Name: The Crucible [Part 1: The Beginning].
Member Count: 4-5.
Rank: S.
Client: Deeplane City.
Levels Needed: Adult/Champion. And at least one Ultimate/Perfect level or higher.
Plot Description:
Well, here we are. Everything has gone more or less smoothly thus far; the core of The Council had gotten numerous and valuable contributions, and after various efforts at expanding and constructing, the City's foundations are finally starting to take shape.
But it's not time to celebrate just yet. Regrettably, that's both a good and a bad thing. When something as majestic begins to become a real possibility, more and more eyes begin to observe, to try and seize those events to further their own goals.
Such is the case of the three most advanced settlements in the Dark Area; the Ungireyid Citadel, the Tayichi'tai Stronghold, and the Kara-nam Fortress. While, until now, the relationships among the three have been a tense ceasefire, the introduction of a fourth player to the Dark Area's politics has caused unrest; rumors of shipments, weapons and even mercenary digimon not native to the place mobilizing has been heard. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Turbulent times call for turbulent measures, and the truth is that Deeplane can't afford to oppose the three settlements at the same time, so... it's in the hands of its members to figure out what to do regarding this. Temporary/Permanent alliances? Truces? Betrayal or maybe... sabotage? Those and many, many more options are on the table.
How to approach every situation will depend entirely on the team.
Mission Description:
This one is tricky, because the avenues of success and failure are abundant, yet intricate on their own. But there's something that can be explained, and that is that, at least at the start of the mission, the three settlements are already expecting envoys from their neighbors to arrive, whether to negotiate, to bargain or worse. Besides that, what happens there and how everything evolves depends exclusively on how the team proceeds.
The end goal is always the same, however; by the end of the mission, Tayichi'tai, and Kara-nam must be either allied with Deeplane or neutralized. Permanently.
Objective Summary:
—Get to a city.
—Talk with their diplomats.
—Decide on what to do.
—Rinse and repeat (or not)
Grace Period: 3 days.
This has the potential to be rather long, so I'll enforce this one to the best of my ability. I won't be an ogre that doesn't listen to reasons if presented, but please be responsible if joining.
Rewards:
—75 Posts (or 62500 bits) per person. To be divided equally between each participant and the team vault.
—9 additional Posts (or 7500 bits) per person per each hidden bonus objective completed, capping at the at the possibility of 18 additional posts (or 15000 bits) per person. Similarly, to be divided equally between each participant and the team vault.
—Two people can eschew their rewards in order to receive a single Legendary Artifact. The exact process and who may be eligible to partake in this depends on their contribution to the mission.
