Luke grinned at Hikaru's reply, satisfied with that conclusion. Deep down, he hoped one day that he'd be able to connect with Flamedramon in that way. This whole ceremony had been absolutely delightful, but, of course, everyone should go at it by their own paces. Owen meanwhile was thrilled and returned the additional wolf-kiss, then proceeded to dance to the first song. A little awkwardly at first, since he didn't want to hurt his husband by stepping on his feet, but eventually he got into the rhythm of it, soon figuring out where his feet would be and Hikaru's weren't. To be honest, this was his first time dancing with him, and he found it absolutely enjoyable, smiling through the whole of it. As the proceedings played out, eventually, many digimon in the band rather wanted to join in. Fortunately, Luke had prepared for this, and after a few songs, made the switch of the entertainment. Of course, live music was expected at a wedding reception, but, with those present also friends and family of the married couple, of course they'd want to have some fun too. And thus he activated the karaoke machine, allowing the rest of the band to be relieved of their duty. "Hah! I'll go first!" Bellamy immediately claimed the karaoke machine, beginning to sing a song he totally intended to the whole time. "You've been such a good friend I've known you since I don't know when We've got a lot of friends, But they come and go Even though we've never said it, There's something that the two of us both know""Heh, Bells singing pokemon songs, totally called it" Owen chuckled to Hikaru, happy to continue dancing to this song, with the lyrics being, in his opinion, delightfully appropriate. "Together, forever no matter how long From now, until the end of time We'll be together, and you can be sure That forever and a day That's how long we'll stay Together and forever more~"Now relieved from their musical duties, Bezil and Logan turned their attention to their newly met sisters. Bezil turned to Jill first. "It seemed sad on paper, but, as far as we figured out, when a Trailmon reached the end of their lives, it's the duty of other Trailmon to carry their last carriages to a place where they'll be safely out of the way." the Gumdramon said. "I asked at the Village of Beginnings what happened to them, and the Swanmon told me that the Trailmon are reborn as any other digimon, usually as Hagurumon. So, hopefully they'll be able to haul their own carriages like before."Meanwhile, once Logan stopped playing his bagpipes, he was a little unsure of how to continue. It was Tadao that approached him here. "Why not dance with one of your sisters? You haven't met them yet, right?" he asked him. Logan was about to object, but, as a blush rose on his face, he realized that was probably a nice thing to do for his newly met family. He took a few deep breaths to compose himself, then approached Bu and Fuu, the Logamon smiling at them. "Hiya, Bu, Fuu... Would one of you like to join me in dancing?" he asked, a little awkwardly, hoping he wasn't being too weird about this.

"Yeah, that's basically what it came down to. They go to the graveyard, and reincarnate. Though, I...do wonder if they turn into the same type of Trailmon. Just younger. Orrrr...different types. How do those get picked out, anyways?" Fuu put a claw to her chin in thought, before she fancied another sip of her wine.
It was a questionably regal gesture. The twins both turned their attention to Logan, with Fuu about to speak before Bu cut her off once more. "Well! I'd be happy to, if only to spare Fuu's dignity. Imagine the frost queen not knowing how to dance!" The Ryudamon snickered and chortled to herself as she hopped off her chair. "...Though, do -you- know how to dance, Logan? 'Cause I'm pretty sure I can teach you really quick. It's not that hard, honest!"

Hikaru understood that it's hard to guide someone to dance steps are hard, but Owen is doing great. He was awkward at first, but Hikaru trusted him. Soon enough he found out that him trusting his husband isn't a wrong move. Look at him go, already an experienced lead, heh. Hikaru gave him a lick on the cheek, then proceeded to dance more. Bells is not bad too with his choice of song.
"Who want to sing next I wonder~?" Hikaru mused out loud. "Heeey, anyone wanna siiing?"
As usual, there are some teasing and goading going on, especially on the side of Yuuki and his friends. There are those who said "sing, sing", another said "oh c'mon, you're better!" and the merry, joking tone keep passed between each person... until suddenly Koharu grabbed the mic and sings...
Enka?
"OI, THIS IS MARRIAGE, NOT A NEW YEAR!!" Kon-chan retorted as usual
Laughter rose from the friends. The girl herself enjoyed the reaction that she created and resumed the singing anyway. More laughter resounded, and it also came from Hikaru himself. He guess he better get ready to sing something special, huh?
Jill looked a bit demure, but she understood how it worked. "Hmm, even so, that looked a bit terrifying... to die on the roadside like that... honestly, they're doing a lot of favor for other Digimons, they they die in such way... it's honestly a great pity. Good question though, I guess it's similar to any sort of Digimons... but there are a lot of Trailmon subspecieses, huh... that indeed makes me wonder..."

Logan was a little taken aback when his sister Bu quickly accepted the offer of a dance. The Logamon realized he hadn't done anything like this before in his life, but, when Bu offered to teach him, he smiled a little. "Well... if you're willing to teach me, sister, I'd be glad to learn the lesson." he replied, as Bellamy's song came to an end. He eagerly awaited the next tune that would come. Before then, Owen patiently learned how to dance with Hikaru. It was a little difficult at first, considering their long foot-claws, but, either it was the melding of their skills or some other miracle by their marriage that neither of them injured each other with their learning to dance. And by the end of it, Owen thought he rather enjoyed the whole thing. Then came the decision on what to play next. Luke and Bellamy promptly began to sing one of their favourites, We Built This City, thinking it apt for the new city of Ys. Owen, delighted danced a more envigorated dance with his husband to the tune. Thinking on Jill's thoughts, Bezil rubbed his chin. "Well, maybe we could launch an expedition sometime maybe?" he suggested. "Tell some Trailmon volunteers to arrive on site and salvage what they can, learn what happened otherwise maybe?"With that thought made, Bezil found that he didn't really want to talk about dead digimon anymore, especially on such an occasion. Instead, he twirled in a flourish, then offered his paw to Jill. "I'd like to dance with you, Jill-Chan" the Gumdramon said, wanting to bond with his little sister for the first time.

"Well, yeah! Mister Elecmon said that the key to making great impressions on someone is to know things like this. I'm not the smartest gal on the block, but if I can learn how to dance, anyone can." Bu replied right back to Logan, who seemed genuinely taken aback at her acceptance.
As the next songs began to play, and in an extremely uncharacteristic display of patience that was obviously learned, Bu would teach Logan how to dance. Step by step, as well as both sides of the two-person dance. Oh, and the Logamon also learned what the hell a tango was. That'll probably help in the future, right? Bu seemed to be having fun, too!
Fuu, meanwhile sighed. "Yes, I...would not wish to go that way. Which is why the graveyard exists. That's a good idea for an expedition, though. If anyone would know best about this? It's the Trailmon themselves." The Dorumon then snickered. "If you need any tips, just call for Bu." She told Bezil and Jill, should they actually go dance!

"Perhaps," the Strabimon answered, shrugging "we could do that, but only after we restore this city to some certain degree. It'll be interesting, but for the meantime we have to consider the budget and everything... especially manpower. We really need more manpower..." noticing her faux pas for talking about job in her parents' marriage day, Jill facepalmed and leaned her head back before gulping the rest of her wine. "...I'm not drunk enough I think, to think that I still think about job at time like this." To her surprise, her brother wanted to dance with her? "...Normally I'd tell people to not call me like that, but... you're my older brother so I guess that's fine. Well, I guess a dance would do great. I expect a good lead, brother." Speaking of which, when Bells and Luke done with their song, Hikaru looked at Yuuki, then smirked. Knowing what his partner wanted, he decided to sing... with a rather heavy heart. To his surprise, Freya the Floramon walked to the stage and took another mic. "Well, then... what do you want to sing?" Freya asked. "Well how about..." Like the WindIt's another of Hikaru's favorite song, and the song is very romantic too, so he once again approached his husband for another dance. Thankfully, it's a soft song.

Logan was very grateful to Bu as she taught him how to move in a dance. The first thing he learned was to always pay attention to his partner, and simply move in reaction to them. This was something of a quick and painful lesson for him as a digimon, given that both of them had sharp claws on their feet. But probably because of that, it educated the Logamon quickly about how to dance. Eventually, he got the hang of it. And by the second half of the song, he was thoroughly enjoying the experience. Not only was he dancing for the first time in his life, but, he also felt like he was bonding with his little sister, that he had never met before today. And the more time he spent with her, the more closer he felt. She had the same eyes as his father, she was born from the same love that had made him come into existence. And them learning how to dance together, it felt truly wonderful. Bezil meanwhile blushed a little when Jill mentioned she didn't normally let others call her that. "Ah... sorry. If I can ask, is there a way that you'd like me to name you?" he asked, remembering to be polite. He'd only name Jill in a way that she was happy with after all. As Luke and Bellamy finished, the next song was a much softer one. Owen loved it, and began a gentle dance with his husband, appreciating every moment. Bezil then attempted to try the same with Jill, but he wasn't very skilled with dancing himself, and was a little clumsy at the start, but, gradually got better as the song continued. Even though Jill was taller than him, Bezil was grateful she had agreed to this. He felt that he learned far more about her from actions rather than words. And as a result, he felt familiarity and admiration for her. As the song ended, Owen, Logan and Bezil felt very happy. In the silence that followed that song, those responsible for the music thought about what to play next. Luke and Bellamy were in no doubt as they selected the next track. Yes, it was something of a difficult song to dance to, but, they knew their friends would love it. And so they selected the song, Hirari , and played it, both of them singing at their best. "Ohh... holy cripes they remembered..." Owen whispered, and almost cried as the memories rushed forward in his mind. If their sisters wished to continue, Logan and Bezil would offer to continue dancing with them for this song too.

One thing was incredibly clear this evening, and that was that there was a lot of love to go around between this enormous family. Bonds to be forged via being taught how to dance, vows to make...And dances to teach. Bu was having a whale of a time instructing Logan in how to dance--she was being uncharacteristically patient with missteps and all. In a way? One could really call her her fathers' daughter.
And they all danced for this song, too. Fuu didn't really possess a partner, nor did she need one. She was perfectly fine with hanging back for a while--especially since she felt as though she had two left feet. She just needed to dwell upon the most important subject of all.
Trains.

"Pffft, don't mind that," Jill answered. "I guess you being my big brother made it OK to call me like that, but I honestly prefer being called with just my name," Jill answered. To her surprise, the song changed into a faster pace one. She grinned and raised an eyebrow like challenging Bezil to dance faster.
Of course Hikaru also would answer that invitation with his own way. Dancing to that is hard, but he loves good workout here and there. The Dorumon's tail swished as he moves his legs as fast as he was in battle, or even faster even? Twist, spin, it all felt so fast. It's not quite one for romantic night, but this was THEIR song. He played it back when Owen thought he was some performer, and honestly? He doesn't mind replaying that again. As he danced, he also blew his bagpipe following the melody.

As the song came to a close, time seemed to fly as more songs were played over the evening. The wedding reception was probably the best night of Owen's life. Being here, surrounded by all his family, and now married to his beloved husband. In a way, he wished it would never end, but alas, eventually, after one last dance, one last snack, one last song, everyone had expended their energy, and the night had to come to a close.
Logan and Bezil meanwhile were delighted to have met their sisters for the first time. They were unique digimon to be sure, but there was enough familiarity in them that they quickly grew sibling bonds with them.
And as for all the other guests - Colin, Luke, Bellamy, Nik, Brad, Skye, Hickory, Jorge, they had thoroughly enjoyed themselves too, glad their friend Owen had found the love of his life, and that that digimon was Hikaru was just as wonderful.
Eventually, when the music wound down, when the cleaners started to appear, and when guests would leave, Owen turned to his husband, smiling as he nuzzled him.
"Well then..." he said, excitedly, yet a little tired. "I think the honeymoon is next, yes, darling?" he asked, his tail wagging at the prospect. The Gaomon was close to falling asleep, but he was still looking forward to the rest of his life as being married to Hikaru.

It didn't take long, but the night soon faded away into mere hours as Bu and Fuu spent the evening dancing and enjoying such a wonderful union with their newfound family. Of course, neither of the twins partook in any booze or anything. They just worked themselves into being tired with all the dancing and talking they did!
So, when the time came for everyone to go, the twins were probably the last ones to depart. They lingered at the door, looking back at their dads, before they waved a fond farewell and proceeded to go find some place to sleep the night at within Ys. Nooot...that there was a shortage of those, though.
Whatever happened next in their lives, though, they'd face as a family.
