[OOC: My plan is to have six-seven high level digimon fight the elites, start from slightly more powerful than a Super (To work teamwork and no 1v1 me bros.) to the equivalent of several (The Leader only, so there's no overpowering.) my hope is to also take down/capture at least two of the elites, situation permits. As for the ground forces they'll have one-two seriously powerful Megas as like a boss fight. Standby for fight input!]
///JUST BEFORE COUNTERATTACK
"Hey! Hey! Look at me! You have to get on the transport, get out of the city. It is too dangerous."
Genesis was leading several digimon into a 'cargo' ship to get digimon and humans out of the city. Viktor had seen a few and lead them to a safer passage, Genesis was loading Fresh and Rookies into the ship to evacuate. To her knowledge several already made it out, but now that gunship was circling, and it was gunning down anything that moved. Vexus claimed to not be evil, they claimed to stand for something, but what she was watching...The collateral damage alone was killing. Some digimon patrolled the streets, looking as if they were killing some on sight, even those who were innocent but just unable to move fast enough to get out of the way. She spoke in a way she had only heard Viktor speak, the words deafened by the distance chatter of gunfire and explosions, and if she stayed there too long, she knew it would close in on her. She snapped back into reality with a sobering scream, one of the Vexus digimon had just tossed a Commandramon in the alley, giving the passengers a full few of the carnage in the street. She nodded to the digimon flying the vehicle, who returned her nod and closed the doors. She tried to give one last reassuring smile as it cleared the roofs, she took a deep sigh of relief as it was clearing the city. And as if something from her nightmares, a missile that was deflected by one of the Security Digimon struck the back side of the aircraft, sending it spiraling into the ground. She angrily sighed and dropped off the roof, their data safely shooting into the air as she looked to Viktor, who was walking into the alley;
"Were there any humans on that?"
He was shouting over the intensifying battle that was moving closer to them. Genesis shook her head and Viktor pulled her into a hug; "You did great, but we have to leave! As powerful as you are there are digimon that are more powerful! We need to make an escape!
She gently nodded and then stood straight up, trying to find a way out as Viktor followed closely. They climbed a building, a rather large one , to find the closest way out of the city. This one had no mounted gun to speak of, at least one that weren't shooting at the gunship. So that explained why it was still standing, though Viktor wasn't certain for how much longer. As he climbed, he found a curious discovery. Some small explosive used to take out the cannons were placed on a cannon here. Likely someone found it and left, or it was a misfire, either way Viktor had small amounts of EOD under his belt, from setting up and defusing claymores and other trap explosives, and he was going to use it for exactly that. Genesis spoke as he began tinkering with it;
"Pops you're a sniper, not bomb squad. Leave it, I found out way out."
Viktor waved her off as he was working at it with a pair of pliers, in all fairness the designed was strikingly similar to that of a claymore, wire set up, fuses even packed explosives, the difference is that it was wired to go off as a satchel, rather than a trip mine. He spoke as he watched the light indicator flash, returning it back to life as he pulled the walkie talkie from his back. A simple hook to the battery and power and it lied perfectly within the bomb, all he needed to do was call that frequency and it would explode. Or at least, that was the plan.
"If this is made to destroy a digimon's heavy gun...What will it do to a digimon?"
Genesis say there with her arms crossed, tapping her paw;
"I don't know, pops we need to leave. Now. What are you going to do with that anyway?"
Viktor was too scribbling something down on a small notepad as he ripped the page out and tossed it spoke to Genesis;
"I'm going to toss this in the air, the gun ship is going to loom close, aim at the command deck and make sure my note it received."
Viktor waited a few minutes as the ship got closer and closer, until it was close enough he could jump to it. He looked to Genesis who nodded and sent the note in the air, smirking as it worked perfectly. The paper stuck to the single diamond and the diamond found it's way on the command deck, note attached. The note was simple, as all it said was:
"Now I have one of your bombs. Ha ha ha ha. -Viktor"
With that, Viktor nodded to Genesis and they moved up, what they had planed next was...a little drastic.

///NOW
"Clear the streets!"
A Sealdramon shouted as an Assaultmon launched a rocket at one of the opposing digimon, it spoke as was engaging;
"Push to the streets, their elites are moving elsewhere. Engage the threats and deal with them as needed."
"Aye, sir! All squads push to center! I say again, push to the center!"
The digimon on the other end would be flooded with gunfire, rockets, and a flurry of other attacks. Enough to push even a Super-Mega back. The were lucky one of them wasn't here, because they were wiping out squads like nothing. The technology in Lumias was unprecedented, but well hidden. Able to continually supply data to keep soldiers coming. They would still come back as fresh's but would digivolve that much faster. Technology modified from a Datamon they met. As well as some defensive measures only seen by the highest ranking members.
The Sealsdramon would engage them up close while the Commandramons and Assaultmon would keep them back at range, a tactic the worked on for what seemed like an eternity. And they had been doing this to other Vexus members around the city, the fact of the matter was without the elites, they were spread too thin, and the sheer number of the Lumias' army was enough to overwhelm them. Considering it was one of the Digital World's largest due to that technology.
As the fighting remained unbridled and scattered, they all seemed to be in sync, as each attack party did the same thing, popped smoke and then pushed.
"Make a counterattack from the smoke! Pushpushpush!"
It seemed this had no end as the fighting continued on, both humans (Or the appearance of one) and Digimon alike fled for cover as hails of gun fire filled the streets. It was clear this wasn't ending anytime soon.

Damocles was watching everything, monitoring the fighting in the city and the attacks, even he hadn't foreseen this attack, but it was nonetheless futile. They were storming his palace, an obvious gesture but a foolish one as the leader exposed himself. He waved his hand the building literally fell around him. Or so it would appear. To the attackers out side they would see what looked like a large, bright, floating egg, empowered by sources throughout the city, hidden sources only he knew of. The sphere was impenetrable, as dispersed data on the equivalent of the molecular level, so attacking him directly, even together would only waste energy. Perhaps even make the sphere stronger and empower those sleeping inside. As the building came down, it didn't. It simply floated there, with beams of light that shot from the ground that was hundreds of feet below. Those beams shot into the underground where they lead to the powersource. Finding them would be a challenge all their own as under the city lie a vast under city that lie rotting under its new shiny shell. The sphere spoke as it hovered near them, beams of light following;
"Surrender. You are hopelessly outnumbered and out leveled. If you give in, we will only strip your powers, you will not be arrested, you will not be harmed."
His voice was soothing, calm and most of all sincere. He wanted no more bloodshed than they did, but he was willing to pay any price to protect his city, and he had no sympathy for those who so haphazardly attacked it. He wasn't mocking them, wasn't insulting, simply wanted to end the bloodshed;
"Please, I beg you. Stop this. Give in and we can settle this peacefully. Just please, I don't want you to harm anyone else. So much bloodshed, so many dead. If you promise to lay down your arms and accept my laws, I promise to not take your powers. Take your time to consider, I must mourn for my people."
He could feel their energy, they were no more powerful than the weakest member of his Defenders, and if he wanted to, he could likely kill all of them, or at very least most of them. And once empowered, there wasn't even a sliver of a doubt. He would hover the sphere around, watching the small flashes of gunfights breaking out below him, feeling more and more guilt with each passing soul. This needed to end soon.
-Elites continued next thread-
[OOC: Okay so this will be like a classic last boss battle, you gotta go find dem gyms and break them, each one houses a defender. I highly recommend branching off in twos for a fair fight (Should be enough for groups of two to break the crystals.) however, Damocles (Nice huh?) will become more empowered as his Defenders die. The only way to keep him dampened is for Vexus to hop in those crystals and trap themselves until he is defeated, otherwise he'll be a tough fight. This is so it'll make a good one on one with leader vs leader. But! It's not over for the Vexus in the crystals! They have to fight off Damocles' influence mentally! (mind battles!) Which is fairly strong! Good luck and have fun!
Fun fact: Damocles is a Patamon right now to save energy. But uses a voice enhancer to make him sound like his final form.
