"Oh, c'mon! You're the pretty one with that nice, thick coat of yours!"
Holly was just so positive! She was nervous at first, but Syre was very quickly growing used to her sister, at least at this early stage, gently ruffling a paw over the top of her head. She was so curious about everything - and heck, she knew how to fish! That was something that Syre hadn't tried yet!
"I... um... well, 'board games' or 'card games' are these, um... well, they're like games you can play at a table! Each has their own set of rules, and with card games you can make up your own, sometimes! Its hard for me to explain it, but... you fish?"
That was much more interesting to her! "What's the biggest thing you catch, then? You cook them or do you just throw them back?"
"Holly's attitude is infectious, I see." Mikemon gave a smile to K, giving a chuckle towards the kids. "Though I can imagine Holly being a lot more energetic than Syre..."

"You think so?"
Holly blinked and looked down at her fur brushing at it; while she didn't know what warranted a pretty looking coat of fur or not she would at least have to listen to her older sister right? They probably knew better than she did after all. The meicoomon wriggled her ears as the ruffling of her fur took place on the top of her head. The members of this family were fairly physical as far as affection went it seemed!
"That meanst there's a lot of options right? I wouldn't mind learning if you're willing to teach me how to play! There weren't many games open for me to do in the village and not many kids wanted to play with me for some reason. I think they were afraid of new kids or something. Yes! I fish! I uh. Well it's one of the only things I really know how to do but it's a lot of fun!"
The little meicoomon bounced a little bit; her grin spreading ear to ear again as she got to talk about what amounted to her favorite thing. It would be odd if she kept this love for such a simple activity but it was also things like this that could shape digimon into interesting beings.
"Biggest thing was a uh... Was about the same size as me? It was really grumpy so I had to throw it back. I don't cook what I catch I just toss them back because they yell at me or make swipes at me with my tail."
The renamon let out a small chuckle and nodded rubbing a hand over her muzzle as she watched the two kids interact. She was glad they were getting along but she also wasn't terribly sure how it'd go in the long run. But they'd have to learn that the hard way wouldn't they?
"It seems so, she's full of energy and is really friendly. It might ease up as she grows; I can't imagine her being like this when she's my age..."

It must have run in the family! Syre's head-scratching, Holly's tackle-hugs, K's closeness to her family as a whole... it was such a wholesome bunch, all things considered! The BlackGatomon gave a smile as Holly expressed her interest in card games - and had her eyes open in astonishment at Holly's biggest catch!
"As big as you? I mean, I know fish can get that big... but it must have been pretty tough to reel in!" Syre gave a chuckle, just a bit surprised that Holly hadn't thought to keep any of them. Maybe she just wasn't allowed at the Village of Beginnings, or maybe she simply didn't want to upset the fish? Honestly, it sounded more like the latter. "You'll have to take me along, sometime! Maybe I can show you how to cook them, or something..."
"Heh, you two just get along quite well, don't you?" Mikemon stepped in - honestly, he was glad this was going this well. He was afraid that he would be stepping in when Syre stomped off, but now the two just didn't want to step apart! "And I don't mean to intrude, but K and I do need to show Holly her room... hm. I guess we'll just have to use the corner one for now, K?" It was about all they had left, they were quickly running out of space!
"Aw... alright, I'll talk to ya later, Holly!"

It was kind of amusing to think of how physical this bunch could be, to others or one another but as it went there wouldn't really be anything that would stop them from being like this! Holly perked up a little bit as Syre seemed actually pretty astonished that she was able to catch something as big as she was.
"Well it took a good amount of time to get it to come up, the line was really fighting me the whole way!"
The Meicoomon nodded it's head a few times and blinked owlishly however when the other said that they could show her how to cook them. The Meicoomon hadn't thought of cooking the fish after catching them, was that something that you would do normally?
"Yeah! It'd be fun to show you and see how you'd cook them!"
She'd blink and turn her head towards mikemon as he spoke; her ears perking and twisting to face her parents. K had stayed mostly quiet watching her children interact with a somewhat cheerful smile. She just really enjoyed watching her kids and just being around if they needed her. Much more so than before.
"Okay! See you later Syre!"
The meicoomon bounced a little bit in place and turned fully to face her parents as she was rather excited. K Herself looked rather thoughtful scratching at her muzzle before gazing down at her husband and daughters.
"For now yes, do we have a bed and desk set up in there yet or...?"
The renamon wasn't actually sure if they had that one furnished or not. She was still trying to get a good grasp of everything out and about in the library as a whole after all. She would no doubt be more familiar with her own team base when it came to fruition....

Indeed, there was a lot that Holly was going to have to learn! Card games, cooking, what life would be like in the Library - it would all be new, exciting, and perhaps at times overwhelming for the Meicoomon! For now, they tried to keep it simple.
Syre gave a nod, waving back to Holly as she, with a new skip in her step, went back to her room to get to her studies. As K asked her question, Mikemon gave a nod: "Well, a desk, at least. And it won't be hard at all to move a cat bed over into her room, I'll just have to grab one from the storage closet..." And heck, if Holly preferred a different way to sleep, they could figure something out. For now, the cat gave a step forward: "Alright, right this way, Holly!"
He'd lead on - making one stop shortly along the way to grab that aforementioned bed - before moving to the last vacant room in his section of the tower. He'd open the door, and flick on the lights, to... well, a relatively simple room. It was well lit, both with a light above and a screened window to the outside - and there was a desk, and a set of empty shelves for her to work with!
"A bit bare," Mikemon admitted, setting the bed at the side of the room, "But you can make it however you like. This room is, well, yours, after all!"

And learn these things Holly would; it might be a touch overwhelming for her at times with just how much of the world she didn't know after all but she'd have to take it in stride or at least take time to think things over. She was glad her parents were keeping things simple for her starting out sure, but she also couldn't help but think about the other things here. Holly would grin a bit and watch her sister go back to her room for her studies; though she wasn't sure what her sister was studying for she'd probably have to ask about that!
K flicked an ear and considered briefly what her husband said. He wasn't wrong on that amount after all it wouldn't even take that much to move and re-arrange as needed considering who all lived here. If something was heavy well... the parents were capable of so much more than their children at the moment.
"Shouldn't be too hard then. Here's hoping she doesn't mind..."
The renamon chuckled while the Meicoomon turned to her father blinking a bit before following her father. The renamon herself trailed behind; mulling over what would be good for food for Holly and what wouldn't muck up what they already had... It was fairly simple stuff. The Meicoomon looked around in the 'vacant' room for a few moments after following her father in. She'd bounce in place and get a grin from ear to ear.
"It's got plenty of room for stuff! That's fine! I wasn't expecting my own room! I can already see it sort of lining up. Am I going to do studies like Syre?"
There was somewhat of a thoughtful pause before her question though the green eyes turned to look at her father once more. Her mother calmly inspecting the room; she'd probably have to help clean it later as they hadn't been using this room for much of anything....

"Honestly? I don't think she minds much."
The cat chuckled right back. Just as Mikemon figured, it didn't take much much to appeal to their new daughter: Holly was ecstatic to have a room at all! A room that was her's, that she could make however she wanted! At the question about her studies, the doctor gave a nod:
"Well, maybe, but you'll be doing something at least, Holly!" He gave a nod - he didn't want to put too much on her at once! "Syre's always been good at books and that sort of thing. I want you to do what makes you happy... while, um, still doing something with yourself! Whether that's learning how to fish or read or whatnot, we'll figure it out, alright?"
He gave Holly a small pat on her head, smiling to the Meicoomon. "Try and be whatever you want to be. And don't think you have to know what that is, just yet."

K let out a small chuckle and shook her head; of course holly wouldn't mind. If anything it seemed like she was more focused on the fact she had a room than what was currently in the place. It brought a good smile on her face watching the Meicoomon bounce around looking at the few things that were here and tilting their little head to figure out what they could do with what they had.
"That sound's like fun! And books? Mei? I'd uh... need to learn how to read first I'd think."
The meicoomon blinked a few times and looked thoughtful; she didn't know much about the world or what it held. What made her happy? The Meicoomon didn't really know; well she knew what made her happy now. But down the line she couldn't really know. Letting out a soft sound she'd wriggle her tendrils and stare at her father.
"All right, I think I'm going to go to sleep.. I'm really tired."
The meicoomon rubbed her eyes a little bit and wriggled her ears at being patted on the head. She'd return that smile and tilt her head again. She wasn't sure still what she wanted to be; but there were probably tons of options that'd be fitting for her!
"I'll think about it a little Da! I'm... There's not a lot I know so I shouldn't make a choice like that this early right? I'm only three days old after all..."
Holly let out a small laugh and trotted over to her bed, getting comfy in it the meicoo's ears stayed perked up until she fell fast asleep....

"Heh... you'll get the hang of it, Holly."
Encouragement was the best thing for her right now! Letting the Meicoomon explore the room as she wanted, the doctor's ear gave a twitch at that sudden declaration: she wanted to sleep? It was only a little bit into the evening, but, the doctor wasn't going to deny her what she needed! "Alright, then. I hope you sleep well, and have pleasant dreams, Holly." He gave a light pat over the Meicoomon's head...
... And of course, she had a point. She didn't know much at all - though the fact that she knew that much was already quite impressive! Her dad gave a nod, and as she simply settled in, and fell asleep, Mikemon took but a moment to peer over her, before silently stepping out of the room with the Renamon.
There, in a whisper, he'd give a nod towards the Renamon. "Such a delight, she is. Though she's going to be on top of us all the time!"
