It had been a while since the group had flown out of their base in the Everfalls, headed towards the city of light. It was apparent that feelings were mixed within the ship - but most seemed focused enough to carry on. At last, the ship was near enough. Multiple readings popped up on Destromon's cockpit, while the Sentrymon maneuvered around the multiple instruments easily, thanks to their flexible bodies. They worked tirelessly and with utmost care, these digimon. "The bombs have been planted successfully. The Stealth Forces have gone into hiding. Bombs are to go off at your order, Master." one of the Sentrymon announced. Majin nodded. "Master Majin! Destromon is detecting several readings, some of them are off the charts!" the other Sentrymon exclaimed. Majin simply walked forward. "It's to be expected. Sentrymon, ready Destromon's full weaponry. Majin said, pointing at several areas in the monitors. "I need suppressive fire all over the area, I don't want an enemy unit in the air. Concentrate fire upon hostiles only - those who wish to flee may do so. Start charging the Hyper Particle Cannon; our target is the Palace. Take particular care to avoid friendly fire." he said, before using a small control panel in the middle of the cockpit. The floor below the group, save for the Sentrymon manning the ship, rose up above the room and into an open area. "Destromon will open a safe path for us with his arsenal. The Stealth Forces lay hidden as we speak, in wait for a potential ambush. Our group is to either teleport or fly from here. Once we touch ground we eliminate as much of the opposing ground forces as possible - do not hesitate, the defeated will surely reform later on... Unless you absorb their data." he pointed at Louis, Bev and Joey. "The Elite will follow me as we proceed further into the Palace, then deeper into the Core, eliminating the forces as we proceed."Majin took a good look at their soon-to-be battlefield. "Do these fools possessed with false righteousness have the determination we do, when we cast our humanity aside? Do they have the same determination as us, to defeat our former comrades and seal our fate, in order to change this world!?
I say no! Not one bit. They have no determination, no resolution, no reason! They use their power for selfish purposes and drown in it! That is their limit, and the reason we are here today.Majin paused for a bit. ... We don't have a choice. The world is cruel." he said, leaning over the edge. "All of you who have lurked in darkness, waiting faithfully for this day, hear me.
The time has come. Together, let us march onward!
To the final battle, where our true enemy awaits..."The white haired tamer lifted his digivice above his head, a wide smirk filling his face. "Oh spirit of maniacal strength and chaos. I command thee. Envelop my body. Inhabit me, transform me into a great demonic god!" he shouted, as Shadow turned into black energy - the energy rising up and striking the man like lightning. Data and shadows surged around the human, as his body bulked up and transformed... Into the Fallen God, Azramon. This was it. As soon as he was done, multiple explosions rocked all over Luminas on chain reaction. Buildings, shopping malls, barracks, stables... All kinds of structures were near-instantly destroyed or set ablaze. "Vexus... Don't give in to your fears - fear will bind you to the wheel of karma eternally. the demon said, before turning black and jumping into one of Destromon's high caliber cannons. The cannon went off - a drill-like bullet being spewed out from it's tip, spinning wildly as it quickly made it's way through several buildings in Luminas before finally crashing on the middle of a plaza. As soon as he did, Destromon's cannons took their assigned positions, unleashing beam after beam at the city, taking particular care to not damage the structures the Stealth Forces were hiding in... Their main goal right now was to unleash their long range arsenal at the pockets of resistance that would potentially gather after the explosions. "Death is so fearsome." the demonic biomerge stated, as his shadow-shell lowered and shadowy tendrils shot out all around him, impaling several shocked digimon near him. The tendrils quickly retracted, as the various digimon bursted into data... Hyper Particle Cannon charged 1 turn. Alright. Here's the main attack thread. As before, a 3 day limit will be imposed. If 3 days pass without a response from the opposing side, our actions will be considered successful, be it attacks or movement, etc. Same applies to the good guys. The thread is death enabled, but we are not literally looking to player kill. It may happen, and it goes both ways, we just won't go the route of other evil teams and make things miserable for the other players above all, HAVE FUN!!!

Keramon peered down at the city of Luminas from within the great ship of a digimon. This was their destination and target, the foe that Majin had been plotting against for all this time. Finally the white haired tamer's goal was within reach and Keramon was poised to help his friend achieve that goal. Yet it was here, when there was no turning back, that Keramon felt something creep into his soul. It was not doubt, he was committed and would see this through to the end. He had come to terms with the fact that there would be much death this day, both the guilty and the innocent would fall. But Keramon was determined to take no lives unless he absolutely had to. The ideal outcome for him would be a total surrender by the Luminas forces to avoid as much bloodshed as possible. No, the worm twisting in his psyche at that moment was guilt. Despite Majin's strong words and speech, Keramon knew, he absolutely knew, that his friend was not completely in the right. Quite a ways from it. This whole quest was for Majin's own gain, and his followers were about to put their lives on the line for something that had no benefit towards them. They were about to kill for him. Some would likely die for him. Keramon was perfectly fine with this. A friend was a friend, and the virus digimon would do anything for his friends. Majin had asked for his help with this task. Keramon would provide it. It was as simple as that. But he would do it on his own terms. No death unless necessary. The small rookie watched as Majin took on his most powerful form before firing himself out of one of Destromon's cannons. Seemed like a pretty effective way to get where one needed to go, but the cannons began firing before Keramon could consider following suite. Instead he made his way to the outer shell of Destromon, sounding a good luck to the other Vexus members as he left, and once more looked down at the city. He began floating towards the edge as data swirled around him. Powerful, spike tipped legs emerged from the cloud of fractal code. Infermon formed from the storm of data and stood perched above the city. They were close enough that a powerful leap from the ultimate would land him just past the edge of the wall. With a grunt the viral spider launched himself from the red monster and began hurtling towards the ground. As he fell he saw the myriad of flames and explosions going off in the city. A frown creased his face and something clicked within the spider digimon. He would be different. He had to be. Fractal code began to swirl around him once more until he looked like a shooting star made out of spiraling data. "Infermon digivolve to...." "...Diaboromon!" The newly mega digimon slammed into the ground just within the walls of Luminas, kicking up a cloud of dust that obscured him from view. Several digimon had emerged from the buildings around him, disturbed by the explosions and commotion. As the dust settled, Diaboromon merely stood, half crouched, hands resting against the ground. The digimon looked at him with fear, but neither side moved an inch. This carried on for several moments before Diaboromon slowly raised his head. "Surrender and you will not be harmed."

The siege had begun. Not by the horn of battle or the cry of war, but the sound of a cannon, shaking the earth as it began its devastating assault. Buildings collapsed. A steady tide of rubble filled the streets. The citizens of Luminas scattered in terror, fleeing their crumbling homes. The sheep assembled in the village square, awaiting their saviours. This was the holy city. Surely, someone was mounting their horse and gathering an army of angels. Someone would deliver them.
But no such cavalry arrived.
Instead, a demi-god and his machine pet trudged through town. A prayer to the god of death could be heard in the distance, calling on the forces of darkness to destroy what was left.
A pair of opalescent boots clicked softly against fertile ground, signalling the arrival of another participant. Those that expected the arrival of the Holy Digimon would perhaps find themselves breathing a sigh of relief: one of his disciples was now in their midst. The glimmering armour of Iscarimon brought forth the power of light with every step. "Judgement Day" he whispered. That light had long gone. He brandished his sword arm and cast an ivory cape over his shoulder. The Rapture had arrived.
'Why have you stifled me?' came a voice, somewhere in the vestiges of his mind. 'You no longer serve any purpose. The girl will perish with you' Iscarimon responded. 'If you kill her, your power is gone. I'd kill myself long before I let you take what is ours' Zeromon snarled, appearing from the shadows. 'It was mine to begin with.'
The Traitor's eyes narrowed. His discussion had been cut short. What was this? A Digimon at his feet? Just like Zeromon, this repulsive creature clung to him for dear life. It bore into his soul with its large blue eyes, begging him for mercy. A Salamon. A lost puppy. How...pathetic. Iscarimon scooped up the tiny beast into his arms and pat its head. He continued his stroll into the city, finding himself at the centre of the now crumbling empire. Destromon loomed above him, firing listlessly at everything in sight. Azramon, his master, looked more than pleased with himself. A Diaboromon too had entered the fray, giving the citizens a promise he knew he couldn't keep.
'Surrender?'
Iscarimon was an ancient Digimon among a group of unprincipled adolescents. This wasn't evil. This wasn't real evil. It was easy to kill; a few casual steps often resulted in the death of an ant. A few steps more and the entire anthill lay beneath one's boot. Real evil wasn't about destruction, and it certainly wasn't about surrender. It wasn't about conquering or power. It was about humiliation - making those who face you make them wish they were dead. That's what Iscarimon's betrayal had done to him. It had corrupted him so deeply that he became known by a name no one dared to utter. After all, he had not only betrayed his King, but all Digimon. He would make it known that their time had come again. He stroked the shuddering dog in his arms and set it free into the ring of fire.
"Crucifixion."
A wayward cross crushed the child beneath it, leaving nothing but a partially severed head. Innocence was dead.

It's all Too real "Hmm Blitz?""Hmm?"No? Then it was his own thought then. He was hoping Blitz would be the one nervous not him... he hadn't even really noticed till now either how much their positions had changed. the former human had started out as the braver of the two, protecting his young digimon from the harm of the world, but it seemed that young digimon had grown in the past few years... then what did that say about Joey himself? Had he grown at all? The pit in his stomach grew as their forces charged up ready to release their hellfire upon the unsuspecting city. He still wasn't sure, if this was the right thing. Defeating these self righteous angels to save the life of a human girl... Don't falter now, do you want to let everyone down? That thought was definitely his own. But then there was the other issue... bio-merging, could he really do it? Should he try off the bat? What if he failed here, he'd only sort of done it once before and it was so unstable. Could he.. even try again? ”We can start with mega Joey, we don't have to push it yet we'll be fine, just stay close to me...”, the red digimon nodded reaching up tor his tamer's hand. Joey smiled ”Thanks Blitz, and it looks like we've started... you ready?”, he asked not trying to talk over the cannonfire, his words didn't need to be physically said for Blitz to hear them so why strain. Ready as ever Joey!” The digivice shown bright in the tamer's hand as Blitz rose bursting into pixels before his form began to reassemble himself larger, dark scales brandished in gold and crimson began to line the new generated framework as a beast arose from the splendor. ”OmegaDraMon!!!!”, it snarled drawing it's blade as the tamer would hop up on it's back as they readied for the advance. The battle had already begun and the destruction already resemed irreversible... Since when can you reverse that which you've wrought, ease your mind and realize there's no turning back now He thought he recognized some of the others fighting though, a knight that seemed familiar and another requesting surrender... What odd creatures... In fact the night almost seemed he belonged among the ranks of the enemy. Surrender, I wish, but I fear the angels may have too much pride. ”We're ready Majin. Lead on we'll cover you sir”, they said in unison before following him forward into battle, landing upon the pavement and crushing it on impact. They'd fend of anyone who came near. ================================== Another of the advancement forces worked down in the streets below, though, it wasn't the usual sight. A blue sphere floating though the streets, making no sound and having no features yet seemed to carry an air of confidence. It wasn't something you'd think you'd feat, that is until you saw it's capability. This digmon didn't need to move to attack as it sent of waves of compressed force, crushing walls and citizens who didn't flea his wake. A mercenary of the former human and capable fighter this small blue sphere. Ramiel; The Thunder of God.

Louis breathed in deep the smell of smoke and death. He inhaled pain and exhaled tranquil apathy, shutting himself off from the screams and desperate wails of his surroundings. Messy hair hung limply over dull green eyes, the blankness of his expression unnerving even his faithful friend.
Haze understood, though. It was he who had taught Louis to block out the stress from the battlefield, although perhaps he had taught him too well. There was barely a flicker of life in Louis's eyes, even when Majin made his over-dramatic speech. Truth be told, Haze was worried.
But he'd save that for another time. As of now, there was a war to fight. Carefully, he manifested the clouds that kept his ultimate form aloft underneath his catatonic friend and sped after the demonic Majin, alert for any signs of attack. He was here for support, and support he would be.
"Hang on, Louis. It's only just begun." He said, and much to his surprise, Louis nodded.
"We will do what is asked of us." Louis's voice was as frighteningly blank as his face, and Haze shuddered. This wasn't what he had intended when he taught Louis this skill.
"We will do what we must and we will do it with no regrets. We cannot go back. Not now, not ever." Louis's dull eyes stared dead ahead, never even blinking.
Haze hoped this wasn't a mistake.

[Argomon Ultimate] The smoke was settling along the battle lines, as the fire almost calmly raged through the Luminas city. Late as always, I guess... Argus thought to himself, the tower he was standing in rumbling precariously. Argus had managed to find a foothold within the enemy city merely a day before. While normally his coloring didn't lend itself to hiding, but the fact of the matter was that the red and gold coloring that the virus had given him had finally come in use, allowing him to blend with the holy Digimon within the city rather well. And now it seemed as though Majin had finally made his move, the smoke and general instability of his current perch indicating that Destromon was doing his work, if the cacophony of sound coming from the sky wasn't indicative enough of that. The fact of the matter was that even on the outskirts of the city, it was easier to stay hidden than he would have thought it would be. It had made him wonder if they were walking into a trap... Frowning to himself, he decided it was time to leave his post and take a bit of a walk. Leaving the tower, Argus passed through the city, looking up occasionally to see the huge ship raining fire on the city. It seemed almost a pity to decimate so much architecture, but the fact of matter was that their enemies needed to know they meant business. Sighing a little to himself, Argus took a side alley towards what he knew to be the main street of the city, ignoring a couple of cowering rookies as he went. The layout of this place is too orderly. the virus digimon thought to himself. It would be their downfall this time, this order. As he finally gained the main street, he saw his compatriots, who had apparently just dropped into what one might call a square on the street he had just approached. "Well, it looks like it's time...." he muttered to himself. "Lets see what kind of fight we've gotten ourselves into."

The word peace and tranquility was so alien and intangible in this world that it was almost imaginary. And it was clear this city was the closest thing to that imaginary word as anyone could get, the city life bustled with commerce and Digimon going about their daily lives. Viktor, unfortunately, found himself in this bleach colored city, looking for some information on his old 'friend' Fringe, the Datamon had been mining resources and spare data for weeks on end and was probably doing it unchecked, and Viktor figured it was time to...check up on him. The Russian gave a sharp sigh as he passed through block after identical block, everything in the city looked alike, and it was likely easier for someone who lived here for years, but to those brand new to the city, it would be like walking through a maze blindfolded. He cursed to himself as he turned yet another identical block, then sat down as Genesis patted him on the back;
"Come on, Pops. Do you finally admit you're lost?"
He sighed and threw his hands up; "Fine. You got me, fox. I am lost. Lead me out oh glorious pathfinder."
Genesis smirked as she leaped into the air and onto a nearby ledge, looking into the distance as she tilted her head at something rather strange. A ship in the distance, and it was closing. Genesis radioed to Viktor, who was still street level;
"I wasn't aware airships flew this close to the city."
"What? Airship? What are you talki-"
Before he could finish his sentence, a Diaboromon landed a few meters in front of him, sending him flying backwards as he rolled to his feet and placed a gloved hand on the ground to slow his speed. He glanced up, only to hear it demand a surrender. Viktor had seen this before, multiple times actually. This was a hostile take over. This one was likely on crowd control, keeping people from being heroes. Viktor had no interest in their plots, infact, he already knew who this was. He whistled and Genesis appeared behind him, clenching her fists as he stood straight up.
"You know, attacking a city is one thing. But demanding something and then lying is another. Genesis, it is time to move. You know what to do."
She nodded as she leaped into the air, her form rapidly shifting as she landed infront of Viktor with a heavy thud. She knew her form was a level below, that of a Taomon, but with her training and upgrades she knew she could take this Mega on. She was clenching a flame in her hand as she wielded the paintbrush in the other, she brought her weak foot forward, and got ready to launch off her dominate foot. But, after multiple high level Digimon started making their appearance she was having second thoughts on this. And lucky for her, so was Viktor;
"Bait and switch! Genesis give us an exit."
She nodded as she very quickly drew multiple symbols in the air with her paintbrush. The opposing Digimon would likely find it surprising that the symbols weren't aimed at the Digimon themselves, but rather pointing at their feet, ground, and neighboring buildings. She brought her palm out, then pushed it forward, sending the indirect attack at the Diaboromon and it's allies as the other's hit the last standing support structures of one of the building. The symbol struck the support pillar like a high caliber bullet, smashing it in two as the rather large building began rumbling, and the ground shook with the force of an earthquake. The symbol at the ground hit the already layer of rubble on the ground, forcing it to pillow in the air, making an effective wall of concealment as Genesis scooped up Viktor and very quickly vanished into the mass of buildings and identical blocks, reverting back to her Rookie form as the two quickly vanished from both eyesight and data tracking.
The building cracked again, tipping over as a loud creaking could be heard, and a Digimon screamed; "It's falling apart!" as he finished his sentence, the building came down with a large crash and small pops of electrical data disconnecting. The whole side of that city was covered in dust from the collapsed building, easily concealing any whom wished to escape from the battle that was no doubt going to take place. Viktor was outnumbered, outgunned, and dealing with much more powerful enemies. But there was something he had that these digimon didn't...
The element of surprise.
And a man like Viktor, he didn't have to be a powerful digimon who could throw a universe to win. He just had to outsmart them.
________________________________________________________________________________
//TEN MINUTES BEFORE FIRST LANDING//
"Our spies haven't reported back, boss. We fear that organization might give an order for a coup. Should I notify Bi-"
"Gazi, my old friend, you're like a little brother to me. Don't worry about it, I'm sure it's just a scare tactic. Go and get some rest, you've been worrying yourself sick."
The Gazimon nodded and walked to the door, stopping to say something, but figuring it was for the best as he exited the room, the other 'boss' digimon walked to a monitor and spoke; "Defenses will remain offline, just leaving the door open for you, Majin."
He quickly turned off the monitor as someone else walked in, someone with a bit more rank on his shoulder who looked rather irritated. It was his second in command;
"You traitorous son of a bitch!"
He wasted no time as pushed a panic button, and several Sealdramon burst into the room, he pointed at the traitor; "He's with Vexus! Arrest him, get security on hi-"
He was cut off by what sounded like a collapsing building, the creaking of bending metal and the sound of hundreds of thousands of pounds of rock slamming into pavement. And as he peered outside, he noticed that a building had indeed collapsed, and known Vexus digimon were in the area. He looked to the Sealdramon who nodded and took the traitor as they dispatched response forces. They weren't about to take the city without a fight. Damocles, the boss in charge of pretty much everything in the city, had to be notified right away, and he knew that the Defenders would be dispatched right behind the Security Forces. But he wondered, after reading on the little he knew on them; How many Digimon were being sent to die.
______________________________________________________________________
Within minutes of the building collapsing, several large cannons opened fire on the Airship, attempting to shoot it down before it got over the city as the digimon with Vexus on the ground were quickly met with several Sealdramon in masses. They consisted of a squad of four with an Assaultmon leading them. So five in total. The wasted no time engaging as they began shooting at the Diaboromon and close the gap to take it hand to hand, doing the same for any nearby digimon as they continued to fight for sometime. The Defenders had to be awaken, and this would take some time, the Security Force was no more than a distraction, rushing water on a jagged rock. And they all knew it...The only way to break a rock is bring a bigger one.
[[NPCing and Posting as my main in this thread. Diaboromon will be fighting Darcmon very soon, just gotta establish a fight first. The Defenders are slightly stronger than normal Megas, so a two on one fight isn't out of the question.]]

Data rained over Azramon as he withdrew his shadow tendrils. No one dared oppose him - it was a disappointment really. That is, until Viktor showed up. Somewhat oblivious to their presence near Diaboromon, the demonic Super Mega was just able to hear a sudden explosion nearby - out of so many going on around the battlefield, he was unable to distinguish it from their own. But suddenly, a building near him started falling. Intentional or not, he had no intention of allowing it to fall on top of him or his comrades. His shadows quickly bursted forwards, in the shape of numerous bladed tendrils. They sliced and diced, not completely eliminating the building but making the falling bits way smaller. Still, the dust cloud fell over them, and for a moment, they were in the dark. But just for a second he could've sworn to have seen a grown up man running around... His attention was drawn elsewhere, though, as several cannons were raised from several facilities around the city. Damned fools. Perhaps they should've planted way more explosives. --- Though, Destromon didn't intend to fly over the city. It was foolish to place yourself above an aggressive city full of digimon capable of shooting you down. He merely circled around the city, unleashing suppressive fire upon anyone daring to surface above the rooftops and then some. But his tactics needed to change now. "Should we raise the Hyper Shield?!" shouted one of the Sentrymon, watching as Destromon's front got bombarded by cannon fire. The other raised a metallic hand, "Destromon can take much more than normal cannon fire. Bring out the full weaponry. Change priorities - target offensive units first, offer suppressive fire as a secondary function. Destroy all the rooftops while you're at it." the second Sentrymon said, his voice laced with a non-existent emotion. Destromon had been using his Juggernaut Cannons so far, but now his full weaponry was revealed - a plethora of smaller stations popped up all around it's body, and several compartments opened up, revealing row upon row upon row of missiles. Destromon's monitors showed as the Mega locked on to several targets all at once, pinpointing the most dangerous of the units around the battlefield as the weaponry came to life. The Beam Gatling Stations aimed, spun, and unleashed further fire down into Luminas' defenders. The sky was suddenly obscured, as the Fallout Missiles all shot out at once, intent on eliminating these offensive forces. --- Soon enough, the dust settled. This only revealed that company had finally arrived. Azramon looked ahead - it seemed to be a small group of champion digimon. Perhaps Destromon had been too effective and eliminated most of the forces, but this was a bit ridiculous. The demon couldn't help but smirk. He stood up. *Joey, Blitz. Louis, Haze. Beverly, Ghost. Kuzu, Aegisdramon. All of you, follow me. Seems the forces here are too thin - we'll advance further into the Palace.* the demon mind-linked, walking ahead. He walked ahead, casually deflecting any incoming fire from the champions. They could never hope to defeat one such as he. He could defeat them all in one simple stroke, but he would save his energy for the bigger fish - the bigger fish over in the palace. Up on the skies, Destromon had just finished charging his main weapon. It was only a matter of time before he rained destruction upon the Palace and whoever dwelled within... Sinn, I'll pm you a list of the charries involved soon. Also, thank you.

Diaboromon tilted his face down as his compatriots carried out their acts of violence. Each unnecessary death tore at his heart, but the Mega did nothing to stop his allies. Not that he could, some of them were stronger than he was. This fact only served to strengthen his resolve to grow more powerful. He needed to be the strongest in order to carry out his mission, to fight evil. But this fight, this cause, was far too close to evil for his comfort. There was only one course of action that was clear to him at the moment.
But suddenly someone was talking to him. He swiveled his head to look at the...human? There were humans in this city? Diaboromon really needed to study up on his intel. More guilt wracked the virus type. Digimon were reborn eventually, but humans stayed dead. The human's digimon partner, a Taomon, landed in front of him, clearly ready to fight. "I don't speak for them." Diaboromon's deep voice rumbled out at the human. "You should leave. Now."
The human obeyed to an extent, bringing down a building with him as he retreated to the shadows. Diaboromon tensed up as the structure came crashing down, but he never had to move. A mass of dark tendrils ripped the building into harmless chunks. Diaboromon took a moment to marvel at the power his leader possessed. Would the viral digimon ever have strength like that? Time would tell. For now, Diaboromon had to deal with a hail of gunfire from the first armed resistance to be seen. With a snarl he raised his large hands to block the shots. These digimon were far weaker than he was, but he was not a digimon made for defense. He would not block these hits for long, nor would he have to. There would be no surrender, and he would be gunned or cut down if he ignored the Sealdramon. He had to fight. Diaboromon kicked off the ground.
He was a blur in the air, incredibly hard to track with the naked eye. He slammed against the wall of a nearby building and clung to it, facing outward. The cannon on his chest began to glow and expand slightly. He had never felt so fast or powerful before, it was exhilarating. "Web Wrecker." He snarled, firing off an orange ball of destructive energy at the Assaultmon. Take out the most powerful one first, that was the plan. He followed his own attack, diving through the air with claws held at the ready. He crossed blades briefly with a Sealdramon, but easily pushed the weaker digimon aside, attempting to cripple it with a slash in passing. Landing near the Assaultmon, Diaboromon's arms suddenly whipped forward, stretching beyond their normal length to attempt to impale the centaur-like digimon. "Cable Crusher!" he exclaimed in a demonic voice

The blue orb struck without prejudice or waver, striking down any who dared not to run with quick bursts of psychokinetic power. He was left unimpeeded for the moment, simply carrying out it's duty of destroying all it could, and if some stupid creatures got in the way it wasn't his fault if they got hurt or killed, they should run. Though in a place like this how could he blame them for not knowing what to do, they'd been living a lie of peace for so long they probably didn't even know their own attacks anymore. Fools -------------------------------------- Most of the fire seemed to be focused above at either Majin or their ship, so the duo didn't really have to dodge or deal with much. Just occasionally glitching out of the way of a blast run astray, they didn't want to waste any energy just yet. It also seemed any digimon that would impeed their path instead fled at the sight of the demon above, at least they were doing the smart thing, already Joey felt there were too many casualties. This wasn't exactly how I envisioned this.
But isn't it?
Fine how I hoped it would turn out Even if Joey was feeling a tinge of guilt already it was too late to turn back now right? they'd have to continue on and see though what they started. Or was he just lying to himself? "Yes sir!", they shouted in response to the order, following below Majin for the moment, incapable of flight at this level but pretty good at jumping, especially when aided with glitch jzin. He'd be able to defend Majin and attack from this position and help scout along the ground as well as he followed deeper into the palace. Wait... Where's Tuck?

”Should we take out that huge ship or head for the Palace?”
Drizzy had never been one to linger on residual facts such as collateral damage and bystanders. His focus was narrowed down by priority and acted with impulse and courage, not rationality and scrutiny. Truth be told, such a hotheaded creature was perfect to be not only Ryūsuke’s Digimon partner, but his best friend. They related and where he outclassed most, if not all in raw unfathomable power—even for being a smaller Dracomon—the dark-haired tamer backed the academic appeal to our dynamic duo. He would carry the burden of weeding our alternatives and deciding which route would mean more lives saved today. He didn’t have a problem holding such a mountainous weight.
“This is a front, it has to be.” While his Draconic partner’s instincts confirmed his suspicions, the overall scheme of this attack was too random. Even how the Ship encircled the grand city of light, its patterns indicated limitation and not total devastation; this meant it was either wrongfully placed or its purpose was to detour. Needless to say, its ushering meant something even more overwhelming and as the explosions continued to sound throughout Luminas, an eerie, almost unsettling air swept over the missile-engrossed fortress. The two had to make haste.
Fractual code cocooned the two as sweltering summer hues took ahold of their visages. Bright and illuminating, the partners found their surroundings spelled in flaming data that exploded out, sending a massive shockwave to their neighboring area. The last time this form of advanced evolution was used, a city was shattered. Nonetheless, since then, that former power of darkness transcended its anterior purpose and the being of total destruction became one of salvation: Samsarāmon.
The Biomerge was complete and to conceal the bulk of his power, the Dragon God Digimon enveloped its titanic power inward, yielding the fiery exterior and making his figure seem more humanoid than before. A breeze carried the creature from its former location as Godspeed moved him deeper into the city, beneath orthodox radars as the Suepr-mega made his way towards the Palace and hopefully towards the source of this calamity. The battle for Luminas would begin with his advent.

How...odd.
Despite the perhaps obvious oddity of the cloaked human and his Lopmon, Yuji did not find any obstacle as he proceeded to the location to plant the explosives. A strong part of him wished to be stopped by outside forces; it would be the best result. The gentleman would be able to say he was following the wishes of the man who saved him, but would ultimately be stopped from causing damage to the city. Already he was concerned trying to find a way to accomplish his task without causing any harm to humans or Digital Monsters.
The western area of the city housed a large number of buildings. Some appeared to be temples, others simply housing or administrative. He only needed to cause a distraction and a certain level of panic in order to aid Majin; beyond that he was committed to doing the least damage possible. To destroy a housing area would be to displace many families. Temples and administrative buildings appeared to hold functions in that they affected larger amounts of people, but not as directly as lost housing; they would be his target.
"We'll just make some fireworks. Probably did more of a number on the palace anyways." Light chipped in to his uneasily quiet partner. "I ain't sayin' I trust the guy, but maybe this'll actually be helpful. If you're gonna do it, make it there."
The Lopmon's small arm pointed up towards an arch decorating the top of a nearby office building (or it at least appeared to be similar to one). A silent nod was the response from Yuji. Proceeding to open his D-Terminal, he selected the option for "Digimental of Chivalry". A light passed from the hands of the cloaked human and surrounded the Rookie much as it had done a few days earlier in Luminas. With the rabbit replaced with Sparrowmon, the human stepped aboard and was lifted from behind the building onto the top. Given they were still relatively in the open, he needed to operate quickly; the Sparrowmon pressed himself against the roof of the building while the human moved with a brisk walk to the back of the arches. The tiny explosives given by Vexus were firmly attached and made active.
All they had to do know was find some cover, and wait.
Still Yuji held out hope that their plan would be stopped, but things moved forward according to schedule. From a safe distance on the ground, the duo witnessed the explosions across the city and the screams of confusion and fear that followed. The entire front of the building christened with arches collapsed. At this distance they could only pray no one had been hurt; they had otherwise confirmed after planting the bombs that no one was inside at the time. At least...no one they could find from a quick search of the grounds. If someone had entered the building afterwards...
"I can almost consider my debt repaid." Yuji sighed with relief. To have both his own and Light's lives saved meant they owed more than just this, but at least this task had brought them significantly closer to paying Majin back. At this point they could only hope that the plan continued as scheduled and the leader of Vexus was able to cure his sister. His other ambitions, however...admirable, but perhaps unachievable. Whether or not they would commit to Vexus for their ideals rather than as a returned favour could only be determined after this campaign.
The question now was whether the man and his Lopmon stowed away in a park of the city could avoid any more conflict. The battleship of Vexus made its appearance, and it would no doubt attract the attention of other powerful Digital Monsters.
"We don't have to stay. Just use the portal! We paid em' back already." the Lopmon insisted.
"...no, we may still be needed. We owe our lives; we cannot consider our task done."

Amusing. With every second, a new ally arrived. Omegadramon and a Digimon he didn't recognize were the first to pledge their allegiance to Azramon. Following them, a crimson Argomon made his debut. Human partners began to appear as well, causing Iscarimon a bit of confusion. This was no place for frail and entitled meatbags. Without the ability to Biomerge, Azramon was just looking at cannon fodder. Then again, Iscarimon had witnessed Diaboromon's entrance in such a matter. Maybe there was more to the demi-god than he thought. There was certainly nothing wrong about a few disposable pawns. Every king needed them.
Ah. A building.
Iscarimon parried the crumbling column with as much zeal as expected, giving him just under a moment's notice to avoid being crushed beneath it. Taomon? A single Ultimate Digimon was coming to stop them? Really? This was hardly worth his time.
Cable Crusher!
Well, there was that. Iscarimon brought his hand to his face and yawned. He didn't have to do anything. They were all doing it for him. At this point, he was wondering why Akari and Zeromon had signed up for this borefest. Striding over to his former pet, he pried the Salamon's head from its body and began to examine it. There was a small string of flesh still attached. It hadn't been a clean cut. "A shame."
Turning his attention to the sky, the dark paladin sensed that something greater was on its way. The airship was distracting, yet another power source intrigued him. He could feel the light energy radiating from it, causing him to wonder just who or what was on its way. Iscarimon was surprisingly optimistic about the new arrival. Would he get the show he was hoping for? Sticking his hand in Salamon's neck like a puppet, he caused its jaws to flap in agreement. "Fun is on the way~" he said whimsically.
'You can't be serious. You think you're better than them, don't you, you sick piece of shit?' 'This mission is a fruitless one.' 'When I get out of here, I'm going to make sure you never come back. When Akari and I-' 'Try calling her again later. She is indisposed.' Zeromon couldn't feel her presence anymore. He wasn't sure what happened. All he knew was that he had no control over his body, and his body was about to do something really horrible.
'I am an exhibitionist.' Who would he pick on next?

Azramon is walking, Meip. The Elite will move on to a separate thread, since we may start a second fight soon. The Ground Forces will stay here to combat the champion digimon. So those I mentioned to follow me should post in our next thread. The demonic Biomerge walked without a care as bullets zipped past him and his allies. Vexus was strong, they would take care of this easily. Looking over the immediate area, he could spot Fadeless, Keramon and Joey actively following him into battle. Louis and Haze were trailing behind him, although they seemed way too off. Vetina and her group were here too. Beverly followed close as well. But at least two Vexus members had yet to act. Fadeless had come out of hiding, but where were the rest of the Stealth Forces? Were they simply laying in wait for another opportune chance? Or had they succumbed to their fear? He would not take this lightly. Still, he had things to do. He pointed at the palace. "Rodgers, ignite. he relayed to his ally, noticing several... STRONG entities popping up. --- Rodgers the ChibiMachinedramon had unleashed a poisonous gas quite a while ago. The Palace was apparently the dwelling place of the Royal Knights - the Defenders of Luminas. If they had stayed inside this long, surely the poisons effects would've weakened them. But this wasn't over yet. The gas was also flammable, and the show was about to start. Upon Azramon's queue, Rodger's took out his flamethrower and spit out a veil of flames inside. The gas instantly caught into flames, unleashing a vicious internal explosion throughout the Palace. And if this wasn't enough... --- Azramon looked up at Destromon. Aerial Forces, aim the Hyper Particle Cannon at the Palace. Target any structural flaw it may have due to the explosion. Blow it away, now!--- Over them, Destromon could be seen counter-attacking the cannonry that had been revealed on Luminas with his vast array of weaponry. Energy started gathering on Destromon's front cannon, making an ominous sound as it charged up fully, jolts of energy revolving around it. Quickly, the cannon unleashed a thick, crimson beam. The sky literally split apart as the whole place turned a shade of crimson. Amongst the huge noise, a massive, Super Mega-equivalent beam of destruction pierced it's way towards the Palace. --- Where was Zero and Akari, though? He could've sworn he had sent her a message via their digivice. She was a valuable ally, he hoped she would stop by soon. He felt a spike in power nearby - and it didn't really feel like an ally. Perhaps a Knight had revealed itself finally. There was also another terrible power nearby, but he wasn't quite sure who it was. If it was closer he could potentially discern it with Shadow's Aura Sense, but at this range it was impossible. Needless to say, if these were aggros, he would do best to move to a separate area, away from the weaker Vexus members. He didn't want them to die in any friendly fire, after all. Azramon relayed a message to the following; Aegisdramon, Joey, Blitz, Beverly, Ghost, BlackKuzuhamon, Louis and Haze. Guys, let's move out. Bigger fish await us. Be prepared. And with this, Azramon proceeded further towards the Palace. *Moving to a separate thread*

For what its worth guys sorry about my absence. Coursework and Exams Suck. I'll explain myself at some point Zevran was many things, Smart, Handsome, Vain, Powerful...moderately, Quick...But for all his plus's he was still late. So very late for such an Important Date. Which theoretically should have been impossible, considering he had skulked around and planted bombs during the stealth portion of this attack. Regardless, He'd apologize for his lateness and take the resulting punishments at a later date. As he overlooked the city he saw the full force Vexus could offer and it spent a shiver rocketing down his spine.
Any thing remotely heading to the air was shot down by the devastating blasts of one of Majin's subordinates and the ground forces were engaging anything hostile. Their had been times were Zevran had doubted the likely hood of success of his Organizations primary objective. But looking upon Vexus's assault force all doubts had been swept away like debris before a hurricane, He saw Digimon of all levels fighting and battling out throughout the streets, He saw civillians fleeing from the 'evil' virus types.
He saw His Leader, Majin-sama and his elite vanguard heading towards the palace. He saw one thing that perturbed him however, among the crowd of enemies he saw an old duo he'd met twice before... Viktor and Genesis. They had aided him when they'd first met... This required more thought. If he were honest he did like the Duo, The Human understood that he had to get involved in fighting, Which was admirable; Most tamers wouldnt dare think of getting involved in a fight with digimon... They would allow their digimon to fight alone and claim victory if their digimon suceeded. But not them... Viktor had actually gotten in a fist fight with Zevran when he was still a Rookie and had worked in tandem with Genesis to beat the hell out of him.
If he didn't fight the duo...then someone else would. If that happened looking at his allies there were a lot of mega's here. Despite the duo's co-operation they wouldnt succeed against Mega's the strength gap was just too large.
The Choice was simple... Did he actively work against Majin-sama's goals... or did he do as instructed and hope for the best... Both Options were Unacceptable to the Ultimate leveled digimon. He would likely be punished anyway, He was far far too late for a simple apology to cut it... better go for broke right?
As he watched the Duo disappear through smoke and debris of a falling building he finally prepared to get involved in this fight. This Fight that his side would win or die trying...despite the casualties that his side would take. He shook those thoughts aside and Digivolved.
Aegiochusmon appeared in all it's foul Virus Type glory, The digimon Didnt hesitate to fly into the air and start bombarding what little defenders the city had with is Violent Ruin attack. Raining down hundreds of tiny laser type attacks indiscriminately from both the surrounding buildings and the apposing digimon. He had Naught to fear from his Vexus ally, or so he Assumed.
