Honestly she wasn't sure what she was expecting from this.
A simple job for her to do as she had very little that she could really do. She was still somewhat recovering from her escapade from a few weeks past meaning she wasn't completely at full strength but that didn't much matter. She had been told that the digimon causing the disappearances probably was just some feral digimon that was lucky to get the drop on people.
She would be going in with full knowledge of this and would of course act accordingly. So why did it feel like she was in the middle of a graveyard while stepping through the jungle. No birds were making calls, no fluttering. Just dead silence through and through.
The white furred shutmon padded through the area, ears taught and straining to hear anything other than this baffling silence. The last time she had been here it had been a bustling mess of sounds and creatures moving around. So she was uncertain what she should be really expecting.
Considering that the day wasn't even halfway over didn't make this any better; the lack of rain and cloud cover didn't much matter while under the canopy but that still made her extremely nervous. The day just felt still; there wasn't even a wind to make the jungle feel any less problematic.
Sighing a bit the shutmon took a seat on a large exposed root and started to tune through her radio frequencies while slowly turning her head to either side.
"I should of asked if there was any migration seasons going on... This is just wrong."

The Jungle moved with an odd sway, as though something was wrong not just on it's surface... but deep within it's roots. The sounds of the Jungle were not heard, and rather, an eerie silence was all that was given to those who dared ventured in it's depths. Whatever had this Jungle, be it an invisible force or a creature of ill intent, dug it's heels in and dared anyone to come in and uproot it's influence. Many answered that call, with confident songs of triumph and a willingness to face a possible death. Many met the latter, turning their songs into screams, and their screams into silence.
Now, a new voice sang. A familiar voice. One that perked their ears of the skull faced fox as he violently rose from his slumber within the thick, red plaque that K would begin to see as she entered. That plaque would drip from the very trees and throb outwards, slowly growing at her presence. Soon, the newcomer would be very much aware of it, and within seconds, the mental threats that the plaque would give off; Feelings of unease, an urge to look behind you and faint nausea would soon become very real.
Two Yaksamon stood where there had been nothing but air not seconds ago. Raising their swords in a manner that suggested only one thing:
Death.

It took her far too long to notice that stink; too long to notice the strange plaque dripping and throbbing at her mere presence. She'd flick her ears slightly and turn her head to find that the plaque had made itself know; slowly but certainly did her eyes widen and just as she found a frequency that she could use she had to cut the radio. If she alerted too many people there would be a panic.
That would explain the differences instantly; it would bring wave upon wave of individuals trying to solve this for themselves. They'd try to use it to boost whatever standings they had at the risk of losing everything. She knew humans, she knew digimon and she knew the politics that others seemed to have when dealing with this horrid thing.
She could feel those mental threats, the feelings of unease. The urge to look behind her was something she couldn't ignore. Something in her gut or perhaps just the red plaque's way of testing her somehow ended up yielding her the sight of two Yaksamon.
There was zero hesitation as she kicked off the root away from them. In one smooth motion her swords flipped forward into attack mode while their host twisted, turned and shifted to face her 'foes'.
"Tch... it was wrong to come here alone."
Honestly she should of at least brought Joseph with her but honestly the kid probably wasn't the sort that could fight against the D-reapers very well. She had practice with creatures under control. If she was right they'd charge after her almost immediately... Which if they did she had a very nasty plan.

As the pure, clean intruder wondered about in their masters lands, the Yaksamon wondered just what this fox was looking for... just what she thought would happen when she stepped through that entrance. A step into hell. They would approach slowly at first, then move with a sudden vigor that was a bit faster than those of their level. Looking to stab the intruder directly in her shoulder and in her leg. This was, their master could infect her that much easier.
Kajunemon growled as he watched his minions approach, then take aim after the intruder, no, the prey. The skull-faced fox licked the edges of the skull around his mouth with that sickly black tongue, leaving a trail of slime that oozed to the ground below. Pooling in a hiss as he tightened the grip with his sword. These two were overzealous, but maybe that's what was needed. This one felt weak, but also as though something else was hiding.
As the Yakasamon turned their swords to impale their aimed parts, they laughed, almost mocking the future agent. If she only knew what their master had planned of her...

The two individuals in front of her were obviously infected, in their mannerisms and in the way they moved. She'd narrow her eyes a little bit as their sudden vigor was enough to close that gap between the three of them. But they wouldn't find her an easy prey. She could feel something else around, something stronger but she couldn't really tell where it was. Just simply that it was here and was watching them.
Huffing in irritation she'd let that gentle light of digivolution consume her body; the area grew stiff in the silence that followed. The form that took the shutmon's own was much grander, much more than she ever could of been. Wolfish no doubt, powerful no doubt. It's armored form offering it protection against most; but D-reapers weren't that simple.
The omegashutmon's hands shot forward; and would the Yakasamon's not avoid her grasping hands they would quickly find their necks in her crushing grip. Which would be quickly followed by her slamming both of them onto the ground with force enough to cause a small crater for each of them.
She was not that kind of prey.
It was frustrating really, to come out here to find infection. In such a place that was supposedly pure. She had been told by many that she had been going on a fool's errand. Something that wasn't worth it; but this made her wonder. What was she dealing with exactly? She didn't see any actual agents like back in the dark area but... She couldn't help but shake this feeling.

The first Yakasamon was smart, lucky even and managed to jump out of the way, landing roughly several meters to the side. The second, however, met his end as a single blade punched clean through his mask, leaving his lifeless body hanging at the end of her weapon. The other didn't flinch! It aimed to cleave that arm clean off with a sloppy strike upwards.
But as the first one's body would eventually fall, a strange, red like goop would snake up to his corpse and violently push into his head, looking to mend his wounds as best as the D-Reaper could. The fallen Yaksamon would stand up, it's head and mask a bright, aggressive red color that glowed in the dark. It's lifeblood still leaking from it's head.
This wasn't all, however. The fox kept in the shadows, with only his piercing white eyes visible from the darkness. Two Angewomon, both wearing red straps instead of white, with pulsing red veins glowing in the dark cavern took aim. Both shot their arrows in the opposite direction, directly for the Wolf's head! While the uninjured Yakasamon moved to impale her clean through her core! The seriously injured one stumbled as though it was pulled from a zombie film and stumbled it's way to her, slowly regaining it's dexterity and agility.
K would have to think quick, lest she join these in servitude!

That first yakasamon would earn just a simple glance as the other was punched through in a surprising manner. She'd raise her brow a little bit and look at her hand for a brief instance. She'd catch that blade with a pair of fingers and twist looking to slice the other clean in two!
She honestly wasn't expecting to see the fallen one to stand up especially after a hit like that. Frowning a little she'd consider her options, she could freeze the area and make these two flash frozen. Or she could just whittle them down as they likely couldn't match her.
Though whatt she wasn't expecting was the two shots from the angewoman, digimon that she didn't expect. Projectiles she didn't expect. She felt one punch into the side of her head and the other managed to go through her cheek getting stuck against her visor before it went too deep.. Snorting in irritation as the uninjured yakasamon made an attempt to stab at her core she'd backhand him away with that jarring sensation of that red stuff seeping into her.
It made it difficult to think about what she was doing, with these voices and such. But she pushed on through it and opened her mouth wide, both of the Yakasamon were in good positions for her to catch them with her breath weapon. A large cone lept forth from her mouth, freezing the ground and tree's at it traveled looking to freeze over the infected individuals.

Move: Arctic Whisper: This digimon may breath out a cone of ice. The cone is two hundred feet long, fifty feet wide and fifty feet tall. If a digimon is struck by this move the ice condenses and freezes a part of their body dealing high damage and hampers their movement for a single post. The cool down of this move is two posts. This attack deals more damage to targets already affected by an ice type move or if they are in a body of water. This move is strong enough on it's own to flash freeze immense chunks of water. Outside of combat this move can be used indefinitely. A constant effect when not in use is the cloud of frosty air she breathes out. This particular effect deals no damage but indicates when the move can be used again.

The Angewomon both smiled to eachother as they knocked a follow up arrow at the same time, only for their master to stop them with a single, bony hand that simply said; watch. Watch they did, as the back handed Yakasamon spun, cought his footing, then turned back around to try to stab into her leg, sticking her to the ground. But as he was committing to the blow, the air grew cold, and very soon the uninjured Yakasamon froze in place, and the second followed suit very soon. Unable to move, they simply froze in place, awaiting their final blows.
Kajunemon raised his arm and threw it forward, signally to let loose another volley. The Angewomon knew not to kill, only to pin, and with a simple aim for her legs, they'd look to stick her in place! One of them turned to their master, kneeing down and hugging into his stomach as she spoke;
"Let us go down there and deal with her, Master. We can handle her."
The other stood up slowly, ready to move on command. Kajunemon growled, but leaned back, tossing his hand forward, telling her to do what must be done. They smiled and flew down, landing just feet outside of the cone of ice and smiling. Knowing sound was not escaping her affect, they only blew a kiss to her. They pushed over their Yakasamon brethren and smiled, aiming their arrows again at K...
Kajunemon wondered how she'd escape this.

K wasn't surprised to see that both of the Yakasamon froze into place; she'd sigh in irritation and spin her sword a bit mulling over the fact of the arrows. Both of which remained firmly lodged in her head. She'd reach up and pull either of them out with a grunt. Which left her wide open for both of those shots aimed at her legs. They went clean through them pinning them down into place and making it difficult for her to move immediately.
Letting out an explosive breath of air, pained she'd reach down to try to pull these out. She could hear those voices clambering in her head, but the deafening roar that was silence pushed many of those thoughts to the borders. Making it a little easier for her to think about this.
That's when her targets appeared; when the both of them appeared. Angewomon's that held that red hue and bows pointed at her; arrows nocked in such a fashion that they simply answered her question of what had been shooting at her.
She didn't hesitate and brought her sword across in a brutal swing, frost growing and leaping off of her blade in a large freezing energy wave that lept out to slam against either of the angels. Arrows or not, bows or not, they held no distinct advantage to this particular mon. If they ended up getting hit by this this would hurt pretty badly, freezing and slowing them while the OmegaShutmon could follow up with something that would be marvelously painful...

Move: Mausoleum Cross: Using the physical blade that it carries as a catalyst this digimon may make slashing attacks at a range. These energy waves are freezing to the touch and if struck by them cleanly run the risk of freezing over the affected limb. Deals light damage on their own. Each hit slows a digimon down by a small amount and caps out at a large reduction. One post cool down between waves. Slow lasts for three posts and does not refresh until the next grouping.

The Angewomon flinched, and leapt out of the way, but weren't fast enough to clear the wave of ice that froze them both in place. The looks of pure shock and horror locked in their frozen visages. They reached for arrows they could not access, tried to move legs that would not respond. They were ice sculptures at best... waiting to be shattered. The Yakasamon were that as well, except they met their icy end, shattering into a thousand pieces and which melted into red goop and rain across the cavern.
The two angel digimon panicked, trying to free themselves as they were more scared of what was coming for when they saw their master again... what he would do. The struggled and struggled, tipping from one side to the other but with no avail. Now they simply wondered when their master would get involved! What he would do to her.
Kajunemon growled, watching from his throne of red plaque as the two sister failed, now nothing more than icy prey. Good, they were weak, and she was strong. She'd replace them and their duties in time. It was only a matter of waiting.
And he was very good at that.

K could feel her strength ebbing as she watched these angewoman become ice sculptures. They were weaker than what she was expecting, weaker than what she thought was watching her. She saw the Yakasamon shatter into an grim icy end. Huffing in irritation as she felt that strength continue to ease out.
She felt that strength fade away firmly as that pain seemed to spread up her legs, trying desperately to get to her core. But she pushed that aside and leaned down firmly pulling either arrow that had 'pinned' her out of the ground her feet with pained exhalations.
Stepping forward she felt that form slide off of her like a rough barrow. She looked worn out and fed up with these two in front of her, frowning a bit she'd extend her blades in her normal shutmon form. Making a wide sweep in front of her to break these angels apart.
With any luck their data would reform in a few days in the village and she could walk this off with the help of mikemon or wicked. She could feel the burning in her veins, the tugging in her mind. It made it difficult to walk even and she had to place a hand on the wall with a pained gasp.
"Tch... so simple..."

The Angewomon only let out muffled screams as they were reduced to the same fate as their Yakasamon brethren, shattering to the wind and forming into the same red goop. Which pulsed on the ground and glowed a soft red. The Yakasmon's was forming back, slowly building back into the Digimon she killed, but it would take days, even weeks for them to be at full strength. A time Kajunemon did not have.
He'd let out a terrifying roar, one that would shake the very ground they stood on as he grabbed his weapon and leapt down, not far from the injured prey. He didn't speak, he didn't blink... he only stared at her with two beady white eyes that peered from behind his skull face. She was no good to him as a warrior, she was too weak if his weakest rabble did this to her. No, she would serve another purpose.
Kajunemon would walk to her, dragging his sword across the ground as it sparked, threatening sharpness that looked as though it could cleave her in two with no effort. Which, with the power the fox held, could easily do so. He would do so slowly, methodically. Her infection would be an arduous one, but one he'd enjoy. No need to rush to her so she could make him an icy sculpture.
No... he'd enjoy this.

The muffled screams that she was given by the Anewomon made the shutmon sigh softly. She didn't enjoy this nor did she enjoy the fact that she'd probably have to do it again as she noted that the goop wasn't dissipating into blue data like she thought it would. Tapping her muzzle she'd stiffen visibly as that terrifying roar sounded; shaking the earth and making her jump back in surprise.
She stared at this creature in front of her, it's form red and ugly. That skull and sword that he had making it painfully obvious; it was a simple form yes but she could feel the power radiating from it. Growling she'd take a simple fighting stance as he started to walk to her
Dragging that sword across the ground which just made her hop back, figuring that at the very least she could avoid a slash from a weapon like that. But it didn't help when she stumbled because of those wounds, it didn't help when she felt those aches and pains of the D-reaper against her own. She felt a single intrusive thought and growled marvelously pointing at the one in front of her as though to challenge him.
She'd have to go down swinging and if she did well so be it. She couldn't hold that form any longer and it'd be painful if she did...

Kajunemon gave a chuckle, a low, deep laugh that echoed through the confines of the cavern. So low and so shocking, it was likely to give K a chill that would run slowly up her spine. He brought his sword around, leveling it to her head and striking forth in a manner so fast, if she blinked, she'd miss her own death.
But that death, if she did not move, would not come. Rather, the sword would stop mere centimeters from her left eye and the fox would simply toss the blade aside, reaching over to grab her by her temples and start pumping that infectious data so many more has felt before her. If she was grabbed... if the demon's effect took hold, she'd here a dark voice that would echo in her mind, and bounce around as though it was her only thought;
"You. Are. MINE."
From there, the fox would pull her head close to his head, letting his long, reptile like tongue ooze from it's bony holding as he ran it along her muzzle, tasting the pure flesh of the uncorrupt. Then, pushing that same muscle into her mouth, letting the infectious data spread even further.
All assuming, however, that she didn't try to escape him!

K took a step back from hearing that low chuckle come from such a beast, from the D-reaper infected individual of all things. This creature was strong and the shutmon shivered at that feeling; at that tingling. That sword was brought around so quickly that normally she would of missed it but that sword? It stopped. She'd let out an exhalation more of confusion than anything.
She'd turn her head to watch that blade get tossed aside; looking back up in confusion to see those grasping hands. During that stumble she couldn't even really resist. she felt that touch and let out a cry as she felt that infectious data started to pump into her. Hands lept up to grab at his arms and she'd struggle. That thought that pierced her mind made it hard to think, hard to act.
No...No!
Grunting as she was pulled forward the Shutmon continued to struggle and squirm in the grip of the other. She couldn't break free of this grip! She felt the touch of that oozing tongue making her gasp in pain as it too held the same corrupting touch. What she wasn't expecting it to be pushed into her mouth, forcing more of that data into her.
She struggled and squirmed; not strong enough to break free and she was finding it hard to breathe with that muscle in her mouth...
