Not all of the marked Digimon met as many civilians or resistance - no, the Wisemon needed searchers of all kinds for this. And so, out and alone into the forest, was one particular scout with his own way of searching through the trees.
A dark Cherubimon - the characteristic dark grin stretched wide across his face, as he once more set his hands down onto the forest floor. After a moment, a dark, sickly light slipped up through the canopy of the woods, the ground below starting to petrify and stiffen, earning a texture like stone. Roots were cut, and foliage was thrown askew, before one final surge of energy would vault upward. It took the form of a sickly surge of purple light, before vanishing just as quick as it came, the dry trash data billowing in the wind.
Left before the dark angel was nothing more than a large square of dead, stone-like earth, a good hundred meters wide and across. Cautiously, the Cherubimon lumbered forward, dragging his front knuckles against the dirt, as he picked up a particular looking stone... before carelessly throwing it over his shoulder.
That wasn't it, either. Nor was that root, nor was that wayward toaster... it seemed that his target wasn't here either.
No matter. He had all the time in the world to comb the land.

The Dark Cherubimon wouldn't remain alone for long as a something dark and metallic flashed through the trees on the edge of the now desolate wasteland the digimon had wrought. A Behemoth motorcycle coming in for a sliding stop just on the edge of the opening it's motor rumbling darkly as the lone helmeted rider perched atop it's back seemed to pause and almost... breath in the trash data that hung in the air like dust tinting the world around them red. Then again Behemoths weren't known for choosing normal riders even less humans as the red static sparked down the figures arms as they reached up to remove their helmet revealing a fair faced woman. Blonde hair pooling down their shoulders in a wild mane and their off-blue eyes sharp and determined and bright. Those strange eyes seeming to flash almost crimson for a moment as they took another deep breath of data sitting up a little straighter as their gaze zeroed in on the fallen angel before them. A moment later a Tactimon and Durandamon crashed through the trees landing beside them. The Durandamon looking noticeably distressed as he watched the Dark Cherubimon. "Oh Cherry....what did those monster do to you?" Dagger murmured low under his breath pain tightening his throat at seeing his friend in such a state. "We'll save them Dagger. We're going to save as many as we can." The Doctor, for the bright green cross on the Woman's arm declared her as nothing less, assured him. "Caution would be wise Hime you aren't...well." The Tactimon advised eyeing his Tamer who half turned to flash him a nearly feral grin, the force of her smile almost covering up the jagged pain in her eyes. "I know, but I'm feeling better by the minute." Cassandra assured him before turning to assess their target her words ringing true as the Doctor seemed to hold herself with a little more strength with each breath she took. Though the fierce look never quite faded from her eyes as Behemoth rumbled out it's own assent from where the Doctor sat perched upon it.

Eva jogged to a stop. She took a moment, gasping for breath as she felt the sweat drip down her face and splash onto the forest floor. She wasn't even sure how long she had run for, or, honestly, for what reason. Perhaps it was to set her mind at ease, perhaps it was a shakedown of her systems after yet more repairs, or perhaps there was no reason whatsoever. Just running, just escaping for the sheer joy of it. The forest was always a good place for such escapism. An endless empty sea of lush greenery and forgiving, soft terrain underfoot and an atmosphere of general calm and tranquillity with its speckled sunlight peeking through the thick canopy above and small streams trickling to and fro through its deep interior, quenching the endless thirst of centuries old growth. The cyborg Renamon looked upon it all with a a satisfied sigh on her lips, slowly removing her earbuds from her ears, her hand in her pocket pausing her playlist. "This is it" she thought. "This is living. This is winning."Naturally, such tranquillity could never last long in the digital world. Such moments of peace, such moments of calm were fleeting and temporary. Eva had grown to understand this. To accept it, to cherish whatever she could get out here. That peace and quiet was about to be torn up by the roots. Literally. Eva's eyes locked on to a dark form. It was large, grim looking and frantically tearing through the dense woodland, the trees bending, twisting, solidifying, dying and turning to stone in its wake. She barely dodged under a carelessly flung boulder, the stone that must have been nearly as big as it was flung effortlessly by the dark digimon, the Renamon ducking into cover and activated her cloak as the trees around her withered just the same as the others. She had to do something, she knew that, but what? She didn't even know what this thing was. She elected to just observe for now, switching forms while still under the cover of her adaptive camouflage, a rifle rapidly appearing in her hands and armour on her body, 3D printed from elements in the surrounding forest leaving score marks underneath her feet, which she quickly covered over, flattening it down with her boots until it looked no different from the rest of the forest floor. She shouldered the weapon, looking through the scope. She had no idea what this thing was, or if it was even hostile. Looks alone could often be a good indicator in the digital world oddly enough, and the scattering of trash data, billowing and fluttering like ash in the wind was yet another warning sign. Nonetheless, she waited, watching, listening in as she heard the voices of a unfamiliar human and digimon.

A crash. A heavy snap of the trees behind him.
Though the Cherubimon was dedicated to his mission, it didn't take too much for him to realize the threat that appeared right behind him. Even as Dagger spoke, the seraphim's ear gave a slight twitch, the lumbering beast turning to face their direction. And, indeed... something about these three struck the monster as familiar.
Well. At least one of the three.
"Dag... ger?"
The monster's tone seemed more curious than anything else, a true hint of a kind tone hidden under that visage. However, that was all wiped away in the next moment - a faint 'puff' of light radiated from the Cherubimon's left hand, that wide grin spreading right across his face again. Rather than direct his arms downwards, he instead raised his palms towards the air - and almost immediately, the sky would fiercely darken above.
Both of the foes before him were metallic, after all. Barely a moment later, a powerful storm brewed, bolts of lightning powerfully aimed right at Dagger and Cloak's center of mass... and, curiously, one right towards Eva's cover. The Cherubimon seemed almost confused by that - was there another core his attack was attracted to?
"Don't... hide..." His voice lost all 'kindness', a sadistic grin appearing right in Eva's scope.
It would be then, unfortunately, that Cassandra would feel her phone vibrate...

"Oh shit." Cas muttered under her breath as the Cherubimon Vice turned towards them as she shoved her helmet back onto her head. Beside her Cloak and Dagger tensed unsure of the looming Digimon's intentions until it spoke. There within it's voice was an echo of the Cherry Dagger had once known. An echo of the kind mon that had simply longed to not hurt others and had already lead a life of tragedy and pain before Sorcermon had saved them and freed them from there madness. A gentle soul now reduced right back to the state they feared most.
"I'm here Cherry. We're going to save you." Dagger assured the Cherubimon Vice as he took a small step forward holding his bladed hand out to the Digimon. Only for something to gleam upon the Cherubimon's left hand as it's features twisted and lifted it's palms skyward.
"THERE! ON THEIR LEFT HAND! TAKE OUT THE MARK!" The Doctor yelled pointing at the spot as they revved Behemoth the demonic bike throwing itself bodily into reverse to escape the lightning storm that fell upon them. Cloak catching one bolt to the shoulder with a cry of pain as he lunged towards the side drawing his sheathed sword as he slammed it twice into the ground blackened spirits screeching up from the earth to grasp at and restrain the Cherubimon.
"Sorry about this Cherry, but it's for you own good." Dagger apologized as he flickered into a flash of light appearing close as he lashed out at the Digimon's left arm with his flashing blades.
Meanwhile with Behemoth swerving wildly to avoid the trees as they circled the clearing the Doctor clinging to it's back Cas smashed the answer button on her D-terminal switching it to HUD. Denryu wouldn't be able to see the Doctor's face, just her eyes inside her helmet as they flickered between off-blue and crimson the sound of combat roaring in the distance.
"Made hard contact General! What's the emergency?!" Cas gasped out ducking a low branch that brought her flat against the Bike's seat.
Cloak: -Army of The Damned: Stabs the ground twice with Jatetsufūjin-maru, awakening one hundred dead warriors which lash out grabbing onto up to three enemies with their spectral limbs and dragging them to the earth. Pulling down even airborn opponents as it restrains the enemies movement for one turn. This does not however stop the opponent from attacking or defending, but simply roots them in place. Cooldown three turns.
Dagger: - Ride The Light: Durandamon teleports himself and anyone he is currently holding in a flash of light within line of sight. Likewise he may choose to target and teleport a willing ally instead of himself. Cooldown two turns.

"Crap."
Eva tucked and rolled, a burst of lightning spearing mere inches overhead and smashing into a gnarled, ruined tree behind the cyborg, shattering it, a shard flying forth, cutting into her cheek as her HUD flashed up warning after warning, her view of the world flickering as the cloak shorted out from the near miss rendering her easily visible, or at least as easily visible as a Renamon wearing camouflaged human body armour would be.
"Don't... hide..."
"If you insist, wan-"
The digimon shouldered the rifle, adjusting to a kneeling shooting stance, peeking over a boulder and zeroed right in on the Dark Cherubmon's head before a voice got her attention. Looked like she wasn't the only one fighting here, and they were saying to target the left hand. Seemed they knew more about whatever this thing was than she did, perhaps it was a weakpoint? She adjusted her aim, squeezing off a rapid burst at the left hand, in particular, the strange glowing mark, being extremely careful to avoid friendly fire, waiting for just the right moment when Dagger was very much in the clear.

"Mark? My... mark..."
How had they caught on so quickly? The Cherubimon seemed almost confused as Cassandra's insistence, even as those soldiers dragged away at his feet. This Cherubimon had never been the quick sort from the start. Still, there was one flaw here:
Cassandra's words made it very clear where Dagger would be aiming. Even with the teleport, figuring out the trick was literally child's play, even the Cherubimon able to predict where Dagger would appear. And rather than simply stand and take the hit, the Cherubimon's hands gained a deep, purple glow - the same that he used when culling the ground below. Except, this time, those palms were aimed right for the Durandamon.
"Dagger... stay..." Even if that blade stuck deep into the Cherubimon's hand, the dark angel would still try and collapse both hands around the golden knight - and if he did, Dagger would near immediately feel the effects of the spell, a rush of dark energy flowing through his frame. Those looking on, well... starting from the point of contact, his frame would start to turn to stone.
This would be somewhat interrupted, of course, by Eva's careful shot landing right on the back of the Cherubimon's hand. If he had the grip, that hand would loosen for a mere moment.
From above, one more bolt of lightning would rain down upon all three of his adversaries... And Cassandra?
As she would answer the call, she would not hear the General, nor would she hear Emma. No, she'd simply hear a skirmish in the background, and an unfamiliar, authoritative voice:
'Blasts in place! Get ready, on three!'
Heaven's Judgement Duration: 2/3 Cherubimon uses 'Dark Harvest'.

"I'm not leaving you behind." Dagger growled out through gritted teeth his blade sinking deep into the Cherubimon Vice's hand even as he felt his armor where the fallen Angel Digimon encased him in it's grip begin to turn to stone only for pain to wrack his form as lightning ripped through his data, but the knight Digimon held firm refusing to let up his grip on the Cherubimon's hands. He just needed to hold on a little longer...
"STAR SPLITTER!" Cloak roared out lightning dancing across his frame as he ripped the chains from Jatetsufūjin-maru drawing the sword with a howl of fury and pain as he sent forth a blade of utter destruction aimed to slice right through not one, but both of the Cherubimon's arms where they were clasped about his twin.
While cupped within Cherry's palms Dagger drew on his own strength blade crackling with light as he roared out "Shatter Break!" Launching a blast of pure light up through Cherry's pinned hand the blast shattering inside the Dark Digimon's palm.
"General?" Cas questioned voice tight with fear as no visual remained forth coming and the voices that roared over the comm being those unfamiliar to her. "General I need you to answer me." The Doctor ordered, pleaded, fearing the worst even as the screams of her own Digimon echoed back to her the Tamer turning Behemoth hard as she looped the clearing.
Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong and she hadn't the time nor did she need a giant ticking timebomb of a rabbit to tell her as much.
Dagger stabs into Cherrys hand to hold him still.
Cloak uses Star Splitter aiming to slice through Cherry's arms. -Star Splitter: Tactimon unchains Jatetsufūjin-maru drawing the sword from it's sheath to wield its full sinister might as power that warps and damages the fabric of the digital world itself coalesces around the blade. Lashing out at his opponent with the sword Jatetsufūjin-maru ignores all shields and mirror abilities piercing straight through them like butter as the blade deletes and destroys the data of anything it touches doing massive damage in the process. Cooldown four turns. -Against All Odds: Whenever Tactimon is outnumbered or outgunned his attack power increases by ten percent for every additional enemy that joins the fight or twenty-five percent for every level above his own his main opponent possesses. Whichever is higher. (Passive)
Dagger Uses Shatter Break to tr to destroy Cherry's hands and the mark. - Shatter Break: Durandamon launches a blade of energy at it's opponent capable of slashing into Digichrome and steel shattering into thousands of razorsharp shards upon impact shredding everything within a fifteen meter radius. Cooldown two turns. - Pierce The Heavens: One of the Legend-Arms said to be able to pierce the heavens themselves. It's swords are designed to slice through any substance like paper. As such shields and defensive abilities used to block Durandamon's strikes function as one level lower in terms of stopping it's attacks. Cooldown of one post between activations. (Passive)
Cas tries not to freak out.

Eva glared, a snarl on her lips. Keeping the weapon fully shouldered she aimed again, her finger poised on the trigger. In front of her eyes flickered targeting data. A reticule clearly marking the dark Cherubmon's hand in a red hexagonal outline, next to it, information on distance, wind direction, and even predicted bullet drop flashed past. Something made her pause though. Static in the air, her HUD flickering once more. She didn't have chance to properly evade this time, nor did she have the cloak fowling the enemy digimon's aim.
The lightning slammed home just meters away from the cyborg, jagged chunks of smashed stone and clods of earth flying this way and that as the shockwave blew her off her feet and sent her rolling on the floor. She laid there in the undergrowth for a moment, dazed by the explosion, her vision swimming and ears ringing before she finally got a hold of herself. Fortunately, where she had landed was fairly well concealed behind a huge petrified fallen tree.
She moved around to get a better angle, being sure to stay low and keeping her head down. Despite this though, she just couldn't get a clean shot at the mind controlled digimon's hand. Cloak and Dagger were in the way. She had to wait, not wanting to hit either of them. Instead, she elected to cloak again, despite it not working too well before and close the range, taking great care to muffle her footsteps as much as she could.
Move used: Spectre optical camouflage. Maximum usage time: Four posts, recharge 1 post.

"Not behind... you here."
The Cherubimon's voice rolled on out as calm and haunting as it ever did, and Dagger would find himself dealing a bit worse with those electrical strikes then he did at the start of the fight. His once fully metallic body was now laced heavily with stone, after all: instead of a clean and full discharge, the Durandamon would, instead, feel an actual discharge where the metal of his frame met the conjured stone. It would hurt, and if taken repeatedly, would lead to long-term damage.
Right now, though, it seemed like their sniper friend was leaving the other three of them alone - and as Cloak and Dagger were about to find out, this angel of Vice wasn't scared of what needed to be done. Even as he kept his grip around Dagger, his ear perked as Cloak approached from above. A slash across both of his arms?
As if he'd stay still! At once, both of the Cherubimon's hands gained a blinding, golden light, a powerful Lightning Spear charged in both hands. In Dagger's case, this would more literally mean that he would feel a sudden, more powerful surge of electricity wrack through his body - and Cloak's attack, though powerful, had a simple flaw.
All the Cherubimon did was slightly raise his grip - and put Dagger right in line with that powerful slash. Of course, this meant that Dagger's sword would pierce right through the center of Cherubimon's hand - and through the mark in the back.
Was that enough? For now, the grip held...
And once more - one final time - a blast of lightning surged from the sky, directly on Cloak and Eva's position. Though in Eva's case, it was remarkably overhead... Cas, meanwhile, would not get her wish. No answer from the General.
There would just be a flash. A billow of smoke over the camera. A shaky fade to white... and static. Heaven's Judgement Duration: 3/3 Dark Harvest Cooldown: 1/3 Petrifaction status duration: -Has not started to count down, in contact with Cherubimon-

"Right~" Cas snarled gritting her fangs behind her helmet as the call become nothing, but static before clicking to black. Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong. Someone had thought it would be a good idea to attack her team while she was away and she had ever intention of making them regret it.
"I ain't got time for this shit Cherry!" The Doctor growled southern drawl slipping as she slid the Renamon card through her card reader as Dagger screamed. Lightning riddling his frame till suddenly the noise abruptly cut off as the Durandamon crumpled safely five meters away. Leaving the way clear for Star Breaker to rocket towards the Cherubimon Vice.
"Dagger pull back for triage. Cloak keep em busy!" Cas snapped out sliding two data sticks into her Digivice as Jegan and Zaku coalesce out of light next to her.
"On it! Be quick about it Hime!" The Tactimon called out staggering with a guttural cry of pain as another bolt of lightning rocketed through his frame leaving his cape singed and armor sizzling. Leaving the Mega to spin following up his initial strike with another series of slashes at the Cherubimons arms praying one, just one, of the five strikes from Five Sided Fortification got through.
"Doctor?" Jegan greeted the Biomon's eyes going wide in alarm as Zaku gasped beside him.
"Help me grab Dagger!" Cas ordered dismounting as she rushed to her Digimon's side grabbing him by one arm as the Biomon lunged after her. The pair moving to drag the Durandamon back.
"Zaku I need a lay of the land. I want to know where the Wisemon is and who he's got out here and I wanted to know it yesterday!" The Doctor snapped out the Monitamon snapping into a salute as he turned and darted into the forest.
"If they're going to keep me from my team, kidnap my people, and make my partners hurt, then I'm gonna make em bleed." Cassadra swore low and vicious as the Biomon began bombarding the injured and whimpering Dagger with blue healing light. The Doctor half kneeling to take her partners head in her lap running careful hands over his face.
"I gotta...gotta save Cherry." Dagger croaked as Cas gently shushed him.
"We'll have you back in the fight before you know it." Cas murmured the only softness and gentleness the furious woman could spare being for her team.
Cas uses a Card and brings out Zaku and Jegan DA-03
Card Name: Renamon
Type: Digimon
Rank: Bronze

Diamond Storm: A hail of razor sharp shards of glass are summoned and fired at the enemy in one wave
Kohenkyo: A small wind rotates around the target Digimon and they quickly transport from one place to another within five metres.
Dagger is pulled back out of the attack zone of Star Breaker.
Cloak targets Cherry's arms with Five Sided Fortification: -Five Sided Fortification: Slashes with the Jatetsufūjin-maru five times, generating five deadly vacuums of force that explode outwards upon contact capable of rendering a single enemy to pieces with great prejudice or being flung at up to five opponents. Cooldown two turns.
Zaku departs the thread to scout

The lightning missed again. Barely. Eva's cloak was enough to shield her precise location, but, the sudden crack of energy coursing above and cratering the ground below was still not for nought. Eva re-emerged, slowly and partially at first, an amber glow with an unsteady flicker gradually revealing her form like light filtering down to the bottom of a clear pond. This, at least for the time being mattered not for cyborg though, as she had already gotten into position.
She thrust her rifle barrel hard into the Dark Cherubimon's control mark, the same snarl back on her features as she squeezed the trigger, dumping her entire magazine into it as she felt the weapon kick and buck back into her shoulder, the acrid, sharp odour of the burning caseless propellant blocks stinging her nose.
She was unsure if this would even have any effect of course, digimon seemingly much more powerful than her had hit this mark several times over. Perhaps it would be enough to tip the balance? One could only hope after all.
Attack used: KKSBR. Eva just emptied her magazine and will need to reload before using it again.

"Oh?"
That felt sudden. In one moment, the Durandamon was caught in the crushing grip of the Cherubimon, and in the next, the dark angel's hands closed around seemingly nothing. He honestly seemed lost about what had just transpired. Durandamon wasn't a spellcaster or a fox, after all, so how could he so easily escape? It presented an immediate problem, of course, as the Tactimon's blade sank deep into the angel's arms.
He winced heavily in pain - pulling that marked arm back - but it was not enough to cleanly sever through, not yet. And with Cloak in range, it seemed that both he and the Cherubimon had a similar idea: abuse the close-range. Whereas Cloak prepared outward explosives, the angel did the opposite, raising his right hand towards the Tactimon, a pit of black energy built up inside the palm.
"Vanish... now..."
Between Cloak and the angel, a large force of suction took hold - threatening to draw the fighter right in front of him into that viciously sparking black pit. His grin was confident, even in the face of this...
... But then came those bullets, slamming right into that lowered left arm. Though they were from an ultimate, the Cherubimon did not expect, brace against, or block the attack - a sudden look of pain crossing his eyes, the suction of the attack faltering for a second. It was enough to have one section strike heavily against his chest, but the angel maintained.
Though where there was previously a playful look, now the Cherubimon's visage was nothing but rage.
Unfortunately for Eva, however, her position as a sniper would not go fully unheeded. Though she had the ability to hide, she was also in the woods of the enemy - and as soon as she became visible, she would hear the sound of bee-like wings buzzing directly from behind.
Just a few seconds after she'd take the shot, the perpetrator would make itself visible - a Snimon (X) would lurch out of its jungle cover, a few yards from her back and to her left, with a strong swipe of its blade - intent on slicing this fox in half!
Petrification ends due to healing.
Heaven's Judgement Cooldown: 1/3 Dark Harvest Cooldown: 2/3 Cherubimon uses 'Black Hand'.
Snimon has been alerted to the Sniper in its range, and uses Deathly Sickle to attempt to cut Eva down.

"Hime I could use a little support here~" Cloak rumbled out voice gruff and strained as he stabbed his sword into the ground gripping it for dear life to keep himself from sliding into the dark maw of Cherry's ability. "Oh no you don't!" Cas snapped out with a low grow sliding the Meteo orbit card as three meteors came into existence hovering around Cloak, the Tactimon sending one crashing into the black churning portal in lieu of himself. The ability flickering as the Mega moved to leap away the cannons on his back clicking into place with a low whine of power before the samurai fired two short blasts the strikes aimed at the Cherubimon vice's legs to try to knock the dark rabbit off it's feet and soften it up before they could properly take it out. "Jegan slow him down. We can't have him using that lightning on us again so soon. I'll keep Dagger stable." The Doctor ordered kneeling to carefully triage her injured and writhing partner though the petrification seemed to have ceased with the Biomon's help. "On it Doctor." The Medical bot intoned leveling his arms at the Lopmon before firing a barrage of syringes at the Cherubimon Vice.
Cas Uses The Card Meteo Orbit AP-32
Card Name: Meteo Orbit
Type: Modify
Rank: Platinum
Duration: 3 Posts
A trio of meteor-like satellites begin to orbit the target Digimon, each surrounding them from an equidistant point. Each satellite can either crash into an enemy target for large damage or crash into a single attack in order to absorb the damage.
Cloak crashes one of the Meteors into Cherubimon Vice's Black hand and pulls back. Cloak uses God Felling Blast (Short burst) -God Felling Blast: Aims the gun-muzzles on it's back at it's opponent targeting them before firing two piercing blasts that deal massive damage and explode eviscerating everything within a fifty meter radius or may be combined into a single massive prolonged blast that does increased damage the closer the opponent is to Tactimon. With the damage increasing five percent for every one-hundred meters within a kilometer distance the opponent is to the Digimon with Tactimon beginning to take collateral damage from the blast should his opponent be within five-hundred meters or less. Point blank ensuring mutual destruction of both digimon. Cooldown two turns.
Jegan uses Lingering Poison -Lingering Poison: Biomon fires a rain of syringes at his target. The syringes themselves do no damage, but the poison they contain extends the cooldown of every move the target uses by two posts for the thread or until twelve hours pass whichever comes first. Cooldown five posts
Jegans Passive Zone of Healing kicks in Healing Dagger by 10% -Zone of Healing: All allies within fifty feet of Biomon recover ten percent health every turn they are not actively engaged in combat. (Passive)

Eva stepped back, pausing for just a second. Did her weapon do nothing? She just dumped twenty rounds of 6.5 caseless into that creature, and it hardly even flinched! She was feeling like nothing but a small pest in a titanic battle at this point as she attempted to withdraw, her hand reaching to pull free the expended magazine when, she heard it. The screech of metal upon metal, the whirring of motors as the great barrels re-adjusted, depressing down to the ground.
"...Uh oh..."
She tried to book it on out of there, as fast as her legs could carry her. She was a Renamon sure, fast to begin with and with cybernetic legs which were whirring away under her but the ground was rough, uneven. The shockwave hit soon after, feeling like she had been slammed in the back by a giant unseen fist as she fell forwards onto the hardened earthen forest floor, its previous petrification making it a far harsher landing than it would have otherwise been.
She lay there for a moment, stunned. Her body refusing to respond as her head pounded and her ears rang so loud and sharp it made the din of the colossal struggle no more than seventy meters away seem oh so distant by comparison. Fortunately, she snapped to, her mind sharpening and senses returning in time to defend herself again from, well, she wasn't entirely sure. It resembled an insect. Big. Green, with talons like swords.
Her rifle had dropped from her grasp when she fell, sitting in the dirt beyond her reach. Not that it would have been much help anyway, it was empty, its magazine removed. Instead, she deployed her own blades. They were black, rectangular, shooting out of concealed ports on the top part of both wrists with a solid "shink" of metal upon metal. Still though, it was not fast enough, the first of the Snimon's talons tearing at Eva's armour, rending through the crude human imitation of digizoid metal plate, even piercing her body slightly, puncturing even her graphene backed skin behind it.
The wound though, was not serious. Though her armour was compromised, it had likely saved her life, for as brief as that would be before the insectoid creature struck again. Eva tried desperately to avoid that, rolling to the side as another large claw thudded into the dirt mere centimetres from her head. She kicked upwards, aimed at the digimon's midsection, trying to buy just a sliver more time before returning the favour, directing a thrust attempting to punch through a gap in its chitinous hide under its chin and hopefully, through its skull.
Weapon reload interrupted. Eva will still have to spend a post reloading in the future.
Attack used: Reaper Nanoblades. No cooldown, but, can potentially break.
