The sound was nothing short of deafening, and the ensuing blast was a blinding one. When it cleared, the three pursuing them were naught but whatever composed them. They were far from out of these woods, however. Mae kicked off towards the left in order to avoid the attack by the king, before she quickly formulated a plan. They had to stab him with a needle, but...they needed to get to him. So they had to get rid of the remaining ultimates. "Alright, my turn. Syre, I'm gonna need you to help me get rid of those ultimates. We're likely only going to fare well if we can get him alone and I can melt through his...rocky bits." The Meicrackmon stated, an ominous air starting to flow about her as four separate shnnk noises were heard, and Mae's claws on both her hands and feet were coated in red. Vicious Mode. She was sure the kid wouldn't be harmed. If there was a smidge of humanity left in that Magnamon, he wouldn't hurt his partner, right? Either way. Act quick. The cat throw an arm forward as she converted that arm into a mass of tendrils that all fired energy bullets towards one of the WereGarurumon! Hopefully that gets their attention towards her!
Relevant Passives: Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess. As such, Mae has the ability to divine a potentially infinite number of futures, depending on the level she's at. There are, however, limits to her foresight. For one, the lower the level, the more muddied, limited, and opaque the visions will be. The higher, the clearer. Furthermore, in combat, this is only really applicable as a way to warn herself and others of various attacks. Whether she can dodge them or not even with this is entirely on her. Should she successfully dodge an attack she had a vision of, the chances she can dodge the next one are lower. Basically she can’t spam this unless she wants the hurt.
Gotta Let it Out: Meicrackmon Vicious Mode fights with a blistering anger that builds up over time, gaining one each time she is struck or strikes someone. While this does dull a great many things, including morality, and the ability to tell from friend and foe past two stacks, this does increase her attack power by a good 10% for each stack. 4 stack limit. Mae loses a stack every turn she goes without hitting something or being struck by something.
Born In The Abyss: This passive allows Meicrackmon VM to heal 7.5% every time she lands with an attack. She has the option to increase a cooldown by 1 if the move it belongs to impacts an enemy, in exchange for an additional 2.5% heal.
Cast in Digizoid: You see those claws on Meicrackmon? They’re already really strong on their own, but what matters is they’re composed of Red Digizoid, and are laced with a venom that is most certainly the same type found in Meicoomon’s Data Crusher. Every three posts, Meicrackmon VM can ‘activate’ the claws and cause her next melee attack inflicted with the claws to be twice as powerful.
Mae slide evolves into Meicrackmon Vicious Mode and opens fire on a WereGarurumon with... Spider Shooter: Meicrackmon’s hands turn into tendrils that in turn form twin gattling guns before she fires destructive energy bullets towards her foe, yet these are strangely more caustic in nature than in her regular Meicrackmon form, eating away at the data structure of whatever they find purchase in. Two post cooldown. Small Beacon Count: 2 Cooldowns: Spider Shooter: 0/2

The magnamon-x found itself in an odd place, having to defend the nest from these powerful intruders. Protecting it's 'tamer' and making sure it's subjects were... well okay. As of the moment it had two, well three subjects within range that it could rely on in a sense. Gritting it's teeth it'd stalk forward, watching syre avoid it's fire. It seemed somewhat irritated at this fact. But the sistermon wasn't doing anything right now, which warranted inaction in a sense. They attacked it's people, attacked the ones it chose. Chose to bestow this gift to, it killed three of it's people and they thought to run? Anger flashed across it's face and the magnamon dashed forward with an incredible speed raising it's fist to punch syre almost directly in her chest. If it hit, the sistermon would feel that crystaline burn almost immediately. Those two garu? The one without a second arm and the mostly 'fine' one that was the target of Mae's attack? Well she'd find that the one without a spare arm slid in front of the other it's sword flashing brightly in the daylight. As it cut through an impressive swath of those energy bullets. Deflecting some and stopping others. Ultimately however it was broken somewhat apart. Falling in front of it's brother without much pause, gaping holes in it's chest and head. The 'remaining' guard knelt down, placing a hand on the other's chest while the tamer huddled behind them in fear. The mostly broken weregarurumon vanished after a moment and the other gained a few notable attributes. A third arm arching around from it's back holding a second sword. A second pair of ears and a few more layers of armor. It wasn't quite another digivolution per say... But it was damn close to reaching the next stage, especially with the now noticeable data signal wafting off of them. It was no where near the same power as the king that was currently chasing after syre, but it was still a powerful threat. Log: -One last weregarurumon remains, it absorbed it's companion using Siphon-The king attempts to hit Syre with Crystal Gauntlets!-The tamer is frightened. Move: Crystal Gauntlets: This digimon punches a digimon with it's gauntlets, infecting them with the crystal and dealing a high pinpoint level of damage. One post cool down.
-
Siphon: If another CrystalWereGarurumon is undergoing the effects of 'Crack' they may siphon the energy in an attempt to keep it from going to waste. If two or more are siphoned the CrystalGarurumon can attempt to digivolve.
Passives: King of the Crystal Forest: As long as this digimon is within the crystal forest it is much more powerful than any of it's counterparts. In speed, power and even durability this digimon reigns supreme within it's 'land'.
Weakpoints: This digimon's shear is impressive but like every rock it has a weakness. Striking at certain lengths of it's body deals bonus damage to it and shearing through these areas damages it immensely. AOE effects do not gain bonus damage if striking this digimon.
-
Crystal Body: Unlike it's predecessor this particular CrystalWereGarurumon is much tougher because of it's make. It's thicker rocky substance makes it take less damage from physical attacks but makes it slower as a result. Energy based attacks deal slightly more damage.
Mindless: This digimon has no free will of it's own and obeys whatever orders it's master has. It is unable to think freely and must be taught step by step of what it should do given a situation. because of this, mind affecting moves have no effect.
Crack: Upon receiving damage this digimon bleeds energy rapidly; destabilizing it slowly. Upon loss of all of it's energy this individual ceases to move.
King's Cooldowns: Crystal inferno: [1/3] Crystal Gauntlet: [0/1]

Syre could already feel the heat on her back as her cloak vanished in that veil of flame, gritting her teeth as she tried to keep her focus. Right now, she... well, she just couldn't bring her weapon up, not with that child suffering in the background. Just how did this situation come to be, how could she overcome it, why was it so screwed up?!
Her thoughts and hesitation allowed the dragon to see a clear path to the gunslinger, Syre's eyes widening as he approached. It was far beyond what she could reasonably evade, so in that moment of desperation, she instead met the threat head-on.
Dropping her right pistol, she took one of her two remaining Anti-Crystal Doses in her right hand, and with a step in, she'd stab forward, as if with a knife, aiming to drive it right into the Magnamon's exposed stomach. This, of course, left that gauntlet on track right to her ribs, and whether or not she would manage to inject the dragon, she'd be struck.
The Sistermon flew back, landing harshly on her side, the ceramic of her body cracking fiercely with that head-on blow. Her clothes flickered with flame, the ultimate level struggling to get on her feet as she tried to stifle those flames.
Damn it... damn it, Syre! Get... get a hold of yourself!
No matter what she thought, though, it wasn't that easy to get up right now.
Syre uses an Anti-Crystal Dose in an attempt to stab the Magnamon as he strikes her chest. Her body cracks on impact. Remaining: Small Beacon: 2 Large Beacon: 1 ACD: 1

Well, one WereGarurumon was taken out of the picture, its companion going to absorb it quickly while Syre herself made her move...After the king had closed in and assaulted her head on. All things considered, this was pretty bad. But it could be worse. Mae had to try her best to ensure things didn't get worse. It was honestly kind of impressive how quickly the sword-wielding wolf leapt in front of her target and ended up suffering for it. And the remaining one? Why, it became something...a little more than it once was. Three arms? More armor? Yeesh, that was a lot to behold. It wasn't the biggest threat in the room, though. That was the king. Mae had an idea on how to proceed here, and two lures appeared next to her before they became identical Meicrackmon. One dashed for the tri-armed WereGarurumon, trying to throw itself at him before detonating in a fiery explosion. The other? Well, it went with Mae, dashing for the King before the true Meicrackmon darted to one side and the clone to another. The latter? Well, it went to attempt throwing itself at the king, trying to grab it before detonating to try getting him away from Syre.

Tink. The sound of the syringe piercing the king's outer shell was something that intially could worry. But as the anti crystal dose was injected into the Magnamon-x some immediate changes could be noted. The skin of his midsection was slowly turned back to normal, even edging into the armor of his upper and lower body. But it simply halted there. The king snarled in agitation and brought a hand to it's stomach, yanking out the syringe and looking at it with a somewhat confused expression for a moment. A rather annoying fact presented itself after a moment however. The single dose was simply not enough to overwrite the sheer amount of crystalization this mega had undergone. How many would it take? Would it even cleanse it completely or would it undergo further transformation? The king growled and stepped forward, looking to continue it's fight with the Sistermon. However the Weregarumon let out a surprised sound as the Meicrackmon in front of them turned into a set of meicrackmons. The king's head swiveled and it's eyes narrowed at seeing this, why were the meicrackmon's trying to close in on them? Something didn't bode well for them. The weregarurumon drew back it's arm and launched a wave of crystals at the meicrackmon's, hoping to hit the right one in the few moments before the explosion. The king looked to try to do something with it's hand but then confusion spread onto it's face as nothing happened. The weregarurumon was quickly engulfed in the explosion, knocking it back and severely damaging two of it's arms. Cracks and energy sprouting up along it for the most part. The king had maybe a few moments before the meicrackmon's were well upon it. Though this didn't stop it from reacting quickly. It after all had closed the distance with syre in an impressive moment. A sword sprung into existence into one of it's hands, moments before the meicrackmon wrapped it's arms around him. The explosion that wracked the king was definitely powerful, well enough to deal with the standard weregarurumon's as they came. The king however? He was made of sterner stuff and all the explosion seemed to do was irritate him. It's armor was scuffed from the explosion and a few hairline fractures ran around the points that the meicrackmon had hugged about. It drew back it's sword and with a single bounding leap brought it's sword around to slash at the meicrackmon in front of it. Mae in this moment of course, would get a brief flash of a normal magnamon-x holding it's tamer looking dazed while being led by two very shadowy figures. The alternative visions that could of been provided in this moment were far less appealing. Service to a new crystalline master, accidentally loading one of the crystal mons... Or a bio-merge of the tamer and it's digimon. Log: -The weregarurumon has received 'medium' damage, it's arms are badly damaged. -The weregarurumon launched a wave of spines at mae. -Syre's efforts have proved fruitful. Two abilities 'Crystal spikes' and 'Crystal wall' have been locked! A single dose was powerful enough to even help cure a portion of the kings body. -There are still two ACD's that Quill had not used, they have been deposited into a 'collective' inventory until one of you claim it. -The king has sustained minor damage. -The king had attempted to use Crystal wall but was unable! -The king uses Crystal sword instead! -The king makes a basic attack with the sword at Mae. -The tamer is still frightened. Move: Crystal Sword: This digimon summons a large crystaline sword for it to use in combat. This deals a large amount of damage per swing and may be kept around until destroyed. This sword is capable of infecting large swaths of data at once. Three post cool down after the sword is destroyed.
-
Spines: Much like it's predecessor evolution this one also has spines it may launch. These are much heavier and stagger on hit reducing movement for a single post. Deals medium damage.
Passives: King of the Crystal Forest: As long as this digimon is within the crystal forest it is much more powerful than any of it's counterparts. In speed, power and even durability this digimon reigns supreme within it's 'land'.

It... it worked?
Despite being blown away by that powerful blast, Syre found slight pride in her actions. The needle landed, and the crystal was pulling away from its torso! Just a few more seconds, and, like the larger dragon, this Magnamon would be free of his curse-
Nope. No, it wasn't that simple - and as the battle raged on in the background, Syre curled up around herself, hands grasping carefully around her cracked frame. Like it or not, she was given a moment of reprieve, and she took stock of her condition:
Struck by a crystal move, and only two needles remaining. She grit her teeth, and stabbed one into her leg - which would give her ten minutes of immunity to that affliction. Past that, she tried to get up, only to find her body splinter further. She got hit bad - guard completely down, and desperate. There was no getting around it: her own fear caused her to rush it, and her rushing it caused her to get hurt.
But... what am I supposed to do?
Hearing those explosions off in the background, the Sistermon grit her teeth. This fight wasn't right - the kid wasn't right, this dragon wasn't right, this forest wasn't right. Nothing was okay... but if it was right, why is she here?
As that one thought set in her head, something 'clicked'. Immediately, the hesitation in Syre's expression left her, the Sistermon managing to stand despite her injuries. That's right, she wasn't here to wallow in her own remorse and complain about the world. She was there to fix it!
"Damn it... just hold on a little longer..." Muttering to herself, a powerful light erupted around Syre, as she brought everything she had to the surface. What happened next happened even a bit too fast for Syre - as she darted forth, not towards the Magnamon, but instead towards the kid that he was protecting. But it wasn't a Sistermon - a dark blur sped on by, arms outstretched to try and pluck the kid right on up into her arms.
Here, in this 11th hour...
Syre evolves to Kuzuhamon. ACD used.

This was incredibly chaotic. Though the two Meicrackmon were swiftly blown to bits, Mae herself was the only one that remained. That wave of spikes was aimed at an opponent that was getting farther and farther from the wolf. The spines sailed towards Mae before the Meicrackmon threw herself down to avoid them. She picked herself up, and...Was promptly faced with visions, visions and an angry monarch with a sword. Heading towards her, in fact. Mae needed to act quickly, and the myriad of visions she just received were the impetus required to get moving. The cat rolled right out of the way of the king, before she snarled. "Can't even get up close without risking turning into a husk." ...Up close. Well, she couldn't quite get up close, but she could...Yeah. Yeah, the Groundramon! Mae's arm twisted and coiled into a horrific approximation of a Groundramon's tail before she darted towards the King and aimed to slam the flail-like limb into him! And even if that didn't hit? Well, the hammer hitting the ground would most CERTAINLY leave a mark on something.

Mae uses a combination of frantic dodging and the Fatebreaker passive to avoid both attacks narrowly, before she retaliates with Megaton Hammer Crush, aimed for the king. Even if it misses? Well, it's going to cause a huge shockwave. Loaded Move - Megaton Hammer Crush - A powerful attack involving shifting Meicrackmon's claw into a horrific approximation of Groundramon's tail (something that makes it like a chain flail in nature) in order to smash an area with earthshaking force and destroying the land around it. The mere shockwave of the attack can damage those caught nearby, significantly slowing them for 2 turns. A direct hit while won't slow, not much is going to be moving after THAT kinda attack. The magnamon put a hand to it's chest, looking somewhat confused. It'd lean to inspect it's body, it's eyes widening a bit as it saw real actual flesh rather than the crystal that had quickly become the norm. The Digimon let out an angry snarl and would slowly stalk forward. But it wasn't ready for that light, bringing up a hand to shield itself from it expecting some kind of blinding attack it wasn't prepared for Syre dashing past it. The tamer on the other hand? Had maybe a few seconds before letting out a startled cry. The king whirled it's blade gripped in either hand and the weregarurumon that was supposed to be protecting the child seemed rather taken back. The king shook it's head rapidly and moved to meet that strike of Mae's with one of it's own! But something was clearly wrong and off with the way that he went about it. The sword itself simply broke apart under the powerful attack. The the limb found itself easily hitting the king after that and was immediately slammed into the ground from the sheer force. A small fountain of crystal blood erupted from it's mouth as mae certainly hit something vital to the mon. One hand clutched at it's chest with a groan, while the other waved that broken blade at the Meicrackmon. The last remaining crystal mon seemed hesitant to do anything in regards to this new mega in front of him. So much so it'd take a single step back away from Syre, fear plain in it's eyes. It's gaze would shift from the tamer, to syre and then back to the tamer again. There was an awkward long moment and the digimon simply dropped it's swords, putting up it's three hands in the universal sign of surrender. A shake of it's head and if allowed would back away from syre. With it's companions gone and it's king now on the floor thanks to Mae? It'd rather live than be destroyed. Log: -The king attempted to use Crystal slice to block mae's attack, but due to the earlier ACD it's strength is considerably less than what a mega should have! -The king is now on the ground, heavily damaged. Somewhat stunned from the hammer attack. -The last Crystal-Weregarurumon has surrendered -It should be noted that the move 'crystal slice' did not damage Mae directly. Infection has not occured and the blade was broken. -A weakpoint has been found! Somewhere on the chest is a groove that made Mae's strike much more powerful. Or perhaps blunt weapons are more effective? Passives: King of the Crystal Forest: As long as this digimon is within the crystal forest it is much more powerful than any of it's counterparts. In speed, power and even durability this digimon reigns supreme within it's 'land'.
Weakpoints: This digimon's shear is impressive but like every rock it has a weakness. Striking at certain lengths of it's body deals bonus damage to it and shearing through these areas damages it immensely. AOE effects do not gain bonus damage if striking this digimon

Syre did it.
With one surprising burst of speed and power, she managed to slip right by that crystallized dragon, and grasp her arms around that tamer. She immediately cradled her arms around that shrieking tamer, briefly turning her head around to watch the fight... not that she could really participate like this!
If only I could - hm?
Wait, what was that? Syre looked down, to spot a fox, about half of her size and made of a grayish fire, staring curiously back up at her with a tilted head. It took a moment, but the new mega realized her connection to this extension of data. She focused, reached deep down, and pointed her free hand towards the Magnamon:
"Go! My avatar!"
The fox's 'fur' bristled, immediately taking a vibrant blue color, as the specter dashed right towards the damaged Magnamon with a head-on rush! Unlike the foes that he could hit once and infect, this fox had no mass, but was instead a collection of spiritual fire - one that tried to jump and land directly into the dragon's chest.
As for Syre? Well, if this tamer either had a Digivice in his hand or on his belt, she'd try and take it - prying it off his fingers, if she had to - before attempting to crush it in her palm.
Syre uses 'Go, my Avatar!' to attack the Magnamon - and tries to steal and break a Digivice while she's there.
Go, My Avatar!
Instead of simply allowing her Avatar to passively siphon power off of her moves, Syre instead donates a portion of her energy to the Avatar itself, imbuing it heavily with the "Blue Flame" element. During this move's duration, the Avatar is unable to pick up another element, but is able to pursue a target within a range of five hundred meters, dealing direct slashing and 'blue fire' damage on successful strike. If significantly damaged, the Avatar must take a turn to reconstitute itself, via gathering its scattered flames back up into a single mass. Three Post Duration, Three Post Cooldown

Two things needed to be noted here. One, Syre turned into a freaky fox lady. Okay. That's actually alright. Neat. Fantastic. Second, Mae was actually shocked that the power behind the assimilated data of that Groundramon was enough to force the king back and onto the floor. It led to opportunity. Opportunity that she needed to exploit. Mae still had all three of her ACDs. She quickly pulled two out and surged for the fallen king, aiming to sink both of those doses in hand into whatever patch of flesh she could find and administer them. Hopefully before or after the empowered fox familiar that the Kuzuhamon was sporting slammed into the damned dragon.

Unable to move, the King was certainly an easy target for the newly formed mega and their ultimate companion. The last crystal mon awkwardly backing away from the larger mega. Gulping in nervousness. The tamer struggled in the grip of the larger digimon, crying out and reaching out towards their digimon. They weren't in their right mind that much was obvious.
She'd easily find that digivice, worn. Broken. Made mostly of crystal and warped data. It wasn't hard to break, but the results were beyond what one would expect. The digivice didn't just break. It turned into sand in the Kuzuhamon's hand.
The King, at this exact moment shuddered and brought a hand to it's head. The power that was it's digivice lost, that fox spirit speeding towards him. It was maybe two seconds before that fox spirit slammed home that the Meicrackmon would find the flesh easily. There was a large swath on it's chest after all.
One.
Two
The first injection didn't seem to do much, the gauntlets it sported cracked and fell apart. The sword it possessed broke apart and scattered into the small bit of wind that went through.
The second injection? Well. That found some purchase. The king's hands convulsed and in a moment they were flesh again. That luster the king possessed before darkening a bit.
Then the next change that occured was beyond anything that the two could expect. The rest of the crystal that was covering the digimon's body pulsed once and simply exploded outwards in a puff of sandy crystal mess. But that wasn't all.
That. Simply was the start.
The forest itself, weened into the crystal of the king. Slowly started to change, the eggs that were planted in the ground by that swanmon slowly shifted to be proper eggs. The swanmon itself falling over as the crystal that had been taking it's body faded away.
It wasn't rapid but the forest itself seemed to almost start to recover from the king's influence. As though he being cured forced the place to start shifting back to a more natural state.
The only glaring crystal that wasn't shifting back was the single weregarurumon. Standing there in a somewhat dazed fashion as it's king was now gone and simply being reverted back to how it was.
The magnamon-x simply laid there, a dazed expression on his 'face'. The tamer pulling harder at syre, trying to get out of her hands to get to it's digimon. Though the latter finally talked, it's voice hoarse, gritty and deep. It's power was still there and even with the damage from earlier it seemed to be mostly fine.
"W...what... happened...?"
Far off, somewhere distant. A massive roar of relief could be heard. Much like that of the huanglongmon that the group had stumbled into earlier sounded like...
Log: -The tamer struggles in syre's grasp -The crystal king took the damage intended for it by syre however.. -The two ACDs that were injected into him cured him of his crystal state shortly after. -The single ability that needed to be locked away was King of the crystal forest -The forest, eggs, and swanmon are all now recovering as the corrupting influence of it's king is no longer present. -The tamer's digivice is broken but with the residual energies of the place, the Magnamon-x has not de-digivolved yet. -The passive 'king of the forest' is in place. It matches it's crystaline counterpart to a T save the requirement of a normal forest. -Combat is officially over.

The Avatar connected with the Magnamon's body.
The Digivice shattered in Syre's hand.
With that simultaneous act - the Kuzuhamon largely turned away from the fight otherwise, to shield the young tamer - the forest almost exploded outwards in a burst of greenery and life. The dark and foreboding sense that surrounded them was gone in an instant, so much that it caused the mega to stumble and think something else was about to happen! Holding tight onto that child, it took a moment for Syre to acclimate to what had just happened.
... And even then, she could hardly believe it. The crystal was just gone, as if vanished without a trace. Was the Digivice - now nothing more than a bit of sand in her palm - really that integral to it all? Keeping that struggling kid in her arms, the fox gave a reply: "Don't worry, it's all right now... Mae!"
The fox called over to her partner. "Can you pick up that Magnamon? We should get back to Chalice and get these two some medical attention. And, um..." Her tone turned a bit sheepish.
"Thanks... for covering my ass out here."

Whatever was within these doses did their work, alright. The syringes hitting the Magnamon came about two seconds before the familiar slammed into it like a derailed train. And when all was said and done, the forest itself became...cured, to put it lightly. The crystalline plague that befell it was overtaken gradually by the flora reclaiming their place.
As combat subsided, so too did the bloodlust that Vicious Mode brought to the surface for Mae. Her claws rescinded, the darkened aura around her fading with the adrenaline. "Yeah...?" She looked to Syre, exhaustion painted allover the Meicrackmon's face. Tired as she was, she should be capable of carrying this...
The Meicrackmon went to sling the Magnamon over her shoulder before she paused. Did...she hear that right? Being thanked for her help? "...I should be thanking you. You helped cover mine too." ...Compliments weren't really Mae's strong suit, but she was trying. Either way, she grabbed the Magnamon and began the long haul back to Chalice.

Honestly the fact that all of this worked so well for the two was a surprise, they had gone into the lair of the beast with what some would consider so little or simply not enough and did the best they could. The sort of best that worked it's way into saving the forest in it's entirety.
But there were still things that needed to be addressed, problems that were still blaring in their faces. The lone crystal weregarurumon looked lost, unsure. Like it didn't have a purpose. Though it seemed to be trying to follow the two of them as they were carrying it's former king.
The child was still pulling and struggling to get to their partner. Reaching out, crying softly into the pauldron that syre now possessed. They seemed happy, sad and just exhausted. The mangamon didn't get an answer from either of them, but being too tired to really care he just simply laid on the meicrackmon's shoulder.
"...."
The trek back was simple enough, the walk wasn't the harshest since there was no longer odd eyes watching them here or there. The birds from earlier were no longer huddled, flying around and enjoying their homes once more. The trees that had those horrid crystal growths mimicking mons were simply gone, likely digitized in their entirety.
Once the duo reached the base however it was a much different scene than when they arrived. The huanglongmon was napping comfortably outside of the walls. A gaggle of andromon inspecting it, taking readings and some were working on a wall. Babbling at one another in fast paced speech that only other droid like digimon could likely keep up with.
Sitting on the wall was of course chalice and her ward X-003. The latter seemed to be directing something from within while chalice was just lazily going over some stuff on a holo-pad of sorts. Though once she noticed the approaching group her brow would furrow and she'd slide down the side of the wall.
"Is that what I think it is? Wait. Is that one of the garu's?
"A magnamon? I thought you said it was likely to be a weregarurumon."
"Well I didn't do work on anything else, that's all I was provided! Err... Did the human have any crystal growths on them?"

"Y-yeah..."
Syre's voice sounded distant when returning her words to Mae, but who could blame her? She was emotionally drained, damaged, tired, and only just now knew that she could turn into her mega form. The child was easy enough to keep in the Kuzuhamon's grip - and as that crystal remnant decided to follow them, Syre gave a sigh. If it tried anything, a good blast of her pistol would keep it at bay.
But it never came to that. They arrived back at the camp, Syre smiling as she saw the dragon being tended to by the machines. And as they came back to Chalice and X-003 - the Mastemon and the Machinedramon - Syre responded tersely to their questions.
"No growths that I can tell. Honestly... I don't know exactly what happened. When I broke this kid's Digivice, the crystal stuff just vanished on the spot. As it is for now, though..."
Syre sounded tired. She'd pass the tamer off to someone in the camp better able to look after him, as the fox's body gave a pulse, reverting to that of a BlackGatomon.
"... Yeah, yeah, I'm feeling this tomorrow." She wasn't severely damaged, but the wince was clear on her face!
