Honestly what was she supposed to say in this regard? What was she supposed to do? She had learned out of everything that not only did she have one child, but that she had two? A BlackGatomon that she was more aware of than the second; no...
The first
Child that she had.
Looking through it, she wasn't sure where he would of come from. The renamon and mikemon had only done something of that variety twice. Both times had yeilded results then? Perhaps the reason why she hadn't noticed it was because of the stability of her data at the time.
With a sigh she'd take a seat at one of the rooms meant for public use. She wasn't sure just how far into the library she could really go. Not to mention that not too long ago she had made quite a mess of the place. Making it somewhat awkward to be here.
She had to consider some things; like how was she supposed to raise two children? Of varied minds and intellects? How was she supposed to keep up with the two of them? Biting down on her lower lip she'd open one of the few books from her infinity storage and crack it open.
It was some human book about human dishes and how to prepare them. She had quite a few of these 'novels' and she particularly enjoyed looking through them along with going over how to properly make the things. The books former did a good job at explaining how to do all of the recipes inside of them but this one in particular was more geared towards people that preferred meat in their diet. Something that would be important for two foxes and two cats.
"Fish would work well enough for the two of them once or twice a week.. rotate to some kind of beef for the other... though I suppose that depends on what they like too. Should probably ask..."
The renamon shook her head and leaned to start taking down notes on the recipes. Things she'd change, amounts she'd have to tweak with. Some of the instructions seemed silly so she'd write those down and ask someone that knew more of cooking than she did if these steps were really needed...

Today was the the day. For months now Siris had only heard stories of his mother, seen pictures. After being evacuated with his little sister from the Library from his own mother’s attack, and from the travels back; He was more than excited. However, Syre had met their while she was still recovering. The young fox decided to leave the Library and explore... not fully ready to see his mother. Not in that state. The Library itself was large enough to accommodate them and had plenty of public places. His father had told him where to meet K, and the entirety leading up to this point had been nothing but anxious waiting. Finally, walking up the steps of the building, that time had come.
He gave a sigh, his breath pushing the flowers he had gathered for K that were firmly wrapped in his paw. He was unaware most of them were weeds and still had dirt and roots attached, but he wanted to make her happy! Dad has said how much she liked nature and such, he figured this was a step in the right direction! Siris walked to the public area and pushed the door open, folding his ears to his skull as he looked around. He had seen her picture many times, she shouldn’t be too hard to find. Then his heart skipped a beat. There she was. A beautiful white fox, reading from a book and gingerly flipping the pages. She was even more pretty than the pictures made her out to be and her fur was a brilliant shade of gray-ish white. He saw her mark, same as his and smiled a bit.
He then gently walked over, careful not to disturb her reading until he finally spoke, likely pulling her attention away from the text on the page;
”M-Mom?”

Honestly K wasn't expecting her children to be told very much about her past little tidbits and what she sort of did. She wasn't honestly sure how she was supposed to approach either of her children; in one way or another. Syre had honest to god made her sob in relief and happiness; butt she wasn't sure if she'd have the same reaction as seeing Siris. She hadn't been expecting it; had a little time to prepare herself even.
But it didn't change the fact what she had to do as a parent or what she felt deep in her core. She would find out firmly when she saw the child; she could guess and guess and guess... but she wouldn't truly know how she felt until seeing them.
So as she turned her pages, wrote down notes she was far too distracted to hear the padding of the other fox. The gentle steps of what would be her first child if only by a month or so. However when she heard him speak she felt her core jump in her chest. Turning her head a little bit she'd blink a few times before gingerly pulling her hood back to get a better look at the renamon in front of her.
She felt her heart wrench and she'd stop what she was doing giving a somewhat soft smile to what she presumed was siris.
"Siris I take it? You're taller than I thought you'd be... Let me get a look at you!"
The renamon would slowly stand and gesture for the other to come to her.. She wanted to take a look at what would be her son. She was a lot calmer than when she had met syre, but lord could she feel her core thumping in her chest. It looked like he had something for her, but that could wait! She could feel the tinge of excitement somewhere deep.
This was one of her children all right... she could just feel it.

Things were moving fast, faster than Siris anticipated. His mother gestured and he followed, keeping his ears folded as he looked up at her. His heart beating in his ears. Instantly, as soon as she visually made her own confirmation, he collapsed into her chest. Laying his head on her main and gently sobbing. He nuzzled into her and then looked up, his large, fluffy tail swished back and forth as he watched her. He wanted to keep his eyes on her as he spoke through his tears:
”I... I can’t believe you’re here. I can’t believe this at all... I missed you!”
He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tight, continuing to nuzzle into her as he sniffed, only leaning his weight on her continuously until she broke from the hug. He would turn his head, listening to her core thump and taking comfort in this embrace and enjoying as though he wouldn’t be able to after this.
”I- I’m so glad you’re okay. I-I was worried. With the Library and the attack and all of that. I...I defended Syre as best I could. S-sorry for talking so much, mom.”
He kept his head turned as he spoke, only listening to her core as he closed his eyes. He didn’t care who watched. He wanted to make his mom happy!

K took a few moments to stare at the other renamon. He collapsed against her in such a fashion that surprised the white fox but it didn't stop her from gently cradling the younger digimon. She felt bad for not being there; for not picking him up like syre. She had failed in that regard but with how her data was at the time... Well. She'd smooth his fur down and gently wipe away his tears even going so far as to give the younger fox a very gentle hug.
"It's all right.. It's all right."
Was all that she could manage for a little bit. He likely had to wade through things on his own for a bit, trying to struggle and take things as they were. She'd keep the hug going for a little bit eventually having to break from the hug because of how she was sitting. She'd close her eyes and sigh as he spoke about the library along with the attack on it.
"Well that's good, I'm glad the both of you weren't hurt in the attack. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if you were. Trust me Siris; it's all right. Chatty is better than just long awkward silences."
K let out a smooth chuckle and gently ran her hand through the fur on the top of the youth's head. There was very littel she could do to praise him at this point; she hadn't learned enough but the fact that he was so attached already made her wonder if that was part of the stability issue she had way back when or something else that had developed in the mean time? Gently she'd cup either cheek of her son's and crane her head to take a good look at him.
"Looks like you've been eating well enough... are you hungry? Been keeping busy? Where did you go once you were free to leave the village? Take a seat, we can talk and in a bit I can fix us something to eat~"
While no pro chef the renamon had worked in an inn for a thousand years. She had to fill where the kitchen lacked and it had lacked for a long time up until canton had stepped in. So at the very least she could cook wholesome meals filled with love for those that she wanted to...

While lost in the bliss of his mother's embrace, the young fox finally let himself be pulled away, and even leaned into the hand that gently held the side of his head. He let out a content sigh, then flinched a little at the questions. Well, namely one.
Where did you go once you were free to leave the village
He didn't want to tell her that he followed a gang for a short while. He didn't want to admit that he helped them hurt people and when he tried to speak up, he was beaten and tossed. It was a failure he had to keep to himself. He had to. But, he could answer as best he could, trying to hide his shame;
"I...I'm a little hungry." he said with a tinge of embarrassment, then folded his ears to respond to the next questions. "Dad's been keeping me busy with education stuff. History of The Core, The Skies, Dark Area, what's known anyway."
He sighed, looking away, "I, uh, made some friends! They... helped me." he drifted off a bit, thinking about those poor Digimon he help hurt. But raised his ears as soon as he heard his mother offer one to him and could hardly contain himself. He watched her as one would expect a child to, so excited to just see her do anything and even more so to be in the same room as her!
Life was pretty great for the fox!

K blinked a little bit when she felt siris flinch at her question. Had something happened that he didn't approve of? That he didn't like? What was it that was wrong. She'd lean down just a bit and place her head ontop of his for a moment; pulling him firmly in a hug. Trying to make him feel safe. Trying to make it feel okay.
What had happened?
The renamon shifted slightly as the youth spoke; admitting that he was hungry. That his father had been keeping him busy with education; Mostly history or at least of what had been known. Ontop of which he even added that he had made friends. Though that seemed a touch off....
"Well good. I'll see if I can figure something out. It's all right Siris. Learn anything interesting in them? Things that stand out? that kind of thing?"
The renamon leaned back to look at her son; staring at him quietly for a few long moments. He had made friends; they had helped him. She should honestly be thankful that Siris was okay.
"They kept you safe right?"
Honestly she would of been worried to hear that he was roaming on his own, doing nothing but waste away in the regret or the hate towards parents that never came. But instead he was blessed with the luck of friends and family!
"Wish I could introduce you to some of mine, but... they're spread pretty thin. Good people; all of them."

How could he explain his lessons with Mikemon? Definitely not easy, that was for sure. Syre was a pro at books and reading about the world's history. Siris left a lot to be desired. While he could read script somewhat, the human language of English came to him with little to no problem. One of the 'friends' told him some Digimon are born that way, like a code shifted in their Data while they were developing in the egg.
Siris sighed and winced as his mother spoke. He shouldn't have used 'Friends' in such a endearing term. Those Digimon were anything but. Infact, he now knows they're nothing more than gang leaders who trick young Digimon into their ranks, and once they've been busted; They're in that life for good. Siris was smart, however. He got out when he saw it for what it was... but not unscathed. He was beaten and battered for it... Still, the questions were hanging out to be picked with an answer;
"Sort of...? They showed me how to survive in the wild, at least. But, well... I don't know if I'd really call them friends."
The fox sniffed a bit, wiping his eyes, trying to stay tough in front of his mother, but then smiled as he heard her offer to meet some of her friends;
"L-Like The Ronin of the Skies?"
That was oddly specific!

"Ah. I know the sort that you mean. Acquaintances, survivors of sorts. If they taught you anything you feel uncomfortable using just let me know, I don't mind teaching you things siris."
K gave her son a somewhat bright smile and leaned just a little bit quirking a brow quietly at the oddly specific query. She had never heard of this individual before and doubted that she had ever met someone such as them. Rubbing her chin thoughtfully she'd shake her head slowly.
"Can't say I've ever heard of someone like that; not even in the older books I kept in the inn. Then again most books I kept there were from whitewater or collectives from the eastern timberlands."
The renamon stretched and slowly stood up from her seat; gently patting the other on the top of the head. There was so much that she could go over and so much that she could teach this youth. She didn't really know how to address it and she couldn't help but wonder why he was so huggy or why he seemed to tear up easy. Was it something that he might of picked up from her gentle nature? She knew mikemon didn't do stuff like this now, but what sorts of natures did he have when he was younger? More things she'd have to talk about later with her husband.
"Hmm. Did they teach you how to fight? I might have to considering everything. It won't be bad persay but I think it'd be good for you Siris."

With a sniff and a slow return to standing, Siris gave a soft, gentle sigh then looked in his still clenched paw... he was forgetting something.
Oh! The Flowers!
With a quick motion, Siris showed her the messy, dirt cover bouquet he collected and passed them to his mother; "I, uh, picked these for you. I didn't know which ones you liked..." he would then turn a bit, wiping his as she followed up with a question if he could fight.
Sure, Siris was a born fighter. Even Rosemon commented about his abilities early on, and he used it to defend one younger Digimon against bullies and... well there was another time. A time Siris regrets and wish he could go back and change. His 'friends' and their ways... With a hefty sigh, the young fox answered his mother;
"Uhm... yes and no. I've always known how to fight I just... no-one taught me." he answered her honestly. He couldn't explain his knowledge of the way of the fist, but it was just... there. Something he could understand and tap into more than other Digimon, at least. His father already tried to pull the fighter from under the fox, but Siris didn't want to hurt his sister or his father by accident! That's the last thing he'd want. He felt the same way for his mother as well;
"C-can we not fight? W-we can just go for a walk or cook?"
Not exactly rough and tumble this one!

The renamon blinked a little bit and took the flowers from the youth, there was still dirt on them. Still roots and the such, it was obvious that he had picked these himself. But he didn't know the proper care of these things and without care these flowers would die quicker than not. Giving him a somewhat cheerful smile she'd trot over to where there was a indoor planter. Normally it was used for studying plants and such but there wasn't anything there for the moment. Would be simply easy for her to replant them and move them once she could.
"They're lovely dear but they won't last very long like this~"
She'd flick her ear and she'd turn when she heard that hefty sigh. Her brow quirked a bit and she'd slowly nod. No one had taught him to fight? But he knew how to fight? Well that made sense, he was naturally born into this sort of thing as a digimon. She'd rub her muzzle thoughtfully. He wanted to go for a walk? Or cook? Well those were things she could do easily; the latter of which something she could teach easily as well.
"Mmm. It's better if it's handled sooner than later Siris. Don't worry; it's not like it'll be a serious bout or anything like that. We can still go for a walk or cook but I want to make sure you know how to defend yourself when you get into trouble. I won't be around to protect you all the time."
The renamon let out a loose chuckle and leaned to gently pat the top of her son's head. He was a timid one wasn't he? She'd hum softly and consider it, leaning down to pick up that book.
"And besides Siris, it's a good way to exercise. Practice and find out what you can do without actually hurting anyone."

With a bit of a flinch at his mom patting his head, Siris sighed. He guessed that's where he got his fighter genes from, then. With a bit of a whine to himself, the fox followed his mother as she recovered her book,
"I-if you insist, mom." he spoke with his ears folded flat to his head.
Eventually, they'd end up outside in a different place from where he sparred with Syre and Mikemon, but a still a place that was open enough for the two to test their meddle. Much to Siris' dismay;
"I... don't know about this, mom." he said, raising his fists and then breathing out, taking a defensive stance that would be a massive telltale that the fox was using a specific kind of martial arts, one that took years of dedication to master. Something he knew as an egg. With both fists up, protecting his head, his body canted ever so slightly, his legs shoulder width apart and his back foot on it's toes... the fox shifted from shoulder to shoulder, ready to spar with his mother;
"B-but if you leave me no choice?" A hint of familiarity would be in his voice, of someone K knew. Who would remain a mystery unless she herself could pick up on the scent quickly!

The renamon stretched a little bit and tilted her head slightly as her son spoke at her. She only insisted because she cared, she only wanted this because she cared. She knew he was timid, that this likely would hurt to do for him but... she felt it was the right thing to do.
"Hmm. Don't worry Dear it'll be okay."
At the sparring ring she'd look around in a fashion that was marvelously relaxed. She'd tilt her head slightly as he told her he didn't know about this; and then took a fighting stance she really didn't recognize. Something that she hadn't a clue about; but it was something that came from fighting something that went with fighting. It was easy to see that. Humming gently she'd spread her hands out to either side; a wide stance. A simple stance, one that spoke of bladework but she had no blade to speak of.
Practice, a thousand times over, in both mind and body. Something she had done in the times of her meditation and times of physical need. Something that she would teach to those within her knighthood if she got the chance.
"It's just a spar Siris, nothing to worry about. It's not a matter of choice, but a simple matter of doing."
She didn't pick up on that scent, she didn't pick up on who it could of meant by. It was just. Plain and simple to her; he was timid but knew how to fight and there was other elements that probably mixed from his father in a strange fashion. Stepping in close she'd take a soft, somewhat lax swing at her son. Just to test his reaction times...

To Siris... the whole thing happened in slow motion. He could see his mother's muscles tense, her body shift and he hand move at speeds that were agonizingly slow to him. He brought up his arm and shifted his own body to counter the blow, which, if she landed, would have stopped the punch in it's tracks. From there, the young fox would have locked her arm under his armpit, given she didn't pull away, and then push her away, breaking any form of clinch she might have tried.
"S-sorry!" he said as he dropped his guard and blinked, "I...I didn't mean that!"
It was strange, fighting his mother. Siris had never been in a proper fight, persay. He used what he knew to defend others but most were either no skilled enough to fight him or...
He blinked, he looked down at a Strabimon who's face was bloodied and swollen, who was begging him no more as he was surrounded by his 'friends' all cheering him on, all tapping him on the back and congratulating him. For what, exactly? All he did was...
He snapped back to reality, looking at his mother then shaking his head and sitting down, holding his head, tears beginning to well in the corner of his eyes, "I... I don't want to do this anymore, Mom. C-Can we stop? Please?"
It was clear that it wasn't the fact that he didn't want to do it that forced this sudden waterworks. No, something else had plagued the fox and he wasn't exactly keen on talking about it. Dad already tried. Syre already tried. Others tried. Siris couldn't... he didn't want to hurt anyone. Not anymore. Not unless it meant protecting his family.
"I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." he kept saying, but it wasn't to his mother.

He moved with a grace that was surprising to her, that he moved far quicker than most. He was able to counter the blow, locked her arm and even push her away. She'd slide back lightly on her feet musing about what had just happened. She'd stare at him quietly, looking him over thinking about his stance. His reach; his style that he gave her a little glimpse into.
"Natural reactions, programmed. Experience flows even if there's not much there."
The renamon quirked a brow at seeing her son acting like this, even more timid even more reserved than before. She'd frown quietly and tilt her head a little bit as he sat down on the ground looking as though he would cry. Sighing softly she'd shake her head slowly and step over, she'd reach down and place a hand on his shoulder.
"We'll figure something out later. For now yes."
There was a firmness in her voice, she was being gentle about it as best she could and she'd hum thoughtfully moving to step away from her son. There was a moment and she'd consider it briefly.
"Did your father or sister share what I do? What I go about and try for?"
The renamon traced her finger along the wall with a soft sigh, her form growing slightly as she relaxed. A shutmon, that's what she was now, simple and refined. Much larger, much stronger. It was something she particularly enjoyed being. Just on that crest of strength, any higher and cities would worry when she stepped in.
"What I do and who I do it for. It's never just, simple, there's never just easy facts or things. Everyone's got something they want to protect and it's hard. Harder than anything to do what you think is right to who you think it's right to do. So I want to ask you something simple Siris."
She'd look back, not tiredly, not as though she was judging him. But that soft gentle stare of a mother.
"Tell me what happened."
