It was kind of unfortunate that Lego couldn't really give them any help in getting back to the surface. Or getting home. Nonetheless, the group needed to set foot into this...city. It was a lot more...intimidating to Mao in some ways than Terminus had been, though that could largely be attributed to one thing. Uncertainty. "...So we could just...go find the exit over at that city, right? Or ask that innkeeper, or..." Mao's mumbling continued, before she was cut off by a sudden...buzz in her head. The girl put a hand on her forehead before peering around. I have the distinct feeling we'll find just about everything we need to know if we head to the city. And possibly more.
The girl glanced towards her company, the Ashikaga clan, as though asking them for input on where to go. Mao seemed a little tired... Tsukiko & The Ashikaga Clan

A lot had happened in Arcaria. Tsukiko had made a new human friend and the Ashikaga Clan had met two little (but very powerful) brothers. Together, they had defeated the not so evil Lego, who had brought them into that virtual reality where everyone was the same. All of this was topped by Mitsuharu getting an amazing new form. However, now that they were back at reality, they were still trapped, now in a place called The Hardware Den.
Some different types of robot-like and weird organic digimon walked around the road they were taking, heading to the city.
“So that was your champion level form, right?” Tsukiko, with both hands inside her purple jacket, spoke to Mitsuharu, while the fairly large group walked. It was probably the time to tackle this topic, since hadn't got time to properly react to this. “It is, Sensei. We also call that the adult form.” The Bushi Agumon answered.
In the meantime, Pike and Ramma walked with Mao.
“So, Mao~ru.” Pike, who had adopted Mao’s nickname with no trouble from his brother, addressed the orange-haired girl. “What happened with alien-dude once we got out of Arcaria? He was a ghost or something?” The Thunderballmon asked, walking by her side. “From what I understood when we spoke earlier, you can transform into him, right? What’s that about?” Much like his brother, Ramma was pretty curious. The metallic bean’s eyes widened as if he had remembered something out of nowhere. And boy, was it important.
“THAT’S RIGHT!” He pointed at Mao with his glove. “You told me that you’d help me and Pike with our quest, right? Right, Mao~Ru!?” Visibly excited, he turned towards his brother. “I forgot to tell you, Pike! They are going to help us!”
“T-They are?” Pike quirked an eyebrow. He knew the Ashikagas and the alien were tough, which was exactly what they needed, but… “Are you strong?” He asked, looking at Mao from head to feet.
Kissu stiffed a quiet giggle from behind.
The fairly large group kept walking to the city, which was now closer and closer.

Some of the robots regarded the strangers warily. Mechanical whispers echoed among them. Questions that the robots and organics alike could not answer alone? Were they with the maroon scourge? ...They seemed distrustful either way.
Mao on the other hand glanced to the two tiny ball Digimon. "Do you know what a Spirit Wielder is?" She asked of the two. A simple question, no points if you're right or wrong. "I'm going to help you, yes. I'm...not that strong. Not on my own, but..."
"Add me into the mix and we're strong enough to take down anything. As for what happened to me, whatever was allowing me to exist outside of Mao stopped. While I lived once, I now do not once more. " A familiar voice rang out as Vemmon showed himself. Or, rather, an apparition of Vemmon. It was half of his body, and he was protruding from Mao's shoulder.
The city did draw ever closer, and at the gate were two Andromon, both of whom seemed to be quite alert. They took one look at the approaching group (specifically the spirit of Vemmon) and got into a stance indicating they were ready to attack...Before they dropped it.
"Greeting: Hello. We apologize for the sudden display of hostility. We simply mistook...that for a wanted individual." One of the Andromon spoke, pointing at Vemmon as the group approached. Mao just...remained quiet and looked around (she seemed a bit skittish), while Vemmon folded his arms. "Is this one of those 'we don't take kindly to freaks around here' kinds of cities?" The alien spat.
"Retort: Yes, actually. But you're purple, not red, so you get half a pass. The meatbags get no passes but are free to pass anyway, so long as they don't give us any viruses. Please provide identification to prove you're not the CRIMSON FU- error. Please provide identification."

“G-Ghost!” Ramma pointed at the ghastly figure, his eyes wide open. Tsukiko and Mitsuharu themselves turned their heads to see the apparition of Vemmon, right there. It was a good thing they had already faced their own share of ghosts before, thanks to Kissu. This made Tsukiko not feel too terrified about the thing. “So that’s what you told me about. So he was the alien who helped Mitsuharu and Ramma’s brother to save us back in Arcaria.” Her right hand inside her pocket, Tsuiko wrinkled her mouth, looking at Mao. "Thank you, Vemmon." “So you’re dead.” Pike got closer to the alien, examining the figure from up front. “Back in that game, you seemed so… alive. Amazing.”
Finally, the group had reached the city’s front gate. There, two androids stood in their way. While they spoke to Vemmon, Mao analyzed them with her D-Terminal “Andromon…” She muttered. It seemed like these guys were strong, so better not mess with them. “Purple, not… red?” Kissu tilted her head, a bit confused at the statement issued by the digimon. “Well, my name is Tsukiko Ashikaga. These are Mitsuharu Ashikaga and Kissu Ashikaga. We are the Ashikaga clan. And I do not appreciate you calling me a ‘meatbag’” Her hands on her hip, Tsukiko leaned forward, staring at the android with her big blue eyes. She then blinked twice, and turned towards Mao. She assumed her friend was more than capable of identifying herself, right? “I’m the great Pike and this is Ramma, my brother.” The Thunderballmon quirked a wary eyebrow, staring at the two robots. “What’s this about a wanted individual. And why did you mistake the alien for it?” Kissu, stepped forward; asking the necessary questions in the name of the group, as usual.

The alien gave a simple nod. As though aiding them was really nothing. He knew that humans valued stuff like that a lot, though. "Yes. Yet I live through Mao. Despite her...lack of self...Basically, she gets herself into trouble a lot." The alien attempted to explain, before they were stopped by the Andromon.
Speaking of. "Yes. Red. Red is the color of the wanted individual. And if you aren't a meatbag, why do you have meatbags?" The android inquired, something that earned him a solid SLAP across the face from his compatriot. "That is rude. Do not speak to the female humanoid like that. What next, are you going to call the orange one a skinny cheeto puff?" The other Andromon was silent after that.
Mao's one response? "I'm not a cheeto...Uh. I'm Mao. Mao Kita. The spirit's Vemmon." That name made the bonked Andromon raise a figurative brow. "A Vemmon. The one we seek is also a Vemmon. We mistook your aide for it because...they're much the same. Save for color. Our designations are Styx 1." The Andromon pointed to himself, before he gestured to the bonker. "And Styx 2."
Vemmon tapped his chin some. "...A red Vemmon...That's likely one of my spawn. We're already rare as is--though I'm impressed that that one survived...And made it out here. I'd be tempted to offer help with pest control, but that requires everyone to be...unanimous. According to Mao, people are terrible at that." He noted. "I never said that!" Mao suddenly retorted!

"W-What do you mean!?" With both hands, Tsukiko immediately zipped her purple jacket, covering her white tank top. Oh my god. Was she blushing? Although considering herself not a blush-y person, the Android's comment had probably caused that on her. This was probably waved off by the other robot slapping him; that startled her a little.
While he heard the conversation develop, Ramma could only think Mao Kita was a pretty interesting being. She reacted with such passivity towards offensive comments, but she was also capable of yelling at Lego at the middle of a battle, risking her life in the process. She was... again, interesting.
Mitsuharu remained silent, just staring at the Andromons.
"You even have robot-like names." Tsukiko pouted, crossing her arms. "Wait. Spawns? So this Red Vemmon they're looking is like a... brood of yours?" Kissu looked at Vemmon, fairly confused.
"Wait... You mean, us?" Apparently, this alien used a language that could be hard to comprehend for a person with such a straight vocabulary as the leader of the Ashikagas. "You want us to help you hunt your child?" Her blue eyes went to Mitsuharu, who simply shrugged.
"Well, I guess we kind of own you. But first..." Tsukiko rubbed her belly over her purple jacket. "We should look for a place to eat." They had checked the time in their D-Terminals and discovered they had only been four hours inside of Arcaria. That meant it was almost nighttime outside, even though they couldn't tell down here.
Her eyes then went to the Androids. They could probably find some food inside that inn Lego recommended, so... "Hey... Styx, right? Tell me, where is Goyo's Inn located? Can you point us there? We really would like to grab a bite."

"They're cracking jokes about your figure. Something I'd try beating them up for if that weren't such a bad idea." Mao noted, pushing her glasses up and patting Tsu on the shoulder. "...You okay?" She actually did seem a bit concerned, probably an improvement over how passive she was being earlier.
Vemmon nodded towards Kissu. "Yes. Spawn. When I was alive, I had six of them in total. I...don't know the fate of the other five, but the red one is the first. And yes, if it'll get us help in getting out of here, I'm willing to beat the tar out of the red one." Did said red one even have a name?
Of course, the very literal moment that Tsu suggested looking for a place to eat, Mao's stomach growled. Audibly. "...I'd like some food. Dunno what there is to eat here, but...yeah."
Styx--BOTH of them, in fact, looked between each other. Which one was the meatbag talking to...? The one that got struck for being honestly pretty rude just looked away while Styx 2 took that question. "Goyo's..." He repeated. He raised his arm and pointed further into the city. "Forward and to the east. And between you and me, I'll see to it that Styx 1 gets disciplined properly. Humans, while a rarity here, should not be treated that way. I apologize."

Letting go a long sigh, Tsukiko lowered her shoulders. “I… understood what they meant.” She pointed out. Mao’s obliviousness was usually very funny… except in this particular scenario. “I am.” She answered. “Thanks.”
“So you died, but they… didn’t?” Ramma blinked twice, staring at Vemmon’s apparition. It was a … quirky scenario, to say the least. Some of this sounded awfully familiar to him, in a sense.
“Well, do you think it’ll help us in getting out of here?” Pike quirked an eyebrow at the alien. After a brief moment of silence, he added something else. “In any case, I suppose it’s not nice to have your child committing crimes while you’re… dead.” He then shifted his gaze towards the Styx blocking the entrance. “What did this Red Vemmon… do, exactly? Why is he a wanted criminal?”
Tsukiko stiffed a quiet laugh behind her hand, after hearing Mao’s belly growl. “I think we all need it.”
“Well, I appreciate that.” Tsukiko showed a wide grin at Styx 2. “Unlike him, I think you are… kind of cute.” She winked an eye at the Andromon, before starting to move forward and pass by the two robots. “Okay everyone, let’s go to Goyo’s inn, replenish some energies, and then get to looking for Vemmon’s evil spawn.”
“Sounds like a plan.” Mitsuharu stated in a low tone of voice, as usual. He then started walking behind his tamer.

"That's good...Um. Sorry if I'm not helping a lot. Even though I've been in a similar situation before, it's...kind of difficult to figure out how to get around it if that makes sense...? Just...Just ignore them. "
Meanwhile, with Vemmon, the spirit shook his head. "You're sort of right there. I did die, but they were not involved with my death. That...was the fault of another. In any case? Yes, yes I do think it'll help. Namely it'll help us not get mistaken for a wanted criminal. ...Speaking of? What -did- he do?" The spirit asked the Styx units.
They were at least able to respond. "The red one's wanted for several counts of trespassing and manslaughter. Also, he keeps smearing "REX WAS HERE" in what looks like red data on everything, it's really annoying to clean up." Styx 2 would actually blush if he could at the compliment. It was nice to hear, regardless. "Oh. Thank you." The android took a bow, before waving after the group.
Vemmon simply disappeared as Mao followed the clan. "...I kind of think we came here at a strange time." She noted. How long had this been...going on?

The group was now walking through the city, following Styx’s indications. Which one? Whatever was the cute one, in Tsukiko’s book. “I… got a question for you later on.” Was Tsukiko's sole answer to what Mao was saying. “And I would like you to be honest.”“So apparently this spawn of Vemmon seems very dangerous, Mao~Ru.” Ramma walked close by the orange haired girl, musing about what they had just heard. Much like the road heading to it, the streets of the city were full of digimon going one way and another. All of them seemed like they were perfectly fine living down her with no sunlight whatsoever. The city didn’t seem too clean and the buildings were extremely close to one another, which only made easier for them to potentially get lost. Luckily, it didn’t take much for the group to reach the entrance of a building with a very modest front. According to indications, this was it Once they entered, they could tell the insides of the inn were very fitting with the façade of the front side. Ultimately, this was fine; it wasn’t as if the rest of the buildings around town seemed very luxurious on the outside either. Everything seemed made of old wood, the illumination was very scarce and the whole place was seemingly empty Tsukiko passed by some tables and approximated the counter, ringing a small bell resting on top. “Hello?” The girl asked. “Yes.” “Is anyone here?” She rang the bell one more time. “Yes, of course.”“Hiiiiii?” Tsukiko just constantly slammed the small bell over and over again. “I SAID I’M HERE, AREN’T YOU LISTENING!?”It was only then the sound of a very sweet, tiny voice reached Tsukiko’s ears. She turned to see a small blue ball of fur just, frowning at her, and casually wallowing on top of the cushions of one of the chairs she had passed by on her way to the counter. “S-Sorry! I didn’t see you.” The girl apologized. The blue thing didn’t seem to be to affected by this. A smile appeared once again on his face, as he kept wallowing. . . . “…S-So?” Tsukiko asked, even a bit afraid. “So?”“We’re looking for Goyo. Do you know him?” Tsukiko quirked an eyebrow at the creature. “Of course I do.” He answered. “Oh, good.” She smiled. “Yes.”. . .“… So?”“So?”The Ashikagas, Ramma, and Pike just stared at the scene, visibly confused. The fuzzy ball just kept wallowing, letting go a very audible purr while he did.

"A-Alright. Of course." Mao blinked a bit at that. A question? Must be pretty important. The girl looked down to Ramma as she walked. "Considering we're talking about the alleged spawn of a dead Digimon who has repeatedly threatened to eat various people's entrails? Yeah. Pretty dangerous."
"In my defense, it's pretty great for intimidation tactics." The alien's voice could be heard ringing from the D-Tector. Mao was pretty shocked at the inside of the inn. "...Woah." This looked run down...What gives? Tsukiko's mass ringing of the bell revealed a Wanyamon.
"Hey, I've seen one of you guys before." Mao noted, walking over to gently pet the little ball. "Could you take us to Goyo if you know him? We're kind of hungry and need a place to rest for a bit. Also plan something out, but mostly rest."
...Unless the little Wanyamon -was- Goyo. In which case, this might be awkward.

It kinda shocked Ramma the easiness Mao approached and pet the furry digimon with. Again, Mao Kita was a very interesting combination of different types of personalities merged into one human.
“In any case, it seems like this is the place. So we should probably make ourselves comfortable.” Pike noted, his arms crossed. “Most definitely.” Already sitting down in the chair next to Wanyamon, Kissu took a sip of hot tea.
“W-Where did you even get the tea!?”
The Wanyamon just kept wallowing, this time leaning his body a little bit upwards, to rub himself on Mao’s hand. “One of us?” He asked, not too interested. “Yes.” A brief silence ensued his affirmation. “There.” He just added, after doing absolutely nothing.
“Could it be that…?” Tsukiko muttered, finally starting to reach a conclusion.
“WE’VE GOT CLIENTS!” The Wanyamon shouted, loudly, making everyone in the room crimp their bodies, a bit startled. If there was someone inside the inn that didn’t hear that bell, they were definitely going to hear this.
Goyo (?) just kept wallowing over the cushion.

Mao seemed at ease right now. Then again? Who wouldn't be when they were petting a cute little fuzzball. "One of us...?" She repeated. The Wanyamon was quickly weirding her out with this talking to nothing. Perhaps he was communicating with something. "Could what b-..." She was just about to ask Tsukiko before Goyo(?)'s shout startled her to the point where she jumped!
"W-W-Watch it!" Mao exclaimed before she made a small attempt to calm her nerves. She moved to sit next to Kissu, and sighed. "...Man, this is a great chair. Was I walking too long?" She mused, peering around for any indicators of anyone else being in this fine establishment.
She also looked to Tsu and gave her a shrug.

Did Mao just repeated his question? “… You are not very smart, are ya’?” The fuzzy ball asked, looking at the orange-haired human and then snickering. “You sure know how to pet, though.” He added, rubbing the upper part of his body against the girl's hand.
“I think this is Goyo.” Kissu pointed out. Tsukiko nodded right away. “Yes.” “Well, we hadn’t taken a seat since everything started in Arcaria. I’m really tired too.” Ramma took a seat on the other side of the same table where Mao and Kissu were at.
Some seconds have gone by after the Wanyamon’s shout, but no one seemed to come out.
“So…?” Tsukiko asked, again, confused. “Why is no one c-?” “It’s my assistant. She must be sleeping in the back. Could you go get her?” Goyo asked, still wallowing around Mao’s hand.
Tsukiko shrugged and left her chair to walk towards a door near the end of the counter, that seemed to lead to the back of the inn; some sort of storage. Mitsuharu and Pike followed her.
“Not you.” Goyo added, his yellow eyes looking up, to glare at Mao. “You keep petting.”
What would the trio find back there?

"No, I don't...get what you're saying." Mao tried to clarify. No, genuinely, this ball of fuzz was perplexing the hell out of her. Nonetheless, she was at least...able to keep the attention of Goyo. Kind of helped that she had soft hands. "Um...Who's your assistant?" Mao thought it'd be good to inquire. Or keep the room from falling silent. She wasn't sure why she specifically had to stay and keep petting the Wanyamon but...He was the innkeeper. Didn't want to get thrown out of the one safe place where you could sit down, right? "Er. Actually, I should rephrase that...What's your assistant like? Is she nice?" Within that storage room was...well. A storage room. Boxes and crates lined the room, except for one portion. There was a bed with a sleeping...humanoid on it. One with a trident and a cute pink hat. Perhaps this was the assistant spoken of.
