It was a little awkward, resuming the patrol after that. It honestly was, but Aya was relieved everyone got out of that alright. Except maybe Leo. She walked a little closer to her. "You're...fine, right? Didn't get scratched or anything?" The young lady inquired, looking closer to Leo.
Aya herself wasn't necessarily hurt. Just a bit shaken from that encounter. At least she seemed that way. Coolmon was none the worse for wear, even laughing at Leo's suggestion! "Yes! We can play baseball together sometime if you do!"
Aya then looked to Kamina. "Well, sometimes you can't afford to look cool without losing protection, so...I guess it works? At least we didn't die or anything..."

Now that Coolmon mentions it, some digimon might be good for playing team sports like baseball, wonder if Eleonora could get the whole army for a team, sure the gears might have a problem since no hands but still 12 partners are enough, right?
She'll think about it later, for now let's focus on Aya's worry and being honest the moment Eleonora step on this forest she was not OK, like at all, after all that happen this place really gives a weird vibe and while she was feeling at ease with Aya the big bad bug had to attack throwing away all kind of safeness she was feeling
"I am fine, not a single scratch or anything but..." She made a pause trying to collect her ideas on how to explain it "It's a mix of being here on the forest and a bug attacking, this might sound a little dumb and weird seeing that I literally ran towards one but... I'm kinda scared of bugs" The German confessed blushing a little in shame for such a silly fear (although being afraid of bugs in the digital world is not that silly if we are fair) "Besides being here is already weird for me, so I'm sorry if I'm worrying you and making things a little difficult"
For this time Kamina decided to not answer to Aya, it was obvious that his General had priority over him now, and he can respect the needs of the boss, it'll be best if they keep focus on the patrol and let the humans bond a little more, besides how much is left from this patrol anyway? Better if they enjoy a little tranquility

Much of Aya's worry went away with Leo's confirmation that she was, in fact, okay. The knight let out a sigh of relief. "...That's good. I'd...feel guilty if you were hurt. This was mostly my idea, and...It wouldn't sit right with me knowing someone that wasn't me got hurt for my idiocy. Er. Supposed idiocy? I don't know. That aside...What you did was actually pretty brave. Running towards something despite fearing it..."
Aya took a pause before shaking her head. "No, no! You're not making this difficult at all--the difficulty comes from the job itself, not you. Please don't...think like that. You're not a burden, Leo." Coolmon then interjected, having been a bit quiet for a few seconds. "She's right, if it weren't for you, we'd probably still be fighting that Okuwamon right now!"

Aya would feel guilty if something happen to her? Why? If anything the only one to blame for her "plan" failing was herself, besides it's not the first time that throwing something at the big murder happy monster would've backfire, and it's nice to have someone that worries for her but at the same time it doesn't feel right
"Seriously it's OK, don't worry, I came here by my own so if anything all the fault is on me" Said the blonde with a weak smile
Furthermore asking to not think that way was a little too much, after all what happen here was mostly her fault, sure it was because she wasn't thinking and was caught in the heat of the moment but still she made things are the more complicated for herself and her group.
"It's hard not to think I'm a burden when last time I was here I make everything go in the worst possible way, I had to do one thing, just one thing remain calm but no, I decided that it was a good a idea to lose my cool grab a rock and fling it to the Demon Lord which would you know it? It pissed the hell out of her, not only that I order my partners to do whatever it takes to destroy the flowers she wanted but that meant also attacking whoever was in front including our allies" She didn't want to but she raised her voice, not because she was angry but frustrated "And after that I realized I screw it up and froze letting that monster get near me and─" Eleonora stop herself, Aya doesn't need this, no one actually needs to hear this, it's a weight that the German believes only her has to carry "Sorry, it's not important, what I'm trying to say is... I've been through worst no need to worry if I'm injure or anything, I'm fine, let's just finish with this"
Kamina was completely oblivious to what happen here as by that time he wasn't part of the army yet, and asking the General of Gold didn't seem like the smartest thing to do right now, he might be a boisterous digimon bu he knows when is better to remain silent and not make things more awkward, tho that doesn't mean the gears are out of the question
"What happen after that?" He mutered being as careful as possible for the German to not listen to him
"We do not know, Lilithmon did something to her and after a couple of minutes she fainted, after that she did not speak to us about what actually happen so we are as blind as anyone on this topic"

Alright, all things considered, Aya didn't have much knowledge on what happened the last time she was here, but she did stop to listen to Eleonora's story. Yet at the same time, there was a lot that both she and Coolmon didn't originally know about Leo's situation.
There was also the fact that Leo was raising her voice. It wasn't out of anger, but it was enough to make Aya shrink back some. Coolmon glanced to her tamer. "Aya...?" The keen-eyed could note that she was still waiting for Leo to finish, before she just...tried to relax a bit.
She wasn't sure if there was anything she could or should say to what she was just told. But, Aya did feel like there was something that needed to be done. She took two steps towards Leo before she pulled her into a hug. "Leo, I...wasn't...really aware of the extent of what happened the last time you were here, but I'm still sorry to hear that nonetheless. Just...you don't need to beat yourself up over it, especially that badly..."
Coolmon meanwhile looked towards Kamina and the gears. She caught...a name. Lilithmon. But she wasn't about to blab. That name was...bad news, usually. But, there was a thought that crossed her mind... "...Demon Lord..." ...That's concerning.

If she already was feeling bad noticing that she was raising her voice almost yelling and Aya taking a couple of steps back made Eleonora feel even worst, did she really needed to raise her voice? Did she really needed to drop all that to a girl she just met and so far has been the nicest person she know thus far?
Well, Aya didn't seem to mind since she quickly pull her for a hug, it felt weird to just let almost everything out and she got a hug out of it, yet there was another feeling mixed, one that she could not describe easy but it was warm and relaxing, the blonde hug the Lilac Knight back and rest her head on the girl's shoulder hiding her face
"Thanks..." That was the only thing she muttered
Well this was a little awkward for the "army" while Solarmon didn't emote or said one word as it know it was a common thing that humans do to comfort each other, Metalmamemon looked pretty confused and scratch the top of his helmet with his claw.
Kamina was a mon of action so having to stop the patrol for a hug was weird, of course not that there was anything wrong he know about affection and those things he had a date once but one would think this would be better for a peaceful place not a forest where they were attacked not long ago and where apparently a Demon Lord roams
"Thanks for inviting me here, if it was on me probably wouldn't step foot here ever again, but next to you I feel safe and while I'm still scared taking this first steps would help a lot in the future" She finally move to face the girl and smile at her

If anything was certain at the moment, it was that Leo probably needed that. Badly. She didn't feel like she could entirely comprehend everything that Leo told her yet, but...It was obvious that she needed an ear at the very least. That was something she had been willing to serve as.
This was pretty awkward indeed. Coolmon even muttered, "Huh, maybe what she said about the woods -was- true..." to herself as she looked at Kamina and Solarmon. Yeah, they were weirded out too. Did she and Rinji look like this when they hugged? God, how whack.
When Aya finally let go of Leo, she gave her a nod. "Of course. Part of overcoming trauma involves facing the place something terrible happened. So...You're correct, it will help a lot in time." The girl stated, a smile quickly gracing her face as they reached the inevitable start of the route again.
A loop around the forest. Just as the map had said. "...Hey, so...Do you want to hang out sometime? Like...Not going on dangerous patrols with me but hanging out at Terminus or something?" ...Aya what are you doing.

Well if it really help her being here it's going to be seen, as of now the German has an even bigger aversion to be on the woods, if it's not a Demon Lord taking her humanity away is a giant beetle trying to eat her, so... Yeah but no, Eleonora would love to spend as much time as possible away from this forest
"I guess it's the first step.... Tho I don't think I'm coming back unless I have a really strong reason" Said the German hugging Aya a little tighter before letting her go, she needed this so badly yet she wouldn't like to make it more awkward
And after that the group start the patrol again, it was completely uneventful thankfully, as Eleonora was still a little nervous thinking that the Okuwamon may still be roaming around, it was hard to feel at ease again after that, even if Aya and Coolmon were such great company for this little trip, and for the army seeing that the danger was out of the picture the DigiXros finally finished and Mamemon X and Hagurumon X split back.
All things considered it was a "nice" trip, it beats the last one by a mile and she got to meet a friend from the internet which was fun, Aya is really a nice girl that Leo would enjoy to hang out more often, and as soon as she thought that the lilac girl offer to hang out sometime just like friends in Terminus or somewhere else
"Sure! I'd like too, one day that I'm not a death's doorstep would be nice" The blonde laughed

"That makes sense." Aya agreed with that. There honestly wouldn't be any good reason to come back here aside from duty calling or to settle some business with that demon. Even as Eleonora released her, Aya still kept that smile of hers on her face. ...She didn't think it was that awkward, if at all.
It was a good thing that the rest of the patrol was uneventful. The forest felt eerie enough with the knowledge that the Okuwamon was out there, and anything else might have made the trip seem even more harrowing for Aya. Coolmon jogged up to her tamer and pat her on the leg. "...All things considered, I think you both did a good job." She told the girls as they neared the Trailmon.
"Alright! Should I send you a message on Tamernet when I'm free so we can work things out from there?" Aya seemed excited at this prospect!

And so they reach the Trailmon station and were ready to bid the farewell, Eleonora smiled as Coolmon praise her, although she might have done the crazy act that help them gain some time without the efforts of Coolmon and Kamina they most likely wouldn't know about the weak spot.
"You did good too Coolmon, you're really brave and live up to your name" She said kneeling and patting the pink bunny
"Agree, you both are brave and make great partners, we definitely need to hang out more often, from this day forward I say that you girls are honorable members of the Brave Heart Army!" Kamina proclaimed proudly as if he was the leadr or was his decision who was part of the army or not
"And sure, you'll find me on Tamernet for sure, just send a message and we can arrange something!" Hanging out with Aya in a non dangerous situation will be fun for sure, everyone needs a break from crazy near dead shenanigans and if you have a friend to share those breaks the better "Hope you have a safe trip back home, take care"

"Well, yeah! Why wouldn't I? I'm the only Coolmon!" Coolmon replied, giving herself a pat on the back for her efforts today. But...Those words actually meant something. It meant that despite having gotten that which she wished for above all else in this universe?
She was doing good so far.
Perhaps she was made for this.
Of course, Aya herself was more shocked that they were just made honorary members of a Xros Army!...Probably? Kamina definitely didn't seem like the leader, that was more Leo's job considering she was the general and all of that. The lilac-haired girl regarded Leo's words with a nod, before she extended a hand towards the German. "Come on, I'll walk you to the station." If she accepted, then Aya would do just that, walk her to the Trailmon.
They'd get in, and that'd be that.

"The only Coolmon" Eleonora smiled as she hear that, a sentence that couldn't be more right, even if she spent so little time in the digital world it was enough time to know that every digimon is unique in their own way, species may be the same but their personalities and abilities sure are different so much so that you'll never meet two digimon that are the same.
"You're right, and there can be only one so keep being yourself!"
Whether or not was on Kamina to decide who can join or not the Blonde wasn't going to object in this duo's case, hey if the army is comfortably with them even more reasons to have them around, tho the "army" as of now is just a very excitable ball of metal and two gears that are basically robots.
"You sure like to play the knight in shining armor role, aren't you?" Leo responded to the gesture of Aya,
She hold her hand and walked together to the station, it was a quick trip all things considered and so it was finally time to say "see you around" as they waited for their respective trailmons, hopefully it won't take long for them to see each other again and next time on a more friendlier and non dangerous situation
"It was fun knowing you two, may the stars shine upon your path until fate bring us together once more!" Kamina said with a bow
"What he said, it was a pleasure to meet you in person, until next time" Eleonora smiled at her new friends

"...Well! If you say so!" Coolmon regarded that with a wide smile. Aya, meanwhile, was caught a bit off guard by Leo's comment towards her gesture. Did she really come off as something like that? The answer was a solid probably, really. "...It's a nice role to play, I've found." She really did enjoy it, but Leo didn't need to just call her out like that!
Regardless of all of this, however, the time had come to say goodbye for now, as Aya and Coolmon's Trailmon had pulled up to the station, looking a bit surprised at the two for one reason or another. The lilac-haired girl looked to Leo and Kamina and nodded. "Of course! I look forward to next time, maybe there'll be less bugs trying to eat us."
Far less horrifying experiences like that, hopefully. Either way, the two ducked into the Trailmon and it began to move in no time at all, with Coolmon waving bye from the windows enthusiastically!

Eleonora chuckle at the reaction and answer of Aya, there was something oddly cute about her answer of finding roleplaying fun, the German never actually did it but who's she to say something about what others find fun, and hey she has the armor and so far has pull the attitude.
"Agree, less bugs would be perfect, maybe we can go to a more peaceful place and have a picnic or something" She commented with a smile
The group wave as the Trailmon took off, it was a cute sign seeing coolmon waving at them too, she have to admit that even if this wasn't her most ideal day ever, she had fun and it was nice to meet a friend she made on the internet, the duo was nice and surely will be a positive influence not only on the group but on Eleonora herself, god knows she needs a close friend and that hug as small as it was felt like took a huge weight from her back.
But for now it was time for them to get back on track, objective to make the army grow stronger in order to defeat the Demon Lords or at least Lilithmon, the next stop was Terminus where the group will meet a certain duo that will help them on the next big adventure
