Cion's words about how despite how much we want to alter our past, its probably a gift from beyond that such thing is impossible by any means. After all whatever happened, be it good or bad, it ultimately contributed to everyone being who they are now and even better it lead to everyone meeting each other. But still despite all that Royland's gaze was different from his silver friend, you see unlike Cion's gaze that looked out and up to the night and the future, Roy had his hands together burdened by a fate he couldn't change, a fate that continued to mock him after he tried to run away from it and have a new start. Leading a turbulent life of constant combat, yet unable to live peacefully, Royland was truly a victim of fate. "Hm, your words carry a lot of truth in them. Perhaps changing the past will not make me the digimon I am today, and even worse it might rob me from the pleasure of meeting people like Kazuya and or course you as well. So yeah despite my regrets, I am happy I got to meet you Cion." Roy said as he turned to the same night Cion was looking, life is truly a messy unpredictable but fun ride isn't ?
After that somber exchange Royland enjoyed the moment that came after it, a moment of a pure and genuine connection. As two digimon bound by a dream shared a quite moment, but that silence conveyed what mere words simply cannot do, the two eyes were locked for a decent amount of time but quickly Royland took his eyes away from Cion's and back to the wooden floor, a disturbing thought came to Roy's mind once again, something that haunted, what if fate took Cion's life just like it did all of his friends who shared his dream in the previous life ? The little lion shook his head gently trying to exercise those thoughts from his head, he should no longer blame himself for events that happened in the past and should look forward to the bright future.
Cion then began to explain her story to Royland, but first Cion was visibly flustered by Roy's questions. This was quite shocking for the white lion knight as up to this Cion seemed like quite the stoic and serious digimon, so seeing that side of her was refreshing and endearing to say the least. Royland flashed his friend a quick smile before she continued with her tale. It was truly a bizarre and tragic tale, to think someone whom you once loved now not only feels the same way anymore, but now is attached to a different lover in this life and has kids with them. This sounded like a tough outcome, and in that moment Roy felt a strong sense of sympathy and empathy towards his silver friend, but he could not know what to say and he even wondered if there is anything to say at that moment but he needed to say something.
"I see, I am sorry to hear that Cion. And I am sorry to have brought that up, I did not know things went the way it did." Royland said as his gaze was towards Cion, for a second there the Spadamon took a deep breath before taking his eyes from her and towards his own hands. "I can't say that I understand how that must have felt, but I had experienced something sort of similar to that. You see back in my previous life I had these two people who I cared for more than anything in the world, one was an Impmon who was my best friend nay my brother and we were so close and we always had fun. And on the other hand I also knew a lopmon whom I loved from the bottom of my heart, I wanted to be with her and treat her like a queen. But unfortunately she chose my friend over me, and I was happy for them but from time to time I felt jealous of their and I hated myself for feeling that way, but with time I learned to cope with it. And I guess thats just how life is, you get hurt but you learn from those bad times and we grow as people. So what I am trying to say is, even though what happened with you and Owen was not ideal, I am sure life will reward you for your patience I am sure of it." Royland said as he turned towards the silver digimon with a big smile on his face, this day was nothing like he had expected.

Regrets were without doubt the strongest chains that tied people to their past and rendered them blind to the present and future. It was a rough, unending road Cion had once trodden, but the realization of this act's inherent futility had allowed her to shift to another path that possessed a distant yet faintly visible horizon. It was not indifference which had enabled her to alter her course - quite the contrary, it was devotion. To her, it was a force that persisted despite her ongoing anguish and thankfully bygone loss of perspective.
Ultimately though, she was more happy for her cherished friend than herself that sorrow did not impede his aspirations. And if it was her that had to serve as a catalyst for his passion than she did so gladly. It was this bond with Roy she experienced soulfully for a moment of bliss as their faces lingered in an almost dreamy gaze. Golden eyes remained focused on each other while a pleasant silence reigning supreme for a few seconds. At least to the fair lady, there was nothing but the comely Spadamon and his heart that gleamed perpetually like the radiant stars of the night sky. Their togetherness was... blissful.
Hence it was with initial worry and dismay that the restrained Arniomon beheld the chivalric paragon averting his sight from her. Briefly feeling her core beating louder and faster, it were in the end his questions that permitted her to calm down slowly. Clearly appreciating his smile and genuine attention, she less than elegantly summarized her whole existence in a couple of concise sentences. Naturally they did not give credit to the uncountable experiences made and individuals encountered, yet it definitely sufficed for her chummy companion to attain a good grasp.
"No need to be sorry, dear. You couldn't possibly have known this." Cion kindly and rather cheerfully discarded any potential sentiments of resentfulness. With her paws unwoundedly folded on her tummy, it was obvious that words alone were no longer enough to hold sway over her. Again, this was not due to callousness, but strength and firmness of character. What kind of gentlewoman, much less visionary leader, would she be if mere inquiries and answers caused her to tremble? Such spite was completely unbecoming, especially when directed towards treasured partners. Besides, the last thing she wanted from those she considered important was hesitation. Counsel and different perspectives had to be welcomed and advocated to be utilized properly!
If nothing else that was her opinion and the vulpine sentinel did her best to abide by it. Eventually, that was her conclusion, it was bound to become perfectly natural to her no matter what events she faced. But ASCENSION and their current task was not solely about her. Quietly, she continued to listen to her acquaintance's tale and woes they contained. It was truly a shame that beaming souls like him had to endure such innermost pain, but the hope persevered that this status quo could one day be changed forever.
"Your feelings were understandable - and your personal growth is admirable." Cion commented silently yet firmly, hoping that her support and approval were solace to Sir Royland. Evidently, notions of jealousy were not beyond her, but acceptance of how Owen felt in this cycle was unconditional. Forcing anything else was childish and in vain. Due to their shared history, they were kindred spirits one way or the other anyway. Siblings, special someones... was there even a necessity to divide affection into these categories? Lacking an answer, calling it a curiosity was all that was left.
Beholding the white lion's pleasantly proud simper, it pained the graceful fox to shake her head in partial disagreement. "Patient I will be, Roy, but not full of expectations for a reward. That is not how life works." She stated calmly before slowly motioning her right paw to his left. Waiting for a moment as her aureate eyes again focused on his, she softly put the palm of her tender hand on the taut back of his. "I believe I was already rewarded... in a sense. But the hard, long work to fulfill my... our dream - that is entirely upon us to carry out fervently... and of course patiently."

Royland was honestly both surprised and impressed at the strong resolve displayed by Cion, the wound of the heart are the toughest to deal with and to be honest even Royland himself can't say that he had made a full recovery from his first love turning him down for his best friend, so the lion can not even begin to fathom what Cion's situation must have felt like, yet the fennec was so kind as to try and comfort him instead of the other way around which just proved to Roy how strong Cion actually is. The simple honest knight turned to her once again even though this time the exchange of stares was much shorter than before, the two digimon saw eye to eye once more. "I guess so, anyways I am just happy you could move on Cion. That alone is an admirable feat." Royland said with a smile on his face, he truly meant what he just said to Cion, his words were not empty compliments.
The white lion then appreciated Cion comforting him for the way he once felt and for what its worth she was right, not even the purest of saints could not feel a sense of Jealousy if they were in his shoes, but that is long gone along with the friends he cherished. The spadamon then shook his head he knew that this was no time to feel sorry for himself and that he will need to change his attitude, the spadamon then leaned on the edge of the window, with a smile on his face, his gaze was on a wall but his mind wandered else where. "You are right, but that's in the past. For now I will focus on the now and the future and you are right, this thing we will make will be something great but we will need to work hard in order to achieve that dream." Royland said, his attitude clearly changed from a somber and low one to his usual more bombastic and excitable self, Royland was back and he wanted to stay happy and stop thinking about stuff that makes him sad.
The rookie then turned towards Kazuya only to see the man to be ever so deep in sleep, Roy was honestly impressed to see how comfortable Kazuya can be sleeping on a chair especially since he knows how comfortable the beds in Kazuya's apartment are, then the golden eyed man did grow up poor so sleeping in rather uncomfortable situations is not something that is alien to him. After spending some small amount of time musing over who his human partner is Roy turned to Cion with a smile on his face, the lion just thought of something and he wanted to share it with Cion.
"Hey Cion, listen I remembered something I wanted to tell you about. I have been think about our goal as a team and came to a conclusion, I am not good with paperwork and finance and that sort of logistics like say Kazuya is. But I want to help and I think I know how I will do that, I will use my expertise in combat and running an army and find a group of digimon and train them. And create a group focused on protecting our dream nation, you and I both know that we will face danger in the form of outside forces coming to attack us, so as we grow I will go and recruit these digimon. What do you think ? Is there something else you think I should be doing in order to help our cause ?" Royland said, this might be an unconvential time for this topic but the two had time to kill so why not.

Mutual admiration for both similar and different reasons - it was a weird sentiment, but to be honest but Cion was not bothered the slightest by this realization. On the contrary, it was something she cherished about the unique bond she shared with Sir Royland. Although their pasts were unlike and their paths had never crossed before, their history, characters and dreams made them kindred spirits. It was not the same connection she had with Owen, but that was of no concern either. Affection and joint ambitions were hardly aspects that raised reservations, especially when they were tied to a cause of goodwill.
As always happy that their points of view aligned so easily, the silver fennec nodded calmly and relaxed by leaning against the window's frame. For a moment, as she was lost in her own mind, she contemplated her recent experiences. The notion that discarding her bygone existence was quite simple was strange, yet preferred over perpetually lingering doubts and worries. However, the likable Spadamon had hit the nail on its head regarding this subject. The present and future mattered a thousandfold more for it was actually formable - and despite the inevitable eon of efforts she was not afraid. No... she looked forward to it!
Blinking a couple of times, the restrained Arniomon was pushed out of her thoughts since her treasured friend once again sought to banter with her. Naturally, this was a pleasure to her, which was why her ears peaked to attentively internalize any and all information she received. To her delight, the white lion's ideas and suggestions concerning ASCENSION were nothing short of excellent. "Our own guardian corps. Yes... no longer having to rely on other heroic groups like the Knights Of The Rose would be beneficial." Cion smilingly voiced her approval of her partner's project.
Yet, because Roy had asked her, she was glad to give feedback in an attempt to share her perspective on the matter. Self-evidently she did so kindly and respectfully, but equally as firm. "There is. Do not only recruit individuals. Find other organizations, unions and alike with whom we might forge an alliance. Strengh in self-reliance is superb, but helping hands through official, legitimate pacts won't be disadvantageous... especially in these dark times." She instructed even-temperedly. Of course she had already accomplished a few connections, but perhaps someone with military expertise was able to gain better results. The small fox certainly trused her companion to achieve their goals.

Royland paid attention to Cion, the white lion wanted to acquire all of the information he can from her. While he had some expereince as a leader of a giant army, the Spadamon never had an allegiance to one country, now he is a founding member of one the rules has changed so any tips in any shape way or form will be apperciated. Then Cion seemed to approve of his ideas and that made the tiny white lion happy as a smile covered his tiny face as the moonlight shined over his armor. "Yeah exactly, as good as the knights of the rose are having our guardian corps will be more effecient. But you may not know but despite my looks I am a harsh instructor, so those who will enter that special group will have to seirously impress me." He said with a light chuckle, the spadamon was finally being more fun and light hearted as he usually is.
He then listened to her other requests, and while he wished he knew that type of thing is better given to Kazuya who is despite his reclosed nature very good with people due to his dream like charisma, the Spadamon then looked at Cion before giving her a very firm nod. "Got it, leave it to us. I think Kazuya knows how to strike deals with orgnization better than me, which only means I will make sure our guardian corps will be all the better for it, as I can focus on that. This will be a long journey, but like the humans say, Rome was not built in a day." Royland said as he leaned on the wall and shifted his gaze to ever so distant moon, the lion would have participated in another journey and he had hoped this time he wont end up flying too close to the sun and burn.
The night was still young, the two digimon had a lot of time to kill before Astamon shows up. But Roy was distant in some thought, as his mind wandered on and on about something in paticular. Was it a little rude on his part ? Perhaps, but he really did not mean to do that to Cion, he just got distracted.

Cion could not help herself but to chuckle with glee. The sentiment of Sir Royland acting akin to a drill sergeant was both incredibly gobsmacking and amusing. It was simply difficult for her to imagine the delightfully cordial lad to be a fierce commander. Then again, he was a white knight who preferred to leave nothing to chance, similar to her. He was at heart a paladin of goodwill, so who was better suited to raise an army from the ground up than an experienced paragon of his calibre? That was why she often nodded approvingly in spite of her joining his sereneness.
Once more, the silver fennec approved of the fine Spadamon's suggestion to cooperate with his digidestined partner Kazuya to form official alliances. It was true that the young man had excellent charisma compared to most humans who were rather placid in comparison to his self-assuredness and dedication. If anyone of ASCENSION was capable of forging pacts with groups of either species it was likely him. And though it was a fact that Rome was not built in a single day, that did not mean she was not anticipating the completion of their first cornerstone and what lingered beyond.
Not saying a word, the restrained Arniomon noticed the emergence of Roy's silence and lost in thought state. For a while, she merely observed him and his comely frame that was covered in the moon's soft yet radiant light. To her, it was almost as if she looked directly at his soul - so beaming it was. Even now, the felicity and gratitude she felt was nearly unfathomable. Where had he been all these years? Then again, she did not complain. Perhaps it was precisely the anguish she had endured that had allowed them to meet and forge a bond.
Whatever the truth of the matter was, it no longer was of relevance to her. Cion was just glad that her dream was neither forlorn nor inconceivable. The support of her dearly treasured companion helped her with her firm conviction that the future did not have to be feared. If people worked for progress and prosperity... then maybe everything was possible. Which was exactly why the fiends they awaited had to be stopped quickly and relentlessly.

Royland watched the moon awed by its beauty and magnificence, but unbeknownst to him. He had drifted off to sleep, Royland's nap was very breif but at mean time his dreams were filled with visions of the past. Of things that happened, things that could've been. But it was oh so breif as he woken up, and looked back at Kazuya who still slept peacefully. After all this there was still time to kill, Royland contemplated sneaking a little practice session but sadly there is no time for that. So he just kept watch till the time came, the main thoughts for Roy at this moment where how they are gonna deal with the situation that will occur soon. What if there is indeed a big organization filled with stronger digimon than the weregarurumon, will his current strength be enough ? He will find out soon enough.
"Hey Kazuya wake up, time up. We need to prepare for the upcoming exchange of items, we dont know what kind of digimon will come so hurry up."
Kazuya woke up, he first stretched his arms before yawning covering his mouth with his right hand. The golden was clearly a bit uncomfortable, but what do you expect, the man slept in a very uncomfortable position sitting up straight. After collecting his thoughts the golden eyed man turned to Cion and Royland.
"Wow I slept for a total of four hours and 30 minutes, guess I really needed that. Anyways we should really formulate a plan, I guess our best bet is to use a similar tactic. Since this Astamon does not know we even exist, we can maybe use Cion's potent dimension trap thing and catch him by surprise. Of course if you have a better plan please let me know." Kazuya said as he got up from the chair, and decided to do some more stretching.
Royland then clapped his hand and turned towards Cion very quickly, the lion can't believe he forgot to ask her this from the beginning. "Wait a minute Cion, how could I forget. You are really strong, how did you do what you did to those guys out there. That space dimension thing was cool, after today I would love to study it if you don't mind." Royland asked a bit excited about the prospect of learning from Cion's abilities. "Oh but yeah lets focus on the current situation, what should we do leader ?" Roy said as he turned to Cion looking for her suggestion.

Throughout the night, Cion was quite capable of sleeping, yet she refused to due to her sense of duty. It was likely a decision she would bewail eventually, but it was nothing that could not be fixed with a hot cup of delicious coffee. Nonetheless, as she guarded her resting companions who deservedly savored repose, she continued to contemplate every experience she had made thus far. The mistakes and lessons learned, it was her deepest wish to do as most did not - actually learn from them and create something better. Being an ideal leader... whatever it took, there was no other option than becoming one.
As always grasping the unequaled responsibility the digital universe's fate and she herself had imposed on her, it was still with utmost placidity that the tiny fennec faced the future. Ultimately, there was no reason for her to be afraid or sorrow-stricken. Her aspirations were an inherent improvement to the lingering status quo, hence neither time nor perceived shortcomings unsettled her. These days, it was impossible to solve the issues of the billions, if not trillions, of souls residing in this world. Only by forging a realm that gave the sufferers a chance to break the fulcrum themselves could lasting concord thrive and prevail.
Though the realization saddened the vulpine sentinel, it was simply a fact that things would never change if she proceeded to step into the lives of others and resolve their problems on an individual basis. The result of countless eras and heroes was proof of that. However, there was neither regret nor spite she felt for the radiant hearts who were eager to defend the weak and innocent. It was a noble cause and their efforts indirectly supported ASCENSION by keeping fiends at bay. Perhaps... all chess pieces were exactly on the correct spot.
Calmly, Cion watched as Sir Royland and Kazuya woke up from their rest. Realizing that several hours had past her by, she blinked once or twice before regaining her composure. Agreeing that some preparations did not hurt their plans, she attentively listened to the young man's suggestion. "No, the space-time distortion will suffice for a proper ambush." She relaxedly voiced her approval of the proposed scheme. It was simple yet effective, although an important question remained. "Capture or defragmentation?"
Regardless of the response, the restrained Arniomon, as she continued to sit on the window's sill, shifted her head and gaze to face the chivalric, white lion. His fascination delighted and amused her greatly, though she of course kept her ladylike poise. "Well... I'm not quite sure how to answer this. Every ability of a digimon is in essence channeling data. I can manipulate it to warp gravity for example, and you can perform powerful strikes." She argued, confident that this was nothing the fine paragon was not already aware of. "But if you wish to study it be my guest."
As for her own input concerning their next steps, she figuratively eradiated a gleaming aura of calmness. Folding her hands and placing them on her hip, she shrugged with a coltish smile. "I'd propose unfreezing our captives so they can play along. The rest... you've done well so far, so I leave it to you, unless you insist." Cion gladly spoke her trust in the competence of her two friends. After all, she was not a person who relished bossing others around. Her partners did admirably, which was exactly why she was absolutely willing to let them keep command.
An adequate leader had to have and show confidence in her followers and lieutenants.

Royland was so excited at the prospect of studying the complex nature of Cion's attacks, his excitement was too intense that he almost got side tracked. Luckily he remembered what is important and got back to the current situation, he remember that he should be able to unfreeze the captured foes and start prepration for the ambush. He then turned towards Kazuya who gave him a nod and took out the digivice, Royland then began to glow as his body changed. Royland then changed from Spadamon to Iceliomon, the lion then headed towards the frozen digimon. Kazuya then turned towards Cion, the man had something to say. "Hey we should hurry up and try to get in a convenienet spot to prepare for ambush. We should let Roy deal with the talking. " Kazuya said as he got out hoping Cion would follow him and leave the small shack, and head out to the forest and hide behind some trees, hopefully what worked before should work now against that Astamon.
Royland then approached WereGarurumon and unfroze the top part of his body, and began to explain their plan to him well not to the full details. Just little enough so that he can understand what they should do, the WereGarurumon had no other options but to cowardly accept and follow through with Roy's plan, for he knew that if he tries anything funny, Cion would destroy him and his friends in an instant. After unfreezing everyone Roy reverted back to his Spadamon form and followed Kazuya, the Spadamon then waited to see what will happen. And moments later, while Kazuya,Roy and Cion were in hiding and the trio of criminals were ready to help trick who would have been their future employer, time could not been moving slower to them as they got nervous with each passing minute, what will fate have in store for them ?
The time of the exchange has finally come and from a couple of feet in front of the Shack a purple portal opened, and three figures walked from out of it. The first of them was an Astamon who twirled a knife with his right hand, the other two were your standard Guardmon. "Well well if it is not my favourite little group of dreamers, you can finally join our family. You just have to show me the digimental you claim to have got, that is such a wonderful feat to have not only located a digimental but to also successfully steal it without being caught. And here I thought I had given you an impossible task, well this must be the very first time I am glad to be proven wrong. Now lets hurry this up guys, I dont have a lot of time to waste here. I need to get back and meet one of our other captains." Astamon stated as the seemingly ultimate level digimon looked around, something tipped him off, he was not at ease at all.
The WereGarurumon was so afraid of what might happen if he got caught that he made a giant mistake, he looked away from Astamon and looked twoards the trees. This rookie mistake that only showed up due to his excessive fear, sealed the deal for Astamon after all this was not the first time someone tried to ambush him. In less than a second the Astamon leaped forward grabbed the WereGarurumon and turned him around wrapping his arm around his neck, no matter how much the wolf struggled he was completely overpowered.
"Boss!"
The Minotaurmon and Meramon exclaimed, worried about the life of their leaders. The two of them got into battle formations trying to strike the Astamon, quickly the two Guardmons jumped infront of the Meramon and Minotaurmon ready to use their bodies to sheild Astamon.
"Uh uh uh, dont do something we all will regret now. I know you bastards brought someone to try and ambush, I suggest they stop hiding and reveal themselves. If you do that I will be kind of generous. If not I will just lay waste to this whole place, on second thought that sounds like much more fun than waiting. You two use the gift I bestowed upon you." Astamon ordered the two machines.
" R O G E R, INITIATING FORCED EVOLUTION"
"Man I am gonna have to talk to the boss about changing that name."
And just like that, the two machines took out a vial holding some sort of weird juice. And after consuming it, began to glow with a violent red aura, the two screamed in agony but luckily it did not take long for them to change form and become Assaultmons. The two new ultimate digimon began to shoot wildly hoping to destroy everything around them, the Meramon and Minotaurmon tried to attack then but it did not even phase them.
"This is bad Cion, we need to come up with a plan, if the two of us can survive this hell storm of bullets, a single stray one can seriously damage Kazuya and even Kill him. Please take charge and I will follow you, we need to hurry up." Roy exclaimed as ths situation took the worst possible turn.

Nodding approvingly, Cion allowed Sir Royland to perform his deed before following Kazuya to the designated cranny. It was not usually the fine lady's style to stay within the shadows and ambush those she opposed, but considering the fiends of noteworthy power that were bound to be their enemies it was a viable tactic - especially when keeping the thus far inhibited might of her most faithful lieutenant in mind. That was not meant as an insult, nor was she looking down at him. It was merely a statement of fact. And if his apex had been an Examon, a Mega, then there was still tremendous potential to be unleashed in his existence. Perhaps today was destined to be another step towards ascension. Regardless, the trio had an important mission to fulfill to increase universal commonweal by thwarting a very dangerous ploy. Eventually, their prey arrived, though in a different way than expected. The concept of portals of darkness that transferred vile souls to wherever they pleased was aggravating yet nothing new to the vulpine sentinel. Nevertheless, it was an impressive feat, causing her to keep her guard while listening to the asininely flamboyant Astamon who was accompanied by a duo of Guardmon. Sluggish guards... And the WereGarurumon done goofed! Certainly the restrained Arniomon had anticipated this outcome, but it was quite disheartening anyway - mostly because it must be a frustrating blow to her cherished companions. To her it was a matter of course that criminal savages were incapable of accomplishing even the easiest assignments; their daunting incompetence being one of the many reasons why she savored defragmenting puny evildoers with glee. Speaking of which, neither her feline friend nor his human partner had answered her previous question. Well then... a rum start, right? As drumfire vanquished the silent tranquility of the glade, her gaze lingered on the chivalric knight who was extremely concerned. It was with her typical, calm poise that Cion smiled at him. Gently touching the top of his left paw, she gave him a reassuring thumbs up before motioning the frail, young man to lie low as close as possible to the grassy ground. For as long as material was in the way, the lad was safe from the bullets. With streams of protective data enveiling herself and her heroic paladin, the time had come for her to do as requested. Ten seconds was all she needed for an adequate setup. Like a silver bolt of lightning, the small fennec appeared a dozen meters away from the felons and thugs, her relaxed stance and unyielding composure easily comprehensible. "You hold the vicious wolf hostage as leverage - irrational." The unassumingly supreme beast belittled the group of transgressors. With the volley of tiny projectiles likely aimed at her, it became painfully obvious that they were completely unable to pierce the barrier she had conjured for herself and her hidden ally. Comparatively, it was as if two Rookies attempted to penetrate the empowered defense of a Perfect. The scene at hand was... almost absurd. Without shifting her legs and feet in the slightest, the leader of a soon to be renowned project raised her right arm and zeroed in on the general direction of the wooden shack. For the blink of an eye, her aureate irises swayed over to the Minotaurmon, Meramon and their boss. Hopefully, she had made it perfectly clear that divided loyalties was not countenanced by her. They might be destroyed by the demon and his pawns, but the paragon assured the certainty of her righteous relentlessness. Their current incarnations were of no concern to her, but likely to them. "Nectar of the gods... abysmal. You toy with forces beyond your ken - no more." Cion stated firmly as she demonstrated a minuscule fraction of what they so desperately longed for, divinity, in spite of their lack of dedication and personal sacrifice. Mindless, just as well as their agonizing concoction. Harrumphing, her fervent volition manifested itself as three large, ethereal javelins of primordial energy that levitated motionlessly in the sky, warping the very fabric of reality. With a mere nudge of her finger they were hurled with inconceivable speed at the discourteous nightmare soldier and his frenzied wardens. When the group that were hiding behind the trees finally made their reveal thanks to an ability Cion possesed, the group where sheilded by Cion and Roy managed to walk out of the tree and following Cion. The lion was shocked to see the weird look on the eyes of the two metal centaurs shooting bullets wildly while their seem devoid of sanity. This managed to confuse the experienced knight, but his attention was shifted the whole hostage situation, it was indeed due to the mistake the wolf did, but the lion could not help to feel a little sympathy towards him. He was ready to pounce on his enemy after following Cion's attack, but somethig came up throwing a wrench on his plans.
The Meramon and Minotaurmon reached the ultimate point of despair and fear, in that state they made an irrational plan and decided to rush to the mad machines. But the difference in power can not be understated, the two were overpowered and in mere moments their bodies were filled with holes destroying their bodies and ripping their data to shreds. "AAAAAAAAAAGH" the horrific cry of pain was a sharp sound that installed a sense of existential fear in Kazuya, as the man could not believe his eyes, in mere seconds to living beings were no more, and as the weregarurumon struggled to escape the grip of Astamon, all of his efforts ended up being fruitless as one simple motion of his hands made the wolf go unconscious.
"Hahahahaha, beautiful the sweet cleansing juice not even the gods themselves can resisit. Truly the tool that will turn our digital world into heaven, but we can't rush perfection I have places to be right now. I would love to stay and play with you little miss, but maybe another day. Ciao" as the Astamon a portal opened behind his back, the digimon then jumped into it taking the wolf with him, the two disappeared, they are now far away from the eastern section of the digital world in general.
The two machine digimon then growled at Roy and Cion as they began to ready to fire more bullets at them, but in that moment Roy felt a burning rage, anger towards how easy they could take lives, angry at the way Astamon casted the two machine digimon aside and left them behind. And all of that rage turned to determination to be stronger, a determination to stop people like Astamon. And that connected with the digimental and allow it to be infused with enough power to initiate the armor evolution, Kazuya immediately knew what is up and followed the steps he did last time now instead of the regular lion, Roy's new form was revealed, that of a Grapleomon.
The buff lion man turned towards Cion and said. "So this the power of my new armor form, I like it. anyways we need to take care of this quickly, you take the one on the left I will take the one on the right." He said as he began to charge at his enemies, deflecting any incoming bullet with his spinning turbines.

A bothersome sense of minor chagrin overcame the restrained Arniomon due to multiple reasons that struck her as disreputable. First was her deeply treasured friend's lack of tactical conduct, which was especially surprising given the extensive preparations they had made for their ambush. Did Sir Royland not desire to attain a swift and effective victory? What caused him to conclude that merely following her was the best approach? Ultimately, it was a wasted opportunity and she would let him be aware of that betimes, but during combat disputes among allies had to be brushed off, hence she did not voice her opinion. Second, while Cion had the displeasing realization that the Astamon was not much different than the typical villains she had encountered throughout her existence, the actions of the WereGarurumon's minions managed to fill her with diffident annoyance. The criminals' fatuousness was simply boundless, was it not? Not affected in the slightest by their in vain, irrational sacrifice, she almost rolled her eyes as a reaction to their astounding exploit. At least, as a partial optimist, they did not have to bother themselves with the underlings anymore. Hopefully they'd find and cherish goodwill in Rosewood once they were purified of their former selves. Lastly, after the demon's typically pseudo-benevolent speech, he and his hostage just disappeared through a dark portal. That was both unfavorable and highly anticlimactic. "Seems like ASCENSION has direct opposition." She speculated calmly as aureate irises shifted to the completely frenzied Assaultmons - a shameful waste of talent and life. Not feeling any ire, it was her feline partner's aura of rage that surprised her. It appeared he utilized fury, its origin she did not comprehend, to push himself beyond his limits and digivolve to a higher state of being. GrapLeomon... a digimon of the Perfect level and a decent step on his road to absolute chivalric mastery and exemplariness. Somewhat charmed, if not amused by Roy's newfound cheerfulness, Cion decided to oblige him and accept his command - partially. Although dancing around her target as if she was an incomprehensibly swift and nimble silver bolt of lightning, her gaze lingered on the mighty lion. His potential intrigued her greatly. If Royland should have stopped and thought about his course of actions, he would have seen how flawed it was. But at that moment before his evolution the lion knight was moved by fear and dread, the massive oppressive aura exuded by Astamon was now no more. But now due to two things, first was the escape of Astamon and second Roy's new found strength and courage the little lion knight was now more proud of himself and his strength.
And as the battlle continued Roy was easily able to block and dodge all of the incoming bullets with the armor on his armor, and in mere seconds Roy managed to find himself near the digimon, and found himself in a hand lock with the machine centaur. The two struggled as both digimon growled, Royland however managed to over power his opponent and he then broke both his arms, and that made the machine scream in pain.
"Take that, I can't forgive you guys, you think the world is your playground. Find peace through conquest ? Foolish utterly foolish, I will show you the error of your ways and knock you out of your daze. And now witness the storm of my will I will put you down, with my ultimate attack, Stormy barrage!!" Royland cocked his fists and leaned back in prepation for his attack.
The lion then began to punch the machine digimon repeatedly, and the weight of every punch got heavier and heavier. As the faster the punches got the machine found himself being lifted off the ground, and by the end of the barrage the machine found himself fully in the air, and then the final punch sent the digimon flying towards several trees. The grapleomon stood victorious over his enemy in record time, Royland adrenaline rush helped him surpass his limits.
Back to the one with Cion the machine digimon was simply unable to keep up with her, struck by her lightning, the digimon's body began to stiff up. In an a desperate attempt to gain the upper hand, the digimon began to overheat his own body to go faster and follow cion movement, the machine then turned his hand to a cannon and got ready to shoot a giant blast at Cion.

Truth be told, Cion had no interest in actually paying her opponent any attention. Not only was the outcome obvious due to their difference in power, hence combat was a waste of time, but her dearly treasured friend and ally Sir Royland was far more intriguing to behold. It was always fascinating to witness younglings tear through their limitations and attain mastery over their own being, both mind and body, by means of hardships. Though not comprehending whence the icy feline's fury originated, his performance was still an impressive display of skill and might for a Perfect. The speech that followed after the clash with his adversary was a bit bland and it clearly fell on deaf ears, but ultimately it was the intention and radiant heart behind it which counted the most. Regardless, Roy was right. Conquest never begets true, lasting peace - history had proven that an uncountable number of times. Hopefully, she as the leader of ASCENSION would, under no circumstances, repeat the mistakes of the past. Even comparable sentiments had to be denounced immediately. Although wielding great sway, what she truly sought was harmony and prosperity in everyone and everything. Preeminence was irrelevant, albeit it was sometimes a useful tool. With her focus returning to the struggle at hand, the restrained Arniomon enjoyed the spectacle that was the GrapLeomon repeatedly punching the Assaultmon towards kingdom come. It was a crude form of entertainment, but savoring the punishment of villains was one of the few joys that enabled her to remain steadfast. Naturally, she did so clandestinely. But by golly was the final smash rad. Not necessarily a chivalric way to perform martial arts, but it was certainly effective. And that victory pose of the comely, majestic lion... quite appealing indeed... "Huh? Oh yes - I've forgotten about you." Cion commented quietly as she ceased dashing around the quadrupedal, no longer being the silver flash that had completely ignored the cyborg's presence. With a large cannon's barrel aimed straight at her, the tiny fennec's expression barely shifted before a massive blast exploded on impact with her frame. A booming echo triumphed over the typical tranquility that lingered within this glade. Smolders and sparks of gunfire drifted away eventually, revealing the ancient ascendant to be altogether healthy. In fact, there was not a single scratch, nor a singed hair, on her as a faint yet thick veil of iridescence engulfed nearly the entirety of her core's vulpine vessel. Evidently it was a shield conjured by her. Not moving an inch, her aureate eyes often traversed from her companion to the malcontent and back. "What unbecoming behavior. Dear, would you kindly show this churl the corollary of not behaving properly in the presence of a gentlewoman? I'd be both very thankful and gawping."
