The young man didn't mind if his guest assaulted the fridge. The house couldn't get any more dirty. He left the big, main room -which was a living room, a kitchen and a dining room, all in one like a good loft- and entered his dorm. The bathroom was attached to that piece -luckily enough. It would be rude if someone went to the toilet while having guests in the main room.
He took of his wet clothes and he got into the shower. The cold water run through his body, washing away both his dirt and his tiredness. He had never expected this travel to be like that, but he couldn't complain. If he was sane, after all -and he was starting to believe so-, this was a huge adventure. And an interesting one, since there seemed to be Digimon all over Shibuya. Fran wondered if there'd be more Digimon in Spain...
Looking inside the Fridge, Collectdramon could see all kinds of human food there, including the meat Hagu offered.
"SOME? Just with that I could eat for a whole month!" Well, maybe this was because Collectdramon was used to eat garvage. This didn`t mean, however humans had to eat the same amounts as he did. After all garvage are leftovers from the human food and other things.
The Kapurimon gigled from his words. This led Collectdramon back to his past. Sure, it had been painfull. But there was a time when Collectdramon was just like Hagu: Innocent.
This lead to, after a bite or two fom the meat, Collectdramon confessing to Kapurimon:
"You know, I was once a Kapurimon myself. Before I digivolved to Collectdramon. I even was one when I got sucked into that satellite which crashed in the human world. "
The Digimon smirked. Collectdramon was, as Hagu itself, in need of a small amount of food. This would make things a lot easier to Fran, since he didn't have to make so many trips to the shop.
In the shower, the Spanish man was still getting wet. There was no need to leave the place... And it was so nice, feeling the water flowing through his back... This reminded him of his time on the beach, swimming in the sea for hours without getting tired. He'd missed that, since in Japan the sea was too polluted to take a bath.
"You were a Kapurimon, as well? That sounds awesome! Can you turn back into it?" The small Digimon was very curious about it. Maybe its human partner would be more interested in the satellite thing, but for Hagu, finding one of its kind was a rare thing. All it had met before were different Baby and In-Training monsters. "You would get to eat metal things, like I do! They taste funny!"
The small digimon seemed to be exited about the news.
"Well, I don`t know how to turn back, even if it is possible. And sorry about it, but there is tons of metal attached to me, so eating metal would feel like eating myself. Maybe one day you`ll turn into a collectdramon too or something even better than that! Who knows, maybe you`ll get to champion or higher before I do!"
It was good to see the smile in Hagu`s face. Making someone happy wasn`t usually something Collectdramon did, but he liked doing it.
And then, at last his tamer came ack from his bath.
"Thanks for the food! I`m gonna take a nap." Collectdramon greeted.
Fran finally turn off the water and got a towel. It was warm outside, and he felt confident enough to walk around almost naked. Collectdramon seemed like a reliable Digimon, and he had overheard Hagu talking to him. If his little buddy felt OK with the Rookie, then it was safe to relax a little. He fixed the towel around his body, covering it from his navel to his knees, and walked off his room. There he saw that their new friend had already had lunch, which was reassuring: he enjoyed being a good host.
When Collectdramon said that he would take a nap, he considered doing the same thing. After all, they had to come back to Shibuya River to check whatever Hagu had felt there. The Spanish man had to look for a job, but it wasn't a matter of life or death. Since he found housing, he had taken life in a different way: he could manage his savings without fear of going broke. And his money should last at least a couple of months. And he also had to clean up the apartment, but... Adventuring seemed much more fun.
"Hey, Hagu. Do you think we should do as our guest?" he asked his partner.
The Digimon was still thinking about becoming a Collectdramon. Sure, he looked powerful, but that's not what Hagu was looking for. It wanted to evolve into a more modest species. It didn't care about strenght, as long as it could stay with Fran. In a few days, they had become really close.
"Hagu! Come back to Earth!" Fran said, amused by his friend expression. When the Kapurimon daydreamed, his eyes went up and a smile appeared on its face.
"Uh... Sorry. What were you saying?"
"Let's go get some sleep, buddy", he repeated. "Good night, Collectdramon. Feel free to get more food over night, if you feel hungry."

The next morning, Collectdramon woke up satisfied. It had been a long time since he had a decente meal. He decided it was time to return the favor to his host.
He took the keys and opened the door. As he left, he left the keys on the ground, so that when Fran woke up he could find them.
"Where to get something a human would like and does not have?" Collectdramon pushed into his memories, trying to figure out what. After a while he recalled that the humans from the tales he heard had a passion adventure (and gogles). Since humans seemed to like trash, given the state of Fran`s house, Collectdramon decidedhe should search the trash can`s near the "sport stores" he heard so much about. He thought there was one nearby.
Hagu woke up with the sound of the main door. It checked around and he saw that Fran was still sleeping. Had Collectdramon left without telling them first? He was a lonely guy, but he had also been kind the day before. Had they done something bad to him? Was he mad at the Kapurimon for telling him to devolve?
"No way... He must have some errands to do," it calmed itself. "The best thing we can do is wait for him to come back. I'm sure that Fran can learn a lot more about Digimon if he talks to Collectdramon. I'm not as knowledgeable about ourselves."
The Kapurimon knew that Fran was an early bird, but it was just too early for him to stand up. It moved into the living room and checked that it was a real playground: there were pieces of wood everywhere, some furniture had been knocked over and there were shards of unknown things scattered over the floor.
"I wish I had hands... I could try to put some order here," it thought. "But, well... There's nothing else to do until one of them shows up."
Hagu jumped onto a sofa and started to roll all over the place, thinking that the floor was a Digital World's Volcano.
Collectdramon turned the corner, breathing rapidly. It was the second time he got kicked in the face from that guy. All he wanted to do was search a GARVAGE CAN. It wasn`t like that was his handbag or something. Was it?
It didn`t matter. Collectdramon moved on trying to find something to present to Fran. The more he ran, the more he thought it was pointless. How could he know what Fran liked?
And then, as if for a miracle something showed up. Something simple, yet usefull enought. In the shelf of the store, Collectdramon could see the name of the object: "folding grill". They cooked in a funny way, these humans. And he guessed this thing would do just fine as a gift, despite a bit of damage.
Returning to Fran`s apartment he knocked on the door. When the human opened, lloking tired, Collectdramon said:
"Well, this weird thing is for you, for having been so nice as to host me in your house this evening (first night I slept decently in a while)." He pointed at the "folding grill" behind him and turned to Hagu, and showing a few screws on on his hand "and this is for you, I found them while searching for a present. You have been frendly to me too. Besides I should apologize for my behaviour when we met."
Fran woke up with the sound of someone knocking at his door.
"Who could it be?", he thought. "Things like these should be forbidden..."
He had had a bad night. He couldn't get to sleep, thinking about Collectdramon and his weird story about a satellite. And there it was Hagu's idea of exploring Shibuya River, which they should do today. Not to say that... He was talking about doing things with Digimon! With Monsters! Not even a week had gone by since he met his partner -as a DigiEgg.
The human put on some clothes and went quickly, though sleepy, towards the front door. He took a glimpse of Hagu rolling over the sofa, and he couldn't help it. Fran smiled as he opened the door, seeing Collectdramon at the other side with a terrifying smile -not that it was his intention to scare the Spanish man. On his hands was a kind of a table made of iron bars. It remember him of a barbecue, but portable.
When the Rookie explained what it was, Fran looked at him with fondness. Hagu had showed up as well, and stared at its gift with hungry.
"Come in, buddy", Fran said. "I'm glad that you made it back without any problem. We'll cook something on that grill right now!"
He didn't add that catchphrase. The one that tries to apologize for being given a gift. "Oh, thank you, you didn't have to". It was a really fake thing to say, and the Spanish man didn't like doing so.
Collectdramon loved the "folding grill". He even liked more what was cooked on it, of course. He still felt a bit guilty about his apologizing and thanking gift be straight away shared with him, but he didn`t complain. Hagu seemed to be enjoying the porks. Collectdramon smilled once more, still finding it a bit weird (it was not something he used to do, specially not this often). Then he looked at Fran again. Despite the fact that he was trying to seem happy about this whole thing he looked very confused and tired. Perhaps Collectdramon`s presence had made him afraid to sleep, due to his previous savage behaviour? He had to know.
"Hey, Fran" He said "You`re looking a bit tired. Are you sure you slept well? Did I do something wrong? Please, be honest. Sleepy people are terrible liers."
Hagu was amused with the party. It even tried to eat some of the meat, but it didn't like it. Its digestive system wasn't ready to process that food, so it stuck with its screws and nuts. Still, the situation pleased it. The Kapurimon felt at home, and it was glad that they had made a new friend.
The human was, however, tired. He had made an effort not to show it so the other two didn't worry about him, but Collectdramon seemed to be very sharp.
"Oh... This... It's been a stressful time for me. You know, I used to live in another place. A place far, far away from here. But things happened, and I came to Japan. I didn't even unpack my things in a hotel room when I met Hagu, and I acknowledged Digimon existence. And at nights I think about all of this, and about what's to come", he explained. "Oh, yes, and now there's this deal with some Digimon attacking us, which I don't really understand."
"Yep!" exclaimed Hagu. "It's nice to see that not all lonely Digimon are as agressive as that Dorumon!"
Collectdramon knew that digimon were something new to many humans, including Fran, but he didn`t realize just how much. Maybe I can try to bring in some info. Afterall, I have travelled a lot in the digital world before I came here, maybe I can try to explain something to him.
"Agressivety is actually a common trait to many digimon, specially vírus type digimon. In the digital world, the normal way to digivolve is hunt another digimon`s data. This means that we digimon had to have some form of defense to protect ourselfs from such digimon or (if we were those digimon) we would have to have something to hunt with. Over time we got more agressive to deal with such and other threats. Is there any other question you have?"
Fran thought about what Collectdramon said. It seemed a logical thing that in a feral world you had either to kill or be killed, and since Digimon were not natural to this human world, their reactions were almost normal. But then, there were newborn Digimon. They had never been to the Digital World, so their behaviour would be even closer to that of humans'. Wouldn't it?
"Hmmm OK, I get that", the young man replied. "But there's one thing I don't get: how come that you guys come to this world? And why Japan, from all places in the world?"
Hagu looked like it wanted to say something, but it bit its tongue. Not that it could say anything new: it had explained all it knew, and that wasn't much. Being an egg, the In-Training didn't remember anything from the Digital World. All it knew, it was because it was inside its own code as some info or introduction that was part of every Digital creature.
Collectdramon, looked down, embarassed. Fran had just asked him two of greatest question Collectdramon himself had since he arrived at the human world. And did it just after Collectdramon promissed to give him some answers. Wanting them himself, he knew the importance they had. Not knowing was a terrible thing indeed. Still, he tried to at least say something, since he didn`t have the answer:
"Well, I...I...I don`t know really. But we digimon don`t just show up in Japan, thought it is much more frequente to do so. Sometimes we show up in other places from the human world, like I did. Remember I told you I fel from a satellite? Well, it crashed in Europe. I`m really sorry for not being able to answer you question properly."
"Don't worry about it", said Fran with a smile. "It's not like my life depends on knowing about your origin... Although I'd like to travel there sometime."
The human realized then that if both Digimon were born there, they shouldn't know a thing about their original world. He'd have to ask some creature that had already lived in the Digital World, and then travel into the Human World. But where could he find such a Digimon? He took his last bite of meat and stared at Hagu, who had already finished eating. He wanted to ask Collectdramon about that satellite incident he kept talking about, but he didn't find the courage to do so. It was his partner who broke the silence.
"Hey", said the small machine. "Do you think we should explore Shibuya River? I still feel something odd there. Didn't you notice anything when you lived there? I got a weird... Sensation? Inside of me. It was as if my gears had gotten all rusty... It felt uneasy, but there was also some force calling me there."
Fran had already heard that. They were cycling near Shibuya River when Hagu fell to the ground from his head. The man rushed towards it, worried that it might be hurt, but the Digimon was fine. All it said was that there was some stronge force near them, and that they had to find it. It could become quite stubborn at times...
