Other events had transpired on that eventful day. The appearance of the Sakkakumon, an outbreak of the D-Reaper, and even a largely glossed over appearance of a Dark Spire would have all made stories of their own merit, but they were all hidden underneath the fact that the Sovereign, Azulongmon, had briefly returned to the Digital World to wreak havoc on the forces acting against it - and the reporting was immediate, and scathing.

Just how bad did it have to be that a god would descend on the land? Just what had happened to the world, where the D-Reaper possessed this much power? Were they facing their end? Or was this just another glitch in the system?

Endless debates, accusations between Luminas and Terminus, and a sheer sense of tensity, fear, and uncertainty took hold of the surface, but just underneath, things started to move at a rapid pace:

Faith that the data from the statue could be used to quell the threat.

Things were moving quite smoothly, and as it was, perhaps the D-Reaper itself wouldn't be as terrible a disease for the world as it was once theorized... but as that chapter started to close, some saw it as one last chance to get their opportunity.
