The digimon that stood before him thought he was crazy. Yet, he remained calm and called to the other again. "I'm not crazy, Crash. I said hit me!" Azazel's voice was firm, eyes unnerving as his digimon buzzed back and forth in confusion at his tamer's odd request. Since he digivolved to mega, Azazel has been more adamant about 'training together' to prevent what happened with Megidramon again.
"You are crazy." The digimon protested, continuing his anxious buzzing. Normally he was good at keeping the buzz down and remain quiet, however, this time he was purposefully not doing that in order to show the emotion to his tamer. If there was one human he wouldn't attack, it would be Azazel, who he saw as someone of equal to him. However, the blonde scoffed, and Crash looked appalled at the action. "I can seriously hurt you. Can't you just buy a punching bag?" There was another scoff.
"And if I'm weaker on the battle field, then that means I'm at danger and if I'm at danger-" He stopped, knowing the digimon got his point. Yet he wasn't stupid, he knew for a fact that if Crash used any actual attacks on him he'd be in need of medical attention. He's seen the Flymon in action, it wasn't pretty. "You don't have to call an attack, just punch me." He sounded more forceful near the end, and the Flymon sighed.
"Fine." There was a moment's pause, even after Azazel's previous annoyed look changed to a pleasant and more happy one. Then, he went into a blocking stance and the digimon came at him, landing a..... soft.... punch.
A beat.
"Seriously?!" Azazel shouted, no longer caring that they were in a valley with good acoustics. That was, until he had to cover his ears from the echoing. After a brief moment he spoke again, more quiet. "Punch me like you mean it! I'm not glass, dumb***!" He crossed his arms, and the digimon returned to his nervous buzzing. The blonde rolled his eyes, how were they suppose to get stronger if he kept this up?
Azazel had seriously no idea.

"Hey!" A voice snapped out at them echoing loud and indignant among the valley walls as the pair would turn to search out the source. Finding there perched atop a boulder not far from them stood a little read bean of a Gigimon. "Stop that!" The little Gigimon growled out practically bristling with anger as she stared down the Flymon with all the bravery she could muster. "You shouldn't attack humans! Only villains attack defenseless humans!" She yelled out baring her fangs at the bug digimon in a clear threat obviously ramping herself up to attack in a valiant effort to protect Azazel from his 'assailant.' "And! And if you're a villain I'll stop you! Cause I'm Eris and I'm gonna be a knight!" The little Gigimon exclaimed as she leaped off her boulder charging at the Flymon as she jumped into the air ramming herself at full force against him in a headbutt to try to push him away from the clearly in-distress human... Only to ping harmlessly off his armor leaving her falling to the ground momentarily stunned and sprawled on her back. Her little red legs flailing helplessly in the air as she tried to woozily get to her feet.

Both Azazel and Crash spun around to face the voice they heard, it took a bit until Azazel had heard Crash's snickering that the source was found. A small red digimon, round and ball-like in shape. The blonde had to squint a bit to see the digimon, despite the perch it had taken. Crash made his way to fly over to the digimon, and if he could show it, one would say he'd be smirking. "Aww how cute, the little baby wants to be a knight!" He said, his buzzing had now quieted down again as he wasn't in the place of his tamer asking him to hurt him. Azazel however facepalmed, slowly making his way over. "Crash, stop that." He said with an eye roll, however, it was obvious he was trying his hardest to hold back his own laughter. He thought it was hilarious to see the in-training acting like this, but he didn't entirely want to discourage the behavior. "Relax, uh, Eris. He's my partner, I asked him to attack me." There was a pause as Crash began buzzing again. "Because he's stupid." The digimon mumbled under his breath, before lowering to the ground to give his wings a break. The blonde crossed his arms, this time standing a bit more proudly before the Gigimon. "Besides, I take offense to being called defenseless. I'm not glass y'know." Eris

"Going to be a Knight." Eris corrected baring small draconic fangs as needle sharp as a kittens at the pair as something flashed through her sky blue eyes making them look briefly slitted, almost sinister, before the tiny digimon pouted ruining the effect. "I'm going to be a knight. Want implies it's a goal and not a plan." She mumbled kicking a stray pebble her ears laying flat against her head sulkily as she glanced between the mechanical bug digimon and his Tamer. "You still shouldn't attack humans. Humans are special. Hurting a bonded human is the worst thing you could ever do and only ever a last resort. My Dad said so." She added seeming to have ignored Azazel's comment in regards to not being made out of glass. Of course he'd think he was strong for a human, but they just didn't bounce back like Digimon did. Eris had read countless stories of the tragic deaths of human partners driving their cherished Digimon companions mad. Truthfully she wasn't supposed to have read such tales as most of her family thought they were too morbid for her, but Moon didn't always pay the best attention to what books she browsed so long as they weren't any of his more rare tomes. Crash brought his hand to his face, moving his head back and forth in a motion. "This kid is what you'd human's call..." He paused, as if in thought, his eyes turning into a narrowed look of annoyance the moment his hand dropped from his face. "A smarta**." There was another moment, and Azazel would have laughed at his digimon if it wasn't for the current situation. He huffed lightly towards the smaller digimon instead, however he couldn't stop the smile crossing across his lips. He wasn't in need of an ego boost, but one certainly never hurt. He couldn't help puffing his chest out slightly. The deadpan look his digimon had now directed towards the blond, knowing full well that confident face anywhere. "Your dad sounds like a good digimon." Azazel said, quickly stepping his way again between the miniature conflict his digimon had with the Gigimon. He couldn't deny that, there were many evil digimon who'd quickly just attack anyone in sight, and he couldn't say he'd survive a nuclear bomb dropped by the Megidramon he faced... A grimace washed over him that he had to quickly recover from. A small concern look dropped over Crash's face in response to that. "You should follow that. Though, Crash wouldn't seriously hurt me. But I need to become stronger with him, how else are we suppose to be a team if I'm a flashing red target on the battle field?" He spoke, the question coming out genuine. He'd otherwise just keep forcing Crash to go at him. However, an interruption spoke from the same digimon's mouth. "I protect you, that's how." He huffed, stating what sounded like a matter of fact. Azazel shook his head. "Not enough. I'm your partner, not your babysitting duty." Eris
