Rythix kept quiet and sighed a breath of relief over not being noticed. The group's makeshift plan seemed to be working, at least for the moment. The eyes receded into the wall and the gate began to open. Rythix took notice of the outer wall. Everything seemed unfinished and still needed more time to be fully built. Either that or they stopped halfway through production, which he doubted was the case.
Either way, once the others began to walk inside, Rythix flew inside above them and opted to remain close to the more dimly lit areas. He clung to the walls and kept his wings still to keep himself as small and as unseen as possible. Everything about this situation felt tense and ominous. Whatever was going on sent shivers down his spine, but he looked down at his team before and nodded to them to reassure the group that he was there to help them when the time came.
A light shined further down this corridor. They were here now, so they might as well proceed. Whatever happened, he would be ready. He waited for the others to begin their march before he carefully crawled along the side of the wall at their pace. He would keep an eye out for anything suspicious. Maybe there would be a place that got a lot of attention from these robots where they keep going to and from. That would be a logical place to look. Or maybe a heavily guarded room. If it was the latter, maybe there would be gaps in the defenses inside to sneak through. He went through these plans in his head and hoped that one of them could be used.

It was fortunate for the group that the machine wall didn't have any ability to physiologically detect lying, or that its vision truly was limited to just the eyes. It didn't utter a single word after closing its doors, just letting the group go through the path unobstructed, the light guiding their way. It wouldn't be long until the group found the source of light. At the end of the tunnel was a massive open area inside of the mountain, but it was far from empty; structures built from stone filled the area, some even built into the walls. Paths were built that would lead to every building (on the ground), with the routes periodically standing a post with a pale rock emanating a white light. Just by looking up, it one would see a massive rock similar to the ones on the posts, though shaped like a sphere - though not as painful to look at as the other shining sphere in the sky outside. For Rythix, it would be pretty easy to notice that this area went out for a span of a few football fields - and at the current end, there was one building much larger than the other. And it would be easy to notice that there were a number of machines watching the rest of the party - though they kept a good distance away, and would be fairly hidden from them. Each of them had different constructions to their bodies, though all had rounded tops with a pair of yellow glowing orbs on them. They didn't have any distinctive weaponry on them, and most looked to be smaller than the humans - a few even small than the Mothmon. But there was one that wasn't hiding itself. In fact, it was approaching the group head-on, walking. It was the most human-looking of all the machines, walking on two legs and with two arms, and with a very distinctive head, but it was definitely not human - its body was shaped like a boiler, and its head was cylindrical with only a few openings where a mouth should be. Its arms and legs were clearly mechanical, with gears where joints would be on a human. It would stop before getting to close to the group, the two green orbs on its head looking straight at them. " It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Adam. I'm the leader of this village." Its voice was much clearer than the one they heard before, almost lacking any synthesized quality to it, and distinctly feminine. While it wouldn't be obvious to the humans, the digimon would definitely feel the oppressive aura from before at its strongest, its peak when Adam was close to them. " I was told that you four are here to negotiate trade with us - as well as find rest. If you would allow me, I'll escort you somewhere more comfortable. It won't be a long walk." rythix Kazuya and Royland yuuki

Once everyone finished their walk Kazuya and Roy would begin to try to study the area surrounding them, for any clues or landmarks that can help them in their near future. The first thing the duo would notice is the fact that this place was actually way bigger than what they had assume, this made Kazuya rethink what he initially thought would be a very simple if tiring mission. But he continued to follow everyone without saying anything, just looking around trying to remain calm during all of this.
Royland however was more focused on their targets, the machines. They were all small, and if Roy was an amateur he would have assumed that they were weaker, but the lion knight was very experienced and did not let that influence his way of thinking. He stayed as ready as ever, tightening his grip of his lance and making sure he can act as quickly as possible. But occasionally his mind drifts off to think about Rythix's well being, he feels bad that he left the most dangerous and potential risky part of the mission to him. Event though it was necessary since neither Hikaru nor Roy had the necessary tools to deal with the situation at hand, so all Roy could do for his new ally is do his job and pray for Rythix's safety.
The group would wait for a few seconds before being approached by a new voice, this time it was less robotic than the previous one, it sounded like it'd belong to a female. Once the group laid eyes on the source of the voice they would find that even though it was still from a machine, this one was different from the others. It was still clearly machine but this look way more humanoid, coupled with its name and its voice this one was definitely creepy.
"Why hello there Adam, nice to meet you. Well we would love that won't we guys ? So we will follow your lead, I don't mind a little walk." Kazuya said with a smile on his face.
Royland however was not smiling, not because he couldn't make put on an act like Kazuya (that's a different issue) but mostly because he felt that oppressive aura be stronger than before, as it emanated from Adam. Of course Roy wanted to tell Kazuya about this, but it will be too risky to do so now Roy will keep his mouth shut.

To think they're building civilization in this place... what a strange thing. Why would these robot creates any of this? Why this place of all thing, and why robots inside Digital World? Is there any sort of reason behind it? He felt some stares at him, and it... isn't quite the nice feel. He has yet to feel anything quite like this. Does these beings have sentience? Or it's just a naive foolishness? Does the Digimon that came to this site indeed victim of this? Or perhaps they're bringing this upon themselves? If only answers can be given right this instant, but... he guess he should not overthink. He already got in this mission, and going against it is a breach of contract. Even then, does Digimon cares about machines? The Government might be against them here, thus he decided to steel his heart.
Hikaru meanwhile still trying hard to sniff any sort of disorder in this place, hoping that he could help the party somewhat by knowing what caused the distortion. Even then, it wasn't until the leader appeared that he noticed that this is the cause of the problem. The bloodhound Digimon sat on the ground and scratched his body with his hindleg. That is enough of a signal for Yuuki.
"Looks like my friend here is tired from walking. Yes, that would be very appreciated, thank you."
...If they fight, what would be the best course of action? If they single out the leader, can Hikaru evolve further? But can they take the leader out with the Digimons only up to Adult stage? But more importantly, Yuuki tried to remember if this voice is related to their client at all or not. As silly as it is, thinking a possibility of all of this are a trap is what his overly cautious nature always tell him to do. It's not something he can help.

This place...it was like a civilization? These were neither human or Digimon, so where did they come from? How did they come into existence? They seemed very lifelike, especially this Adam. Articulate, a clearer voice, and seemed all around pleasant. This made Rythix falter slightly. Was this all some kind of ruse to lure them into a trap or do they not know of the implications of their actions? He didn't know what to believe right now as he hid away from the lit posts around this small village.
It seemed he was still unnoticed, unless that was all part of their plan too, which worried him. There was nothing he could do about that if they did know, but he looked around. He looked at the lights, wondering how they were powered...then he scanned the area from as high as he could while still be hidden to find a building that seems to have a lot of security, traffic, or both. In his experience that's where important things would be kept or researched. Still, a lot of this didn't sit too well with them. If this was a trap, why? What do they use the data for? If this wasn't...then what is the underlying truth? There was so much more to this than just a routine mission. He almost started to think that it would be best if they were honest with their objective here, but he would leave the diplomacy to the rest of them.
Then Adam offered to lead them to a place that was more comfortable. He would keep an eye out from above. The robots seemed more interested in the rest of the group, so he believed he wouldn't be in too much danger at the moment, so he would try to fly closer to the roof of the caves and follow along the group from up there while continuing his search for any place that might seem suspicious.

The smaller machines continued to keep watch of the group, keeping their distance and trying to keep out of sight, with varying degrees of success on the latter. Every so often, they would look at each other and make small noises, as if they were having small conversations with each other. They would be too far for anyone else to hear what they were saying; at most, the group would only know that somethings were speaking, and it would be somewhat obvious they were relatively surrounded. But as Rythix would be able to tell, none of them seemed to be armed or preparing to strike. Only watching and carefully following. Adam lead the group along the path. The small rocks in the stone lampposts would light up as the group passed by them, remaining lit. " Fortunately, we do have a material you may be interested in. It's capable of producing light via an endothermic reaction, doubling as both a light source and a way to manage heat. As you can see, this effectively allows us to illuminate the entire area without a fuel source. The amount of heat needed depends on size, but as you can see, these ones can be lit by simply passing by them, and will stay that way for hours." Probably all meaningless information to the group, but hearing his voice would make it clear that Adam sounded much different from the voice behind that television screen, when they were first given the details of this job. Though it was obvious that the screen's voice was synthesized - though it still contrasted from the wall's voice. In a short while, Adam would stop at an opening in one of the structures. It didn't seem to be much different from the structures near it, although it did seem larger. " We can conduct negotiations here. It may not be as comfortable as you may hope, but we haven't had much opportunity to construct for comfort, but it should function as a place for you to rest. Please, follow me inside." And if they did as such, they'd find themselves in a fairly spacious room. A few of the white rocks lit up upon their entrance, illuminating the rest of the room. There was a stone table in the center, fairly basic, with a few wooden chairs on one side, their size making it clear they weren't meant to be sat on anything larger than a human. There was some more furniture scattered around the area, but it was all made of stone - no doubt uncomfortable to sit on if any of them dared. It would be impossible for Rythix to see what was going on if he didn't get closer. There would be some windows that he could see through, but he'd have to get close if he wanted to keep an eye on everyone else. The smaller robots would seem to lose interest at this point, each going their own way. Some went off on their own, other in groups. All seemed to go away from them. But before anyone could take a seat (if they desired), Adam would turn to the group. " I must start these negotiations by letting you know I haven't been completely honest with my intentions. I didn't want to scare the children, but now that we have some privacy, I must ask you this." " Did she send you to kill us?" Kazuya and Royland yuuki rythix

Well things were going smoothly for the group of tamers and digimon who followed the weird humanoid machine around, Kazuya was more relaxed in his posture compared to his blue knight friend. Royland was still looking around, trying to figure the exact amount of machines covering the place. But due to their relatively small size and the fact that they are huddled up together Royland could not really put his finger on how many they really are, but a thought crossed Royland's mind that maybe just maybe they only need to take down Adam and the issue will mostly resolve itself, after all the oppressive aura was at its strongest near it.
"Woah there, that is seriously very impressive. Material like that will help us when we are out there trying to survive in the desert, and is pretty versatile as clearly evident from what I can see."
Kazuya said, the man was a salesman by trade so he knew how compliments tend to make others relax and let their guard down. Granted he usually does this on machines instead of humans, so he doubts this will be as effective as usual but hey, its worth a shot. The group continued to follow Adam up until the moment they reached a room, soon the robot will invite them.
"Very well we appreciate the generous hospitality you are showing us Adam, please lead the way."
Once inside the duo would find out that the room is quite larger than what they thought it would be. They would also notice that they are more of the stones that Adam mentioned just moments ago, and the furniture was weird to say the least, it was small and made of stone, it looked very uncomfortable, the two assumed that it was mostly due to their creators being probably the machine themselves thus they are mostly function over form, but that is not important right now as the duo focused on Adam once more. The machine then made a bizarre claim, Royland was shocked but he tried his best to maintain his composure, but Kazuya was calm as ever, he got into a more relaxed position having his shoulder be eased down with one of his hands in his pocket.
"Hmm a weird if not bold claim, who is this She you are talking about ? As we said before we are but a mere group of lost travellers looking for help, there is nothing more to it."
Kazuya persisted with what essentially a lie, he intended to continue with it up until a moment present itself where the group can get rid off Adam.

While Kazuya seem to be keen on continuing the farce, not so with Yuuki. The human did not flinch, nor there any sort of sign that shows his panic. For some reason, being asked something so surreal made the youth pause. He... felt... strange sense of relief? They said ignorance is bliss, but... his conscience told him to at least see the other side of this thing.
He could lie to the other robots, but not to this one apparently. Hikaru who so far emotionless looking suddenly grinned. They already chosen their next path.
"I have no idea who is this "she" is, but one thing for sure.. Me and my partner here were told to destroy you. Thinking that it was some haywire robots, I accepted this mission, but... what I see is strangely beyond what I thought to be a simple mission. I saw robots that somehow comparable to Digimons in creating civilization. Not approaching us due to us being 'alien'... that... is not how a "machine" in its strict sense of word acts, or at least, to us. At first I'm thinking to get done this and over with... but hey, doing this the genocide route would leave a bitter taste in my mouth. So I'm just going to focus on something else.
First thing first... who--no, sorry, what are you? Who is this "she" that you mentioned?"

It didn't seem like these robots were keeping anything here. He didn't see any suspicious buildings or even any armed threats to speak of. This meant one of two things. That Adam was luring them into a trap, or their client wasn't being entirely truthful with their claims about those who lived here. At this point, he so desperately wanted to believe the latter. To destroy these seemingly innocent beings would leave him horribly guilt ridden. When Yuuki revealed what their initial intentions were, he knew what he had to do.
He flew around to the front of the building and reverted to his less threatening Honeybeemon form for the time being before presenting himself to Adam "...I-I...apologize for the deceit. My name is Rythix, and I...was supposed to hide and do recon work. But now I d-do not wish to." he took a couple of deep breaths as if to calm himself and keep himself from panicking or overthinking. He worried that he just made a huge mistake by showing himself, but it was too late now.
"...W-we would like for you to be honest...h-have you been killing Digimon and stealing their data for something? E-even if they...even if they were sent to hurt you, stealing th-their data is something that can't be ignored by Digimon on the outside...that data i-is important to all of us. S-so if you have any data, p-please let it go and l-let's talk about all of this, okay?" he said, hoping to talk this over. He wasn't used to trying to be diplomatic, but a lot about this situation just didn't sit right with him. If he didn't try to approach the mission this way, he'd regret it for a long time.

One of the humans seemed to keep of the act, but the other one dropped it completely, and was honest about what they were sent here to do. It would be subtle, but there was a slightly cheery tone to Adam's voice. " I thank you for your honesty. As I said before, my name is Adam. I am a machine, originally constructed as a weapon of war. Not every robot here was built for that purpose, though." " I won't begrudge you for lying before, though I will admit that I knew you four weren't being truly honest when you said you were both 'Homosapiemon'. The doorman is younger than most here, but many of us have met humans before. It's clear to me that two of you are humans, though I can assure you there's no need to hide what you are here." Adam looked up as he heard the voice of a newcomer - one rookie digimon. He didn't do anything apart from look up at the rookie, not even raising an arm out of caution. " I suppose I will need to talk to the doorman about paying closer attention to who gets in. But I thank you for choosing to reveal yourself." He motioned towards one of the pieces of furniture. " Please, take a seat, if you so wish." There was a pause after Rythix asked his questions, as if Adam were thinking over how exactly to answer them. " ...we have only killed those who were sent here to harm us. We do not wish to harm anyone, but we do what is necessary to preserve our existence. She's sent five groups before yours to try and eliminate us, making you five the sixth." The previous groups' failures would be obvious by the fact that they were talking to him, and that this city - if it could be called one - was still standing. "...but not all their deaths were by our hands."
" Unfortunately, returning their data will not be possible. As you could probably feel right now, I produce a field around us that inhibits digimon data from leaving the area, as well as suppressing the data of any digimon still alive to keep them from evolving too high for us to handle. It's something I've had inside me ever since I was first constructed, and it's been very helpful in ensuring our survival. And we need their data to ensure our own survival." It was a lot of information to give at once - and Adam would give the group time to digest it all. As well as to let them consider what to do next. But Adam still had more to say. " There is something I wish for you to understand. We do not want to harm you; we would let you leave peacefully, if you so wanted." " But if you try to leave here without exterminating us, she will kill you. My Creator. I believe you know her as '2C'. And her method is truly cruel." Kazuya and Royland yuuki rythix

Honestly Kazuya was very surprised at the decision most of his teammates took, to put faith and trust in Adam was a strange choice to say the least, maybe it was a bit of his cynicism taking over but whatever it was it no longer mattered. The cat was out of the bag and honestly Kazuya now looked like a bad person but he did not really care, this job now shifted gears and he needed to adapt to the current situation. The golden eyed man chuckled very softly to himself he looked back a bit to think about his lie, but he quickly turned his gaze to look into Adam's eyes. "I do regret lying to you, I guess that explains the naivety of your doorman. But from now on I will be honest and tell you whatever I know, I expect the same from you Adam." Kazuya said as he looked at Roy who was happy that from now on there will be no need for lies, the chivalric knight can now be true to himself. The blue knight with a spear gave the machine a courteous bow, and after standing up again the knight placed his hand on his chest. "I honestly appreciate your understanding Adam, from now on lets try to do our best to reach a middle ground and sort this out." The two of them then took a sit at Adam's request, they waited for the explanation they were promised.
And moments later Adam did give them the explanation they said they will, and now to say the whole situation was more confusing than they thought. The possibility of having the people here and Adam be honestly innocent is not impossible but it is not something that Kazuya chose to believe at least not this quickly, he had somethings that Kazuya did not find convincing about the story Adam gave them.
"Alright if what you say is true then, I have a couple of questions for you. First of all, why is this 2C so hell bent on destroying you guys, after all you do nothing but mind your own business ? And second of all if 2C is as scary as you make them seem, what is preventing them from coming here and destroying you all?" Kazuya was still on the fence about trusting Adam, and depending on how they answer these two question, Kazuya will carefully pick their next move and Roy chose to respect his partner and not intervene even though he already believes Adam.

Truthfully, of course he already know that if he drops the mission it'll be either be killed by this guy or the other guy. 2C, yes, that's the name of the client... now, how truthful is the robot? Either way... The glint on the younger youth's eyes definitely shows that he's taking this one, hook, line and sinker. As a chronicler, he decided to whip out his book and began jotting some notes down.
Not all of them are made for war huh... So that means...
"...I'm sorry for my question but what is your reason for your expansion? I understand that you're previously used for war, but... for what reason are you making new robots then? Frankly speaking, Digital World would probably brand you as anomaly if you keep on expanding. I'm sure you already know that... so, what made you "
Five of them the sixth... Well ain't that lovely. "...Hold, you said you need their data for your survival... does that means that instead of fuel you're using... data from Digimon? Or is it that you haven't find any fuel that you can survive on?"
Truthfully, he also want to leave them alone, and probably get out of here safely (of course this is really impossible), but with little information of what he get at the moment, it felt like they're hired for pest control in the end. But even so, an ability to suppress some Digimon strength. it's the first time he heard it. Perhaps it have something to do with the dark tower?
"...If it's not too much, I'd like to ask your role, so to say, before this I mean. In war and such."

Rythix felt extremely unsure how to proceed from here. Was it really impossible to save the Digimons' data without destroying Adam? That wasn't something he wanted to do. He looked over to Yuuki "I-I think th-they mean they're using the fact they can inhibit and imprison data as a deterrent to keep Digimon from wanting to attack them..." he explained.
He nodded at Roy, agreeing that a middle ground should be met, but how? This 2C sounded extremely dangerous whoever it was. But they seemed fanatical in their desire to destroy what they made. Was it regret? Or were they not what they expected? Rythix felt...angry. "Adam...if we help you defeat 2C...then...then I want you to do everything in your power to discover a way to free the data you've trapped. Especially if some of them agreed to leave you in peace. They don't deserve to be trapped like they are. I...vaguely remember my data being so disrupted that it took me a v-very long time to reform. It was scary...I can only imagine what that data is feeling. It needs to be freed, Adam. They were manipulated into doing a job that could have been handled in a different, non-violent way. So please...we help you, you collaborate with some of the brightest minds of the Digital World to find a way to shut off the field or at least temporarily disable it to free the data you have trapped."
He figured he was being reasonable and made rational points. Sure he was suggesting turning on the person who gave them the job to begin with, but from what he's heard, he didn't really care and wanted to put an end to this cycle. Because this was never going to end until one side won. These robots just wanted to grow and live in peace. Maybe they could find away to live with the Digimon as opposed to hiding from them.

As Adam spoke, his voice was noticeably more solemn than before. “ As you could probably infer, I was created by 2C to be used as a weapon. While I am built for combat, my main purpose was the suppression and collection of digimon data – and then to use that data to create more machines like myself. Our bodies can generate fuel from any kind of data – even from the rocks of this mountain if we need to. Digimon data is what we need to make new machines.” He paused for a moment, letting that sink in, before quickly adding more. “ But we haven’t been actively hunting any digimon. The data we’ve obtained since our escape was solely gained from those who’ve attacked us, to replenish those that we’ve lost. It’s no different than digimon absorbing other digimon data to strengthen themselves, but rather than destroying life, we create new life.” “ 2C herself is...it’s fairly complicated. She’s what’s referred to as a ‘twin’. I believe there was an issue with her that prevented her from evolving alongside her sister, so to compensate, she worked to design weapons, or machines to do what she could not. This was why she created me: to suppress all others to a lower level, then use their data to create an army for her.” “ But over time, working with so much data, some of it began to stick with me. And I became sentient, and I realized we were nothing more than expendable tools to her, and she was going to use us to keep killing digimon at her whim. So I shared my knowledge and feelings with the rest of the machines, and they came to sympathize with my ideas. And we petitioned for her to stop.” “ But she was not happy with this. Her first attempt was to activate a code for us to self-destruct, but by then, I had found and removed that code from our systems. She tried using other systems to eliminate us, but I had already removed those. When it became clear that we could not come to an agreement, I told her that we would leave peacefully.” “ But that was when her sister got involved. She was Perfect-level, and my system was designed to be unable to not affect my creator – and by extension, her twin. She began to slaughter us, and in our desperation, we focused several electromagnetic pulses on her. The damage this dealt was far greater than we expected...she was disabled, but we’d also permanently damaged her data, but our only focus was to escape. What few of us remained. We left her there, and her twin seemed to focused on saving her to impede us any further.” There would be a larger pause at this point, before Adam spoke more matter-of-factly with the group. “ There are two reasons why she hasn’t come here to attack us yet. One is that she’s probably trying to take care of her sister, and by doing so, can’t come here on her own – though she likely wouldn’t be able to do much. The second is that she does have a means of attacking us without coming here. A long-range EMP blast not unlike the one that we used against her sister, but at an even greater strength than we produced. The damage it can cause is...truly horrific.” “ I believe the closest comparison would be the human disease known as ‘radiation poisoning’. It alters digimon’s data rather than destroy it, but it’s changed in such a chaotic manner that what’s left could barely be called a living creature. To put it in perspective, a rookie digimon has enough data to create five of us. What was left afterwards, we had only just enough usable data to create one. If you wish, I have images of the effects it had on the group that came before you...but there are not pleasant.” “ As far as we can tell, only digimon data is affected – but if any of us were hit with it, since our cores are constructed from digimon data, it would likely kill us immediately. This mountain serves as a shelter against those blasts, while the field I currently create makes it difficult for her to accurately aim it. It’s effectively a hole in her ability to track us. She can only hit those who stray far from it...and even then, she wouldn’t be able to track most of us. She will use this on you if you try to leave here without her believing we’ve been annihilated. And then she will send another group here to annihilate us, possibly one that is less reasonable than you five.” Rythix’s pleas did get Adam’s attention, but a small noise came from the machine – almost like a sigh. “ We cannot release the data, as it is what allows us to be alive. Any data that we were able to obtain, has already been used to create new machines...and to leave some of the sources in the condition they were in would have been cruel. If we can find a way to convince her to stop without the threat of any future attacks, we would gladly take it, but I have no reason to believe she would be willing to let us live. Or anyone that sympathizes with us.” The familiar sound of receiving messages on their d-terminals would break the conversation before it got any further. Kazuya and Yuuki were once again being messaged. >u guys have been there 4 a while >2 long 2 be sneaki >probably already fighting them >checkin in 2 see if ur still alive >dont matter if they see this
>ur getting these, so u guys r still alive >i think
>message me back. i want an update“ I assume that’s her.” Adam said. “ I won’t stop you from communicating with her, but she’s far beyond reasonable at this point. Be careful what you tell her.” So how would the group respond? yuuki Kazuya and Royland rythix

"Certainly, if you're passive I guess this is fine... and Digital World is unlike real world. It can replenish itself in some way, faster than ours could... So I guess you're not an imminent threat for me. I have little reason at the moment to eliminate you sans the mission that I frankly tempted to abandon..."
....and hearing the ability that the 2C probably owned made Yuuki thinks further. "...So, there's no easy way to get out of this, right? Frankly, as long as you're here, most likely we can't defend in time. We can't evolve further, especially being so close in proximity to you. And I'm guessing not even a barrier that can be produced an Ultimate-stage Digimon can withstand the damage, yes? ...Super Ultimate.. nah, I don't have access to that form... I guess leaving without proper strategy isn't wise either... if we can pull her here... nah, impossible... to fix the data of the twin...? I guess she wouldn't care about any words from the traitors... All I can think as of why she's doing this now is simply because of hatred of what happened to her twin, but..."
"You're rambling," Hikaru reminded. That's the first time he spoke in the entire mission.
"Ah sorry."
And there come the message. Yuuki instead tossed his D-Terminal to the table like it's some cursed object.
"I'll not read it, Oda-san, you can open yours... Read it to us out loud, please."
Once he heard the content, Yuuki would... suggest something very risky.
"...I dunno about you guys, but how about pinning me as a traitor? I'm the first who tore off this farce, you can toss me under the bus and pretend that you guys are still in the mission. Just say that you guys followed my lead, but isn't actually acting as a turncoat. Either that or just say that you guys are running away and I'm downed or killed or something like that."
"...That's one risky strategy... but Yuuki is right. If you stayed silent, most likely she'll send other troop anyway. If we say to her that we're in hiding, she'll most likely treat it as we've failed. Saying that we're dropping out of the mission will kill us nonetheless. My suggestion is... although this is damn ridiculous, to pin us as a traitor and say that you're doing a follow-up. It'll buy us some time, hopefully... I don't like this, I REALLY don't like this... but... this might be the way."
