Of course he'd bloody well answer her question while moving out of the way of her sword throw. The distance and twisted nature of this place making it hard to understand just how far the other was. She kept having to gauge him, kept having to figure out the difference. But would it be easy if they started moving around? She'd grit her teeth a little bit as he gave her his answer. "I see. Heart of Jormungand. Terabyte sanctuary."K drew in a long breath and slowly exhaled bringing her body into a heightened state. On her body the lights slowly started to glow much more fiercely and her sword that was blazing in her grip exploded outwards with a brilliance that was also oddly gentle. She already knew the name of the card that she wanted to use and brought it forth, hoping that it would have the same affect here. The jesmon considered something for a moment as her expression darkened considerably and without much hesitation at his next section of dialogue the jesmon leapt forward bringing her sword down meaning to cleave the wisemon cleanly in half. "No. I'm not. But I can rip that data from your filthy Core once you're dead and do it myself."She wasn't going to play around, she knew she had a time limit in here and that the wisemon was the only true way out of here. But she was going to be damned if she was going to let him just talk his way out of this. No he'd have to go clawing, kicking, casting and screaming in a battle in this hell. She didn't have a lot of time, she didn't know how long she could survive in here if she was left on her own. She might be able to rip her way out with a powerful enough attack back into the realm of proper. But that was all guesswork. A heart of Jormungand, with odin's judgment, some boosts from her cards and perhaps some luck she might be able to. Might. And it would leave her severely weakened for any fight if she got to the other side. Which would make her prime pickings for the sorcerer here. Which she wasn't about to allow herself to fall into that pit of darkness without a fight. Log: -K activates Heart of Jormungand -K activates Terabyte Sanctuary -K uses saberk of time and space for an empowered basic attack. Moves: Saberk of Time and Space: A blade considered most holy, may strike where the host deigns. It may leap great distances as both travel time and space between doesn't matter. Sight of a target is required to strike. May be used Indefinitely but while in use... Blades of the Faithful can only be used as an Aegis. The damage of Saberk-OTAS is incredibly high when close and loses much power when used to strike at afar.
Heart of Jormungand: A power up in essence, the host is subject to a massive increase of damage output for a short duration. Empowering any attacks it uses, tripling their effectiveness for two posts. At the end of these two posts the user is exhausted, suffering a drop in power for two posts. All attacks are considered three times as weak. Constant use of this move will force the host out of Super Mega. Passives: Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. If the move was a once per thread move, a cool down of six posts will be implemented instead.
OathSworn: Any Virus Type deals 30% less damage to this digimon.
[RAM UPGRADE GIGA]: Crimson Mantle: Jesmon's signature cape; adjusted for size for each Digivolution. This cape has a few soft abilities each that scales with the level given. It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved. "Oh, ain't that a sight." The Wisemon gave a chuckle as the environment changed - but, unfortunately for K, so long as he was held and suspended in the MarineAngemon's bubble, he had the same signal as 'one of faith'. And with that one factor removed, the sorcerer was not at all inhibited in movement, as the Jesmon made her charge to try and slice the Wisemon in two.
In fact, he'd simply kick back - the bubble only now popping - and meet K's challenge head-on. Not with a loaded attack, but one of his own: grasping his right fist, a tight, red, magical sphere would form, the Wisemon declaring his own technique:
"Stone of Nirvana - Embodiment of Knowledge!"
For all that bravado, the attack was remarkably simple - the projectile, that simple, unassuming red marble, was aimed right for K's center. But should she be hit, or try and block, she'd find that stone impossibly heavy, the force of it more than enough to even throw a Machinedramon across a few football fields. It also seemed impossibly dense - as if trying to swing a sword against it would break the blade on contact!
Gate of Destiny CD: 2/5 Wisemon is temporarily considered one of faith. Miracle Bubble ends. Wisemon uses Stone of Nirvana as a straight-line - but powerful - ranged attack.

K gritted her teeth a little bit as it seemed like the wisemon wasn't affected by the card. If anything he was being helped by it, the bubble popping because of his movement. The first real attack that he had launched this whole time. One she hadn't heard before from any mon that she had met, was this one of his own? Or something more? And yes she would try to swing her sword to meet that stone; finding it breaking and the stone continuing onwards launching her backwards through the air. She'd spin head over heals for a little bit before righting herself. But without even a moment of hesitation as she righted herself another sword snapped into being in her hands, the broken one's energy dissipating where that ball had hit her. Lining up her arm the jesmon would throw the sword again, it leaping forward again to try to slam into the Wisemon as she had to close the distance between them. Regardless if she hit him or not it'd snap back into her hand. She needed that gap close to do anything in this form, as she doubted that she could do anything outside of a certain range and that was the most frustrating information she could deal with here. She'd grit her teeth, considering something else... If she couldn't close the gap she could use Examon or OmegaShutmon. Both of which had the range and distance to cover compared to her Jesmon form. Further still she had that gap to close and if she shifted to the examon he'd be able to hit her easier. Though she felt the tugging of her regeneration at where the stone impacted her. It was a powerful move which required equal parts something to deal with. And with the Sanctuary that regeneration had an added bonus. But if the wisemon wasn't being dragged down that also meant he was receiving that particular effect. Just how much did you steal from this world while trying to drag it down? Log: -K is hit by Stone of Nirvana, sending her flying backwards. -K's SOTAS broke but it's okay, she's got another one. -K makes a ranged empowered basic attack using SOTAS. -The damage from Stone of Nirvana has activated Valhalla's Regeneration. Oh, that looks like it hurt!
The Wisemon grinned, watching K fly back in that expanse of space. Oh, if only he could have landed that closer to the ground on the other side - she might simply be trapped underneath that marble. Alas, there was no floor or wall to speak of here - no, it was just the two of them, as far as the eye could see. But so long as she kept her distance, Wisemon held the advantage.
"Arcane Barrage!"
And so, he would press it! K had a ranged attack with her sword, but the Wisemon was a ranged fighter by definition. This time, purple blasts of magic, in the shape of spears, would start to fill the space in front of Wisemon, simply rocketing out straight for the Jesmon. A few would impact and deflect the sword on contact, but if K was hit, she'd find them much less damaging than that solitary sphere.
Strange - for such trickery, why was Wisemon using such a basic assault? Was he just killing time until he got his next idea?
Gate of Destiny CD: 3/5 Stone of Nirvana - EOK CD: 1/3 The effect of Terrabyte Sanctuary will finally affect Wisemon. Wisemon uses a basic ranged magic attack!

There was pain in that, feeling her chest slowly reform itself from the damage that the wisemon had used. Gritting her teeth she could feel her core stutter as it struggled to keep up with the demands of all of her energy use. From this distance she couldn't effectively utilize her attacks and he was looking to keep it. Sure a few of his basic attacks stung and the Jesmon was kept at a range... "Machinedramon. Giga Cannon."The super mega tier digimon kept flying at the wisemon while a pair of canon's burst into existence on the jesmon's back. K would have to pause to right herself but that'd give her time to fire off the energy blasts at the Wisemon again. She had a assortment of cards to pick and choose from, but she knew some of them were more reliable than others. If she couldn't close she'd just have to supplement her moves in this form. Would the binding be gone in examon's form? She'd narrow her eyes and continued forward, those cannons fading from her shoulders after firing their payload at the wisemon. Her sword knocked a line of those arcane blasts aside while her form was still peppered with those attacks. They didn't hurt as much as that spear was and they'd have a soft effect on her regen making her recover less but that'd even out nicely with the sanctuary still running. Did he want her to get closer? Or was he just running through his own strategy in his head? She didn't trust him. She couldn't trust anything he did; she'd have to be careful pressing on like this... Log: -K has been hit by some of the wisemon's basic attack, deflecting some of it with her sword. -K has used the card 'Machinedramon'. 'Giga Cannon' -K continues to regenerate. "Tch..."
These problematic cards! Though the Wisemon was using the attacks from a myriad of loaded Digimon, he didn't want the same from his opponent - and this blast was quite the problematic one, breaking up his expected pace of the battle. I can't use THAT one yet, so this trick will have to do...
More visibly than before, a puff of smoke would appear over the Wisemon's current position, his Displacement sending him several meters straight downward. And from there, he kept up that basic attack, even as that light started to grip around his feet! "You've picked up a lot from those tamers' tools, haven't you? I'll make sure to make great use of those cards once I rip them away from you!"
Interesting - his voice was more off-balance this time! Gate of Destiny CD: 4/5 Stone of Nirvana - EOK CD: 2/3 The effect of Terrabyte Sanctuary is slowing Wisemon's movement. Wisemon uses a basic ranged magic attack! Wisemon uses Displacement!

The jesmon snarled in irritation as the wisemon used his ability to once more dodge an energy attack of hers. He was an absolutely flighty bastard wasn't he? She'd narrow her eyes a bit and let out a soft grunt as she felt that wave of exhaustion hit her from heart of Jormungand finishing it's duration. She could maybe use that move twice more before she was slammed out of super mega... if she was lucky. For now she'd have to subject her opponent to more tricks that she had picked up from allies. Individuals that had taught her so much in the way of talents, if he was dodging everything well... She'd throw out one hand and let out a snarling biting laugh. "King's bite."And like that a trident appeared in her hand, much like that of the one from Neptunemon's own passionate rule. She'd take a moment before throwing the damn thing full force at the wisemon. He'd have to contend with the trident, her attacks and any other abilities she'd throw out in the mean time. Following suit? She'd also spin and throw her saberk, albeit much slower and with a lot less force than last time. But it'd trail behind the trident in an attempt to hit the wisemon shortly after the trident. However it wouldn't return back to her hand, instead she'd just try to fly faster at the wisemon drawing back her hand in a very obvious attempt at a set up for what would follow suit. "It's more than just the tamers' tools wisemon."She had picked up their tenacity, their desires. She had picked up the drive from those that she looked up to and seen what they could do in places that only a few could dream of. She could feel the knitting of her chest pander off a bit and she would breathe just a touch easier... "I picked up their strategies too." Log: -K has been hit by additional parts of the basic attack. -K has activated the card 'kings bite' -K has thrown her saberk but hasn't called it back to her hand! -K is exhausted. "That's just some throwaway stick..."
Wisemon continued to goad her on, as that trident, the 'King's Bite', flew towards his lower position. It was just a touch more difficult to tell how projectiles flew in this distorted space - partially the reason that he kept with his own ranged barrage - but it didn't seem so hard for him to dodge. More important was K's advance. The closer she was, the more powerful that sword would become - the sorcerer didn't know that fact in particular, but Jesmon was definitely more dangerous at close range.
That meant that K would want to come close. So, more than those two ranged attacks, Wisemon kept his focus right on the Jesmon himself, moving off just enough to the right to have that Saberk hit his cloak -
"Gah!"
Damn it, what was that spear?! At that last moment, it turned, and hit him right in his arm, just as the fox moved to close the distance! The sorcerer clenched his unseen teeth, glaring right back up at the Jesmon.

Just some throw away stick.Honestly if she had been one to take amusement in something like that, she would of right now.. He moved to avoid both the sword and her card use; smartly yes but that didn't matter as not only did the trident hit, it hit one of his arms. Her saberk just missing him, shredding through that cloak and just seemingly spinning off into the distance. She was close now yes. But that didn't much matter to her she'd swing first with her fist intent on cracking it into the wisemon's head. Spinning on that momentum she'd call back her sword, it leaping from a massive distance in an instance just as she was leveling her other hand for what would of been a nasty swipe of her claws directed in an diagonal slash at her target. If it hadn't been for the massive blade that suddenly spawned in her hand. She had other tools she could continue to use and it really depended on what the wisemon did. For now she'd set something else up. "Trap card. Globemon. Glanz Gazer."There was a lot going on right here, a lot that many wouldn't understand. Issues and accounts of her own that she'd need to make real. Need to make ready. But they couldn't be brought to bear without some struggle; without the wisemon doing something that would bode ill for her. So she would have to play cautious. Log: -K has made a basic attack aimed at the wisemon's head. -K has used SOTAS to make an attack at the wisemon's chest. -K has set a trap card 'Globemon' 'Glanz Gazer'. -K is still exhausted. A little closer... just a little closer, K...
Wisemon hadn't missed a beat. Even as that spear was impaled into his arm, he kept his focus forward, towards K's frame - one that had been battered down, not only by his own attacks, but through the Jesmon's own efforts and the effect of the battlefield around them. Perhaps it was a bit too early, but K was a troublesome opponent - and, thankfully, a true close-range fighter.
A fist came down to try and crack at his head. A short-range electrical cannon was poised to try and blast him right through the chest. And the Wisemon himself, once more clenched his fist, this time a yellow stone appearing in his grip, in similar fashion to that red ball.
But this one was far different: he held the orb before him, and called the spell's name:
"Stone of Nirvana - Embodiment of Learning!"
Right between K and the Wisemon, that yellow stone would give off a brilliant glow, sparking to life as the Jesmon made her approach. That varied, high-powered assault charged right for him looked as if K was rushing in to try and take out a weakened foe - and there, the Sorcerer simply put it all on the line.
Much like the 'Gate of Destiny', this stone would start to pull the Jesmon closer, but this time, the force was much stronger. Should that blade connect with it first, K would see its effect - whatever touched it was pulled right inside, contorting as if pulled right into a vortex.
Come along, K... be ensnared by your own bloodlust!

That fist came down right where she needed it to, right when she wanted to. Her eyes slowly widened however when that yellow stone appeared in his grip; she didn't know what that was or what it did. But when it started to pull at her at her as she rushed at him the jesmon considered her options almost immediately. Her sword touching the stone and was simply just pulled into that vortex. That gate was much like this... where would this take me?!The jesmon snarled as she felt her body being tugged towards it, slowly certainly and like the wisemon would want to believe it would ensare her perfectly more than likely. But without a second thought in her mind the jesmon slammed her energy home and vanished on the spot appearing much further above the wisemon gripping painfully at the arm that had swung the sword. She could feel the ease and strength of this form, the practiced nature that she had with it. But it wasn't the burning sensation or the like that she appreciated. Sighing with a small amount of frustration she'd exhale slowly. Her form taking that light of digivolution again. Picking out a form that had the range, had the durability and the constant adaptive nature that she had only experimented with once or twice. A form that many had spoken of in haste and perhaps dismissively as many never had seen it. It was a form of control and purity unlike any that she had felt, even as it had been twisted in anger and passion. A simple form, a form known as... Gracenovamon. Log: -K used Valhalla's corridor to avoid Stone of Nirvana, Embodiment of learning. Tch... was I a little late?
Feeling that electricity dance off his cloak, the Wisemon swore under his breath, as the Jesmon increased the distance... but thankfully for the sorcerer, K didn't further increase her distance. In fact, she decided to do something risky, and take a few precious, extra seconds to further change her form... which gave the Wisemon an idea. She was still in range of the stone, at a better distance where she might be able to resist the pull.
Of the stone alone, at least.
You think you're safe?!
The Wisemon grinned, a powerful, golden portal opening up behind the stone, even as K was still in the process of Digivolving! Once more, the 'Gate of Destiny' opened, the light of the outside world taunting her as it opened. But, more importantly, the force of its draw was added to the Nirvana Stone. Given its span?
As K would finally have opened her new set of eyes, she might have already been drawn significantly closer to the center.
Wisemon uses Gate of Destiny! Stone of Nirvana - EOL is still in effect! Displacement CD: 3/3, available next turn!

So yes she managed to escape upwards, yes she had managed to pull herself away from that stone. But it didn't seem to matter as her form was pulled yet still towards the form of that stone. She had nothing in this form that she could do to get herself out of this. But the dragging force brought her very close to the wisemon herself before that light had washed away. Choices were always supposedly going to get her killed. That's what one of her knights had said to her, the random assortment of her forms to others would instantly make her weaker, weaken or perhaps even be worthless in terms of fighting. Her eyes staring hard at the wisemon that was grinning so hard at her. She couldn't fight against this, not in this form. So she had to consider something, she had to consider what she could do and coming up with a fruitless venture the gracenovamon gasped sharply in pain as she was drawn into the stone itself. One of her blades making a swipe at the wisemon as she was. She didn't have much in this form that she could fight something like that, hell if she was in examon this would of been so much worse! Log: -being dragged in towards the stone of nirvana coupled with the gate of destiny K makes an attack before being sucked into the stone. -K attempts to use Star blade as a last ditch effort to hack at wisemon. ... Finally.
It took more effort than he planned - and the stone had to expend far more energy than he had wanted to. Heck, GraceNovamon even managed to get a parting shot at his shoulder, only barely moving to prevent his neck from being torn to shreds - but he had managed to trap that defiant creature into that stone.
The gate behind him quickly dissipated, as the Wisemon lurched an arm forth, once more grasping tight around that 'Stone of Learning', focusing straight in on that artifact. "Now, let's handle this little problem..."
K, of course, would find herself in dire straits. The technique was completely unknown to her, and for the moment, she'd find herself completely immobilized, held in a dark, dense space. Heck, it would even be difficult to tell just how much time had passed.
But the stone would not stay passive. She'd soon feel it, like a chill through her body, her own data radiating off of her frame. The stone had massive potential, and she'd feel her outermost form of data - her current super-mega form - become cold, and pull away from her. She might be left to think just how much the stone could take. "Tch..."
But Wisemon had used the stone far too late in the cycle, already seeing it start to turn red. Now, he thought? It should have lasted for hours, at the least! But there was no helping it: any more, and the stone would simply turn to sand. Grasping it back, the stone itself would glow, a warm essence of data surging away from it, several yards away from the Wisemon.
There? K would appear once more - not as a GraceNovamon or even a Jesmon, but as a mere Renamon, floating in this static-filled space. "Tch..." A bit of static fluttered around the Wisemon's cloak. From everything he had just exerted - and with that slash to his arm - he couldn't even raise that free arm. Just how much data did she have? What was supposed to drain most of her data had only taken GraceNovamon...
But maybe that was enough. Was K even aware of her own condition?
"It just ends up the same, doesn't it?" The Wisemon mused, trying to appeal to a different sense for K. If she simply thought she was weakened enough to not Digivolve, maybe this appeal would work. "You know, I've been quite kind. I could've shown up at the Library at any time. Kidnapped your precious Syre or your husband, and brought them along to bring you back at my feet. But I thought I could get you back, one way or another... well. No more playing nice."
He'd lied, at least once, in that last explanation. And he'd be about to lie again: "If you don't want me pulling your loved ones in here, one at a time, for a grand ol' family reunion?" He tried to make it sound like he'd already won: "Then you'll stay still, right there, and extend an arm out for me."
Wisemon has only managed to peel away GraceNovamon. He is attempting to appeal to the Renamon via a threat - attempting to scare her into thinking her grogginess and damage is her defeat. All non-once-per-thread CDs have reset for both sides.

Inside of that stone K couldn't tell what was going on, she was frozen, bound in some fashion. Held in a dense space that made it impossible to tell how much space had passed. The gracenovamon struggled to move, struggle to breathe struggled to understand what was going on. She cried out in pain as she felt her current super mega form stripped away in a cold torrent of data. She wasn't sure how much more the stone could take from her but... what did she lose there?
K's apperance outside of the stone, floating in the hazzy stacticy space as a renamon was a blessing in itself. She was breifly reminded of the time spent in the wisemon's book. Slowly but steadily she'd bring a hand up to her head. She saw the wisemon in front of her a good bit away, the dainty tug of this place feeling a touch out of sorts as she was re-introduced to it's effects. Then K froze as the wisemon started to speak. Telling her, trying to appeal to her. She felt her anger growing, her body shaking in that anger, that rage that slowly started to overwhelm her. She'd grit her teeth, her eyes flashing a bloody red as she felt that gnawing raging sensation under her skin. Snarling, frustration that crept over her body. Nagging at every singe length of code on her frame. The groggy feeling that she had come out with cast aside as the sheer amount of rage that started to boil over caused the renamon herself to screech in an unholy manner. Wings burst out of her back in an explosion of fierce red data. Her tail and limbs extended, her snout ripping the fur off of her face as it climbed and climbed in size. Her tail sweeping out behind her, the snarling visage of examon leveling itself to glare with an undivided hatred of the one in front of her burning beyond compare of anything that the renamon could muster on her own. Words of reason failed her, words threatening didn't come but instead she let out such a massive roar of anger that was only crested by the examon moving forward with a flap of her giant wings. She was done talking to this mon, she was done letting him trying to take her family. She was done letting him threaten them in such a paltry divided manner. She wasn't about to let him do anymore and with a roar equal parts words and equal part rage she'd move to to close the distance between them drawing her arm back in a obvious punch. "THEY ARE NOT BARGAINING CHIPS YOU WRETCH."
-K has come out of the orb in a somewhat groggy state. -K has digivolved into Examon. -K is extremely angry. Moves-N/A Passives: Scale-Skin: This digimon receives less damage from all attacks but is slower as a result.
Flight: This digimon even as large as they are is capable of flight with their wings.
Duration: K's rage: ??? Cooldown's: -N/A [/b]Cards[/b] VB-30 Card Name: Terabyte Sanctuary
