There was an odd tension in the air with the recent outburst from Calumon, though it seemed everyone was finally listening to reason. With Tawna degenerating, the only Digimon who seemed unable to drop their form was the Raguelmon... partially since they didn't know.
The angel flinched to find that second Meicoomon trying to comfort them... Perhaps an odd sight to see the tiny feline trying to hug the much larger feline's leg, but it was enough to cause their tense expression to relax slightly. Mikemon briefly explained the reasoning for the name, offering words of encouragement despite the tenseness that was in the air previously.
She wasn't sure if it was really the case, but everyone here genuinely seemed to believe she was the real deal... that she was Haru. She... she had their memories, and much of their feelings, but existentially she was still confused. The Mega clutched a spot by their chest that seemed to sting with a phantom pain, they gazing down at the assortment of smaller Digimon. "I just want to know the truth... about what I am. I don't want to pretend being someone I might not even be for you guys. Its... Its just not fair to you." they sadly mused, Haru beginning to sit down... an attempt to make herself be more eyelevel. "... I'm sorry if I scared you guys. I-I wasn't thinking straight... I-I just felt like I needed to get away."
Tawna seemed to for a moment stutter, finding difficulty in being able to talk to this creature. She had felt that she had lost everything weeks ago... She didn't want to lose this bond again. "I cared for your egg for easily two weeks, one of those weeks with doc. I did so because I was in the belief that deep down, my best friend was in there..." they softly spoke, tears welling up in their eyes as they struggled to keep their emotions in check. "I... I didn't ask for this. Haru or not, I feel like I failed you by letting Haru die in the first place. I don't know if you would have wanted to have been born this way, but I felt like I couldn't live without you. I... I just want to say I'm sorry." they spoke with a heartbreaking sincerity, the Meicoomon breaking down into tears...
The Raguelmon gently raised a finger and offered it to the crying cat... Their blue eyes calmed and caring. "... Please Tawna, don't cry. Don't cry for me." Haru whispered... Tawna sniffling as she tensed up, her tears stopping. She glanced down to the new Meicoomon, offering a finger for a handshake (primarily since her actual hand was far too large). "... I don't think we have met. I... I am Haru Toriya. Are you a friend of Titania or Mikemon's?"
Soon enough, she turned her head back to Mikemon, Titania and Calumon... taking a deep breath. She... She actually was going to need a complete explanation at this point... "... I won't run now, but... I think we need to go over this from the beginning. What all happened?"

Call her a pessimist but Mae was not expecting that to have worked in the slightest. It seemed to. Though, everyone was calmer now thanks to Calumon. Haru was indeed Holly and Holly was also Haru. Huh. Titania simply shook her head. "It's fine. I can...at least explain the circumstances...Or try to. To the best of my ability...."
It was going to be pretty difficult. Wounds that had barely been stitched up reopening and all of that. Mae meanwhile kept a hold of Haru's finger. She recognized the name Toriya. "...Both. I just met Mister Mikemon, though. And I've...met Titania and your sister before. They stopped a town from tearing themselves apart once...Um. I'm Mae. I just live here now."
Titania then took a deep breath. "...So...How much do you remember of the desert? Because...You and Naoko had responded to an SOS signal in there, and found a portal leading into a forest. A forest containing a Meicoomon that Tawna and others had fought before entitled the Hunter. A real bitch, by the way. Thinks lasers are her thing." She scoffed. "...To make this short. She got a hold of you and Naoko. We got the latter free. You...Well...Um. You were...slain. And everything just...got worse from there. I genuinely can't remember the rest clearly. Naoko's emotions ended up causing me to dark digivolve and...It felt like a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from..."
That was a cue that Titania's done with handling storytime, considering the Tinkermon had attained a thousand yard stare, coupled with looking on the brink of tears. Perhaps it was Mikemon's turn to speak.

Honestly, everyone here was to blame - perhaps Tawna and Mikemon, more than most. With tensions and frustration running high, it was no surprise that the Raguelmon before them was trying to get away, after all. Thankfully, the feeling in the room started to calm down - Haru more calm and apologetic, and Tawna even breaking down into tears.
They had to face the facts: this was both Haru and not Haru, a life that had been created out of sheer desperation and grief. Tawna couldn't even bring herself to call the Raguelmon 'Haru', though the mega herself eventually warmed up to the name. Even the Calumon started to calm down, simply listening as the group moved to talk, Titania describing a grim picture of what had just happened.
With a sigh, Mikemon moved to add his piece: "I wasn't there at the incident itself - I only helped Dr. Cross deal with the aftermath. Though you weren't simply slain - if that were the case, you wouldn't be standing as you were now. By Cassandra's explanation in examining Hunter's data, you were, well... eaten. Loaded." Both grim terms, to be sure: "Hunter had been, before, working with that desert group, but Hunter's actions went beyond what they would allow. Thus, the violent Digimon was slain, and using her data as a base... well."
He sighed: "She made your egg."

Mae. That was... a really freakin' cute name. She could kinda tell this Meicoomon was very different from Tawna or even the one from a while ago... but that was not a bad thing. Even though her current state was not exactly good at putting up happy faces, Haru's eyes were gentle as they gazed at Mae. "Thats Naoko. She hates conflict... She is a good person." the Raguelmon sadly mused, they realizing quickly as Titania began to fill in the details about what happened... before breaking down partway.
She couldn't blame them for breaking down... It was maybe a blessing she didn't remember everything, because it sounded like everything went to hell when she was killed... Loaded the doc corrected. Even the Mega felt a shiver down her spine just thinking about that...What could drive a Digimon to do such a horrid thing? Not just loading an innocent person, but a human.
It reminded her of Arkadimon... A Digimon so vile that even she shared not much remorse for after the shock of the incident.
Everything started to make sense though... She did not expect to hear about Cassandra again, but more importantly that she owed her life to them now. It... was an odd feeling. A dreadful one in a way, knowing that Cassandra had to even work on such an operation in the first place, and that her sister and Titania had been driven to despair. She shuddered to even imagine what Tawna went through as well... but she had to stay calm. "... Oh god. Thats... this is all awful." she muttered in disbelief, unable to cope with all these horrible feelings.
She felt dirty... Unclean. It was not a good feeling knowing her death caused so much anguish and the death of another, even if said individual was her killer. It just... didn't sit right with her. "... I don't know what to think. How did Cassandra do it? Humans shouldn't be able to reincarnate."
Tawna managed to gather the strength to speak up, knowing that right now Haru NEEDED her... Just as much as she needed Haru. "No, but Digimon can. I think Mikemon could explain it better, but loading data essentially is a process that converts raw data from other sources into more of a Digimon's own data. If we load Digimon, we gain a portion of their power and potentially abilities, memories or even personality..." they spoke... Mikemon and potentially Mae probably both knowing quite well what that feeling is like. "I think the best way to explain it is that your human data is unsalvageable on its own... It had to be converted into the same type as a Digimon's, which would let you be able to be reborn... and rather than just let the Digital World recycle said data, Dr. Cross did it manually and put you in the drivers seat."
Haru closed her eyes, letting out a pained grumble. So this body... It WAS hers, but also not hers. "Th-Then... Is the Hunter inside me somewhere?"
Tawna shook her head... There was no way to tell, and that scared her.

"...I know she is. If she weren't, I don't think she'd have helped me back then." Mae nodded. She also continued to hug Haru's hand.
Thank -god- Dr. Mikemon was able to fill in blanks where he could. Titania wouldn't have been able to get through the story without that. Phew. "Talk about a poor choice of employee, in all honesty....Also kind of...not sure what I should call that. A miracle. Mad science. A little bit of both. I don't know. I guess I just have to be thankful that...Naoko's not down a sister anymore...That might cheer her up."
Mae spoke up as the explanation of loading went on. "That's...yeah. Converting their data into your own and assimilating it. That's basically how it is, from experience..." This...led to Titania raising an eyebrow. "...I didn't take you to be one for loading people." The fairy spoke. "In my defense...they attacked first. The best way to ensure the people that don't like you don't hurt you anymore is to make sure they don't come back."
That final bit from Haru, though. That...actually didn't cross the fae's mind. "...I don't know. But...thank you for giving me that thought, now I'm actually scared." Titania stated. Flatly.

"... Honestly, I know a little more about restructuring Digimon cores than I should. That Cassandra was able to pull it off is nothing more than a miracle - a very concerning miracle."
Dr. Mikemon gave a tired sigh, shaking his head at the entire thought. Tawna, of course, explained the process of loading data quite accurately - and he could offer more on that front as well. "Another risk that comes across with loading data is the potential 'loss of self' when you are eventually reincarnated to the Village of Beginnings. With a myriad of personalities floating within the core, one that's particularly potent may spring up to the front. You might come back as their species - or, they could end up being the one at the helm. Perhaps Cassandra simply used that aspect... and..."
That last question. That last terrifying question.
"... Yes." After a few moments of thought, the doctor answered. "Just as you were in her data, that Meicoomon must still exist - though to what degree is impossible to say at the moment."
The room hung silent for a moment.
"... Haru. Honestly, this is a terrifying, terrible thing to have had happen... and no, we can't say who you are, in confidence." The doctor's words were said in a flat, matter-of-fact tone. "But 'Haru' was so important to Tawna, so important to us, that we made this choice - without concern to your feelings, without heed to the potential consequence. This isn't the life you had, and it will undoubtedly be much, much harder for you in the next few months."
Another pause.
"Its selfish to ask, but... we need you. Even if you aren't the same Haru, just, well... give us a chance, alright?"

Tawna was unsure if she could call this a miracle... It was unnatural. They played god back there, in a manner unnatural for even the Digital World... and they did so without knowing if Haru even would have wanted it. Mae's comment about loading data was like a prick in the back for Tawna, as she knew far too well what that feeling was like. "I know that feeling. I am not proud of it, and many Digimon consider it taboo... but loading Digimon isn't inherently evil. It is however something evil Digimon do, and on anyone they can get away with... Trust your judgement." the emerald-eyed Meicoomon solemnly spoke to the younger Meicoomon before shutting her eyes.
This was mad science that brought this creature to life. It was a gamble that it would even work, and only now did Tawna recognize how selfish she was in allowing this to happen. All she knew was from Haru and her own suffering... and she didn't want to be left alone again. "... I don't want to beg for you to stay...If you want to leave or hate us, I... I will accept that." the orange cat spoke the Mega... trying her best to keep calm.
She was anything but.
The Raguelmon remained deathly silent at all the opinions and explanations thrown around with an eerie calm as they sat... yet their eyes held no anger nor hate. She took a deep breath, clearing her thoughts... before speaking. "... Okay." Haru spoke, through that gruff voice this form had there be a reflection of the soul inside this monster. "I don't know if I could ever be 100% Haru... Because maybe I'm really not, but I know that deep down I feel her emotions for you all. She considers everyone of you a dear friend... and I think even Mae here would be someone she would have wanted to meet." they slowly spoke before revealing a toothy maw... curved into a grin. "It couldn't hurt to try? So lets stop being sad now!"

"...Then I will. At least the loaded won't...hurt anyone else anymore." Mae murmured, quietly. It was mainly to herself but the keen eared could definitely pick it up. That meant all of the cats, mind. Titania found herself taking a seat, briefly, staring at the ground before she looked up at Raguelm--...Haru.
That was Haru. Definitely. "Of course it wouldn't. Any percent Haru is a good amount of Haru to be, truth be told. I don't think any of us would object to you trying. And though I might still be sad...Such will pass. Uh...I dunno about Naoko, though...Maybe we should focus on getting you used to this life before anything else. Think that'd work?" The fae spoke.
Well...would it?

Once they talked it over, well, it was simple:
This Raguelmon might have not been Haru - but they still wanted her to stay. Between Tawna, Titania, Mikemon, and 'Haru', the four could at least agree on that fact - and as Haru gave a smile, Mikemon returned his own. Well, a smile, and a slight, nervous chuckle in the presence of the Raguelmon.
Try as she might, Haru was still a bit terrifying. "Titania's got it right, though... well, let's try this for starters." He gave a nod towards Haru:
"Stand up straight, take a deep breath, hold it in - and imagine just a tight 'ball' or 'gate' at the center of your back." He would give a nod, provided Haru followed the steps: "Then just imagine that gate slowly opening... and take a slow, long breath outward. Just let all of that energy slip out."
If it worked, Haru would soon find herself wrapped in golden light - slipping down several forms. If not, well, breathing exercise!

Tawna closed her eyes, finding it difficult to completely quell her emotions. It was just... a lot to take in, but seeing that familiar gleam in the Raguelmon's eye brought comfort to her soul... any doubt in her heart being qualmed finally. "... We'll make this work. I promise." the Meicoomon softly murmurred, fighting back water in her eye.
The lone Mega level let out a soft giggle, seemingly more comfortable with both her current identity and the people around her. She wanted to be able to comfort Naoko, but she had a lot of problems on her own that she really did need to figure out first. "Err... Yeah. This is gonna... be a little tough to adjust to I think." the Mega level quietly mused, her attention drawn to the doctor... Oh! Was he explaining how to degenerate? That was... actually really important, primarily since she had not exactly figured out that process yet.
Haru stood up, clearing their thoughts as they inhaled and exhaled... The process was actually surprisingly simple, she naturally flowing out of the form as she shrunk massively... back down to the petite gray-furred Salamon from before. As she gazed back to everyone, she gave a meek smile. "... Well... I guess what do we do now from here? Like... I don't even know what to do or say. How am I gonna tell the other club members this? A-And my family?" Haru mused, trying to imagine just how all of this would go. Naoko she couldn't hide this from, but her parents had to stay clueless about all of this... It was just easier that way. "Actually hell, how long have I been out anyway? I'm gonna have to come up with an excuse to my manager..."

"Simple dedigivolution exercises. Good place to start..." Titania murmured, quietly. There were a lot of consolations at hand. Haru wasn't running away. Things were relatively calm, she wasn't a Raguelmon anymore and... "...Wow, that's a big elephant in the room. Uh...Carlos opened a tamernet thread wherein I'm pretty sure I read Naoko having an anxiety attack or something over the internet. So, there's...suspicion abound but you should be good. Speaking of, you should reach out to Naoko yourself when you think you're ready. Uh...I don't...know how long you've been out, either way."
Mae remained startlingly silent for a few moments. "...Tell him you got a really bad case of accidents? That usually helps in stories I've read. Ummm...I dunno." The Meicoomon shrugged before she gave the pupper a pat on the head.

Ah, there it was.
As calm as Haru was, it was very much a relief that the Raguelmon was able to revert to her rookie state. The former tamer would likely find out, in the coming weeks, that each of her forms had their own personalities and quirks - and, perhaps the Raguelmon was much easier to push to anger than the Salamon in front of them. Mikemon gave a nod, resting his hands on his knees as he crouched down.
"The Club will understand, I'm sure of it. As for your family... well, that would be tricky. You do live on your own, though: we can get a holosuit and delay that until you're able to come forth on your own terms. And... your manager?"
Right, her job! The cat gave a blink: "One week as an egg, another week as a baby Digimon... so you've been out 48 hours in human-world time. I think that means you've missed... one shift?"
Was it two? Mikemon wasn't sure. "... We'll figure out something..."
