Holly had never been to a place like terminus, nor had she ever seen spires twirling upwards for what seemed like miles to her. It made her jaw slacken and her eyes go wide as dinner plates as she walked around; trailing after the steady steps of her stingmon escort. She had been quite irritated with the fact that her Da had deigned to have them come along but now that they were here she understood why. It wasn't hard for someone like her to get lost.
She'd easily keep up with him, having to jump between larger mon's legs and the like. She'd ask a million or two questions about the place as they went. Constantly pointing out things, inquiring about them and generally trying to understand the location likely much to the bug's dismay.
But when they eventually got to the 'entrance' of the under-city the meicoomon would pause and shiver feeling her senses sort of hike up a knotch as her body immediately recognized the danger. She'd bite her lower lip and without much of a pause or question she'd shift up a step to sort of keep her cool.
Her senses were much higher in the meicrackmon form anyways and she'd be able to somewhat move around easier if things got messy. But that didn't stop her from trailing after the stingmon once they got in. The dizzying arrays of turns and twists here...
"Mr. Stingmon where are we going? Da said we were seeing a Doctor and this place doesn't feel very doctory. Seems more 'stabby stabby, gimme your money kiddo' sort of territory..."
...Just how many books and movies had the youth been watching where she picked up that? She was getting a few odd looks from some of the people here, but as they weren't causing trouble there was no reason for the guards or 'residents' to bother them.

For a supposed assassin, Holly had a lot to work on for composure.
As Stingmon and the MeiCrackmon made their descent into Tenebrous, that was the one thought on his mind. He could tell that Holly was not used to this setting in the slightest, even going as far as to have her fur stand on edge as she kept herself close. Stingmon himself seemed confident enough...
... So as Holly gave her 'interesting' question of the place, the insect answered: "There are doctors of all sorts, Holly. Box your shoulders and stand normally - you're drawing too much attention."
Perhaps Holly couldn't help it, but really, what was Dr. Mikemon thinking? Dragging her down here, of all places? The bug could even feel those extra sets of eyes set upon them, the assistant letting out a small sigh. "Save your questions for the doctor. Trust me, it won't stay like this for too much longer." As fast as Holly was walking - the Stingmon having to speed up to keep a leading pace - it wouldn't take long for the two to reach the arena.

To say they were drawing eyes was perhaps an understatement. While Tenebrous was considered a lawless hive of scum and villainy by most that tended towards welcoming those of all stripes so long as they didn't cause trouble. However, there was a certain reputation Meicoomon's carried with them. More then a few of the Digimon there had lost a friend, or a relative, or even a child to one of the cats seeing as Luminas and other cities didn't care much to patrol their poorer districts and keep the pests from picking off the weak and unimportant. Meicrackmon's however...Meicrackmon's meant something was about to go down. Nervous Meicrackmon's meant the something that was about to go down was bad and thus sensing Holly's discomfort the crowds gave them a wide berth. Though Stingmon's sharp eyes would spot the subtle shifting of runners as certain mon's faded back into the crowd likely moving quickly to alert the cities defenders of a potential threat. They hadn't even made it two blocks into the city proper where dilapidated stone and ramshackle buildings were beginning to become new construction and multicolored tents before a flash of gold dropped down in front of them. The Durandamon stood from their crouch towering over the two bristling with swords and clearly ready and raring for a fight. "Might I inquire to your business here in~" He began words polite, but sharp only to pause blinking at Stingmon in recognition. Realization flashing through his eyes as he glanced between the shifting Meicrackmon and the bug digimon. "Ah...I see she takes after her Mother when it comes to entrances." Dagger hummed out low in his throat.

"S-sorry I'm not used to places like this.."
The meicrackmon mumbled a bit and she'd do as the stingmon told her; she'd glance around noting the movement. The width they were given and found herself nervously frowning. Did they do something wrong or... was it just something that they'd have to expect from in here? Then the stingmon spoke again after that sigh, saying that it wouldn't stay like this. She'd have to at least trot to sort of keep tail with the stingmon.
She didn't know what her kind did or was really capable of in long term, she didn't know very much about their appetites and well.. with all the attention that they were getting it was starting to build on more questions. When they got closer to the arena and that flash of gold appeared in front of them holly practically leaped backwards out of a mix of fear and balled nerves.
"Holy hecking fracklacking fricken frack! Uh.. Uhm. My da said we were comin to see a doctor here and uhm..."
The meicrackmon's fur was standing on their ends and she was sort of raising either hand in front of her, one leg posed to sort of to one side as though she was pretty much completely taken back by this sudden appearance. It took her maybe two or three seconds realizing that the big guy wasn't going to attack them and she visibly deflated.
"What is it with this place and having scary people in it!? Do you drop down in front of everybody that comes through here? And... wait. You know My ma?"

"..."
A long, exasperated sigh escaped the Stingmon after the presence of the Durandamon - at least, after the display settled down. Yes, Dagger was doing his job, and yes, a MeiCrackmon might seem unseemly - but did Holly have to tie herself half-into a pretzel at the golden knight's appearance?
"I... wouldn't say quite like her mother. But yes, dear old 'dad' is leaving another kitten for your group to look over." He'd give a nod, turning to Holly as she asked her question. "They're familiar with K, yes - both K and Dr. Mikemon. Dagger here is a good family friend, so don't cause them too much trouble?" Whether or not he was given that assurance, he'd turn back to face the Durandamon.
"Do you have it from here, or should I come along? Appearances aside, the lack of natural light here does not do much for me."

"Well she certainly got being highstrung from Mikemon." The Durandamon quipped simply arching a brow at the Meicrackmon's rather loud display though the fact the golden digimon hadn't immediately turning into a whirlwind of death and blades seemed to be reassuring the nervous passerby's that were familiar with him. He'd seen the Doctor jump just as much on the rare occasions, but never to the point of his hair standing on end. Honestly if she wasn't a parasitic death cat Dagger would even say the Meicackmon looked cute all fluffed up like that.
"I can take it from here if you'd like Stingmon. Though you know you are always welcome. I believe if your interested in a cup of tea Doc should have a fresh pot on around this time." Dagger offered a slight smile playing across his lips as he considered Holly's words unsure how to explain that this was a city of scary people, founded by scary people, for scary people, so they could live relatively normal lives without always being referred to as 'scary' people.
"My apologies for startling you. As Stingmon mentioned my name is Dagger. I am on of the Doctor's partners, but I don't believe I've gotten your name?" He spoke politely introducing himself and waiting for Holly to do the same. Hoping the casualness of it all would help put the Meicrackmon a touch more at ease.

Honestly as far as things went it was probably a good thing that she freaked out so much at the appearance of the golden sword toting quadra wielding digimon. If she had any other sort of reaction from seeing such a powerful form people probably would of questioned her further. But as it went she was pretty sure this thing was one of the stronger mons she'd of ran into. Even her 'boss' was just a ravemon. Well. She didn't even know what level was what so it was hard to gauge exactly. As many mons had different stages for things.
"....Dagger. Okay. Uhm. Right I'll try not to uh... Okay. Well if they're a family friend I don't... think I have to worry then..."
The meicrackmon let out an exasperated sigh and visibly deflated further as stingmon talked to the Durandamon. She'd slowly pat down her fur and let out another longer much less frustrated sounding sigh before shaking her head. Jeez she was brought down here without much more of an explanation about seeing a doctor and not only was she brought into a place with scary people; there was a big golden scary guy and well... Just how many other scary people were here?!
"Oh you're a tamer digimon? Uhm. I'm.. I'm holly uh... Pleased to meet you Dagger..."
The meicrackmon leaned a little bit and looked around flicking her ears as she could see a few people here or there paying less and less attention to them as they were now more... well what was the word. 'Safe?' it was hard to really figure out what she could call this.
"People seem to be a touch nervous, is... that because of me?"
There was a small pause and the meicrackmon would lean forward flicking an ear curiously as she stared at the Durandamon for an elongated period of time. She looked curious, she seemed curious and well... her questions eased out even though the situation she was in she deemed 'scary'.
"...I... never really have seen someone like you before Dagger... You're a lot more armored than most mon's I talk to. What... er... Is it for mostly battling if you've got swords for hands n' feet?"

"High-strung is a good word for it."
There was one thing about Holly: aside from family, she was relatively uncertain about newcomers. Honestly, the insect didn't know if Holly would really be alright around Cassandra and the rest of that rough group as much as Syre was - thus, he briefly thought about sticking around and taking Dagger's invitation.
"Hm. I'd better not - otherwise she might cling onto me a bit too much." Dagger could handle the rest of the questions, so Stingmon would simply reminder her: "Listen to what they say. Out here isn't the safest place, but you'll be fine once you're at their place." He'd give one nod to Holly, then towards Dagger.
"You all know what to do." They already had Syre as a visitor once, of course!

"She'll be safe with us," Dagger assured Stingmon, "After all she's a guest of the Doctor," He added letting his voice carry a touch, not yelling persay, but making no effort to hide his words. Around them a few of the still tense Digimon seemed to relax a touch. While perhaps Doctor Cross wasn't Mayor Wolf she was fairly well known to be particularly vicious in regards to the city's safety. The chance of her welcoming in anyone who might be a threat to the general populace was slim to none.
Turning to Holly however, Dagger indulged her curiosity with an amused hum. "I'll admit I was expecting your sister, but it's still a pleasure to meet you Holly." The Durandamon greeted pleasantly though his eyes softened a touch at her question.
"While it's no mark against you a lot of our citizens here are refugees and have had unfortunate dealings with either feral Meicoomon evolutions or...sanctioned Raguelmons. Generally Meicrackmons have only ever brought them pain and fear something I'm afraid my own team has not been spared from." Dagger explained with a small frown thinking not for the first time how incredibly lucky it was he ran into the pair first and not Cloak. The Tactimon had been practically glued to their Tamer's side since Cas's latest episode and likely would have shot first and asked questions later if he thought for a second Holly was a threat.
"If you could shift back down to your rookie form I believe they'll be less nervous. My partner and twin are waiting at the clinic if you'll follow me, but wait until I tell you to go inside. The last thing I want is for anyone to be startled and do something they might regret." The Durandamon explained leading Holly down a winding side alley that snaked them closer and closer to the arena proper.
"And while yes this form is for combat it's mostly for show. I'm not fond of fighting, but neither am I afraid of it. It's just easier if your opponent doesn't want to start anything to begin with." Dagger explained hoping that made sense.

"I'd say nervous. Nervous? Nervous."
The meicrackmon let out a small somewhat bemused chuckle that spoke of actually just how nervous she was feeling. However the thought of her clinging to the stingmon made her snort and she'd flatten her ears against her head at the sheer audacity of that! She didn't.. cling to anyone. Nope. Not even once.
"All right Uncle Stingy. I'll see you later then..."
Honestly who else was she going to listen to at this point? Iris wasn't here, Stingmon was going to be leaving and there was the jolly golden giant with swords for hands. If she was going to be listening to anyone it'd be the one that could keep her safe here.
"Oh! You've met Syre? Wait. Did Da even tell you guys about me?"
The meicrackmon tilted her head slightly, truth be told holly was only a couple months old at best and with the constant state of things moving it would be hard to remember everything or be told everything. Then came the explanation of people having unfortunate dealings with her kind. She'd bring a finger to her cheek and idly scratch at it.
"...Jeez that's not nice... I can... see why they'd- Wait. What's a raguelmon?"
Then the larger golden mon asked if she could shift down to her rookie form. She'd blink a bit and shrug the light washing over her and now she was simply just a meicoomon; the rookie version of which. She'd stretch and crack her neck with a small huff.
"It'll be a little harder to keep up with you Mr. Dagger but okay! Ah... a-alright..."
The meicoomon sighed a bit and scampered after the Durandamon as he further explained that she should also wait to go inside. Who exactly would she... startle. Well if he was a twin it would probably be his twin! Or tamer. Or both. Or anyone else in there.
"Who would want to start something with someone literally made out of swords? But I got to ask Mr. Dagger, how do you open doors? Like do you chomp on them or wait for someone else? Or are there slider doors you can just sort of brush open? I don't... really like fighting either to be perfectly honest... It's... difficult to really explain why..."
There was a small pause and she'd let out a small confused sound; but then came the flow of questions pertaining to dagger and his twin.
"And what about your twin? Is he like you too? Like does he have axes for hands if you have swords? Is he silver instead of gold? OH! Does he have a cape? Do you have a cape but just have it rolled up somewhere?"

"I'm afraid your Father and you Aunt haven't had much of a chance to converse casually of late so we weren't aware of you, but that doesn't mean we're no less pleased to meet you." Dagger explained assuring her gently. He knew after all that while his twin and tamer might be nervous at first Cas considered Mikemon her family and his family was her family.
"Raguelmon's are angelic Digimon from your line often used by Luminas to hunt down virus type digimon and kill them. My brother and I are quite different in appearance, but I'm told I'm the more approachable of the two of us and~" Dagger trailed off the blades of his arms coalescing in light to become normal albeit golden hands. "I'm able to open and close doors this way." He explained with an indulgent smile as they slipped through the archway of the arena revealing the sandy arena floor covered no longer with opponents, but having been turned into a decent sized market. Various exotic scents and sounds filled the air of different digimon hawking their wares from all over the digital and even human world from brightly colored stall tents.
"Are you hungry?" The Durandamon asked gently. "I know you've come a long way and we're not in any rush. I believe Cassandra is on egg-babysitting duty right now while her partners team is out in the field."

"Wait this doctor that I'm meeting... is my aunt?"
The meicoomon blinked owlishly and looked up at dagger, flicking her ears forward in obvious interest. She hadn't met anyone outside of her immediate family but she wasn't even aware that her parents had had relatives! Wait... if she was her aunt did that mean that one of them was part human? The meicoomon's face shifted from curiosity to confusion back to curiosity then she'd simply shake her head.
"Well... I didn't know about you either but it's always nice meeting new people! And... well family I didn't know I had."
Holly let out a small chuckle and watched dagger closely as he spoke. So Raguelmons were angelic digimon, of her line that were often used by Luminas? She'd frown a little bit and look down at her hands. Was she capable of that form perhaps? She didn't know. She'd slowly grit her teeth and just dip her head in a nod at learning that information.
"I see. Well... I don't know if I have that form, I'm not like any of the cat type digimon's I've met thus far. Like my Da or Syre, or Mae... And She's a meicoomon too for petermon's sake... Oooh?"
The meicoomon's eyes brightened and she'd bounce on her feet for a few seconds. So he didn't just have to run around with swords for hands! That was so cool and everything in her posture screamed that she found it so. However the meicoomon would halt around the entry of the arena her hands shooting up to her nose as the exotic scents started to make themselves known.
"Oof! that is one heck of a smell! Uh..."
The meicoomon put a hand to her stomach as it let out a rumbling growl and she'd look up at the Durandamon with a small frown on her face.
"Egg sitting duty? Oh uhm... I could go for something to eat. Are... are you hungry Mr. Dagger?"

"Well she's your adopted Aunt. Her and Mikemon are about as close as siblings and I'm fairly certain she'd gut any Mon that looked at him or your family twice. Doc doesn't really have a lot of family other then your Dad." Dagger explained clearly rather charmed by the small feline as he guided her into the market proper chuckling as she briefly covered her nose overwhelmed with the scent of goods and spices. The growl of her stomach only earning Holly yet another short good natured laugh from the Mega.
"I've already eaten kid, but come on. It'll be my treat. You ever had kabobs? If not you're gonna love em. They're meat and veggies on a stick drizzled with spices and sauce and then grilled over an open flame. Stuffs to die for." The Durandamon explained guiding Holly towards a small food stall where the smell of roasting meat hung rich and heavy in the air manned by a Blue Meramon. Dagger didn't elaborate when it came to the egg instead choosing to swiftly distract the small cat.
"You like seafood or red meat Holly?" Dagger questioned with a smile the Blue Meramon perking up as he realized he had customers.
"We've got digital and human world meats. Fish, shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, you name it we have it." The Meramon explained preening at his post clearly rather proud at the large selection he could provide here.

"Ohhhh okay! That makes sense. Guess our family really is small..."
There was a distinct pause, Holly frowned and found herself looking around the marketplace a little more after her nose decided it wasn't going to be upset by all the scents that were 'attacking' it. She'd sneeze a few times and shake her head looking somewhat bashful at the fact her stomach had growled at such a time.
"I've... never had a kabob before no... oooo! That sounds super tasty!"
The meicoomon bounced a bit and allowed herself to be guided along. Well not so much allowed as practically leaped into the idea of having some meat; the smell of roast making her mouth water and the meicoomon drooled a little bit. Though she'd wipe away that drool after a few moments once she noticed it.
"I... I like fish a lot. I fish a lot. Because I like fish. A lot. But I also really like Red meat too! Well not as much as fish. But I still like it!"
The meicoomon bounced a bit and jumped to see at the post that was in front of her. Her eyes widening to the size of dinner plates as she could see everything in front of her. But then she paused, screwed up her face in plain confusion and looked up at Dagger.
"...It kind of occurs to me... I might of read a lot of stuff about the human world, like their history and stuff but I don't know... much about them or their cuisine. Is it safe for digimon to eat human stuff? Probably doesn't help I've never... met one either..."

"Here kid." Dagger murmured dipping to hoist Holly up under his arm so she cold get a good look at the various food options. Most of the meats were paired with mushrooms though some were paired with mushrooms and peppers and other digital fruits and vegetables.
"Digimon can eat human food relatively safely. I lived in the human world for quite some time. Here you don't have to pick just one." The Durandamon explained glancing up at the Blue Meramon the digimon perking up as it became apparent they were about to order.
"We'll take eight beef kabobs, four fish kabobs, and four shrimp kabobs. Extra mushrooms on the shrimp. The shrimp and four of the beef are to-go." Dagger ordered as the Meramon nodded.
"Right away chief." He quipped before grabbing a couple of the beef and fish ones from the grill and leaning over to hand them to Holly. "And here's your Kabobs little Lady. Enjoy." The Chef murmured with a wry smile giving Holly a chance to eat while he whipped up the rest of the order and grilled it.
