"C'mon, move, move!"
"Just drop it and move!"
"Danny! Danny, where are you!"
The sudden chaos brought by these beasts came from out of nowhere, for this section of the forest. Hidden deep under the canopy of Server Woods lied quite a prosperous honey farm, populated by both insect and machine types working in tandem to both preserve the prosperous, natural hives and deliver their product out to Rosewood.
Or, at least that's what it was: a few mere seconds of mini-gun fire was all it took to tear the trees to shreds, leaving light peering through the canopy as the mechanical beast tore his way through:
The Machinedramon, at the very least, cared little for the machines, plants, and insects that made their escape - though given the amount of red data scattered into the air, it was clear that this machine wasn't avoiding them, either.
Worse, of course, was those left in the path: trapped underneath a fallen log, a Palmon desperately tried to claw its way out, the Machinedramon briefly scanning the field, before stomping its way forward.
It hadn't found what it wanted, not here...
... Time to move onto the next.

Like a golden shooting star tearing through the cosmos, the unleashed form of Cion rapidly descended to face the ironclad fiend had ravaged the Eastern Timberlands. Similar to a mortar shell, she impacted with the grassy ground beneath, dispersing particles of dry dust and Autumn leaves in all directions. With the obvious intention of attaining its complete attention, the incandescent fennec glared at it with the violent sway of a thousand suns ready to erupt. The utter destruction... the crimson data... she comprehended what the thing in front of her was.
Thankfully, she had encountered Mikemon during her raid against drug dealers, who, thanks to his expertise, had managed to relieve her of most of the red demon's infection. It had been an arduous, painful process, which people that understood her knew was a sacrifice the Arniomon was willing to make for the sake of this world and its inhabitants. Whatever strain was necessary to vanquish the D-Reaper and its enslaved armies, she was accepting its burden.
Her gaze briefly fell on the trapped Palmon - an unfortunate predicament. Certainly if she attempted to help the sentient plant then the Machinedramon would seize the opportunity and assault both of them. But she could not abandon the innocent Rookie either. Frowning, she took quick yet gracile steps around the hulking machine, hoping to claim its full focus. By golly was it massive compared to her tiny, slender frame. Not even her relatively vast pelt and tail of aureate stars made her look any bigger in the shadow of this titan of metal and wires.
"So, villain. No grand speeches concerning the futility of my resistance?" She asked teasingly, bestowing upon her adversary a cocky grin. In truth, nothing of this encounter gave reason to smile. So close to Rosewood... and her own dreams. No; this menace had to end today - right here and no step further.

An unexpected development in what had been intended to be a short, easy job meant to give them some quick cash to continue their investigations. A few weeks back, Fladramon had reported on what had gone down in the Western side of the Continent, filling them in before arranging to meet up with them in the relatively recent construction project, Rosewood. Sagittarimon and Owlmon had taken on a few easy jobs as escorts and patrolmon, intended mostly to drive away the likes of brigands or savage malcontents seeking to stop progress. When taking into account the average level of digimon in the area, it appeared to be easy money for mercenaries of their level. Sadly, this kind of trouble also fell within the responsibilities of their contract. Things could never just be easy and straightforward for hard working mercs, could they? There was plenty to choose from as far as prey was concerned- lots of things running around the place and causing mayhem. Owlmon would have preferred to go for numbers and simply start offing the small fry first- but Sagittarimon had always been one to aim for the big game. Which brought them to their current situation. They stood at about 4.7 kilometers from the site of the action. The loud noise of explosions and minigun fire had attracted their attention, and the destruction left in the titanic digimon's wake had informed them on the possible danger it posed. Owlmon stood perched on the branch of a tree, wings at his sides motionless as the visor over his eyes seemed to move and contract. The owl hummed as he took in the situation as it were, his visor scanning the large target, the unknown, powerful element near it, and the civilian caught in the debris left in the Machinedramon's wake. On the other side of the same tree, finding her footing on the relatively thick branch, a large, centaur-like digimon took a moment to make sure the tree could support her before speaking. "Link us and Report." She ordered. She got a familiar feeling in the back of her head as a response. Slowly, she closed her eyes, negating her own sight as Owlmon's gaze was layered over her own. ' Link successfully established. Reporting: Target spotted. A powerful, unknown element has engaged the target. And a single civilian is trapped under debris, boss!' Reported the Owl digimon, never once even blinking. ' Understood. Engage and distract the target. I'll begin preparations.' Ordered Sagittarimon as she reached behind herself, pooling her energy into her quiver. A faint aura surrounded it as Owlmon leaped away from his perch on the tree, beginning to advance silently towards the target. ' Gotcha. Moving to engage target, boss!' he announced quickly, before his eyes popped wide open, his brows furrowing heavily in deep concentration. ' 4th Dimensional Slip!' There was a strange, apparent shattering of space around the digimon before he suddenly disappeared entirely.

Intricate as their plan may have been, through four kilometers of dense forest forest, it would be intrinsically difficult to keep a constant track on the Machinedramon - especially if he kept stomping through the forest as he had up to this point. On the other hand, neither the bird nor the bowman had drawn the Machinedramon's attention.
No, the Arniomon did that much. She appeared in her similar glow of radiant light - and yet so calmly, so openly approached the machine. The taunt she gave almost seemed to echo off of the Machinedramon's helmet, as his attention was drawn right down to her position. No, there was no grand speech or words forthcoming - instead, this response was more programmed.
His fangs unhinged, as if to speak - but Cion was not graced by words, but rather, the revved up and rapidly spinning minigun placed within. And the bullets flew as soon as the shot was clear, aiming to rend apart the Arniomon in a hail of lead and deadly shrapnel, practically at point-blank range.
But hey.
She had his attention.
Machinedramon uses 'Primary Fire'!

Huh, what an unusual twist. It turned out that there was indeed no grand speech concerning the futility of her resistance. That was atypical for big fiends such as the Machinedramon in front of her, but it was a welcome change. Ultimately, words uttered by villains of his caliber were rather repetitive and draggy. World supremacy, ultimate power, hubris and similar dross - everyone knew what she referred to. Sophistication was not an evil digimon's demeanor, that was for certain. The D-Reaper and its enslaved minions were even less; husks of nihilistic naturalism that purposelessly destroyed and consumed everything in their path. Parasites to the very core. Fortunate to have attained the synthetic beast's attention, the pace of her steps turned into levitation increased as to give the Palmon the time and safety it required to escape alive. A little push with her force of will likely sufficed to get it out of its predicament. If not, then she simply had to protect the living plant. At the moment however, she had to defend herself. Preestimating the hail of bullets, she considered the attack a weak warm-up of what was to come, hence she did not waste precious resources shielding herself against it. At least not directly. Finally, she bestowed upon the crimson bane the might it had granted her involuntarily. Her right arm perpetually engulfed in azure elemental forces and binary code, a massive, ethereal aura in the shape of a wing enveloped it and the rest of her incandescent frame. "Star Dust Surge!" She bellowed vociferously as nearly two dozen down feathers, and a javelin, of primordial matter were released. Dashing violently towards her adversary's led rain, the Arniomon's intention was clear. Sweet payback for any damage she suffered. Though hoping that the downs blocked some of the machine's projectiles, it was better if most enwrapped him in a maelstrom of rapid, razor-sharp edges that imposed on him the sway of the cosmos' essence. Owlmon didn't bother to close the entirety of the distance. He didn't need to be close to his target to do some real damage to it, and in fact, preferred if he could maintain as much distance as was possible between them. Leave the front line to the front liners- like that most fascinating digimon taking center stage against the Machinedramon. It had been over a good 3 decades since the last time Owlmon had been forcefully recycled, and in that time, he could not once recall ever seeing the digimon across from him. Not to say he hadn't heard information on individuals that beared similarities- but certainly the first time he ever came face to face with the species. He had stopped himself at about a 100 meters away from the actual battle. Not a whole lot of space between himself and the target, far as his usual standards went, but under the effects of his skill, he was confident nothing would happen to him. The closer he remained to the target the better for later. ' Well, let's get the scan out of the way.' He thought to himself duly as his visor automatically began to focus on all three digimon present, his own gaze still focused on the large Machinedramon. ' Okay, big boy. Let's see what you've got first...'
With his scanner, it was all just a matter of time before he had all the info he needed on his enemies.

This was a rare sight to the Machinedramon.
Instead of trying to distance themselves from the fire of his minigun, or at the very least give an attempt to strafe, Cion instead stood her ground practically at point-blank from the muzzle. It was true that, as a Super Mega, she'd be able to take this sort of punishment, but for how long?
Heck, she didn't even focus most of her attacks through the effective metal hail! The stark few feathers that contested were simply cut down in the storm, as the rest would pelt, pierce into, and rattle the much smaller Arniomon's frame. Of course, the Machinedramon wasn't necessarily a fast target himself, the spear landing dead-on at the Machinedramon's center, deep cuts given through the metal by the circling surge.
But the Machinedramon would not relent: with his opponent already battered by the arrows, he'd swing with his right arm, as if intending to punch - only for the claw to lurch forward on a hinge, intent on suddenly snapping the smaller Digimon into its grip! Owlmon and Sagittarimon, unfortunately, would find that their location wasn't entirely safe. After all, the enemy was viciously searching this forest to find something - surely they'd have their own eyes on the field.
And the Sagittarimon, in particular, was nothing more than a sitting duck sporting a massive power signal. With Owlmon focused on the Machinedramon, the centaur had already gained the attention of another 'raider' - one who would would attack with something far more simple. In fact, her approach brought her several yards behind, and the only hint of her action was a single silver strand - like a hair - in the Sagittarimon's field of vision.
An Arukenimon (X) had taken quite the interest in this - and with the sound of a heavy spool unraveling, would let forth its Spider Thread, intent on both ensnaring the centaur from behind in a net, puncturing him with razor-sharp wire...
... And, most importantly, severing that troublesome bowstring! But even if she was found out, surely the spider would have his attention by now!
Machinedramon is damaged by Star Dust Surge and 1 Ethereal Javelin! Machinedramon uses Crush Claw! An Arukenimon has noticed an outsider, and uses Spider Thread!

It was true that Cion had but valiantly stood her ground and accepted the punishment she received, but obviously, given who she truly was inside, that was not without intent. Of course the bullets were painful, but considering the differences in power not between her and the corrupted Machinedramon not agonizing. With her overall hightened constitution and dexterity, enduring such a hit was not unfeasible. Besides, any damage taken was soon to be mended thanks to the D-Reapers unlikely gift it had unwillingly bestowed on her. Smirking, the primordial, vulpine beast carefully observed the movement of the hulking machine's claw. Eventually, she grasped that its intention was to either squash, rake or grab her. Thankfully, that mattered not. "Natural Law Break!" She bellowed fiercely as space-time abruptly and violently distorted around the synthetic colossus. Primarily focusing its arms, through will alone she imposed an exponential increase in gravitational force upon it, coming from different directions as if her enemy was simultaneously crushed and torn apart from all conceivable angles. Expecting the grassy soil beneath it to crack, the unleashed Arniomon utilized this moment of disruption and rapidly dashed backwards and away from the Plantmon's original location. In the same instance, followed suit by a second ethereal javelin, the cosmic feathers finished their continuous assault and swiftly returned to their source. Fusing with the incandescent fennec, she felt previously lost vitality return to her system. Hopefully, that got the crimson parasite's vessel nervous. Probably not as they had a tendency to be mindless, but there was always reason to believe in a bit of fortune. The Owlmon had moved back and away to a more concealed position as the end of his 4th dimensional slip came, moving to stand within the shadows of among the tree branches so as to not attract attention from either target or unknowing ally. His infrared eye began to light up as he focused it onto one of the Machinedramon's legs, preparing himself to immobilize it so as to smooth out Sagittarimon's shot- But things just could never be that smooth and easy. An alert went off in the mindlink as a silver strand of some sort of fibre entered Sagittarimon's gaze. A sniper of exceedingly improbable prowess, the thread of hair was seen the instant it crossed her line of sight- her and Owlmon's decades as teammates and mercenaries did the rest. Owlmon's neck wheeled around in a 180 degree turn, his namesake more than simple appearances as the infrared eye of his eye fully lit into a bright red, the visor immediately catching and identifying the new, previously unseen target standing within a few feet distance behind the Sagittarimon. The centauress, from the complete standing position she had been in before, could do little more than adjust the position of her torso as she got the feedback from the link. It was never a good idea to stand directly in front of Owlmon's line of sight, after all. It was all rather immediate- Infrared Eye was nothing more than a laser. Almost instantaneous in a vacuum, and not far from it in the air. It sailed through the air in a straight line, barely missing Sagittarimon with her torso barely arched out of the way, nailing into the webbing and through it to attempt to drill into the target's face. Sagittarimon's eyes narrowed as she let her own arrow fly immediately after Owlmon's shot. In place of Owlmon's paralyzing the target's legs, the unknowing ally's gravitational manipulation of its arms was appreciated. The arrow did not shine, did not leave particle effects as it flew across the air, had no grand visuals to offer as it soared towards its target. It was pure Hope energy made manifest through her will. All massive, celebratory kabooms were reserved for when it actually nailed its target.

There was a definite disparity.
Perhaps the Machinedramon simply didn't see it first, but it was all too clear to him now: the Arniomon stood battered but not broken, the hail of bullets unable to decisively end the fight. Moreover, this diminutive creature's attacks were far too effective - the 'Star Dust Surge' raked heavily across his armor, and that Natural Law Break forced his arms straight downward, as that incomplete Judgement Arrow slammed right into his right shoulder. It pierced, but without the full time to build up, could not ultimately break his armor.
Not that it might have mattered, considering the pace of this fight. Cion danced with the metal beast in the palm of her hand, easily dragging his attention away from the plant type.
Right. This wasn't going to work - but with a large surge of data, the beast stood up, seemingly heedless of what should have been his distended gravity. Red grid lines were drawn straight across his body, as the machine's armor both shed several unnecessary tons of scrap - falling off into trash data - as the metal that remained behind took a stark, red tone.
With a roar to the sky, Cion would be met with an equal.
Chaosdramon. And with his targeting reticle set right on that small cat, the metal beast's shoulder plating opened up, revealing a prepared barrage of small missiles - each firing upward with an impressive whistle, before careening down, locked with the Arniomon's center of mass. But really, what was Owlmon's line of sight, if he could already turn his head an even 180 degrees?
It was of little matter: the Arukenimon's presence was enough to force the Sagittarimon to fire early, and a bit of face numbness from that laser wasn't going to throw off her ability to move!
"Heh - your friend not going to join us, horsey?" The Arukenimon chuckled, quickly striding forth with its several legs, intent on closing the distance on the centauress. If she got close - within a few feet - she'd allow her jaw to unhinge, and let forth a blast of powerful, green acidic poison!
Arukenimon uses Acid Mist. Machinedramon is damaged by Judgement Arrow and Star Dust Surge. In frustration, the Machinedramon evolves to Chaosdramon.
Chaosdramon uses 'Tracking Missile Barrage'. Chaosdramon gains passive, 'Defensive Grid'. Chaosdramon sheds the spears that were tied to its outer shell of armor. Thus, only the spear in one claw remains.

For a moment, nothing less than a confident smirk graced the god beast's muzzle as she beheld the effectiveness of her strategy damaging the fiendish, seemingly mindless Machinedramon. Certainly she did not relish the destroyed environment she found herself in, but anything to do with the D-Reaper she faced with unyielding panache. She did not know whence the powerful, golden arrow came that added insult to injury to her adversary, but it was appreciated. Perhaps a new ally she'd meet soon? Eventually, but now was not the time. As the incandescent, partially incorporeal fox decelerated from her previous dodge, she quickly noticed that something happened with the synthetic reptile she confronted. A crimson sheen, not unlike the color of the parasite, engulfed it in a state of feral rancor. Too rapid for her to react, she watched as the monster ascended into a higher form - probably its apex. To see such potential and might wasted on a savage slave; it truly was a pity. Alas, there was no helping it but to vanquish the rust-colored yet pristine virus? After all, she did not shy away from a match among equals. Though considering their difference in keen intellect... time would tell. Seeing the missile barrage the Chaosdramon launched, quick thinking was required by the unleashed Arniomon to not suffer devastating damage. She was not aware of the full extend of her opponent's abilities, but neither did she have any intention to risk anything. Snapping her fingers as another ethereal javelin got launched towards its prey, the rockets detonated around her, likely scattering surges of heat and dust into all directions. However, beneath the massive smother an iridescent gleam could ultimately be seen with Cion standing behind and beneath it, save and sound for this instance. Although only for a few seconds. Hopefully, her javelins sufficed to slowly yet steadily thwart the titanic virus. Regardless, she had to carefully yet swiftly evaluate her next steps. Possibly, to encounter her defense, the wild dragon finally did the same? Unlikely, but feasible. Maybe her unseen ally/allies were bound to join this clash as well. Question over question and no gasp to contemplate them. Battle Log: Passive: - Numen Aeternum: Reduced Physical Strength - Increased Maximum Health, Defenses and Pain Threshhold.

Her shot was ruined. The conspicuous lack of a digimon shattering kaboom wasn't entirely surprising, seeing how she had apparently been forced to shoot early, but it was none the less an incredibly infuriating moment. But certainly not enough to make her change targets. Specially when she had marked the big game. 'Stall the vermin, Owlmon.' Ordered the large centauress as she ignored the poisonous cloud being blown at her- one second she was at a stand still, the next she was already a good bunch of metres away from the spider, the space between them growing larger and larger. Her meteor Gallop made her a rather swift lady on her feet, and she wasn't about to stand still and deal with this insect when there was big game running about. Owlmon could entertain the intruding annoyance until the cavalry arrived. Knocking an arrow on her bow, the Centauress weaved through the trees, still kilometres away from the giant digimon. The Machinedramon had gone from a walking disaster to an outright calamity, though thankfully it appeared their mystery companion was up to the task. It was a pity her best shot had been wasted, but that was what she got for getting hasty instead of waiting for the entire team to be in place before deploying it. Support was all she could offer- but it was something she was rather experienced at. Machinedramon had been Marked for Death. The chances of her missing, or of that nice, shiny red armor of it doing much were very little. She let her arrow fly, the missile soaring through the forest and seeking to spear into the monstrous digimon's neck.
Owlmon hated when they were missing one of their members. Having to actually get involved in the fighting didn't really sit okay with the spy master- he preferred to hang back and let his companions get their hands dirty. But he supposed he would have to do while Fladramon was missing. Hopefully the salamander would arrive shortly. As the Centauress dissapeared into the forest, galloping at high speed in those legs of hers, the Owl still stood where he had shot his laser before pondering how exactly to handle this bug. With the strange mist 'round her, he didn't like his chances. Humming to himself, the Owl unfolded his wings and took to the air, soaring high above the forest before glaring down, his visor lighting up. Enough playing around. Time to Scope out skills.

Sagittarimon Relevant Passives Meteor Gallop
Sagittarimon's top galloping speed is such that she appears as little more than a blur to the naked eye, and she's fleet footed enough to achieve top speed in less than a second, allowing her to quickly move from one vantage point to the next before her target can even guess where she is. Basically, Sagittarimon is incredibly fast, even by the standards of Mega level digimon.
True Sniper Sagittarimon can nail a mosquito to a tree without killing it from a 5 kilometer distance, and in fact, her attacks are stronger the farther she's away from her opponent, receiving a 30% power boost to all shooting attacks realized from over 1km away from her target.
Marked for Death
Sagittarimon chooses a target; her attacks against this target gain a massive boost in accuracy and ignore passive forms of damage reduction. Once a target has been marked, she cannot mark another until it has been killed. In order to mark a target, she must hit it first.
Active ability Sniper's Shot
Sagittarimon's Bread and Butter. Reach into the quiver, produce arrow, shoot at target. Deals good damage and has the impressive range she's known for; a good choice for providing support to an ally engaged in melee.
Active Buffs: Owlmon +30% Accuracy [Precision Works]

"Ah... so you don't want to play, then?"
The Arukenimon, despite losing sight on her initial target,, seemed remarkably calm. With a slight arch of her back, the creature's body gave a faint glow, her form quickly receding in size to reveal a form that wouldn't look out of place in the real world.
"But I suppose I'll have to make do with what I have. Now let's see... what's the best way I can play here..."
She pretended to mull it over, as her forefinger spun around her hair, pulling out several strands that quickly took the shape of sharp needles. Instead of throwing them up towards an unseen target, however, each was then thrown out to sink into one of the several trees in the area, slowly sinking in just a few moments later. What, exactly, was she doing?
The trees didn't change much from their appearance - and unfortunately for Owlmon, his 'hits' were a bit off the mark to figure out exactly what it was:
Arukenimon: Spider Thread: A creation of sharp, spider-like webs, intent on cutting an opponent to ribbons. Can be used as a bind.
Chaosdramon: Destroyed Hook: A powerful missile, distributing a virus that devours the flesh of organic targets.
"Now, come out and play, wherever you are..." Cion's defense was well-founded, though her block likely made it unclear if these missiles had any homing capability at all. As the Arniomon was largely a static target, the repeated use of her ethereal javelins was starting to become obvious, the heavily armored claw of his left hand taking the full front of the blow.
Arniomon had just exhausted a powerful shield, after all: it was about time that the Chaosdramon use one of its more devastating blows. A heavy hinge un-clicked in its right hand, the claw's tri-pincers opening to reveal a particularly disgusting-looking missile, purple-and-plum in color. Without any further pretense, that missile launched froth, right on the Arniomon's position. Its initial detonation would be a powerful, short-range explosion, encompassing around ten meters...
... But what remained afterward was likely far more problematic. A faint, purple haze started to fill the air, and would start to waft over the entire clearing. Any remaining plant-life caught in this haze immediately started to rend into data, the powerful virus threatening to choke out anything it touched...
... Though that didn't save the Chaosdramon all of his trouble. The ultimate's arrow heavily collided with his neck, the Chaosdramon blinking as that arrow embedded itself into its metallic neck. It was strangely effective against his defenses - but for the moment, he couldn't afford to exactly worry himself over such a hit, as much as it made him grit his teeth.
It seemed that its defenses had improved dramatically with this new form.
Arukenimon takes 'human form'. Arukenimon uses Spirit Needle.
Machinedramon's left claw is hampered by an Ethereal Javelin. Machinedramon uses 'Destroyed Hook'. Machinedramon's 'Defensive Grid' is online, and heavily reduces the damage of Sagittarimon's Sniper Shot. About 50% of defensive grid is ignored by Marked for Death, due to the level difference.

Where her ethereal javelins struck her adversary were of no concern to the incandescent ascendant. Their purpose was to impose steadily increasing attrition through shock damage and impediment of movement. Chipping away at their target until they were weakened to such an extent that they surrendered or utterly vanquished - that was Cion's signature style. That was another reason why she possessed a multitude of fantastic defensive options; to buy her the time needed for her basically foolproof plan to succeed. Unfortunately, due to the crimson parasite, her temporary transcendence was not a viable option, hence she required additional moments to secure her victory. As the dust dispersed, the unleashed Arniomon quickly noticed the single, biological missile the Chaosdramon launched at her current position. Unaware of any targeting system, she waited patiently for the expiration of her iridescent shield. The very instance, she decided to utilize her 'Kismet Blessing' to fully recover and grant her a personal barrier that would absorb some of the force. Engulfed in healing, white radiance, the vulpine sentinel made use of her outstanding nimbleness and leapt high into the sky, attempting to avoid the explosion beneath her. No matter the outcome, which naturally included an additional javelin, the primordial fennec would realize that vitiation the rocket caused to the flora. Such a disgustingly destructive attack from an equally vile fiend. The D-Reaper and its minions truly had no other desire than to cause universal cataclysm, not? But for what reason and final aim? Was there even one, or was this fell entity merely a mindless embodiment of corruption? Ultimately, it was of no importance to Cion. It was her impetus to stop it by any sacrifice necessary and she would not let the good inhabitants of the digital world down. Apparently and thankfully, she was not alone with this aspiration. Battle Log: Passive: - Numen Aeternum: Reduced Physical Strength - Increased Maximum Health, Defenses and Pain Threshhold.

Sagittarimon huffed to herself, knocking another arrow onto the bow. Goddarned Super Mega levels and their stupid high strength. Fighting a fellow Mega was already a pain for ranged and technical fighters like her and Owlmon- a superior enemy was inconvenient without the added difficulty of another annoyance. Just where in the world was their front liner? He wasn't one to be late- he whined about professionalism too much to be a damn hypocrite. At least they had their mystery Super Mega Fox dealing with the brunt of it. Pulling the arrow as far back as she could, the centauress fixed her eye onto the Chaosdramon's body.
From his high vantage point up in the sky, Owlmon could see many things. Mostly the enemies, the transformed Arukenimon and the titanic Chaosdramon- but also the extent of the destruction left in the wake of the unexpected attack. There was a lot going on- and a surprising amount of tough fighters on the defending side. He hadn't realized there were so many quality mercs working in this project. Sadly, quality was not missing on the enemy side either it seemed- they would do well to try and wrap things up quickly here, lest the rest of their apparent allies be overrun. The owl had to smile, however. Up high in the sky, he had caught a familiar sight making a beeline through the battlefields. With that in mind, the Owl swooped down, wings unfolding as his eyes opened wide. Midnight Clutch! His body disappeared entirely, his essence and energy signature seemingly popping off existence.
Blazing a trail through the battlefields, Fladramon zoomed into where he felt the energy of Sagittarimon's Judgement Arrow, a bit curious as to why it felt so solid as opposed to dissipating. Even Sagittarimon couldn't have held onto that thing for this long, much as she would have preferred- the signature was solid, but fainter than usual, too. Had she messed up her shot? Which meant she had probably been forced into a screw up. His eyes narrowed at the thought. Just a bit longer. It looked to be like they were within a forest area. A pain for someone like him, but whatever. He could deal with it.
TL;DR: -Sagittarimon's passive, Hold Fire, allows her to hold onto a shot to add additional effects to the attack. Read spoilers. -Owlmon used Midnight Clutch. Read Spoilers. -Fladramon will be arriving to the thread next round.

Active ability Midnight Clutch Owlmon doesn't really care much for getting upclose and personal with his targets, and when he does find himself forced to get within melee range with one, expect it to be in the most cowardly and risk-free way possible: Backstabbing. A two-step move, Midnight Clutch's first phase consists of Owlmon utilizing his mastery of stealth to modify his data and blend in with the environment, erasing his energy signature and scent completely on the first post. On the second post, he moves in for the kill on a unsuspecting opponent, striking while their back is turned to him with his talons. Should this move land successfully, the enemy has their first 2 Passive abilities and their effects sealed for the next two posts. [3 Post Cooldown]
