Like a bullet, the black cat launched herself through the air. Tsuki’s darkness-empowered paw slammed right into the blackened dinosaur’s face. The attack seemed to do enough to cause the dinosaur to lose focus on Mae and to instead focus on Tsuki. It let loose a spray of flames in anger and annoyance and to spin its tail around, slamming into the few remaining trees and sending branches and leaves, everywhere.
With the opening caused by Tsuki’s attack, Mae launched her own attack. Some kind of hairball of data, or so it seemed. Right into the Tyrannomon’s chin. Whatever the attack was, it exploded like a bomb. Anna fell backwards as a result of the impact, bumping her head to a bent tree trunk. “Ouchy...” she muttered. Tsuki was thrown through the air, lifted by the explosion and pushed outwards to fall into the greenery of a fallen tree. The DarkTyrannomon fell backward, clearly crippled by the attack. It let out a piteous roar as it fell, slamming into the dirt and unable to move any further. Only able to spit out a few weakened bursts of flames as it did so.
“I-Is it over?” Anna said, picking herself up and peering around the trunk. She didn’t see Tsuki but she could see Mae. Thankfully, she seemed safe and unhurt. A great relief. “Are you okay, Mae? Also, where is Tsuki?”
“Over here.” Tsuki voice carried out from the pile of leaves in which she crawled out from and shook herself. “Damn thing. It’s going to fade away now and it deserves it. Maybe it deserves more pain.” Tsuki lifted a paw, showing the shimmering black claws. A look of pure venom on her face. “No, Tsuki. N-no more. It’s suffered enough...” Anna said, moving forward to stop her partner. But before either could act any further, the DarkTyrannomon began, as Tsuki had said, to fade. It’s body slowly dissolving into data and then vanishing upwards.
