The Infinity Coliseum. Colin James, a black haired, red-eyed American-born 15 year old boy remembered this place well. In his first day to the digital world, he had been led here by an experienced Japanese tamer by the name of Ryouta, where he and his Dracomon partner Ryu trained his then in-training partners Luke the Wanyamon and Bellamy the Yaamon until they evolved into their rookie forms.
Yes, it had been a wonderful day for all of them. For Colin in that he realized the potential of his partners, and for Luke and Bellamy in which they obtained limbs. Now the brothers were an Elecmon and Impmon, both heavily distinguished with features from the other - Luke having a more slender body with purple fur on his back, and Bellamy having fur all over, with white on his belly.
A lot had happened since then, the three of them realized as they walked around the coliseum. They had been on much adventures and grown quite a lot. Yet... it was always nice to return to one's roots.
Furthermore, there was another one present with them. A green-eyed Gazimon was hanging out with them, this none other than Bellamy's daughter Gaz. Things were tough for their family, since Bellamy's fiance Coronamon was currently immobile and trapped in the dark area. But, they had no choice but to cope how they could, and wait for the time where they could be together again.
Being here was difficult too, since the digimon that had trained them to Rookie, Ryu, he was now dead. They sighed as they remembered that day, the Dracomon helping them out. Yes, he could be a harsh teacher, but, he had done them good, and it hurt that he wasn't a part of their lives anymore.
"Ugh, you know, this kinda blows" Gaz remarked all of a sudden. "This is meant to be a legendary training ground and all we've done since we've come here is mope around. Like, c'mon, isn't there more to this place than that?" she asked.
Supposing she had a point, Colin stood up. "Okay, well, this is a place for training, so, why don't we do that?" he suggested. With there being no objections, Colin led the three digimon down the steps to the coliseum main area. He thought about evolving them to practice their techniques. But... he felt that someone else was here too. Curiously, he looked around, wondering who could be here.

WHO'S THE BOSS?
I AM.
( tag: none ) "Ugh, isn't there ANYONE here this time of day...."
For as long as he stayed in Terminus, Boss never had much of a chance to check out the Infinity Coliseum. Home to many tournaments and other events in the digital metropolis, the coliseum was also open for sparring at any given time should there be anyone around to offer up. Sadly, Boss wasn’t so lucky to have folks willing. He could never ask Sid because he would rather jam than take him seriously in a fight, the only other two willing weren’t even in the same quadrant as him, and most folks never bothered coming around here. Whenever he had to clean up around the Inn with some good ol vigilante work, the small fries weren’t worth the time either.
Which left him a very irritable dragon most of the time and hankering to let some steam off. Punching a rock or practicing his fighting routine wouldn’t do it. He needed someone live and willing, and ready to fight til he couldn’t no more. He hadn’t had this feeling in a long while. The last time he was so antsy to scrap was in his younger years after Master had passed to save him and he fought day and night to vent his frustration and his weakness. Now, it was more of letting loose. The business life was stuffy and he quite frankly hated having to play nice when he wanted to beat their heads in till they got the point. But he couldn’t do that, or it’d leave a mark on him economically and reputation wise.
And so he started visiting the Coliseum every so often until he found someone here. And today was that day. Boss had been wandering around during his break until he arrived at the main area. And someone else was here for once. A human and two other Digimon. A grin graced the Ryudamon’s face as he leapt down the steps until he arrived near them, arms crossed.
“Huh, for once there’s someone here. Hopefully you’re here for practice and you’re not just lost.” The samurai dragon said, glancing at the black-haired boy and his…two partners, apparently. They all smelled like each other, so it was a pretty good bet.

Colin and his partners were surprised to see that the other entity in question that was present was a single Ryudamon. Colin was immediately curious, he had never seen a Ryudamon before. Bellamy meanwhile gave a grin at what he had heard.
"Yep, we're here to train" he said. "And I take it you are too? Well, this is an interesting situation ain't it?"
"Bells, be nice" Luke told his brother, wanting to tone it down a few notches. The Elecmon stepped forward, giving a small bow to be polite. "Hi there, Ryudamon. I'm Luke, this is my brother Bellamy, and my partner Colin. Nice to meet you".
"Aw, nuts, there's no popcorn around here!" Gaz complained from up in the audience stands in the Coliseum.
"And... that's my niece Gaz" Luke explained. "So, ah, I take it from your questions that you'd like to have a sparring match, is that right?"
Colin was instantly curious about this. This Ryudamon hadn't acted aggressively at them yet, so he hoped that this could be something of an amicable exchange. It had been a while since Luke and Bellamy had fought in earnest - the last time they had done so was against a Control Spire in the Jungle to the South.
And after all, considering the setting, it'd be a perfect place to set up a match. While ordinarily Colin didn't embrace conflict, he knew he had to keep his partners' battle instincts sharp if they were going to continue to be effective fighters in the digital world, so, he rather hoped that this Ryudamon would respond in the positive in the offer of a spar.

WHO'S THE BOSS?
I AM. ( tag: none ) Boss grinned widely. Finally, he’d be able to scratch that itch of his. The two Digimon -three, rather- were scattered about, one of them at the stands and the other two next to the human. They elaborated that they were here to train and replied to his desire to spar. If Boss had knuckles in this form of his, he would have been cracking them in excitement. He seemed entirely giddy from the prospect that he nodded and stretched his limbs. “You bet your scrawny ass I do. Being in stuffy meetings and stuff has me up the wall and I need some ventin’” Boss grumbled, walking past the three of them onto the floor of the coliseum itself, prompting them to follow suit.
Once they would arrive at the bottom, Boss continued walking until he was a suitable distance away from them. “I’m perfectly okay with two on one, if you’re so inclined to try. I aint lived this long for no reason.” He announced. Once that was done, Boss took a deep breath and closed his eyes, simply letting his strength flow like water unhindered by a dam. His body glowed with an orange light enough to force anyone to close their eyes for a small moment as he evolved.
To complete the Perfect level look, he had a pair of dark blue pants and large, heavy orange sandals around his clawed feet and a sash going around both of his shoulders and tied around his back. Boss punched the palm of his other hand, a wide grin on his face as the overly burly dragon-man flicked his mane of yellow-white hair, then crossed his arms. What took the Ryudamon’s place was a large, bulky humanoid dragon. Clad in orange, yellow and dark blue scales, this brutish looking dragon sported massive scales on his arms that mimicked gauntlets, white bandages wrapped around the forarm, the tassels flowing in the wind. He sported what looked like an unbuttoned jacket revealing a bit of burly chest with a v-collar. He wore a small bancho’s cap amidst his brutish looking face, piercing green eyes staring at the two Digimon. “Come on now, I aint getting any younger!”

Bellamy raised an eyebrow at the competitive talk, but grinned in response. "Scrawny ass, eh? Let's see who can land a footprint on whose first then!"
Luke by now had given up on keeping his brother polite. "Well, alright, if we're gonna fight, let's keep this fair okay?"
The two digimon and Colin made their way down the stairs into the coliseum floor. Colin held back while Luke and Bellamy took positions opposite Boss, the two of them assuming battle positions.
"So, what level we doin' this at?" Bellamy asked. Then he and Luke watched with amazement as Boss focused inward and transformed. There was no mistaking that power - that was Ultimate.
"Perfect level, eh?" Colin asked, then drew the blue card from his pocket. "Alright then, you're on!" he drew the card through his purple and red D-Arc. "Digimodify! Twin Matrix Evolution Activate!"
At one, Luke and Bellamy burst with light, the twins transforming as they evolved. Bellamy became less bestial, more human-like. He wore a sinister looking pinstripe suit, complete with a long coat. In his hands he held a tommy gun, and on his head, covering straw-like blonde hair, was a dapper mobster hat. His skin was grey-white, and he wore a toothy grin. In fact the only things he retained from his rookie form were his green eyes and red scarf.
"Impmon Warp-Digivolve to... Astamon!"
Luke meanwhile transformed into a tall rabbit warrior. His muscles increased in bulk, and advanced, futuristic blue armor formed on his chest, lower legs and forearms. A helmet covered his head, with holes for his ears, eyes, nose and mouth. Retaining the normal red and white fur he had in his earlier form, a belt formed around his bare waist, holstering twin blaster weapons, which he drew and held in his paws. His main feature was an electric wheel on his back, covered in copper coils.
"Elecmon Warp-Digivolve to... Dynammon!"
Colin stood back a bit when it was over. He knew Perfect level combat could be very messy, and he didn't want to get caught in the crossfire.
"Yeah! Go dad!" Gaz cheered from the stands, eager to see how this would unfold.
"Alrighty then, if you insist!" Bellamy answered, raising his tommy gun. "Hellfire!" and fired a burst of dark energy bullets in Boss's direction.
Luke then aimed his blasters and pulled the triggers. "Thundercast!" there was a moment where they charged, before both of them fired immense electrical beams of energy at their opponent.
Colin had forgotten just how loud those attacks were. He hoped this was a wise opening gambit - start off with long range techniques. At least that was what he had learned was a good method of starting things off.
Combat Log:
Bellamy evolves to Astamon. Luke evolves to Dynammon.
Luke uses Thundercast.
Thundercast - Luke fires his uncharged twin blasters at the opponent, casting beams of charged plasma at them. He can aim for one target fully with both shots, or aim for two different targets at half power.
Bellamy uses Hellfire.
Hellfire - Bellamy raises his Oro Salmon gun and fires a stream of bullets at them.

WHO'S THE BOSS?
I AM.
( tag: none ) The Tekkenryumon bashed his fists together, watching the two Digimon evolve right after him. The human seemed spunky, but at least figured he was smart that once they started to get the festivities going, he’d run out from the crossfire. That meant he didn’t need to hold back in fear of his opponents getting distracted. A one one -or in this case, two on one- brawl needed the upmost focus, even if it was just sparring. Spare no level of underestimation. Just because they had a human didn’t mean they were any bit of weak unless they barely ever fought. The Astamon and the other Digimon which simply looked more like a giant, robotic Elecmon gave a cheer towards the stands, which prompted Boss to tense his feet.
“Oh, we’re playing this game, eh? Easy stuff.” Boss remarked. There was no start indication for him other than the Astamon raising his gun at him. Now! Boss took to a running start. The large dragon man was much faster than he looked, but he couldn’t get to the other side fast enough before they started firing. However, all he needed was to close the space he made. Long range moves were always a hassle, but Boss always knew how to handle that. By the time he’d made it mid-range, the two of them had started firing bullets and lasers right at him. To the naked eye, it looked as if Boss was just going to run straight through. Sadly, his large form was fast, but not small enough for such a feat. So, he did the next best thing. In the time that it took him to run, one of his clogs had begun to glow. On the last few steps where he’d be forced to dodge, he took a large step down, the clog forcing the ground to shatter and crack underneath him. The ground shook for a few seconds before a large stalagmite erupted from the ground between them. Boss spared no moment to keep on running up towards it. The structure wouldn’t last long against two moves, but it was more to keep em distracted.
As expected, the stalagmite couldn’t handle the onslaught of two attacks and began to break and crumble down, dust and debris falling. Boss kept his running speed until he simply jumped off the rock and heading towards the Astamon first. Guns were much easier to aim and fire than giant mounted lasers. He’d have to be careful, but taking him down first was the first goal. With his running speed combined with his sheer bulk, Boss’s impending flying kick, clog and all was bound to hurt like hell if it connected with him. Whether or not it did, he had to prep for another shoot out and play a game of friendly fire.
----------------
Boss used Dragon Splitter to intercept and careened off the resounding spike to cover the rest of the distance for a brawl.

Bellamy was prepared for this when Boss began to run at him. He knew at once that that digimon seemed to be geared toward melee combat. So, Bellamy unfurled his devilish wings and began to beat them as he continued to fire his gun, but of course, with him constantly moving, his accuracy decreased as he increased in altitude.
However, the complicating factor of that was the huge stalagmite that Boss conjured between them on the way. Neither Luke or Bellamy knew exactly how to respond to it at first, but, soon realized that their opponent had used it to block their immediate incoming attacks. Huh, that was pretty clever.
So much so that Bellamy failed to increase his height high enough to fully dodge Boss's attack. The Astamon gave a gasp of pain as Boss struck him, but not critically. The Astamon dove from the sky, but quickly re-ascended a decent distance away, giving a grin as he raised his hand, clicked it, and sent a rush of black fire at him.
Luke, meanwhile, was affected in a different way. With Bellamy struck by an attack, the Dynammon's right eye glowed. With that, he clicked his double blasters together, aimed them, then fired a stream of blue lightning directly at Boss, the energy stream like a long distance arc welder. And furthermore, it would strike with a stronger strength than an ordinary twin-strength attack.
Bellamy gets struck by Boss.
Bellamy flies away from the point of contact and counter-attacks with Darklight.
Darklight - Bellamy clicks the fingers of his right hand and conjures a powerful blast of dark flames in a matching style of his Semper Fire attack as a Rookie level. A Dark elemental attack. Bellamy has the ability to control the flames that he conjures, allowing them to track a target and fly around corners for at least 30 meters. [Cooldown: 1 post]
With Bellamy struck, Luke's passive ability activates.
Combat Passive Ability: Fraternal Bond - If Bellamy is damaged this turn, the power of Luke's attacks increase by 30% for one turn.
Luke attacks Boss with Gluon Gun.
Gluon Gun - Luke combines his blasters together and fires them when uncharged. Creates a long-range rapid-fire arc-welding effect that delivers burns to his target (Has utility outside of battle for cutting through metal).

WHO'S THE BOSS?
I AM.
( tag: none ) There we go, right up and center. Boss’s kick landed square on the astamon as he tried to ascend to avoid him, but sent him spiraling downwards until he adjusted himself. The Tekkenryumon on the other hand was forced to land on the rubble of the stalagmite that he’d made to jump high enough in the first place. However, he had multiple things to worry about. The other Digimon still could shoot at him, and he hadn’t knocked the demon gunman for a loop hard enough to focus on the other guy, so he had to keep thinking on his feet to deal with the barrage of long-range moves. He missed the feeling of his brain racking for plans and finding the best way to bash someone’s face in.
Before he had time to move, he heard a loud click. Glancing behind him, he noticed the large, Elecmon designed Digimon focus his blasters down on him. Boss grinned, perfect. It was going to hurt a bit, but since he had no time to dodge. Why not try and deal with both at the same time. Boss took a defensive stance, grinding his clogs down to the ground. He hadn’t done this in a while, so it was a good of a time as any to remember how it went. He took a defensive stance, letting the flurry of lasers descend upon him alongside with the torrent of black flames. To anyone watching, it simply seemed like the large dragon was all talk and no bite. However, before contact, one would see a small orange glow around Boss’ burly frame as both attacks made their mark. This one always stung a bit to do, but the dragon hadn’t felt a good strong attack in a while. If anything, it served as a painful wake up to him.
“Ahh, that’s the feeling! I’ve missed this for a while!” the dragon roared, slowly absorbing both attacks and prepping for his counterattack. That gunman was still going to be a hassle but from most of the bite of the attack coming from his friend, he re-assessed his game plan. Down he was going first. He just needed to bide his time for a few seconds more.
------------- -[DRAGON AND STRONG] Like UNYIELDING DRAGON, Boss takes a defensive stance to take the brunt of an enemy move. The difference is that upon the last moment, Boss begins to absorb the energy from the attack as a way of healing minor wounds and dodge out of the way in what is only known as a blur of his form. Takes one post to charge and cannot be used for two posts afterwards.

"Huh? What's he doing?!" Bellamy exclaimed as Boss didn't seem to make any effort to dodge the attacks that he and Luke were firing at him. He seemed instead to be glowing with orange energy. Just... what was this?! "Luke?!"
"Hold back a bit, Bells!" Luke advised. Bellamy did so, retreating somewhat in midair, but still, he had to get ready. He lowered the brim of his hat for a moment, a dark grey aura glowing from him. From the shadow of his hat, one could see his eyes flash and his teeth bare a grin. Whatever he was doing, it would be evident soon.
Luke meanwhile 'clicked' his blasters apart so he held one in each paw again. He realized he hadn't moved so far in the battle, so, he'd need to change that probably. A stationary target was easy to hit, but a moving one, well, he'd had to move right? Generally if a digimon just stood there and took it, they'd make something happen soon after, right?
Luke then began to dash around the coliseum so that he'd be harder to aim at, then with a cry of "Thundercast!"Luke fired the left, then right blasters at Boss, wondering what this would do.
Luke uses Thundercast.
Thundercast - Luke fires his uncharged twin blasters at the opponent, casting beams of charged plasma at them. He can aim for one target fully with both shots, or aim for two different targets at half power.
Bellamy uses Emanating Darkness.
Emanating Darkness - Bellamy takes a turn to charge his power. In his next turn, if he chooses to do so, his Hellfire, Darklight and Savage Nightmare attacks deal double damage. If he does not use any of those attacks, this effect is nullified. [Cooldown: 2 posts].
Darklight Cooldown: 1/1 posts.

WHO'S THE BOSS?
I AM. ( tag: none ) Boss was very much used to pain, but he knew that pain was something he had to always deal with, especially with his fighting style. Some would call it reckless, but it fit him perfectly. To deal good damage, he had to take some hits square in the face. Hellfire nor plasma was going to stop him, and as his body began to glow more and more, something in the dead center where the attack hit had changed. To the two Digimon that had let out an onslaught of attacks, Boss would still be standing right there in his defensive stance, taking the hits like no tomorrow. However, once the second set of attacks would hit their mark, they would simply disappear through what they thought was the Tekkenryumon standing right there.
In the time that it probably took them to realize what was going on, Boss had covered the distance between where he was originally and the plasma firing Digimon who’d started moving around to keep him on his toes. The Astamon would have been harder to hit and make his attack a bit more obvious, but to someone on the ground, he could simply make a wide arc of movement at high speed while the after image served its job as a distraction to close the gap and catch up. Boss would appear near Luke, the large metallic creature quickly having to decide to deal with a barrage of fists square aimed for his face.
Boss’ body was steaming, the wounds from the onslaught of attacks healing themselves at a minor rate. He wouldn’t be back to full, but it was better than taking the full force. If anything, he was still covered in scratches and burns, but a good chunk of them seemed to have been healed. Whether or not he contacted the barrage of fists, Boss would keep up the offensive with a few powerful kicks aimed toward the to keep them pointed away with a yell. “Come on, come on, come on! Those hits were like a Beemon trying to sting me!”
----- 1. Boss healed minor wounds off Dragon and Strong and used the afterimage to close the distance and attack Luke and keep him unable to fire. |

It had been a while since the twins had battled, but now that they were sparring with an opponent of similar strength, all the training they had done had come rushing back. While the brothers had bickered and messed around each other most other times, there was still the underlying fraternal love that they had for each other. That was what made them strong. After all, in the comings and goings of the digital world, they'd always have each other.
When Luke aimed to hit Boss, he was surprised to see both his shots miss, then gasped as Boss closed the distance and appeared right in front of him. His first realization was 'He can heal?!' his second thought was 'Ouch! That hurts!' as the Tekkenryumon followed up with an onslaught of melee attacks.
However, as the fighting continued, Luke revealed that he too was capable of fighting at the melee range. The wheel on his back spun momentarily, generating blue sparks over his body, namely directed at his legs, then with a strong kick, he aimed to counter one of Boss's kicks. If it connected, there would be a great thunderclap of energy as well as an electric shock as the lightning discharged. But, of course, that wasn't all that was going on.
Flying over them still, his left eye glowing green, the energy on his body growing more intense, Bellamy gave a grin. Boss wanted more? Then he'd get it. Bellamy raised his gun, then fired.
"Savage Nightmare!"
At once, 20 large balls of darkness came hurtling down at Boss, all of them curving through the air, tracking his movements. They were doubled in power by his emanating darkness, and increased even more from the bonds that Bellamy had with Luke, so much so that the dark energy was tinged with the same emerald green light that was radiating from his eye. The energy would then fly around Boss before converging on him all at once, a column of darkness bursting high into the air.
Luke is struck by Boss's onslaught, then counters with Raijin Kick.
Raijin Kick - Luke aims a kicking attack at the opponent, sparking with electricity. Will knock them down if they are the same level or lower. [Cooldown: 1 turn]
Bellamy's Fraternal Bond ability activates.
Bellamy uses Savage Nightmare.
Combat Passive Ability: Fraternal Bond - If Luke is damaged this turn, the power of Bellamy's attacks increase by 30% for one turn.
Savage Nightmare- Bellamy's fists glow with grey fire and he shoots his Oro Salmon at the enemy, creating about 20 medium velocity dark energy spheres. These wander about the battlefield before finally falling under Bellamy's control and spiral in toward the eventual target, dealing increased dark damage with superior accuracy. [Cooldown: 3 posts]
Damage is doubled by Emanating Darkness.
Emanating Darkness cooldown: 0/2 posts.

WHO'S THE BOSS?
I AM.
( tag: none ) As Boss landed hit after hit with the gun strapped Digimon, he could see the shadow of the Astamon flying above them, which meant he had another possible trick up his sleeve. As he dealt blow after blow, Boss heard something crackle within the air. He didn’t have much time to dodge, so he had to make do with what he did next. His ears hadn’t failed him at all, he did in fact hear something like electricity. The elecmon inspired Digimon, during one of his kicks, had retaliated with a kick of his own filled to the brim with thunder. He couldn’t change the course of his kick, but he was going to have to be brutish about this. And that was just his style. Once both legs collided, Boss felt that leg and most of his lower body go stiff, but he pushed through the numbness., but one leg pushing him down wasn’t enough for what he was going to do next.
“Good, but not good enough!” Boss roared. The Tekkenryumon used both his arms to grab Luke since he couldn’t get away from his range without some boost in speed. Once he got both of his hands on him, Boss would use all his upper body strength to send him like some sort of projectile towards the Astamon and the black orbs he was firing out. Most if not all of them had already been sent out and they began to converge around him, slowly coming closer and closer. Half of his body had been numbed out and in pain for a few moments, but he still had some feeling in one of his legs.
Good enough. Slamming one leg down, Boss cracked the floor and summoned another large stalagmite underneath him, the dragon clinging to the edge of it as it would careen upwards into the air towards the two Digimon with him clinging on it with one arm, and then soon the rest of his body until it would stop and he could jump off it once all the orbs collided at the base and eventually made it tumble down in a heap of black explosions. He felt the sting from that kick, but hopefully launching his friend up at him provided enough of a distraction for him to jump off the exploding stalagmite and careen himself like a cannonball with an extended kick towards them for a rude and dynamic entry with the force of the explosion under him as momentum.

As Luke's kick connected, and judging from the expression on Boss's face, he'd landed something he hadn't been expecting. But this feeling of triumph was short-lasted when the opponent full-on grabbed him. Luke wasn't expecting this, so for a moment he was caught off guard. But, the Dynammon, standing 7' in height, weighted down with armor, he would be tougher than usual to throw. Especially when in an act of desperation, he aimed his twin blasters, still gripped tightly in his paws, directly down back at Boss, delivering a parting gift of twin Thundercast blasts at point blank range.
But Luke was thrown hurtling at Bellamy. The Astamon's eyes narrowed. He could either fly out of the way, or manipulate the darkness spheres away from him, but not both. As a result, Bellamy was forced to do a bit of both. He was forced from his vantage point, while at the same time manipulating the spheres away from Luke. As a result, Luke flew in a high arc, before, returning to the ground, landing on his powerful legs with minimal damage.
In the meantime, Bellamy, flying through the air, attempted to salvage what he could of his attack against Boss. Well, he attempted to dodge on his stalagmite, and as the darkness spheres converged, they would explode upward, so, with all that done, it seemed after the convergence of Bellamy's Savage Nightmare, Boss then launched at one of them with a powerful kick.
However, assuming he had managed to evade Luke's point-blank blasters, Bellamy was now ready and prepared to launch his own attack, another Darklight. But with Luke not getting hit, it was only standard strength. A rush of grey fire surged at Boss.
Combat Log:
- Boss managed to grab Luke and throw him, but, with upper body strength alone, it wasn't at very fast velocity. - Just before Boss threw him, Luke fired a double point-blank Thundercast at him. - Bellamy was forced to change the trajectory of his attack because of Luke being thrown at him and being forced to evade, cancelling out the accuracy bonus. - Through evasive flying and maneuvering, Luke and Bellamy evade Boss's kick. - Luke landed on the ground with minimal damage. - Bellamy uses Darklight.
Luke uses Thundercast on Boss.
Thundercast - Luke fires his uncharged twin blasters at the opponent, casting beams of charged plasma at them. He can aim for one target fully with both shots, or aim for two different targets at half power.
Raijin Kick cooldown: 1/1

Darklight - Bellamy clicks the fingers of his right hand and conjures a powerful blast of dark flames in a matching style of his Semper Fire attack as a Rookie level. A Dark elemental attack. WHO'S THE BOSS?
I AM.
( tag: none ) Damn, it didn’t seem like he threw him hard enough to knock the Astamon out of the air. Boss had already launched himself in the air with the demonic gunman and his partner in tow. A kick wasn’t going to do him any good here. Since he’d grabbed him, there was now the issue of the two just shooting him down from the air, and he couldn’t exactly take the brunt, because then he’d have to deal with falling and even more pain. So the only thing he could do was counter attack while he was up here, which didn’t leave him many options as his ascension would soon cease. The Tekkenryumon was a large beast, falling from this height was going to hurt combined with the attack, so he simply steeled himself and glared at the two Digimon in the hopes this idea he concocted in the last few seconds worked out.
“The hell you lookin at!?” Boss yelled. In that instant, his eyes burst red, two large lasers emitting from them at high speed toward the grey fire coming from the Astamon’s gun. The result was instant. An explosion occurred where the attacks landed, propelling Boss downward towards the coliseum ground and away from the point-blank lasers pointed at him. Boss curled up tightly, landing on the ground with a large thud on his legs and kneeling. the large dragon Digimon patted himself down, chest rising and falling slowly. He took a deep breath and rotated his shoulders. Despite his attempt at a decent fall, the blowback hurt a bit. It would have hurt more if he took another hit direct on.
But even after all that, you couldn’t ignore the wide grin on his face as he bashed his knuckles together. “Ahh, I missed this! Nothing like the odds being against you to get the data flowing again,” the Tekkenryumon shouted, beginning to do a set of squats on the spot since there was a good enough measure of distance to talk and keep doing his thing. “How’s about we take this up a notch? I’m still feelin antsy.” He grinned. Now that he’d gotten the warm up out of the way, he was itching to get the real fight started.
After finishing his squats, Boss' body began to glow brightly, almost mimicking the sun in intensity as his body grew and changed. In the brutish, bancho dragon's place, was an old looking dragon who'd seen many centuries. The black scaled, white maned samurai dragon rotated his arms and cracked his neck, armored face spilling out steam slightly as his bulky muscles contacted and flexed to adjust himself. He was still just as fiery as before as one would see the Gaiomon hopping from one clog wearing foot to the other, both jagged swords at the ready. The twelve foot samurai grinned, green eyes pointed at the two Perfect levels, waiting for them to follow suit. "Like I said, I aint gettin any younger."
---- 1. Boss used Draconian Glare to explode Bellamy's attack, proeplling him to the ground to avoid Luke's lasers and present a way to kick things up a bit. |

Luke and Bellamy were somewhat unsure of what was happening here. However, since Bellamy had already launched his attack, Boss's attempt at interposing it was rendered ineffective. As he threw Luke through the air at him, Bellamy was able to manipulate the bullets he shot so they missed his brother.
That was why Bellamy had decided to attack with Savage Nightmare with Boss so close to Luke. He didn't want a single shot to hit his twin, so he'd keep with the attack he had most control of. Then, as Boss seemed more focused on Bellamy, Luke wrestled free of his grip, the Dynammon landing on the ground as the independent digimon spoke his challenge.
The result was that as Bellamy launched his attack, it was interposed at once by Boss's counterattack. Thus, little more was done by a targetless explosion between them.
Then, Boss seemed to say something in approval of all this, did some minor stretching, then offered to up this up a notch. Colin was initially nervous about this, but, with both Bellamy and Luke giving an eager nod at him, he drew into his cards again, then drew the green one. If his partners insisted, well, he'd let them have their challenge.
"Digimodify! Twin Mega Evolution activate!"
At once, his partners glowed, and transformed once again.
"Astamon digivolve to...!" Bellamy grew again. Wings sprouted in full from his back. His hat turned into a mask that covered half of his face. White digizoid armor covered much of the vulnerable parts of his body, and his Oro Salmon gun transformed into a much more powerful weapon. "...Beelzemon!" he finished, revealing his Mega level.
"Dynammon digivolve to...!" Luke continued, the Elecmon variant digimon transforming. The blue digizoid armor on his chest grew, and attached itself to his waist as well. Eventually, he looked like a variant of Magnamon, only retaining his base red and white furred form, with blue armor in the place of gold. "Fulminomon!" he declared at the end of it.
Boss made a taunt at them, but the twins only smiled in response. It was Bellamy who spoke first. "That might be true, old man, but think you can keep up with us?" he asked, eager to begin the battle at this new level.
