"Yeah, that's right! Throw yourselves right off that deck, why don't'cha?" Shoutmon called after the fleeing digimon.
As Leith breathed a sigh of relief, though, Plesiomon checked on him quizzically. "I'm fine, Ples," the young man initially answered. "I'm fine," he continued to insist under his piercing gaze, but after that he understood what it was about. "Oh, I get it. Yeah, I know TV makes people in our situation feel bad for killing in defense but... the truth is I don't. I really don't. Think that's wrong?"
"Only if it gave you pleasure."
"Do I look happy to you?" He didn't. He was more annoyed and relieved but certainly not happy. "Plesiomon, you know better. Get in the way of what's good at your own risk, I say. Don't feel guilty for the right thing."
"Leith gets it!"
Plesiomon frowned but sighed in resigning as he and MegaSeadramon both devolved a stage. "Alright... stealth didn't work. Yay. New plan: be fast and kill anything that looks at us wrong."
"Leith..."
"If you want me to feel guilty, try and convince me after we're through here. Deal?"
"You don't have to do the killing!"
That gave Leith pause. It was true, and so was its actual point. "We can't debate this here, and we can't do it later if one of us dies. Got it?" This was survival instinct that made him stern; the clock was ticking, and the group had to move. "You other humans, listen up! We're wrecking this ship like the Titanic! If you get a chance, take cover and hide, or just surrender if you can't. Either way we're getting you out of this! Guys, we need to move." So, with varying levels of reluctance, the trio pressed onward on the path they had been on.
Plesiomon devolved to Champion ExVeemon. MegaSeadramon devolved to Champion Sonoramon.

"LEITH! Leith, where ARE you?!" Rebecca cried out as she, Agumon, Gabumon and the escaped human girl ran down the hallway in the direction Leith had initially gone down. "Come on, we have to find them and destroy this ship while they still don't know we're here!"
"How are you going to destroy a ship this big?" The girl asked. "You'd need government level weapons for that to even be possible. Or if you plan on crashing the ship, you'd have to worry about freeing everyone trapped here. In fact, how did you even get up here?!"
"We did not come alone," Gabumon told the human. "We brought a couple of friends with us."
"Did they happen to be someone with long hair? And two dragons? Because if so, they're the ones that tried to free the people and they're most likely captured like the others by now." Right after she finished, the group paused to see an entire troop of Gladimon run right past them, all of them too scared to even stop to realize that there were free humans. "...okay, whatever your friend did, we need more of that."
"Count on it, baby," Agumon bragged with confidence as they kept running, making Gabumon groan in annoyance. After more running, the group finally caught up to Leith, ExVeemon and Sonoramon.
"LEITH! Leith, there you are! What were you THINKING, setting off an alarm like that?! You KNOW what the knights are capable of doing!"
"White Wolf?" The siblings scolded Rebecca, trying to make her get back on track.
"But none of that matters anymore. Look, this girl here saw everything. There's a reason that RedMagnamon and the Knights are kidnapping humans... they're working on a disintegration device. And the humans? THEY'RE the test subjects!"

"That's... unspeakable."
"Someone's gonna hurt for this!"
Grizzly as those thoughts were, Leith had his own to struggle with and, momentarily, ignore. "Look, that sucks and everything, but that isn't relevant to our situation. We already knew we were stopping RedMagnamon; we don't need any more justification right now." Leith took a moment to glare at the strange girl then. "You need to learn how to tell friends from enemies. Lesson one: if they don't destroy an escapee on site, they might be friendly. You damn near got us all killed running away. If you like your limbs the way they are, meaning attached to your torso, you're gonna stick close for your own safety here on. Deal?" Leith was getting more riled up the more he talked, and despite his calm tone his expression and body language gave him away. "Guys we're blown. Splitting up isn't advantageous anymore. Stay close and watch each other's backs. Now let's get back to searching before we get ambushed here!"

"So when a giant monster comes, I'm supposed to do what? Stand there?" The girl fought back, clearly not tolerating being lectured by someone like Leith. "Besides, I don't even CARE about myself! What I do care about is my little sister. She is only nine years old, and she is one of the prisoners on this ship! She's going to get vaporized if I don't help her, and I can't exactly do that if I am dead, now can I? And as I recall, YOU set off the alarms in the first place!"
"ALL OF YOU SHUT UP!" Agumon suddenly yelled, ending the argument right there. "We are on a ship full of armor-wearing psychopaths and you two just stand there and argue?! Not. Cool."
"He has a point," Rebecca admitted. "And Leith has a point, too. I think we should head right for the knights themselves, while being weary of their mind control. And you..." She looked towards the human, not knowing her name.
"My name is Rey. I still need to look for my sister. I won't feel secure until she's safe."
"I understand," White Wolf says as she smiles. Taking out her Digivice, she digivolved Gabumon into KendoGarurumon. "KendoGarurumon, I want you to go with Rey and find her sister. As soon as you find her, and that they are both safe and secure, come right back to us. You'll know where we are."
"I will do my best, White Wolf," KendoGarurumon states as he kneels down to let Rey board him ("Holy crap..." Rey muttered to herself as she did), and the two of them left.
"Alright, so... where do you suppose the big bads are?" Agumon asks curiously.
"Not a clue," White Wolf sighs. "...wait a minute! Adrian's message!" She immediately pulled out her D-Terminal. "It has a tracking signal on it! We follow the signal, we find him and RedMagnamon! Let's go!" Rebecca and Agumon immediately began running in the direction that the signal was from.
However, as they approached a crossroads with three directions, one going left, one up and one right, a Crusadermon suddenly came out of the path on the right, seemingly on patrol. Luckily he didn't notice them yet, so they still had time to either run or hide. What would they do, however?

"Y'know, you probably could'a thought of that."
"Not the time, Shout."
"Well you wasted all our time."
"You didn't think of it either!"
"Guys! We need to go."
Apparently, Leith's digivice was able to track Adrian more precisely than just being on the ship. Too bad it didn't have a convenient schematic of the vessel, but it did show Adrian's location in three dimensions relative to his own. That was enough to at least get the group started on the right path. Too bad there turned out to be a very deadly obstacle in the way. "Down." Leith acted duck himself behind what he thought was a blind corner joined by his partner digimon. That's definitely higher than champion. I don't wanna deal with that guy if I don't have to, especially when Rebecca went and split us up again. Hopefully Rebecca and Agumon were fast enough to stay out of sight, too.

"Shit shit shit shit shit," Rebecca hoarsely whispered as she and Agumon went to hide the same corner as Leith to hide from the Crusadermon. She was NOT expecting that to happen at all. She had to draw his attention somewhere else somehow. "Think it's one of the big and stupid types?"
"You mean the type that will fall for any trick in the book?" Agumon whispered, "I mean, possibly. What did you have in mind?"
"Watch this," Rebecca asked, smirking as she yelled, "Hey! Someone stop them! Those humans are getting away?!"
"What?! You can't be serious!" The Crusadermon cried as he began running in a random direction, honest to God thinking he was chasing after some runaway human. After he was gone, Rebecca got up and smirked at Leith and the others.
"I'm not just a pretty face you know," Rebecca joked. "Now come on, let's go!" And with that, the group continued their pursuit until they reached the end of the hallway, which had a large electronic door waiting for them. Upon opening it, this is what the group would be faced with: a large room that acted as the front of the ship, with a large window showing the vast sky in front of them, with a section of the room designated to the controls of the ship, the "cockpit" as it were. In this room would also be five figures; three larger ones that were free and two smaller ones in cages, one in a hanging cage from the ceiling and one in a glass dome from before.. In front of the glass dome was a strange raygun device, something like no one had seen before.
"So this device does what, exactly?" A familiar voice asked a knight in black and gold armor. This voice came from a large red dragon wearing golden armor. RedMagnamon.
"It's simple, Red," the knight explained in a deep voice, "this device pulls apart the molecules of living things one by one, effectively destroying the being altogether. It can hit multiple targets at once, and they will all cease to exist within ten seconds."
"You could, y'know, finally teach those dweebs who killed Lia a lesson," A recognizable Digimon, Dianamon, added as well.
"Yes... does it work, is the question?"
"Allow us to show you," the black knight said as he went over to the raygun device. As he did so, the human that the device was pointed at began to freak out, sobbing greatly as he begged for freedom.
"No! Please! You can't do this! I have a family! A wife! A child! YOU CAN'T DO THIS, YOU MONSTERS!"
"You don't get to call us monsters, you insolent worm," RedMagnamon growled at the crying human. "It's your kind's fault that my village was killed, that my best friend was killed. You liberated my home. I'm just returning the favor."
As soon as RedMagnamon had finished talking, the raygun was now finished firing up. The black knight aimed it right at the human, and-
"No, you can't!" The human in the hanging cage cried. It was Adrian! "Shoutmon, don't do this. You're better than this! This isn't you!"
"Listen here, kid; the Digimon you knew before never existed. This is who I am, and I don't care a single bit about you or other humans. The only reason you're not dead is because I need you to stay in this form. Alphamon, fire the raygun already!"
"They're... they're going to kill him!" Rebecca gasped. "Leith, we need to Digivolve our Digimon now!"

"What do you know? All that time as an idol playing people for fools really came in handy," was probably the closest thing to a compliment Leith was capable of giving in the moment that the patrolling knight was fooled into fleeing the area. Of course, he couldn't stay there too long. They were still on a mission. Unfortunately, they succeeded. "Alright, it's clear which one is RedMagnamon..." It was the red one who needed Adrian. Duh. If people are this close to death, Omni is a clear and present danger to be neutralized by any means necessary. He's also demonstrated a capacity to die and still revert to this state. That means-
While Leith struggled with the thought, Sonoramon was able to say it out loud with no apparent hint of remorse. "We gotta delete him."
"What?"
"Now! Sonoramon, digivolve to..."
ExVeemon could only manage to growl his frustration. He decided to keep his struggle with the thought internal like Leith did, but in any case a move had to be made. "ExVeemon, digivolve to..."
"...MegaSeadramon!"
"Plesiomon!" Plesiomon couldn't very well just charge forward easily, but he could use, "Hydroglobe!" to summon a giant, massive bubble of water right in the middle of the bridge that began to expand. Leith, fast on the uptake, knew this was very likely to flood the whole room and so donned his diving gear. Now that the environment was aquatic, Plesiomon was able to swim forward with amazing speed compared to his landspeed and get in the path of that ray gun in case Alphamon got a chance to fire it.
Hopefully he wouldn't, though, at least not if MegaSeadramon could do anything about it. "Whirlpool Spin!"
The chances of losing this fight were extremely high and extremely clear given the level difference in play, but what choice did anyone involved have? If we're gonna die anyway... Leith tried to dart around the whirlpool to reach Adrian with the intent of seeing what he could do about that cage. At least the other human should have been safe from drowning if he was kept in a glass globe. "Adrian, have I ever mentioned that your partner is a huge fucking asshole?"
Plesiomon flooded the bridge with Hydro Globe. -Hydroglobe: While on land, this digimon compresses moisture in the air to create a giant bubble of water large enough to swim around in comfortably. While inside the hydroglobe, Plesiomon is considered to be underwater for the purposes of his or other digimon's abilities. The bubble of water stays intact for three posts before evaporating. Cooldown: 2 posts.
MegaSeadramon attacked Alphamon with Whirlpool Spin while underwater. -Whirlpool Spin: If used on land, This digimon slithers around an opponent a small tornado that damages opponents with wind damage. If used underwater, this digimon swims rapidly in a circle to create a whirlpool that sucks in opponents and deals water damage. Using this ability underwater boosts this ability's damage by 20% but also adds a cooldown of one post. -Damage was boosted by Twin Dragons. -Twin Dragons (Passive): Any post in which this digimon's twin does not use a damaging ability, this digimon's damaging ability strikes with the base damage of a non-twin digimon.
Hydroglobe must cool down: 2 posts remaining.
Whirlpool Spin must cool down: 1 post remaining.

"What an uncanny ability, being able to combine a compliment and an insult so seamlessly, getting both desired reactions," Rebecca said as she both patted his shoulder and stomped on his foot one by one. All joking aside, now it was time to get serious.
And getting serious is what ExVeemon and Shoutmon did, both of them Digivolving to Ultimate. They had a good plan in place, having Plesiomon use a Hydro Globe to make the place aquatic and MegaSeadramon using Whirlpool Spin to deal water damage. It would've worked... if Dianamon was not there.
Reacting vigilantly, the Mega Digimon aimed at the Hydro Globe and shouted "Arrow of Artemis!" Which was then followed by a beam of ice aiming directly at the water sphere, freezing it instantly and having it shatter to the ground, utterly useless. Thus, MegaSeadramon's Whirlpool Spin was noticed by the others, causing all three Mega Digimon to fall back in hopes of avoiding the attack.
Looking down at the Digivice in her right hand, Rebecca took a deep breath. "You ready for this, Agumon?"
"As ready as I'll ever be, White Wolf. Let's do this!"
Rebecca nodded as she extended her right arm outwards. "Agumon, warp digivolve!"
"Agumon, warp digivolve to... RizeGreymon!" And just like that, the small orange dinosaur was now a large cyborg dinosaur, with metallic wings and a gun for a left arm. This trio of invading humans and Digimon clearly was not making Omni happy.
"Damn it, it's the human's friends!" Omni yelled. "Delete them, now!"
"Trident Revolver!" RizeGreymon shouted, using his arm-gun to shoot three separate blasts at each of the Megas, colliding with each of them and causing them to scoot back a little, giving the other pair of twins a chance at getting the upper hand on them.
Meanwhile, while Rebecca went to go help the person in the glass globe, Leith ran over to reach Adrian... as he decided to make a terrible joke at the same time. "Now is NOT the time for that, Leith. Listen: I know a way we can beat Omni. He took one of the new cards I just bought: Tranquility. It'll completely destroy his urge to kill. I know he planted it on one of his cronies, but I don't know which one. Get the card and bring to me, and you'll have a shot of stopping him."

"Digi-modify! Renamon's-" Leith paused after he hastily swiped the card in his hand and tried to read the name of the ability he had just activated. "Kok- Kaku... oh, fuck it, just work!" It did. Ordinarily, Plesiomon would have been frozen solid inside the hydroglobe, meaning he would have taken the shockwave of the smash when it shattered. However, thanks to Leith's quick thinking and his digivice's knowledge of the right card for the right time, Plesiomon instead wound up in the middle of all three of those mega digimon with no ill effects but a slight chill. "Alright, Adrian, we got this. Team, focus fire on Dianamon! Becca, now would be an excellent time for Gabumon to get back here! Can you make it happen?" Of course, Adrian was still trapped, so Leith continued looking for ways to get him out. After all, the group didn't need him used as a hostage.
"This is for turning me against my best friend!" was the trio's only warning just as the plesiosaur slammed his long, thick tail hard on the ground. "Tailcracker!" On terra firms that attack might have been used to make rock shrapnel fly about. But in here? The metal floor would be torn up, likely causing flying blades to shoot out from around the tank of a digimon.
But there was one target that definitely couldn't afford to be allowed to leave the blast zone: Dianamon. She was the declared focus, after all. Therefore, MegaSeadramon rather than attacking tried to wrap his body around the mega and hold her in place tight. "You stay right where you are, honey!"
The insurmountable odds were not lost on the three of them based on level differences, but at this point the options available were instant death, delayed death, and improbable victory, and the first option was certainly off the table.
Leith used Renamon's Kohenkyo card to teleport Plesiomon in the middle of all three enemies, sparing him damage from Arrow Of Artemis.Plesiomon attacked all three enemies with Tailcracker while not underwater. -Tailcracker: When used underwater, this digimon whips its tail at an opponent, which slings water at the target in a straight line with a high velocity. When used on land, this digimon slams his tail onto the ground, causing an earthquake that dislodges loose boulders and send them flying in all directions like shrapnel from an explosion. On land, this ability's damage is increased by 20% but gains a cooldown of one post. -Tailcracker's base damage was boosted by Twin Dragons. -Twin Dragons (passive): Any post in which this digimon's twin does not use a damaging ability, this digimon's damaging ability strikes with the base damage of a non-twin digimon. MegaSeadramon attempted to use Serpent's Constrict on Dianamon. -Serpent's Constrict: This digimon wraps its body around the opponent and immobilizes them for a single post Cooldown: 3 posts.
Hydroglobe must cool down: 1 post remaining. Whirlpool Spin has finished cooling down. Tailcracker must cool down: 1 post remaining. Serpent's Constrict must cool down: 3 posts remaining.

"What?!" Omni yelled. "That human has a D-Arc just like the one in the cage... whatever you do, take him or his Digimon out!"
"Leith, you're a target now, run!" Adrian tried warning Leith from inside of his cage.
"Adrian, shut up and let us focus," Rebecca scolded Adrian and watched Plesiomon do his thing. The blue Ultimate level Digimon jumped into the air and slammed on the ground, in an attempt to trap the three Megas in a ring of sharp jagged metal. All three of them had sense to jump out of the way immediately, but Dianamon sadly was not able to as MegaSeadramon had tied her up as Plesiomon performed the attack.
"RRRGH! LET ME GO, YOU OVERGROWN SEA SNAKE!!!"
"Now's our time to attack!" RizeGreymon shouts. "RISING DESTROYER!" RizeGreymon's wings then directed themselves right at the Alphamon and blasts energy right at the black knight. The knight attempted to block the ray with his massive sword, but was still pushed back and eventually slams into the wall.
"Grrrr... Magma Blast!" Omni shouts, shooting a pure blast of fire at the Plesiomon while he isn't looking.

Fuck. Omni's order nearly made Leith run for his life, but it turned out he wasn't made the target of any attack... yet. Still, he had to take the time he had to take cover, but there was only one obvious place. "I have a better idea." Leith ran behind the cage keeping Adrian and shouted at the hostile digimon, "Ya can't blast Adrian, can you? You still need him! You said so!" before saying just to Adrian, "Sorry, man."
Plesiomon was indeed focused on Dianamon because that was the target he was told to focus on. Being so close to Omni, though, with that focus meant he couldn't react in time to the mega level's attack. Leith couldn't watch his friend get nailed by that hit, but he was barely able to turn around to see the result. "Ples!"
"That... hurts...!" Plesiomon lay down flat as a board, unable to get up after taking the hardest knock he'd ever felt in his life. "Stay... down." That was the last thing Plesiomon said before taking his own advice.
"Bastard!" MegaSeadramon was still hugging Dianamon, and boy was he pissed. He pulled out all the stops and tried the attack that failed to wipe out one of these knights last time. Shoutmon slithered in front of Plesiomon and circled around him, forming a protective barrier around his fallen comrade by coiling. "Don't touch him!" Plesiomon was hit by Magma Blast.Plesiomon is in too much pain to move. MegaSeadramon is charging Life Squeezer. -Life Squeezer: On the post this ability is activated, this digimon coils up defensively, becoming immobilized but reducing all damage he takes by half. In the next post, this digimon uses all of the muscle in its extremely muscular body to grab and squeeze the opponent tightly enough that the opponent's body may be crushed. Limit: Once per thread.

"Wait, what?!" Adrian yelled as Leith pulled a total bitch move and hid right behind Adrian's cage. "What the hell are you doing?" Apparently Leith's plan worked, as Omni growled when he hid behind the cage. So instead, he focused on the other Digimon.
The room became more silent as Omni's attack actually collided with Plesiomon. A Mega attack against an Ultimate like that was sure to send the latter into a world of pain, and that's exactly what happened. He screamed in pain as he fell to the ground, everyone in complete shock to just how powerful Omni really was. MegaSeadramon immediately went to protect Plesiomon by coiling up around him and charging an attack. RizeGreymon hovered right towards them as Omni and the recovered Alphamon walked towards them, with Dianamon still trapped in her circle of jagged metal.
"This is why I didn't want you getting involved, Leith," Adrian said in a hoarse voice, "because I don't want you all to get killed!"
"S-Stay back," RizeGreymon demanded, frantically aiming his gun at Omni and Alphamon, although the fear was prevalent in his eyes and voice. "O-Or I'll-"
"HOWLING STAR!" A sudden voice yelled before the two Knights became staggered by some kind of attack. Just then, a familiar looking KendoGarurumon hopped right in between the two opposing forces.
"Kendo..." Rebecca gasped, tearing up in happiness. KendoGarurumon then observed the situation: the group had done well so far, but it wasn't enough. They had to try...
"White Wolf, you must combine me and Rize," KendoGarurumon told his partner, "using DNA Digivolution!"
"DNA... Digivolution... wait, you mean like what Leith did back at the village?"
"Yes! Exactly that! And Leith-" Kendo looked right at the mentioned human, "once Plesiomon recovers, you must do the same! It's the only way we can stop this crazy Digimon!"
"That crazy Digimon is still my partner," Adrian yells, "so try not to kill him!"
"I'm not the sharpest bulb in the taco, but I'm preeeeetty sure that ship sailed a long time ago. Let's do this, White Wolf!"
"I'll try..." Rebecca then got out her Digivice and extended it. Concentrating hard, she then shouted the words: "DNA DIGIVOLVE!" Right at that moment, RizeGreymon and KendoGarurumon both turned into glowing bulbs of light which combined together.
"RizeGreymon!" "KendoGarurumon!" "DNA DIGIVOLVE TO... BOOTMON!"
A tall, robotic golden figure stood in place of the two brothers. It extended both of its arms out, one at Omni and one at Alphamon, and shouted: "COMBO BOOTUP!" And just like that, a ray of frost hit Omni and a ray of fire hit Alphamon. Omni simply used his fire fists to negate the effects, and Alphamon absorbed the fire with his sword. So it would take more than just Bootmon to save them now...

"No offense, Adrian, but if your friend survives the day my chances of getting killed go way up!" was Leith's answer to Adrian's first concern. "Not that they're currently low, because... they're not." That was before Adrian begged to spare Omni's life, and that was something Leith just couldn't abide. "DNA ultimate isn't gonna cut it here, guys! The firepower just isn't there!" he shouted before hissing at Adrian, "But no matter what, Adrian, let me be completely clear: in a battle where the stakes are lives, the penalty is death, especially if we find evidence of even one execution here. In a digimon who has died once before and tried again, the penalty has to be deletion. I don't care about your friendship or your personal feelings. Am I understood?" Good thing Plesiomon was too busy to disagree.
You're not wrong, but it's a bit too optimistic to talk about victory at this point, ain't it? MegaSeadramon thought but didn't say out loud. He didn't really have the time for such a luxury as chatter like his Tamer did. Unfortunately, right then he was forced to leave Plesiomon in order to launch his most powerful all-out move against Dianamon: "Life Squeezer!" The snake struck and tried to wrap himself back around Dianamon. This time, empowered by attack data, MegaSeadramon would try to squeeze her good and tight for as long as he could. He doubted that would finish her, but damnit if he had to at least try!
Now that he was exposed, Plesiomon tried to rise back up and get in the fight, but Leith could still see the pained expression on his face. "Plesiomon, stay down!" He couldn't leave the injured digimon out to dry, though, so he selected the card whose effect he thought would be best for keeping the plesiosaur safe until he could move more freely. "Digi-modify: Armor Of Earth!" Plesiomon's body became covered in thick, hard rocks all over with holes only for his fins, tail, eyes, and mouth; a very solid-looking defense. Leith didn't even know just how solid it was until he gave the card he just used a second look and only then noticed the rank attached to the card. "...wait a minute-!" The wheels turned in his head. There was only one way he could have successfully used a platinum-ranked card. He'd tried some before, but they never did anything before that moment. "...oh, my God."
The mega level was at their disposal.
Shoutmon attacked Dianamon with Life Squeezer. Leith used the Armor Of Earth card on Plesiomon. NS-32 Card Name: Armor of Earth Type: Modify Rank: Platinum Duration: 3 Posts Effect: Stones and earth assemble around the target Digimon, surrounding them in a powerful earthen carapace. While a very strong defense, it breaks apart as it is struck.
Plesiomon is protected by Armor Of Earth: 3 posts remaining.

"That's why you NEED to find the Tranquility card," Adrian argued back with Leith. "The knights fighting with Omni, yeah, kill them if you can. But finding the card might actually do something. Omni's all about fighting and violence, so if we quell that, then all traces of Omni should go away too. It's a longshot, but it's at least something to try! I'm NOT going to be losing the best friend I ever made, Leith! Not from Omni, not from deletion... not from anything!"
Leith then tried arguing against going DNA Ultimate, which KendoGarurumon argued with him before DNA Digivolving himself. "Leith, twin Digimon are stronger when they form together! JUST DO IT!"
"Alright, these freaks are SO going down," Dianamon said angrily as she got out her bow weapon. However, she completely misjudged MegaSeadramon's speed, because before she even realized it she was now entrapped by him, being squeezed very hard. Dianamon tried her best to try to free herself, but MegaSeadramon's strength seemed weirdly amplified, probably from charging the attack. Eventually, she lost consciousness and fell down to the ground. And as she did, something flew out of her hand.
The Tranquility card.
It's right there! Rebecca gasped as she saw the card fly away. Turning around to Leith, she attempted to signal him where the card was before immediately charging after it. She was a mere few feet away from it before Alphamon stabbed his sword right in between her and the card.
"Where do you think YOU'RE going, Miss Wolf?" Alphamon growled, pulling his sword right up and swinging it down on Rebecca. Thankfully she dodged right out of the way and continued to pursue the card, but the exact same thing happened immediately afterward. "You really need to come up with something more original, darling."
"Don't call me that, you skeez," Rebecca yelled at the black knight, "if anyone here is unoriginal it's you, fighting to take over the world for Omni. What did he even offer you, anyways?!"
"Just the satisfaction of watching lowlives die. You humans are inferior to us Digimon, and it's a wonder how your species is even still alive. Think of what we're doing as saving you from this retched life."
"Okay, you can shut up now," Bootmon said before slicing at Alphamon with a Cutlass of Cold that they had just made, making Alphamon scream in pain from the cold.
"...grrr... you want a duel? Fine. HERE'S YOUR DUEL!" Alphamon angrily yelled before both his and Bootmon's swords collided, signalling the start of a swordfight.
Now was the point where Omni had had enough. Growling, he looked right over at Adrian and Leith, stomping over to them and simply pushing away Adrian's cage ("Oh shiiiiit!" Adrian had yelled as he tumbled around) and glared right at Leith.
"You. Are. MINE." Little did he know, Leith's Digimon could now go Mega... MegaSeadramon used LifeSqueezer on Dianamon. Dianamon is now unconscious.
Bootmon used Cutlass of Cold to form a sword of ice, which will last for three posts.

"We'll see what happens," was the most that Leith could promise Adrian under that premise. Unfortunately, it seemed like that was where the conversation ended because the RedMagnamon rather rudely interrupted it. "Oh, God-!"
"Don't touch him!" MegaSeadramon threatened from too far away to do anything. The best Plesiomon could do was raise his head, look back, and gasp. "No..." "Damnit, RedMagnamon, is this what you pictured when we drop that Elecmon?" At this point Leith was making a Hail Mary, hoping to appeal to the Shoutmon he knew and relying on Adrian's claim that they really were two entirely different people. It was his only hope, so he thought. As he backed up, he went on, "You have no idea how much Shoutmon smiled when you gave him that new microphone! Are you gonna make him fight you to the death one goddamn week after?" Worst-case scenario, he hoped he was just stalling for time. The truth was that, in fact, he thought he did earn enough time for MegaSeadramon to either grab the card he knocked loose or come to his Tamer's aid. The problem was he was frozen, indecisive about which to choose.
"Back... back away from him!" Plesiomon suddenly declared that before finally getting his second wind. It seemed like his decision was made. In fact, there was a determination in his eyes even under the mask of boulders that neither Leith nor probably anyone else had ever witnessed before. "Stay away from my friends!" Plesiomon's eyes turned white. Then the entire rest of him turned white, engulfed in that light of digivolution once again. MegaSeadramon caught onto what was happening and only then let the motionless body of Dianamon go, attempting to enter the same state... and succeeding. "Plesiomon, digivolve to..."
"MegaSeadramon, digivolve to..."
"Fuck, run!" Leith went and took off away from Omni, then. He knew the danger zone had just gotten a whole lot wider. He wasn't just running away from the battle, though; he was trying to pursue that card. "Guys, you gotta cover me!"
"...Magnadramon!"
"...Examon!"
There was a wild sort of rage in the blue dragon's eyes as his new, more mobile form crossed the distance between himself in Omni in one big leap. "No one hurts my friends! Not even you! Arbiter's Dictum!" This attack had no obvious effect, but if Omni made the mistake of catching Magnadramon's eye like he intended, Omni was certain to feel the weight of all his own evil come crashing down on his mind at once and despair of it.
That left one digimon who was still not contained well. Rebecca and company could try their best, but the red dragon knew the odds were still heavy against them. So, he joined to help in the fight against Alphamon. Ideally, this would keep both digimon too busy to stop Leith from running after Tranquility. "Pick on someone your own size, Alphamon!" was his attempt to get the knight's attention before hoping to make eye contact and declaring, "Punisher's Sentence!" Ideally this would have a similar effect as his twin's attack with one key difference: while Magnadramon attacked the mind, the pain Alphamon would feel would have been all over his body and completely physical.
Plesiomon digivolved one stage to mega Magnadramon. Oh, fuck.MegaSeadramon digivolved one stage to mega Examon. Holy shit! Plesiomon attacked Omni with Arbiter's Dictum. -Arbiter’s Dictum: Just by making eye contact with an opponent, this digimon can cause an opponent’s mind to be wracked by inconsolable guilt and despair, a result of all times they should have felt guilty in their life being felt all at once. This attack’s damage is boosted by 50%. Cooldown: 2 posts.
-This attack's speed, accuracy, and damage are all boosted by 3.33% due to Impeccable Luck. MegaSeadramon attacked Alphamon with Punisher's Sentence. -Punisher’s Sentence: Just by making eye contact with an opponent, this digimon can cause an opponent’s body to be wracked by pain all over, their comeuppance for all wrong they’ve done in life. This attack’s damage is boosted by 50%. Cooldown: 2 posts.
-This attack's speed, accuracy, and damage are all boosted by 3.33% due to Impeccable Luck.
Examon, Magnadramon, and Bootmon all benefit from Impeccable Luck.
-Impeccable Luck (passive): Magnadramon seems to have some mystical power to bring good luck to himself and whoever he favors. This digimon gains 10% damage, accuracy, and speed. When up to two allies are within a 200-foot radius, the boost is divided between them and Magnadramon equally.
Both twins are using Stand Together.
-Stand Together (passive): These two twin digimon have grown so close that they practically feel each other's pain. For this reason he and his twin's endurance are shared rather than separate. This means he will not fall unless his twin falls, but it also means he shares damage equally with his twin.
