X2! The Red Bomber enters the scene! (Hunt)

Some days have passed since Eleonora fell to the digital world and started exploring, she had a couple of days to get to know her partners and understand the task they have at hand, while the gears did not share much and won't until they achieve the X2 evolution, but one thing was for sure they knew about her father and have some involvement with the Decode Network but for now it was time to take a break and go back to the human world.
They went back to Terminus and directly to the trail on station, while waiting for the train she overhear a conversation, normally she wouldn't pay attention but the name of the X Digimon came in and she had to listen to it.
“Yes, the next test will start in the folder desert, I will put an end to the runaway experiment and catch that Tyrannomon the network has eyes on”
Bingo! That's definitely the decode network, catching and experimenting with Digimon no doubt the same group the twins escape, now they are after another experiment that has run too! That might be her new partner if she convinces it to work together against the Network.
She hid the gears on the Xros Loader and follow the man into a different trailmon, instead to the human world the new destiny was Rustport Town, the german girl follow the man closely yet with enough space to not be suspicious, the scientist had short messy black hair and was wearing a white lab coat with the initials DN, beside him was a little Digimon his true form was kind of hard to detail since it was wearing what it looked like a wolf pelt, it had a really fluffy tail but more interesting a large horn on the head and the left arm had a bigger and longer claws than the right arm.
The trip to Rustport took a couple of hours, it was a little boring to be honest, she was focus on that scientist hoping to hear something if he had another conversation but sadly she didn't hear anything, in the end the German girl decided to just close her eyes and doze off a little, she woke up just in time as the trailmon was announcing the stop on Rustport, Eleonora waited some minutes before leaving creating some space between her and the target although it was easy to do in the station and later on the town once the man went to the desert things were going to get complicated.
Fortunately her partners are able to detach the mini gears on their head and scout or follow someone, releasing the gears from the Xros Loader and did exactly that, the KoGears should be able to pass unaverted while Leo and the twins stay on a safe six meter distance, the heat of the desert was something the German girl did underestimate although and to be fair she did not expect come to this place after half an hour walking in the sand Leo felt like passing out, this wasn't the weather she is use to and wearing a jacket and mainly dark clothes was a terrible idea.
After an hour more the twins receive a message from the KoGears it seemed that their target has engage battle with the runaway “experiment” Leo should hurry up now three against one is a huge advantage that they can't miss, rushing towards the scene the German girl saw the same scientist but now his partner was different, he looked like a fierce wolf but on the back had some metal blades growing, the digimon they were facing was really small looked like a little ball of metal with arms and legs the most interesting aspect was the big face that can be describe it as a smiley.
"So, you think because you brought s big dog you'll ne able to take me down?" the little Digimon said “The Mamemon species might look small and weak but we are able to go beyond our limits! WE ARE ULTIMATE LEVEL AND MUTANTS TOO MY POWER GO BEYOND YOUR UNDERSTANDING!” The Mamemon was confident that's for sure
“And that's why the network target you, but sadly the moment the X antibody enter your body your power decrease greatly, as of now you're nothing but a Rookie and a useless one”
One the talk was done the fight begun but not between those two, no, Eleonora took her chance to order the twins to attack, both gears shoot their drills at the Garurumon X and landed a direct hit but the wolf did not flinch, Mamemon X join the attack with a barrage of punches but Garurumon X hardly felt anything and blasted the little steel ball with a freezing ball of energy
“A little rude from your part to intervene in our fight, I'll take you're a random tamer trying to do the-” The man interrupted himself once he realized who were the gears beside Eleonora. “How lucky I'll end up getting rid of three experiments instead of one” The scientist talked with an air of smugness that made Eleonora want to punch him. “Did Schmidt send you?” He finally ask
"Not really, I'm just a girl looking for answers, and seems you have them, Gurren! Lagann! Help the othere digimon!"
The gears nodded and float towards Mamemon standing one in each side, the little ball smiled once the twins come in his aid, normally he wouldn't accept help but for this case he'll make an exception, the more the merrier after all
“I never expected reinforcements but you seem to be fighting for what's right and as a great hero and ally of justice I couldn't be more happy to have you by my side, now… TIME FOR OUR CORES TO ROAR AND CHARGE TO THE BATTLE PUTTING AN END TO THIS EVIL DOERS” Said the X Digimon charging against the Garurumon.
The wolf open his mouth and release another freezing blast which Mamemon dodge side stepping and was catch by Solarmon X Solar Burst, the energy beams clashed and for a moment it seemed that both had the same strength but soon the freezing blast of Garurumon X started over powering the one of Lagann, Mamemon acted quickly and run delivering from above a punch in the face forcing the wolf to close his mouth and interrupt the attack and seconds after that the solar burst hit.
A curtain of sand was lifted from the explosion it seemed that the teamwork made it but sadly the Garurumon X arise from the sand barely scratched and with a quick leap it got close to bit Solarmon and start freezing it, Burden shoot his darkness gears but the wolf did not release its twin until it stop moving, he then focus on Hagurumon but before he could do anything it was tackled by the Mamemon that fell from the sky like a comet, that attack did hurt the wolf but at the same time it put Mamemon out if the battle having only enough strength to barely stand up, Burden stan in the middle of the wolf and its frozen sibling and Mamemon X.
Meanwhile Leo start feeling desperate this battle wasn't going as expected, how was that thing so powerful, the mocking laugh of the scientist at every futile attack they did was also irritating, if only they could evolve normally… Wait! Evolution that's it! The german girl reached for Xros Loader and would you know it, the device was shining

Without a second thought Leo press the middle button of the Xros Loader and a light engulfed Hagurumon X and Mamemon X combining them, the end result was Mamemon shining with a new armor a hand canon and a claw
“You're going to regret starting this fight, this is the power of the union of two strong wills working as one ready to go through the pat of victory and if you put an obstacle on our path we'll blast it away, THIS IS THE POWER OF X2!” The boasting speech was no doubts from mamemon. “MetalMamemon the Red Bomber has arrived!”

And then the second round begun, MetalMamemon shoot some kind of tractor beam that hold Garurumon from the metallic blades of his back, once it was close enough the red bomber stab the wolf on the face with his claw, then started charging energy on its canon but Garurumon counter attacked with one of his vicious bite, sadly for the wolf the metal armor was unscratched and was at point blank position to receive a direct hit of the energy bomb.
From that point the battle was pretty even, surely MetalMamemon was stronger and was making damage but unless the wolf made a terrible mistake it was hard to tell who was going to win, Lagann Finally unfroze and with a well aimed Solar Burst distracted the Garurumon X for the red Bomber to deliver a final shit turning the canon into a Flamethrower, the wolf reversed back to Tsunomon and the man was defenseless now.
“You better start answering, what's the plan of the Decode Network and what happened to professor Schmidt?” Eleonora demanded
“You're a fool if you think I'll talk to a kid about our plans” The man remained calm “Schmidt was an idiot that fail to see the potential we have at our hands, I'll say this as a warning stay away from the network or you're gonna make a powerful enemy of which you alone won't be able to stop”
That said the man picked up the Tsunomon and before the group could react a Birdramon took the scientist out of the scene, MetalMamemon aim and shoot his psycho Blaster hitting the Phoenix down, for the looks of it it was going back to Rustport so the group should go there as fast as possible.
The DigiXros also finished and Leo could introduce herself and the gears to Mamemon, she explain the situation and that they need his strength for the army.
“Kamina's the name and I accept the invitation to join this team, you'll be the brain and I will be the muscle, from now we'll work together to brought down the evil doers and bring justice to the digital world, TODAY THE BRAVE HEART ARMY IS BORN!!”
