"Well I suppose simple is often nice, but I feel like you've got a bit more going on than you lead me to believe," She chuckled, taking another sip from her glass as their waiter came back with each of their meals. "Then again it's not every day I receive compliments, so I'll entertain it this once."
It was nice to be past the awkward stage of the date, now they were simply throwing playful jabs back and forth at each other and it was rather entertaining; more fun than staying in like Eden had originally planned, smiling as she pulled apart the rather fancy set of chopsticks as she eyed the meal in front of her with great admiration. While she was fine with any low-budget meal being able to enjoy a fancy spread like this was a treat in itself. Eden picked lightly at the cutlets and shredded cabbage as the other took the opportunity to turn the blondes comment back on herself yet again, and in her know painfully half-drunken state it could work.
"I mean I don't mind it, perhaps I'm just not used to getting attention...so It's okay if you can't keep your eyes off me," Eden winked, her face flushed a deep red as she simply allowed the words to spill over, while not necessarily her first choice they served their purpose well enough for the moment. "Oh please, I may be old, but I still know how the teenage mind works." She chuckled, "But I'll take your word for it." Allowing herself to take another sip of champagne, her mind now light and fuzzy, clearly running on auto-pilot as she spoke, giggling uncharacteristically at the woman's comment. "You know I have great hearing, but maybe if you behave I'll give you a kiss on the cheek, maybe even let you hold my hand so you'll have something to write about me in your diary." She teased again with a smile.
Eden nodded lightly as the other spoke, noting her date of birth as she tried to recall her signs compatibility chart- things she'd research in her early teen years, before sliding her nearly empty wine glass forward for a refill. "I'm November seventeenth, and if my memory serves correct our signs are pretty difficult to match up...fire and ice basically, but that's if you believe in that stuff anyway." She stated before lightly biting into a slice of the cutlet, silencing herself as she went through the eating procedure as she felt her spirit lingering over her shoulder again, shuddering as she felt the colder presence now that she was at a mental disadvantage, she needed a distraction...food? Couples fed each other right?
"Oh, you're still rather new here, so you may not have had a chance to try Tonkatsu yet," She gave an innocent smile as she used the normal utensils to cut a small piece before placing cabbage on top of it with the chopsticks as she held it out for the other, "Here say 'ahh'," a blush forming on her cheeks as she heard the words leave her mouth, she leaned forward a bit as she gently offered out a piece to Leo, more teasing but also an act to help pull her mind back into reality.

"Well, you can't judge a book by it's cover, am I right?" She smiled raising her cup "Maybe you discover something about me that I don't know, who knows?"
Eleonora was having the time of her life now that the awkward part was gone and both girls were having fun, so much that in fact she forgot about the food and seeing such delicious looking plate of pasta with red sauce made the German girl drool a little, the only obstacle between her and the food was the little embarrassing fact that she didn't knew how to use the chopsticks... She try her best but every attempt end up in not getting a single noodle, Leo just ended up calling the waiter and asking pretty please to bring her a fork or any kind of ordinary cutlery... While she waited the German kept listening to Eden.
"I'm glad I don't look like a creeper then" She chuckled and took another sip of her champagne "You can also take a look if you want, I wouldn't mind and it's fair you do the same, besides I'd like to know your full opinion about me" Finally the waiter came back and Leo could taste her food, tangling the noodles around the fork she took a bite, it was as tasty as they looked a little spicy but not too much "Awww does that mean that I'm not behaving?" The German pouted "I don't have a diary but for you I could start one just give a good reason, besides can you blame me for wanting to end this with fireworks? Who knows when I'm getting another date and have so much fun like I'm having right now? I promise that I won't bite I'm not into that"
She gave a small "Are you sure?" Look to the blonde as she went for another refill, even after just two cups the champagne was having an effect on Leo, she can't imagine what her date is feeling knowing that she said she's not much of a drinker, but in the end the German comply, she noted the sudden shudder Eden had but before she could say anything the girl offer to feed her the Tonkatsu prompting the German to turn completely red at that moment, this definitely send some mixed signals in one side she thought all this was harmless teasing but on the other... Eden was offering to feed her that's a couple thing, right? She close her eyes and lean forward nonetheless
"Ah..." And she took a bite, the cutlet was soft and while she wasn't a big fan of cabbages she didn't mind it "Mhm! You have really good taste!"

"Very true, as I said earlier 'you know what they say about assumptions'," She chuckled raising her glass a bit as the other continued, "And perhaps you'll learn a thing or two about me that I never knew."
While she wouldn't verbally give Leo the satisfaction of saying it she was actually having fun, but maybe it showed in her actions, after all, she did have a drink in her hand which was one of the easier ways to get the young woman to open up and engage in more entertaining conversation. Her only concern was not allowing herself to say something foolish or embarrassing. Too late, as Leo finished her statement Eden found her eyes wandering a bit down the visible figure.
"Well, who's to say I didn't already steal a few glances myself? I'd never actually tell you if I had already seen as I tease you enough for staring at me." She laughed a bit, it wasn't entirely a lie, then again she had a habit of looking over everyone she met, more for judgment of character and how they carried themselves. This time it may have been ogling her own but she had a bit too much pride to admit that. "Such a dangerous offer, I hope in the future you wouldn't extend that to other dates, I may get a bit jealous." She teased before giving the woman another once over. "I think you're a very beautiful woman, although y0our tomboyish side would counter that I'm sure you're adorable either way."
Chuckling at the woman's last comment before finishing off her remaining wine, "That's a shame because I am." She winked again, obviously a joke but she allowed her features to remain serious as she allowed the other to fill her glass again, against her better judgment.
"Then again, who knows if you keep this up I may want to see you again, seeing as you haven't made me get up and walk out in utter disappointment." A rather strange compliment but true since it was rare for the blonde to enjoy herself on these types of outings in general, so for Leo to not only get her to unwind but engage in rather playful banter was quite the feat. "But you should still buy yourself a journal...just in case."
Eden found herself blushing as the other leaned in to accept her offering. In a way, it was kind of..cute. She smiled as the other gave her approval, before taking another piece for herself. "It was really the only thing I liked when I first moved here since the general idea of eating raw fish used to scare me, so it quickly became my favorite dish." She explained as she straightened out again, before asking a new question, "So what's your favorite thing about Japan so far? I know you said you haven't been here long but I know in a place like this it's easy to get sidetracked and find something new and interesting."

After finishing her glass and refilling it Leo blushed when hear that Eden might've been ogling her too, of course the blonde wouldn't say if she did or not, but for the German that sound kinda like a confession disguise with a maybe or Eleonora was overthinking everything at this point thanks to the effects of the alcohol on her...
"Well, as long as you enjoy the view I won't complain" She kept eating listening to what her date said, somehow the alcohol that Leo use to even the game have made Eden even braver than before, she's throwing jabs non stop. "Well that offer depends on were we end on this date, but if things do end in fireworks you don't have to fear anything"
Leo wasn't use to compliments so every single one that she receive it made her blush harder and harder, but being call beautiful was the last straw and she went full red and like at the start of the date she cover her face and took some minutes to regain composure.
"Fine, I give up you won this fight even with my magic potion I am no match for such experience on the tease fight" Said the German laughing and taking another sip of her drink "In all honesty tho, I'm really glad that you're having fun, I know I'm having it despite being on the short end of the stick most of the time, so congrats to you too for me not walking out" She raised her cup and leaned forward waiting for Eden to do the same and clash glasses "Cheers~"
For the last question she needed to think really hard as she didn't spend much time here before getting dropped into the digital world and spend sometime there before getting back for a small break and that break end up being this date so...
"Well, I've been a lot on the River, there's something peaceful about that place that I love, of cvourse it'll be better if the water wasn't so polluted, aside from that I love the Miyashita park too, so many pretty flowers" And that was the extent of all she knows about Japan.... Fortunately the German already had a plan for this question "Maybe after dinner you can take me to your favorite places and help me get to know Shibuya a little more~"

"All very beautiful places, maybe we could head over to Miyashita Park after dinner that's one of my favorite places to visit whenever I need or break or if I just want to clear my head." She smiled as she took a sip of her wine, "Maybe...next time I could show you around Shibuya if you're interested? Of course, It's okay If you don't want to." Eden felt her face growing warm as a blush spread across her cheeks as she basically asked the woman out on another date. While she didn't like people in general Elenora had a certain air about her that Eden found entertaining to be around, Eden was hoping she'd left the same impression on the blonde despite her constant teasing. For a moment she found herself simply gazing over the other, a slight smile on her face before shaking herself back into reality again. "So what's Germany like? I'd imagine a tad bit different than Japan and more comforting knowing that you're back home in a familiar place." She asked, wanting to know more about the woman while she continued to lightly pick at her food. Devoting her full attention to the other as she ate, still sipping lightly at her wine but when their waiter came by to check on them she took care to order them both water, mainly because she wanted to try and clear her head and prevent any later headaches, also so she wouldn't embarrass herself any further. "I know a huge difference here is the weather and layout. It's a bit more reliant on technology, but then again I think that's just society today and I'd have to say both Canada and Japan have beautiful scenery." She smiled before pausing briefly, "Though I'd prefer the wilderness back home even though Shibuya has its own little places I enjoy visiting from time to time," Eden stated before thinking back to the many places she'd visit during her free time, including the newly discovered digital world and its mysteries. Realizing she'd been rambling Eden quickly allowed for Leo to direct the conversation, leaning in as she listened, the waiter had returned with two small glasses of water placing both in front of each individual before tending to other tables while they spoke, time flying by a bit. Eden hadn't even noticed until her phone buzzed lightly from the small handbag in her lap, "Excuse me." She pulled the device from her bag, noting another text from her mother. Mom: How's it going? Is he nice? oooh is he a doctor?  Eden: It's going fine, and she's adorable. Mom: Ahhh!!! Even better! Is she cute? I want details!! Come by this weekend pleeease! She rolled her eyes before smiling as she put her phone away, "I'm sorry, my mom is a bit eccentric...what were you saying?" She gave a slight bow of her head in an apology before returning her gaze onto the other blonde, as she waited for her to continue the conversation. [505 Words]

"A second date?" The German asked a little surprised "Looks like I made a really good impression if you want a second round" Eleonora giggled "Yes, I'd love it if you show me around"
"Nothing to lose and everything to win" that phrase was the one that made Leo enter the blind date and while it was true she didn't expect this to go as well as it did, it's been fun so far and Eden is a really interesting girl that also show interest on the German and even flirt with her!
"Not much to tell, I guess when you live there you don't notice what makes your city special" The blonde shrugged "Berlin is a big city and many people call it the cultural center of Europe, the city has a ton of museums, libraries, galleries and musical events which shouldn't be a surprise since our Philharmonic was vote as the third best orchestra in the world" Eleonora made a pause to finish her drink before continuing, what else could she tell? "Oh right, every 22th of February Berlin's Internation Film Festival is held you could think of it like the Oscars, my grandparents never miss one show so I got use to watch it"
She then made a pause and listen to Eden, the girl made a point Japan seemed more reliable on technology than Germany although she couldn't say anything about the weather as she has not spend that much time on Shibuya, Eleonora noted that her date was on the phone so she stop and gave her space, drinking the glass of water the waiter just brought the German smile warmly looking at Eden
"Gossiping about me already?" She had to make that joke "Hope she doesn't mind me being a girl"
That was actually something she didn't consider, well at least she didn't need to consider it because her grandparents where on Germany and her father.... That was a little complicated but let's not enter on details nor over complicate things, better enjoy the night
"So... Since the film festival was brought up what kind of movies do you like?"

Eden found herself looking away, a bit embarrassed from the sudden realization of what she just did, "Well yeah...I mean I think you're fun to be around and I think It'd be nice to see you again, maybe outside of such a formal setting?" She chuckled as she looked over the German, "And I figured you'd be too shy to ask me yourself, so consider it an act of kindness." The blonde teased.
While she didn't agree to the idea of a blind date initially it wasn't as bad as she thought it'd be, in fact, she was enjoying herself and even if it didn't turn into a romantic relationship having a new friend was just as good in her opinion, plus it was fun to see how flustered the other blonde would get from Eden's teasing.
"I suppose that is true, now that I think about it I couldn't really tell you anything special about Canada if I tried." She chewed at the inside of her lip for a moment as she listened, nodding briefly. "It sounds like a lovely place, I'll have to add it to my list of places to visit, Ontario is just really pretty, a lot of forest and lakes, just natural scenery overall or at least that's what I prefer to take from it all," Eden stated before finishing off her drink as well, allowing Leo to carry on with her following statement.
A slight smile crept onto her face as she looked away from the young woman, shaking her head silently. "Oh yeah, telling her all about how you were awestruck when we first met, to your attempting to get me drunk and how you're quite the adorable little devil." Eden teased as she giggled a bit, "And no she doesn't mind, too be honest I think she's more excited than before which can only end up in an hours worth of conversation for me." She gave a simple shrug, "She'd be happy either way though to be fair."
She allowed her mind to wander to the eccentric behavior of her mother, which in turn earned a light smile from Eden before she mentally returned to the conversation.
"Hmmm, mainly horror, some action, and a few comedies but I'd have to be in the mood for it I suppose, and the action movies can't just ake up for bad writing with explosions and car chases...so that eliminates most of them right away, What about you?" She asked before taking a sip from the glass of water, "I'd peg you as the cheesy romance type right?" Another playful jab, just to keep Leo on her toes even though Eden was clearly enjoying herself.

The German couldn't hold her laughter after hearing that statement, there was something oddly funny about it, sure she's been awkward and shy this whole date but who says that she wouldn't ask for a second one? They had so much fun that might as well give it another go
"I mean, I'd totally invite you without much hesitation, but I thought it'll be best if we spend sometimes as friends before going for another one, but if you want to skip some steps I won't say no" Eleonora smiled and winked teasingly
Truth be told whether this end in a relationship or just friends that doesn't matter, the German will be OK with either, she's been having a lot of fun tonight and t having a friend to spend sometime in the human world as sort of break from the craziness from the digital world can't be bad!
"OK first, I wasn't trying to get you drunk, if you just ask me to stop instead of raising your cup for refills I would've stop" The blonde laughed "I a 100% agree with the rest tho, I'm glad she doesn't mind god only know how my grandparents will react if I tell them"
Being honest that's actually going to be hard to explain, but it's not something that has to be mention like right now, right? Better wait and see where things go before making an announcement like that, as for her father surely he wouldn't have a problem, but first gotta find him and that's a huge task on its own, the digital world is a very huge place after all
"I've seen so many movies, I am no stranger to romance nor documentaries my grandparents love those ones, but I don't know I think my favorite kind are the over the top fill to the brim with explosion action flicks, like I've seen so many deep and meaningful movies with big twist that sometimes I just want to turn my brain off and laugh at how a bald guy can jump from building to building and survive huge falls without breaking a single bone"
It's been a fun night all things consider, as the German finally finish her food and took one last sip of her drink she call for the waiter and ask for the bill.
"Mind if we get going?"

"Skip steps? So demanding." Eden chuckled lightly before nodding, "I agree though, spending some time as friends wouldn't be a bad idea, and maybe see where it goes from there."
Either way it went Eden would be fine with the outcome, after all, Leo turned out to be good company, and she wouldn't mind spending more time with the German girl in the future and with all the insanity going on right now she could definitely use the distraction- preferably one that didn't involve traveling between worlds.
"Sure you weren't...so mean taking advantage of my trusting nature like that!" She crossed her arms a bit before laughing along with the blonde. "I bet you do, but yeah my parents are pretty open with stuff like that, more my mom but dad just doesn't care so long as I'm happy...I'd imagine your grandparents are pretty old-fashioned? At least most are anyway."
While a somewhat important conversation, it wasn't one that needed to happen right away seeing as they were just friends for the time being, and it was too soon to jump into anything serious, so she let the conversation trail off into idle territory, and it seemed like they both had things to work on first before they could even consider a relationship which of course was fine by Eden, seeing as she still needed to figure out this whole spirit situation first.
"Sounds like you're a big movie fan, you'll have to give me a few recommendations sometime, I can see why those tend to be more engaging than the deep psychological movies are enough to put you to sleep so I wouldn't sweat it too much. Maybe we can watch a few of your favorites sometime? I usually read so watching a movie would be a nice way to relax instead."
"Not at all, I'd say it's been a pretty long night," After the waiter arrived with their bill, the pair left the restaurant, the bill paid and still laughing amongst themselves as they made their way towards the door.
The two of them stood talking a bit longer outside, while Eden tried to shake the remaining effects of wine from her head. Before heading their separate ways, after exchanging numbers Eden had finally mustered up the courage to give the German girl a light peck on the cheek before saying goodnight as she turned to head in the direction of her home.
with a nice evening now coming to a peaceful and satisfying end.
