For Tsukiko, it seemed like, just as herself, Mao had been through a lot of stuff. Very dangerous, especially. It was almost like she was, in fact, a video game character and someone who enjoyed making her suffer was writing her story. Huh.
“Well, Tiny can be powerful!” Ramma moved his head to the side, looking a bit indignant. “See? That’s some proof right there!” He said, pointing at the hole made in the cage.
“Amazing.” Tsukiko blinked a couple of times, looking at the result of what just had happened. “I think we both can.” It wasn’t roomy, but the exit has big enough for her to go crawling through it with little to no trouble. After a couple of seconds, Tsukiko and Ramma (who didn’t have to crawl, of course) were outside.
“Come on, Mao~Ru!” Ramma conveyed for her to come out. “Yes, let’s go, Mao~Ru.” Tsukiko let go a chuckle.
“Yes. Let’s get moving.” Mitsuharu took a couple of steps up front, to then start walking through the bridge. In all honesty, it was a little… wobbly. In order, Pike, Kissu, and then Vemmon, followed.
“I wonder what’s that purple thing down there.” It didn’t look like something that was not harmful, that much was clear for Pike.
“I’d rather not finding out.” Mitsuharu kept leading the way, a hand on his blade, as usually. Suddenly, and seemingly out of nowhere, the boards at the start of the bridge started falling into the moat, leaving a boardless bridge on that area. And what was worse, the boards kept falling and were coming their way. The sound of the falling pieces of wood splashing into the liquid below them made the group turn and notice this phenomenon. They would have to make it quickly to the other side.
“Run!”

"...Evidently." Mao stated, after a good few seconds passed with her simply staring towards the hole that had been torn through the cage. Huh...Was she capable of something similar at that level? Hell, what -could- Vemmon's spirit turn into at that time? No matter what, though. The proof was there and able to be crawled through.
Excellent for all three people involved. Mao waited for Tsu and Ramma to escape before she got to crawling through, herself. It wasn't that much more roomy for her considering she was...actually a pretty lean girl, but she was able to make it through, smoothing her pharaoh outfit once on the other side. "R-Right...Where to from here, though?"
Vemmon followed the crew, last. He was pretty sure that was considered 'correct' to do...Yet at the same time, he was uncertain. "I'm going to assume it's either poison, acid, or some freaky combination of both." The alien replied to Pike as he continued walking. Until.
He heard splashing. A quick jerk of the head back and he saw the boards falling. Rather than blink...The alien broke out into a sprint, grabbing Kissu's hand if need be (the elderly were slow!) on the way to the other side!
Here's hoping the group can cut it close!

Once Mao was at the other side, Tsukiko turned her gaze towards the only door that could be spotted around. “Let’s go!” She exclaimed, pointing her index finger at the exit. Surprisingly, this door was not closed, it only led them to a small room with… two other doors to their sides. Crossing her arms, Tsukiko just stared at one of the doors, to then shift her gaze at the other one. One of them was of an intense wine-red color, while the other one was of a deep sea blue tonality. “What should we do? “She asked her partners in this adventure. Ramma shrugged. It was obvious he was only there to do the punching. “Which door should we take, Mao~Ru? Or maybe… We should split?” She asked.
Vemmon would probably be surprised upon seeing that, even when she didn’t seem to need it, Kissu would still grab his hand. Only to… throw him with great strength into the distance, proving that she still had a lot of strength in her, despite being old. Of course, the throw was intending to get him to the other side of the bridge and out of danger. With a burst of speed that was almost impossible to catch by the normal eye, Pike moved from the center of the bridge to the entrance of the castle, leaving the crumbling structure behind, and holding Mitsuharu under his right arm. Even when not bestowing something as amazing as Pike’s speed, Kissu managed to get there too without much trouble, before the bridge fell. “T-Thank you.” Mitsuharu had his eyes wide open, looking at the Thunderballmon. “That was… incredibly fast.”
Without giving Pike the chance to boast about it, the sound of clapping caught everyone’s attention. If they went through the arc that would take them to the insides of the castle, they would find out the clapping came from a small digimon wearing a coat, sitting on a throne. He was very far from them. There was an enormous hall between them and their enemy, and his throne was in a platform, many meters above the level of the ground. Getting there wouldn’t be easy. However, this was the guy they saw on the broadcast, no doubt. “I can’t believe it! The mighty heroes had finally reached the final stage of the game to save the princesses!” He seemed very excited about all of this, just like he did on the broadcast. “It’s… marvelous!”“It’s over, whoever you are. Give our partners back!” Pike pointed at the enemy, standing up above. The Ashikagas took a fighting stance. The coated digimon stared at the ‘heroes’. “Are you insane!? That’s preposterous! I can’t do that!” He waved a couple of small metallic arms into the sky, that barely escaped his coat. “Not until…” A grin shined from inside his coat. “… You beat THEM.”Slowly, two digimon started to materialize, their data forming out of thin air. One of them was truly gigantic. Its length covered almost the whole hall. It had huge wings and a serpent-like body. It was from a red bright color and had huge teeth. “T-That’s… the biggest I’ve ever seen.” Kissu confessed. It was massive. At its side, another huge creature appeared. It had a machine-like body and from a dark-blue color. It seemed like some sort of giant robot with a horn and machineguns. “Please, give a warm welcome to…"
"... The final bosses."

Mao felt like she was never gonna get used to being called Mao~Ru no matter how many times Ramma or Tsu called her that. But, that was alright. The group had come to a fork in the road, and Mao was...actually pretty contemplative on where to go from here. "We can't split up. What if we end up getting caught? What then?" With that in mind...She had the mind to take the blue door, moving to open it in a jiffy.
Vemmon had not been anticipating that show of strength from Kissu. He then watched as everyone else made their way across with gusto--something that the alien thought was genuinely...impressive. He had been about to speak before the clapping cut him off. "...We should move." He stated before he ran towards the arc to find the culprit being...quite smug.
It was irritating.
"No. Really. Give them back. Give them back before I march over there and eat you." The alien snarled...And then. Then the digimon appeared. A Megidramon and a Bolgmon--or, as some referred to it, MetalKabuterimon. The former was definitely the bigger of the two--something that the others could likely take on without much difficulty.
The metal beetle was something he was going to deal with himself. Vemmon, deciding not to speak, simply raised a hand, took a running start towards Bolgmon, and opened fire, shooting a plasma bolt right at Bolgmon's center.
Meanwhile, the Megidramon--a nascent horror that really might have been best saved as a bonus boss, let out a howl as he raised his hands up, and slammed them into the ground before he shot forth a burst of white-hot flames straight from his mouth. It wasn't a torrent in the slightest. More a fireball that threatened to consume anything in it's path before it exploded.
And it shot right at the Ashikagas (and Bolt, but he's not actually part of the clan.)
What do they do?

Just when she opened the blue door, Mao would find a hall. It had a very child-like environment. There were stairs going everywhere and everything seemed made of colorful blocks. It was like they were in lego-land.
“It looks like a playroom for children.” Tsukiko looked everywhere while they slowly walked around the place. There were many doors, some of them at ground level, while others attached very high on the walls. Stairs lead to some of them, but others seemed completely inaccessible like they were just attached to the wall in the middle of nowhere. One of the doors definitely raised their attention. It was of bright golden color, and it was… attached to the ceiling, very high above. “Why is there a place like this inside a prison for princesses?”
Meanwhile, Pike stared at the door, thinking on how to get there. What should their next move be?
Before being hit by the plasma shot, a steel-like armor covered Bolgmon’s chest. When the contact happened, it didn’t seem to have done much damage to the giant metallic beetle. Instead, it raised both hands, to start shooting small energy bullets at Vemmon at high speed. It was very much like a machine gun shooting rounds. It would keep the shots coming, for as long as it could.
The Ashikagas split immediately, Kissu to the right, Mitsuharu to the left, trying to get out of the way of the blast of fire. However, the fire would fly everywhere, once the fireball hit the wall, with the shockwave throwing them even farther than what they had expected. The speed of that technique, as well as the strength it had impacted the wall with, had definitely been enough to prove this was their biggest threat so far, inside of this world. Right now, they were recovering from the attack, and they knew they were giving the dragon time to take the offensive again. That was probably not good.
Due to his amazing speed, Pike had managed to avoid the attack with not much trouble. Charging his right fist with electricity, he threw a jab, straight to the Megidramon’s head. "Take... this!" Would that work? Who knows, considering the strength these enemies seemed to have.

"...Hey, I don't wanna assume anyone's age or anything but...Maybe the culprit behind this is a child? He did seem kind of small. And not like how Ramma's small. I mean like...young. Ramma's just tiny and adorable." For a Perfect level, at the very least. "...It's probably for him." Mao's gaze wandered up towards the door, and she tapped her chin for a few moments. She could try throwing Pike up but...Where did the other ground-level doors lead? She moved to one to open it and check.
Vemmon had to move. Immediately. The alien scrambled to the left as the bullets ripped through the air. And holy hell, there were probably enough bullets to make a Meicrackmon jealous. Did that thing have armor? There had to be a weak spot somewhere...Vemmon made a sharp turn as he dissipated in a burst of purple energy, only to reappear on Bolgmon's opposite side, jumping at him in an attempt to grab onto him and start climbing the tank-like bug.
Megidramon, meanwhile, was focused on one thing right now. The only Digimon to actually immediately go on the offensive from the Ashikaga's side. Shockingly? He took the blow from Pike's fist, before the claw of the beast flew up to snatch Pike in it. If successful, Megidramon would seem to charge Pike up with energy and hurl him at...Kissu! He'd end up exploding upon contact with something, be it the ground or the old lady.
...If he even got caught, that is. Who knows?

What Mao was saying made perfect sense. “So you’re saying it might be a child digimon or something like that?” Now that Tsukiko thought about it, nothing said this digimon who was putting them through all of this was particularly strong!
“Hehe…” A slight blush appeared on Ramma’s cheeks (?) while he scratched the back of his head (?) “Mao~ru, now is not the time for t-“ He interrupted himself while he blinked a couple of times, staring at the girl while she walked towards one of the doors. Tsukiko decided to follow her human peer, only to discover the door seemed to lead to another room with no floor. It was like the door was attached to a high wall and… It didn’t take long for her to notice that the door was not leading to another room, it was the same room they were in!
The pink-haired girl stuck her hand inside of the open door, only to see it come out of an open door in the distance up above, to the other side of the room. It was like the doors were a portal to other doors inside the same hall.
“Oh my god that’s so freaky close that thing!” Tsukiko yelled, taking her hand back.
Kissu was barely able to jump out of the way of the slamming thunderball coming her way. The explosion sent her flying and slamming against a wall. It had definitely been a though hit.
“Kissu-Grandma!” Mitsuharu called for his partner, only to make sure she was okay. While she slowly stood up, a warm sensation covered Kissu's body.
“Electrical patch!” Pike declared, while a bolting green-colored electricity surrounded Kissu’s body, healing her wounds. The Thunderballmon was still on the ground after the impact.
“Oh…” The Babamon turned at Pike, who still seemed fairly injured from that shock. “So you can heal." She mustered a mischievous grin. "That’s… interesting”
Kissu knocked her staff against the ground twice. A healing field was deployed around Mitsuharu, Pike, and Vemmon. Maybe they still had a chance at winning this.
Vemmon, on his side, would find a red button on the upper back of Bolgmon. However, the metallic digimon would slam his backside against the ground with all of its might before the alien could reach it, trying to crush him. The monster would keep slamming his back against the structures to avoid the spirit from pushing that button. What could be the reason? Well, he would need to distract the final boss long enough to find out.
It was likely during all of this, Vemmon could listen to Mitsuharu’s voice, shouting at him not too far from where his battle was taking place.
“Listen! I think we need to reach the master of this game to stop these enemies!”
It was likely the samurai had realized these enemies were a tad strong that the ones they had previously faced. That without mentioning there were two of them this time.
Toc toc!: Kissu knocks her staff into the ground, raising a healing field that reaches up to three allies. At the end of each of their turns, the marked allies will recover 20% of their total health. This mark lasts for three turns. 3 posts duration. Can only be used once per thread.

That was entirely unexpected. Mao just stared at the open space that the door led to, and Tsukiko's hand as it appeared...above them. Okay, this gave her an idea. "...I have our way to get to the door we need to get to." She decided, stepping back and closing that door. "So, we need to find the door that's closest to the one we need to get to." With that, Mao started to move around and try -every- door she could.
The healing aura was going to be a good thing to have for Vemmon, as he had found a button that seemed to be a touchy spot for the Bolgmon seeing as he found himself between the metal beast and the structures. Feeling pain was a sensation he hadn't really felt in the longest time.
What a shame that he couldn't use that pain to become something more. He did hear Mitsuharu, though. And as the beetle went for another slam, Vemmon leapt off and ran towards the final boss. He just decided that a shot would be good to get his attention, and a shot he did fire, a bolt surging through the air.
Meanwhile, the Megidramon lunged for Mitsuharu, the body of the dragon glowing with the same energy that Pike did during his flight.
It was a pretty damn good opportunity to jump over the dragon, given he was going for what appeared to be a body slam.

His arms crossed, Ramma nodded confidently. "Mao~ru is super smart."
Meanwhile, Tsukiko started opening every door that was to their reach. Even if Mao's plan seemed effective, the fact that not all of the doors were reachable from the ground was very present too. However, the task seemed to be rather fruitful, since they found one door that seemed to be connected to another one up above that was attached to a giant block some meters away from the golden door. However, it was obvious that, if they entered, they would end up very high above, facing a pretty big fall. How to get to the golden door? Even if this door was much closer, it was still hanging in the air.
Tsukiko just stared at the door, trying to figure this out.
Vemmon would have to go up through a serpent-shaped road made of stone that circled around the giant hall, slowly heading towards the highest ground, where the coated digimon was sitting. It was just like one of those roads plagued with obstacles every video game had during a final boss battle. The biggest obstacle? The Bolgmon shooting huge energy spheres towards the Vemmon, destroying the structure he was running through, the walls, and threatening to eliminate the alien himself.
Some of the bolts of energy going towards Vemmon exploded mid-air after colliding with an electrical blast, coming from down below.
“I will be in charge of getting you up there!” Kissu yelled. Apparently, they would have to work as a team if Mao's spirit wanted to reach the mastermind behind all of this.
Mitsuharu took a leap to get out of the way of the gigantic dragon trying to slam him. With this same movement, he tried to fall over its back. Once there, he would hold his sword in a sideways frontal position, attempting to stab the Megidramon with it.
“Itto-ryu! Piercing Dragon!”
Maybe this could work?

Once they had found the door that led to the one that was some meters away from the golden one, Mao needed to actually come up with the next part of the plan. This was already really haphazard as it was. It was truly most unfortunate that it would only end up getting worse.
"Okay, so...I think I know how we proceed from here. One of us picks up Ramma, runs through that door, and then lets Ramma use them as a launchpad to get to the golden door. The one who didn't pick Ramma up has to catch the one who did. Um...Ramma, you have any abilities that can propel you far enough in the air to grab something and turn it?" Mao inquired, tapping her chin and pacing around the room. She could probably handle picking Ramma up and running through that door...Though then that'd leave Tsu with having to catch her.
Vemmon's mad dash was definitely not an easy one. Then again, easy was pretty subjective. This was difficult. Much like everything had been in life, and was now. He had a slight awareness of where the Bolgmon's fire was coming from, so he was able to dodge the blasts that weren't already handled by Kissu. His solution was to blink elsewhere whenever his vision turned yellow from the electricity. Slowly, but surely, he was making his way up. The healing was also doing it's work, keeping him alive.
This effort was straining, yes, but it was something.
Megidramon did indeed leave itself vulnerable, something Mitsuharu was more than capable of taking advantage of. His blade struck true, appearing to deal massive amounts of damage with how cleanly it pierced the scales of the beast, though it lead to the dragon suddenly beginning to thrash around, the area around it growing several degrees hotter. It seems another explosive move was imminent.

“Wait… you’re not kidding, right?” In a natural reaction, Tsukiko stepped back a little, her eyes wide open. “That’s crazy!” It was, but neither Ramma or herself had anything else in mind. The Mamemon giggled. “My brother is actually better with those types of abilities but… I think I can manage. Come on, Tsu~ru! It sounds easy!”
“It’s easy for you to say! You’re a digimon! You won’t get hurt. But… Mao…”
In the end, the pink-haired princess had no choice but to be convinced. The proof of this? Some minutes after some mental practice and preparation, the plan had been executed. Tsukiko opened the door, Mao ran and jumped through it, only to let Ramma free in the air. The small metallic digimon opened the palms of his hands to release some short explosions, that propelled him towards the door, just the small distance he needed. The height was important, and that made Tsukiko terrified something could happen to Mao. In the end, everything seemed to have worked just fine. She was able to catch the girl mid-air. The impact made both fall into the ground, but no serious damage taken. There, Tsukiko gave her glasses back to Mao.
Hanging from the knob of the door, Ramma used his weight to open the gate. What happened after that was just like the rest of the room… pretty strange.
The smile that had previously appeared on Mitsuharu’s face after seeing his technique was effective disappeared when the monster started moving erratically. The prompt movement made Mitsuharu slam the floor heavily.
Kissu, who was paying attention to Vemmon but also involved in Mitsuharu and Pike’s bout against the dragon, gave an order to Pike, who was getting ready to attack. “Stop! That won’t work! Just… keep healing him! I need to go help the Vemmon. But trust me!” Said and done, the Babamon started following the path up, running behind the alien and still trying to protect him from Bolgmon’s rounds.
After hesitating for some seconds, Pike decided to abide and pointed at Mitsuharu with both hands. “Electrical patch.”
Feeling refreshed by the healing, Mitsuharu started running from Megidramon as much as he could. “We need to gain some distance.” He said to Pike. The duo was definitely not well prepared for the dragon’s explosive technique, but they were trying to minimize the damage as much as they could. In the end, they didn’t have much of a choice but to trust Kissu.
Meanwhile, the spirit and the Babamon kept moving upwards, dodging the Bolgmon's offensive. Just before they reached the peak of the serpent-like path, Kissu yelled, behind Vemmon. “My job here is done. I needed to take you to the higher platform and I did.” The noise of Bolgmon’s round made the communication a bit difficult, and Kissu spoke while waving them off with the electricity coming out of her staff. “I’m sorry, alien, but I need to help a partner in trouble.” She gave a thumbs up to the spirit and showed a smile. “We trust in you, so don’t let us down.” Just like that, as Vemmon took the leap to the highest platform of the hall, Kissu took a leap downwards, going back to the rest of the group.
Finally, and after a long trip up, Vemmon had arrived at the highest spot in the room. There, the small coated digimon was sitting on his throne. He was clapping again.
“That was definitely an amazing job, player. However, I think I know someone who would like to be in here too.” Pulling a pair of metallic fingers out of his coat, he snapped, making Bolgmon appear out of thin air in front of him. “He just needed some help to get up.”
Again, the metallic monster lifted his guns against the alien.
“This is it, player. It’s you against the final boss. No more running away like before, this time you’ll have to face it. And you will not have any kind of aid this time. No more reinforcements.”
The sound of a door opening behind both Bolgmon and the coated digimon startled the latter. Out of it, three figures were expelled into the platform, the three of them falling face first into the ground. Two humans, one digimon.
“Ouch!!” Tsukiko rubbed her forehead. Her arms had barely been able to stop her fall. “That thing just sucked us in after being opened! What the he…?” She blinked twice, looking at the whole scene developing in front of them.
Apparently, the reinforcements had arrived.

"If I were kidding, I'd have said so by now. That's the one way we're gonna do this. Plus, I wouldn't be saying this if I didn't have at least some faith in you two, okay?"
The act itself was...terrifying, to say the least. Mao realized that once she was actually in the air and let go of Rama. She found herself yelling as she plummeted...Up until Tsukiko caught her! "...Okay, thanks, Tsu-chan." There was nothing that could prepare her for what happened next.
After a few seconds of thrashing around, the dragon finally slammed his fist on the ground, a huge explosion erupting around it! It shouldn't harm Pike and Mitsuharu all too much. After all, they gained distance. All that would harm them, if anything, was the fringes of the burst.
The dragon was vulnerable again, now. Having tired himself out.
Vemmon meanwhile slid to a stop at the sight of the coated Digimon, aiming his arm-gun right at the bastard. "Great. I care little. Just give me the girls so I can get out of here, you rat. I'll even dismantle your roach-tank, too." The alien clicked, aiming instead at Bolgmon.
Nobody did anticipate the humans and Ramma falling out, though, did they? "...I have..." Mao took a quick look around. "...No idea what hell I'm looking at." She saw Vemmon, though. The two waved at each other. "You may want to take cover." Vemmon stated, before...He did it again.
He tried to blink onto Bolgmon, and onto his face! This was definitely just to blind him. Yep! Perhaps the reinforcements could figure out what to do if he managed to show off this big guy's back to 'em!

The explosion of Megidramon’s attack had sent both Pike and Mitsuharu a little farther than what they originally expected. Some damage had been taken, no doubt. They were still alive, which was a good thing. This meant they had to keep fighting. “My techniques don’t seem to be doing any damage to this beast.” Mitsuharu tsk’d, staring at the monster. “More healing!” The yelling of Kissu got to both the Ashikaga and then Thunderballmon’s ears, as she was falling from the sky, landing a little rashly. “Kissu-Grandma!” Mitsuharu was a bit startled at the elder showing up. “I think our best chance is to try and finish this enemy with one big, devastating technique.” The Babamon stated, standing up and dusting herself up. “Then why are you telling me to heal him!?” Pike asked. It was clear he was starting to get worried about the outcome of this battle. “Trust me. We need more healing. Just once more.” Kissu sounded dead serious, her voice showed it. Pike remained silent for a while… thoughtful. Dubious. He was leaving his brother’s future in the hands of these strangers. Of course he didn’t like it, but… “Please! Trust her!” Mitsuharu yelled. “I do, so please, do so too!”Pike’s eyes widened. The BushiAgumon had pushed him to take this decision. Kissu, the alien and him had helped him during all of this trip, so the least he could do was giving them a chance. “Agh! Okay!” The Thunderballmon floated into the air in a swift movement. “I’ll do it for you, Ramma.” He muttered to himself. “It better work!”Pike lifted both hands into the air. “HEALING… DISCHARGE.”A healing, green-colored field was spread throughout the hall, Reaching Mitsuharu. A sensation of refresh and wellbeing was slowly starting to grow inside the Samurai. It was as if he had been healed four times in total. Right after, another healing swirling wind circled around their body, healing him four times again. He had been healed four times in two occasions, one after the other. “What was… that?” Mitsuharu asked. “That was perfect! I’m fully charged!” Kissu declared. "Just watch, kid. This is what I call the Healing Boost combo."
On his side, Pike seemed very tired after performing that technique. “That’s the best I can do.” He declared, panting. The Megidramon seemed ready to attack once again now. “We need to survive the following technique. Then, I’ll be ready to shoot.”
Many meters above, the rest of the players were facing their final bout, including the princesses who were supposed to be rescued. “Do you… know him?” Tsukiko turned at Mao, who had waved at this alien digimon. “What’s going on?”“The… princesses!” A bit stunned, the coated digimon finally realized the three hostages had arrived. “How did they get up here?”“It’s that digimon with the coat!” The pink-haired girl pointed at the game master. Ramma took a fighting stance. “So it’s him.”The small digimon snapped his fingers once again, making a small circle of the platform detach from the floor, lifting his body to even a higher distance. “I’m sorry, but I can’t get involved in this, I’m the game master.”
Now, the battle between Vemmon and Bolgmon had begun. The giant robot raised an arm to block the incoming attack from the alien, who had warped right in front of him. With his left arm, it started shooting more electricity bullets to the alien, this time they traveled faster and were bigger than ever. Tsukiko’s eyes went everywhere, looking for cover. A small group of metallic boxes that were casually lying around would probably do. “Let’s go!” She grabbed Mao by her hand, so they could run behind the boxes. The giant Bolgmon had started spinning and shooting everywhere. Ramma was barely able to dodge the rounds coming his way, even know he got scrapped by some. “Agh!” He squealed in pain. “Mao~ru! Is that alien digimon your friend? Should I help him!?”
Battle Log: Pike: Healing Discharge: Pike lifts both hands into the air, to release a healing field that will heal the ally with the lowest hp. This ally will be healed a 10% 'x' times. X is the number of times 'electrical patch' was used during this battle multiplied by two. Can only be used once per thread. x= (2) * (2)= 4.
Kissu: [Passive Ability] Healing boost: Each time an ally (Inside a 50-meter radius) gets healed by a non-passive ability, Kissu will heal them an additional 10% of their total health. If multiple allies are healed at the same time, this passive will only heal an additional 10% to the one with the lowest amount of HP when the original healing finishes. Healing counter (times an ally has been healed by any of Kissu's abilities): 5 + 4= 9.
(Kissu healed Mitsuharu with her passive every time he got healed this turn. Which means she healed Mitsuharu four times in total, adding four to her healing counter.)

The Megidramon was holding back, strangely. It allowed Kissu to heal the group as much as she needed. But...why? Was it as mindless as it appeared or was it considering this some sort of screwed up game?
Of course, the bigger question to ask here was not why Megidramon was allowing this. It was if they could survive his next attack. The blazing red symbol on it's chest pulsed as it empowered itself further, before it slammed both of its fists into the ground, and let out a hellish howl.
You'd be forgiven for assuming this was Hell Howling. It was not. As Megidramon howled, it turned orange for a split second...Before a crimson wave of fire practically exploded out from the dragon. Balls and gouts of flame spewed in every direction. The attack itself was rather chaotic. Something that may work to its disadvantage.
The way the fire was being thrown? It was indiscriminate. It didn't care if it hit anything. It just wished for one thing. For the smell of ash in the morning.
"Yeah, that's the one I...told you about." Mao didn't feel like explaining that she turned into the Digimon that she had waved to sometimes in order to get things done.
Wait, this little turd was the mastermind? "You're a awful game master, then." Mao grumbled, pushing her glasses up, before she got taken by the hand behind the boxes. Adequate cover for what was going to be a brutal fight. Vemmon hadn't expected Bolgmon to allow him to get up there so easily, so when he made contact with the arm, he promptly leapt off.
The first bullet missed him narrowly enough that it grazed him--that was thanks to Vemmon starting to move fast already. The second, though, that one hit him dead on, causing a screech of pain from the alien. "It would be far more convenient for me if you just stopped." It hissed.
Vemmon had to keep moving. Mao looked to Ramma, "I wouldn't call him my friend but he's an ally, so yes! Help him!" It was then that the alien realized something he could do. Something he oft forgot about. He looked for a break in the bullets before using that reprieve (if he could find it, if not, he'd try doing this under fire) to link his mind to Ramma's.
This was represented by a small, purple wisp of energy floating towards the Mamemon. If the Mamemon touched that wisp, Ramma would hear these words. There's a button on his back--I'm trying to keep it occupied. Press it.
The Mamemon would also enjoy the feeling of...increased attack power. Nice!

[Seconds before Megidramon's technique to be launched]
“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. HE’S INSIDE MY HEAD.”
Weren’t for the fact that the situation developing in front of them was already scary enough, Ramma’s shouting would have actually startled Tsukiko or Mao. “Oh, okay.” He muttered, nodding firmly, finally understanding what kind of technique this was. Meanwhile, the final boss kept shooting the alien.
The giant Bolgmon seemed to be pushing its limits. Its whole body was overheating, turning to a bright, red color, due to not taking any breaks from one round of shooting to another. The machine was just putting all of its efforts to annihilate Vemmon. The shots that missed, exploded against the ground, lifting curtains of smoke that made even more difficult for Ramma or the others to see. Ramma would quickly notice every shot that hit Ramma, was making him feel pain, as if he was the one being shot.
“I’ll follow your lead!” The Mamemon X leaped forward, trying to reach the creature’s back, however, he was repelled by a burst of electricity coming out of the monster’s body, sending him back. “Ugh.” A small groan of pain came out of Ramma, who was slowly standing up, looking at the monster. Through his mind, he attempted to communicate with his new ally.
“Can you… hear me? I can’t get close enough, the thing is shooting electricity everywhere, I don’t know how to reach him. I know I’m strong enough to propel someone towards him. Throw them, like a projectile. I could throw you… But if it’s looking at us while I do that, there’s no way we could reach its back.”
The Mamemon started reminiscing about what they had just done in the previous room, using a portal to reach the door they needed, and Mao throwing him as a projectile.
“If only we had any kind of portal that could let us reach his back even though coming through the front…”
Laughing mischievously, the coated Digimon snapped his fingers again. "Come on! You look too preoccupied! You need to have more fun. This is a game!" He stated effusively, without losing his evil sounding voice. Meanwhile, another screen deployed, showing Mitsuharu, Pike, and Ramma fighting Megidramon, who seemed to be getting ready to shoot.
"Aw, the other group of warriors is about to be wiped out by Megidramon's strongest technique!" He declared. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It's the final boss' finisher, after all!" He chuckled. "However, you only get one life in Arcaria! Once they're killed, if the alien dies, then you'll have to go back to the start!" His voice was loud, as if it was being reproduced by speakers. This allowed Tsukiko to hear him. From her box, the girl addressed the villain.
"Start again?" She showed a confused expression. "You mean... The game?" She asked, poking her head out of the crates she and Mao were using as a cover.
"Huh?" The Digimon noticed he was being addressed by the princess. "Yes. They'll have to go back to stage 1! Back to Boltmon in the plains!"
A little shocked, Tsukiko decided to ask, just to verify. "So they won't... Actually... die?"
"What!?" The game master sounded astonished. "Of course not! What kind of maniac do you think I am!?" He asked, starting to sound even offended by such an assumption. Still a bit shocked by this revelation, and staring at the screen, Tsukiko realized she needed to do something. Game or not. Their lives at risk or not. They needed to win this to get out of here. If everyone down there was defeated by Megidramon, there was no way Ramma and Vemmon could beat both by themselves.
"Mao~ru... Do you think you can take care of everything over here?" She turned at Mao, fixing her blue eyes onto her friend's. "I need to go."
