Persephone would frown a bit - seemingly being unable to find anything on her D-Nexus for the time being. She could've sworn that something had been downloaded to it, but... Nada. What in the world...? There was also the idea that there could be more Memorial Stellas, out in the city, according to Yuuki... Persephone blinked a bit - unable to help but wonder just how much was left to open up, before the city and base would be completely restored. What would everything look like, once they reached that point?
But either way, Yuuki would question her about whether they should keep looking around, or whether they should check the city out. Persephone would hum, thinking it over, before glancing to him and mentioning "We could ask someone up above to look around while we check the murals; if something big has happened though, I'd imagine we'd hear of it pretty quickly.." She'd glance down to her D-Nexus with that - wondering if Baldur was back yet; he had left to pick up some new seeds for her some time ago, so she wasn't sure if she'd be able to call him to check.. "... If noone's available though, we could check then." Persephone would conclude, though. Going back upstairs was probably going to be a bit draining, but she understood why Yuuki might be antsy.

"That's a good idea," Hikaru commented. "Say what if we ask Jill about it?"
Jill, huh... Yuuki quickly dialed her number. "Hey, Jill? Yeah, this is me. Right, I need a quick favor. We might discovered something down here... what? You got something downloaded to your device too but when you checked it nothing is wrong? Right, it might be related to what we found... but to think it got downloaded to you too... please ask around if there is something wrong, alright? Bring the city maintenance people with you... right, um... places to go? I guess it would make sense to check the generators around the city, just in case...Share whatever you find in the group chat before putting it in announcement, kay? Right, thanks Jill."
"So it's not just us but... might be everyone in the city?" Hikaru asked.
"I fear so."
"At least it's nothing malicious right?"
"If we trust this city then there will be nothing malicious... also, Perry is right, maybe we should inspect the murals once more."
When they returned however the murals got screen in front of it, hologram obviously, but even then, rather than just murals, it's seem to be parts of the city's memory. Yuuki touched one of it, and suddenly, something like a recording plays.
The recording showed the street of the city, which looked more water-y than before, albeit with crystals jutting out from it. On the sidewalk there are interaction between humans and Digimons alike.
"...Those clothes are out of date... probably dated about 20-30 years from how it is now." Yuuki muttered
"That's old," Hikaru quipped. "Hey, look... that Digivice, they looked kinda bricklike, huh?"
"More like Tamagotchi than our current Digivice..."
Yuuki hummed again. "...This one seemed to show about the daily life of Ys back then..."

Persephone would frown gently as she listened to Yuuki talk with Jill; thinking over what it must mean, if possibly everyone in the city had experienced a strange download of their own, as a result of their snooping around. At the very least, it seemed as though there was nothing bad or malicious going on, just... Bizarre occurrences, at the worst. "I wonder if this is something that's going to happen to everyone who stops by the city, or even everyone with a D-Nexus in general..." Persephone would ponder out loud, imagining that having something suddenly downloaded to your devices as you entered Ys would be a rather concerning incident. Either way though, she would follow everyone to the murals - wanting to check them out now, now that they had Jill to handle checking out what was going on above-ground, if anything.
As she peered over the murals, though, she would note the screens that would hover before them - holograms it seemed, at a glance. As Yuuki would touch one, triggering what looked to be a recording of sorts, from a time long ago. This in particularly would catch Persephone's attention, her ears pricking as she watched the recording with visible awe; admiring how the city had looked, long ago. "I wonder where in the Real World those humans came from..." Persephone would murmur out loud, adding "If it's only been 20 or 30 years since this recording, though... Could some of these humans still be alive, somewhere? Or even their kids?"
And the digivices, too... "... Is that how the original 'proto' models of Digivice looked like, way back when?" She would also ask, her tail swishing and eyes lighting up with intrigue and interest. "How did digivices come to change to what we have today?" She'd also ask - glancing to Yuuki and Hikaru. "Do you think there's tamers out there who still use that model, like how there could be humans from the old Ys that are still alive?"

"I doubt it gonna happen to everyone," Yuuki commented. "But I have inkling that it's probably limited to those with D-Nexus... mainly because how if we're reading this correctly, Aeterna Forge is connected to whatever powering this city, thus it could act as intermediary... If it downloaded to EVERYONE then this city probably far more important than what we learned... and it could lead to something unexpected, like a holy city... I'd rather not live in holy city really."
Perry's question is great one. "From the look of this one, it looked like western country on some, Asian country on the other... mmmm, there are some ethnically clothed people here too... which honestly brings up the question... does computer even needed? Are the portals to Digital World just so easily opened like that in the past, or is it just some sort of reproduction of clothes by Digital World?"
"If their kids are current chosen then probably we should show these recording to some of our new members," Hikaru half joked. "Maybe they could saw one of their parents in this recording."
To her other question... "No idea... but that looked like what proto is like, I guess... Part of me felt that they're also chosen in different way... perhaps these people aren't really ''chosen', but simply someone who got slipped to Digital World because the barrier between world was unstable... and ended up in Ys. The demographic is a bit too... far and wide. Either way, I'm not sure either. Never see 'em brick shaped digivice before. It might works, or it's outdated and unable to transport them to digital world so it's just a memento right now... Changes... not sure either."
Right on time however, Jill returned the call. "Hello, yeah, it's me... You've asked around, yeah... as I thought, everyone got the data download? Right... any tourist? Ask tourist if something got downloaded to their Digivice too. ... so... anything else changed? ...Electricity is now running? No need for extra generators anymore? ...Huh... just as we thought of making the infrastructure too... Alright, thanks. Keep me updated."

A holy city... Persephone couldn't help but ponder over the idea for a second - wondering what such a holy city would represent or be worship to, out here in the Northern Prominence, though... After a second, she'd giggle a bit - humorously musing "At least if Ys did end up being a holy city, it wouldn't be like Luminas, hm?" with a wry smile. Still, there was the question of why this presently-unknown data was downloaded to everyone's D-Nexuses... "Although, if the data downloaded the D-Nexuses because they're linked to the Aeterna Forge, due to having been made from it..." Persephone would begin in pondering out loud, tapping her chin with a claw. "... Do you think that the artifacts from the Forge will react to something or be affected in some way, too, even if not necessarily from this specifically?"
Hearing that there were people from all over the world, though... There was something definitely curious about it all, that Persephone couldn't help but ponder. "... This... In a way, makes me think of the Tower of Babel. Maybe not a perfect fit, but..." She'd muse out loud, mentioning "Surely for humans from so many different ethnicities, origins, and whatnot - there'd be multiple language barriers. Yet these people here are able to walk amongst each other with seemingly no problem. I wonder if they somehow knew a common language, or otherwise had digimon or some other form of technology to interpret for them as necessary..."
Though, another thought occurred to her as they discussed the prototype digivices, and the idea that these people might've been people who simply ended up in here by pure accident as opposed to fate. "Could it also have been something to do with rifts like in the Shibuya River? Or in the subway...? It's a harebrained idea, but... I could see local governments working to cover up and hide, quarantine, or close down those rifts..." She'd ask, visibly pondering out loud, as she added "Though if the boundaries between our worlds got unstable enough for a bunch of humans all over the world to cross over, I wonder if there's mentions of it in any history books; or missing persons reports..."
Then, came Jill's return call. Persephone's ears would prick curiously - though much like before, she could only hear one end of the call; mentions of everyone in KIZNA having gotten data downloaded to their devices, electricity running, and the such. But, she wasn't about to make any assumptions - instead asking "How're things looking up top?"

"Even if it's not like Luminas, or even if it's not built in way similar to Luminas, the moment someone declare Ys a Holy City then we'll most likely face some sort of people who said they're entitled of their holy land. We're only allowed to run this city to how we did because we found it first, and its status wasn't that of a holy city... we registered ourselves as the de facto leader of the city, and then other cities acknowledged our autonomy, thus it's also acknowledged in de jure. But if someone said that Ys is their Holy City and had strong backing for that claim? We probably have to rescind our rule of this city that we raised by our own hands....
...so really, a holy city is not a trifling matter. I'd rather Ys be something... simple, something that chose us simply because we're here..." Yuuki commented.
"I respect people and their religion, but if they start pulling shit like saying cities that we build by our own hands to be theirs after all that we done to it, then I will kick them out of this city myself personally." Hikaru muttered.
Artifact from the forge? "Not sure if there are any to be honest. Most of the items in the shop are not categorized as artifact and more to consumables. The only active artifact is Tetsu's [Purified Water Core].... and even then he's not here."
Tower of Babel? Interesting comparisons. "...There is no audio sadly... If there is audio we can at least understand what's up... For now maybe we can theorize that this city in fact translated the words of its inhabitant directly back in the past, but who knows...."
"If they have something like Esperanto I'll be very amused honestly," Hikaru commented. He also made a thoughtful hum at his daughter's conjecture.
"Rather than the government closed it, apparently there was something that happened ages ago... even before when I was active, that caused the side of Digital World closed all its portal sans the one in Japan. Before then apparently the portals are more of a commonplace... Either way I'm guessing such disappearances probably would be covered up, treated as existence of Alien, like a myth that makes people excited, and almost like a Schrodinger's Cat for those who are unaware."
To answer Perry's question, Yuuki only repeated what Jill said. "...Mostly under control, but there are a bit of unease in the public. We might need to do thorough scanning later, just to see what's up."

Persephone would make a sheepish expression as Yuuki and Hikaru responded a bit more seriously than she had expected, in regards to her joke about holy cities - pointing out the issues that would come along if Ys was ever to be declared as a Holy City. "Ah... Yeah, that's all true. I didn't really mean it all that seriously, though..." Persephone would remark, scratching the back of her head a bit awkwardly, following up "I was just joking around a little, is all."
She was glad to move on to the talk of the artifacts though - thinking over Hikaru's response regarding Tetsu's own artifact. "Hm... Maybe once we start putting the Aeterna Forge to work proper, then, or once Tetsu comes back, we could bring an artifact from the forge to this Memoria Stella? See what happens, if it's at all like how it reacted to our D-Nexuses?" Persephone would suggest next, wondering what might happen. Surely, you can't really download data onto an artifact, but... If the Stella was reacting to the D-Nexuses, which were made from the forge... Then would other artifacts from the forge react, too? It certainly was the logical conclusion, at least to Persephone...
And as for the question of language... It was a shame there wasn't really any audio to go off of - Persephone would try to peer more closely at the recording, to see if there were any visible signs or writing, but... Otherwise, unless she found something, it was hard to say how exactly languages in Ys worked, back then. "I suppose so, either or." She'd hum in response to the mentions of both Esperanto, and the possibility of translation.
And the occurrence in the Digital World, years ago, that caused the portals to close... Persephone thought it over for a second, wondering if she shouldn't ask for some more history books to try and study the event in question - since surely, so many portals closing at once must've been a big event, right? "... I wonder if any digimon ended up stranded, when those portals closed up. Certainly wouldn't be a fun thing to experience, that much is for sure..." She couldn't help but muse out loud, a sympathetic hue to her words. To end up cut off from going home, forced to hide amongst humans to survive... Surely that wouldn't be a pleasant fate for any digimon, given how governments could be about digimon sometimes... And if they died in the human world - to her understanding, they just straight up died, didn't they? It likely meant that a good few handfuls of digimon must've disappeared, that day...
Persephone nodded in regards to Jill's message, humming some. "I wish I could help with that, but I imagine that'd be a lot of walking in the cold, and you know how that tends to agree with me." She'd laugh a bit sheepishly. But, after a moment of thought... "Though, then again..." She murmured to herself. "... I could probably check around the Sanctum while you both are out and about..."

"No, we understand, sorry, sweetie... but at the same time it's not exactly an impossible scenario either..." Hikaru admitted. "That's why as much as possible we prefer to have that neutrality that Ys offered to us. In case shit goes south, it's best to get ready for that... that's why as soon as possible, we have to spread our wings so we can make this city not only lawfully ours, but also in body and spirits."
"We're sorry for taking the joke too seriously though," Yuuki apologized.
Yes, Tetsu's artifact might be one of the key. "...We'll ask him if there is any reaction to it... I'll set a reminder to see if there is something that happened once he entered the city. The message will be triggered when he returns here... just in case that is. If nothing happened we'll just ask him to go here... to this room that is."
Writing seem to be in... Digimoji? Nothing different at all. What's different is probably how the writing under it, which is basically a board with digital display, switches between several languages. Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese and Greek. There are also Portuguese and Spanish too. Not sure whether it's spoken in the city or not, though. However, it looked like the city already calculated about people who stayed inside.
Stranded Digimons... "Perhaps there are some. Perhaps they also become human world myth... Mothman for example, those kind of stuff. As for what happened to them, no idea... I'd rather not think about it honestly..."
Perry... suggested that she could probably stay while the two of them look for clues. Honestly, Hikaru is... very skeptical about this... He really don't want to leave his daughter in unknown place like this... but at the same time, he felt it's safer to let her stay here... after all, he just felt holy, or sacred vibe coming from this place rather than a bad one...
"...Would you like to ride me and see what we can find in the city, or are you in mood to check the murals and recording more?" Hikaru finally asked.

Persephone upon hearing their respective apologies and explanations, would sweetly smile to Hikaru and Yuuki both, nuzzling them. "It's okay, both of you... I probably should've taken it a bit more seriously, myself." She'd reassure them, smiling a bit more sheepishly. "If Ys did become a holy city, it'd probably cause us a whole lot of headache to sort it all out; and it wouldn't exactly be a laughing matter, either." She understood why the two were taking it seriously - she simply wanted to make a joke to lighten the mood a bit, about the reputation that Luminas had accrued, being a holy city of its own that wasn't seen positively by some digimon.
"That sounds good, though. Hopefully Tetsu's artifact will bring something new to light - and if not him, then maybe when someone else makes an artifact here!" Persephone smiled warmly, asking "Is anyone particularly close to making any artifacts of their own, by the way? I'd love to see the actual process in action, when the time comes..." Certainly, she technically could've been there to watch Tetsu make his artifact, but... She had been bedridden at the time, with a nasty cold; illnesses - even illnesses that were typically mild or minor - tended to hit her much harder than the average digimon, due to her weak immune system. It was a shame, really, but Tetsu wasn't going to be the only one who'd ever use the forge!
And seeing the writing of the boards and signs... Persephone's ears would prick up, and her tail would swish curiously and excitedly as she took the time to note down even the smallest details that she could. Even if it didn't add up to much, it would still be something, she felt - and it was fascinating, seeing all the different languages that the board in the recording would switch between! "So many different languages, so many different cultures... I almost wish that I had a way to see into the past, so that I could see for myself what it must've been like, so long ago!" Her tail would swish harder - grinning up in Hikaru and Yuuki's directions, asking "Do you think there might be digimon who could remember what Ys was once like, or could see into the past like that? I know that some digimon like Meicoomon - particularly Rasielmon - can see into the future, but imagine meeting someone who could see the past like they were there in person, or someone who actually has been there!"
Hearing of the stranded digimon, though... It was interesting, the idea that cryptids and other modern creatures of myth could've been digimon that humans had come into contact with; but it was also sad, the idea that they might've met some unpleasant fates... Being cut off from home in the first place didn't sound fun at all! She'd quietly nod in agreement, at Yuuki's mention of not wanting to think about it.
And then, came the question of looking around for clues, either in the city above - or these rooms below... Persephone was unsure about whether she wanted to leave for the city quite yet - there was still so much here they had yet to discover! Who knew what might be in those other doors, or even what might be yet to be discovered in this very room?? She couldn't deny the mysterious, intriguing vibe in the air, either - the vibe that Hikaru had noted himself. It made her feel like she was treading in some forgotten temple, in a way.
As he offered to give her a ride on his back once more, Persephone would glance to her father, before laughing sheepishly. "Ah... You know it's hard for me to say no to that, Dad..." She'd murmur with a giggle and a warm smile - going up to Hikaru and affectionately nuzzling him, snuggling close to him. Though, she would glance out towards the other murals - adding "Though... I'm also a little reluctant to stop exploring here quite yet, or to go out into the cold - even with your healing to help stave off any aches... Do you think we'll be able to go back to where we left off, if we did go above ground to look around?"

"Yeah, that's true.... I really don't want to think of that scenario, but all thing considered, this city's barrier teleports any aggressors out. So technically if they tried to enter Ys and make false accusation, the city themselves will reject them... Even then, it's completely powerless against slanders that came from outside the city itself. Honestly, it's a great thing that Luminas undergone revolution, otherwise this city might also branded as a heretic's city..." Yuuki commented.
"Luminas had too many powers, to be honest," HIkaru added. "Before they used their status as the one who's apparently the closest to [God] of Digital World and reverse of Dark Area as a platform to exert their powers into other cities... but now they're not as powerful. But whether there is really [God] in Luminas or not, no one really knows. It might be lies invented by the people there... it might exist, who knows."
Theology is never really Hikaru's strong suit. Considering there are too many Digimons with data of 'Divines' (God Man-type), It's hard to actually take the term [God] seriously. Even so, if there is a [God of Digital World], Hikaru believed that they must be an aggregate consciousness in some way or another, ones that secretly pulling strings in partnership of chosen and their Digimons. If there are only one will, why are the chosens are picked more sporadically with almost no pattern to them? Thankfully, Perry's question snapped him out of it.
"...Actually.... when it comes to artifact crafting, I think we're pretty close to it ourselves," Hikaru commented. "Would you like to see one day?"
Hmm, a Digimon who might remembers Ys...
"If there is one, I think they would somehow return to see Ys for themselves should we return this city to its former glory? That's why it should be our mission to recover that glory in one way or another."
Hmmmm, still, as expected....
"Well, for one I don't think this room will lock itself once again... I believe that this is archive of the city in one way or another, so we can enter it and go as we please... But if you prefer to stay here in warmth of the city, I think none of us would hold that against you. It's getting late, too, so the temperature drops significantly. All I ask is you should probably take a bath or something when you felt your body start aching, alright?"

Persephone would hum briefly, as the subject of Gods came up - and whether or not they really existed. "Personally... I don't really know if any Gods exist either, but I like to think that there is some higher power - just not in the way that most people might imagine it." She'd muse briefly to Hikaru - peering over at the murals with a thoughtful expression. "Something, perhaps, akin to the concept of Homeostasis, or the motherboard of a computer; something that isn't really worried about holy or dark, vaccine or virus - heck, maybe it doesn't even think the same way we do, assuming it thinks at all. I imagine if there is some higher power, that it instead focuses more on simply ensuring the world keeps moving onward, and making sure the world functions as it should."
"But even if that's my personal belief, I do want to keep an open mind, too." She'd smile gently to Yuuki and Hikaru. "The Digital World can be quite unpredictable, after all; who knows what's out there, that we simply haven't discovered yet?"
At the mention of them being close to doing some artifact crafting, though... Persephone's eyes would light up with distinct interest. "Yes, I'd love to watch it all happen! Please do let me know when you're both ready to start making your artifact!" She'd chirp excitedly, tail beginning to practically wag in her enthusiasm. She wanted to see the process for herself, even if she had a basic idea of it - who knows what she might learn or notice from watching it, and comparing and contrasting it to how the Athanor worked? And to see what kind of artifact her dad and Yuuki might come up with... She was eager for that, too!
As far as going to the city above though, or staying down here... Persephone would give Hikaru's response some thought as she leaned against him, snuggling up to him. "Mm... ..." On one hand, whilst she was feeling decently spry right now... It was mostly because Hikaru's healing helped stave off any stiffness and weakness, or aches and pains, that'd otherwise disable her; who knew how much longer until the aches would begin coming back. She, also, wanted to spend time with her family - exploring these rooms with him was fun, after all! But on the other hand... It was hard to convince herself to part from the murals, all the fascinating lore that was here. Certainly, she could come back once they were down up above, but... The information!
Claws idly clicking against the ground as she fidgeted in thought - Persephone would eventually glance up to Hikaru, as she came to a decision. "Mm... I think I'll come with you after all, Dad. It's just a little hard parting myself from all this potential information - learning about Ys' past is exciting!" She'd giggle briefly, before adding "But I do love you, Dad, and I love spending time with you."

"indeed, I think something that's called [God] should be treated with open mind. Although... what surprises me is the extent of your genre savvyness in human technological terminology," Yuuki commented, looking quite positively amazed by this development. He knows that Perry loves to read but the extent of her knowledge in lore and the possibility of her knowing his own (unpublished) journal of Digital World theory which he put in the base's library simply because it's easier to find it there amuses him.
"We'll tell you when that happened! I think we could use some helping hands too..." Hikaru admitted "because honestly? Bringing items to that altar is a bit of a hike... just how many stairs steps were there?"
"About 77, give or take."
"Fuck my legs but at least there are about four levels."
So Perry decided to come with them. That's fine with him, and honestly he prefer it that way... "Well then, Perry, it's best to climb me. After we get out I think I'll evolve once more to make it easier for us to check how the city is doing. Sounds good?"
"Well, let's get out of here first then..."
The moment they're out from the Sanctuarium Unionis, Yuuki evolved Hikaru further to Dorugreymon. The red fur of the long necked furred dragon provides more warmth, practically making the chilly winds felt like nothing. Despite so, when they're out, it's already dark. One thing that worth noting is how the lamps on the city seem to shine brighter compared to the usual. More and more districts seems to be lit compared to the day before. Hikaru headed toward the Plaza, where Jill is talking with some citizen. The moment she saw Hikaru, she waved at them.
"Thanks for coming. Should I tell my report n---Perry? Well I guess it's fine that you're with Father, but make sure that you stay warm, alright? Anyway, ahem... should I began my report?"
"Please."
"Nothing hazarduous appeared in the city... that's the first... the second, is how apparently the city expanded slightly. Normally, a five minutes walk suddenly become seven minutes. it's as if the city slowly decompressed itself."
"Decompressed..."
"That aside, several facilities that previously unaccessible are now can be accessed... there are facilities that seem to appear out of nowhere, like the training gym on the north..."
"That building, eh..." Hikaru looked toward the north, where from out of waterfall-like ice cascade, a building seem to appear out of nowhere. "...You sent people to check it?"
"Yes, and they did not find anything dangerous. But..."
"But?"
"...It's strangely... how to say... some facilities seem to be accessible only with our badges... it's as if the city is adapting for us."

Persephone would giggle briefly, scratching the back of her head. "When I don't have books to read, and don't feel like getting up to move to the library, I sometimes look up stuff to read on my D-Nexus." She'd explain, her fur briefly puffing up in her own equivalent of a blush in response to Yuuki's praise and amazement. "It's surprisingly easy to get sidetracked just reading random informative articles, pages, and the whatnot; so I sometimes learn a lot about miscellaneous things, like computer parts."
Persephone's eyes would light up happily as Hikaru agreed to let her know when it was time, though... Yet, the mention of Hikaru and Yuuki probably needing help bringing things up to the altar would tilt her head a bit. "I'm more than happy to help where I can, though you know how stairs tend to agree with me," She'd begin - offering them a shy smile, and sheepishly scratching the back of her head. It wasn't uncommon for her to ask someone's help getting up the stairs, given her condition and how her walker didn't agree with stairs; so she wasn't sure how much she'd be able to help them with carrying things. Though...
"... But don't you two have an infinistorage? Couldn't you two pack it up for fewer trips, or just one trip if it can all fit in there?" She'd tilt her head a little with the question, seeming confused. "I could've sworn that you two have one, at least... I might be getting mixed up with someone else, honestly."
With Hikaru's mention of his plans regarding their trek back up to the city above, though, Persephone would nod. "Sounds good, Dad." She'd chirp with a warm smile, moving to climb up onto his back once he digivolved into Dorugamon proper, and nestling herself between his wings - amongst the warm and soft fur - as he began moving out...
...
As the trio made their way through the streets of the city, Persephone would be quiet; visibly admiring her surroundings, and noting all the little changes that she could spot. From the districts, to the lights... It might've been a trick of the eye, but even the glimpse of the moon she'd catch thru the hole in the roof of the dome felt a little brighter to her. All the whilst, her tail would be swishing with idle excitement; a clear sign to Hikaru of how she felt, without needing to put it into words. She would still speak nonetheless though, murmuring "Does it all feel just a little brighter to you, too, Dad? Everything just... Is lit up, and paired with things like the light glittering off of stuff like the snow... It's all so beautiful..."
As they'd reach the Plaza to see Jill though, the little Dorumon's eyes would light up noticeably - peeking over Hikaru's back at her older sister. Her ears, too, would prick up as to listen to the Strabimon's words; though Jill noticing her would make her blink, before sheepishly giggling. "Aheh, yeah, I am Jill! Dad's fur is nice and cozy; and I got my shawl on!" She'd respond, before settling back down against Hikaru's fur as she'd listen to the both of them talk - her ears idly twitching back and forth between the other three as they'd speak up and discuss the changes in the city.
Which, these changes were quite interesting... The city had grown in size a little bit, from the sounds of things - and various different buildings have cropped up...? This would make Persephone hum to herself in thought, tilting her head idly as she pondered it over - though Jill's theory about the city adapting for them would catch her attention in particular. She'd peek over at Jill again, asking both her and the other two "Sort of like... As though the whole city were our base, or otherwise thought itself our base, as opposed to just the Sanctum being our base?"

D-Nexus is connected to internet, just like any other phone, and without data plan too. That aside, it's exceeding 5G in speed, and will most likely evolve further as the Digital World evolves... that's what's great about it. Either way, Perry's question does make sense. The two of them froze for a moment, before thinking. "...Could we use infini-store there?"
"...Frankly? No idea. The items were reacting ever since the first staircase, so we thought that they can't. Not sure whether they will react inside the room or not, but... well, perhaps we'll try it, but last time we do, we don't have InfIni Store. I guess it doesn't help either that our Digivice was in fact merged with our D-Terminal and the high purity Pearl Digicite to make D-Nexus when we arrived at the top...."
"...So we really had no idea whether it can or cannot," Hikaru surmised.
Hikaru obviously noticed the differences, but it's still hard to pinpoint... "...I think the structure of the streetlamps kinda changed too... or is it just my feeling? It looked more... elaborate..." Hikaru commented.
Perry's conclusion does makes sense, but... "I think it's more the fact that the base is somehow connected to the city, as we theorized," Hikaru answered. "Which... leaves some question... like if we find the same monument like we did in the city, what would happened then? Would the city expands? Would it somehow returns to how it was back in its former glory? is there anything we have to do before we can activate those monuments?"
"Good questions, honestly."

Persephone would giggle a little, scratching her cheek with a bit of an amused look. "Well, maybe we should see if we can carry the materials in the Infini-Store, before we start going up and down all those stairs." She'd muse with a hair of humor, playfully nudging the duo with her tail. "It'd be a bit of a pain if we carried the materials up without the infini-storage, only to find out that it's doable once we're already done, I'm sure!" It certainly would be for her - both literally, and figuratively. She'd like to be efficient with this if she could at all help it, after all!
Persephone hummed a bit in response to Hikaru's comment, peering up at the streetlamps. "I think I see what you mean," She'd comment - adding "A lot of the little things in the city seem more elaborate in general actually, now that I get a good look at it... It all honestly makes me wish I took a better look at the recording, to see how the architecture might compare or contrast to the architecture as it was before, or as it is now."
The base and the city being connected... She supposed that'd make sense, too, though she wondered just how big the difference would be between their own conclusions. In any case though, she'd respond "It'd make sense if finding more of those Memoria Stellas would bring back a little more of the city - bit by bit - given this is what has happened after we found the one under the Sanctum... Though it does raise the question of just how big the city will get, by the end of everything; we can already house a good amount of people as it is, how many will we be able to house once the city reaches its full potential?"
