The Spears of Megiddo. Quite the intimidating name for a place this fascinating, thought Ayumi! After so many revelations lately, she figured a little research field trip with Solomon could help her sort out her feelings and thoughts! And they might have struck gold on this island! Ruins, featuring inscriptions, telling the history of the former civilization and their legends! The Ayumimobile's motor was still purring away nearby, having scaled the treacherous volcanic road to come this far. Solomon kept his distance from the ruins. He said they give him the creeps for unknown reasons. Ayumi was confused, but did not question her partner. "Ah, this lore is so detailed! These ruins used to be a city ruled by dragons! And this Civilization was led by someone called the Justifyer! Musta been a really powerful dragon!" Solomon looked around, on edge and worried. "Yes, it does sound fascinating..." "Oh, and apparently he was opposed by a being called the Destructor!" The very word sent a spine of sheer terror down Solomon's spine. He gasped, and collapsed. What...what happened? "Huh? Solomon? Are you ok!? The girl rushed closer, to tend to her Partner. "I...am okay. I...don;t know what happened." Still, Ayumi fussed over her partner, making sure the Monodramon was laying low and resting.

This world... It was filthy. A mockery of the natural order. A shadow of what it could have been. It brought the Majiramon to tears knowing the shadows of this world grew ever more twisted with time... but finally, he would do his own part on undoing this realm's sins.
He had spent several years trying to find the reincarnation of the one who would bring everything back to null... He had not forgotten the Digimon's face all those years ago, but he could not make his move until much, much later.
... The Justifyer... He saw the damnable reincarnation of that cursed creature. Justice? This world did not deserve justice.
The Deva Digimon glided effortlessly among the skies, his keen senses causing his eyes to gleam as he smiled... Soon gently descending downward to where the pale human and Monodramon were, softly landing on the ground by where they were. "Hehe. Are you two interested in these ruins? I cannot say I blame you. It is a place with a rich heritage." the old lung mused before bowing slightly. "I have no name, but feel free to refer to me as Majiramon. I welcome you to Megiddo's ruins..."

Ayumi yipped in surprise as Majiramon landed behind her and Solomon. She turned to face them, and found a wisened-looking dragon. They looked quite friendly, all things considered! Ayumi smiled and did a polite bow. "Ah, nice to meet you, Mr. Majiramon! I am Ayumi, and this is Solomon!" The Monodramon bowed, too. He was less enthusiastic about the dragon. His face seemed familiar...but he could not place it. And yet...it filled him with a subtle, yet deep worry. "It...is nice to meet you, Sir." Ayumi rose again. "Ah, yes, we are greatly interested in these ruins! I can tell it has rich heritage, judging from these glyphs! Do you live here? Could you tell us something about them?" Her eyes were practically sparkling.

Majiramon was rather ambivalent to humans as a whole, partially as they were not creatures that were native to this realm. Curious how his patron was partnered to one, but inconsequential to his plans as a whole. The green wyrm chuckled as he leaned closer, staring at both Ayumi and Solomon. "A historian? It brings my heart joy to know some choose to not ignore the past, for how else do we prosper if we do not learn from our mistakes?" the Ultimate level mused, twirling his beard. "My ancestors once lived here, but they were fools whom disregarded the natural order of the Digital World... We live in a world of cycles, and for their to be new beginnings, there must be ends."
The Majiramon took a few steps back as he motioned the pair forward, he guiding them deeper into the ruins. "These ruins were once occupied by dragon Digimon, those whom took two separate sides. Let me ask you children. Do you know about the tale of the Justifyer and Destructor?" he spoke, his gaze directed to the blue eyed Monodramon.

Ayumi's eyes sparkled when the dragon expressed his appreciation of her research. "Oh, oh, oh yeah! We try out hardest to learn more about everything! And these ruins just burst with history! History can teach us so much!" She followed eagerly, taking notes, not really noticing Solomon's discomfort with the dragon. Ah, the Justifyer and the Destructor? "Oh, oh, I read about that in the glyphs in these ruins! Apparently they were both dragons, opposing forces of justice and destruction, one who embodies good and just leadership and the other embodying lawless chaos and destruction! They say the two are reborn every few generations, and destined to battle, with the one embodying justice and good reigning triumphantly!" All in all, a fascinating legend! Maybe there was some truth to it somewhere!

The albino human was a sweet creature... Even Majiramon's resentment of this world was able to be put aside briefly to admire their dedication to history... Indeed, history could teach them much, but only when it was made of truth. "Indeed. I am glad you have an appreciation of the past as well. I hope that you will be able to share these tales with other young ones with time." he mused as he guided the pair deeper...
They soon arrived at what appeared to be an amphitheatre of some sort, monoliths scattering the area... though there was a change in the Majiramon's attitude as Ayumi described the legend. Their smirk seemed to fade slightly at the mention of the Justifyer being a good individual, they letting out a slight growl. Hardly when all they do is prolong a sick world's existence. "Hmmhm. That IS what they say, but is the Destructor evil? No. They destroy because it is their duty, for otherwise the world would grow stagnant. For new life to be born, the present must be dismantled for the making of the future." he spoke, idly walking away from the two solemnly. "Likewise, the Justifyer is not inherently good. They don't prolong this world out of the goodness of their heart, but because it is also their role. In a way, neither can be faulted for what they do; they are both slaves to destiny."
It was then that Majiramon turned to the pair, letting out a hearty chuckle as he smiled towards Solomon. Maybe Solomon didn't recognize him, but he recognized Solomon. "It is good to see you well, Solomon... But it is time for you to embrace your destiny. The Justifyer cannot go unchallenged."

Ayumi was utterly entranced by the sheer weight of history around them! She could hardly keep up with the notes she was taking as she was walking! And Majiramon seemed so wise and knowledgeable! Though she did notice the dragon's smile vanish after her own explanation. Seems that he had a bit more of an ambiguous reading of the legend! "A-a-ah, yeah, I guess I judged too soon! Th-th-though i was just reading what was on the walls..." She looked down, but then back up when Majiramon mentioned a destiny. A...destiny? What kind of destiny... ...it all clicked into place in her mind when she saw the colour fade from Solomon's face at Majiramon's words. His expression did not change, but everything else about him showed immense fear and dread. He was shaking at the knees and sweating. ...the reason he had wanted to run away, the legend his grandmother had talked about... ...was he the Destructor after all? In spite of his definite terror, Solomon remained where he stood. "...I have no intentions of living up to this "destiny" you speak of. I am myself."

Majiramon twirled his beard with a look of amusement at Solomon's response to his call for action... Not quite the desired reaction, but he figured that there would be difficulty. This Monodramon's mind was poisoned... and he was to set it right. "Oh really my dear Destructor? I see you are still naive..." he chuckled, grinning a toothy smile as he shook his head dismissively. "You have to understand. I am not your enemy. In fact, I am your ally... Child, this world is sick. It needs to be saved, but not in the traditional sense. What it needs is a cleansing. A purge. For the Digital World to grow and prosper, it must be returned to ashes so that others may carve out a better future."
Perhaps further explanation was needed? Knowledge was a valuable tool, and these two needed to be educated. The deva turned his back around, shifting his tail to pull the pair closer to him as he began to speak to the pale-skinned girl. "Do you understand what I am saying human? It is somewhat like cutting a lawn... When grass overgrows, it becomes dense and untamed. It ruins the quality of the soil and the look of the lawn. Unfortunately, our world has overgrown beyond what we can tame."
He soon turned back to Solomon... a gentle, but wholely stern look on elderly dragon's face. "Do not be afraid child. It is a difficult burden, but you must remain stalwart and shed those pointless emotions that distract you from your purpose..." he spoke, frowning.
The prophecy must be fulfilled... It was the Justifyer versus the Destructor, but without the Destructor... the balance has been unfairly shifted. It was his duty to restore that balance... at any cost.

Ayumi blinked, taken aback. She fully understood what the Dragon was getting at, but...it was insane! You can't just fix the world like you could fix the lawn! And Solomon...he was the key to this? She suddenly remembered what Solomon's grandmother had told her. The prophecy. That accursed thing that had made Solomon's life hell. And this guy was trying to use it for his own ends. She frowned. "Hey! You cannot just go around claiming you can "fix" the world by enacting cutting down people! That doesn't work! You're insane!" Solomon, too, shook his head. "I sympathise with your desire to better the world, Majiramon. I truly do. However, the way you intend to make it happen is wrong. You cannot right the wrongs of the world by creating more wrongs. I refuse to live up to this "Destructor" role. I will not be used to wipe the slate clean. I will gladly help you find a different way, but if you intend to keep to your path of destruction, I am afraid I will have to stop you myself."

Majiramon considered himself a bit of a wiseman... one capable of leading lost sheep back to their herd. He did not want to believe that was not the case here, but unfortunately fate appeared to think otherwise. He was genuinely shocked... His beloved Destructor was a shell of their former self it seemed.
How disappointing.
"Insane? Girl, you do not have an inkling of how important this is... I suppose I was wrong in believing a human could understand the nature of the Destructor's destiny." Majiramon spoke with a venomous tone, gritting his teeth as he squinted at the albino girl... though now he was between a rock and a hard place as to what he should do. The prophecy cannot continue like this...
It would have to be start anew.
"I see. So that is how it is." the deva mused in utter disappointment. How unfortunate. He had hoped the girl was at least understanding of the nature of this myth, but he could see where he had gone wrong. She had poisoned his Destructor's mind... venomous thoughts of sentimentality and morality. There was much else he could do now... "Forgive me, my lord." the drake sadly mused... before the strands of his facial hair glew with shining light.
"Treasure Arrow." the dragon spoke as he crossed his hands in prayer... a endless barrage of light arrows fired at the pair.
Majiramon is attacking both Solomon and Ayumi with Treasure Arrow.
Treasure Arrow - A signature ability of Majiramon, Majiramon attacks foes by turning the strands of hair he has into deadly arrows of light, bombarding them from even great distances.

Ayumi recoiled at Majiramon's venomous rhetoric. She really must have hit a sore spot. But...his plans *were* crazy! You can't just wipe the slate clean like that! And then, Majiramon attacked too! Within the blink of an eye, Solomon was enveloped in light, and digivolved to Devidramon, grabbing Ayumi and pulling her out of harm's way, hissing as some of the arrows grazed his wing enough to cause damage. And yet, under the anger over his attack on his tamer, he still felt bad for the dragon. "Majiramon...I am sorry it has come to this, that life has driven you to do this. But I cannot forgive you if you attack my tamer." He lifted one of his arms, which was enveloped in black sparks. "Dark Gale!" The sparks arced into black lightning bolts, which aimed straight for the opposing Dragon!
Solomon digivolves to Devidramon. Solomon takes damage on his wings from Treasure Arrow.
Solomon uses Dark Gale: Dark Gale: Devidramon shoots a stream of black lightning at an opponent.
