Aya had been typing on Tamernet for quite some time. The Trailmon ride from the tower over to where they were supposed to start their patrol couldn't possibly that boring, it wasn't even that long! Coolmon glanced over to her partner, who seemed like she was having...fun.
"Hey, who're you talking to?"
"Someone we both know. Remember the girl from the Tamernet...room? Thread? Whatever it is. I'm asking her for advice about the woods." The woman explained to the rabbit. "Oh, woods girl? ...How is she?"
This conversation carried on until they had reached their destination. The Trailmon came to a halt and the doors opened to reveal an entrance to the Server Woods, like any other. There wasn't anything special or sinister about this one. Just trees and grass and the breeze of spring.
Aya and Coolmon disembarked to see if anyone else was there. If not? Well, they were gonna wait a bit--maybe she actually would show up. It'd be neat to meet someone from the internet in a...digital world. Huh.

The Trailmon kept a fast pace as it went directly to the Eastern Timberland, Eleonora waited for her stop at the server woods, her mind focus on so many things, reading back and forth the chat she had with this girl m.aya and wondering if this was actually a good idea, going back to the woods so soon could not help her as much as she would like to think, but she will feel even worst if something happens to the girl.
"Well, there is no turning back, I shouldn't worry too much her partner can reach ultimate, we are going to be safe I'm sure of it, I'm just over thinking it"
While normally she would have her partners by her side, but knowing where she's heading it'll be best if the three stay on the Xros Loader until needed, the last thing they need is to be split again and there is no way to know if they're getting help again, for all she knows the woods can way different than when she was there, and even back then that place move and shift playing mind tricks with everyone.
As the Trailmon finally reach the stop Leo sighed and exit, the German made her way to the meeting point her heart beating a little bit faster each step closer she took to the entrance of the forest, thankfully it didn't take too long to found a girl wearing an armor...? This knights take really serious that title...
"Are you Aya? I'm Eleonora, it's nice to meet you" She said giving a warm smile to the girl

The Trailmon that Aya had taken there quickly sped off while she and Coolmon awaited. "...So is this place really haunted? I thought you had been here before." She asked the Cutemon, who offered a shrug. "Different parts of the woods work...kind of differently. Last time I was here, I...actually don't remember what happened." Because that thread died. Hahaaaaa.
"...Maybe Leo was right." Aya mused as another Trailmon pulled up. Was that her company for this patrol? She glanced towards the train as the doors opened to reveal a rather...striking young lady who was probably her age. Of course, when asked who she was? Aya gave a swift nod. "Yes, that's me." She stated before she took a quick bow.
At least she didn't notice the armor...? "It's really nice to finally meet you!" Aya told Leo, a bright smile upon her face. Coolmon, meanwhile, circled the German, before she clicked her tongue some. "...Yeah, she seems cool enough. Hi, I'm Coolmon!"

One thing was for sure, Aya wasn't too different from the girl she talked to online, still very polite and admittedly cute, probably they are around the same age maybe Aya is a little older but that's just an assumption due to the girl being taller and well.. Let's say the armor doesn't hide her figure that much, also what's with the armor and high heels? that sounds and looks impractical, specially when you have to run or something, if walking in high heels is a pain already the German can't imagine running. "The pleassure is mine, didn't expect to meet you so soon but glad you reach to me for help"
While the greetings were given a small pink rabbit walked and circled around Leo, this should be Aya's partner Coolmon (something she confirm in the moment), claiming that Leo was "cool enough" she introduce herself, she seems like a nice partner and the blonde just could smile, definitely it feels that this two were made for each other "Good to know I'm on the cool side, hope my partners fit in the cool group too, for a couple of reasons they are safe on the Xros Loader, but if needed I'll bring them out"
With that said she pull her digivice and show the screen to Aya and Coolmon where the duo would see 3 little 8-bit images, two gears and a ball   They are those three just yet, but soon I hope find more partners to build this army |

Aya was pretty sure this was the same Leo she was talking to. Possibly. Wait, was she eyeballing her? That thought sort of made Aya's face go a little pink. Well, Leo's identity was actually pretty much confirmed when the German spoke! The lilac-haired girl nodded some more at her. "I didn't expect to either, truthfully. But, I was told to patrol the woods and I thought asking you for advice would be the smart move." She thought it was a good move so far, at least. Two heads were better than one.
Aya then glanced down to Coolmon. "Do you need to do that to everyone I meet?"
"Yes!"
...Okay then? Aya looked at the Loader--She hadn't seen that sort of Digivice before, so she instinctively reached into her nonexistent pocket for her D-3, before remembering that it was at her wrist and secured in a cradle. Regardless, she removed the device from her wrist and showed it to Leo. "Mine's not like that, but...Yours looks interesting. I know there's another one that lets you turn into one--that one strikes me as the weirdest, but...Yours...It lets you have several partners at once?"
She couldn't recognize the ones on the screen, either. The armored girl actually seemed pretty interested in the subject of Xros Generals too... "...Oh. Um. Should we start walking?"
"Well, duh! Patrols don't go on themselves, Aya." Coolmon nodded, sagely. "...Oh, and they do look pretty cool! Two Hagurumon and a Mamemon?" The rabbit inquired.

"I see, a very unfortunate coincidence if you ask me, some one telling you don't go there and then your bosses are like "You go there", well I hope we can be of help!" Said Eleonora noticing Aya blushing a little, which meant that the girl saw the German ogling her a little, better don't bring up that subject and focus on the task at hand.
Seems that Coolmon checking you and deciding whether you're cool or not is something that she does regularly, well it is nice to know she's on the cool side, wonder if she considers everyone cool or Leo is one of the lucky ones? also it seems that her partners pass the coolness check too, so that's nice meaning there won't be any problem if they're brought up out of the digivice
"Actually one is a Solarmon!" She clarified as Coolmon name the species of the three digimon "And all three are X Digimon, I don't know if you guys know about them, but they have slightly variations of the original gaining certain traits that otherwise they wouldn't normally have, like drills and two smaller gears for Hagurumon and Solarmon and fire resistance and kind of control for Mamemon"
In any case Aya was right, they should start walking and doing the patrol, Eleonora follow the lilac-haired girl and her rabbit through the entrance of the forest, the closer she got there the faster her heart beat, something inside of her was screaming to not go back there, maybe she wasn't ready yet, whatever it was the blonde stop walking after passing the very first couple of trees.
"Sorry... I just..." She took a deep breath and finally catch Aya and Coolmon "I'm fine, just needed a second to collect myself" She smiled, hopefully not worrying the girl and her partner "So, why are you patroling this area? Is there anything the knights need to confirm or something?"

"It really is, isn't it? Luckily, it's just...as it is. Patrolling the place." Realistically, there wasn't much that could go wrong here...But at the same time, anything could happen. Thankfully, neither of the girls brought up anything awkward. Instead, Coolmon was being corrected a little?
"I see...Yeah, I know a thing or two about the Digimon with that antibody. The differences between them and the originals are quite...interesting to research about." Coolmon stated, suddenly gaining a vague hinting of intellect that wasn't present before. The Mamemon had pyrokinesis...?
Interesting. Aya and Coolmon began their walk, but paused as Leo had to stop. They'd wait for her to catch up, with Aya even going back to see if she's okay. "Is the atmosphere getting to you? I know it's springtime right now...Um. Any allergies?" Oh, right. The German had asked a question.
"It's more or less to make sure there's no trouble cropping up around the area. Though, from what you told me over Tamernet? Maybe keeping an eye out here would be a good idea nonetheless. Plus, even if anything's up...The route's apparently pretty scenic according to Coolmon."
The same Coolmon who was taking point and keeping her eyes peeled!

Patrolling doesn't sound that bad being honest, but there must be a reason for this patrol its a little odd that after she warns her about it Aya is sent to patrol the woods... Maybe Leo is just being paranoid which sounds like the most accurate scenario, can't help it but
she shouldn't worry this time she has access to one extra form and for what Aya told her Coolmon is pretty strong, so it shouldn't be any problems, right?
"Y-Yeah! Spring allergies that must be it" Leo laughed nervously, does the digital world even have seasons like the normal world? And considering her "Problem" would she even be able to be alergic to something or catch a cold? Best not think too hard about it "Well if you need extra eyes my partners have them, they can actually detach the two little gears on their head and let them scout ahead, still I'd prefer to bring them when it's extremely necessary, I know this forest can pull a lot of bad tricks and I don't want to be split from them again"
Being honest while at the time she was still getting to know both gears but the fog surrounding her, the Bakemon talking and trying to bring her down just show her how much she need those two, and now more than ever she'll need the twins and any other member of the army she can recruit
"Mind if I ask you how you two met?" Little small talk and getting to know each other will help to ease her "Did you fell from the bridge over the Shibuya River or went through a different warp point like the Trailmons? Also I do hope your meeting with Coolmon was better than mine with Gurren and Lagann, they scare the life out of me" Eleonora laughed

"Huh. I wasn't aware that you could suffer those here..." Aya murmured. There was a hint of worry on her face directed towards the German, but...if she was okay? Then she was okay. There wasn't much sense in stressing out over this too much--that'd be underestimating her company.
That function of her partners, though? That sounded...useful. Incredibly so. "That's amazing....Though, the forest split you from your partners? That must've been frightening." She noted, continuing to walk. Honestly, she'd be a lot more scared of this if she and Coolmon were alone. "Oh, uh...We met while I was walking home from some volunteer work one day. A week and some days ago in the Real World." Aya began, before she raised a hand to start making signs to emphasize certain points.
"So, I met this girl a few years younger than me by the name of Kaede--she's sweet, but incredibly...apathetic. She had this gigantic egg that we thought some weird ostrich had laid, and it hatched into a Moonmon. Then it started rambling about tamers and stuff to us in a heavy accent. It was...strange. I had already gotten a lecture on this by a creepy serpent with a scroll, but...hearing it a second time was strange. Then Coolmon came in wearing a holosuit and told us to not call the baby crazy. Then my digivice--which I thought was a paperweight, turned pink and...I'll let you guess the rest."
She didn't want to tell Leo that Coolmon was bawling for at least five minutes after that. "...How did they scare you? Um...Can you tell me that story?" Aya asked of the German, her eyes alight with curiosity.

Even if it was for just a second the worried expression of Aya was enough to not want to show any sign of weakness again, she won't scare nor be a dead weight for this girl, that aside the German listen to Aya and Coolmon's meeting story, her eyes shining in curiosity as the story develop, she love hearing about how digimon met their partners
The mention of a supposed ostrich egg got her attention, but once it was reveal that a Moonmon got out of it she just giggle, if there is a thing she still doesn't understand abour digimon (and doesn't want to know either) is how are they capable of "laying eggs", also seems that Aya had at least two introductions to the concept of being a tamer so in any case the girl was kinda ready for this.
"That's a nice story, fascinating in their own too, can't imagine what would I do if everything happen in our world" Speaking of Aya wanted to know her story now, her memory was still a little fuzzy but she does remember something of her meeting with the gears "I don't want to bore you too much with the details so to make a long story short, I came to Japan looking for someone special to me that I have not seen in at least five years, I don't remember exactly what happen but I fell from the bridge on the river and landed in the digital world, soon after I woke up the two gears show up "scan" me and said that I was a perfect match to be their general, do I really have to say that I almost scream my lungs out?"
What happened after that is vague for her, she knows someone gave her a proper introduction but who is a complete mystery as it seems to be lost with her memory, but is it important tho? The point is she decided to stay and work with the gears, she then focus on a previous, the one about the forest splitting them.
"Yeah, this forest play some bad trick on us, first a thick fog cover us and after some minutes running I realize I was completely alone whit no trace of my partners, but I don't think that'll happen and if it does I'm just gonna hold you and Coolmon and never let go until we are out of the woods and safe!"

Curious and curious. Both the girls were rather interested in the stories they had for one another. Coolmon, meanwhile, was ever vigilant, though she did wipe a tear from her eye as Aya recounted how she met. There was...rarely ever a time where she could quantify how it felt to cry tears of joy.
That was the only time she ever had.
Aya, meanwhile, was paying close attention to Leo's tale. She came to Japan with a purpose, but fell into the river. Such a thing should be...perilous. Maybe even fatal. Yet it wasn't. "Doesn't...I thought the river was polluted to hell and back. That...sounds filthy. So you woke up in this world and met the gears?"
That sure did sound like a scary way to meet your partners. "...I'd scream too, don't worry." Okay, the fog...definitely sounded scary. After a brief period of silence? "I won't lose you." Aya decided. "So, hold either of us as much as you see fit. We're knights, so we're supposed to protect people. This is no different!" The tamer declared.
"...Wow, you're really getting into the idea of the whole knight thing!" Coolmon piped up. "But...Uh. I'm gonna have to detract coolness points. You should want to protect people because YOU want to. Not because it's your job!"
You know what? That was fair.

Seeing Aya so focus on her story made Eleonora smile, even if the story was missing a lot of details and wasn't that long, the fact that she just listen so attentively made the German happy, she did brought up something Leo didn't thought nor remember, the river is polluted as hell falling there and trying to swim back up must've been a horrible experience.
"Now that you mention it... I'm kinda glad I don't remember exactly how things happen, no need to remind my desparet attemps of swimming on that thing before reaching the digital world" She laughed
She just realize that Coolmon was walking right in front of them, keeping an eye for any trick the forest would like to play while the two humans talked, at least one was taking their patrol job seriously, they kept walking in silence for some minutes until Aya decided to break the silence with "I won't lose you" a sudden statement that made Leo's cheeks go a little red.
"I see..." She said looking to a side trying to hide her blush "It actually means a lot hearing that, I feel a little uneasy if I'm honest but hey I feel that next to you I have nothing to fear, I'll do my best to help you too!" That said the blonde shyly hold Aya's hand, was this weird? Who knows but if it actually the fog came back better be prepared and the girl did say that she could hold as much as she saw fit. "Hope this isn't weird for you" She laughed nervously

The German seemed a little happier. Less fearful. This was good. This was the intent. Aya did giggle some at the German's attempt at humor. "That's fair--maybe you'll retain a bit more dignity not telling me about that, hm?"
It was true that Coolmon was the only one that appeared to be doing their job--Granted, Aya was as well, but talking to someone while keeping watch on patrol is less effective than just doing the latter. Though, at the very least? They were doing a good job of keeping tensions at an all time low.
Aya wasn't kidding, though. She was ready to do anything in her power to stop what Leo described from happening again. Though, Leo taking ahold of her hand was...unexpected, to say the least. Yet, what was more unexpected than Aya actually squeezing the German's hand?
"If it works, it works. Just...stay close to Coolmon and I. I don't think fog'll separate us if we're within arms reach of each other, right?"
The knight seemed...quite calm about this.

Retain her dignity? That's a nice way to put it, specially that thanks to what little army she has poor girl will need every small bit of dignity she can save, while Coolmon did seem to have a personality little similar to Kamina at least she seemed more tame on that regard,the Mamemon can't stop talking to save his life.
"Well I gotta leave a good impression, even if my dignity dies in any minute, right?" Eleonora giggle
Good thing was that the hand holding wasn't weird, truth be told the German was still a little scare and nervous but this really help her to remain calmed, in a way was the same reason she went that far on that adventure, knowing that she had to protect Layla and prevent to be split again holding hands was a way to keep her calm and in her tough girl/general persona.
But this time was different, she didn't put a strong act as she didn't seem to be needed, even if Aya seems sweet and innocent, there is this feeling that the girl can take care of herself and her partner too will help, so Eleonora doesn't have to play the Brave General act, she feels safe around these two
Feeling Aya softly squeezing her hand was unexpected to say the least, it make Eleonora feel both safe and a little bit nervous/awkward, trying to take away that awkward feeling she decided to change the subject and bring her team into the patrol now.
"Y-Yeah, Thanks... Like I said it means a lot.. Uhmm... Guess it'll be best to bring my guys here, we don't want Coolmon doing all the hard work, right?" She said and with her free hand reach for her Xros Loader releasing the two gears and metallic bean "This is my "army", Hagurumon is Gurren, Solarmon is Lagann and Mamemon is Kamina" She introduce her partners one by one
"And together we are the still on the making BRAVE HEART ARMY, it is a pleasure to meet you both!" Kamina greet the girls with a big smile "Now, who do we have to punch?"
"Hopefully, nobody" Eleonora sighed seeing the little metal ball doing exactly what she expect to happen "We're just on patrolling, eyes open and stay alert we don't want another "wood incident" OK?"
"Leave it to me!"
"Affirmative"
And quickly the trio move to help on the patrol duty, Kamina going in front right next to Coolmon and the gears floating behind Leo and Aya to protect the back line just in case

Aya's giggling continued! "Of course, of course. If there's something you should be remembered by, it should be dignity, right?" Maybe? Probably?
One thing was certain for the knight, though. For someone that was called a general? Eleonora seemed quite pleasant. Despite how strangely warm it felt holding her hand. "Oh, you don't have to! Coolmon's a hard worker, she said so herself!" Yet, the general opted to bring her army out anyways! Well, less an army and more a trio.
Four heads were, however, better than one. With Leo's hand still being squeezed, Aya gave a wave to the spunky Mamemon and his company. "Hey, I'm Ayaka. Just call me Aya. This is my partner, Coolmon. It's nice to meet you!" Coolmon, meanwhile, gave a smile and a nod.
They were now a group, how would this turn out? Given there was a distant crash against a tree? Things might be about to change some.
