Now that the passengers were aboard, Balv got his engine running again and started moving away from Mud Pond. Everyone had taken their seats and the train had started making its way to the next station.
Listening at the development through her earpiece, Katherine just saw the previous station draw away in the distance. Of course, Miyu was putting a question over the table with an answer everyone would love to know right now. Just when was this trade happening? At this point, there was no way to know. From her spot, Katherine could see one of the Piyomon who had just entered the train taking a seat at the fourth wagon.
“Up to this point, I hadn’t considered the possibility of Okimi getting on board on one of the stops, and not being inside the train since the beginning.” This, of course, was raising another troubling possibility. Could they have called the exchange off? Considering the ZEO Mafia knew the Kogoro Clan was trying to stop the exchange, it wasn’t something they could rule out.
However, the fact of there being three Piyomon at this train was rather strange. Maybe the ZEO Mafia wanted the Kogoro Clan to face them.
Miyu had thrown a very interesting question at the Gomamon. Something that separated Okimi from the rest.
“Hmmm…” Arthur took his time to think. “Something that differentiates Okimi…” Well, there was something they had already seen... or heard, for the matter. “I would definitely say it’s her voice. I’m 100% sure the Piyomon you just talked to is not Okimi. That’s not her voice.”
“But why did she blink, then?” Jazz asked. “Because they’re a set-up” Arthur concluded. “We can’t be sure yet, but there is a possibility neither of these Piyomon is the real Okimi. They want us to get close to them, to know who we are.”
Of course, this could mean they had fallen right into their trap. They had done exactly what their enemies were expecting. Furthermore, as smart as enervating, this was a dangerous statement. If they hadn’t caught a glance of the real Okimi so far, then the exchange could be happening while they spoke.
“We need to rule this out immediately, then.” Katherine suggested. It was time to take an offensive approach. “I will go with the Piyomon on the fourth wagon. I’ll try to listen to her voice so you can hear it through the earpiece, Arthur.”
“I will try to rule out the Piyomon inside of this wagon. I think it’ll be easier for me to do so.” The Gomamon explained. Whatever they did, they needed to find a way of listening to these Piyomon's voices without they blowing their cover.
“Miyu, would you rather help Arthur or me?” Katherine asked. “Or maybe you have another idea…?” Right now, time was of the essence. The scenario over the table showed a dangerous possibility, so thinking outside of the box might be what they needed. "Whatever you want to try, I trust you two."

"They want us to get close to know who we are" those words from the Gomamon echoed through Miyu's head as she just did that, she fall for the bait and bite it, her mind was racing trying to think of a way to fix the problem she just got herself into, she should've thought before making a move of course this groups will have a decoy or something, they know there is another group going against them.
At this point she can't do anything if she moves again the Chinese girl will look suspicious, and Bloom is easily identifiable thanks to the X on her forehead, to make matters worst Miyu was getting nervous and wasn't thinking straight, all line of thought was interrupted by the pressure of knowing she screw it up by biting the decoy.
"Calm down, calm down, remember what Liang use to say... When you get trap in the storm don't fight it, let it guide you to the eye and reach tranquility before taking another step" She thought for herself, taking a deep breath she close her eyes and let all that pressure move calming her mind she manage to thought of a possibility to help. "No, wait Kath, Arthur don't do anything yet, the groups don't know about you you two but do know about me, Bloom and Jazz so we better not risk getting our aces under the sleeve get caught, I think I have a plan..." Said the Chinese girl taking a minute to organize her ideas "I know I say not risk our secret cards, but I'm on a complicated spot since that Piyomon surely will keep track of my moves from now on so right now I can't do anything, Kath try to get closer and make your Piyomon speak, I'll let it up to you how to do it but do not reveal yourself like I did, Arthur stay on your place and listen to the voice if it's not we'll wait for the next stop and I'll take advantage of the pasengers moving in and out to go to your wagon so you have reinforcements to rule out the last one"
Sure Arthur might not like to play the waiting game since having his dear friend in front of him and not saying that they're here to help will hurt him, but that's the exact reason Miyu decided for Katherine to act, the Spaniard is less emotionally involve and won't reveal themselves in the first opportunity.
""When you get trap in the storm, don't fight it just let it guide you to the eye and reach tranquility before taking another step", that's what my brother use to say, we might be in a predicament now but we need to clear our minds and think carefully from now on to not get on more troubles, keep us in touch"
Bloom had nothing to add, she was amazed how Miyu manage to calm herself and make a quick plan? Wasn't much of a plan but a base to work with, it's better than nothing and unless more Piyomon join the train this base should be a nice start to know how to proceed next, hopefully the bird on Katherine and Jazz's wagon is the one

Even if it was not too different from what Katherine had proposed earlier, Miyu’s suggestion was as good as any. Right now, they needed to rule out at least one Piyomon more and they really shouldn’t blow their cover in the process. This meant whatever they did, they had to be careful.
“Understood.” Katherine whispered, taking her backpack, standing up and making her way towards the fourth wagon. A small candy shop located right at the start of the section gave her the perfect excuse.
Miyu could hear through her earpiece how Katherine asked for a type of candy she didn’t even know and made her way towards her new seat, now at the fourth wagon.
Arthur, on his side, seemed to abide by Miyu’s suggestion, even if he hadn’t said anything so far. What could be his own plan?
Some minutes went by. Balv kept making his way towards the next station and a beautiful waterfall could be seen by the window. This would be a truly majestic ride if they weren’t in such a troubling scenario.
So far, it seemed like Katherine hadn’t still set her own plan in motion. It was Arthur’s voice that would get to Miyu and Bloom through their earpiece now.
“We made eye contact for a brief second but… she didn’t do a thing. I refuse to believe Okimi would act so natural after seeing me in this train. She showed no reaction. At all.” He stated.
“The waiter is about to come by around here. I’m close enough to hear her response when he asks her if she wants anything.” Katherine voice would now appear on the frequency. “Please, be prepared to listen, Arthur.” They only had one chance, after all. “What’s your girl doing, Miyu?”
If the Chinese girl glanced at the Piyomon she had approached earlier, she wouldn’t notice anything strange… for a while. When she observed her for long enough, Miyu would notice the Piyomon more than occasionally took a glance at the roof of the train, before shifting her eyes to her drink or the window again. Miyu herself was also one of the things the bird took a second or two to look every now and then.
If Miyu decided to raise her gaze towards the roof of the train, she would notice… a decorative mirror. It was stuck to the roof at around the middle of the hall. If she moved her head from where she was sitting she would notice it showed the reflection of the wagon, including all the passengers inside of it at the moment: a Mushroomon, a Muchomon, a Gotsumon, a Hawkmon and that Gatomon waiter going towards the fourth wagon, pushing his cart. Every passenger inside the wagon could be seen through the mirror. Nothing strange, right?
It was a matter of time before Gatomon reached the fourth wagon and they could hear that Piyomon’s voice.

Trying to remain calm on this situation was key, the girl just close her eyes and took a deep breath waiting for the action of her partners, still the thought of having blow her cover wasn't going away, good thing was that the bird didn't know about Bloom so if anything in the next stop when the one of the other are rule out, Bloom could take advantage on the next stop to move to the other wagons while Miyu remain here looking innocent, Arthur's voice brought her back to reality as it seemed that they made visual contact and the bird didn't react, interesting to say the least but not enough to rule her out.
"Please remain calm Arthur, are you sure she saw you? And by that I mean that got a clear view of you at least enough to recognize you, much like we can't know that one of these three are Okimi how can you be sure that she knows it's you and not a different Gomamon?" She asked, surely digimon that know each other for a long while would recognize each other with no problem, but seeing that even Arthur had trouble and can only recognize her by voice really doesn't help his case. "Let's wait for Katherine's plan and then make a conclusion"
That said the Chinese girl look around specially to her target, trying to see if she made anything suspicious, aside from looking to the roof from time to time nothing weird, if anything it help her confirm that the Piyomon have her eyes on her from time to time, but then when Miyu herself look up and saw the decorative mirror on top she realize that most likely she wasn't leaving the eyes of the bird any time soon.
Moving a little she could see the rest of the passengers on that wagon, Mushroomon, Muchomon, Gotsumon and Hawkmon... Something was odd but the girl couldn't put her finger on what, she thought it would be better to warn the others in case they had a mirror on their wagons.
"Guys, look up to the roof of your wagons, tell me if you see a decorative mirror" Miyu ask Katherine and Arthur "From where I'm sitting I'm able to see some of the passengers on my wagon, Mushroomon, Gotsumon and two more birds, Muchomon and Hawkmon, I can't put my finger into it but I know something is off, does any of those Digimon ring a bell for you? Also and more importantly if you have a mirror what can you see?
If they can't rule out the Piyomon they should rule out the passengers, it wouldn't be too farfetched to assume that one or two members of the group that was going to make the trade would be close from the bird just to be sure everything goes as planned.

Time had passed and Balv continued its trail. Slowly, the train started to lower its speed as they seemed to be arriving their second stop. It was a wooden structure just built in the middle of the jungle. The palm trees blocked the sun at some parts of the layout and the digimon waiting at the station got ready to aboard. Just like the last time, Balv announced they were arriving a new stop and every passenger who was getting off next should get ready to do so. This one was called 'Refreshing gound'.
Of course, this meant the waiter temporarily stopped going through the hall, while everyone got off and on the train. Neither of the three Piyomons moved a muscle. They all remained sitting in the exact same spot: one at Miyu's wagon, one at Katherine's wagon and one at Arthur's wagon. No Piyomon entered the train either this time.
Once again, Balv got into motion. It was a good thing no more shenanigans had been added to the list of things to worry about at this station. But, at the same time, this meant they were already past the second station and they still didn’t even know if the trade was happening.
This section of the forest was a lot more shadowy and palm trees were thicker. It even felt as if they were entering some kind of cave.
“We don’t have much time…” Jazz muttered.
“I’m sure she got a clear view of me. And she didn’t even widen her eyes or anything. It’s like she didn’t know me. Even if she didn’t know it was actually me, she would still show any type of reaction from seeing a Gomamon looking at her inside the train.” Arthur explained. “She didn’t show any kind of expression. Okimi is not like that.” A short pause ensued. “… I can’t say I can one hundred percent rule out it’s her but…” The Gomamon didn’t complete his own sentence.
“Neither of those ring a bell, no.” The Gomamon’s green eyes went to the roof of the wagon. “No mirror either.”
“No mirror over here.” There was a tone of worriedness behind Katherine’s words. “Hush, hush! The waiter is approaching this Piyomon.” She urged the rest of the team to make silence, whispering. A lengthy pause ensued
“… she only nodded and pointed at what she wanted.” The Spaniard let out a sigh. Could this get any more difficult?
Arthur let out a moan of frustration, putting both paws over his head. Everything was so confusing! So weird! Nothing made sense and time kept slipping on them. The exchange could be taking place as they spoke and they wouldn’t know! A frustrated Katherine and Arthur remained silent as the train kept going.
Jazz’s voice broke the silence around the channel.
“This is what they want.” Katherine blinked twice. “What do you mean?”
“The ones who are making the trade. I don’t know if they’re responsible for this trick with the Piyomons but I know this is exactly what they want. If we get frustrated and lose time, they have a clear path for whatever they’re trying to do.” The Chocomon’s tone of voice sounded dead-serious. “We need to think clearly. We need to think thoroughly. There has to be something that we’re missing. There has to be a clue that we’re not seeing. Something that has raised our attention as of late.”
Silence, once again.
“… The mirror?” Katherine’s voice was heard. “It could be. Does it really make sense for a decorative mirror to be located in the roof of only one of the wagons?” Jazz questioned. “It doesn’t…” Arthur sounded less frustrated and a lot more thoughtful. “You’re the one in the wagon with the mirror, Miyu. We’re counting on you. Please.”
It was clear it was in Miyu’s hands to unclog the situation. To solve the puzzle. To break through the lie. But… could she do it?
If the Chinese girl looked at the mirror again and analyzed it carefully, she would notice… pretty much the same she had noticed so far. Even if some of the passengers had changed in the last station, the mirror still showed every passenger inside the wagon. There was not a single spot or passenger inside the wagon the mirror did not show through reflection. The mirror showed: Gotsumon, Goblinmon, Hawkmon, Gabumon, and Miyu. Those were all the passengers inside the wagon according to the reflection shown in the mirror. All of them.
So… it was clear something was off, right? Something in the mirror's reflection didn't match what she could see when she looked at the wagon herself.

As the train slow down for the second stop the Chinese girl just slammed her face down in the table letting a frustrated sight out, they were running out of time and have not figure out anything, Bloom was even more frustrated as there was less she could do from here, she wasn't that smart and going out of her bag will most likely put eyes on theme, after all how many Tanemon with an X on their forehead can be?
Soon the train started moving again and Miyu listen to the comments of her partners, nothing that actually helped, no mirrors on their wagons nor any of the mention digimon ringed any bells, so all hopes were on Miyu which added unneeded pressure on the girl's back, after some minutes of just pure silence Miyu raised her head again and with a sight she took a glance at the passengers through the mirror, Gotsumon and Hawkmon were still there, but the rest were completely different...
"Wait a minute..." She said as she noted something weird, Piyomon wasn't on the mirror, she took a quick glance back at were the bird was sitting and there she was... What? Looking at the Mirror again and nope... She wasn't there, this was weird no matter how she move Piyomon wasn't being show in the reflection "Is... Is it possible for a digimon to not show any kind of reflection in a mirror?" She asked, she might've been a lot of tv lately but the Chinese girl sure hopes that vampire digimon aren't a thing "Because I can assure you this Piyomon does not make a reflection"
Well this meant they can rule this Piyomon out but creates two questions, why doesn't have a reflection and why would they have a full mirror on this wagon specifically? well for once Bloom had an answer, not a really useful one but an answer nonetheless
"What if the mirror is here to have a clear view of everyone on the wagon because here is were the trade will happen? Bloom made a question before saying what was in her mind "But maybe it's not the real trade, maybe they're gonna change the fake gem that Coatlmon mention, with the mirror here they can get a clear view of everyone on the wagon that could make something to screw with their plans"
"Which also means that I am on the eye of the storm because I reveal myself..." Miyu sighed "If that's the case we'll do our best to keep things under our control, just please pretty please tell me there are not vampire digimon..."

She had done it. It was almost as if Miyu had opened the can of worms. It was not just that this Piyomon's reflection didn’t appear on the mirror. When the Chinese girl looked through it, what the mirror showed was… that Hawkmon! “S-She doesn’t show a reflection in the mirror?” Arthur’s voice could be heard through the earpiece. “Arthur, quick. Try to get anything that reflects Piyomon’s image.” Katherine ordered as she looked inside her backpack for her own make-up kit. She quickly took out a small, round mirror and looked herself through it, while giving her back to Piyomon, as if she was checking her hair. The reflection showed... a Piyomon, just like the one sitting right there. “T-The window! It shows… F-Falcomon?” Arthur’s voice startled everyone. “Girls, I think this one is another fa-“ The Gomamon interrupted himself. A gasp was heard coming through his side of the signal. “What is…!?”
Katherine, and probably everyone around the train, were thrown forward promptly in a sudden movement. Balv had used his breaks and was stopping in an impromptu. The squeal of many digimon around the train could be heard. “Arthur! What’s happening!?” The teenager asked. Arthur was occupying the wagon that was closest to the front side of the train, so if anyone could know what had happened up front, it was him. “I-It’s… huge…!”“Kath! She’s escaping!” Jazz had popped her head out of the backpack. And she was right. Piyomon was running through the fourth wagon, heading to the fifth. The reflection. She was the real one! “Okimi, wait!” The teenager yelled. If any other confirmation was needed, the Piyomon turned her head towards Katherine as she kept running without looking forward. “Huh?” Before she could actually stop, she bumped into someone, falling to the ground. “Found you.” A metallic soldier-like digimon stood right in front of the bird. “No!” Okimi fluttered her wings, flying through a window and out of the train, which had stopped completely now. “Miyu, Okimi is here, we're going to get her. Be careful!” Katherine spoke through her earpiece, while Jazz jumped out of the backpack. No point in keeping a cover any longer, right? A spark of light engulfed the Chocomon as she turned into a Lopmon once again. A window big enough to fit Katherine raised the Spaniard's attention. She and Jazz immediately started going through it. Before leaving the wagon, she took a glance at the soldier. He was just... standing there, staring at them, almost as if he didn’t care in the slightest. Why? The answer would be met as soon as they stepped out into the wilderness. The landscape was rather simple, Balv had been stopped midway through the rail in the middle of an area full of vegetation. All kinds of trees and plants were surrounding them. It was a very tropical environment. However, what would immediately raise the duo’s attention was a gigantic, organic piece of skin moving around the whole train. It was four or times taller than Katherine herself. “W-What is this?” Katherine asked herself, while the tail swirled around them and the train. It didn’t take too much for them to realize this was… a tail. The tail of an enormous creature. It was truly massive.
Regarding Miyu and Bloom? As soon as the train had stopped, they probably knew what was coming. In their attempt to find out which of these Piyomon was Okimi, they had blown their cover. And now that this Piyomon was a fake, it was clear what was her first target. Immediately, the pink bird transformed into what the reflection had shown all along: a Hawkmon. Then, his body glimmered. He was evolving. “You were too reckless.” The Chinese girl was met by the figure of a ninja digimon, smirking confidently. A gust of wind surrounded his body as he jumped towards the human, attempting to slice her with his blade. Regardless of if Bloom had jumped to protect her partner or not, the Igamon wouldn’t be able to reach her. A red-colored beam coming from his left had hit him, sending him crashing against the bar inside the wagon, breaking every cup on it. If Miyu and Bloom turned towards the direction the beam had been shot, they’d see… the same digimon Jazz and Katherine had just met in the fourth wagon. The digimon had dismissed the girl and the bunny, almost as if he was interested in what laid in this wagon. “W-Who are you!?” The Igamon asked, trying to stand up from the mess his own body had made, crashing against the bar. “You must be a member of the Kogoro Clan.” He seemed to be addressing the Igamon, walking forward. He pressed a button on a mechanic gauntlet he had on his right hand, changing it from a sort of canon to a hand holding a knife. “I’m sorry but… I’ll be the one who eliminates these two.”“Regarding who I am… My name is Raul, intelligence soldier for the ZEO Mafia.” His head turned towards Miyu and Bloom as he took a fighting stance. “If that name rings a bell for you two…” Raul 's eyes were filled with a desire for revenge. “… then you get why this is personal.”
"The ZEO Mafia, huh? So you've finally appeared." The Igamon reincorporated, taking out a shuriken. "Don't underestimate me, or you'll pay a high price." The ninja's eyes went to the girl and her partner, then to Sealsdramon. "Considering we're all enemies... I guess this is a free for all."

The sense of victory Miyu felt when discover the odd thing on the room vanish the second her partners started shouting on the earpiece but she couldn't make anything of what was happening, the last thing she knew was that there was a ninja digimon charging right at her even if Bloom jumped from the bags and evolve into Palmon she wasn't going to make in time to protect Miyu from the attack, luckily someone else jump in to attack the Igamon and "protect" the Chinese girl
"Oh no..." Palmon's eyes widened as she recognize that figure, Sealsdramon the evolve form of Commandramon which was very apparent who he was once he said his name "I'll take that you and your friends are still salty that a little plant was able to defeat all three of you" She joke with a smug grin on her face, but that was just a mask right now Bloom was scare as she has two champion digimon in front of her and there is no way she can evolve in such small space
This situation was anything but good and that's something that even Miyu recognize, oddly enough she wasn't worried about her but her partners, specially Arthur. The Chinese girl sighed as it seem that now there was no escape from a fight, serves her right for blowing her own cover, worst is that she knows Bloom is at a disadvantage , but looking her surroundings there might be a chance for them to escape and reach Arthur.
"I guess politely talking things out is off the table, right?" She said as pick up her digivice from the bag and place it on the cradle in her right arm "That's too bad isn't it?" She quickly grab the glass of juice she order before and throw it at Sealsdramon
That wouldn't do much against that thing but that's the beautiful part of a distraction, they don't have to know the full plan, as soon as Miyu threw the glass Bloom use her vines to try and grab Igamon and then threw him against Sealsdramon too, if the plan work Miyu would run towards the food cart and flip it to use it as a cover.
"I hope this works, we need for them to break the food cart and then you'll pick one of the pieces and throw it towards the mirror, that'll be our distraction to exit this wagon and to the next one, we gotta reach Arthur"
Palmon just nodded, the plan seem good enough, surely they'll try to blow up their cover and the moment they do they'll shatter the mirror that should be enough for give them a window of advantage to escape, while Bloom would like to stay outside so she could have space to evolve and fight, reaching Arthur seems like the more logical thing to do

It was likely that when it came to taking an enemy by surprise, betting against the reflexes of a ninja wasn’t the best course of action. Combined with the throw of Igamon’s shuriken, the glass Miyu threw did enough to at least annoy Raul for some seconds, obtruding the Sealsdramon vision. The shorter digimon quickly pulled out a sword and rejected Bloom’s vines immediately, so he wasn’t going anywhere. Furthermore, the food cart that Gatomon was carrying had left the wagon a while ago, even before all of this started, so that was not a place to hide for the Chinese girl and her partner right now. Luckily, both digimon seemed to be interested in Bloom, so it was likely the tamer was out of danger. The back of her seat would be enough for her to protect herself from any backlash the battle could bring. The situation for the Palmon didn’t look good, she had deployed an attack without any result. Now, the consequences were coming. “I told you to not underestimate me!” Apparently, that naïvety of the attack had managed to piss Igamon even more than if it had worked. The digimon swung his blade, sending a gust of slicing wind towards Bloom. It traveled with such might that it immediately broke the windows across the wagon. For a rookie, that had to hurt. Raul covered his face with his forearm, trying to protect himself from the wind. This ninja was just going to be this annoying right? He better dealt with him fast so he could go and take care of that plant soon enough. The Sealdramon got sliced by the wind, but still pushed forward to try slashing the Igamon with his knife. The latter responded immediately, putting his blade up front. Apparently, when it came to reflexes, this ninja was at his peak, and taking him by surprise just didn’t seem easy. Now, the soldier kept trying to slice the ninja, while a sort of short-swords duel was taking place. If Bloom could stand up from Igamon’s brutal technique, what would her next move be? While the trio fought, chaos just broke loose inside every wagon of the train. “Everyone, please stay calm! There’s a digimon blocking our way. We should start moving again very shortly.” Even if Balv tried to calm the passengers down, it was probably too late. Most of the digimon had completely lost any calm and were cluttering at the exit of the third wagon to find a way out of the train. Desperation and uncertainty were at the order of the day right now. And it could only get worse when they saw what was waiting for them outside.
While everyone moved back from Arthur’s wagon, heading towards the exit located at the third one, the Gomamon just stared at what was in front of the train, while peeking his head out of the window. “I-It’s… huge…!”The sound of something moving inside the wagon, made him take the half of his body that was out of the window, back inside. It was still there: that bird digimon that had taken Okimi’s appearance and he had managed to see through the window’s reflection. However, he had left his deceit behind and it had now taken his real form. A Falcomon. Before he even asked him to do it, Arthur considered necessary to stand his ground. “I’m not leaving!”The wagon was now completely empty. No more passengers were left. It was likely Falcomon was taking the aggressive stand but… what was he going to do next?
Katherine tried to take her attention away from the giant tail swirling around the train and back to Okimi. When she raised her gaze she saw the Piyomon fluttering her wings, moving towards the roof of the wagon. Maybe from there they could see what was actually blocking the way. Fortunately, not too far away from them, by the end of the fourth wagon, right before the fifth, there was a metallic ladder attached to the outer side. “Let’s go!”Katherine and Jazz rushed towards the ladder and climbed it. The Lopmon was at the head, so she was the first to see... that. She let out an audible gasp and her eyes widened. Her tamer got there right after. Her reaction? Pretty much the same. They finally discovered what was that thing moving around the outsides of the train. By far, the biggest digimon Katherine had seen so far. It was even hard to comprehend how could there exist something so big. His tail was at least as long as Balv himself. He was, however, a lot, lot bigger, in every other aspect. Thicker, bulker and taller. At the distance, right in front of the Trailmon, they could see his head and torso, just blocking the way. There was no way Balv could go through this monster. "Gigadramon..." Katherine muttered, looking at her D-Terminal, who had provided her with the necessary insight. "It's a perfect-level digimon."The teenager and the bunny just stood there, paralyzed, staring at this giant.

Miyu's little trick somehow worked (Igamon help but that's besides the point), sadly the foodcart was nowhere to be seen so she had to hide behind her seat, Bloom on the other hand wasn't luck enough as her own attack was quickly repel by Igamon's sword and he quickly counter attack sending a wind cut with his sword so powerful that break the windows of the wagon, the little plant was send flying by the high wind and finally stop once she hit the door at the end of the wagon's corridor.
The Chinese girl froze as she saw her partner fall to the floor completely motionless, she didn't want to believe this happen, once again she fail on actually helping her partner and Bloom pay the consequences, taking advantage the current fight between the other two she quickly moves towards her partner and pick her up , as she did the girl noticed that while the plant was limp and making death weight she was still awake
"Are you ok?" She muttered
"Yes..." Answer Bloom with pain in her voice, it was obvious that she wasn't OK, but Palmon wouldn't say no and worry Miyu, she has to be strong for both in this situation "I... I can't fight them here... Take me outside while they're distracted fighting themselves"
Miyu knew that go outside and them following would mean Bloom wanting to turn in Togemon, maybe in that form she'll have a better chance fighting them but still who knows what's outside? But for what little she heard on the earpiece it wasn't something nice and easy to fight, nonetheless the plant was right this might be their only chance to escape now and it'll be best to take advantage of it, everyone was cluttering on the door so escaping from there was not the quickest option but then she look at the broken windows.
"I'm sorry Bloom" The Chinese girl said as she threw the plant through the broken window to the outside, sure with Bloom injured throwing her out of the window wasn't the smartest idea but it was the quickest.
The girl then run towards the window and raise her right arm activating the digivice for Bloom to evolve, a bright sphere of light and data cover the little plant and in no time Togemon was standing proud ready to keep going, ignoring what the others were talking through the earpieces Bloom ran towards the wagon and got her boxing glove close to the window to help Miyu escape without risking the girl getting hurt by the broken glass, the light of evolution surely would've alerted Sealsdramon and Igamon but would they stop their fight to prevent the chinese girl to escape?
Whatever happened it seems that it might be troublesome for the plan, not help that they might've been discovered and compromising the mission even further, well nothing to do about it once all passengers leave the wagon Falcomon drop the disguise and move towards the exit, he didn't account for the Gomamon not leaving tho, so that meant the seal saw him transform and that is bad for his honor as a ninja and spy.
"Bold of you to assume that I was going to let you go anyways" Said the bird with a stoic expression before throwing 3 shuriken in his way
Gomamon is an aquatic digimon he shouldn't be too hard to fight on land just in case as soon as the shuriken leave his wings he clap them together and started doing hand signs getting ready his next attack
"You should've run when you had the chance"

Blades kept clashing inside the third wagon. Both Igamon and Raul threw slashes at each other. Each of them was quicker than the last one, but they all got met by a sword coming from the other side. Even if the Sealdramon was only using a knife, he was more than able of holding the ninja off. However, the skills of the Kogoro Clan’s member had definitely taken him by surprise. “You just won’t let me finish those two until I kill you, will you?” The dragon soldier’s words were issued one by one while he kept trying to cut the ninja. “I--- told you--- I hate to be underestimated!” The duel just kept going, giving Miyu and Bloom the time to actually set their plan in motion.
The sight of Okimi fluttering her wings, trying to fly away from the train, brought both Jazz and Katherine out of their shock. “Kath!” Jazz pointed at the Piyomon, who seemed to be having trouble to fly further. Instead, she was moving towards the head of the train. Which meant she was also moving towards that Gigadramon. With everything she had seen so far, there was no doubt in Katherine’s mind that they had to use all of their power in battle. Even as little as it could be, compared to these digimon. In a swift movement, the Spaniard took her digivice out. Jazz started to glow immediately A R M O R E V O L U T I O N After some seconds, the Lopmon had turned, once again, into a Moosemon. Katherine immediately hopped on her and they start running through the roof, trying to reach Okimi. They should get to her quite soon. As they moved through the roof of the third wagon, their sight would catch… Bloom being thrown out of the window! Only to evolve immediately after. The plant digimon became, once again, a giant cactus. Even if her size was still not comparable to the dragon swirling his tail around Balv, she was definitely bigger than the Trailmon. Had they started fighting?
Speaking of fighting… Arthur knew what he was getting into. He knew very well combat was very much not his thing. Yet still, he didn’t seem to be thinking of stepping back from this fight. Not even for a second. “T-Tell me! Where is Mr. Kokatorimon?” The Gomamon asked, putting both of his paws in front of him, in the most not-prepared fighting stance ever. If will could only be transformed into actually useful combat techniques! Closing his eyes, the Gomamon swung his right paw forward, replicating the same movement with her left paw right after. Water actually materialized out of thin air to impact the flying shurikens. The water had been thrown with enough strength to deactivate the attack, but definitely not enough to actually harm the Falcomon. What was coming now? Trying to get out of the way of whatever technique the Falcomon was preparing, Arthur got ready to jump, trying to dodge the bird’s attacks by moving around the wagon. It was clear, however, that he couldn’t run forever.
It was likely that, from such height, Bloom could see Katherine and Jazz running through the roof of Balv to get Okimi. However, before she could even try to help them… Another gust of slicing wing would be thrown her way. This time, it was charged with a huge amount of spiky shurikens. For discovering the source, she would have to look down below, even if it should be rather obvious by now. “We decided getting rid of you is a priority before you turn into a bigger problem.” Igamon was showing a smirk, standing out of the train too as he kept throwing Shurikens at the cactus. ‘ We’? If that question had crossed Bloom’s mind, it would be answered rather shortly. Raul had now invaded her field of vision, jumping in front of her and throwing a punch right at the digimon's face. It was not just any punch. Fire was swirling around his whole arm! How would the cactus defend herself from the two incoming attacks? It should be clear by now that these two weren’t especially good at strategizing. Maybe Bloom had to pick one of the two, and try to get rid of them, while withstanding the attacks from the other? Or should she try to take both out at the same time? What would the plant digimon’s plan be, if any?

Fortunately the duo of attackers didn't pay attention to Miyu and she was able to hop on Bloom's boxing glove to exit the train, the plant put the Chinese girl on top of her head so she could have both hands free to fight, some seconds after they saw Katherine on top a Moosemon (she assumes is Jazz because there is no other explanation) chasing Okimi, they kept looking on their direction and saw a huge digimon, bigger than anything Miyu has seen before, it made look Bloom's Togemon form like a small rookie on comparison.
"We... We might have a problem now..." Bloom said her voice cracking a little, was she scared?
Miyu on the other hand didn't say one word, she was completely speechless looking a the size of that creature, there was no way they'll be able to take it down, in any case standing around and doing nothing they won't help as soon as both got out of the shock Miyu order Bloom to chase the bird and help Kath sadly fate had other ideas as a quick gust of wind follow by a rain of shuriken strike Bloom legs.
The Togemon kneel as the attacks hit her and not soon after Sealsdramon jump out of the wagon aiming for a fire punch at her face, with a quick overhead punch she should send down Raul to the ground, no way that the Sealsdramon can dodge in mid air, no the problem was having to face both at the same time, Bloom of course would take them on but Miyu had a better idea... Divide & Conquer
"I feel sad for the poor Igamon, he's just a tool for Raul, don't you agree Bloom?" She said from the top of the cactus head
"Definitely, he put me out with one swift attack, and now is just distraction for someone that will backstab him the moment he gives his back" Bloom added playing along with Miyu
"You know? Maybe he's too weak and had to swallow his pride as a ninja for a chance of fighting"
"Indeed, just bowing down to an enemy hoping it doesn't get killed in the process"
"He should prove himself the better mon and assasin by fighting on his own"
"Totally, besides it's not like Raul can put much of a fight for a ninja master of the IGA Clan, right?"
Will the taunts had an effect and Igamon would put his pride before fighting Togemon and prove to be better than the Sealsdramon, but in the case this doesn't work Bloom deliver a quick one-two combo to Sealsdramon, having Miyu on top of her head is bad as Bloom will have to be careful not using moves that can put her in harms way, but if they star fighting against each other it should be manageable
On the other hand things weren't nice for Arthur either even if he stopped the shurikens with his water Falcomon had finish with his hand signs and the Gomamon would see the claws on his right wing sparking with lightning bolts.
"Raijinken" With a flash step he reach Gomamon and use the sparking claws on his wing to try and stab him
Hearing the seal stutter made the bird grin, the little guy was scare and could barely put a fight, although the question he made raise some flags for Falcomon, if it was a normal passenger that saw him blow his disguise he'd just toy with him until he got bored, but Arthur asking for Kokatorimon made things different, the Gomamon knows too much and he should not lose too much time
"Too bad you do seem to know who do I work for, guess I'll make it quick, any last words kiddo?"

“That was super cool, Arniki! I loved it!”“ Y-You think so!? I’ve always thought it’s kind of stupid.”“No way! It looks like one of those cool techniques I’ve seen digimon rescuers use.”“… You’re kidding, right? I could never be one of those guys!”
Any joy that could have been brought to him by the sight of his water actually stopping the shurikens had lasted next to nothing for Arthur. The reason? The Falcomon was ready to throw another technique! The Gomamon kept jumping around the wagon, trying to get out of harm’s way and keep himself off the reach of those electric claws. First, he managed to jump from the floor to one of the tables, dodging the first swing. Then, he jumped from the table and swung from a lamp, barely dodging the second strike. However, once he reached the floor again, the bird had swiftly moved and was right in front of him. Falcomon’s Rajinken finally hit him. For several seconds, the Gomamon just stayed there, zapped by this bolt. He could feel the electricity circling through his whole body. He was completely paralyzed! The combination of pain and shock made that he couldn’t move one single muscle in his body. The pain only grew more and more and these seconds felt like an eternity. Finally, the flowing electricity got interrupted by an explosion that sent the seal back, crashing against one of the walls of the wagon and falling to the floor. Ouch. This was pointless, wasn’t it? It was obvious he was not a fighter! What was he even doing? How could he even dream to stop a ninja on his tracks? It was completely absurd. He had no offensive techniques. He didn’t know how to fight. He had nothing to throw at this Falcomon. Arthur started to open his eyes, slowly. His vision was blurry and he couldn’t even feel his body anymore. Only a vibrating pain circled through all of his being now. He could see Falcomon’s figure, asking for him to tell him his last words. “W-… W-…” Barely being able to speak, the Gomamon seemed to be looking to utter some words. “W-Where…?” He managed. The pain he was feeling made it very hard to even say something. After a couple of seconds, he said it. “W-Where is -- Mr. Kokatorimon?” He asked again. Well, the only thing that remained intact was his will. But that just wouldn’t be enough, would it?
On their own end of the struggle, Katherine and Jazz had almost reached Okimi. The teenager leaned forward and called for the bird. “Okimi! Please, calm down!” That just didn’t seem to be enough to get the bird to see them as allies and stop her escape. The Piyomon kept fluttering her wings and moving desperately. Just by looking at her, Katherine could feel how scared she actually was. For a second, she tried to think on a way of getting Kokatorimon’s daughter to listen to them. The answer didn’t take long to reach her. She had to try this. “We’re Arthur’s friends!”"... A-Arniki?"Okimi’s eyes widened. Just when the sentence finished, she stopped fluttering her wings and turned towards the human and the Moosemon. The green-eyed showed a smile to her. It had worked. “Come here! We’ll help you!” She added, extending her arms, still atop of the white beast. After hesitating for some seconds, the Piyomon started flying towards them. Another joy that didn't last much. Jazz’s voice brought the girl to see a figure, moving in front of them, running through the roof of the train. “Kath! Something is coming!” The Moosemon announced. Their little chase had brought them to the roof of the second wagon. Which meant they were closer to Gigadramon! The digimon coming their way was coming from the front of the train, the same place where the giant dragon was located. As it got closer, the teenager could actually discern the figure. She still didn’t know what kind of digimon this was. But him approaching couldn’t mean good news. What would the newcomer do upon arriving?
The fact that Bloom was a whole lot bigger didn’t mean she was stronger. Raul didn’t have to dodge, he just had to redirect his punch to protect himself from Bloom’s own attack. Her red glove managed to block the Sealdramon’s attack, only because the dragon smashed his own fist against the Togemon’s, releasing another wave of energy. Neither of them moved. It was a clean face-off. The Sealdramon landed on the ground, ready to unleash another attack. However, Miyu and Bloom seemed to be having an unnecessarily loud discussion. Were they actually this bad at keeping their plans to themselves? No… they were actually trying for someone to hear them talk. When Raul realized what was going on, it might have been a bit too late. The flying Shurikens and wind going Bloom’s way had lowered their intensity. The Sealdramon’s leaped out of the way and turned towards Igamon. The gust of wind kept coming out of him, looking to damage Bloom. But his eyes… they were affixed on the Sealsdramon. “A-Are you underestimating me!?” The ninja’s voice echoed through the whole clear. Success. “I won’t forgive you!” Using the flow of wind he had produced himself, the Igamon was propelled against Raul, taking out his blade once again. This time he seemed angrier than ever before, electricity circling through his body. “Damn it.” Raul clenched his teeth. Time to think fast. “Data block!” Extending one arm in front of him, the dragon started building a wall made of dark-blue data. Slowly, a set of blocks had materialized, changing the current of the wind and redirecting it to… Bloom herself! Time for the cactus to defend herself from an electric-ninja-bullet going at full throttle!

Credit when credit is due Falcomon didn't expect to dodge his attack twice, too bad third time's the charm, when his claw impacted Gomamon he stood still waiting for the electricity to roam for every corner of the poor seal body before pushing him away with a small explosion, a smug grin was drawn with every step the bird took getting closer to the barely conscious seal.
Once he was close enough Falcomon kicked Arthur turning him to face up to have a better look of him and why not help the little seal don't have too much trouble breathing, after all the worse is to come better make his last minutes as easier as possible, it took some time but Gomamon finally manage to make a sentence and sadly he was still asking for Kokatorimon, Falcomon sighed disappointed, kid was strong willed but in this situation but much like anything will is something that can break no matter how strong is
"Alright if you want to know, I'll give you a little hint" Falcomon rise his talon and quickly send it down stomping Gomamon and holding it to the ground, the then reach for something that was inside of his ninja attire, a small kunai like key "See this? If you want to reach the old rooster you need this key" He proceed to wave it in front of Arthur's face "Isn't it so sad? So close and at the same time so far" Falcomon stomp Arthur once again, this time he use the claws in his talon to stab the seal. "In all honesty what were you thinking when you decide to take me on? You thought you could defeat me and save the day?" He balance on top of the feet that was stepping on Gomamon, making more weight and sinking his claws deeper trying to cause as much pain as possible "Time to open your eyes kiddo, you did something stupid and now you'll pay for it, I'd say that it's a good lesson to learn for the next life but you're not getting another life, take this seconds to reflect on your family and friends that you'll never see again and let this pain you feel weight on you the same way the guilt and fear right now, accept your fate and take your last breath"
That said Falcomon rise his talon again releasing the hold on Arthur and with one swift kick he send the seal to the center of the wagon again, whether his speech had an effect on Gomamon and actually gave up or not it does not matter, with all the pain he must be feeling dodging the next attack would be surprising, as he walked towards Arthur once again he started making his hand signs but surprisingly he didn't go directly for the seal, Falcomon jumped to a table near him and when the bird finish preparing the attack Arthur would see the talons of the ninja burst in flames.
"I'd like to have a little more height but this should do... BURNING SPIRAL!" Falcomon jump of the table and aimed to fall on Arthur spinning like a flaming drill, would Arthur find the strength and will to dodge at the last second or will he accept his fate?
Meanwhile outside the trailmon things weren't so different, Miyu and Bloom were facing two enemies at once and even if Bloom evolved they seemed to have more strength and energy than the cactus, fortunately Kath and Jazz only need to reach for Piyomon which they are so close to do, the Spaniard even got the attention of Okimi and seems that now they can turn back and help their friends, right?
As Jazz pointed out something was on their way and even if they didn't know what digimon was the agility on which he move should be a warning to start running away, but to the surprise of them the star shape digimon would stop on his tracks right in the middle of the other wagon, he'll just stand still folding his arms letting the wind blow his scarf in a way it felt like he was just posing.
"I am The A+ Warrior of the Kogoro Clan DarkSuperStarmon, I'm a digimon of the Ultimate level and I'm affraid that I can't let you run with the bird"
After introducing himself the star digimon rise his hands to the sky and then close them like if he was getting hold of something after that he spread his arms looking like he was Y posing, it make look weird but all this silly movement and posing had a point, a small dark sphere appeared right above Okimi and once DarkSuperStarmon spread his arm the sphere flattened and spread almost like if it was a hole in the sky.
"ASTRAL RAIN!" From the whole in the sky meteorites start falling aiming at Okimi, Katherin and Jazz, clearly this digimon was aiming to put them out before taking away Okimi without her fighting
And as for our last group while the little plan of Miyu had worked and in a way the barrage of ninja starts directed to Bloom stop, the fight was not even close to be over even when Igamon jump to attack Sealsdramon the cyborg digimon easily redirect the attack towards Bloom.
Seeing the electrified Igamon flying towards them like a freaking bullet was a surprise to Bloom, she didn't expect for Sealsdramon to deflect him so easily and she now has barely any time to think of a counter maneuver, she just raise his hands on a peek-a-boo stance and hope that would stop the attack, which she manage to! But sadly the electricity flowing through the Igamon passed to Togemon and although her big body and extra strength made her resist the pain of the attack there was something none actually expect, the electry surge also went from Togemon to the human standing on top of her!
Letting out a painful cry as the electricity flow through her body Miyu did her best to keep herself conscious and focus, sadly once the lightning stop her body was weak and she collapsed, she was still awake and had some strength but her body wasn't responding it felt numb
"Miyu! Are y─" There was no time for Bloom to finish the sentence as the Chinese girl interrupt her
"Yes... I'm fine..." She was panting and grasping for air, putting all her strength on her legs to stand up "Y-you see? You mean n-nothing for him..." She said trying that the Igamon listen to her one more time "Look at how easily he d-deflect you... Is that r-really all that the Iga clan h-has?"
If Togemon could change the expression on her face she definitely would have a worried one, she's in a tough situation as she can't really use any of her true skills out of risk of throwing Miyu of balance and at the same time any attack that can pass through her can also reach the Chinese girl as recently proven, What good is a partner that can fight nor protect her tamer? Even if she puts Miyu down to fight properly Raul would know by now that the tamer is the real weakness of the plant... If only she was stronger!
"THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!" Togemon roared and charged against Sealsdramon throwing as many punches as she could letting all that anger free with every single attack, whether the shield of the cyborg digimon was still up or he was ready to stop her punches with the ones of his own like last time, it doesn't matter she was going to give all of her to overwhelm the Sealsdramon so the Igamon could try something "I WILL CRUSH YOU!!!"

For some reason, Jazz and Katherine expected this digimon to be… a lot scarier. His sole presence was overwhelming, no doubt. The teenager could feel he was full of energy by just looking at him. However, his attitude was a bit… over the top. “W-What did he say?” Jazz asked, while Katherine quirked an eyebrow. What’s with all of those weird poses? It wasn’t like they had a lot of time to dwell about it. He was ready to attack! For a second, Katherine stared at the dark sphere, open mouthed. That was amazing. It would be a beautiful technique if what he could do with it weren’t so terrifying! This was bad, very bad. His technique covered the whole sky, so it was going to reach both the human and her partner and Okimi. How could Jazz save both of them? “K-Kath! Hide below me!” She ordered. But that wasn’t enough. That meant she couldn't move from where she was standing right now. She had to cover Katherine. Okimi was still too far and wouldn’t be able to reach her on time to hide below too. Then what was she supposed to do? She couldn’t prioritize the mission over her tamer’s safety, but… Too late, no more time to think. The stars were about to fall on her. The Moosemon just closed her eyes and readied to receive the impact. Some seconds after, she started feeling the pain caused by the meteorites impacting her fur. But… why didn’t they hurt that much? Sure, some pain was there to be had, but for a technique coming from an ultimate level digimon… Jazz decided to open her eyes. In front of her, a gust of wind was swirling, making the meteorites spin around it. Some of them got propelled her way, but their speed had been greatly reduced. That's why they didn't hurt that much. Who did that? The answer would be met rather shortly. A ninja-like digimon with springs and holding shurikens with his limbs was standing some meters behind Darksuperstarmon “I can’t let you hurt the pink bird. She’s too useful.” He simply scoffed. “I think that was a very reckless movement, especially if you wanted to leave this place with the Piyomon. It's a good thing you won't. I already kidnapped her father in the name of my clan, so might as well keep her.”The ninja was holding Okimi with the shuriken of his right arm. It had turned into a sort of claw and had wrapped around the bird. A massive roar could be heard. Something had exploded inside the train, right below them. The train was even trembling now! The digimon moved his neck from one side to another, nonchalantly, producing a cracking sound. “I think the rest of the members of my clan are not doing a good job” The Shurimon took a fighting stance. “I was actually hoping to find that hideous Valkyrimon here. But I guess I’ll take care of you first, Zeo Mafia's Darksuperstarmon.”
It had worked! It was impossible to see what expression was Raul showing right now. It wasn't hard to imagine it was a grin. The Igamon had actually impacted the Togemon. Bloom had managed to protect herself with her arms, but the electricity had still harmed her and her tamer. After such impact, the ninja just backed down. He landed on the ground, panting. Raul raised his gaze, staring at Miyu. This was probably when she gave up… right? Well, maybe not. How was that even possible? She had received a shock seconds ago. She seemed to be in a lot of pain, but she was still sticking to her plan, trying to convince Igamon to act in their favor, fighting Raul. How could she show such determination in a situation like this, being right in the middle of a digimon battle and recently suffering the consequences? Anyone would want to retire right now before they got hurt even more! “W-Who is… this girl?” He muttered. Just how strong was her will? Could it even be broken? If that trembling around the train was not enough, for those digimon who actually got out of Balv, the ground was shaking too! Why? Well, now Bloom was actually hitting the ground over and over again, trying to smash Raul. Her wave of punches was getting faster by the second and while the soldier had managed to dodge them so far, he knew once he was hit by one, it wouldn’t be impossible to avoid being hit by the rest of those smashes. Suddenly, a gust of wind sent him propelled out of the storm of punches coming from the cactus. Raul rolled though the ground several times, finally managing to reincorporate several meters away from Bloom. Ironically, Igamon had actually saved him, by doing this. The ninja was now standing in front of Raul, his blade charged with electricity. Could Miyu and Bloom’s plan be working better than this? Probably not! Igamon seemed completely determined to end the Sealsdramon right now. “I am not going to let you take advantage of me.” He declared, pointing his blade at his opponent. “I’ll teach you to not underestimate me!”“I guess I can’t keep deflecting your attacks. I’ll have to finish you in a single blow.” With that, Raul charged against Igamon, while the ninja did the same against the soldier. Raul’s fist was charged with fire while electricity circled through Igamon’s blade. And right when they were about to clash… an explosion happened. At first, it might seem like it had been caused by the clash between them. A quick look would reveal something had impacted the ground instead. Rocks, dirt, and dust were flying everywhere. They hadn’t collided. The Dark Army Strikes! Gonzo vs Bloom! “I’m sorry. I was just getting a bit tired of those two.” Miyu would probably recognize this voice. It had to be somewhat familiar for her. It had acquired a different tone and ring, like the digimon speaking was a lot more serious now. When the dust cleared, it revealed… Botch. The Mudfrigimon had both of his giant hands over Igamon and Sealsdramon, pushing their heads and bodies against the ground. They were completely unconscious. Both of them. The bear stood straight, raising his gaze to look at Miyu on top of the Togemon. He took some steps forward, leaving the unconscious duo behind. “All of these groups are just kind of annoying if you ask me." He added. "Now that I took care of that…”A glow of dark miasma engulfed his body. When it faded, his form had changed completely. A warrior wearing a cloak and holding a metallic weapon had appeared. “I’m sorry. I really need to clean up the house.” He explained. “So I guess you’re next.” “Y-You fixed it, Arniki! I thought my stuffed Bearmon was ruined for good!” “Hehe! I can modify the pressure inside the water I create. If the particles look to stick together with one another,, they can work like glue to stick certain objects together.” “That’s amazing! Your power is definitely something else!” “I think it’s so lame. I don’t think it’s useful at all.”
When kicked, Arthur let out a groan of pain, turning his body with his belly facing the roof of the train. With the very little energy he had left, the Gomamon tried to listen to the Falcomon’s words. He was actually giving him a clue of how to get to Mr. Kokatorimon! His vision was blurry, but he was still able to decry the beast holding a certain item. Having come so far to actually find a way of getting to Okimi’s dad should be somewhat satisfying, considering that was one of the main objectives of this whole heist. Then… why did it feel like an empty victory? Probably because of Falcomon’s next words. He was right, wasn’t he? It was stupid to even think he had a chance on beating a member of the Kogoro Clan. It was silly to consider someone like him could actually save the day. If it was so ridiculous to even think about it. If it was something he should already know… why was he crying? “So refreshing! That cold water you create is perfect for hot days!” “Hehe! I can keep you warn during the winter too! I can create water of any temperature.” “W-What!? That’s incredible, Arniki! I think you could save so many lives with that skill!” “M-Me? Haha! Of course not, Okimi. I couldn't ever save anyone.”
He was actually going to die here, wasn’t he? Well, it had been a good life, after all. Maybe a bit short. But at least he got to meet… her. Another groan of pain escaped Arthur, upon being pressed by the Falcomon’s foot claw. This one was longer and more intense. Then, another painful kick. Arthur rolled on the floor and ended up with his body facing up again. The seal clenched his teeth, while tears kept going down his face. He had always known it, after all. He knew he was useless. He knew he couldn’t save anyone. “I could never be one of those guys!”
“I don’t think it’s useful at all.”
“I couldn’t ever save anyone.”He had said it many times himself, hadn’t he? His blurry vision saw Falcomon leaping to a table, getting ready to strike a final blow. He was in so much pain he couldn’t even move. Much less could he dodge what was coming. This was it. No one was going to save him now. He was going to die like the useless digimon he always was. After all, if not even himself could believe in him, how could he ever accomplish anything? “I’m sorry… Okimi.” He muttered, closing his eyes, slowly. . . . Like a spark, a memory appeared inside his head. What was that? All of those times he had said what everyone knew: That he was useless, that he couldn’t get anything right. Those memories kept showing inside his head. Why? ... No, there was something else there this time. What was it? Oh… it was what Okimi used to say every time he said any of those things. What was it? Right now, it was almost as if he could listen to her voice inside his head. “You’re kidding, right? You could be anything you want."“I think it’s super useful! There’s a lot of power within you.”“You’re wrong! You could save anyone you want to save. I believe in you, Arniki!"
… She… believed in him? Of all people… Okimi believed in him. . . .
Arthur’s eyes opened up widely. Falcomon was spinning in a gust of fire, about to impale him. Right before he made contact, a massive burst of water impacted the bird digimon, sending him propelled against the roof of the wagon. The water moved so aggressively and fast it was impossible to dodge. Falcomon’s fire was immediately put off. He impacted the roof of the wagon but… he didn’t fall down. He was stuck there. “High pressurized water to make sure you can’t dodge my techniques!” Right now, it was almost like the Gomamon’s body was moving by itself! How could he even do this after being through so much pain? Was it… because of… her? By moving his paws, the seal shot another burst of water. Once it made contact with Falcomon, the bird would realize it was boiling. Ouch. “Hot water to heat the environment!”But that wasn’t all! The Gomamon moved his paws again, making another wave of water materialize on top of him, being shot against the bird! “Now, some cold water. Because when hot air is suddenly pressurized under low temperatures…” Well, he didn’t need to finish that sentence. As soon as the freezing water reached Falcomon… Boom.A huge explosion occurred. The whole train was shaking now and humid airwaves and water were going everywhere! Arthur had to cover his own body with his paws as the explosion was absolutely massive. When the smoke cleared, an unconscious Falcomon was laying on the ground. Arthur was panting. Now that such a rush of adrenaline was gone, the pain was starting to occupy his body again. But… he still had some work to do. “You know? I actually agree with you. I’m very useless, and I stand no chance against you.” He declared, showing a smile. He approached the Falcomon’s body and searched for the kunai. “But… it turns out…” The seal digimon walked away, making the key spin around one of his claws. “… I don’t need to believe in myself.
