Almost as black as the night itself, she ran, unheard and unseen through the thick mess of undergrowth. The thick canopy overheard guarding the strange creature against sight as she ran, only pausing to peer down at the device which sat between the gloved paws. Upon the tiny screen, a single light glistened upon a map. A single white dot descending down from the heavens, or so it seemed. It was difficult to tell, the device was so primitive. Although, it proved to be their only chance. She couldn’t let the opportunity pass without interference. Once more, the strange creature clutched onto the device and furiously run in the direction to which it pointed, ready to intercept. Through a gap between the thickest, oldest and most gnarled of trees which littered this ancient site, their roots jutting from the undergrowth like poised snakes, ready to strike. She could see it. A strange, and equally as ancient-looking manor house. Even from a distance, it was clear the house was in disrepair and was collapsing in upon itself. The strange creature paused, looking upon the house. Musing to herself, “Why would the device send me here. What kind of emergence point is this.”The ancient manor, once grand, stood oddly between the trees – mostly blocked from sight and from mind. The four grand stain-glass windows were shattered and missing panes, the roof was missing tiles in places and most notably, had a large hole in the roof where a chimney would have once stood. Even the double doors, made from a polished and varnished oak, hung limply from the frame. If this house stood in the real world, it’d be quite a tourist attraction. However, in this world, it was just another odd thing betwixt other odd out of place attractions. The strange creature approached, finally moving out from the shadow casting canopy. The black cat stood, enveloped by the moonlight and looking up, not at the strange house but the sky. Between the moon and the stars, something else had opened up in the digital sky. Like someone had reached up into the sky and tore it open – a gap between worlds. As soon as the tear appeared, it stitched itself closed again and then vanished. Leaving behind just a single, white, shimmering star flickering in the sky. Souji Himura

“ugh I can’t let you convince me to collect fruit with you Souji, I am way too good for this. I should not be here in this dinky forest its so disgusting, we better hurry up cut those branches faster boy.” Isabella the tinkermon said, clearly disgusted by the forest she found herself in. not wanting to get her hands dirty for the sake of something so trivial like gathering fruit. So she let Souji who was at this point a petermon using his knife to cut any branch that had fruit in it, and storing it in his giant brown bag that he carried with his left hand, the boy turned towards Isabella with a wry smile.
“ I am sorry about this Isabella but I wanted to do something instead of sitting and waiting, we have not getting any clue on where we can go to get more of my spirit’s memories back, so we had no other option really. So I am sorry but can you please bare with me ?” the boy begged his friend to cease her complaining and help him with this, because despite not looking strong or important Bella can easily prove to be helpful with her unique set of skills.
“ ugh fine, just if we find a place to relax in we go there immediately got it ? I need a five minute break.” Souji nodded and agreed to her condition, not that it was too bad anyway. So the two continued to gather some fruit to bring back to base, and maybe have Souji use it to cook something like pie or whatever the hell they want. But as the two continued they will eventually find a giant house, and look at each other, it was the first place the two found where they can maybe take it easy and relax. But it does look kinda creepy.
“ hey Bella should we go there and relax ? or do we find someplace else ?” the boy asked he will follow whatever she says.
“ man I am tired so we should head there anyways, if something bad happens we both can probably escape what with our speed and ability to fly, anyways hurry up, if there is some payment to pay you will do it.” The tinkermon said as she flew ahead of the boy who followed along dragging the bag of fruit with him, they both headed to the empty looking house.

The shimmering white star flickered brightly for a moment and then faded back into the inky blackness. The night sky returned to ‘the usual’ horizon of flickering digital information. The strange, gaping opening cut roughly in the sky stitched back up and sealed itself. Before, vanishing into the inky darkness. That strange flickering star was falling through the sky, down, down into the world below. Fortunately for Anna, her fall would be a soft one. Albeit, a close call.
She fell towards the equally strange manor house, like a shooting star. Before falling through the derelict hole in the roof, where the grand chimney had once stood. The blond haired girl was caught by a pile of sheets which lay upon the wooden slats which lay across the attic. Anna sat up slowly, turning her head from left to right. Her eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness. The only light coming in from the full moon through the opening in the roof. “Wait, what? What’s happening.” She raised a hand and moved it in front of her eyes. Everything felt like it was going in slow motion, somehow. An unusual feeling. Of course, no-one answered her question.
Until. A voice came out of the darkness. A low, spooky drawl saying three words. “Trick-or-treat.” Anna felt all the hairs stand up on the back of her neck. Her face turned as ghostly white as the ‘sheets’ she had landed on. They were not sheets at all but. “Ghosts! Ghoooooosts,” Anna screamed at the top of her voice, before rolling backwards and down the narrow set of stairs which led to the main house. “O-ouch. That really hurt,” she said, rubbing the back of her head which had slammed into several of the steps. “I-I-I really can’t stand ghosts,” Anna said, in a voice which echoed through the house. It was quite true, ever since she was a little kid – she had hated all of that horror nonsense; ghost stories, scary movies and even Halloween were terrifying to Anna. “I must have been… seeing things,” Anna said to herself, trying to stand up but finding her legs were shaking so hard, it was a struggle.
Then – the white shapes appeared again, appearing through the walls. They were like sheets except exceedingly frayed and dirty. Large, spherical black eyes peered out from within the white body. “Trick-or-treaaaaat!” The ghosts cried, approaching Anna who was too frightened to even scream.

Inside the big empty house, both Souji and Isabella were a little bit nervous and scared. and after a couple of minutes roaming the entire house and finding no human or digimon was a little bit discouraging. So the two looked at each other and nodded at each other indicating that the two of them were in agreement that they should really get the hell out of here. and as the two were almost ready to leave the house they heard a scream in the house and that made the two give each other a quick glance and decide to quickly head towards the the voice, while the Tinkermon flew up ahead first and Souji who is a petermon at this time decided to let the bag of fruit go and rush ahead to catch up with with Isabella.
And when the two finally saw what is going on with the blonde girl and the ghost (?) digimon, Souji decided to interfere and break the situation. "hey you there, stop bothering that lady and take a step back. I am sure we can talk to an agreement. so we just need to calm down." The Petermon said as he wanted to portray himself as someone with great confidence and strength, the young boy wanted to be more confident and strong and heroic, so what is the best way to do that other than start by pretending.
But the fairy was more concerned about making the young girl feel more calm around them. "hey you there young girl, stay calm okay ? I assure you we come here in peace so just sit tight and we help you, cause you seem a bit confused aren't you ?" Isabella asked as she remembered the time Souji was also very new to the digital world and he was pretty scared and luckily he had a couple of humans to help him with everything.

By the point of the newcomer's arrivals, Anna had fallen into a ball. Hands over her head and visibly shaking with fright. “Just leave me alone, j-just leave me.” She whimpered, feebly and rather pathetically. She barely even noticed the two strangers who entered the scene until the strong voice spoke and warned the ghost to stop bothering Anna. The other, whom Anna couldn’t yet see because her eyes were covered tight, spoke directly to Anna instead. “I don’t even know where I am, I just fell from the sky and landed here.”
The Bakemon turned to look at the stranger, long sharp teeth bared from within the white sheet body. Arms held high, in an attempt of spookiness. For a second it looked in silence and then it opened its mouth wide and said, in a loud phantasmal, whispering voice that seemed to cut through her like a knife. “Leave heeeere and never return! LEAVE! LEAVE HERE!” With this said, it fell back – disappearing through the wall behind them, leaving no trace behind, except a slight misty shadow on the peeling wallpaper.
Anna looked up. As the ghost had vanished, the blond girl uncovered her eyes and saw the two strangers in full for the first time. One wore green, with a great cavalier style hat upon his head. He looked a little serious but also quite bold. The other was far more mystical, in appearance. Fairy wings. What was this? But, so pretty. “Woah, you’re cute,” Anna said directly to the Tinkermon, unable to stop herself. Gingerly, she stood up – blinking at the pair in confusion. “Where am I? I don’t really remember what happened, just a bright light and then… a lot of falling,” she said, her British accent becoming very apparent. “Oh my name is Anna, by the way. It’s, uh, nice to meetcha!” She gave the pair a half-hearted smile.
