Unica wasn't hysterical or too terribly upset, but she was concerned for her friends' well-being, especially on account of "Operation: Yeet the Dog" being her plan. The dragon-fox called a time-out and reassured the young tamer that everything was fine. That was a relief. Unica smiled upon hearing this, and she proceeded to giggle and blush when the purple Digimon complimented her throw. She turned her body left and right and back again in a display of bashfulness. Receiving such praise was flattering and, if she was being honest, a bit overwhelming. Things were made even better when the Captain rubbed up against her leg, silently comforting her in his own adorable way.
Unica's giggles became more high pitched and giddy as she reached down and stroked the puppy's head. "You're a good boy! Good boy. Not hurt, right?" she asked, tilting her head this way and that as she half-heartedly looked for any visible injuries. Even though Fuu had reassured her that "Xiamon" was alright, Unica had no idea who this "Xiamon" was. It wouldn't have taken much deducing to arrive at the conclusion that the Captain was "Xiamon," but the young tamer knew the canine Digimon only by the name she'd given him. "Okay. Okay. Good boy," she muttered while patting the Captain once more on the head and standing up. Without any warning, Unica suddenly turned on her heels and ran back the way she'd come from. "Time-in!" she hollered over her shoulder.

Truthfully, Fuu didn't think any wrongdoing had been done, but Unica was right to be concerned, she did just hurl a baby at his (adoptive) mom for the sake of tag, which was fine and all considering the durability of an In-Training Digimon, but might seem harmful in the eyes of the uninitiated. Perhaps Unica hadn't been here for too long.
She couldn't help but smile at the Xiamon's display of affection towards Unica, though. But! That did not stop her from running after Unica the moment she said time-in! The chase was on once more! Meanwhile, Bu was in a pretty rough spot, with her spear striking true, but now being caught in the path of Dinohumon's overhead slash. Yet, she was pretty capable of moving fast, twisting herself to the side in a rather brave effort to avoid the blade.
But, she was not quick enough. It was a glancing blow, one mitigated a touch by her armor, but a strongly delivered one nonetheless. The Ginryumon pressed on, clenching her front paws before she tried to deliver a good ol' one two to Dinohumon in response! Oof, ouch, Bu got hit by the nasty sword slash, but retaliates with Dash Double Claw.
Dash Double Claw: A series of quick blows utilizing Ginryumon's claws. For a brief moment, they seem less like the claws of a dragon and more those of a boxing-glove clad wolf. One turn cooldown.
Cooldowns: Boujinha: 2/3 Tekkoujin: 1/2

Big eyes stared back at Unica. Was the Captain injured? Not at all; the Xiamon was naturally bouncy, and it wasn't like he had been thrown too forcefully, so it was safe to say that he had pretty much emerged unscathed from the whole ordeal. So, in a gesture that showed a relatively high amount of understanding —at least by the dog's standards—, he nodded.
He kept on rubbing his body against the Unica's leg for a bit more time while she and Fuu discussed about something he couldn't quite understand. What he understood, however, was when the small blonde suddenly resumed the game as she began to escape from them. Who was supposed to be It now? Not like it mattered, in all honesty; the Captain just began to dash in Unica's general direction. Hope she was ready to get caught! The battle between Dinohumon and Buu had suddenly turned into quite the fierce affair! The two dragons were exchanging blows nonchalantly, and neither looked like they were about to give up! Could it be that the spar had turned serious? Probably.
In any case, the Gaogamon's dragon's attack had been succesful; Dinohumon winced in pain before twisting its body and looking to slap his opponent aside with a powerful blow. At least for now, it seemed like nobody was giving up! Dinohumon gets hit by Dash Double Claw, and then responds with Side Smash
Side Smash: Smashes the foe's side. Pretty simple, huh? Two turns cooldown.

The moment Unica called for the game to resume, both Digimon began to make their move to catch up with her. She had gotten a head start, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to outrun the dragon-fox for very long. She'd have to be clever if she wanted to escape. As much as the hated the idea of changing the rules halfway through the game, she was starting to get tired and she needed to rest. At the same time, she didn't want to stop playing. So, in order to compromise, she decided to do a sort of hide-and-seek/tag hybrid. She'd find a place to lay low and catch her breath, and once someone spotted her then she'd run away again.
Without looking back to see how close her pursuers were, Unica took a hard left, running away from the battlefields and back toward the front gates of the Spartan Training Grounds. She took another sharp turn between two tents before slipping inside of one. The Elecmon inside perked up with curiosity and concern upon seeing the tiny girl. "Duckling?" he asked, using Unica's nickname. Without answering, Unica got onto her belly and army-crawled under one of the cots. Once she was under it, with her tiny face peering out from the foot of the bed, she brought an index finger to her lips and indicated for the Elecmon to be quiet. Two sets of blue eyes turned toward the tent flap as the sound of footsteps approached.

Fuu was definitely able to keep up with Unica along with the Captain. An endeavor that had taken them to a rather interesting place, all things considered. A hard left away from the field and towards the front of the Training Grounds and Fuu had noticed that Unica had ducked into one of the multitude of tents that existed.
Right, people lived here, didn't they?
Regardless, this was now more than just...Tag. This was something different. She heard something from one tent, so she opted to go take a peek inside. Obviously, this would put her with Elecmon. With no Unica in sight (as far as she knew). "...Uhhh. Hi?" This was indeed a rather serious affair for a spar. That, or the combatants were really nonchalantly throwing equivalent amounts of power around like it was nobody's business. While Bu's strikes hit true, Dinohumon was one tough nut to crack, truth be told. The smash slapped Bu right in the side, letting a sonorous CLANG out as metal impacted metal.
Bu quickly regained her balance, a ways away from Dinohumon, and formulated a plan of sorts rather swiftly. She had to overwhelm Dinohumon, didn't she? So, she began to spin rather quickly, before another Ginryumon would appear. This...Was the mirror image. But it wasn't as perfect as it's source material would be, and neither of them seemed more real than the other, considering they looked exactly the same.
Relevant Passives:
Tactile Defense: Ginryumon's armor gives her a 20% bonus to damage reduction.
Bu tanks Side Smash and uses Mirror Image.
Mirror Image: Ginryumon appears to split into two. One is a fake, while the other is very, very real. The fake will copy the actions of the real one as long as it's around, but at 20% of the power that the original's would be at. The copy lasts for three turns, 3 turn cooldown.
Copy Duration: 0/3
Cooldowns: Boujinha: 3/3 Tekkoujin: 2/2 Dash Double Claw: 1/1 (I forgot this one.) Mirror Image: Waiting...

Indeed, it seemed like the trio wasn't quite playing Tag anymore. Was it more of a hybrid of hide and seek now? It was hard to say, and it wasn't like the Captain's brain could process it all, anyway. For now, he just followed Mom in hopes that she knew what they were doing collectively, and maybe in hopes of catching Unica once again! Thus, the Xiamon followed Fuu until they ended up by the entrance of a tent that was seemingly inhabited only by a lone Elecmon.
At least outwardly, truth was that the digimon could smell that something was afoot! Slowly, he adventured inside the tent and began to sniff the air. Unica was nearby! But the question was... where? He continued to use his nose to track her, but that'd take a bit of time. Better for the blonde to get ready to be spotted! What with Bu and Dinohumon, then? It seemed like the dragon's initial blow had been successful, even though he found himself in the wake of some trickery next! He observed as he found himself facing two Ginryumons instead of one, a fierce smirk taking over his features right afterward.
"Trying to outnumber your opponent, I see." He remarked, his tone still sagely despite its inherent strain. "Let's see if you can handle this!"
After a might jump, Dinohumon spun his blade, releasing a wind blade of sorts that was accompanied by the sword's actual slash. It looked to injure both Bu and the newly conjured illusion. Would that be effective, however? Dinohumon uses brave tornado in an attempt to injure both Bus.
Brave Tornado: Spins midair while slashing, generating a wind blade and hitting hard. Not to confuse with the attack with the same name that is generally used by WarGreymon. Cooldown of 3 turns.

The Elecmon offered an awkward smile when the Dorumon greeted him. "Hi," he replied, his gaze instantly darting to the cot Unica was hiding underneath. This subconscious act was brief and could have been missed if someone wasn't being attentive. "Looking for someone?" he asked, failing to hide the fact that he knew exactly what was going on and what game the trio were playing. Unica, meanwhile, held her breath as she watched the Captain sniff around the tent's interior in search for her. In an attempt to hide even better, she slid deeper under the bed and pulled her arms closer to ensure that her friends wouldn't be able to spot her unless they intentionally glanced underneath the cot. Her heart was pounding out of her chest, her adrenaline was racing, and her hands were sweaty. She knew she'd be discovered, it was only a matter of time, but she still held out hope.

It was at this point definitely safe to think that this had evolved beyond past a simple game of tag. No, with Unica having decided to employ the likes of subterfuge, this was now...Hide and Tag. This was by far the best and only name for such a sport, and none may convince the author otherwise.
Fuu nodded at the Elecmon. "Yes, actually. Small human girl, blonde hair. Um...I think she's my height...?" She wasn't sure how tall Unica actually was but the girl -was- the size of herself! It was probably safe to assume that Elecmon's attempt at a ruse didn't really work all too well, considering Fuu was trying to peer past him! Yep! That was exactly what she was trying to do, totally not trying to confuse the Dinohumon at all, no sir! Bu had not anticipated the most obvious reaction that one could have to such a maneuver, though. She watched as Dinohumon spun his blade with a mighty jump and probably plagarized from a WarGreymon in the process, generating a hardhitting tornado. What he might not have foresaw, however, was BOTH Bus surging into and through the blade, seeming to take it at half-effectiveness while they charged for him in an effort to slam into the saurian warrior.
Regardless, what would Dinohumon do? The Bus response to a tornado is obviously to Boujinha through it to try hitting Dinohumon really hard.
Boujinha: Ginryumon makes a charge for the enemy, using her armor to take any attacks being thrown at her at half-damage while aiming to slam herself into the enemy. Three turn cooldown.
Cooldowns: Boujinha: 0/3

As Mom Buu began with her interrogation shenanigans, Xiamon drew closer and closer to the bed, sniffing it intently until he finally decided to point at it on a decidedly dog-like way. Unica was definitely there, but he wasn't it, so there was no point on him venturing inside. What would Fuu do regarding that? This time, Dinohumon's defenses were fully exposed due to the toll that imitating a mega level his previous attack had taken on him; he did his best to dodge the Boujinha, but the naginatas managed to strike decently hard on his frame, he recoiled in pain.
It took him a second to stand up, and while the spark of ferocity was ignited on his eyes, he relented as he gestured for a time-out. "I think it's a good time for us to stop. You've proven to be quite skillful, young dragon. I am most impressed by how quickly you took command of your evolution. I commend you for that."
He then began to look around. Of course, he's been completely oblivious of what's been happening while the spar had run its course. "Where are the rest? I thought they were playing near us."
Question of the century, probably! Would Bu have the answers for it?

It took no time at all for the Captain to locate Unica, hidden in the shadows beneath the cot. He was small enough to spot her from here, and so the moment their eyes locked, the puppy curled his foreleg in sub-conscious anticipation and extended his neck to point at the young tamer with the tip of his nose. Unica hurriedly covered her mouth with both hands to prevent herself squealing out of surprise and anxiety. She shook her head, her eyes pleading for the Captain to change his mind and work with her instead. It would've been so easy for him to turn around and act like it was a false alarm, that he actually hadn't found anything at all. And yet, something told Unica that her silent pleas wouldn't work. The dragon-fox was too clever for that. Plus, the Elecmon wasn't exactly the best liar. "What would a small human be doing in the Spartan Training Grounds?" he asked, side-eyeing the Captain.

"Well, you see, I think she lives here? I haven't gotten the specifics from Mister Dinohumon as he's presently sparring with my sister, but she seems to be a resident for the moment and offered to play a game with me and the good captain here." Who was also her (adopted) son apparently. "It was originally tag, but then she got the idea of running off and hiding, so I guess it's not just tag and more hide and go tag?" Fuu tapped her chin for a few moments.
Speaking of, the captain found something. So, Fuu looked down under the bed to find...Unica! She then reached out in an attempt to boop her. "Found you!" She snickered. Ferocious as Bu was, she was indeed winding herself to hell and back. Upon being told now was a great time to stop, the Ginryumon's form fizzled and the same Ryudamon fell to the ground, panting in exhaustion.
"T-Thanks..." She nodded a few times, before looking around. No signs of Fuu, that dog thing, or Unica. "...I think their game might've taken them away from the ring. T-That's just me, though." There's an answer of the century.

Given the mostly unwritten laws of tag, the Captain couldn't relent after he had found their quarry. He felt guilty at ignoring the small girl's pleas, but duty prevailed over feelings... or something like that. In the end, Unica was found by Fuu and the game could resume normally! Or, at least what was what the Captain thought would happen.
In the end, how the game proceeded depended on Unica, mostly. At the moment, the small dog was expectant regarding what would happen next. Meanwhile, Dinohumon's body just plopped into the ground, exhaustion clear on his features. "Well, that was a pretty nice spar from what I can say. The small ones will probably come back soon enough, as far as I know."
Or maybe they wouldn't. When it came to youngsters, what they would end up doing or not was pretty hard to say. Yet... nobody present was particularly in a hurry, weren't they?

The Elecmon fell silent as he searched for an answer that would both clarify the Dorumon's assumptions regarding the partner-less tamer while also keeping Unica's location a secret. However, his attempt failed when the seeker walked over to the cot, lowered herself to the ground, and announced she'd found the young girl. "Ah!" Unica squeaked behind the two tiny hands that were still clasped over her mouth. The squeal instantly turned into a fit of giggles as the fox-dragon desperately tried to tag her with sharp claws, narrowly unable to reach as Unica retreated farther underneath the already small bed.
She knew she'd already lost. If the fox-dragon went to the other side of the bed or the Captain decided to crawl underneath to tag her instead, she wouldn't stand a chance. The idea of scrambling out from under the bed and running away didn't even cross her mind; after all, it seemed an impossible trick to pull off. Even if she was fast enough to get out of the tent, she was still trying to catch her breath and so she wouldn't make it far. After a few brief seconds, and after recollecting herself from the initial thrill of being spotted, Unica reached out her hand and let the fox-dragon officially tag her. It was only fair, she thought. "I'm It!" she squealed, "I'm gonna get you!" With that, Unica slowly made her out from under the cot, giving her new friends plenty of time to run away or hide.

Unwritten laws or no, this was still a game of tag, and it was something to see to the end. Fuu was ever persistent, and would dart to the other side of the bed to try getting close enough to tag Unica with the most girly giggle she'd ever mustered.
This was sincere fun for her.
And since Unica had allowed herself to be tag? Fuu would take off in the quickest sprint of all. Her objective? Probably get back to the ring, see how Bu and Dinohumon were faring while trying to hide. Speaking of...
"It really was." Bu managed. "Hell of a swift fighter, buddy." She raised a claw and gave the saurian entity a thumbs up. "...Holy FUCKING FUCK my everything hurts." She noted. "Where'd everyone go...?"

In the end, the plan had worked! Unica was tagged, and now both Fuu the Captain were escaping the small human’s wrath. Or its equivalent. It was hard to tell for the canine that was running as far as he could, in the same direction her surrogate mother was.
Where were they going, anyway? Things such as planning weren’t precisely in the digimon’s thoughts. At least not in a meaningful capacity; nonetheless, he advanced. What about Bu and Dinohumon’s spar? The clash had been pretty intense, but in the end, the two had learned a lot from their opponent. A productive endeavor, no matter how it was seen.
“The better fights are the swift ones, young one.” The digimon mused, somewhat thoughtfully. “A quick engagement is worth more than a long and drawn-out conflict. A decisive victory will save you the pains of a long and drawn-out conflict. After all, time’s a valuable resource, don’t you think?”
He couldn’t stifle a chuckle at the dragon’s exclamation of pain, however. “You did well despite it being the first time you evolved. Why don’t you take a rest? I can keep watch until the rest of your group arrives.”
