The Gatchmon's eyes widened when he saw the two Digimon just fall off the roof like that, with one of them even landing directly into a trash can. Forgetting that he was mad, Chenjin covered his mouth with his claws and laughed at the Veemon's misfortune. It wasn't long before he remembered what he was doing and took another step away from the Twin Tamer. When the Gumdramon mentioned a fight, Chenjin's eyes widened but he still looked prepared. He was willing to fight if he had to.
Before things got even more out of hand, Justice stepped up and explained everything. The Digimon were just up there to protect Justice if Chenjin somehow just started attacking, and he opened his jacket and emptied his pockets to prove that he didn't have a portal. Still, considering his experiences with Tamers in the past, Chenjin was skeptical.
"W-Why should I believe you?" Chenjin asked. "Almost every Tamer I've met so far hasn't been very kind to me. What makes you so different?" Before an answer could be said, the Gatchmon's stomach began to grumble loudly. He hadn't had any dinner yet, since he ran away from the Diner before his food arrived. Blushing a bright red, Chenjin held his belly with his claws. "I'm starving..."

As Justice was proving that he had no intentions to send him home, Vee slowly crawled out of the trash, shaking his head so that any trash residue would come off of him. It didn't help with the fact that the Gatchmon was laughing at his blunder. Not saying anything, he crossed his arms in embarrassment and looked away frowning.
"If you talk about this again, I swear..." the Veemon turned to his brother, who gave a snide smile in response.
For some reason, Chenjin was still distrustful even after Justice showed him that he had no means to send him back to the Digital World. He really doesn't want to go back for whatever reason. No matter. It was none of his business to why he's living here. All that matters is that he wasn't a bad Digimon, and he looked like he could case no harm. Sighing a bit, he took a few seconds to find an answer so the Gatchmon can trust him.
"Well, so far I've told you the truth and nothing but the truth." He gleamed into the Digimon eyes, letting him know that he was serious. "Since you have a life of your own here, it wouldn't sit on me well if I would to drag you back to the Digital World. You probably have friends here, so it would be really messed up separating you from them. That ain't my style."
When the Gatchmon's stomach grumbled loudly, the twin Digimon's also grumbled in response, which caused the two to laugh awkwardly. Justice sighed and looked into his wallet. "I guess I'm feeding three hungry Digimon this afternoon." he mumbled to himself.

"I... actually don't have any friends here yet," Chenjin admitted as he lowered his head to the ground. "I have acquaintances, but no one that I'd actually call a friend yet. The closest I'd call a friend was a Ryudamon named Boss who helped me when I first arrived here. I haven't seen him since though..."
Chenjin was in utter embarrassment when his tummy growled like that. He was absolutely starving, but it didn't have to remind him that loudly! But suddenly the stomachs from the two other Digimon made a similar hunger noise, which made Chenjin feel at least a little bit better about his own. "I guess we're all hungry then, right?"
Chenjin noted how upset Justice looked when he looked into his wallet. Maybe he just didn't have the money to feed anyone as of this moment. Thankfully, Chenjin DID have the money. Putting back on his holosuit, the newly-disguised redhead took out his own wallet and pulled out... well, a lot of Yen.
"If you're really as good as you say you are, I can buy all of us dinner. My parents gave me about a hundred thousand Yen, so we won't have to worry about how expensive the food is, at least for right now!" Chenjin was starting to get used to these guys, so maybe treating them to dinner would have them know each other better? At least, that was Chenjin's thought process.

"Oh..." Justice replied, looking away from him. He knew that feeling all too well. Since he moved to Japan for school, it's been rather difficult of him trying to make friends. He still talked to his friends back at home, but it wasn't the same. It was more harder to make new friends here since he lacked some social skills to make new ones.
"Heh, yeah I guess so." said Vee, holding his stomach in response. "Climbing buildings and sneaking around rooftops kinda does that, you know?"
Justice watched as Chenjin activated his holosuit, turning back into the redheaded boy. The Digimon pulled his wallet out and it turns out he was loaded. REALLY loaded with cash.
"HOLY SH-" exclaimed Justice before being interrupted by Vee.
"Language, but HOLY COW."
Gummy, who was excited as well, quickly jumped on to the disguise Digimon's shoulders. "You're more loaded than Specs over here! I'm starting to like you already!
"Yeah! Let's pig out until we can't stuff ourselves anymore!" said Vee who started to jump excitedly
"Hold it for a sec." the human put his hand up in a stop gesture. "I like the enthusiasm you two, but if we're going to a restaurant, you guys can't come in since your appearances alone would cause a panic. And i'm not about to get in trouble with law enforcements or something."
The twin Digimon lowered their heads in responses, forgetting the majority of humans are unknown of Digimon's existence.

Pulling out that money was probably a bad idea in hindsight, since that caused Gummy to jump right onto Chenjin's shoulders, causing the both of them to completely fall to the ground. "AAAAUGH!" Chenjin screamed as he tried to hold his arms out to break his fall, causing his holosuit to glitch out again. "Please be careful! I don't know how many more hits my holosuit can take!"
The others seemed really impressed by the amount of Yen that Chenjin had on him, but Chenjin seemed indifferent to it all. "Having money is nice, but it's nothing to freak out over. My mama and papa told me that not everyone is as lucky as we are, so I should never look down on others or judge others based on their Bit- or Yen- amounts..." Man, he missed his parents so much. He wondered how they were doing without him...
Well, Justice just killed the mood when he said that Vee and Gummy couldn't go into a restaurant because others would see them. And that gave Chenjin an idea. "Maybe we don't have to go to a sit-down restaurant? I am unsure if Japan has any, but I read up on something called 'fast food' where the food comes in a bag and you can take it anywhere. We could go somewhere private, like a roof or the park!"

Not knowing that Chenjin in his holosuit form couldn't take much weight, he and Gummy promptly fell to the ground in a comedic fashion, causing him to yelp in surprise as well.
"Right, right. Sorry about that." he said as he helped him back up.
Justice couldn't help but agree with the Digimon in regards to you shouldn't look down on others if you have lots of money. There are many-- both humans and Digimon-- that would have no idea how the empathize with people of lower class than them, but that's no reason to treat them differently. As everyone has a role to play to make both worlds work, for there to be a larger role, there must be a small role. Some like the larger role, some like the small role. That determines how you contribute to this world, or the Digital World, at least that's what he thought anyway.
"Ah for real fast food would be perfect!" he said. "Why didn't I think of that first? I think I passed by a Mc.Donald's when I was chasing you. We could go there or someplace else. Heh, it's your choice since your the 'Mon with the paper."
Vee's ear twitched as the name Mc Donald's was mention. "Ohhh, a fancy name for a fast food eatery? I like the sound of that!"

Chenjin appreciated the fact that Gummy had helped him up, even though currently Chenjin was much bigger than him. "Thank you, Gumdramon."
Chenjin was confused when Justice said he saw a McDonald's on Cat Street. According to his knowledge of Shibuya, the only McDonald's that he knew of was in Hachiko Square, in the heart of Shibuya. But after looking around for a bit, he came to the conclusion that Justice was indeed right. "Hey, it's over there!" Chenjin says, pointing to the establishment and walking in.
When they entered the building, Chenjin took note of all the different sights and smells. Sadly, all the advertisements and smells just made him even hungrier. So there was no time like the present! Chenjin happily walked up to greet the man who was standing on the other side of the counter.
"Hi there, and welcome to McDonald's," the man began to say, before looking over to Justice, his eyes widening. "Justice? Is that you? It's me, Adrian. You know, from Christmas!"

Vee and Gummy hopped back into Justice's D-Watch before the two departed from the alleyway. Looking back it, he made a mental note to come back here some other day as it was a perfect spot to do some graffiti art, that is if class doesn't kill him.
After a little bit of walking and search, Cehnjin pointed out the Mc.Donald's that Justice saw earlier and the two proceeded to walk there. Justice's watch started to blink as the two twins started to converse out loud. "What do you think they have to eat in there?" Gummy asked.
"I don't know, but thinking about is making me even hungrier!" replied Vee, his voice starting to quiver a bit.
The two walked in and Justice stood by his side waiting for his new friend to finish his order, that is until the casher called him by his name. "Adrian?" he said. He didn't recognized him at first since he was wearing a uniform. It also didn't help since he was bad at remembering faces. But after a few seconds, it started to click. "Ah, Adrian! I didn't know you worked here, how you been dude?"

Chenjin had heard the conversation going on inside of Justice's D-Watch. They weren't at their location quite yet, so he decided to chip in and explain. "According to my research on the restaurant, McDonald's is usually known for their hamburgers, kind of like the ones a Burgermon makes. They have other items too, such as an item called 'french fries' among other things."
Wow, just that description alone made Chenjin even hungrier as they walked. "It's probably best to not think about it for now, haha... also please be quiet. Others aren't supposed to know you exist, remember."
When they were about to order, Chenjin was confused when the cashier began talking to Justice like he knew him. And Justice seemed to recognize this human too, making Chenjin even more confused. Anime-sweatdropping, he looked back and forth between the two humans until he got a clear answer.
"Hm? Is this one of your friends, Justice?" Adrian asked, finally facing towards Chenjin, who in return greeted him with a smile.
"No, we really just met today and I'm offering to buy him food! I'm Chenjin, by the way. Chenjin Takada. It's nice to meet you!" At this point, Chenjin still wasn't aware that Adrian had ties to Digimon as well.
"Chenjin, hm? Well, it's nice to meet you, Chenjin. So what are you guys going to order today?"
"Fifty cheeseburgers."
"...I'm sorry, what?"
Chenjin repeated his order. Adrian just stared at this teenager in disbelief.

Before Justice could respond, Chenjin beat it to him and explained that he was buying food on the house. As the two got acquainted with each other, he grabbed his phone from his pocket and went to surf social media for a bit, swiping and looking at each notification, some of them were from his mom trying to call him. She probably just wanted to keep bothering him. Rolling his eyes, he put his phone on Airplane mode. When he did that, he heard Chenjin said that he wanted to order fifty cheeseburgers. He looked up and turned to him, sharing the same disbelief as him.
“Wait huh?” he said tilting his head. His eyes narrowed in shock, “Why that many? That’s a bit overkill don’t ya think.”
For them, maybe eight or ten burgers were enough since there were four of them. It was like they were ordering for a party or a get-together with family. He knew that Digimon have a big appetite; Vee and Gummy were proof of that. But Chenjin looked like he was gonna put those two to shame.
“I mean...don’t you want to add a bit more variety with your meal, like a side of French Fries along with a drink? That will get you filled I hope.”
Fan girl wheezling from both Vee and Gummy can be heard from the D-Watch. Looks the amount of food options were giving them a joy overload.

"They're for a big group, obviously," Chenjin immediately said when he noticed the cashier, Adrian, getting really suspicious about the order that he had made. "We're going to a meet-up, and I decided to get food for everyone there."
"...must be a real big party then," Adrian said, smirking a little bit as he looked from Chenjin to Justice, implying that he definitely knew that Chenjin was most likely a Digimon. "Alright, fifty cheeseburgers. Anything else?"
"Hm..." Chenjin hummed, looking at the menu some more. "Four large fries, forty McNuggets and, er... four medium drinks? Only a couple of people at the party want fries and drinks."
"Alrighty then, I assume that this is to go, right?" Adrian asks as he inputs the order onto his screen. Right before he was about to tell Chenjin the price, everyone heard a yell from the back of the restaurant.
"How many people is this person trying to feed?!" One of the workers yelled as she immediately attempted to get to work trying to make that expansive order. That certainly made Chenjin feel bad for ordering so much, that is.
"Okay... like I was saying, the price will be 7,493 Yen," Adrian finishes. After Chenjin gave him the money, Adrian got four medium cups and handed them to Chenjin and Justice before pointing to the right of them. "The drink station is right there, you can help yourselves. The food will be ready shortly!"

Justice only stood in silent as Chenjin started to wrap up the transaction, still flabbergasted at the order. There was no way that anybody, not even a Digimon, can eat all that much food. Despite them being made out of ones and zeros, there has to be the digital equivalent of a stomach ache; a huge stomach ache at that.
Hearing one of the workers in the back exasperating at the large order, Justice only winced in their pain. Back in the states, he used to work at a Burger King. The experience there was "not good" as he would put it.
Grabbing the cup from Chenjin, he went over to drink station and poured some Hawaiian Punch. From the looks of it, the order was gonna take a long time.
"Well...this is actually happening." he muttered to himself. "¥7,493... I wonder how much that cost." Taking his phone out, he started to look on the web for a Yen convertor into US Dollars. Getting accustom to a new currency in a different country was not all cranked up to be. There were plenty of times where he had to ask for help when buying something to see if he had enough or not. Since people knew he wasn't foreign, they were kind enough to help him, even if some of them knew very little English.
"Huh, it's only $63.10? I thought it would cost a whole lot more." He turned to Chenjin. "You know I could have probably paid for this. Sure this is... a LOT more than I usually get here, but I think this is with in my budget range."
"No it's not." Gummy said from the D-Watch. The 8- bit projection of his face looked unamused.
"What makes you say that?"
"Check your bank account."
"...No thanks."
