Shoot! Tadayoshi thought he was at least close, but he became very disheartened as the instructor pointed out not only that he had failed the very first exercise but that he was far, far away from passing it. He looked to the floor, ashamed, and somewhat tuned out as the rest attempted it. The only solace was that he was in good company; Bellamy and Anzu both failed with him. As it turned out, that was just a prelude for the rest of the class and maybe even the rest of the semester! Lovely. Father won't be happy about this kind of homework, but even he'll understand it has to be done... I hope.
As the group exited the room together, Tadayoshi pitifully groaned.
"My next free period isn't until tomorrow. I'm sorry. I'd love to study with you, but I have to get to my next class." Tadayoshi inclined his head. "I'd love to see you more sometime though. Until then... I suppose I'll see you at work?" On that note the boy waved his goodbye to the group and left it.

"I'm in the same boat as Teppei, really. Differing classes, most likely, but the same boat." This homework, though? Easy. With the Digital World in mind, Akemi could just stay there for a bit and read for a far longer period there than over here. Anzu, meanwhile, wasn't too disappointed in her failure.
That instructor did have some ludicrously high standards, though. Like Luminas on steroids. "...Oh. And another thing." Akemi was about to head off, but she did have something else to offer. "...If you need any notes, I'm willing to share. My name's Kermit on the 'net."
Hopefully either of the James' would remember it--Or Tadayoshi hopefully heard. Either way, Akemi headed off for her next class with Anzu in tow.
