A New World, A New Journey (Tetsu/Gryz, invite)

To be frank, Bors probably should of been a lot more worried, after all, this was the first time he had left the village of beginnings. And yet, all the DemiTyrannomon could feel was excitement and relief. Sure, the village of beginnings had been a pleasant place to live for a time, Cherrymon and many of the others staying there had been kind to him, made him feel like he'd belonged even as he had grown with surprising speed from the fresh stage to rookie stage. But that didn't make him feel any more comfortable with the idea that if someone were to anger him he could possibly hurt the others in the village when he flew into a rage. As such, here he was, walking down a path leading to a place called Rosewood, carrying a bindle full of stuff Cherrymon gave him, apparently most of it mainly being bits.
Pulling himself out of his thoughts with a shake of his head, his eyes widened and pace quickened as he noticed several buildings off in the distance, no doubt this Rosewood town that Cherrymon had told him of. The closer he got the more digimon he noticed coming from and going to the village, all from several different paths attached to the town. He also couldn't help but notice how many of the other digimon he was seeing were smaller then he was, in some cases even greatly so. Cherrymon had told him he'd run into far more developed digimon in this town then he did in the village of beginnings, and while their far more developed appearances led him to assume this was the case, he had assumed they'd all be bigger.
Entering the town he came to realize it was also a lot more populated then he had been expecting, the path he was on bustling with noise and activity. In addition to several buildings that already existed, he could also see what he assumed to be buildings in various stages of construction, each one seemed to have several digimon working on it. Frankly this was all quite new to him, and Bors couldn't help but simply stand there looking around, taking in all the new sights and sounds he hadn't experienced in the village of beginnings.
However, he also began to notice that some of the digimon were staring at him as they walked by, some of them even stopping, mouths agape as they stared up at him. Unnerved by the attention, he began to back off to the side of the path, accidentally backing into the stand of a street-side merchant and almost knocking her stand over.
"WOAH! HEY! BE CAREFUL!" A Wormmon shouted in a panic, heaving a sigh of relief as her stand stopped swaying.
Lowering his head in embarrassment Bors let out a quiet "I'm sorry..." Before practically jogging away, causing other digimon to jump out of the way or yelp in surprise as the giant rookie almost trampled them. Eventually he dipped off into a gap in between two buildings, where he to took a seat, wrapping his tail around himself as he stared down at the ground in embarrassment and slight fear.

"...Ngaaah..." unfortunately not everyone is eager and up... one person in particular seem to fully enjoy a lil nap on a huge bear's back. Tetsu had pulled some unfortunate all nighters trying to study for exam, one which he just finished. A bit of problem in Digital World led him unable to study as much but going back to real world without at least studying is a waste of time... he crammed everything he could learned in three days, reduces his sleep times and finally manage to get good score. Safe for now. No detentions from mother or grandfather.
...Grandfather is especially scary when it comes to his grades.
Thinking of nice place to visit while in his holiday, Tetsu picked Rosewood. Why? It's warm, it's not hot, it smelled the nature he loved the most, and most of all, it's peaceful and quiet. It reminds him of his home in Hokkaido, although it's more chilly than this. North Prominence is nice and all, especially Ys, but even then it's still really chilly. A warmer climate probably would be good for change...
Meanwhile, Gryz, the corrupted Gryzmon with warm heart still very well enjoying the sight and the calmness of it all... that's until suddenly he found a child stage towering about the rest. Whaaat the heck happened? Not even the tallest of his group is as tall as this one. It felt like someone who came from different anime season!
"......Ey, sup?" he asked the 'mon.

Alright, perhaps it wasn't the best idea for him to leave the village of beginnings. I didn't even bother to ask Cherrymon how I should interact with the people here, or even where I should go to stay when I got here... Bors thought, ridiculing himself in his mind over the poor decision. He was so caught up in his mind he didn't notice the human and gryzmon approach him in his hiding spot between the two buildings, at least not until he heard the digimon call out to him.
Jolting in surprise, his head turned, pupils dilated and muscles tensing up instinctively, staring at the two new comers. A bear digimon and a....what is that? He slowly began to relax, simply staring at the creature atop the gryzmon. Wait...this is one of those humans I saw a few times at the village, isn't it? While staying at the village he had seen a few of them from time to time, each one being different from the other, and this human was no different. From what he had gathered from Cherrymon when asking him about humans, he was told that there were three different age groups one can separate humans into, child, teenager, and adult. Based on the description of each age, Bors was guessing this human was a child. He couldn't say for certain, but this human looked small, probably no higher then his chest. The human was also unusually muscular, even compared to some of the older humans he'd seen. He'd heard one of the humans talking about steroids before, how they make their muscles bigger, maybe this kid was using those.
Realizing the Gryzmon had asked him a question, he hesitantly answered. "Uh, not much I guess, I just arrived in town, but I come from the village of beginning and wasn't really sure what to expect, and I kinda got overwhelmed by it all." Honestly, he didn't know these two, it probably wasn't wise to be telling them this stuff, but so far they'd been the only ones to approach him in this town. "Uh, is there a reason you two approached me? This isn't about what happened with that wormmon's stall is it?"

Gryz tilted his head questioningly. "...Um, sorry, brother, what Wormmon are you talking about?" he asked. Honestly, yes, Gryz is very tall and huge, so he can be mistaken as a thug... not helping that he looked more wicked than those of a normal Gryzmon, but even then... he's honestly a peace loving Digimon. Did he mistook him as someone else entirely?
"I don't think I know any Wormmon so rest assured I'm not here for anything like that. I just... never seen someone so big somehow hiding between buildings like this... It makes me wonder if you have any sort of phobia, or whether you're chased by someone... but it looked like you're only just a bit awkward, aren't you?"
...From the Village of Beginning? It actually made Gryz wonder just how can this one Digimon walk fine in that place and somehow ended up awkward in here...
"...Well rather than two of us, I guess it's just me. Tets here is a bit tired from his tests. He need his nap haha." Gryz corrected the boy's posture slightly so he's less dangling on his side and more to the center. The boy groaned a bit, but seem to find the right spot again.
"I'd love to get him to the inn, but I found myself slightly enamored by the nature of this place. It's definitely very much the aesthetic I love."

Ah, alright, so the Gryzmon wasn't sent by the wormmon who's stand he almost knocked over, that was a relief. As for the part where the Gryzmon was questioning him on why he was hiding here, he couldn't help but blushing in embarrassment, his 'cheeks' turning a darker shade of red. "Ah, uh, well, I wouldn't call it a phobia, nor was I getting chased..." Then the Gryzmon mentioned that perhaps he was just a bit of an awkward person. "Ah, yeah, sure I guess. The village of beginnings really isn't too comparable to this place, so I wasn't exactly ready for the drastic change I guess." No need to mention that he was incredibly paranoid of someone randomly having an issue with him and angering him, that'd just raise more questions.
Bors tilted his head slightly at the mention of the human taking a test, before turning his attention to the human he could just see on the Gryzmon's back. Ah, so the human was sleeping, would explain why he hadn't opened his eyes or said anything. Then the mention of an inn caught his attention. His mood brightening slightly and completely ignoring the rest of the Gryzmon's sentence, Bors unwrapped his tail from around his body and stood up, staring at the Gryzmon. "Ah, you know where the inn is in the town right? Cherrymon told me that would be the best place to head to when I arrived in the town. Do you, well...." He scratched the side of his face, looking down at the ground. "Do you think you could lead me to it? It sounded like you were gonna go there as well, after all." He hoped the Grymon would say yes.

"Culture shock then? Well I can understand." Gryz too was honestly about to meet Tetsu at Terminus before the mercenary that the village kindly provided him turned out to be a nonprofessional one that nearly caused his death by abandonment. If not for the fact a new acquaintance helped him, he'll probably would be dead few minutes after he stepped away from the village... Rosewood helped minimized that somewhat but looks like there are a bit of a hitch here too.
"Hmmm, well it's less crowed in my opinion but... I think it might be more to your sudden growth, mate. You're really tall for child Digimon standard after all. Although I have seen bigger... just not quite as tall to be honest."
Er? Suddenly he doesn't hear the rest of his talk? Well... He guess he must be so much in distress that the notion of some peace and quiet at the inn made him better... Poor guy. "Well, let's see... all town should have any guides. This is my first time here to be honest. Why don't we go look for them now? Who knows, maybe what you need is just time to adjust to your new form hmn? A lil walk won't hurt."

Culture shock was what the Gryzmon called his distress? Perhaps it was, Cherrymon had taught them all such things from time to time, and he could of sworn that Cherrymon had taught them about 'culture shock' once after a human who had come to the village seemed quite jarred by the village.
Then the bear digimon brought up how his size might be the cause for his shock at the change, causing Bors to frown slightly. Sure, when he had first digivolved to this form it had been a bit of a shock and he had to get use to maneuvering around people and objects, but that was a while ago. Shaking his head, he explained. "I doubt my current form is the reason for my shock at the change, after all, I've been in this stage for...I think a month? Maybe two months? Time kinda blurs at the village of beginnings, but I definitely know I've been like this for a while now. The only thing that really makes me uncomfortable is when a bunch of people stare." Well, that wasn't really the only thing, but it wasn't best to get into it.
While slightly disappoint to hear that the bear digimon wasn't too sure where to go, it did bring a small amount of comfort knowing that he wasn't the only one slightly lost on where things were. "Hmmm, a guide you said? Well, okay, if you want go ahead and lead the way..." He paused, silent for several moments. "We never did exchange names, did we?" He slowly raised one of his arms, holding out a three fingered hand to shake. He tried giving him a smile that he hoped didn't look intimidating, the others at the village said he looked scary sometimes when he smiled. "My name is Bors, what's yours?"

"Something akin to stage fright then?" Gryz commented, scratching his cheek while thinking about the possible explanation. Well the guy looked fine. Friendly enough that is. Eh well, no harm in helping right? "Oh right where's my manners... Name's Gryz. This fella over here is Tetsu... he's still sleeping though. Nice to meet you Bors."
Gryz started to walk to the city's center. Too bad he doesn't have Tetsu's D-Nexus ready on him, which means that he have to once again depend on his own sense of direction. Not that bad but at the same time it's been a while. Thankfully the road aren't that hard. Exploring in Ys probably far worse considering how many stairs there are, how many bridges, and all that. ...Well, time to make some small talks while going to the center he guess.
"By the way I don't think you should be concerned at all when people stare... at least, not when you're with me. If you haven't noticed I'm not... 'normal', you see? Gryzmons are mostly Vaccines, yes? But during some mishap in an adventure, I somehow got my data altered to such way that even my lower stages are affected... My reason to go here was mostly to find someone who understand how data works and can do something about it... and if they can quarantine the corruption in my data to to my base forms so in case I need to slide evolve, this data won't follow."

Bors gave a small smile, giving a nod. "Alright, it is nice to meet you Gryz, as well as the human named Tetsu, even if he isn't awake." He lowered his arm without receiving the hand shake he was hoping for, but he didn't mind, Gryz might not be able to shake his hand since he seemed to be a...quadruped? Yeah, a quadruped. "And yeah, I guess we could call it stage fright."
Bors proceeded to follow Gryz, following closely behind him. While he noticed that people were staring again, it seemed to be mainly focused on Gryz, Bors guessed Gryz's appearance and the fact he had a human with him was more attention grabbing, which he didn't mind. Sheepishly apologizing to a digimon he bumped into, he turned his attention back to the bear. While he had noticed that Gryz had looked a little...odd, he didn't really think much of it. After all, the digimon he'd seen all came in different sizes and appearances. He said that Gryzmons are suppose to be Vaccine types, but then said his data was altered and that had affected him. "So...are you still a vaccine type? Or are all of your forms different now? You also said how you are here looking for someone who can fix it, how do you know they are here? Also you almost make it sound as if this data worries you, is there a reason you want it quarantined? Is it dangerous to have spread to your other forms?"
While waiting for a response, Bors began to look around, trying to see if there was anything obvious standing out to represent a guide. "Hey, uh, Gryz? What exactly is it we are looking for? Is it a sign, a board, another digimon?"

Is he still a Vaccine type? Gryz shook his head negative. "No, sadly I'm not. I'm Virus type thanks to it. Any form of normalcy kind of tossed out. Bearmon was supposed to be Vaccine too, but thanks to that mishap I'm also Virus type in that form. As for what's next... I guess I'm the scariest Waru Monzaemon you'll ever seen. You see... back in the village of beginning one day a seer visited. She was a Babamon. She entertained the kids and read of their future... but as my turn came she suddenly said something like... 'In the future you'll be a Demon Lord Class Digimon'. Of course I was shocked. Like, how? I don't think I love violence a lot, or love it at all for that matter!"
Tetsu groaned a bit, stretching slightly, but resumed to sleep after a brief little sleepy glance at the road.
"...Ha, looks like he feel it's not a good time to wake up yet. Anyway, she also told me that I'll be partnered to someone. I was delighted honestly, hoping for a good one, hoping for a guy that can walk me away from my fate of being a demon lord class DIgimon... Well, turned out I can't really escape from my fate. Tetsu is a good kid, don't get me wrong. He's the best little brother a bear can have. I think many people mistaken us as Kintarou and his bear or something, HA! But in the end, our little journey had a mishap, and now I have to get the consequence. I'm a Belphemon now.
Well. I don't know if they're here or not... but... Well, the thing that happened to me seemed more... hmmm... spiritual in nature? So I'm looking for Shaman. This area seem to have quite numbers of spiritual influence, you know? I've tried doctors, so maybe witch doctors can do that instead? Heh.
As of why I want them to be quarantined? Well... how to say... my attacks corrupts the earth it touched, changing the data, changing the structure... Sure Digimons attack can affect the landscape, but I don't really want to be a destroyer, you got me? Because it spread to my lower form there's no reason it won't spread to my other forms if I happened to got it."
What are they looking for? "Ah, it's easy. Usually guides tends to be in the center of intersections or some little posts near there. Ah, look, here we are. Excuse me!"
He called a guide, which apparently is a Woodmon. "Could you please tell us good inns, sir?"
"Absolutely, mate! You can head to the west near the pond over there, that's one of our best. If you want something else slightly cheaper, my suggestion is to go near the forest over there on your ten. First one is Smelt Splash Inn and the second one is Gentle Breeze Inn."
"Thanks there mate," Gryz passed some bits to the guy. "So you heard 'im Bors."

Bors listened to everything that the Gryzmon was telling him, from how he went from a vaccine to a Virus type, to how he was worried the corrupted data that made his attacks corrupt the landscape could spread to his other forms. What stood out the most to him however was the mentioning of him being able to digivolve into Belphemon. This had caused him to pause for a moment, before he quickly began walking again to stay close to Gryz. "You...you said Belphemon, right? As in the same species of digimon that is notorious for being one of the seven great demon lords of legend?" Cherrymon had told them many stories while he had lived in the village of beginnings, the most common of which had been the various legends of conflict between the Demon Lords and the Royal Knights. One of the stories he had found most enjoyable was a supposedly banned tale of how the Demon Lord Beelzemon and the Royal Knight Gallantmon had come together to face an unknown enemy to both factions.
Before he could comment any further Gryz gave a shout as he spotted the guide he was apparently looking for, which turned out to be a woodmon. Said digimon then told them of the two available inns, one being the more high end Smelt Splash inn, and the other being the cheaper Gentle breeze inn. It also seemed like Gryz was leaving him to choose. "Uh, well, Cherrymon claimed he left me a large amount of bits in the bindle I brought along with me, but I'm not sure how expensive that smelt splash place is. Plus, I don't wanna say we should go to Smelt Splash and put you and Tetsu in an awkward place if you don't have the money for it. Really, I think I am fine with either one, so I'll let you pick Gryz."

"Well not THE Belphemon as in, the Belphemon that is part of the seven deadly sins, but I'm a Belphemon as in the species, yes. It's confusing I know. But I'm significantly weaker than the Belphemon, I think. I think it need four or sixteen of me to win against that... well I wouldn't know considering I never met the 'true' Original Belphemon for sure," Gryz answered.
It looked like Bors felt that it's up to them to choose. So he want to stay together or something? Well, he doesn't mind that.
"The one close to the pond seem nice," suddenly third voice quipped. Tetsu now is awake and rubbing his eyes. The youth stretched his body like a cat then rubbed his eyes. "Morning Gryz."
"Morning, brother. Ah Tetsu, this is Bors. He's something of an acquaintance who arrived to this town just recently."
"Ossu," Tetsu greeted sleepily. "Tetsu here... well I'm a bit too sleepy to even properly introduce myself. Give me five minutes and I'll be ready to go."
"Well Tetsu said the Smelt Splash is probably better. He probably gonna swim and fish there anyway. What says you Bors? We have the money I think, and the town offered few jobs you can take if you don't have enough money. Who knows, maybe people gonna give you place to stay if you help around. You know, those sort of reputation thing?"

Before Gryz could respond to Bors's question, a third voice voice spoke first, saying the one close to the pond sounded nice. Looking to the top of the bear's back, Bors saw that the younger human was now awake, or at least somewhat. He then heard Gryz introduce his 'brother' to him, which the large red dinosaur responded to with a small wave. "Hello Tetsu, I am Bors. As your partner said, I am new here." He then snorted in slight amusement at the child's words of only needing five more minutes, he'd heard that enough times back at the village to know it was probably gonna be more then five minutes.
Bors then turned his attention to Gryz, who was asking if he was up for going to the inn by the pond, which he responded to with a nod. "Alright, if that is where you at Tetsu wanna go, then we can go there." Hope you gave me enough bits to stay at this place Cherrymon. Gryz then mentioned how he could probably take a job around town if he needed money. While he understood that was probably for the best, he still felt a bit uneasy about the town, making him hesitant to go looking for a job just yet. Never the less, he nodded to the bear. "I'll take that into consideration, but lets get to the inn first. Do you mind leading the way Gryz?"

Instead of sleeping more Tetsu seem to just let his eyes open halfway sleepily. His arm hanging on the side of Gryz's flank, swinging idly as his bear partner walked to their destination. He seemed to be still a bit out of it, but definitely slept enough for him to slowly wake up.
Gryz meanwhile lead them to the small pathway leading to the pond. As they walked further, the building thinned, leaving much desired nature take place. There are more fruit trees along the road, blooming flowers on small lot to the left, and most importantly, the calm lake that thankfully does not include noisy kids that would cannonball to the lake.
The reason is apparently clear. As they walked, further behind the lodge is a river, far enough for voices to not disturb the guests. The kids are playing there. The stream is not too fast that it would drag those playing kids, but definitely challenging enough to swim in. Tetsu perked up and sighed 'that would be so great'.
"...Heh, looks like it's the right choice for us to go here, Bors."
Gryz was the first one to enter the lodge via he door, which looked like saloon rotating door in wild west.
"Hello mate," the bear greeted the receptionist, a Bakumon. "How much is a night for two person and single person?"
"Hello, sirs. Our current rate is 350 bits per night for double room and 200 bits per night for single room. Each with personal bathroom, but hot water is charged about 35 bits per tub. Breakfast included, but for lunch and dinner if you wish to partake, you have to pay 50 bits each."
"How about the suite?"
"It's 750 bits per night."
"Wanna take the suite, Tetsu?"
The boy shrugged, and smiled. "Can't be wrong to kick back some~"
"We'll take the suite. Bors what about you?"

Bors followed behind Gryz silently, observing the area around them as they walked. The further along the path they traveled the fewer buildings that could be found, until they eventually gave way to nature, a number of various trees could be seen along the sides of the path, soon giving way to the lake the inn they had been told about was named after. The lake itself wasn't particularly massive, but it was a decent size, and Bors could see that it was connected to a small river, where young digimon and even a few humans could be seen playing in the water. He had to admit, the atmosphere around the inn was quite nice, calming. Clearly it was a place built for relaxation. Gryz then mentioned how it looked like they made the right choice coming here. "Yes, it seems you made a good choice."
Allowing Gryz to enter first, Bors soon followed him inside, seeing that Gryz was already speaking to the receptionist as he entered. He silently listened to the Bakumon explain, hearing the various prices for the rooms, accommodations, and meals. Hm, these prices could be far worse, I was kinda expecting worse. If he was correct, he could probably stay here for a few nights before having to find a cheaper place. Gryz then turned to him, asking what his choice would be. Approaching the Bakumon slowly, uncertain on if he'd scare it due to his size, he put on what he hoped looked like a kind smile, before addressing it and Gryz. "Yes, I'll take a single room, don't need anything too elaborate, and no need for hot water, I think I can handle that. As for food, might just travel into town for that, no offense." He said, the last part being meant for the Bakumon. He then turned his attention mainly to the Gryzmon. "Do we wanna meet up somewhere later after settling into our rooms?"
