chair. Ralph took a look at his son and his mouth wrinkled.
“Oh well. This is going to be long and kind of tedious, but…” The golden-suited monkey took a sigh and then chugged at another jar of beer. “A wedding in the Northern Prominence where one of the four big families takes part cannot be considered official if these rules are not followed, so we have to do it.” It was obvious he was being forced to follow these rules, but it also should be obvious he was willing to do what was necessary to have more power in this side of the Digital World. “That being said, the rules state I have to read this book and recite some stuff. The wedding has to be led by the father of one of the parts. Since the king of the Heart Family is not here tonight, I, the king of the Ralph Family will be in charge of reading the book.” The ape still had a very unamused tone in his voice.
The band started playing another romantic tune, this time a little slow-paced. Everyone stood up while the main doors to the ceremony hall opened and Ura appeared. He walked the aisle wearing a red bow on his neck, accompanied by two other Koemon who just stopped in front of the altar while he took some steps further, bowing to his father.
The tune changed into a more melodic one once Moe entered the room, also accompanied by two other Koemon who also stopped walking before getting to the altar, letting the Luminamon take some steps forward. She was still wearing that collar. Her face was obviously one of discomfort, but she wasn’t crying anymore. Maybe she was trusting something would happen? She hadn't see Royland in the crowd, she was just staring to the front, very scared.
At this point, everyone had to remain in their seats, since the ceremony had already started. Royland and Kazuya would still be sitting on the last row. The golden-eyed man had tried to look for Sirus to get some better seats just some minutes before the everything started but… he wasn’t around anymore.
Once they had gotten into the roof, they would find a rather empty space with nothing more than multiple slits and crannies that seemed to be related to the ventilation systems. Around the middle of the layout, they could find a giant crystal slit, from where they could see the interior of the Ceremony Hall. From there, they could actually see Ralph in front of the giant book and the ceremony starting to take place. The final moments were coming close, and that much seemed to be clear for Tadayoshi and the rest of silence. However, things were about to get more complicated.
“Well, this is really troublesome, isn’t it?” A voice was heard, coming from the eastern side of the roof. If the duo followed the sound with their heads, they would see Sirus slowly walking towards them. "I should have guessed whoever was causing trouble would be up here." The Makuramon mustered a half-embarrassed smile as he scratched the back of his head. “Boy, we really have messed up letting you all get this far.” He added. It was clear he was having trouble to look all too serious and scary. “It’s over now, though.” He frowned, staring at both the digimon and the short haired boy. He then shifted his gaze to his right, where there was, apparently, nothing in particular.
“Why didn’t you stop them if you were always here, Bahr?” The monkey asked out loud. Out of thin air, a figure started materializing. It was a brown-pelted monkey wearing a big mask. In his left hand, he was holding a giant boomerang. Hagurumon, inside of Rinkmon, would probably recognize him, as the Sepikmon that had appeared before him and Tadayoshi when they were at the training ground. “I rather staying invisible and avoid fighting for as long as I can, Sirus.” He answered. His tone of voice was a little conceited. “Besides, you asked me to interrogate this dog when you found him, so that’s what I’ve been doing.” On his left hand, he was gripping the leg of an upside-down Logamon, who seemed like he had gone through some damage. “Sadly, he doesn’t seem willing to cooperate.” The masked baboon added.
Nero was almost unconscious but was still trying to shake his body to liberate himself from the monkey’s grip. “Y-You… let me…” He didn’t even manage to finish his sentence, he started coughing bits of data as if they were blood.
“I suppose it is likely you know this guy, isn’t it?” Bahr asked, looking at both Rinkmon and Tadayoshi. “I think you should give up now or we’re killing him right away.” The Logamon seemed very nervous, he was staring at the digimon and the human, but he didn't seem to know who they were.
While the monkeys spoke, if Tadayoshi looked far behind them, he would spot two figures coming out of one of the ventilation pits. These shapes immediately noticed the monkey’s presence, hiding behind some of the giant ventilation pipes scattered around the place. They were Tip and Commandramon. The duo had finally gotten out of their short travel and they had found both Tadayoshi and Rinkmon in a tough spot. They couldn’t hear what the monkeys were saying, at least not without using their earpiece.
“Look, guys... You two look harmless so... I really don’t want to harm you. So please, can you drop this already and turn yourselves in?” Sirus kept scratching the back of his head. “What are you saying, Sirus?” Bahr hissed. “Take them out already.” “Agh, but… that’s not really my style, Barh.” The Makuramon pouted. “Listen.” He turned his gaze at the short-haired human and raised his index finger to point at him. “I’ll give you three seconds to raise your hands and let me take you to custody.”
“What should we do? They still haven’t noticed us.” Tip asked Commandramon, whispering. “I can throw a fire beam at them, but we probably only have got one chance and we have to make it count. Who do you think would be more affected by that technique?” The Aegiomon asked. Whatever they were doing, they had to act fast and be precise.
Rinkmon and Tadayoshi were at the spotlight right now. Trying something before Tip and Commandramon launched an attack was probably not a good idea.
“One… two…”
Time was running out.
Time: 10:10 pm [The ceremony has started!]
Next objectives: *Group A: -Win the battle for the conveyance! -NEW: Find a way of using Rique's weakness against him! -OPTIONAL: Blow up the warehouse. *Group B: -Stop the wedding!

"Roger that." Vemmon had to move to stay alive here, and move she did--fire was, funnily enough, one of her weaknesses too. Then again, it was anyone's weakness, really. Fire burns, after all! Plus, Vemmon was already a rather nimble form, as the last month in this world had proven.
In short, dodging the fireballs was easy. Furniture had been destroyed. By fire, of course, so there was likely gonna be bits of stuff that happen to be burning. Okay.
Okay. She was in control here. She could fight this thing. Burn him. Tenderize him. Cook him like the swine he is. And watch for his data going into other beings. There were two things able to be used here. The glass. And whatever burning stick she could procure. One of those seemed far safer, in truth.
Mao ran for the shards of glass, grabbing the largest one she could before she turned to face Rique. "By all means. You can try." The alien spoke in a voice that clearly belonged to the human.
She was extraordinarily cocky now. With what, a Brazilian Shank™? Really?
PULL THE TRIGGER. DO IT.

It was too bad that Commandramon wasn't close at hand when Moe came into the hall, but there was just nothing to do about it. They couldn't want any longer. With one hand, Tadayoshi pushed the green button three times to deactivate Moe's collar while the other held the transistor. In it, he told Kazuya, "Kaz, cut the power with your transistor before Moe gets too far away. Password is Syrinx." He tucked both devices away then and rapidly turned around as Sirius' voice surprised him. Rinkmon did, too. Neither of them recognized any of these faces, but Tadayoshi didn't forget what he should do if he met a Logamon. He glared at the wolf as if he were angry and muttered, "...You've gotten yourself into a real cup of sweets, haven't you?" just after the Logamon spoke.
Tadayoshi noticed Commandramon and Tip emerging behind the pair, but he knew he couldn't afford to let his eyes linger on them too long and risk giving their position away. He maintained discipline and maintained eye contact with the monkeys. "OK! OK, stop, we're giving up!" It was clear Tadayoshi and Tip were going to make a move, and as they were undetected they had the better position to move first. Raising his hands was his attempt to buy one or two more seconds for them to make that move.
Rinkmon refused. "Kid, I swear-"
"Do it!" Rinkmon didn't give it up as fast. Maybe she didn't get the plan. She did, however, glare at her General loathingly as her open hands extended toward the sky.
Commandramon, however, was not willing to let his allies be taken alive. "Target the one with the hostage," Commandramon mumbled as he pointed his gun at Barh. "Same time: 3, 2, 1, Precision Shot!" Commandramon's fast countdown included a hand signal for Rinkmon's sake. The end result was that at the end of his countdown, Commandramon's handle sight came to be replaced with a short, medium-range scope which he trained right approximately where Barh's digicore would have been, at which point he instantly pulled the trigger. Besides a cacophonous bang, a small bullet made of pure energy exited the rifle and flew in Barh's direction. Hopefully, fire shot out at him at the same time.
Rinkmon got the message. "Flash Freeze!" What did it matter that Rinkmon's hands were in the air when her feet were her real weapons? One stomp of her bladed foot, and the whole roof became covered in slick, chilly ice. Tadayoshi drew his Xros Loader, ready to swap forms as necessary.
Meanwhile, Tadayoshi could only try to jump back. Unfortunately he slipped and fell on ice on the landing, but at least he was slightly farther away.
Their move was made.
Commandramon attacked Barh with Precision Shot. --Precision Shot: The current sight or scope of this digimon's rifle disappears to be replaced by one more appropriate for the current range that automatically corrects aim for wind, distance, and target motion, and it even provides weak-point analysis. This digimon aims the scope or sight, then fires one highly precise energy bullet to deal damage. This attack's accuracy is boosted by 30%, and its damage is boosted by 25%. Outside of combat, this ability may be used at any time without triggering a cooldown to access various scope types like night vision, infrared, and long-range zoom. Cooldown: 2 posts. Rinkmon covered the roof in an ice sheet with Flash Freeze. --Flash Freeze: This digimon covers the battleground in a thick sheet of slick ice that melts away after five posts. While this digimon is on the ice, her speed is boosted by 30%. While other digimon are on the ice, they are subject to the possibility of accidental slips, falls, and generally lack of control over their own momentum. Cooldown: 4 posts.
Precision Shot must cool down: 2 posts remaining. Flash Freeze must cool down: 4 posts remaining.

Post by Kazuya and Royland on Dec 14, 2018 0:25:20 GMT
Kazuya and Roy were confused by the disappearing Sirius, this was seriously worrying because that monkey was a tough one so the rest of the team is in danger now. But sadly there is nothing that Kazuya and Royland can do at the moment, so they need to pray that the others should be able to deal with it on their own. But this was not a completely bad thing, because now there is an empty seat that is close enough for the duo to be able to act and stop the wedding as efficiently as possible. Now the duo waited for the lights to turn off and for their part of taking Moe and running away, but what happened next was totally off script. Yoshi send him a message through the transistor, luckily Kazuya used his hand to dampen the sound coming from the transistor making it so low that only Kazuya can hear it due to bringing it towards his ear. After hearing everything Kazuya knew that things were about to go down, the golden eyed man took a deep breath before turning towards Royland. "Hey Roy, get ready I think its go time now." The Spadamon nodded his conviction was as strong as it can be, he had one goal in his mind and he is going to do it no matter what.
Kazuya then began to get up from his chair and walk slowly with Roy as the two did not want to gather any sort of attention, the two then got into a position where they can easily see Moe and Ura, while also having a some what clear path to them. With that on mind, Kazuya remembered that this transistor was connected to the palace's security, which was how he was able to keep an eye on everyone and everything when they were back up team members. So he began to type the password on the transistor once he was done he pressed to start the command, Kazuya watched to see what will happen and IF it worked this what he and Roy would do.
Once the lights are down, Royland would rush to Moe at full speed, trying to avoid any digimon on the way. He then got close to the tiny digimon and whispered into her ear "sorry for doing this, but I need to get you out of here as fast as possible." He said as he began to lift her and carry her bridal style, he then turned towards Ura and said the following. "Hey you, if you want to survive follow me quickly." Royland then dashed away with Moe as he headed to exit the palace the same way he got it in, the front door. His logic was that the lower floors will have minimal security, Kazuya would of course run behind them as he was no longer safe now that the bride extraction began.

The Grizzmon remained unconscious, just like Dash now. The warehouse was slowly starting to catch on fire, while the cold breeze started to make its way through some of the crumbling walls that were only the outcome of the fierce battle that was taking place. Rique was visibly upset that such rookies (almost literally) were giving him this amount of trouble. It was obvious he didn’t care much about destroying this place, if it meant he could get this over with as soon as possible.
The biggest shard Vemmon could find was actually… pretty large! It was more like a giant mirror. A round-shaped piece of glass, with cutting edges. Rique’s anger only kept raising after hearing the alien’s words. “Aaaaaaggghhh!” energy started circling around the monkey, as his body started acquiring a golden glow. “ENOUGH OF THIS INDULGENCE!” 10 balls of fire surrounded the creature's body, while he seemed to be completely on another level. Moving his body in kung-fu like movements, the fireballs began being jutted off against Mao, at a speed that was even hard to catch by the eye.
Maybe the alien would be able to dodge one or two. However, when the third and fourth came, she would notice the speed was only rising by the second, and they burned like hell!
There was no way she could take many of those. During her movements, one of the blazing balls of energy happened to hit the giant shard of glass she was holding, just as a coincidence. The fireball was immediately reflected, going aimlessly towards the ceiling.
Huh. Maybe this could give Vemmon a clue on what do to regarding the six fireballs that were about to be shot at her and kill her.
Battle Log: Rique: Burning Hell: Rique summons 10 fireballs and starts shooting during both this and the next turn. Each fireball does a 5% more damage than the last one and travels 20% faster. Bouncing Burn Cooldown: 2/2. Burning Hell Cooldown: 0/2
Stage: Avalanche Hazard!: The battle must end before the eighth turn, or the bout will produce an avalanche on the mountain behind the warehouse that will cover up the whole building. [5/8]
Very unamused, Ralph started reading the giant book. Was that just boredom, or was he starting to feel… sleepy? The monkey just took another massive chug of beer from the fountain he had placed next to him. That would definitely keep him awake, right?
“Once upon a time, Hearts, Spades, Clubs, and Diamonds, four mighty digimon, fought for the dominance of the Northern Prominence. The Ice Warrior appeared to put an end to this war, teaching every warrior to live in peace, as a family. Each of them kept protecting the interests of their families, but from that day on, they would also act like they were one big group, protecting each other and caring for the rest of the families. According to the teachings of the Ice Warrior, they should never refuse to accept new digimon into their wealthy families, as long as a pure love bound them.” The monkey let go a yawn. “That is why we’ve been reunited here. To make that bond official, and welcome a new member to one of the mighty families. In this case, Moe, from the Heart Family, will… take…” While he spoke, Ralph’s eyes caught a raven-haired man on the crowd, holding a device while he stood up. The king slowly took some precautions and approached the bride.
Brox, who was next to the king, also noticed this strange behavior coming from the man. “What the…?” He muttered, throwing a glance to a couple of guards who immediately started heading towards the suspicious guy. Something was wrong, they knew this much. Brox took out a small, silver remote, prepared to press a button in case it was necessary. And boy, was it necessary.
Before the Koemon could even address the man, he had typed something into his device. The whole room trembled, and the roar of an explosion could be heard, coming from down below. Not even a second after, the lights went out. The whole room was engulfed in pitch-black darkness, only the moonlight managing to give some clarity into the Ceremony Hall. The crowd started screaming in panic and running everywhere. “Nobody moves!” Brox’s voice echoed through the hall, as he jumped in front of the altar, stopping an upcoming Spadamon trying to approach the spot. The Gorimon threw a fast-paced punch at the cat with all of his strength.
Ralph didn’t even utter a word. He knew this was coming since the moment he saw that man standing up. He immediately grabbed Moe with his gigantic right hand. “Brox! Stop this!” He yelled, to then let go another huge yawn. How could he be sleepy in a moment like this?
Tina and Nita knew what they had to do. The sisters ran towards the door and stood right in front of it. Time to block the only possible way out of the Ceremony Hall. Meanwhile, some steel bars fell in front of the door. Brox had pressed the button, blocking the exit.
“… Thr-“ Sirus was immediately interrupted by the sound of two projectiles hitting Bahr mercilessly. A fireball and an energy bullet had both reached the ape. A short groan of pain escaped the Sepikmon as he collapsed into the ground, dropping Nero, who managed to land on his feet, only to receive a stalactite, like a bullet, right into his chest, coming from the Makuramon. It was a brutal strike that even shattered pieces of data from the Logamon’s chest, making him fall into the floor, his eyes barely opened. The pain from receiving such a brutal shot, after the torture he had been through coming from Bahr, was too much for him to withstand. He couldn’t even move anymore. He remained there, feeling his data escape through his wound.
“Damn it! I told you to stay still!” Sirus yelled. His eyes were wide opened, fear and disgust could be seen inside of them. He then stared down, while the floor got covered in ice. A smirk appeared on his face as his eyes went back to Tadayoshi and Rinkmon. “I think you two are not very lucky. It is a shame you couldn’t have known I am a specialist in ice techniques.” Or could they? Welp, if so, they had made a mistake. The Makuramon was now basically feeling like home. He raised both arms into the air in an aggressive manner. “Water style!” He declared. “Massive wall!” The ice Rinkmon had laid on the ground started raising below his feet, attempting to completely engulf the warrior to paralyze him. They had given him the ice, the only thing Sirus had to do now was moving it.
He immediately turned, as he felt Tip approaching him from the back, trying to smash him with a flying punch. The Makuramon swiftly moved to the side, dodging the attack, to then kick the Aegiomon into the distance with brutal force, making him slide through the ice and fall off the roof. “I’m sorry, but I can’t forgive someone who hurts a member of my family.” He stated, turning his head towards Sepikmon, who was still moaning in pain on the ground. “Which is why…” His eyes then went to Commandramon. “I’m sorry, but I have to eliminate you. Water Style!” With a movement that was almost impossible to see, obviously having his speed boosted up by the ice around the stage, the monkey appeared right in front of the dragon soldier. “Five-finger-deathblow!” Sirus charged a punch glowing with white colored energy. It seemed enough to make a brutal amount of damage to any digimon, even more to a rookie. He moved his fist towards the soldier with great velocity.
Tip managed to climb back into the roof only to find the scene taking place. He tried to do something but it was too late and he was too far away. Was this it? Was his partner going to die? He could only stare at Sirus’ technique, going against Commandramon, threatening to kill him.
Sirus’ eyes widened, as he felt his fist being stopped mid-way, after colliding with another being. The blow was delivered with such might it made the body crack the ice some meters to the left of the encounter. If they turned to the floor to see who had intercepted the monkey’s brutal punch, they would find Glenn’s body, mortally wounded, with his data escaping through the back side of his body.
A faint smile was fixed on the Gaomon’s countenance, while he stared into the distance. Laying on the floor too, from the distance, a shout escaped Nero.
“GLENN!!!”
The digimon’s yelling echoed throughout the roof, while Sirus only stared dumbfounded at the scene.
The eyes of a dying Glenn scanned the roof, finding Tip first.
“I’m--sorry…” He managed. “I know you said that if you ever saw me again you would kill me. But I think you won’t be able to do that now, since I’m about to die anyway.” He said. Some coughing ensued his words. He was too wounded to even speak properly. Glenn then took a breath to utter the rest of his words. “You were right. I had no right to endanger people’s lives. And I don’t even know if I had the right to save them but… I just couldn’t go home and forget about all of this.”
Inside of his head, Tip’s retraced the words he had told the Gaomon some hours back. Still staring at the scene developing, completely shocked.
“I can understand what trying to save someone you love is like, but it does NOT give you the right of endangering everyone’s lives.”
“Leave that Bronze Card here, turn back, go back into the tunnel you came from and go home. If I ever see you again, I will kill you and absorb the last piece of data you have.”
Glenn’s eyes continued to go through the digimon that were standing over the roof, to finally find Nero, whose very wounded body was resting on top of the ice too.
“H-Hi there… brother…” The Gaomon muttered. “You don’t look… too good.” He coughed between words. “G-Glenn… WHY!?” Nero asked, tears filling his eyes. “You… told me…” He made a pause, to then perfectly recreate his brother’s words. “... The moment when you start living, is only at the moment when you're willing to give your life for the ones you love.”
Now, memories of last night started going through Nero’s head, reminiscing about everything he told his brother. That conversation they had before going into this suicidal mission.
What are you doing, Nero? What does it seem like I'm doing? I'm going to save our sister. But... but those monkeys are too strong! You saw them! Not even father could stand against them! I rather die trying than sitting here while they make Moe suffer, Glenn. I... I want to go too! I'm going with you! Are you prepared for dying? D-Dying...? The moment when you start living, is only at the moment when you're willing to give your life for the ones you love!
Slowly, Glenn opened his mouth to speak again. “So… for the first time… I feel more alive than… ever…”
Right after managing to say this, Glenn’s body started vanishing into the air, becoming small bits of data that slowly disappeared into the night sky.
"GLENN!!!!"

The voice in Mao's head that belonged to Vemmon was SCREAMING for her to get out of the way. She briefly obeyed that instinct, dodging the first two balls of fire before the third slammed into her, scorching her terribly and eliciting a noise that sounded like both the human--and the spirit she was drawing from screaming.
Fire must have been something that Vemmon hated. However, the fireball bouncing off the reflector gave Mao an idea that she immediately put into effect. When the next fireballs would come, she would hold the reflector in front of her. It was like a shield. So, this would be the best use of it. She was holding it in a way so that rather than be launched for the ceiling, the fireballs would hopefully bounce off and back at Rique. Her grip was shaky, but she steeled herself in preparation for the next barrage.
"C'mon, you Journey To The West-looking simian fuck, SHOW ME WHAT YOU'VE GOT!" Famous last words.

A mischievous grin appeared on Rique’s face when he saw Mao’s being hit by one of his blazing fireballs. The pain the Vemmon was suffering seemed to cause a sadistic pleasure on the monkey. They had been playing around and putting him in ridicule for too long. He was glad this was finally about to be over. The fifth, sixth and seventh fireballs were now going the very-wounded rookie’s way, just one more hit and all of this charade would meet its necessary end. However… The sight of Vemmon raising a shard of glass right before being impacted by the scorching fire took him by surprise. Rique’s eyes only had time to widen upon seeing the fire bouncing against the crystals and heading… directly towards him! He tried to move to a side but the velocity these fireballs had been inputted with was too much, even for him to dodge. He was hit by the first blazing sphere, and not even one second later the other two impacted him, exploding right upon contact. The screams of pain coming from the monkey were probably almost deafening. Fire was his signature element, but also… his greatest weakness. When the smoke cleared, the Gokuwmon could be seen swinging his body from one side to another, desperately. He didn’t have a single technique to get rid of the fire burning his body, that much was obvious. Mao could then see a figure latching into Rique’s back and immobilizing his arms. The fire and the monkey’s movements at first would make it hard to notice, but not long after she would be able to tell… it was Dash. The ape seemed extremely weakened, and was unable to take the hare off him. The Gazimon was now making impossible for the monkey to move or dodge any kind of attack. His body seemed weak, ready to receive a final blow. “DO IT NOW, GLASS GIRL!”It was clear Dash was also using the last bits of strength he might have. Rique seemed ready to be taken out, but the blow would definitely have to be a good one, coming from Mao. Before the alien could do any movement, she would probably hear many voices coming from the transistor. Battle Log: Stage: Avalanche Hazard!: The battle must end before the eighth turn, or the bout will produce an avalanche on the mountain behind the warehouse that will cover up the whole building. [6/8]
Everything had occurred too quickly. That was the only thing Tip was sure of. Once Glenn disappeared, right in front of his eyes, the rest of the members of the team had been wiped out. Sirus had clapped his hands, making the ice surrounding Rinkmon apply pressure to his body, until the ice exploded into many shards that just flew through the air, damaging the digimon heavily. The monkey had then slid towards the warrior and delivered a combo of icy kicks and blows. He was just too fast. Not even Tip nor anyone else was able to react to his movements. His attacks had been devastating. Rinkmon just split into two unconscious baby digimon, completely unable to move. Commandramon’s fate hadn’t been any different. Three stalactites had been thrown at him at great speed, piercing his front side as three powerful shots, to then start leeching all of his energy. Immediately, the dragon soldier had gone back to being a baby digimon, as immobile as helpless. Not a single member of the group had been able to stop it. They were unable to fight Sirus' merciless attacks. “It is true I don’t enjoy hurting others.” Sirus walked slowly towards Tip, prepared to land a finishing blow on him too. Meanwhile, his left arm had gotten surrounded by all of the ice that was previously over the floor due to Rinkmon’s technique, giving him a giant ice spear for an arm. While he spoke, the Makuramon shifted his gaze to silence’s defeated members. “And I can understand you’re all under pressure due to the tasks you’ve been giving in whatever you’re trying to accomplish. But leaving your companions to die like this…” He made a pause, shaking his head slowly. “You don’t even deserve me to tell you I’m sorry for this. You’ve got no honor. You’ve got no pride. To me…” Then, in a sudden movement, Sirus clenched his right fist, his dead-serious eyes affixed on Tadayoshi. The human immediately fell unconscious, just like the rest of his army. “… you’re nothing but a bunch of cowards.”Just like that, silence had been completely wiped out. Tip, the only member of the team who remained standing, could hear some words coming from his transistor. The rest of both the A and B group could hear them too.
Kazuya and Royland weren’t faring of any better. Royland had been slammed and jutted against a wall by Brox. Even though sleepy, Ralph was still up and holding Moe. The exits were blocked by giant bars and both Tina and Nita, and around ten Koemon were surrounding the human and the Spadamon separately, slowly approximating. They were trapped. They were helpless. Kazuya would probably hear some words coming from his transistor. The rest of both A and B group could hear them too.
But what was what everyone could hear coming from their transistors then? Well… Somewhere in the darkest, recondite place of Terminus City… “Damn it, damn it, damn it!”Luke slammed both hands against a desk, which only had a transistor on top of it. It was over. Kazuya was trapped, Tadayoshi and his army had turned out to be too weak for this mission and Mao was too far away. While all of this developed, the Valkirymon had gone through all of the possible scenarios trying to look for one where they could come out as winners, and he found nothing. It didn’t matter how much he thought about it, there was absolutely nothing to do. He picked the transistor up to call Ronda, it was time to tell her to retreat. However, just before he could dial, a Hookmon entered through the back door of the room. “Superior! We’ve got it!”Luke turned towards the soldier addressing him, waiting for an explanation. “We searched in the buying registers for that code and we found the manufacturer, we know what the dagger does.” The digimon stated, handling a piece of paper to the Valkyrimon. “T-This…!” Luke muttered, while reading the document. He immediately took the transistor and addressed the team.
Listen! About the dagger you found inside of Ralph’s room: Apparently, it's a weapon known as a portal knife. It can open a portal that makes appear the first to type a certain code into their D-Terminal. Few of them were manufactured and so it is not too known, but I think it will help us. I will call one last reinforcement. Whoever has the dagger, I need you to push and hold the button and draw a circle with it on the ground, NOW!
Right after ordering this, and hoping for the team to abide, he dialed another frequency on his transistor. The only members of the Dark Army who had no chance of being recognized as such were Tip and Dash. There was a chance the Ralph Family would recognize any other member they sent. If they discovered they were the ones trying to ruin the wedding, this would bring a conflict they definitely did not need right now. They had to focus on the Zoid Gems, and they needed everyone they could at Terminus to look for Bastian and defend the stones they had. Even if he hated it had to come down to this, this situation only left him with one possible option… that stranger who contacted him over a week ago. Luke had a bit of trouble finding the frequency, but he accomplished in the end. “Hey… if you’re listening… I’m taking the deal. I’ve got a mission for you. It starts right now. Go to your D-Terminal and look for the user ‘0286’ on tamernet and start a chat with it. Then, type the code '84581' and hit send. If it works, you better hold onto that D-Terminal and get ready to start fighting immediately.”
If everyone did what they were asked to do a green glowing light would start coming out of the circle drawn on the floor. It will keep shinning until it became almost impossible to look directly at. Out of it, a body would materialize, and only then the light would start to fade. Then, their last reinforcement would have arrived. The last card had been played. Would this be enough to come out victorious? Time: 10:28 pmTadayoshi and Silence have been defeated.Next objectives:

To say this endeavor had quickly become rather painful would be an understatement to the point where it could be considered disgusting. However, the quick thinking of not the alien, but the girl the alien was bonded to was what had won the battle in the end. For all of Rique's power? The filthy ape had idiocy to match.
Because the rest of his fireballs were reflected off of the Brazilian Shank shard of glass she had appropriated from the mirror. And they all hit him. And they all did massive amounts of damage, and caused an explosion to boot. As the smoke cleared to reveal a heavily damaged, maybe even near-dead Rique...
Dash had latched onto him. The course of action was made clear in that moment. With a battlecry that could be clearly identified as Mao Kita and not Vemmon, a cry that rang out over the many voices coming from the communications device, the purple alien ran forward and leapt towards Rique, arms out and poised to tear directly into his core, yank it out...
And load it.

A rather small, dark Room amid Terminus. A lone teenager, sitting in comfort of a sofá that took more or less one-fourth of the room. In one hand, a pen was twirling lazily, almost as its only purpose was to be an improvised fidget spinner. The other? The other held a D-Terminal, waiting expectantly for a message that would eventually arrive. One could say that desperate situations called for desperate measures, even if this small quest had been on a bit of a downward spiral for a while now; could it really be salvaged at this point? The brunette herself wasn't sure, even if the desperation felt by at least one certain Valkyrimon was pretty much palpable, despite the kilometers that separated them. It was natural, after all. The stakes were pretty high, and nobody liked betting on the losing horse; which was why, the message that followed suit wasn't... all that surprising. A small smirk took over Amelie's features. She couldn't have gotten a better result, even if she had planned for it. "I see." A coy, almost innocently ignorant reply ensued. "When everything seemed to be going well, my help wasn't an option. It was unneeded. But now, you come in and say 'I'm taking the deal' and give me instructions as if I couldn't understand how dire the situation is at the moment. Fine, fine; very well. I'll just let you know that my price changed overnight. Supply and demand, you know?" She made a small pause; the brunette was milking this situation for all what it was worth. "Despite the blatant disrespect, I feel a bit generous at the moment; given how you're in a bit of a pinch, we'll discuss my fee once this conflict is over. Time is of the essence; I better get going." Dropping the pen and following the instructions given was a simple task. And, if everyone did everything well enough, Amy would begin to feel the pull of whatever translocation device was supposedly employed to bring her to the wedding that wasn't much of a wedding anymore. Once that sensation began to become a bit too obvious, an arc of fractal code would swirl around her right hand. An evolution was performed before she was finally pulled through space. Time to bring in the heavy artillery. From the other side of the tunnel, Heraldmon's massive bulk would emerge; the monstrosity didn't need to gauge the situation; it knew it more than well, just as what was the optimal course of action to solve it in a timely and efficient way. In a show of swiftness unbefitting the digimon's massive bulk, the perfect-level charged at the Gorimon, its every membrane crackling with red arcs of electricity. Brox would have to think quickly unless he wanted to get roasted!

Post by Kazuya and Royland on Jan 4, 2019 12:36:50 GMT
The situation was very terrible for Kazuya and Royland, nothing went nearly as well as they had hope. But Kazuya still knew that he needed to evolve Roy to Champion and so he did, ClearLöwemon was ready to act so when brox tried to pin him Royland crossed his arms to brace for any type of impact Brox will be able to dish out. But with his back to the wall Royland did not know what to do, except for one option and that is to use his legs, and in an instant Roy's legs were covered in violent lightning and in a swift motion Roy aimed to use this lighting to kick Brox in the stomach hopefully dealing damage but most importantly stun his enemy long enough so Roy can take a couple of steps back and ready a battle stance with his battle spear.
As for Kazug. ya the man took cover in the nearest place he could find, as he was frankly helpless and after hoping for Yoshi and his army to show up for back up and well they did not, Kazuya felt nervous, but luckily for the golden eyed man he got new information from Luke and possibly a new ally Kazuya felt a little relieved. "Ok so that's what I gotta do, very well then. Lets hope things work this time." Kazuya mumbled to himself as he followed all of the instructions Luke had relayed to him and boom someone did appear.
Kazuya watched as the new digimon that appeared immediately started to fight and trying to turn the tides, and in that instant Kazuya realized how much he missed the days where he was nothing but your average everyday car salesman, but it is what is. The man continued to watch the battle as he wanted it to end as fast as it started.
COMBAT LOG :
Thunder bolt : ClearLöwemon charges his leg with a concentrated electricity before performing a swift kick that deals moderate damage both physical and elemental.

This was it. Dash knew it. Mao knew it. Even Rique seemed to know it. “NO! WAIT!”
The desperate shout for mercy of the ape was eclipsed by Mao’s war cry. Even in his very worn out state, Dash showed a small grin. It was definitely amazing to see how the shy, almost not talkative girl who he had met some hours ago back in the hideout had become this brave, merciless warrior. In a mission where so many soldiers had failed to them, the glassed girl had fought until the end, never giving up, and that was much appreciated. A scream of pain that escaped Rique slowly deluded, as his data was torn apart from Vemmon’s vicious attack. However, while he disappeared, he managed to say one last thing. “You’ll all pay for this!”Vemmon would find impossible to absorb Rique’s data. This was of a strange, yellow color, and it only drifted into the sky, quickly escaping from the hole that had been made up the roof just some minutes ago. To the floor, the bodies of the three Koemons that had merged with Rique fell. They were completely unconscious. It was as if the mass of data that had absorbed them was gone, so they had returned to their normal bodies. Alongside them, an extenuated Dash fell too, now that the body he was previously gripping on was gone. After some seconds where everything that just happened should sink in Mao and Dash’s heads, the hare would slowly start to stand up, having a bit of trouble to do it. Once he was up, he stared at the previous slaves, who were now recovering consciousness. “I think this wasn’t the full Rique. Just the representation of the data that was previously stored in these Bearmon and Grizzmon’s bodies. While he still has bits of data stored in other digimon, the data can always return to him. It's definitely an amazing ability.”He then glared at the alien for a second. “That was amazing. You m-“ The hare was interrupted by the beeping sound of the transistor, which was currently lying on the ground. I can’t believe it! You made it! How did you even…? Forget it, I don’t need to know. You managed to defeat that monkey without causing an avalanche. Now you must find a way of blowing that warehouse up and taking that transportation to the wedding. And MOVE! Group B needs you more than ever! “Do you have any idea on how to blow this thing up?” Dash asked Mao. Letting his body fall on the ground, taking a sitting stance. “You have… freed us.” One of the Grizzmon’s managed to utter, noticing none of them had any collars anymore. “We’re eternally grateful.” The bear bowed to the duo respectfully, while some of the others followed. “We’re in huge debt with both of you.”
While this conversation took place, a small shy-looking Bearmon approached Vemmon and Dash, walking slowly, and a little fearful, even. “Excuse me… did you happen to see a Bearmon outside this warehouse before you arrived? One of us managed to escape earlier today, and we don’t know where he might be. He’s my best friend, and if he’s still out there, he might still have his collar. That makes me worried.” The ursine lowered his gaze. Was it a time to tell the truth or…?
Brox’s countenance turned into an angry one, upon seeing Royland evolve. “That won’t do!” However, the warrior was quick, and managed to strike the monkey with a brutal kick, sending him various steps back. The good thing for Brox? He knew what to protect against now. “Unbreakable Shield: Electricity!”From his gun, a white-colored smoke started coming out, covering the ape’s body. When it vanished, his pelt was glowing in a purple color. “Good luck trying that again now."The small gap of time they had allowed Kazuya to have, definitely had taken its toll on the group of monkeys. A new enemy was now inside the Ceremony Hall, and it was charging directly against the Gorimon. Brox was barely able to turn towards the creature before it was completely over him. “So fast!”
This new digimon, that looked like a giant aberration, was now releasing a discharge of electricity against the gorilla, trying to completely burn him down. However… it was not working. The Gorimon was completely unharmed by this attack and his purple pelt only glowed brighter. Nevertheless, he was still a bit startled by the monster's speed. Everyone inside the hall had managed to remain calm during this first faceoff between Royland and Brox, since it seemed to be just one digimon causing trouble. Now that a giant monster none of these digimon recognized had appeared, the panic had spread throughout all the guests. An outbreak of digimon was now trying to escape through the only door of the hall, that was being guarded by Tina and Nita, who were obviously having trouble holding them off. "Hey! Wait! Please try to remain calm!"“Who the hell are you!? How you dare to cause such chaos in this wedding!?” Enough was enough. Ralph threw Moe to a side, and stepped up. “This will be done in a jiffy!” He raised both arms into the air. An overwhelming amount of energy started circling around his body. The palms of his hands started glowing to then... Just like he had been struck by something, Ralph’s vision began to get dizzy. Someone had turned off the lights inside of his head, and the sleepiness he was previously feeling had turned into unbearable grogginess, that didn’t even allow him to stay afoot. Ralph’s golden armor hit the ground, along with all of his body, cracking the tiles. Ralph was out. “Sir! What…?” Brox, who was still facing off against Heraldmon, tried to run towards his leader. However, another sound caught his attention. It came from the roof. It sounded like... glass, shattering. "Get out of my way!" Still remaining very close to the monster, the Gorimon shot a massive wave of energy from his canon against Heraldmon, attempting to jut her off and gain some distance. From their transistors, Kazuya and Amelie (if she weren’t a deaf digimon right now) would listen to Tip. His voice was flurried and agitated, unlike his usual self. LISTEN—EVERYONE! – I DON’T KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON! -— I THINK IT’S ONE OF MOE’S BROTHERS --- IT TURNED INTO…! The whole glass roof about the room burst into shards as an enormous, dark creature, fell into the center of the hall. It was so massive, so heavy, it completely destroyed all of the wooden benches and tiles, just by its weight falling over them. The giant beast roar’s echoed throughout the hall, scaring the guests even more, as they all ramped against the door, trying to get it open. As a rampaging monster, it started destroying everything on his way. Brox just stared at the situation develop, terrified. Even the members of the music band had started running. The guards were running everywhere. Some of them tried to contain Royland. Some others tried to calm the guests. Some of them approached the giant Madleomon destroying everything in the middle of the room. Complete. Chaos. Battle Log: [Passive ability] One two-step: Every time Brox uses 'Unbreakable Shield', he can use another active ability the same turn. Unbreakable shield: Brox declares an element, energy source, or attack pattern. His pelt glows in a particular color, depending on what he declared. During two turns, any damage coming to him from an attack of that type is reduced to 0. Two posts cooldown. Bang Bang Bang!: Brox shots a massive wave of energy from his canon to an enemy. If Unbreakable Shield is on, this technique causes 20% more damage. Time: 10:40 pmYou beat Rique at the warehouse!Secondary Objective completed: Ralph has been neutralized. "Come at me anytime you want, you simian piece of shit! I'll kill you as many times as I have to! We'll RIP YOU LIMB FROM LIMB ENOUGH TIMES TO FORM A PILE!" Vemmon yelled, uncaring whether or not Rique could be loaded. The alien just wanted the monkey gone.
And gone he was. Vemmon turned to Dash, and upon his explanation, nodded a few times. "Threat still stands. Anyways! Pooh Patrol, we've got a job to do. My associate here and I have a party to help crash at the palace and you're cordially invited to help us bother those monkey bastards!"
Then the other Bearmon came up. And asked about his friend.
You know. The one Vemmon (and maybe Mao a little bit) killed. Nobody should ask why the Vemmon started crying but she knelt a little to give the Bearmon a hug. "...He tried to help us get here but the Koemon ended up killing him. I'll...Keep you safe for him. That's a promise."
Guilt was pretty strong right now. When Vemmon released the little bear, the alien peered around. "...Oh. Before we go. I'd like to ask a question--Is there anything we could use to make sure this place gets blown to hell when we get out?"
