'Do nothing'? Oh no, Eva's weapon had definitely done something: it had thrown the Cherubimon far off-balance, making his own 'Black Hand' delayed enough for Cassandra to deploy a counter. And, that was probably for the best: as one of those boulders approached that black singularity, it would seemingly shrink, and come out as nothing but dust on the other end.
Forget the lightning - whatever that was, the opposition probably never wanted to see it again!
However, because the angel had been thrown off-balance, he was a prime target for Cloak's own 'God Felling Blast'. Aptly named in this case, the strike would hit heavily against the monster's legs, the Cherubimon's eyes widening as it cried out in pain. In effect, his legs were blown out from underneath him, the monster both moving backward and falling heavily onto his stomach. Jegan's own poison darts do manage to sink into his shoulder - though considering the size of the target, it was unclear how effective it was quite yet.
The Cherubimon, after all, still kept its scowl, glaring in the dark knight's direction, a deep red aura pulsing from around the Cherubimon's mark.
"You... hurt..."
He slowly dragged up onto his knees, the leathery purple skin soon replaced with a smooth red sheen - extending past the arm, starting to envelop his entire frame. As it would cross his face, he'd give one more grin, before it would be hidden behind the veil.
"You... hurt..." Eva, meanwhile, would be having her own adventure right now. Separated from her rifle, she was brought blade-to-blade with her sudden assailant - and heck, the Snimon already managed to draw blood against his smaller adversary.
Was it another controlled Digimon, or just a hunter out for blood? His own blades largely clashed with Eva's own at first, but the insect would be quick to follow as she tried to roll away. A thick slice would carve a nice divot into the warm mud of the forest, the insect hissing as he... kept his distance? It seemed to recognize the threat, batting away the straight stab with the outside of the carapace on one of its arms, the bug somewhat further away than what Eva predicted. The blade crossed right into the chitin, dealing a heavy 'crack' to the armor - so it did not press in close right away.
In fact, it took to mid-range, and slashed its blades in a cross-pattern, seemingly in mid-air.
The yellow-shaped cross of energy that flew in Eva's direction, though, quickly made it apparent that it wasn't an error!
Snimon uses Shadow Sickle. Cherubimon calls forth 'Red Mode'.

"Fuck." Cassandra and Cloak muttered out at the same time as the Doctor looked up from where she was treating some of Daggers wounds to stare wide eyed at the gradually becoming red coated Cherubimon while the Tactimon stood there stunned gun barrels still smoking.
"Right Dagger time to get the heck up your brother needs you." Cas spoke sharply as she snapped out of her momentary surprise sliding the Nano Serum card as she motioned for Jegan to inject the serum into the Durandamon. The digimon's wounds closing leaving the golden digimon looking the worse for wear, but able to fight leaving the Doctor half shoving her partner to his feet and towards his twin.
"I don't know what Cherry is doing, but we're not waiting to find out." The Doctor ordered as Dagger sent her a mock salute before lunging towards Cloak.
"On it Cas." The Durandamon called out shifting mid leap in a flash of light as Cloak reached out to snag the hilt of the gleaming longsword that had replaced him. Testing the weight of both blades the Tactimon lunged forward.
"I apologize Cherry~" Cloak intoned solemnly aura blazing with power as he channeled the force down into the Twenty Blade as well as Jatetsufūjin-maru the two swords erupting with light.
"But it seems we're going to have to amputate. TWENTY SLICE!" The Dark Samurai roared out bringing the full brunt of his power and the purity of the blades to bare as he brought the edge down towards that marked hand with battle cry.
Cas Uses The Card Nano Serum to heal Dagger AP-29 Card Name: Nano Serum Type: Modify Rank: Gold Duration: 3 Posts (Expires when used) The target Digimon produces a serum of helpful nanomachines, allowing it to medicate a Digimon within melee range. The serum heals surface level wounds and gives the target a powerful kick of adrenaline. If not used before the card's 3 post duration expires, it vanishes into the ether.
Dagger Uses Twenty Sword - Twenty Sword: Transforms itself into a sword increasing the attack power of any weapon using digimon that wields it by one-hundred percent and allowing them to use of all Durandamon's abilities and passives at the cost of Durandamon being unable to engage in combat while in sword form.
Cloak Uses Twenty Slice - Twenty Slice: Focuses its fighting spirit into the blades on both arms and slices the enemy with them cutting them with glowing blades which burn away at corrupted data. Cooldown two turns
Dagger's passives applied to Cloak - Pierce The Heavens: One of the Legend-Arms said to be able to pierce the heavens themselves. It's swords are designed to slice through any substance like paper. As such shields and defensive abilities used to block Durandamon's strikes function as one level lower in terms of stopping it's attacks. Cooldown of one post between activations. (Passive) - Air Walk: While unable to fly Durandamon may treat air as a solid surface allowing him to change direction mid-leap so long as he continues moving. (Passive)

The Cyborg flipped back up to her feet, blades still extended as the creature opted to extend the range. She made a few false pushes, a few feints, a few ducks and weaves as she tried to work her way around and back to her rifle. She hoped this would keep the mantis like creature on the defensive and unable to attack, but, seemingly to no avail. The Snimon's mid air slashes confused the cyborg at first. Was it an intimidation tactic? Trying to psyche her out? That notion was soon ripped away, a shockfront from its natural weaponry tearing into Eva's armour. It again turned most of the blow, but, this time the plate shattered, taking the brunt of the energy as she staggered back, quickly regaining her footing.
She quickly reached to her belt, unhooking a grenade and pulling the pin with her teeth. She paused for just a moment, keeping her left arm outstretched both to help with the throw and ready to parry should it come closer as she tried to keep a safe distance from it herself. She had to get this right, her HUD flashing up targeting information before her eyes. Weight of the grenade, time to detonation, even wind direction flickering across her reticule as she let it fly, primed to detonate roughly while it was still in the air on top of the insectoid monstrosity.
A successful hit or not, it was still a distraction. A distraction she desperately needed as she made a rush to grab her rifle and scoop it up in her hands, preparing to finally reload as she reached for a fresh magazine.
Attack used: Frag Grenade. Heavy damage radius, five meters. Moderate damage radius: 15 meters. Three uses per thread.
Eva still has to reload on the next post.

"You hurt.... you hurt..."
It did not take long for the newly awakened Cherubimon to raise from his fallen state, his feet soon brought beneath him as he stood tall, his now expressionless face staring down at both the Tactimon and Durandamon. The latter had become a blade for the former, the two coming at full force to try and stop the angel. But their attacks were still focused on that hand. They were, perhaps, trying to save the Cherubimon, but such a flippant move was all too easy to predict, the Cherubimon only having to pull his arm back to avoid that downward swing.
Which, of course, would leave him right in front of the dark angel.
"You hurt... you hurt... Youhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurtyouhurt...
Y̵̺̓ő̶͎̥ụ̷́̈ ̸̺̕h̵̗̯̔̕ù̴̻r̶͎͎̆t̷̫̝̏.̶̱̠͑.̶̣̤̋̽.̵̠̺̋͆..."
The marked hand gained a fierce, bright glow, crimson electricity dancing right off of his hand - and, in his other palm, a stark red ball of formless energy appeared, once more intent on drawing in his two adversaries. As for how he'd keep them from grounding themselves?
That 'marked' hand let out a sharp discharge, aimed in the twins' general direction! Eva, meanwhile, was caught in a fight for her life against a skilled hunter of the woods, enough to even break through the front plate of his rather capable opponent. He gave a hiss, almost like a chuckle, but quickly regained his stance as the fox managed to stay up on her feet.
Had the Snimon not pressed hard enough? The insect continued to pursue, effectively hunting his mark as it sprinted forth to try and cut the distance. The grenade lobbed above was, honestly, something the insect didn't expect. He was a forest denizen, after all - such a complex weapon was beyond him! He ducked down, only for the battle-hardened insect to be hit with heavy shrapnel, forced down into a front somersault before tumbling messily into the earth.
... But he stood. His carapace was heavily damaged, and his back heavily in phase, but his attention was cleanly on the Renamon. Now he was in too deep.
Now he needed Eva's data, to stabilize himself. After he would regain his footing, he'd once more push himself fiercely in the fox's direction, intent on slashing right through her midsection!
Snimon attacks Desperately!
Cherubimon: Red Mode: 1/3 Red Mode is an ultimate, allowing two techniques per post. Dark Harvest Cooldown: 4/5 Heaven's Judgement Cooldown: 3/5 Cherubimon uses 'Red Hand' and 'Lightning Lance'.

"Why won't you stay down!" Cloak roared digging the two swords into the earth to stop his forward slide for the second time as the Tactimon sent the remaining two meteors rocketing forward one catching the lightning bolt before it could strike him and the second one hurtling into that whirling pit of darkness for a second time.
"We don't want to hurt you Cherry, but you are giving us no choice!" The Mega growled out his chest glowing with brilliant light as he sent a searing beam of energy hurtling towards the Cheruibimon Vice the Light Lance aimed to tear through the controlled digimon's defenses.
"There has to be a better way to remove the~" Cas trailed off her eyes alighting upon the mark on Cherubimon Vice's hand.
"Jegan," The Doctor spoke voice a low whisper.
"Yes Doctor?" The Biomon quipped tilting it's metallic head towards her.
"When I say go I want you to aim your clean slate ability right at the mark on Cherubimon Vice's hand while Cloak and Dagger keep them busy." Cas ordered in a low voice lest their enemy overhear her plan. Perhaps it would work. Perhaps it would not. There was only one way to find out. Try.
Cloak uses the last two meteors to block Lightning Lance and Black Hand. Cloak Uses Light Lance - Light Lance: Fires a piercing beam of energy from it's chest tearing through it's enemies defenses to do massive damage and marking the enemy with a burning twenty which harms the enemy searing away at their form with prolonged damage for three turns. Cooldown three turns.
Passives: - Pierce The Heavens: One of the Legend-Arms said to be able to pierce the heavens themselves. It's swords are designed to slice through any substance like paper. Eva slapped in a new magazine, readying her weapon, but, before she could shoulder it once more the Snimon was back on her. She moved to parry, holding the rifle in her left while moving her right hand to block, blade still deployed. She wasn't quite quick enough though, distracted by the reload she came in at the wrong angle, the insect's own blades striking hers in a bad spot and ripping them free from their titanium mountings, shearing off a large chunk of her arm's carbon fibre plating with it, revealing the precision crafted mechanics underneath.
The cyborg snarled again, a curse under her breath as she aimed a strike with the rifle's stock at the Snimon's face to once again attempt to clear the distance so she could swing forwards and shoulder the weapon to get off a clean shot, the casing falling away with a click and a clatter of carbon fibre and metal as they fell down to the forest floor.
Right reaper nanoblade: Completely destroyed. No regenerating the blade when the whole mounting has been torn out.
Eva has now reloaded her weapon and will be able to fire next post.

D̴̲̋͊͝͠a̴͓͗̒͑͝g̶̻̒̔̕̚g̷̨̳̼̪̅e̷͖̤̬͆͝͝r̶͎̄͗.̵̼͔̗̀.̵̨̨̻̮͊́.̶͕͎͌̆...
The drawling, chuckling voice of the Cherubimon once more rolled over the battlefield, his onslaught of this swordsman only just beginning. Once more, the meteor stifled the vortex - and the last meteor was thrown, blocking that surge of electricity - but they were only dealing with mere symptoms of the issue. As powerful as Cloak and Dagger were, combined, the methods of which they were fighting were safe and noncommittal. So long as they fought to 'save' and the angel fought to 'kill', this was going to be an uphill battle.
One whose flow would shift, depending on the patience of either of the twins.
That powerful lance would pierce right towards the center of the Cherubimon, the beast gritting his teeth as he slid backwards - but he largely kept up his approach, intent on looming directly over the swordsman. This time, the Cherubimon was not going to leave so much up to chance, that powerful electricity now flowing heavily through both of his palms.
He'd fire that first one out in a surge, directly at Cloak's position. The second? Well, should Cloak try and dodge, he'd fire a blast, timed to land right where he'd land - or, if there was enough airtime, to simply snipe him right out of the air! "HSS!"
It seemed that Eva wasn't readily equipped for such a direct assailant! The Snimon tore through even more of that carbon-based armor, and by all accounts, he felt that he was slowly cornering this hapless fox, the insect doing his darnedest to keep right up against the fox. The rifle was reloaded, but despite that, the beast itself was intent on slamming right into the Renamon.
It, after all, did not understand what such a complex weapon could really do. With the butt of the gun slamming against his head, the insect staggered - but after slipping back about a foot, it would press on, this time just intent on slamming his full body weight against the collar of his opponent, in attempt to simply push her onto the ground.
And should he manage that, he'd attempt to pin her under a heavily armored foot.

"We have no plans to leave you Cherry. Dagger would tell you that." Cloak swore roaring out as he lifted one arm lightning ripping through his armor as the Tactimon snarled gritting his teeth choosing to take the hit in lieu of retreating. No instead as the Tactimon was encased in golden light he didn't dodge away from Cherry, but towards the Cherubimon Vice appearing behind the Mega leveled rabbit as Cassandra slid another desperate card Jatetsufūjin-maru morphing briefly into a mallet as Cloak made to slam it right into Cherry's vulnerable back. Hopefully stunning and freezing the Digimon for a moment giving his Tamer a chance to act and barring that. Giving the Tactimon a chance to cleanly take the Digimon's arm off.
"Now!" Cas ordered as Biomon fired a beam of purified healing blue light right at Cherubimon's hand and arm.
Cloak uses - Ride The Light: Durandamon teleports himself and anyone he is currently holding in a flash of light within line of sight. Likewise he may choose to target and teleport a willing ally instead of himself. Cooldown two turns.

The cyborg braced herself, unflinchingly staring down the Snimon as it charged into her. Inside her legs bundles upon bundles of artificial electroreactive fibre, a simulacrum of their human muscle counterpart locked solid, whirring, grinding as Eva's cold mechanical camera like eyes locked with the insect's for just a moment, a stray glimmer of sunlight filtering and dancing down upon the forest floor catching the lens with a subtle purple green glint from the anti glare coating.
The charge was not for nought mind, after pushing her back a fair ways, leaving a furrow in the earth underneath the fox from her boots as she desperately fought to find traction, her legs were weakening. Second by second they lost more and more of their strength, their resistance failing as wisps of white-grey acrid smoke from her own smouldering musculature stung Eva's nose, her HUD flashing up warning after warning. She had to end this wrestling match. She had to end it fast.
The Renamon tried to bring up her rifle. Aiming the barrel directly underneath the Snimon's chin she, squeezed the trigger down yet again. Not a full magazine like before when she fired point blank into the Dark Cherubimon's control mark, but, a short controlled burst to maintain control of the weapon at this rather awkward angle.

W̶̘̚̕͜ḧ̸̯̤̙̊͗e̶̗̰͗́̕ȑ̷͉̑͝ę̸̟́͘.̴̨̰̐.̸̖̫̦͛͝,̶̡̐̈?̶̢̋̍͘
The Cheribimon's garbled message hung confused in the air. In one moment, Cloak was struck heavily by that lightning blast - but in the second, he was gone. For the briefest moment, it seemed that the only familiar one still standing there was the doctor... but then he felt it.
A sharp blow, right between his shoulder-blades, enough to make the monster stagger. Had he just been a Cherubimon - had he not taken this ascended form - that would have been more than enough to floor the monster. But as it was not a blade, as Cloak continued to play defensively, the angel slowly turned his head to face the Tactimon...
... Only to have that healing light strike right at the back of his exposed arm! He gave a confused growl, but the healing had some effect - the hand itself writhing slightly, the veil of the D-Reaper peeling back to reveal that desperate, pulsing mark. The target was made clear, yes, but the guess was off: why would the mark be considered 'damage' in the first place? Instead, his full attention was on Cloak. Though the Clockmon card's efforts did slow him down, Cassandra might be cursing that silver border, as the beast managed to direct his palms backwards, both palms facing the Tactimon: a red core created in his right hand, and a normal, black one in his left, both intent on drawing that swordsman in...
... As tears began to stream down the Cherubimon's face. Fortunately, it wouldn't be long until Cassandra once more received her unseen teammate. Though the Snimon had done surprisingly well simply barreling forth as a feral monster, his lack of knowledge of the Renamon's weapons cost him at the end. That tackle was met right with a pointed metal stick, and with one pull, the Snimon's head was rattled. Rattled, and shattered, the armored carapace falling into the grass below, as the beast took several staggering steps backward, before collapsing into a pathetic pile of data.
Though battered, Eva was fine - it was a mere Champion that tried to take her, after all. But had the situation gone too far to salvage?
Snimon has fallen!
Cherubimon uses 'Red Hand' and Black Hand'. Red Mode Duration: 3/3 Heaven's Judgement is ready.

"I'm Sorry." Cloak spoke as he drove the golden twenty sword into the ground that was his twin driving it in deep into the earth lest he get dragging into the swirling vortex's of death that was drawing the Mega level closer inch by inch. "I'm so sorry." The Tactimon murmured gold eyes raising not to look upon Cherry who loomed over him slowly bringing those hands full of death closer and closer. No escape this time. He couldn't fight safe and win. One of them would end up taking critical damage...and it had to be him. The Lopmon the Cherubimon Vice would become would be unable to survive the extent of the blows he could deal out and live.
Holding his Tamer's wide blue gaze her face nearly white as a sheet as she scrambled through her deck seeming to realize his plan as she screamed sliding yet another of those slim cards through her card reader as he felt warm golden light fill his form. He couldn't hear her though. Couldn't hear her screaming. Couldn't hear her cries of denial or his name only see the shape of it forming upon her lips. "I love you." He whispered. The roar of the vortexes filling his ears as the Tactimon took Jatetsufūjin-maru in both hands and with a battle cry held the sword aloft even as he felt his armor being ripped to shreds cracking and tearing the his very being asunder. Too close to survive. Too close to dodge....Too close to miss.
Vision darkening Cloak brought the sword down blade gleaming and charged with everything he had as he aimed to slice Cherry's left arm and the world itself in twain.

In the next post it will return to this state, undoing any damage or healing, buffs and debuffs, status effects, and Digivolutions or degenerations that it has experienced. In essence, it is as if the last set of posts has not affected it.
Cloak Uses Star Splitter on Cherry's Left arm -Star Splitter: Tactimon unchains Jatetsufūjin-maru drawing the sword from it's sheath to wield its full sinister might as power that warps and damages the fabric of the digital world itself coalesces around the blade. Lashing out at his opponent with the sword Jatetsufūjin-maru ignores all shields and mirror abilities piercing straight through them like butter as the blade deletes and destroys the data of anything it touches doing massive damage in the process. Eva paused, ducking behind another boulder and cursing under her breath as she tried to get it back. She reached out, grabbing the piece of her arm that was wrenched and torn out of its very mountings, weapon included. She did her best to click it back into place, pushing the blade back into its normal locked back position with the flat palm of her hand. Though she wasn't getting any signal back from the damaged piece of equipment, it was at least in no danger of being left behind or even falling off again, not to mention that with the carbon fibre "skin" back in place, it provided some level of protection for the arm's internal structure and musculature.
Her attention soon turned back to the titanic fight. She crouched behind cover again, steadying her rifle while doing her best to ignore the dull throbbing pain in her legs and the blinking of warning indicators. She wasn't even sure what she was looking at, or, even what she was supposed to shoot at this point. All was a blur of flashy light, swords, and giants striding across the battlefield smacking ten bells out of eachother.
Disconnecting the mark from the Dark Cherubimon's body seemed to be a priority. Just hitting it alone did not seem to be enough, especially after both she, and her as yet unknown allies had done that in abundance. She steadied her aim, holding her breath as she squeezed down the trigger, timing each pull with her heartbeat as she aimed to make that sword's job just a little easier, perforating the creature's arm before the edge.

Cloak might want to put a rain-check on his plan for a heroic sacrifice.
Eva, having fended off her attacker, now had her attention right back on the battle - and it seemed that as soon as she had a shot, she took whatever aim she could - and aimed for the Cherubimon's arm, instead of for the mark. With the angel largely focused on the target behind his back, and 'stopped in time' as the Cherubimon was, this practically guaranteed Eva's success.
The moment that bullet slammed into the arm, as Cloak approached, that 'Black Hand' would sputter out, leaving a clean shot for the Tactimon to slice right through that arm! The Cherubimon's expression turned to one of sharp pain, the red veil around its body quickly evaporating to reveal the Cherubimon Vice underneath. He grit his teeth, eyes tightly on Cassandra, muttering just under his breath.
"Must find the statue... or they'll hurt Sorcermon... must find the statue... or they'll hurt Sorcermon..."
Even without the mark, it seemed that this angel wouldn't be so compliant. A tight, white light surrounded the large beast, his form quickly growing smaller as he shifted down to his ultimate form.
Antylamon. And he had no intention to simply stick around - if given the chance, he'd try and make his way straight off into the woods.
This was something he had to complete! Otherwise...

"Stop!" The Tactimon roared out staggering a little as she stabbed the ground with Jatetsufūjin-maru twice the spirits of dead warriors rising from the ground to grasp at Cherry's legs preventing the now Antylamon from fleeing as the Tactimon was left to lean heavily on his sword.
"Cherry wait!" Dagger called out shifting in a blinding flash of light back to his normal form as she lunges forward to wrap his arms about the distressed rabbit digimon. "They don't have Sorcermon. They left him to die, but he's safe Cherry." The Durandamon murmured squeezing the Antylamon tight as he attempted to comfort his upset friend.
"He's safe Cherry. Cas saved him. You don't have to keep searching anymore." Dagger whispered soft and low. "You're safe."
"Don't do that ever again." The Doctor scolded her face tight with stress and fear as she left Dagger to comfort his friend. The Woman instead rushing up to throw her arms around Cloak burying her face against the Tactimon's scarred and burnt chestplate. Only pulling back long enough to activate her Clinic Program. Both the Tactimon and Durandamon's shoulders relaxing as their pain began to ease.
Cloak Used Army of the Damned to restrict Cherry's movement. -Army of The Damned: Stabs the ground twice with Jatetsufūjin-maru, awakening one hundred dead warriors which lash out grabbing onto up to three enemies with their spectral limbs and dragging them to the earth. Pulling down even airborn opponents as it restrains the enemies movement for one turn. This does not however stop the opponent from attacking or defending, but simply roots them in place. Eva checked her surroundings. Shrubland, bushes, trees, for all the damage from such a fearsome exchange the forest still very much looked like a forest. Left? Clear. Right? Clear. No sign of additional threats from either flank, the enhanced Renamon flicking through her multiple vision modes trying to see if something else was going to sneak up on them. All was quiet, all was still save for a subtle, light breeze rustling the foliage and kicking up a few leaves here and there.
She was left trying to figure out what the heck just happened. It came on so damn sudden, one moment just jogging along a forest path and the next caught up in a desperate firefight fending off a crazed lunatic of a bug. She walked up to the others, swapping out her magazine as she did so, her left leg making a slight grinding noise from the damaged musculature and joints. The Renamon kept her rifle lowered, held in both hands and pointed towards the ground as she spoke up.
"Would anyone mind explaining what the bloody hell just happened?
Eva has reloaded her rifle and is now back up to three attacks.
