"Ohh..." Persephone got a little sheepish with the mix-up; she supposed it'd make more sense that way, Pearl Digicite would probably be a pretty valuable resource, and if it were everywhere, well... She supposed things would be a little different if Pearl Digicite was more prevalent. "Still though, crystals that produce heat and light, at least seemingly on their own - and crystals that react to the bonds between a human and a digimon..." She'd begin, thoughtful. "Both seem like they'd have a bunch of applications, if we could figure them out!"
Persephone hummed, as she peered to the forge. "Maybe it's just a simpler model, then - for making simpler items compared to how the Aeterna Forge made the D-Nexus, then? Or maybe even a prototype," She would wonder out loud, as she slowly - carefully - slid down from Hikaru's back. She'd grunt faintly as she settled on the ground, her joints feeling a bit stiff - but she would walk over to the forge to get a closer look at it, and to carefully brush off the dust with her soft and fluffy tail as she listened to Hikaru talk about how they found the Aeterna Forge, and activated it.
"I wonder what would happen, then, if you brought Yuuki down here for the both of you to touch this mini-forge together." She'd ponder, looking over it now that it was at least a little cleaned off - then the unfinished weapons and armor that were around the room. "Do you think these could be used for more simpler crafting, as opposed to how we use the Aeterna Forge for more complicated things like artifacts, Dad?"

Hehe, a sheepish Perry is cute too. Hikaru wanted to give her a pat, but he doesn't think his T-rex arms would reach. Plus his claws are... for digging? He just recently know that apparently most Dorugamon have this liking to dig... uh what? He's not sure that he want to dig though. Considering the shape of his claws though, it definitely is a fit however.
"Indeed, if we can find them out. So far I only used the Pearl Digicite crystals to be purified until certain percentage, then use it as core for D-Nexus. So far we only can purify them up to 50%. Solo Digimon uses these type of crystal for D-Nexus... For the D-Nexus of the chosen humans, it tends to be higher at around 80%, but we also put in consideration that two other materials are used in its synthesis... so it's more complicated."
Hikaru lowered himself down to help Perry down easier. Turned out, they're right. Hikaru immediately found a small looking altar with cylindrical looking entry for material. It's sizable, but for adult stage it's still rather small "...Yeah, most likely just a simple model. Looking a bit less old too... If my estimation is correct, this dates to about 100 digital years worth of time, or something around that. Aeterna is like a OO-Parts compared to this... also, there are production numbers on the side, see?"
Hikaru dusted it off slightly to show the production code on the side.
"....Athanor it said."
Touching it together? "Want me to call him?" he asked. "I don't think it will work, but it worth the try."
On the comment about if it made simpler stuff, Hikaru definitely agreed. "Wanna check the weapons and armors? We probably can guess the artifact grade from there..."

Persephone hummed, thinking it all over. Pearl Digicite... What could higher levels of purity do, in use? What could they do to make higher-purity digicite? It made sense for tamers and so on to get higher purity digicite in their D-Nexuses; they needed the digivice functions more, whereas solo digimon like her only really needed things like the mapping function, communication, and the such. Though, it also made her wonder, were digivices the only use for Pearl Digicite? What were they made from now? It took her a moment to realize that she wasn't asking these out loud - these could be things she could be asking Hikaru himself, and figuring out! And so, she'd glance to him with bright, inquisitive eyes - asking "What materials are in digivices now, nowadays - if Pearl Digicite was used for more ancient or prototype varieties of digivices? What might a digivice do, if we were able to use purer Digicite in them?"
Persephone would eyeball the input portion to the altar, curiously sniffing it - even if the mask would dampen her sense of smell, and even if it was likely any scents here would've long since faded, she figured that she might as well check. One never knew when they'd pick up something of interest. Though her eyes would be glued to the altar-forge, looking it over from every which way to get a better look at it, her ears being pricked in Hikaru's direction would be a clear sign that she was listening to her father as well. 100 Digital Years... Perhaps not a lot of time from the perspective of a human, but that was a good few generations for her.
And indeed, at Hikaru's direction, she'd glance to the side of the altar - to peer at the production code. "... Athanor..." She'd breath to herself, thinking it over to try and see if she could recall anything that used such a name, though... No, it didn't ring a bell.
Instead, she'd glance over to Hikaru at the suggestions of calling Yuuki and checking out the weapons and armors - and she'd nod. "It's worth a shot; we'll never know til we try! And we can check the weapons and armors out while we wait for Yuuki!" Persephone chirped, already going over to check out the armor and weapons; her tail swishing with excitement. Her curiosity was being endlessly piqued - so many things she should try and figure out sometime! "What do you think these are made of, Dad?" She'd ask, gesturing to the weapons and armor - they were so old, how durable would they even be anymore? - adding "Is it anything special that we could use?"

"Like I said, I have no idea," Hikaru answered. "To be honest? Opening one would be probably what someone do, but I don't want to risk it in any way. After all, what if it jeopardizes the connection between me and Yuuki? The best case is to find a Digivice of a dead human... but as you know that sounded unethical. It's essentially a non-consented autopsy. We're pretty much tinkering with someone's device, someone's who are already dead. I'd rather not to be honest. Another way is to find someone who no longer want to be partnered anymore, then ask them to hand it over to us. But that's even rarer."
The scent inside are mostly metallic. There are strangely no smell of rust, but the smell of iron and salt are obvious. Which honestly are a bit strange. But even then, Hikaru is more interested on the name.
"Athanor are what the forges are called in Alchemy. It's said to be able to maintain heat for a long periods of time. Other than that it's unclear what it's shaped like. I guess based on that, this Athanor is shaped like this."
And soon Hikaru calls over Yuuki. It was answered by the sleepy voice of the human. "...Yeah, what? Is this emergency?"
"Nah, not really. We found that the door is unlocked and found a forge down here. Would you like to come?"
"Give me twenty minutes and a coffee..."
"...So he'll come, but won't be for a while. We can examine more before he get here."
What it's made of? Nice question.
"...These weapons are probably made of the legendary damascus steel, or so I thought but... it's just damascus patterned steel. It's not a real damascus sadly. But... check this out." Hikaru knocks it a bit. Even though it's knocked, it stayed in one piece. "The production date in the inner collar states that it's made around two hundred years ago... but it's not brittle at all... quite amazing huh? It still can't defend against Digimon attacks though."

Persephone hummed, frowning. It sounded like it'd be difficult - if not impossible - to find someone who was willing to hand over their digivice, to study. Which, it made sense; the digivice, to her understanding, was a very important symbol to the bond between a digimon and human - to let someone mess with it could risk a whole lot of things, and could mean a whole lot of things. But at the same time, if they could just figure out how one worked, what it was made of, well... Who knew what they might learn from it? Persephone was quick to move on from that line of thought, though; it wasn't something she needed to know now now now - just something that was curious, albeit probably more trouble than it's worth for the time being given the circumstances surrounding digivices.
Instead, she paid more attention to the forges, noting the metallic scent of iron and the smell of salt... She'd tilt her head a bit - pondering the smells for a second - before turning her attention to Hikaru as he explained the meaning behind the name Athanor. If this is meant to be a forge that can maintain heat for a long period of time, then... "How do you think someone would heat up a forge like this in the first place?" Persephone would begin looking around the forge to see where a heat source may be - or where they might've put fuel to the forge. All the while though, she'd glance over to Hikaru, asking "I'm not the only one who smells salt and iron on the forge, right?" Maybe the scents were a hint?
As she sniffed and searched around the forge though, she'd listen as Hikaru called up Yuuki - even if she could only hear Hikaru's side of the brief conversation. At Hikaru's mention of Yuuki being awhile though, Persephone couldn't help but giggle a bit. "Groggy?" She'd ask with a slightly sheepish smile - she didn't want to trouble Yuuki too much! - adding "I'll get him something later to make up for making him come down here, if nothing comes of this." Maybe Yuuki would be interested in that new tea plant she was growing, that Baldur had picked up the seeds for some time ago... Hmm...
Well, nonetheless, she'd soon have her attention on the weapons and armor, and what Hikaru supposed they were made of - damascus patterned steel. "Ooohh..." She'd eyeball the objects - picking up one of the weapons and carefully examining it. Her ears would prick as Hikaru knocked on one of the pieces of armor, and she would glance over to him to regard it - before something occurred to her. "... If it's probably not able to hold up against a digimon's attacks though, then what was it made for?" She'd ask. "I know that there's evidence that humans may have lived here in Ys before - and these probably were made for those humans, but... Wouldn't they have tried to make armor that would hold up a bit better, if it was for use in the digital world?"

"Usually Digital stuff are not 1:1 with their original inspiration," Hikaru answered. "I don't think this is a furnace per se... but if it is, perhaps..." Hikaru glanced at one side of the room, where the orange warmth crystals apparently grew so huge that it pretty much covered that corner with crystalline structure. "...That might be a clue. Shall we try it?"
Perry asked if she's the only one who smelled salt and iron. "No, you're not. I feel like... this tube structure is where you put the material in... and this under here..." Hikaru tapped his paw on the small pedestal under it "is where the energy came from... Mmmm..."
He saw a blackboard. Perfect. Hikaru immediately degenerated into Dorumon again and flapped his wings to fly. He took out a chalk and began drawing a diagram. First is obviously the Aeterna Forge in all its glory, a structure like altar with rings encircling it. Meanwhile, he draws Athanor, which looked like a microscope, except the lens part are instead tube to insert the material, and the place where they put the petri dish is a lens-like structure that seem a bit mysterious at the moment.
"...In case of Aeterna Forge, the energy immediately infused to the material. The rings that you see helps your head imagine what form should be given to the artifact. Your head is cleared of unnecessary image... and then, the moment it fused, it becomes the artifact of your desire. Its power usually random at first, but it usually follows your wish. Without doubt, it's a powerful artifact, I feel it's stronger than even legendary artifact."
then he pointed at Athanor. "...We know Athanor is small... and we have no exact idea how it works. Hell, it's probably only wide enough to churn out sword. How can it churn out armor like that? Where are the designing input? Is it random? There are too many things that we have no idea of, but... in short! It's a knock off Aeterna Forge!"
"So here you are."
Yuuki entered the room with a mug of coffee in hand. He let his hair down, probably not enough time to tie it up. He also still in his fluffy slippers and a warm robe... It's a rare sight, usually because the leader is mostly well dressed.
"Hey Perry," he ruffled the smaller Dorumon's head gently.
"And our specialist is here! Perry had a questi--"
"I heard. Most likely these are test subjects. To fully know how strong it is we first have to attack it. Or we can do better..." Yuuki whipped out his D-Nexus and point it at the armor. "...It says that it softens elemental attacks by 50%. It's quite strong in my opinion, but... This is probably brittle against physical attacks."

Persephone would follow Hikaru's gaze to the warmth crystals that more or less had made the corner of the room their own - humming a bit in thought at the question he posed of trying them out with the Athanor forge. Those seem like they could make a reasonable fuel source - they seemed to produce heat and light almost seemingly completely on their own, after all. After a second, she'd nod, smiling to him - even if the dust mask hid it a bit. "Sure, why not?"
She would watch as Hikaru would make for the blackboard to begin drawing out some diagrams - ears twitching a little as she eyeballed the Aeterna Forge and the Athanor Forge curiously. She was quite familiar with the Aeterna Forge - she sometimes liked watching people use it, on a rare occasion - and the Athanor Forge, of course, they had been just examining. But it nonetheless really put into perspective, how different the two forges were, with the two diagrams in question. Hearing Hikaru talk about it all was just as interesting, as well - and it made her ponder as she stared at the diagram of the Athanor.
"... Maybe this bit here, is related to the designing?" Persephone suggested, gesturing to the lens. It was the only part they hadn't quite figured out yet, between the space below - where the lamp would be on a normal microscope likely being where the power source was, and the tube above likely being for material input. "That, or it has to do with the output in some way..." She'd tilt her head, humming a bit to herself. Figuring out new artifacts and whatnot was hard; at least, unless they could figure out some way to test it!
Nonetheless, the little Dorumon would perk up visibly at hearing, and seeing, Yuuki's entrance. She couldn't help a soft lighthearted giggle at the slippers and robe - not so much because they were unusual, but more that she was more used to Yuuki being generally dressed up as you'd expect the leader of KIZNA to dress. She'd nonetheless press her head against his hand in an affectionate fashion and wag her tail as the fur atop was ruffled, "Morning, Yuuki!" She'd chirp in response to him - smiling happily from behind the mask. "I hope asking you down here wasn't too much trouble," She'd begin - the smile growing a bit sheepish at the idea that she might've troubled him - adding "I'd be happy to share this new variety of tea that I've been growing, to make up for it, if you'd like - it's finally getting it where I can harvest some leaves from it,"
As far as the armor went though, Persephone would tilt her head curiously as Yuuki scanned it, and described the capabilities of the armor. So it did good against, for example, a fireball or fire breath - just not so much a punch or clawstrike? "Hmmm..." Persephone hummed and tilted her head thoughtfully. "It's probably still quite useful, even if it's a bit situational! Is there any way we could replicate or refine this, for use for us digimon, or at least for you humans?" She'd ask - musing out loud "I imagine something like this could be great for protecting yourself while going out adventuring - even if it wouldn't hold up to a direct physical strike, if it was like... An energy surprise attack from afar, it could save lives!" Of course, that was situational to the max... but Persephone did believe there could be some use to something like this - even if it doesn't help in every situation!

Hikaru approached the crystal and snapped one of its longest 'branch'. He brought it back to the table to lay it down temporarily. At the moment he still have no idea how to operate this, but honestly? He guess it worth the try. He took a recorder and camera out of his kilt.
"...Perry, do you want to recite the date and the time, also what we're doing? Like.... Let's say, today is Day xx, month yy, year zzzz, 4:35 PM, we're testing Athanor to fire it up." Hikaru asked. He obviously first set the camera on a tripod and pointed it at the object.
"....Ready?"
He clicked record. If Perry doesn't talk, then he'll do the talking. But he hope she spoke, because hey, this is interesting. Her name will be etched in history as one who rediscovered this Athanor. It would be something like adventure came true, right? Anyway, Hikaru put the crystal on the bottom of the cylinder. Suddenly, the crystal shone brightly and released heat stronger than before. Thankfully Hikaru was unharmed, but he had to shook his paw from the pain.
"Owww... darn, that hurts... but even so, there are no dial..."
Yes, there are nothing to change the heat. Instead, the tube that looked like plain before suddenly shone with orange circuit pattern.
"...Hmmm, the lens down here as a designing? Then can you check if there is any blueprint in this place? Try that cupboard over there. Make sure your mask secured, dear."
Just as precaution, Hikaru renewed his healing on Perry.
Thankfully with Yuuki here, they're more ready to discover stuff. "No, it's OK. I just pulled all nighter dealing with some of our project documents. New teas would be welcome, thank you. If you don't mind, I'd like ask special blend that can help with sleeping. I'm kind of insomnic lately too. I see that you have fired up the device, hmmm..."
"Don't touch the crystal, by the way, mate."
"It's scalding hot, yes, hotter than usual... It sounds like this base here..." Yuuki tapped on the plate "is drawing power from the crystal. Something on it triggered a reaction inside, thus releasing more heat." He took a picture and scanned it. "...They said there are no electric current or heat on the machine other than the crystal, which means the parts themselves are safe to touch... the crystal though is now scalding hot. Best not take it out without gloves."
"What about Perry's question?"
"Perhaps that's the use... but I felt these are more to... EV suit's prototype?"
"EV suit?"
"It's not good for physical attack, but for elemental attack it's good... so my theory is that it's used as form of EV suit, or its upgrade. But looks like it's a failed prototype."

Persephone would glance up as Hikaru set up the camera and tripod - her ears pricking at his question. The idea of recording this hadn't initially occured to her - but in hindsight, it seemed like it'd be a good idea. They found something new and interesting!
Still, it took her a second to speak; it seemed as though she was having a small moment of the slightest bit of stage fright, judging by the way she fidgeted a hair, and her tail puffed up slightly. But once she managed to calm the nervous beating of her core and find her words, she'd inhale deeply, and would lift her head in an attempt of confidence. "Today is Day XX, Month YY, and Year ZZZZ, at 4:35 PM. We've discovered the Athanor not too long ago, and are now testing it to fire it up." She'd recite, her tailtip twitching with excitement as she did.
Persepone would watch as Hikaru placed the crystal in the section beneath the lens - before jumping in surprise as the crystal seemed to 'activate', and Hikaru reacted in pain. "Are you okay, Dad?" She'd ask him gently, almost immediately at the Dorumon's side to check up on him - sniffing him thru the mask and looking him over. It didn't seem like the fur on his claws was burnt, at least - though still, if the bright glow of the crystal was anything to say, it was likely very hot to the touch now. Glancing back to the Athanor though, she'd note that the tube was glowing with a strange, circuit-like pattern; and Persephone couldn't help but examine it closely for a second.
As Hikaru healed her once more and suggested looking around for blueprints though, Persephone would nod - adjusting her dustmask to make sure it was in order, before moving for the indicated cupboards to look thru them.
At Yuuki's response in regards to her apology and the offer of tea though, she would smile to him sympathetically - mentioning "Can do - I'll get you those blends after we're done here, Yuuki." with a sweet smile. She certainly knew how it felt to be dealing with insomnia and sleepless nights - sometimes the aches made it impossible for her to get any sleep, and so she had a personal blend that she used for whenever she's too nervous to wake up Hikaru or Haku for healing, or they were out and about.
In response to the armor being an EV suit prototype though, Persephone perked curiously - glancing over the armor. Huhm... She supposed it made sense, that a suit of armor that reduced elemental attacks would be good against extreme elements, too - but... "... It doesn't seem like it'd cover every part of your body very well, though. It seems like your extremities would still be exposed, unless the effect applies to the wearer in general." She'd comment - adding "Or at least, even if it did, wouldn't there be gaps for heat or cold to seep in? Though then again..." She'd tilt her head a little, musing mostly to herself "... I suppose that could be why it might be a failed prototype, then..."

Hikaru beamed up with pride at her daughter's reciting of the date and time, also the subject. "Yes, that's right. Remember to do your research and finding recording like this! You're doing great! Ahem, I'll make copy of this recording with cut version of it later. I don't think scientific society would like to hear me squealing on my daughter's massive accomplishment," Hikaru commented.
Is he fine? "Don't worry Perry, just surprised is all. My hand pawpads are not used to heat you see. Well it's kind of sensitive to heat, but you got me right?"
The blueprints are unfortunately.... mostly unable to be read because how aged they looked. However, there are one thing that stayed the same... The type of paper. Apparently they're using some sort of paper with blue tint, just like actual blueprint, but... The material felt different. It felt like papyrus.
Perry thankfully would found one intact and readable. It describes design of a gauntlet, with a lot of specification of its effect. Interesting to note that there is a QR code embedded there...
"Thanks Perry. Now, to return back to work..." Yuuki sips more of his coffee, looking more alert. "Why I said it's a prototype is because generally when you do prototype for mass producing, you don't... make the whole set from the get go. You start with their parts. It's a bit more... cheaper that way I guess? Because imagine what happens if you make them one full set in get go, but some parts are not great and you have to replace the entire thing because of it...
Second why I said it's EV suit is that... it doesn't felt like useful at all against Digimon. And this size looked like more to human size. If this is worn on a Digimon then well I guess that makes sense, but still..."
"...You're bothered that it's not a legendary, thus it's not supposed to be efficient enough to be worn by Digimon?"
"Something like that, yeah."

Hikaru's pride seemed to similarly make Persephone excited; the little Dorumon's tail swishing, and her ears pricking as she grinned in her dad's direction. She was happy that she was doing great, even if she had a moment of nervousness initially. She'd giggle at Hikaru's comment, though, striding over him to affectionately bunt her head against his side - playfully and humorously responding "Of course they want to hear you! Who wouldn't?" with a big, happy grin.
She would exhale in relief and nod, though, at seeing that Hikaru was fine, before nodding. It makes sense - her pawpads were a bit sensitive, too - and she supposed that that was the point of them; to avoid actually hurting yourself. "Please be careful, Dad- I don't wanna see you get hurt." She'd gently murmur to Hikaru, nuzzling him.
Nonetheless though, as she looked over the blueprints in the cupboard, her ears would prick up at seeing what looked to be some sort of blueprint for a gauntlet. Curious, she would set all of the blueprints on top of the cupboard - even if most of them were illegible now, she imagined that they could still see if they were restorable - and would bring the gauntlet blueprint to Hikaru. "What about this one, Dad?" She'd ask him - offering the blueprint to him.
Persephone hummed in response to Yuuki's explanation over the armor being a prototype, thinking it over as she glanced to the armor. Ah... that made sense - it'd definitely be a mess if, in trying to make a prototype, you had to start from scratch because something didn't work right... And if it kept happening, from subsequent revisions? Well...
She was still skeptical over the armor not being useful against Digimon, though. "The EV suits don't really protect against attacks from digimon the same way you say that the armor does, though." Persephone would point out. "Even if it's kinda sit-... well... Scratch that; really situational, a lot of digimon still use elemental attacks - Dad's even got his Frosty Tail attack, for example - so it might still be at least semi useful for letting humans protect themselves a little better. Maybe we could build off of that in some way?"

"Pffft, so they'd like to hear me talking at length about how great my daughter is huh~?" Hikaru teased back, nuzzling at his daughter's cheek. "You know, five more years you'd beg me to not release it because how embarrassed you would be, heh heh~"
But then again, does Digimon undergoes any sort of puberty? He know they can grow mentally, but most of some awkwardness in humans are caused by puberty, mix of hormone and maturity of brain. If it's only the latter, he guessed that it wouldn't be too much of a change... right?
Imagining his children in rebellious phase scared the hell outta him though, so much that he instinctively nuzzled Perry more. You know what? His daughter is an angel for worrying about her daddy this much. Especially that critical attack on "please be careful"... Ahhh~
'....Please don't ever grew up to be a rebellious girl, Perry' - so was Hikaru's silent cry of heart said.
Then again speaking on being on rebellious phase, isn't Jill the ultimate coldness of that is the teen rebellious phase?
Oh dear.
In his little dilemma as a father, he nearly missed out the fact that Perry handed him over a blueprint. "Oh? Ah, yes, this would do. Wait, QR Code? Man, this is strange... Hmmm, let's see..." Hikaru put it on the lens part of the Athanor. At first, there are no reaction, but the moment when he move the QR code to the lens, the machine hummed and it glowed green.
"..Darn that surprised me... I think what's next is..."
"The material, right?" Yuuki commented.
The two proceeded to look for materials available. But even as he does this, talk about the armor did not miss him. "Well, you're right. It's probably can dull the pain... hmmm... going by that theory... if this was worn by people of the past... Does that means that in the past that people are more... militaristic then? Granted there are weapons here too..." Yuuki seem to be deep in thought on it.

Persephone would give Hikaru a playfully skeptic look at the idea of her being embarrassed over this in five years; but she would nonetheless laugh in response, bunting her head against his chin in an affectionate fashion. "I don't think affection's THAT embarrassing, Dad - ehehehe!" She'd respond - her tail swishing side-to-side, amused. Sure, maybe the possibility was there - even if she didn't consider it too much - but she was confident that she'd find it all just as endearing as she did now. She loved her Dad! And Dad loved her! And she enjoyed joking around with him like this, too!
Though, indeed, she was yet to really have a phase that could be construed as a 'rebellious phase'. The closest thing one could compare to that, was when she was younger - and had a habit of sneaking out of the Sanctum to explore Ys, and to find a nice quiet spot to read away from the hubbub of the sanctum whenever she had a headache or migraine. But even then, that was less out of rebellion, and more out of her love for reading, and curiosity. Who knew what a rebellious Perry would be like, if she ever went through such a phase?
Well, either way, Persephone would watch as Hikaru took the blueprint and began to fuss with it and the lens. Her ears and tail would prick excitedly at noting the machine humming and glowing green in reaction to Hikaru setting the blueprint down correctly, and she would glance around - almost immediately trying to find something that they could use for a material. All the whilst though, she would glance to the less intact blueprints she had set out - gesturing to them with her tail and asking "They're not as legible, but do you think there's any chance we could restore or glean some information out of the other blueprints, later?"
Though, with the talk of the armor, Persephone couldn't help but smile brightly at having brought up a good point - maybe she was on the right track with the armor, then! Though, the mention of the weapons drew her attention to the objects in question - and she couldn't help but wonder... "... Do the weapons do anything special, like how the armor protects against elemental stuff?"

"Oh? Is that means that you're not worried that I'll gush out my love to you in presentation to some historic forum?" Hikaru teased, gently rubbing their snout together. As much as he know he's putting a lot of unnecessary footage in his video about finding this ancient stuff, he can't help but to get excited. After all, he managed to help Perry see the hidden treasure in their very own base. An adventure is still an adventure no matter how you look at it.
"We can always try," Hikaru answered to Perry's question about trying everything out. They would soon find some metals, which apparently are... Elementite. They're actually far inferior than Chrome Digizoid, but apparently their specialty is that they can be imbued with elements. Yuuki scanned this just to be sure. They're shaped like an dodecahedron, with no flaw on it.
"....The one with silverish base color are for weapon... this black one..." Yuuki pointed at similar shaped metal "is for armor. Apparently all you just need to infuse it with element is to attack it with some sort of moves. Finding these means... yes, the weapons are imbued with element."
Yuuki picked up a spear and twirls it a bit. For some reason it looked like he's used to it. Gust of wind flew out from the tip... but this much could be said as simple gust, only enough to make the room chillier, and not enough to actually do something.
"...I guess I need to spin it faster if I want to use this fully as a weapon."

Persephone would giggle to Hikaru, as they nuzzled their snouts together. "I mean, if you want to do it, I wouldn't be opposed," She'd respond equally teasingly, giggling to him. It seemed that, even though they were probably being quite unprofessional about all of this, that she was having a lot of fun - being just as excited as Hikaru was. It was indeed a new adventure for her, going to an unfamiliar part of the base and discovering something exciting. Sure, maybe it wasn't the same as going to see the world like so many digimon love to aspire to do, but... It was still something new and exciting, something that Persephone's never been able to do, before!
Examining the metals that they had found, though - Persephone would perk curiously, scanning them with her D-Nexus as well, at the same time that Yuuki scanned them. Elementite... Brittle, but can be imbued with a digimon's elemental attack. "I suppose this explains why it can't hold up to a more physical attack," Persephone mused out loud, humming to herself. So this Elementite was imbued with different elements to make the armor? Or otherwise, it was absorbing the elements... She would glance over to Yuuki as he picked up a spear and twirl it around - though she couldn't help a slight shudder at the room chilling some. "Please don't spin it faster, I like the warmth." She'd joke to Yuuki with a slight giggle - though there was a bit of seriousness to it, given her muscles' sensitivity to the cold.
Nonetheless though, she'd look over the armor once more, humming. "... Do you think we could make an alloy out of Elementite? Or coat an armor of proper Digizoid with a layer of it, to make it more sturdy, while having the elemental capabilities?" She would ask, pondering how they could make Elementite more practical for protective purposes. If they could strengthen it even a little to hold up to more melee attacks, it could do humans or weaker digimon a lot of good, she'd imagine!
