Trespassers (Adrian, Blake)

The Digital World attracts Tamers in all shapes and forms, be it portals to the Digital World, Digimon themselves, or the mysteries the both contain. And, of course, the scars of Digimon incursion into the Human World. Something still plain for all to see, if the chain link fence put up bordering the Entertainment District is any indication, bits of rubble mostly cleaned up, but the signs of disrepair, of something unfathomable and destructive having happened, is obvious for all to see. It's unclear as to how the damage was caused, but the evidence is there, plain for all to see...
And Alice isn't the type to let a mystery like this slip away. Standing by the suspiciously unguarded fence in one of the less used alleys, she looks up and down at the mesh wall, considering her options with her partner not too far away, leaning against it with a slight frown on her face. "Ya know, I could just fly you over, but I ain't stoppin' you." Alice's Digimon remarks, a preemptive roll to her eyes done before Alice even talks back.
"I suspected something was off about this since I arrived in Japan, you know." The green haired human remarks, nervous about what she has in mind, but most certainly willing to do it. "If it was what the news said it was, things wouldn't be quite this secretive." Alice approaches the fence, and looks behind her before beginning to climb it. The last thing she wants is someone, particularly law enforcement, to see her. It's not the first time she's done something outside the law, either way, but it has been a while.
As soon as she hits the ground on the other side, she makes sure not to be seen or heard while Dorothy merely uses her broom to ascend over the fence. "Well, hopefully nobody's going to catch us... Mostly you."
Neither can shake the feeling that they aren't alone, however...

"So we're finally coming here, huh?" Shoutmon asked his partner Adrian as the two trespassed into the closed-off Entertainment District. This area was like something out of a disaster movie, with broken buildings and rubble everywhere. It reminded Adrian of the old Shibuya high school...
"How funny would it be if we ran into Dante and Wormmon here?" Adrian chuckled.
"And see Wormmon jiggle around human boobs? Yeah, I'll pass," Shoutmon said, rolling his eyes. What did humans find so appealing about female chests...?
Suddenly, the two of them heard something hitting the ground. Immediately, they looked to their right, both on guard either to fight, or to run. To their surprise, it looked more like... a girl. A human girl, with green hair. Just a human girl...
"Oh shit, Shoutmon, hide," Adrian hoarsely whispered as he sucked the Digimon into the V-Pet, just before the girl or anyone else could see him. After he was hidden, Adrian called out to her; "Hey! I see you had the same idea, huh?"

Rarely being curious, Blake wonders as to why are they doing something like this as looks at them about to pass the fence that the two that seemed to be climbing over. "What in the world? Could they be just going into a construction site?" Blake murmured as he couldn't tell. He wanted to approach it but, it was none of his business. However, something tells him that he won't hear the end of it as he felt a bit of pressure on his head with himself sighing deeply.
It was a Terriermon, a mercenary Blake purchased, starting to lay on his head as his long ears almost blinded him until Blake moved them out of his face. "Really pushing it here, aren't you?" Blake slightly looked up, peeved.
"You know, I would go over there to stop them from potentially trespassing but, your social awkwardness is probably going to prevent me." The Terriermon spoke to him as he then got off his head to face him. "I mean, it wouldn't hurt to AT LEAST take a quick look as to what the lady and her digimon are doing if one of them thinks there's something suspicious." He continued speaking.
"Um, how did you know that?" Blake asked him.
Terriermon squinted at him and pointed his left ear towards his right ear. "Oh, It couldn't possibly be something that is obvious as your cluelessness." Terriermon said sarcastically.
Blake rolled his eyes and sighed. "I think I get it.
"So, are we going to go?" Terriermon asked him.
"Fiiiiiiiine" Blake said to him.
The both of them came a bit closer to the fence as Blake's heart risen a little bit. "I got a bad feeling about this."

With not just one but two people noticing her, Alice immediately begins to turn around, and her Digimon partner, the humanoid Digimon not too far from her, readies an attack only to be called off, the witch already having prepared a spell. "Relax, Dorothy. If these two wanted to attack us, they would have already done so... You really are getting restless, you know that?"
The green magic circle at the Witchmon's hands fades out, and she floats back down from her vantage point, shooting a disappointed glare at her own tamer before she gets off of her broom. "C'mon, it's not like I was actually gonna hurt 'em." Setting her broom beside her and leaning on it, boredom creeps across her face.
"...You're not helping my point or yours." Alice soon approaches the unknown young man, the first to notice her, and holds out her hand as a gesture of both greeting and peace, meaning no harm... And perhaps jumping to conclusions, given her sudden mention of what she is. "I'm Alice, and that witch over there is my partner Dorothy. And you are?" A nervousness is in her voice despite her confidence, perhaps having wanted to remain unseen. Then again, having her Digimon out in the open does seem contradictory to that. "...And please excuse my Digimon's behavior. She's been restless lately, and is nice when you get to know her, I promise." Continuing her apology as she notices the pair still behind the fence, her posture is slightly tense, occasionally glancing to Dorothy. "And as for why I'm here... I suspect Digimon had something to do with why this part of Shibuya is wrecked. I research them, you see."
"Yeah, that." Dorothy glances at the person already past the fence with a slight frown, her teeth exposed. There's something very unusual about the way she looks, like for the first few seconds, she seems strangely... Normal. Like she''s just someone in a costume until the details suddenly become obvious. "At least it keeps things interestin'. Lotsa variety to where we end up."
"Anyways. If you plan on following or joining up with me, I suggest we get moving. The last thing any of you would want is to be caught here. Climbing the fence isn't that hard, and you'd expect tighter security... Maybe whatever is here is so scary that it keeps people out anyways." Alice chuckles, gesturing to the other Tamer and the Terriermon to get over to where she is. "If there's anything dangerous, we're probably prepared, right?"

Having known about the existence of Digimon for about seven months now, Adrian was practically prepared for any scenario, since most of them involve giant monsters nowadays. So it was not uncommon for Adrian to immediately pull out his new light baton upon seeing the witch prepare to cast a spell at him. Thankfully, the green-haired woman called her off, extending her hand towards Adrian in a friendly manner.
"My name's Adrian," he says, accepting the handshake. "And it's no problem. My Digimon can be like that as well, sometimes. By the way, very dangerous to assume that I'm a Tamer. You got lucky that I happened to be one."
"Does that mean I can come out now?" Shoutmon asked from inside Adrian's D-Arc watch.
"Yeah, come on out... Shoutmon, realize!" Soon, a beam of light came out of the D-Arc and shot right to the ground, forming into a red metallic dragon with a white belly and headphones.
"Heya hiya! My name's Shoutmon! And dontcha forget it!"
When Alice said she researched Digimon, Adrian immediately seemed to know where she was from. "Are you part of the Digital Field Club? I'm already acquainted with Haru and Miyu in the club. And yeah, this part of Shibuya and the old school definitely scream 'Hey! A Digimon was here!'"
"I seriously hope no pissed off whackos try to kill us or something, like what Dante got us wrapped up into."
It was now that Shoutmon noticed someone else in the corner of his eye. It was some kid and a small dog-like Digimon with big ears walking towards the fence. "Do we just attract Digimon tamers or something?"

"I'm not sure about this." Blake said to himself, regretting agreeing with Terry about the fence. More people, to him, is a bad thing. Terriermon sighed as he fell back a bit to then run towards the fence as he had his ears launch him up to the air to finally glide down to the other side of the fence to bow to them. He looked back at Blake, gesturing him with his left hand to just climb over the fence already."If it's dangerous then I'm going to have Renamon come out." He said out loud as he started to climb the fence.
"You wouldn't have to if he was already out of that V-Pet....thingamajig." Terriermon shrugged. "And if you don't stuff your digivice deep inside your pocket. You have a cradle for a reason!"
As Blake finally got over the fence, he ignored what Terry said, jumping down with an "Oof."
"My name is Blake." was all he said to the people currently present. You could tell he was paranoid by the reluctance in voice.

"...Relax. Whatever is here is probably not going to attack us. That would be foolish." The green haired woman watches Shoutmon emerge from the D-Arc, a slight smile forming on her face when she hears about the field club. "Yes. I'm with Miyu and Haru, researching Digimon with my partner. It's hard work, really..." She is about to explain herself further, but Dorothy interrupts her, laughing to herself.
"C'mon, must you do this every time you meet someone new? Yeah, she works with 'em. While everyone else is doin' one thing, we're taking a look where everyone else is too scared or busy." Dorothy's laughter stops, and she looks to the other two Tamers with an air of confidence, a straightforward explanation provided by the Witchmon. "Alice figured that if she gets caught, she can just live in the Digital World for the foreseeable future."
The green haired woman just rolls her eyes, and grumbles. "Don't even think about that idea, Dorothy. I'd rather not." The comment about any crazy psychos being around makes her slightly uneasy, assuming that maybe the absolute worst of the worst Tamers hang out in places like these. "Well, follow me, I guess, seeing as I'm the oldest here... That said, tell me a little about yourselves and your adventures so far." She gets moving, her steps light and slightly nervous, the isolated husks of buildings, some empty, others still full of junk luring her through the prospect of adventure.
Treading the rough concrete and bits of rubble, Alice urges the two to follow her further into the Entertainment District, her eyes and ears alert for any movement or sound, though Dorothy keeps watch better, floating slightly above the group on broomstick for a while before sinking back down and walking. Alice speaks up, perhaps uncomfortable with the silence. "This place must have been evacuated and quarantined quick if things are still a mess like this... Then again... What kind of Digimon could have done this much damage?"
As if in response, faint laughter comes from somewhere in the distance, and she glares in that direction before looking back more calmly to the other Tamers, silently asking them if they want to investigate.

"With all these times we meet members from this Field Club, I'm surprised we're not practically IN it," Shoutmon joked after Alice confirmed that she was indeed in that club.
"Hey, I'm down to join a team of rogue-Digimon hunters," Adrian tells the red dragon, before facing to Alice and the newly arrived Blake and Terriermon. "Anyways, my name is Adrian and this is my partner Shoutmon. It's nice to meet you all. Also, I have a friend that lives in the Digital World currently. He's a twin Tamer... he, uh, had a little issue after his parents found out about his Digimon."
Alice asked for the others to explain their adventures to her. "Well, our story is pretty long... and the last time we told someone about it, they almost ended up killed because of it. We're not gonna drag you guys into our little problem, so don't even try to ask about it."
As the group walked, Adrian and Shoutmon both heard the faint laughter as well. The former caught Alice silently asking if they wanted to investigate. Adrian nodded slightly, then held a finger up to his mouth, as if to say "be quiet."

After Adrian talked about himself and his partner, Terriormon breathed a sigh of relief.
"I'm just a person. It's really none of your business." Blake told them flat out while taking the cradle out of his pocket and inserting it on his wrist which housed his D-3 "It's none of your business and I'm only here because of him." He pointed at Terriermon.
Terriermon just stared at him. "You do realize that you said 'it's none of your business' twice, right?" He tilted his head a bit. "Also, you didn't really have to go over the fence."
"I just didn't want to hear you nagging about it, like him," Blake answered him back. "And, I think I'm aware of what I just said."
"Going back to the first sentence, who, exactly?" Terriermon crossed his arms.
"Con-"
Blake was cut off, as they both heard a faint laughter as well which gave Terry a chill down his spine. "Okay, this just turned up the creep factor way up high."
Blake also stayed quiet. "Are you sure coming here was even a good idea in the first place?" He whisper-yelled at Alice and Adrian.

Taking intentionally slow, cautious steps, Alice approaches the sound of the laughter, not sure what it could possibly be... Or wanting to know, for that matter. She approaches one of the old, slightly decayed buildings, and looks up, only to take a few quick steps back. "No, it's not coming from there, wherever it is... It's moving?" Alice glances to the others before heading down one of the myriad alleyways scattered about, the laughing coming from further in, and becoming more clear as the group advances, the sound jovial and now clearly that of multiple individuals, whatever they may be.
Dorothy rolls her eyes, the Witchmon growing increasingly bored already. "Are we really chasin' 'round mysterious sounds?" There's something about them that makes it familiar to her for some reason, yet at the same time discomforting. "They do sound a lil' like Digimon, but ya can't be sure here in the Human World. This place is full of nothin' but excitement 'n weirdness." If anything, she is more uneasy than her own Tamer.
"Yes, we are, and hunting down rogue or stray Digimon does seem like a somewhat important task, now that I think about it... Maybe looking into it will help us understand why there are portals to the Digital World in the first place." Alice shakes her head at Blake and Terriermon's fear, perhaps being experienced -or foolish- enough to just shrug off the strange happenings. "Listen. Whatever we find probably isn't too dangerous. I get the feeling most things that are genuinely threatening stay in the Digital World for some reason... I know from experience." She briefly tenses up, as if remembering something she doesn't want to, and falls back a bit, letting Dorothy be in front of the group. "We're ready for the worst, right?"

The Tamer took note of the human and Terriermon bickering with each other. It didn't seem like Blake didn't even want to be involved with Digimon in the first place. Yes, even Adrian and Shoutmon have had spats of anger at each other more than a few times, but at the end of the day Adrian was still fascinated by Digimon and always made up with Shoutmon by the end. He hoped that Blake wouldn't act like this the whole time...
Adrian was also slow when following Alice's lead, this wasn't his first rodeo. Just in case, Adrian took out his light baton, but he did not activate it quite yet.
"What do you mean that it's moving?" Adrian asked Alice as he looked around. Now Adrian and Shoutmon could hear them more clearly as well, it was definitely more than one thing laughing.
"I thought Halloween was supposed to be over," Shoutmon said, a chill going down his spine. "This is just straight-up creepy."
"You're telling me," Adrian sighed. "But just be prepared to react... whatever it is."

"Blake, what's going on?" Could be heard from his D-3 as he lifted his wrist up about to whisper but, decided not to. What type of situation was he thinking of getting himself into? It's bad enough that he grew distant for some reason. When he arrived to Shibuya, he didn't expect himself to socialize with people so quickly. Blake wanted to avoid them but, he couldn't help it. After a mission involving a Minotaurmon, he wasn't going to take his chances with anyone. Or maybe he should?
"I'm going to ask you to let me out now." The voice spoke in a stern matter. Blake stopped to sigh to himself. He would but, not at this moment. Considering that now, he was mostly paying attention to the laugh that was now MULTIPLE. He kept on going, following Adrian and Alice.
"Excuse me, Wizard Lady, but, are you sure this isn't a trap that we're walking into?" Terriermon asked Dorthy.

"...Could be, but if there's one thing I know 'bout Alice, it's that she's stubborn." Dorothy lets out a long, cackling laugh, deciding to check on her own Tamer and slow down. "Hey, Greeny. What's the big idea with followin' this sound anyways?"
Alice's response comes out rather slowly. "I want to know what it is, that's all. I'm just worried that it might be a hostile Tamer." She looks too both Adrian and Blake with a slight frown before looking back forwards. "That encounter came very close to harming human lives. I don't want that to happen again." Shaking her head, the green haired woman cracks a confident smile, perhaps a false one, and she takes lead of the group once again. She stops before turning a corner, the laughter and sounds now clear, signalling the others to stop as well before taking a slow peek from the wall, a sigh of relief coming from her, but there's still a tension to her posture, as if what she's seen still isn't what she wanted. "...And now I feel like an idiot for being so worried."
After Alice gestures to the two to come closer and see for themselves, the group spots the source of the sound. A duo of In-Training Digimon playing tag, something that would be pleasant, and even cute... If it wasn't completely out of place. They scamper about the remains of what was once an old store, now long deserted and devoid of anything of worth.
"Lame..." Dorothy rolls her eyes, the Witchmon seeming even less impressed and borderline frustrated, her teeth clenched into a large, clearly visible grimace. "C'mon, this is undewhelming."
The moment she says the words, a much less pleasant, eerie groan comes from somewhere in the distance, and the two Digimon who were the source of the laughter scatter, as if something monstrous has awoken from a long nap. Alice soon looks to the rest of the group, slightly tense once again, and she speaks. "Well, that explains why they don't want anyone to go here... They still haven't cleaned up the big messes. Perhaps... We should leave if things get too crazy."

"Either a hostile Tamer..." Shoutmon responds, "or a hostile rogue Digimon. If it's the latter, we have some experience when it comes to catching them. We're sort of like bounty hunters, in a way."
Alice gave a confident smile at the group before they continued on, giving Adrian the idea that she knew what she was doing. They stop and turn a corner, only to find out that the laughing was just two in-training Digimon playing around. Both the human and Digimon sweatdropped; they had been worrying over nothing.
"You're not the only one," Adrian told Alice after hearing her comment. Although they were still Digimon out in the human world, and there is a chance that they'd grow bigger and ultimately want to destroy things. Sending them back would still be the right thing to do. Slowly and carefully, Adrian approached the two in-training Digimon.
"Hey there... you two having fun? What are your names?"

Blake decided to pay no mind to the smile that was given to him while Terriermon smiled back, now feeling somewhat less nervous about all of this. "I'm pretty sure, other than me, are going to kick whoever's butt needs to be kicked." He chuckled, trying to keep his cool.
Blake kept on looking at his D-3 from time to time, not hearing anything from Renamon. "Maybe he gave up?" He thought to himself. "This is a hard decision." He muttered to himself.
Terry would look at Blake and sigh. "I already told you before. Once there's trouble, I'm out of here. Besides, Renamon can go up to the champion level. I'm sure that-"
He stopped talking as Alice gave them a gesture to come to where she was, now knowing what they were getting so worked up about. It was just two digimon, in-training, playing tag of sorts around a very dilapidated shop. "Well then." Blake let out a sigh of relief.
Terry heard the groan loud and clear after Witchmon said something, facepalming directly at her with Blake stepping back a bit. "Perfect." was the words that escaped from his mouth.
After Alice said about leaving incase if things get hectic, he nodded in agreement. "You're right. And, I think I may have an idea as to why this construction site looks disastrous." He spoke.
