Mao was pretty sure she had wound up on a Trailmon headed to some places she had never heard of on account of Vemmon seizing control of her sprite-form again. At least, that was her general consensus for every time she's wound up somewhere odd with no recollection of how she got there...
The single-eyed Vemmon noted that the train had stopped, and despite also being unsure if she had been alone or not, and she found herself exiting onto...Some kind of launchpad? "...Holy shit, I think I wanna go home already..." Mao mumbled. There were whales with rockets present...Where could those possibly end up going? The same place everything else that probably explodes does?
The Vemmon took a few steps forward and tried to peer around. Hopefully a crowd didn't just up and come out of the trains...Except it kind of did. A crowd in which she felt like she was drowning in.

The moon! A whole new frontier for science! Ayumi was thrilled to find out that there was a *train* going there! Only a select few people on Earth ever set foot on the moon, yet in the Digital World it was integrated into the public transport system! Just one more reason why the Digital World ruled! She clutched her ticket excitedly as she joined the crowd pooling into the rocket. "Oh boy, the moon! I cannot believe that I am going to set foot onto the satellite of a planet! I'm gonna go where no angel has gone before!" Solomon, who was rather less enthusiastic, looked at a Piddomon in the crowd, but did not mention it. "There are a lot of rocks there. What could be so interesting there?" "Well, that's up to us to find out, eh?~" "Hm. I guess you are right." Despite being so short, Ayumi's paleness made her quite a standout among the crowd!

The one-eyed creature began wandering towards the rocket, and, inevitably, despite some vehement protesting from the spirit, returned to the form of a human. Much taller. And much, much more capable of taking the sights of the place in. And with the addition of height, the spirit wielder began to press on forth. Obviously her next destination would be towards the rocket--if Vemmon had gotten her in this mess, naturally she was going to see exactly how far she could go on her own free will.
At least, before a alien steals hold of it again. That train of thought quickly stopped when Mao felt something--no, someone bump against her. Something way shorter than her, at that. Actually, no, SHE bumped into someone! "Gah! Sorry!"

"Oof!" Ayumi fell onto her backside when Mao bumped into her. Being as short and frail as she was, it was easy to knock her over. Solomon immediately turned and took her hand to help her up. "Are you alright, Ayumi?" "Ah, yeah, don't worry!" She brushed herself off then turned to Mao. "Oh, don't worry! That could have happened to anyone." She gave a smile, then looked over the girl that had bumped into her. A girl looking rather similar to her, just taller and not pale... ...aaaand she blushed. Recognising *why* it happens had unfortunately not stopped it. The things years of suppression did to you were not that easy to shake. "So I g-guess you're off to the moon too?"

That was not the most pleasant way to meet someone. Or the most pleasant situation to have found yourself in. On either end. Mao was about to move to help the lady she bumped into up but found that her Monodramon was helping her already. That takes care of that. "I don't think that makes it okay. Could've been watching out a little better..." At least she seemed alright.
...Why's she so pale? It's like you but worse. Vemmon's voice echoed in Mao's head. The alien...didn't understand what albinism was. Unlike Mao. "Yep! Friend of mine asked me to go up there and see how it was like." A bit of a lie. But not entirely so. "What about you?" Mao looked kinda oblivious to Ayumi's blushing, too.

Ayumi avoided looking into Mao's face, lest her blush grew worse. WHile her interest in girls was now no longer a mystery that frustrated her and fed her self-loathing, it was still a problem, as now she blushed in the presence of any pretty girl. She giggled nervously. "Ah, that's simple! I'm the Head Researcher at the Digital Field Club! I want to be the first to explore and research the Moon now that it's so easily accessible!" She pulled an Infinistorage out of her backpack and pulled various instruments and gadgets from it, showing them off. Solomon's nostrils flared. He could smell something foul about this girl. He could not put his finger on it, but there seemed to be something...off about her.

Both the wielder and the spirit were a little oblivious as to why the girl wasn't looking at Mao entirely. "Head resear--...Oh, I think I've heard about that club before. Big moving library in the plains, right?" It had been quite vague, but Mao did hear something about that...From a newspaper.
And this pale, tiny person wanted to explore the moon. Talk about a desire of astronomical proportions that was about to end up becoming reality. Mao looked at each gadget being shown off. Wait, did she invent those herself? The girl looked a little bewildered.
Solomon, meanwhile, received another indicator that something was off. Briefly, a single, green eye seemed to form from nothing near Mao, before it disappeared. An indicator that Vemmon was awake--and watching.

"Oh, you heard of us from a newspaper? I guess Amy really did release that article of our fossil hunt in her newspaper...well, that at least means I gotta explain less!" She stuffed her gadgets back into the Infinistorage cube. "I am so excited to see the moon! It's almost impossible to get to the Moon in the real world! I wanna collect all sorts of samples! Old records of ancient battles with demon lords and royal knights even hint that there are flowers up there! I would be most intrigued to study actual life on the Moon!" While Ayumi was bursting with enthusiasm, Solomon stared at the green eye. His blue eyes flashed briefly when the eye appeared, then when they disappeared the Monodramon pointed with two fingers at his own eyes, then pointed those fingers at where Vemmon's eyes had been. This confused Ayumi greatly, but she shrugged it off.

"I mean, it's...not the actual moon, and we're not in the 'real world.' So...It's going to be interesting to see regardless." Mao nodded. "I'm also kind of curious as to what's...on the moon of the Digital World. Like, not from a scientific perspective but an actual 'okay what used to be here and what's here now' kind of viewpoint."
The eye stared right back at Solomon before it disappeared. Mao noted the Monodramon pointing at her for some reason, but she couldn't put a finger onto why. "Actual life...What do you think that'd be? Aliens?" ...If the answer -was- aliens then hopefully not like Vemmon.

"Yeah, well, its the closest thing to the actual moon, so bleh!" Ayumi huffed adorably and crossed her arm. Solomon patted her arm.
"A new frontier is always exciting to explore! I do have the theory that the Moon will house Digimon species that adapted to the lower gravity environment! Maybe they are taller, with thinner limbs! I doubt they'd be *aliens*, though, even Vademon and Ebemon are native to the planet!" She looked over to the train station. "We better get to the station now, before we have to stand inside the train car the entire way to the moon!"

"It's probably the closest moon we'll ever see." Mao SNERKED a little bit before an actual question that one could consider 'good' popped up.
Did this place count? "Hey...Wouldn't the Digital World be considered a new frontier, too? Like...As a whole?" Hell, weren't Digimon themselves considered aliens, when you really thought about it? Interesting theories and whatnot aside... "...Oh, shoot, yeah. We need to actually take that train to the moon. We'll see about those long-armed guys when we get there."
...Wasn't she forgetting someth--...SHIT. "OH! Right, before I forget, I'm Mao. Kita Mao, nice to meet you!"

Ayumi chuckled. "Oh, nice to meet you, Mao! I am Ayumi! Ayumi Sakata! And this is Solomon, my good partner!" Solomon bowed. "Uh, Solomon is my name, not my species. It often causes confusion." Ayumi chuckled again, then made her way to the train. "Come on, y'all!"
Ayumi had managed to nab three seats for the three of them, in spite of the fullness of the train. Being short and sneaky had its advantages sometimes! "Aaaaah, great, now all we gotta do is wait!" With that, she reached into her backpack, and pulled out a book. It was the Japanese translation of Paradise Lost.

"Nice to meet you too! And...well, if I didn't know you're already a Monodramon, I'd have thought otherwise." Mao pushed her glasses up as she followed Ayumi to the train. Seems she had found a companion to share this trip with. One that wasn't...An alien. In her head. Speaking of that...
As the short and sneaky girl had secured seats, and Mao took hers next to the girl--The same single eye appeared once more, spying on the book. The specter of the alien had never seen a book before...And he was quite mesmerized.
Mao herself was unaware of this. Entirely. So, it was up to Solomon, likely, to point this out.

It was not the book one would expect a scientist to red, being all about religion and stuff, what a curious little contrast!
As for Solomon, he spotted the eye, and stared at it. In his mind, this was an evil, possessive force, but to be sure he needed to ask Mao. If she was aware of it, then it couldn't be an evil possession after all. "Ahem, Miss Mao, I wish not to alarm you, but there appears to be a green eye floating in the air behind you." The only reason he didn't attack immediately was because his run-ins with Amy had taught him that not all Spirits were contend with doing nothing but granting their user their power.

Indeed, it was pretty strange to find a scientist reading about religious themes...Mao then blinked at Solomon. "Uh...Huh?" Upon being pointed out, the eye gained...more. More as in more of what the eye truly was began to form. In time, Vemmon--or what could be described as an apparition looking like the spirit, seemed to be coming out of Mao's side.
"I'm not an eye. Stop that." The alien chided, folding his arms like a...human would? Did he pick that up from something? "...Oh, that. That's nothing to worry about, honest!"
It probably was. "It's just a spirit." No, really, just a spirit! Not a voice in her head that told her to go here and do things!
